Speaker 1 (00:00):
H m hm hm hm.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Hm.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Oh that was a broke you're telling you know what
he said? You're tuned in and I'm thirty on a
Thursday night, and that could mean that you are only
tuned into one thing. You're tuned into chip Chat. Everybody
go and I audition. Yes, I'm t Who are you, Brian?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I'm right now? Ai j.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Oh, God, just you broke the whole thing up. No,
I just told you. You just told him.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I don't know Brian anyway, whoever you want to call me,
I'm the average white guy. How's that?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
The average white guy? And you know, obviously to kick
this off, uh, the real rf K JR. Trials of
a truth Warrior. Yeah, who helcome to chip Chat everybody?
Obviously obviously Chip is not here. But this is a
special edition of chip Chap as it is every week

(01:48):
because Chip is on assignment. In particular, he's atoning for
his sins and being hungry and praying all day happy
yum kapoor to my Jewish brothers and sisters all out there. Yeah,
and that is why he's not here. Obviously, last week
we were off my favorite type of.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Now, well, no, you were off. We were off.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
You were off last night. I was off the week
before that, obviously on assignment, doing lots of work. Again,
nothing happened during that time, Right got his job back.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah, And you know, we didn't see a whole bunch
of you know, you know, U and diplomats walking out
on a big speech. I didn't say that a bunch.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Of mass shooting that never happened to.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
No Trump, And and has skippen talked to a whole
bunch of generals about a bunch of bullshit that never happened.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
We'll get to that that didn't happen, but we will
get to that. So, Yeah, myself and Brian we're in
charge today, which is one thing and it's the only
thing that I can say that's gonna I can't say
that this will be a clean show. The show is
never cleaned. I can't say that there won't be mistakes.
This show is rifle with mistakes every week. But what

(02:59):
I can say is that just walking thus going to
midnight tonight. Okay, it's an eleven o'clock, God damn it, right,
any at eleven o'clock, not a minute or five minutes early. Okay,
is now?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Clock is now? Folks? Yeah, Yes, yeah, so and you'll
see the complete difference.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Yeah, you know, it'll be a different CPT time. It's
gonna be it's gonna be on time. Actually it's gonna
end on time. But no, no, of course. Uh you know,
like well I love to hear myself talk. I don't
love it as much as the host of the show. Uh,
listen to this, So he's gonna hear that. Yeah, but

(03:43):
obviously we're gonna do a normal ship we do around
These parts will have some headlines as always. We'll talk
about Trump and his string of losses in court, which
seems to be judicial.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
He has more losses than the freaking you know who
we can say, the Browns, the Brown Anthers maybe as Ravens.
That is the way they plan.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Oh god, yeah, we should carve out at time for
you to talk about your your beloved Ravens had an
interesting take about Lamar Jackson earlier, so that I would
love to hear your thoughts on. But you know, the
sports show very quickly interested with him. Not around here
obviously here in uh the federally controlled capital, we are

(04:25):
under well not just we. The country is in a
government shutdown, I think obviously in this area we feel
it first, but that obviously reverberate across the country. Uh
as it already is begun. But yeah, that's that's starting.
I don't we have some updates on that, but the
biggest update is that this is probably going through next week,
if not longer. There's only one person who holds the

(04:46):
record of the longest shutdown. He is in office. So
we'll see if he breaks see if he breaks some records. Yeah,
but yeah, you know it's gonna be it's gonna be
a great show. Actually, we still have time still in
at ten minutes of the first thing. I had an
interesting thing around Lamar Jackson in the sense that when
he first came into the league, because there was so
much criticism that kind of teetered on like blatant racism, right.

(05:10):
I mean, if we think that Bill Pollion said he
wasn't a quarterback when he's clearly a Hall of Famer,
first ballot, like no matter right now, no championship, clearly
first battle, Hall of Famer in the NFL. But they
maybe it was the kind that was made that then
maybe there's an over correction now where we don't hold
him to the same standard that he hasn't been able
to win in the big games, and he obviously hasn't

(05:31):
even made it to the Super Bowl to try to
win one.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Of those yet.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
But I thought it was interesting, like almost that do
we have an overcorrection where where where the people who
dislike Lamhar is like, you just don't want I don't
want to be on the side of them, right, Not
just I don't, but is there a place where you
can still give criticism towards him? And you know, I mean,
I don't know his inability with the big games. I
don't want to say the inability yet, but because he's

(05:55):
in the prime of his career, but it isn't won
the big games yet.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
All right, Well, let's let's put this way. The biggest
critic of Lamar Jackson is Lamar Jackson his own biggest
credit and he knows it. He knows what needs you know,
what has to be done, needs to be done. And
it's kind of unfortunate that whatever this injury is, because
again they I love the Rips, how they keep quiet

(06:19):
about his injury. It's like, yeah, no one knows what
it is, but he'll be out for a bit. So
Cooper Rush, good luck to you.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Man, good luck, good luck. And with that, obviously I'm
finally finally French by Accidental Life brit Real Book. Yeah,
you know, just checking out my favorite publishing site saying

(06:52):
what new what new reads they have on there that
I will be jumping right into.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Night.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Well you know, I mean I don't have to dragged
this out. We could finish off the intro and in
a timely matter and just keep moving. Yeah, exactly. Yeah,
you know this is a difference. Is we are CPT baby,
That's what this is, that CBT edition here. We're gonna
make sure this thing ends on time. I guess this

(07:18):
is the part where you know, I guess we're gonna
get ready to go to break. I'm it's clear right
around these parts that I am the co host and
when I'm giving the opportunity to grab the reins of
this show, I don't do a great job of that
because I like to sit back and let you know,
the man whose names on the show run this. But
this is tough job. He also wrote the show. I

(07:40):
didn't do anything with this. He wrote the whole show.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I'm just reading, so again, you're one still.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Anything somehow I even asked for the link because I
had these great things that I want to put in there,
and I just never got around to it, because, yeah,
have unhealthy relationship work just not around here.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Okay, yes, but you still have a word, right.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I do still have a word. So I guess, wait,
should I do the first word or should.

Speaker 5 (08:08):
You do the first your your we're still doing we're
still keeping okay, all right, do you have a word?

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, I have a word. I think I have a word.
Do you have a word?

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I have a word?

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Okay, so I think I do the I do the
first part of this, all right, So all right, we're
gonna do this. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be awesome.
That's gonna be wild. All right, so sit back and
grab some chips and then hold on. We butchered because
because you shouldn't. You shouldn't say yours first, and then.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I yes, this is how let's.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Radio is exactly. No one's list you.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
All right, So you're.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
You're gonna go first. You'll you'll go first, and then
I'll say it's blank time and then we'll go. So
all right, but I'm sorry, that's also on me. I
jumped the gun on this. Sorry, al right, here all right,
so sit back, grab some rentin. It's dumbass time you're

(09:16):
listening to the show, the only show, chim Chat CPT
version on belt with Rio behind sp all Right, welcome

(10:06):
back everybody. You are tuned into chip Chat. You know
again CPT edition. I am your co host. That's cosplay
as the host Tess along with me is Brian. Make
sure that this shit actually stays on track, at least
for the first hour. All right, then you know what

(10:26):
we do. We know how we kick this off. We're
gonna jump right into the headlines. So without further ado,
I will excuse me, kick off the first one. You know,
we'll see where this lends is. We'll see what I'm
reading for the first time that chip is written for me.
All right, okay, so first headline, Uh Pete, heik sef
we just mentioned called all flag officers, generals and admirals

(10:48):
to Quantico down there in Virginia for a meeting and
to make them watch him do cake stands. Obviously you
know he's a man of many tricks.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yes, love that part. At the uthering officially described as
this could have been an email, uh pickle, Pete told
the generals that the lack of hazing, what's what was
making the military soft and then forced them all to
do shots every time he cussed.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
So this feels like that, you know what they should
have called in for that, Richie incognitum, clearly who they needed.
He can tell you somebody. Oh god, that was a
fun time in the NFL when back when I was
still watching, that was such a long time ago. The
Defense Secretary, who himself is under ig investigation for chatting

(11:38):
classified war plans to reporters, announced that the whistleblower protections
would be weakened. And we all know this is because
he texts chip before. So that's again we have a
full on source there, Chipgate next to signal gate. So
there it is.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, a little chipgate about the gone will now be
conducting polygraph tests and forcing staff to sign NDA's to
prevent leaks. Signal chats from a sect death himself are
still fine.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, that's quite all right. Yes, send he sent things
to the good the good guy Jeffrey Goldberg at the Atlantic.
Then you know, yeah, it's perfectly all right. The meeting
was planned without forty seven Trump's inclusion, but when Trump
heard he'd have a captive audience to ramble to he
couldn't resist stopping PI one things to say. What did

(12:33):
he say?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
But nothing? But he said this. Trump did did a
tight five on the N word. But since Pickle Pede
had fired all the black genitals, it was fine.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Uh, it's quite if you do watch any of this right,
which I don't really recommend, But there is this part
where he's talking about the N words and this is
two works that you can't we don't want to use. Well,
first he says there's one, and he really says, he's like,
there's two. You know, we don't want to use either

(13:10):
of them. I don't want to use either of those.
Get in trouble when you use those. But you have
the newer ones. They have them. It was like new
nd words. Who are getting them from? Sorry? I know
you're getting them from We always get him from sorry.
Of course, the big story this week was the number

(13:32):
of mass shootings over the weekend, including one that involved
uh burning a church to the ground. So the president
took the opportunity to tweet AI slap about something called
med bed crazy bed.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I'll speaking more about AI. The budget negotiation to keep
the government open fail when Hakeem Jeffries. Ai sombrero fell off.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Of course, right, It's like if the state trooper comes
to talk to you about that hat doesn't matter. Negotiations
are off.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
I'm off.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
You can't can't do anything. You need your whole suit. Seriously,
Trump has been tweeting so much AI garbage. It's a
wonder uh. He and Elon broke.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
Up, so.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
It's me. It's still It's kind of like, was it
Ross and Rachel. You gotta figure it out, come back
together for some weird reason.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
I mean, some might say it's a crock of ship.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah. Well, speaking of more Bond villains, you know, we
just mentioned Elon now, who came to visit Trump at
the White House to promote yet another way to bomb Gaza,
which is again.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Sad laugh at that one there, but yeah, but yes
it is. It's true the federal government has shut down again,
but in case you're wondering, someone will still be feeding
frozen mice.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
And got.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Another. Other things impacted by the shutdown include the popular
cameras at the zoo that let you watch the animals.
The good News the couch camp will still be for
JD bands.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
That Speaking of j D himself, Jed E. Vance Trump
announced new terrace on furniture. There's no punchline, There's none.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
There's none.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Incidentally, while the D O D whistleblower hotlines have been disconnected,
a nonprofit has set up a new one for couches
and football trophies who may have been abused. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Yeah, he's beating this one in the ground, you know.
Chicago born Pope Leo commented this week on US immigration,
saying that inhumane treatment of migrants is not a pro life,
also noting that Caleb Williams better learning to get rid
of the ball quicker because there's even a prayer hope
of beating green face full on, full on shy town.

(16:17):
Is that?

Speaker 1 (16:18):
You know? Vadovia held an election and overwhelmingly voted for
the pro European Party. And this piece of news brought
to you by Americans for a Smarter America.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Oh this is sad. Jane Goodall passed away after a
lifetime of loving chimpanzees, but not in the way that
Rush Limbaugh allegedly loves chimp or that lady who's infamously
known for he's hitting my friend's face, which you could
just put chimp eating my friend's face in whatever you choose, Chadji,

(16:58):
google and you will find that video. Know, I think
the police officers shot that monkey, which sounds crazy because
it feels like people say that for other things in
this country.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Anyway, Sorry, but here's something crazy. Here's something crazy. The
NFL announced that Bad Bunny would be the star of
the super Bowl halftime show, causing sales of Oakley's to
skyrocket as overweight middle aged men flooded social media with
their outrage.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
Clear middle aged Yes, I mean you know, it's it's
a it's an honored tradition at this point, uh, since
uh jay Z and Rock Nation have taken over the
super Bowl halftime along with Apple Music of them picking
people and white folks just being completely upset about this.

(17:48):
It's just it's now tradition.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
True. Well, yeah, the funny thing especially since well, the
two that were kind of in the in the I
would say the race was Taylor Swift and Adele and
pretty much once they felt like, oh the paycheck is nothing.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Deuce is so yeah, and they don't need what the
actual paycheck is, which is bad, buddy, But I mean, yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
And the last thing I want to see is Taylor
Swift Yo, think about this. If the Chiefs get to
THEA and she has to get out of her damn
you know, presidential suite to come down to Holt times,
I say, hell, no, I don't need this.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
No, I thought I saw somewhere. I haven't cross checked
this or confirmed, but I think bad Bundy has a
show earlier that day in South America somewhere. Yeah, so
we'll say, obviously the selection of bad Bundy makes sense.
Is the NFL is trying to grow in Latin communities
and around the world. Growing a customer base is what
conservatives now refer to as a legal immigration. You know,

(18:54):
that's what it is.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Interesting. We got some weather news here though, in Belda
and Humberto past the coast of the Carolina is spying
South Florida for taking another whooping at the hands of
the hurricane.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
That's a good way, ye know, Jammelda and Humberto passed
the coast of the Carolina's ice. What you're doing, man,
I know you.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Can't grab a guy with throwing sandwich, can kids from.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Her resting on your laurels. I don't think is past
anywhere right now that Humberto is you can't, don't pass go,
you go straight to jail. No due process and a
surprise upset Uva made a CC football briefly watchable again.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, some upsets are there, briefly. Well, it's more football here.
Liverpool have lost in Europe and to Crystal Palace, adding
evidence to the theory of the curse of cash Patel exactly.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
He curses many things. It's is many things, all right,
and we'll round it out like this. Baseball playoffs started
up and has included some exciting moments, like when Ice
supported the entire San Diego Padres. I thought it for him.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah. I saw the last uh that last part of
the ninth ending where the Padres had a chance. They
had a chance, but you know, things weren't going their way.
So I guess the Slam Slam Diego will be ending
this year.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
So that will be ending, you know. And that's before
we wrap on that. Just the baseball news. Would you
say I heard this as well today? As would you
say that the Los Angeles and Angels are one of
the worst teams in the history of sports.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Because I would say, second, the Marlins are still bad.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Yeah, but I think the reason why I almost would
put uh the age the titles they're still bad to me? Yeah,
because see exactly. But that's the thing. I have two titles.
I think the Angels still go ahead is because this
is a team that had Mike Trout you show the time.
I believe maybe Pools might have been on the team
all at the same time and they were still bad

(21:08):
and didn't find a way to win.

Speaker 1 (21:10):
I mean, when you put all your money into two
players and the rest no pitching, like limited pitching, and
I'm gonna say limited is like I'm limited. You know,
you have nothing and then your infield is what Sarah scarce.
Even even if random playing or not, it's it was bad.

(21:32):
I mean, it's the only good thing for the Angels
is there? City connects Jersey. That's about it.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Yeah, that's pretty good. Yeah, that is pretty good. You know,
like you spent all that money from Rendon. He gave
us life the Christ. Yeah, it's okay, that's all right
judging here, we don't judge. Yeah, that's the headlines.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
So we got through.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
I'm looking at that clock. Man, We're looking good, man,
were looking good on time, it's looking great. Good night's
sleep to night. Uh, that's the headline. So I guess
we'll take a break.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Yes, well this break like like you know, Chip, and
you always fear that I have something and I do so,
so this is this is not musical. This is burbage
with some musical interlude to it. So I hope you
enjoyed it kind of. There was another little headline story
that was revealed this week so or while we were away,

(22:25):
So do enjoy. This is chipchat on Belwigh Radio and
beyond and also the Rip Radio.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Yeah we're syndicated over there.

Speaker 7 (22:33):
Yeah, mister president, this is a photograph of the alien.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
From the movie Alien. This is what you could end
up looking like if you eat some of the raw
frozen shrimp being sent to the United States by other countries. Now,

(23:07):
let me tell you what I'm talking about. In late August,
the FDA found that raw frozen shrimp from Indonesia was
being sold in Walmart, specifically in Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas,

(23:45):
and West Virginia. It was being sold under the Walmart
label called the Great Value Lator.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
If you eat it Why could you?

Speaker 2 (23:58):
How could you end up king Mike, the alien and
the alien? Because the shrunk was radioactive? I kid you not.
It had a radioactive isotope in it called sessium one
thirty seven. It'll kill you even if it doesn't turn

(24:22):
you into the alien. If you eat this stuff, I
guarantee you'll grow an extra year. Oh no, not again.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
Hello, my baby, Hello, my honey, Hello, my rack. I God,
send me a kissed my water. Baby, my heart's on fire.

Speaker 8 (25:00):
If you refuse me, honey, you lose me, then you'll
be left alone, old baby, and.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Tell me.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Check. Please. Welcome back to ladies and gentlemen. I am
your co host filling in for Jip today. He has
the host tends alone with my good buddy Brian. That
was real job.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
When I saw this on again, I scroll through social
media and stuff like that, and I end up seeing
this story and I caught it like the middle of
it though, because I'm trying to figure It's like he's
talking about shrimp, but he has a poster of the
baby Zeno morph in the back. I'm like, what the
hell is he talking about? And here the whole thing

(25:56):
and I'm like okay, and again. You're you're naming Walmart again?
Walmart is? I never shop at Walmart for food anyway.
I don't know why anyone does.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Well, I will I know why people do, because some
people live in food deserts. That's the only fresh, fresh,
fresh produce that they probably can get. But yes, I am,
I'm the snob too, doesn't shop there for food? Yeah,
but no, it is. I just love what he mentions

(26:28):
the Walmart brand great value, the way he says it
like great value. And I also love people in the
sound saying missour. That's another piece. But yeah, that's that's
a real that's a real story. There is a real
on shrimp that specific.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
And it's all and it's all surprising enough. It's all
in the Red States, and they're all freaked out and
he can't get their decent fresh shrimp from Walmart. So
it's instead of like, hey, why not go to a
decent especially like those in the Bible Belt. You know,
you're the Gulf of America as they want to call it. Now,
you can get some fresh sump out there, can't you.

(27:06):
I mean, I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
You would think not the prices, they none of the prices,
but the way wages are keeping up with inflation. There
you gotta go to Walmart and get the great value.
It's interesting. I read a book. I probably had it
on the show before while I was reading in the studio.
It's called A Secret Life of Groceries, and they talk
about how I forgot the person who figured this out.
But basically, and I'm probably getting some of this wrong

(27:28):
so we can fact check this, but the gist of
it is true that they found out by rubbing out
the eyes of baby shrimps and something around there, like
if you rub out the eyes earlier, they basically become
like more fertile, and you can, like in shrimp farms,
you can read more of them. But yes, it's a
very weird shrimp best that I just have sitting in

(27:51):
my Miada after reading this crazy book called the Secret
Life and Groceries.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Anyway, and if you didn't hear to catch the tail
end of the at it was a very funny clip
from Spaceball's Yes, pretty much the it's the dancing baby xenomorph,
you know, walking through across the diner there and pretty enough,
pretty enough behold. Spaceball two is currently in production right now,

(28:17):
so I'm looking forward to that it's been almost almost
forty years, so it's uh so, this is that's why
I put mess them together because it kind of works
so so and speaking of it since you know, since
mister Kennedy was talking at Congress, he can't do that
anymore because everything shut down.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Okay, I want to get back to about the shrimp.
The things that are working. Okay, something that it's called.
I stop abolation is what it's called. Yeah, whether the
removal of one unilateral both bilateral eyestalks from crustaceans routinely
practice on female shrimps or female proms in almost every

(28:59):
marine strip uh maturational reproduction facility in the world, both
research and commercial. The aim of abolation under these circumstances
is to stimulate female shrimp to develop mature ovaries and spawn.
The practice is drawing criticism from animal wealthare advocates due
to concerns about paying distress and long term impacts on
shrimp health and behavior. I just had to double check

(29:21):
that to make sure that I wasn't giving any fake news.
But I did read it on the internet, so it
can still be incorrect. Ah. Well, that I guess we'll
talk about the shutdown.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Yeah, so you know, with us.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
To live here in the great, great capital that we
have here in Washington, d C. Yeah, the federal government
controls a lot of stuff around here and provides a
lot of jobs for folks obviously here and around the country.
And the government has to agree right to get appropriations

(29:55):
and spending budgets for people to continue to get paid.
And that didn't happen. So the Trump administration began to
exit its power over the government. Shut down shut down Wednesday,
obviously blaming the Democrats for imminent layoffs of federal workers,
even though they're the ones who talked about doing this. Anyways.
They're tying infrastructure projects in blue states. Most I've heard

(30:18):
of New York City lost out on a lot of
obviously infrastructure and the millions, billions of dollars. They're posting
parties and messages, messages on government websites that deflect and
blame the stoppage in crucial federal services. Right, most government
functions were halted after funding ran out. I'm say, last
night of midnight, uh in Congress deadlocked over how to

(30:40):
extend spending laws. Vice President jd. Vance Senate officials were
on a couch figguring this out. I'm saying we're going
to have to lay some people off, bringing prolonged shutdown
prioritize funding and essential services through UH though the size
of the federal workforce is unrelated to the country's financial
health during a lapse in fund right, doesn't matter A

(31:04):
Senate Democrats on Tuesday blocked the Republican bill that would
have extended the federal resources for seven weeks. Republicans in
the Chamber blocked the Democratic bill that would have done
the same while also extending subsidies for health insurance coverage.
That's a good thing. The GOP bill failed again on Wednesday.
Vote Congress will be off on Thursday, similar to chip
for Young Kapoor, the Jewish day of Atonement. The two

(31:29):
sides in the White House have dug in Donald Trump quote.
Donald Trump and the Republicans have barrowed us into a
shutdown because they refused to protect the Americans healthcare. Senate
Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said, the Democrat from New York
on the floor of the Chamber, Van speaking from the
White House and Press Briefing room, shot back that Democrats

(31:49):
were holding the government services quote hostage to achieve unrelated
policy goals, which he falsely said mostly centered on providing
health care to undocumented immigrants that it's not true who
are ineligible for federal benefits, but he and the GOP
lawmakers did indicate that they would be willing to talk
about extending affordable care accesubsidies set to expire at the

(32:10):
years and if the government was funded. Quote, let's fix
America's problems. Let's work together to solve them, but let's
reopen the government before we have on the negotiation negotiations
about health care policy, Van said on Wednesday, God, this
is always an interesting one. I mean, the government, the
government shutdowns are are really bad, right, And the folks

(32:36):
who get paid are the ones who don't really need
the money because they're usually trading stocks that we haven't
been able to and then figure that out. But yeah,
it's the it's Congress, right, Senate and the House. Uh,
the House members continue to get paid. But if you
think about the staffers, who the people who are most
likely live and check the check, they don't get paid.
The custodians in the Capitol and around the government don't

(32:56):
get paid. National park services. I would assume this is
closed right, And that's closed right. Yeah, So there's a lot,
there's a lot of harm that ends up happening. I
do know that some of the folks are paid on month.
I want to say some folks in Congress are paid monthly,
so some folks might get a check but then not

(33:18):
get anyone over the next like again thirty days. Yeah,
and this is just playing with people's money, right, And
I think it's very unpopular. But I do think that
the Democrats had no choice but to do this because
we saw the blowback when they rubber stamped this earlier

(33:40):
this year. And I think Chuck Schumer learned from that
mistake and Hucking Jeffers as well, and they learn from
that mistake, and they they're willing to kind of go
to fight because this is the only recourse I think
that the Democrats have to push back against the Trump administration.
And here's the thing. Well, let's say they just they

(34:01):
went ahead and funded the government. The Republicans like they
control the House, the Senate, and the white ones, so
then no matter what falls on them, it does fall
on them. Yeah, And I think this is the only
lever that they have to kind of push back. And
I think. I think hopefully the Democratic base will look

(34:24):
at this and uh and see this is them fighting.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
I don't know what this looks like going forward and
where the negotiations end up happening. I think gods are yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
No, I just I look at it like how you see.
It's like, yes, this is the best option, you know,
and unless in a viewing image, point, yeah, this is
the best way for the Democrats to fight because everyone's
been saying, oh, Democrats aren't doing anything, and it's like, no,
this is this is what they're doing. They're there. And
especially when it comes to the Affordable Care Act or

(34:59):
whatever you want to call it about, you know, the
famous word Obamacare, They're they've been trying to keep that
for since day one because that was one of the
things that Trump has wanted to get rid of, even
in his first administration. So I feel was like, yes,
this is this is the you know, right now, the

(35:22):
best option right now. Unfortunately, though we know how the
stalemate goes. We went through this last time. Again, it's
been everyone since seven years or six years whatever it
was Trump's last administration. That was thirty five days it
in Like I said, I know that Yeah, it was bad,
and it was like, I know, people personally work for

(35:45):
the federal government and they you know, either they again
furloughed paid later, you know, way later. And you think
about it, Yeah, you think about the federal employees, You
think about the the you know, the parks and all
that stuff. But here's the thing that a lot of

(36:07):
people forget right now because they're roaming around d C
right now, our military, our National Guard, they're not going
to get paid. They're, like I said last like last time,
we've talked about them growing in the streets of DC
and I've told you all, I've seen their faces. They

(36:28):
are bored as shit. And now it's like we're walking
these streets of DC knowing for what we're in getting
our two weeks that is makes no sense. And I
feel like, you know, now again, I'm not blaming the
Democrats for this. This is the Republicans and Donald Trump

(36:49):
and that's stupid whatever crazy stuff that's in that bill
that is preventing them to say, hey, we want to
take out the Medicare stuff, and it's like no. And
I think that's where I feel like the stronghold the
Democrats are doing is this it's like we had we're
gonna shut this down. I know it's gonna hurt a
lot of people, you know, but in the end, it's like, yeah,

(37:11):
we we're gonna you want to make sure that all
Americans get decent, affordable health care and and and if
that is the one thing that everyone's forgetting the fact
it's like everyone every if you even when Trump was
doing your firing federal workers and all that stuff, a
lot of people were still saying about my my medical

(37:32):
bills is going to increase, my pills are going to
be increased, and all that stuff. And now you're going
to try, you know, whatever you're doing to put more
money into the military, which I hear is trying to
heat during that crazy speech where we're talking about with
the generals, say is he gonna put in like almost
a trillion dollars into there? And again it's like again
the military has said this many times, we're good, but

(37:54):
you want to put overfund them again. So you kind
of wonder, it's like, where's the money going to be
taken out of them? Oh, they're gonna take it out
of here. Nope, we're not doing that because America cannot
find it in this day and age, cannot afford medicare,
cannot afford any type of medical services because of the
fact that you know, again the hospitals nowadays is in America.

(38:19):
Now I'm not saying the rest of the world, but
in America mainly it's a profit thing. Yeah, and it's unfortunate.
And I have a friend who I just the early today.
I saw she posted something she has this you know, dual,
you know, very severe medical conditions, like two things are
happening to her at the same time, and she's crying

(38:40):
out to go fund me, and it's and it shouldn't
be happening that way. I mean, honestly, it's like, you know,
I've been to countries where you know, medicare is free,
walk in, get what you need done, and walk out,
don't pay a bill because the sample practice is like
the country got you right here. It's just like this,

(39:02):
you know, mind you it's oh, it's capitalism, It's it's
the way of the world. And it's like hospitals should
never be thinking that way at all. But somehow, I
mean I'm seeing, you know, every medical show you watch,
there's always that weird administrator who's trying to find a
way to profit something out of out of medical pain.
And that's the same thing what the Republicans are doing here.

(39:24):
They're trying to profit something out of medical pain, and
an unfunctionate thing is is like you're always looking to
try and find a buck and it's like through this
it doesn't make sense to me. And like I said,
there are a lot of people be something through the shutdown.
And again, do not blame the Democrats for this. The
Democrats are doing everything to keep everybody working, and they
want to sit down at the table and with with

(39:46):
get the Republicans. But unfortunately, you know, you know mister
you know porn b hub Johnson back to it out
and and you know, say, no, we're talking to you.
And it's like, dude, you're stupid because you know again
because knowing for well, you're getting paid and everybody else
is it.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
So no, I think there's a few things there. I
mean one even what they're trying to claw back are
things that are subsidies that have already been Like they're
trying to reverse things cuts that have already happened to Medicaid.
So it's not even like like and I guess it
gets spun as like I heard it today, it was like, oh,
this is the first time where it's like they're trying

(40:27):
to add spending, but spend I think they're trying to
add spending back. I think to the having a healthy
society is just advantageous for a healthy economy, right, And
it's weird when they can't really square that circle and
see that. And I think the other piece is that

(40:48):
it's a lot of Trump's base. I think who use
these services, right is Dave Chappelle might say the poor whites, right,
like it's uh, it's yeah. So it's kind of like
where who it's actually hurting? Right? And even Obamacare an
affordable care actor, right, a lot of folks, like you
know people people will say, I don't want the government
my business, but keep the hands off my Medicare and Medicaid.

(41:11):
It's like wait what, hold on, wait, but you do
want them in your business now? I mean again, the
problem is that it's gonna hurt I would. I don't
know what's the over under on this going longer than
thirty five days. I don't know that's that's a really

(41:31):
good one. I think it probably comes under hopefully. And
I think the one thing that sets up for Donald
Trump is for him to kind of go and make
a grand bargain or a grand deal. And I do
think I think that still drives him. I think he
likes I think he just likes that the ability to
say I made a deal. And I don't know what

(41:52):
that deal looks like. But I do think he caves
eventually because I know a lot of folks will think
of it. Terms gonna happen next year. But I don't
think this is good for them, for the Republicans going
into the midterms next year, and they have a variety
of things that's not good for them, whether it's cost rising,
whether it's the tariffs finally starting to creep into the economy. Yeah,

(42:15):
and it's just it's just not good for them. But
I think staying on this the same kind of shutdown,
I guess road here vices. President JD. Vance on Wednesday
was downplaying criticism over the shake video of Democrat lawmakers.
Lawmakers of the president posted online, saying the depiction of

(42:38):
one party leader in the sombrero, as you mentioned earlier,
and another seeming to deliver profendly. Layson Tyrade was quote funny.
President Donald Trump posted an AI generated video with the
help of Brian and failed effort to avert a government shutdown,
charging the party leaders with wanting to provide, as we
mentioned earlier, undocumented immigrants with free healthcare. The post that

(43:01):
uh Donald Trump reposted featured House Minority leader Haking Jeffries
of New York, who is black and sombrero and mustas.

Speaker 2 (43:11):
On.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
You want to yea our audience, who's not who you know?
Who's watching online on radio? H well, maybe watching on
a lot of rip radio, but also in belt radio beyondes. Yeah,
they might want to see that. So let's take a look.
Let's take a look at this thing.

Speaker 9 (43:32):
Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because
of all of our woke trans bullshit. Not even black
people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us.
So we need new voters.

Speaker 10 (43:44):
And if we give all these illegal aliens free healthcare,
we might be able to get them on our side
so they can vote for us. They can't even speak English,
so they won't realize we're just a bunch of woke
pieces of ship, you know, at least for a while,
and they learn English and they realized they hate us.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Too book, guys. Okay, all right, that was that I
could tell that if it wasn't Donald Trump, it was
probably one of his probably his son used Kava to
edit that thing, because that was some weak ship. And again,

(44:26):
this this is this is this is our president, folks,
this is this is the president of the United States
who is trolling the country like this, being petty and
for what, I'm like, this is what you wanted. Seriously,
I know we're majority of us. You know, I'm probably
preaching to preaching to the choir, but honestly, those who

(44:50):
are you know, have either in the middle, you know,
has some doubts or maybe a full fledge you know,
baga hat, this is what you wanted. Boon who rather
reposts a whole bunch of you know, little clips like
that on a consistent basis. Again, too too hard, you know,
to say, hey, look at us, we're being strong. This

(45:11):
is what helps what make America ray again. And I'm like,
oh god.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
I mean it. King Jeffries on Tuesday told reporters, right,
what really what this video was? Quote racist and fake
and big a tree will get you nowhere. I would
kind of beg the different game. I think bigger tree
gets people a lot of places. But he was just
saying they pressed jd vance right around, like the criticians

(45:38):
response to criticism on this, and he framed this ship
as like a good nature, like like comedy, right, you
could quote him. I mean the King Jeffrey said it
was racist, and I know that he said that, and honestly,
I don't even know what that means, Like, is he
a Mexican American that's offended by having a sombrero? Meme?
Van said, uh, quote the American people recognize that he

(46:01):
did not actually come to the White House wearing a
sombrero and a black curly animation mustache. I again, I
think he's I don't know if that's the case. Man,
I don't know if there are a few people who
do believe that. I mean, you shouldn't, right because it's
a shitty AI job, But I do think people might
believe that, and this stuff will continue to get better.

(46:23):
And I do think that the President of the United
States start and you know, he he's he's he's smart
in a sense where he likes to retweet these things
a retruth from whatever the doing these things.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
Truth retruth is crazy. I'm gonna retruth it. But yeah,
he does that. So he came to kids, He's like, yo,
I just right, just the button. I didn't post it,
so kind of like it lets him kind of like
skirt on the outside of this. But I do think
this is dangerous.

Speaker 3 (46:52):
Right, I do think the use of all of these
AI tools for these specific reasons in politics are dangerous
and there needs to be some type of regulation around that.
But anyways, that's not happening. They're gonna open up the
floodgates for these this ship. It will only get worse.
But yeah, I do think I think you gotta you
gotta kind of condemn this ship.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
Man.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
You can't really, you can't just let this get out
of the bag and and and say it's okay, because
it's not. And it is racist, right, It's clear as
day it's racist from the words to the caricatures that
it's just a racist thing. And it's not my highest
office in the land.

Speaker 1 (47:30):
So and if I you know, pun intended the thing
is is like only hockeing Jefferies was altered, Yes, only
hacking Jeffries. And we did during the last show with Charlie,
we mentioned the fact that you know, Trump had no
empathy for a lot of things. And then when when

(47:51):
he mentioned the fact that the you know, during his
press you know, press conference, I want to say press conference,
just an interview, he asked about Charlie Kirks at and
he pretty much kind of like said, I feel sad.
But then it ends up talking about the new bulling
out of it, like that's being happening in the White House.
I mean it's like you.

Speaker 3 (48:11):
Have Charlie Kirk. Yeah, I mean he came with Charlie
Kirk was able to do for him. But does he
care about Charlie Kirk? No?

Speaker 1 (48:20):
No, And this is where but what I'm getting to
the point is the empathy aspect of everything. And it clearly
is like jd. Vance is is following Trump's playbook of
no empathy, because it's like, dude, you know, for well,
this is stupid. One is dumb. It's flat out not
even funny, and you the only one laughing at it,
or Brady whatever, you know, the bass is laughing at this,

(48:43):
and honestly, it's like, dude, there's nothing really funny about this.
And and I think the fact is like, since you
guys do not care about anyone's sense of feelings, and
especially when it comes to race. Yeah, you're you're assholes
here all honesty.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
Yeah, I think the last part of this is what
is still very disturbing here. So at the end of
this year, shortly after the White House briefing ended, the
fake video of Jeffreys and Schumer played on a loop
via a video monitor inside the briefing room. Asked why
the White House was showcasing the video in that matter,
white House spokesman Abigail Jackson said, quote, the sombreros will

(49:24):
continue until the Democrats reopen the government. Like what the
fuck are we doing?

Speaker 7 (49:29):
Man?

Speaker 3 (49:29):
Like, it's just fucking insane, Like it's just not I mean,
it's it's it's just downright despicable. Yeah, I mean it's
a piece of shit, piece of shit.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
Of course they're again these people have they don't understand anything.
It bank mind, you did that is a joke. And
keep this in mind, and guess I'm gonna pull the
chip card. If you think about the days of Yo,
the hit or error whenever they see something that is
against the Jews or those are the those that is

(50:00):
not you know, pure, you know, garan nation type of thing.
They literally laughed at it. When you see something funny
and and and see you know, you know, see the
humor in that of of oppression and defeat and stuff
like that. That's how they see that. And and this
is again is it's in that fastiest playbook. It's sad

(50:23):
to say that because you want to follow a dumb ass,
fat back dictator, want to be dictator to the point
where it's like, yeah, well let's let's make humor at
some of the you know, those who are not like us.
I mean, it's it's it's it's ridiculous. And and again
this is a modern day. This is the current politics

(50:44):
of America right now. It's you're we're playing high school games,
you know, an adult with adult lives, and it's just
makes sense. Yeah, and I wonder if the.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
Like the horses out the bar, and I don't know
if we're catching it from here, Like I think this
will become normalized eventually. And I think that's what worries
me the most. Uh, that's you know, from it's a
very uh, somber tone to end on after we talk

(51:17):
about sombreros.

Speaker 1 (51:20):
But but again during our musical break, we have something
something uplifting.

Speaker 3 (51:25):
I see he made it the very AI heavy show.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
Yes, of course, you know, wait, very AI themed.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
Very AI themed, so there'll be more. So I assume
our next break will have some AI theme stuff in it.
Oh yeah, of course, of course it will well with that.
We won't hold anybody from that. We will get to
our break. You guys are tuned in to chip Chat
CPT edition, and we will check you guys out right

(51:57):
back after the break.

Speaker 6 (52:00):
Walls.

Speaker 11 (52:14):
The dopest mother fucker line, Lie, I've gotta be the
dopest mother fucker line.

Speaker 3 (52:28):

Speaker 4 (52:29):
Whoa, I'm so gray when I walked the whole earth shakes,
I'm like alien this prime Jordan jumping from the line.

Speaker 6 (52:41):
Get the Pentagon.

Speaker 4 (52:42):
I'm the fucking bar Oh, don't pretend, girl, don't pretend
you can feel it.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
In my presence.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
Being by my side's a blessing.

Speaker 6 (52:52):
I'm just dope.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
I'm great, walking out of my life the biggest mistake,
that's a fact.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Oh Oh.

Speaker 11 (53:14):
The dopest mother fucker line line, I.

Speaker 12 (53:24):
Gotta be the dopest mother line line.

Speaker 4 (53:43):
Rick Flair strolling, I'm so golden. Bey all can't be chosen, bitch,

Speaker 4 (55:26):
M h m hm h m h.

Speaker 2 (55:38):
M hm.

Speaker 3 (55:45):
Shout out to the dopes motherfucker Live. Ladies and gentlemen,
Welcome back to chip Chat CPT edition. I am your
co host cosplaying as those tess like right. I could
spend the rest of the show. I'm so looking at
the time, make sure we have the shit on time.

(56:06):
I can spend the rest of the show analyzing that
AI video. There's a few things there from one how
fit all those women inside. I'm assuming that's a red
M five. Maybe Beamer looks like it was he went
from having three chains to one chain at some point
during the walk. That's what happened there. There's a key

(56:27):
for all the hip hop fans in there. There's a
club like like to sign the bottle girls walk around
with with an infamous line from jay Z's song Imaginary
Players in My Lifetime Volume one, and it's like, what's
the difference between the four point zero and a four
point six? And that was the side that one was.

(56:50):
That's the one that got me because I was like,
that's slick. I like that because that's the Yeah, because
you know, the difference to the four point oh four
point six forty or fifty grand grand cocksucker beating. It's
to quote the twenty first century poet Sean Carter, no
I can analyze that fucking video all day long. Yeah yeah,

(57:10):
uh better than that's not better than my man who
slapped them.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
Yeah, So well again it's it's it's from AI for
the culture. So again they you know, they they've been
bringing out some you know, some great bangers for for
everybody should listen to. My My thing with the video
was again, like you said, you notice like the various
women's kept changing five ten seconds. You know, we had

(57:41):
some full on black women in the car. Next day,
you know, they are Latinas in the elevator and then
it's then it's a mixture in the hot tub and
yeah yeah, so it's like, okay, you I guess you
are the dopest dude. You can keep interchanging every ten seconds.
So and the thing is you only have three commns.

Speaker 3 (57:58):
Okay, I'm glad you got to that point. Anything with
three rubbers and I don't know if we're using it,
it's kind of nasty, you know what everybody? I guess,
uh baby, save sex no matter what doorse that here.
But yeah, twenty three twenty three rubbers.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
You know, it's like, you know, you get to go
get young with an order online, get a good you know,
twenty or thirty.

Speaker 3 (58:21):
Packs and costcos we're probably enough still open, you know,
get the Wu tang thirty six chambers. Uh uh anyways, uh,
moving right along, So we're gonna stay. We're gonna stay
in AI realm because that's the show is today. Along
with CPT, it's also a I have all the acronyms.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
We call this part no for for for lindaman Man
is A one.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
Did say that? She said A one.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
That's what she said, she said.

Speaker 3 (58:57):
Right at the Secretary over Education, right, yes, one, Hey,
you know, not a plus.

Speaker 1 (59:08):
At all.

Speaker 3 (59:10):
We're gonna call this same it's called bottle licks U
And I think I'm saying that right because we're trying
to do a bottle lists bottalytics. That's what it is.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
It means because the last when when I especially this
news story which I brought in because it reminds you
when you see these bots on our apps and stuff
like that, we know that it's like some random you know,
AI whatever, trying to inform with something. So but as
you read this story, U test let people know what's really.

Speaker 3 (59:44):
Going on, all right, And I just got I just
got a text from our overlords that we're doing a
great job somewhere watching hopefully laughing.

Speaker 1 (59:56):
All right.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
So for government officials being called ute heart, it is
an occupational hazard. But Albania has chosen to turn that
insult into a positive quality by appointing an AI minister,
and not a Minister for Artificial Intelligence. Rather, it's an
actual cabinet member who is literally the work of AI.

(01:00:20):
The new edition is like a pop star known simply
by the single name. Is it Dahlia? I think it's yeah,
I think it's Dahlia, right, something like that. Right. Prime
Minister Rama introduced her her as a member of his
new cabinet on Thursday, four months after securing his fourth

(01:00:40):
term in office, and May elections. However, the more some however,
this move. The move was symbolic rather than official, as
Albanian constitution insists that government ministers must be mentally competent
citizens aged at least eighteen, aged at least eighteen, and
we know Ai competent yet or yet alone a citizen. Still,

(01:01:04):
the advantages of appointing a bot over humans are obvious. Dahlia,
whose name means son in Albanian, is unlikely to be
the source of any unflattering leaks about the government. She
will only be power hungry in the sense of electricity
she consumes and water and a damaging expense, and a
damaging expense scandal would appear to be out of the

(01:01:26):
questions right exactly expenses. In fact, corruption was the utmost
in Rama's mind when he made a Delia part of
his team as Minister for Public Procurement. Her role will
be to ensure that Albania will become quote a country
where public tenders are one hundred percent free of corruption

(01:01:46):
and quote that's we're quote We're working with a brilliant
team which is not only Albanian but also international, to
come out with the first full AI model in public
procurement and quote the Prime Minister told the BBC, quote,
not only will we wipe out every potential influence on
public biddings, we will also make the process much faster,

(01:02:08):
much more efficient and totally accountable. Delia has already been
working in Albania even before the government quote unquote appointed her.
Her first incarnation was an AI powered virtual assistant guiding
applicants through the process to obtain official documents, which I
think sounds like a helpful use of AI, right. I
do think that's probably a bunch of documents, and AI
probably can start through that a little faster. Ramabosa Delia

(01:02:31):
has helped more than a million applications on the e
Albania platform, but his vision for AI government role is
a lot grander than the mere chatbot he's talked of,
quote leapfrogging bigger, more advanced countries which are still locked
into the traditional ways of working.

Speaker 4 (01:02:48):
I'm kind of.

Speaker 3 (01:02:49):
Okay with the traditional ways of working, even though the
traditional ways of working aren't working well right now. I
don't know we need any Hey, I hate uh r
f K Junior in his policies, but I think it'd
be a hell of a lot work actually maybe a
I might do drop uh talk that through it. I
feel a little bit different, yes, I but other godsly

(01:03:19):
optimistic U the founder of the financial services company Balkan's
Capital Uh and the uh. Those are some wild last names.
And I'm not just gonna say and D because I
can't pronounce the rest of them out baby name. Note
that Edie Rama quote often mixes reforms with theatrics, so
it's natural people wonder if the symbolism, but she says

(01:03:40):
AI minister could be constructive if it develops into a
real system that improves transparency and trump uh uh and
trust in public procurement. So I think a lot of
this is and I think you probably see this here
in this country as well too, when it comes to
people bidding on government contracts. I think that they're hoping
that this AI tool, as you put this bid online,

(01:04:01):
as it has been quoted in this article here, it
will kind of go through and like closely see if
a company meets the conditions in the criterias right, which
I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing, and they
say that there is a place where this could work.
I still worry though about like you're putt like using

(01:04:25):
artificial intelligence in this way, and I still think there's
a human element that needs to be part of this,
which I mean, if it roots out corruption in obtaining
government contracts, so be it. I mean that's a great thing.
But yeah, I do think I wonder about this. I
wouldn't say I'm the biggest fan of this. Yeah, I

(01:04:48):
would say if you ask me if I'm like a
half full or half empty on this tell.

Speaker 1 (01:04:54):
I know, Well, I don't know. Maybe it was AI video,
but when this was presented to the I don't know
what the Albay government would be or congresses, Parliament or parliament.
I saw the video, they were not too thrilled with us,

(01:05:15):
and like I said, again it could be AI generated.
I'm not fully sure because again it just seems like
they were like perturred by this. And I feel as
you're discussing how the this AI administrator or minister would
be presented, it seemed like if you know, sadly we

(01:05:37):
you know AOL has gone for the wayside, But if
you were those right, it had like this character that
would help you, like you know, help you, you know,
guide you to wherever you're going. I don't know if
it was a O L or maybe it was whatever
by gone, you know, search engine. But the boy is

(01:06:00):
is the fact that is like like I don't want
to be talking to Zion here. If any of those
who want to power Rangers, it's not Zion whatever. But yeah, yeah,

(01:06:20):
But the thing is the thing the point is is like, Okay,
everyone has issues when they talk to like some no one,
you know, when you're making those important calls to again,
like someone from the health industry and you're you're, you know,
doll one for this and do two for that, and
it's like, okay, now you're dealing with AI minister. I mean,

(01:06:43):
it's like, come on, I mean it, I don't know
who it's helping. I mean it to be abuse. The
fact that's like, okay, once again the powers that be,
actual human beings who got elected into office really doesn't
want to work right and and and pretty much it's
like that they'll put up this AI you know whatever

(01:07:06):
to say, hey, listen to this person. This guy's got
the algorithms or you know, to guide you to wherever
you need to go. You already had like a couple
of months ago that a judge got pissed off with
the AI lawyer and you know, so now you get this.
I mean it's it's one thing too an ai uh

(01:07:27):
robotic or what do you want to call it? Guide you,
you know, help you set your planning. I understand that.
You know a lot of people have issues, you know,
planning their day. That is the most maximum amount of
effort that they that thing needs to do. I do
not want an AI minister or an AI president kindly,
We've got one right now dating our lives yo, and

(01:07:51):
making policies. It's things of that nature. It doesn't make sense.
You need, like you said, human ideology in there, not
aion aology because it.

Speaker 3 (01:08:01):
Because that's alien taking.

Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
Yeah. So again they they're dictating how based off of
what did the numbers say? But it's all calculated by
by something else, and it's just like, look, the calculations
keep changing and it can be manipulated. So that's the
thing that a lot of people don't fully be aware
of that stuff. It's just like you know, a computer
can change because the the user it's changing it. Keep

(01:08:29):
in mind, folks, Tron it's coming out next week and
you used to see that ship. Everyone laughs at it
because there's a dumb everyone would say it's a dumb
Disney movie, but it's not. There's some actual reason points
of Tron and Tron legacy and when Tron areas come out,
there's a reason for this stuff, and a lot of
people should be a fear fear of that stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:08:48):
No, I agree, it's just cle shout out to Albania.

Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
Hopefully it goes well. I doubt it will. Moving along like, yeah,
it's moving on since I mentioned Tron right at Hollywood.

Speaker 3 (01:09:01):
H and then Amy goes to is what we're calling
this segment? Part of the segment here Hollywood has a
new hopeful by the name of Tilly Norwood, not a
human actor, but rather a synthetic creation made with you
guessed that everybody AI, the brunette with the Margot Robbie smile,
has so far made only brief public appearances and only

(01:09:22):
on social media. I think it's the only place you
can make so I don't know. See, it's unclear whether
the AI can perform scenes with other actors since it
since it only does monologues facing the camera in the clipse,
but Tilly Norwood's president has Actors in the Actors Union
said after and others concerned that this might be a
step towards for placing human talent. A quote. Tilly Norwood

(01:09:46):
is not an actual human performance. It is artificially intelligent
construct construct, said actor and sag Afterpet president Sean Aston
in an interview with NPR. On Tuesday, the Actors Union issued
a formal statement deming AI. Quote different people will try
to create new and interesting things, and it's an exciting environment,
but nothing will ever replace a human being. I think

(01:10:09):
that's a huge quote end quote. Aston said that under
the terms of sag After, his contract with the Hollywood
producer studios may not use synthetic performers without giving notice
and bargaining over terms. Many NPR employees are members of
sag afterra excuse me, but are under a different contract.
AI creations are often timeed as being less expensive and

(01:10:29):
they seem more and more human life. However, human actors
like Oscar winners Arianne Debos have been coming to their
own events. In their quote, the artistry and dedication and
real lift human experience of sag After performers is what
has fueled the motion picture industry for more than a
century end quote. The both said and a statement quote

(01:10:52):
Synthetic performers on the other hand, are created using technology
that is only as effective as the content it is
trained on. This technology never create anything original, and it's
technology that minds from the work of human creatives were
out consent or pay end quote. I think this is
probably the part of AI where I feel maybe the

(01:11:14):
most passionate about is when it does come to the
art humanities and like human creations. I just think that
there's no room for this. If we think back to right,
the strike that happened in Hollywood, I guess we're coming
up on two years now. I feel like studios, Yeah,
this is what they were worried about, right. They were

(01:11:34):
seeing around corners and they were trying to prevent the
studios from thinking, Right, let's just use Law and Order. Right,
that has a million episodes, right. And it's also probably
the reason why everybody thinks that we live in a
less safer time now than we did fifteen years ago,
because fucking dick Wolf has everybody fucking afraid that this

(01:11:58):
crazy shit is happening very safe time. I know I
sound crazy saying that, but if you take something like
Law and Order that has a ton of episodes, you
could feed all of the episodes of SVU into AI,
and I would assume that it would push out. It
could push out another episode, right, it could create one, right.

(01:12:19):
But again, as as mentioned that quote, it's using the talent, right,
and the hard work, the sweat equity of real humans.
And I think there's always gonna be a push on that.
And I think the one thing that we might get
out of AI as it gets here, right, it's here.
We hear it every day. You hear it in the commercials,

(01:12:40):
whether it's on TV and your podcast. Every company is
talking about AI. But I think what will end up
getting to is there'll be some nostalgia for what humans
only can create. And I think that that will actually
end up being it will cost a premium to get that,

(01:13:00):
which maybe works out because AI will make certain things cheaper, right,
and people will be able to make things and create
things at a cheaper costs. But I do think when
it comes to like the human element, right, someone actually
making you a painting, right, or someone writing or scribing,
I think there will be another market that opens up
for that because humans will will pine for human created,

(01:13:27):
human created objects or are I think that's something that
will end up getting back to. So I'm hoping that
that happens.

Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
Sure, I'm gonna get go back about the fear factor
and where we get the actors being upset, because remember
roughly about twenty years ago, twenty post years ago, when
the Final Fantasy movie came out, a lot of people

(01:13:57):
were having issues and putting fear of the fact of
because it was all computer animated you know, characters. And
I remember the fact that how the news media took
it at staying and like, oh, they're they may be
taking over the replacement of actual real actors, and it

(01:14:17):
was like, well, they still had voice actors, you know
these you know mind you Yeah, this is all computer animated.
And at that time frame, you know, it was like
then the state of the art because no one is
mostly all the you know, animated stuff. It was more
cartoonish and everything. So seeing three dimensional computer animation is like, oh,

(01:14:42):
this is highly upscale and you know and all that stuff.
So but I do remember that that particular time, a
lot of people put that fear into the fact that's like, hey,
they may be relacing actors. Be aware of that, blah
blah blah. And it's like, well, in a way, it
didn't the way and it didn't. It kind of just
helped the computer industry, you know, the career of gaming industry.
It gave a lot of the you know, actors who

(01:15:04):
do a lot of either voice work or even actual
actors to do some voice work, gave jobs there. This
year I think really increases the impact of being fearful
because you're now replacing everything. You're not just replacing the actor,

(01:15:25):
you are replacing the camera crew, you are replacing the
the staging. You were replacing the director. Do you really
don't need a director? You just need someone to type
this up, put it through a computer, and you're done.
And I think that's where, you know, for the studios, yeah,

(01:15:48):
you know, for them, it's like we can and save
a buck, and they're always gonna be coxantly saving a
buck because I always had an issue with reality television.
When reality television is has been boomed for now over
thirty years, and for the TV networks, they're always looking
for something to save a buck, and that's why they
have a lot of these channels have these stupid reality shows.

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
It's super cheap to produce, it's super cheap to produce.

Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
You the the the people that are on there, they're
there for less than I would say, ten thousand dollars
a day or you know, I don't know how much
whatever their payment is, but they're they're barely you know,
they're not paying like you're not paying uh like like
going back to friends, you you know, because they each
one of them had almost a double digit million dollar

(01:16:35):
contract before they left there. So my viewpoint is is
the fact that you know, that's where the studio, that's
where I feel like, you know, Sean Aston, who was
newly elected as the president of the the SAG Corporate SAG,
I get it because it to me, it's it's like, look,

(01:16:56):
you're not only you start with the actors. Yeah, you're
taking away actors, but then again everybody else, you know,
you know, mind you the actors are the only people
we constantly see when it comes to a production. But
I'm a guy who works behind the scenes, right and
I can see a lot of people losing jobs, and

(01:17:17):
the only person who's not going to lose a job
is or probably the writer. For now. For now, if you,
if you, if you fully implement into this now, mind you,
if this happens like maybe one hundred or two hundred
years from now, it will be mute. But then again,
I think, but then again, like you said, a lot
of people crave real, real emotion and getting an animated emotion,

(01:17:43):
you know, based off of what was written on something,
it will come out fake. I've seen, I've seen story,
mind you, there's even the real stories that we see
on television. It seems fake half the time because some
of the actors are not fully believable. You know. But
if you month this and at like in an early
early age, and a lot of people get comfortable with

(01:18:04):
it and all that happened, and it's just slowly seeps
in and it's like it seems like it's all naturalal
which I do not agree with. You have to have
the realism, you know, mind you. I I like you know,
like I said, you see me with Joan Luke Pacaud.
Even though they're you know, when they do the Star Trek,
they do have actual actors come in to their to

(01:18:26):
their uh ship and act up certain things. I remember
certain episodes of Star Trek and the Next Generation they
had actors performing something because again they want the realism
of seeing people acting out a certain play, you know,
I mean Wharf saying it's like you don't know Hamlet
until you see it in Cling On. I mean it's
it's like, that's what they say, and because again, you

(01:18:48):
you want the real passion from real people performing for
you instead of a generated thing that just someone just
typed up and say act smart, and they'll act smart
based off of how how the algorithms go. And it's
kind of unfortanate. It's it's again. But the main thing
here is it's like it's a lot of saving money
for the studios in which are always constantly looking for

(01:19:11):
and it's like, dude, you're making money. You got to
spend money to make money. That's how this business has been.
But for whatever reason, it's always those stupid executives who
who are hungry to get keeping more money in their pockets.
And it figured it's like this will be the cheapest
way to do it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
Yeah, I mean, just to your point earlier, I think
I was just looking up and I think there's somewhere
around there. I think Friends cost somewhere close to produce
ten like with ten million dollars. I think it's something
close like that, like ten million dollars an episode like
for that to produce, where something like Love Island, I
think it's total budget was thirty million, So I just
hear paus and.

Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
Mind you, the thing is this is like they don't
want to pay actors. That's that's there. That's the key
thing when it comes to executives is is like when
the actors when the show is getting increasingly popular, so
are the and the actors figure us like, hey, we're
banking you a lot of money. If we're the top
tier show on this network, we deserve that type of money.

(01:20:10):
Mind you, Cosby never did that. Let's keep that in mind,
especially the seven years that they were on but for friends,
and especially when the times have change, it kind of
warranted that because they were the top tier show for
those ten years, even though I think five and were okay,
But you kind of want to say it's like, hey,

(01:20:31):
if we're the number one show, you need to pay
us like that. And especially at that time where it
was still up to their four networks, Cable was still
a teenager. So I mean again, you kind of figured
us like, hey, you kind of want to pay us
now now since there's a plethora of cable you know,
cable channels and the streaming channels and all that stuff.

(01:20:54):
The networks are always having it is having a hard
time trying to maintain their way, whatever status quo is.
To benefit their cells and their executives and their shareholders.
They say, hey, we want to give you these boom
both big bonus checks. But again again it's like the
production cost is going to this show, this tho, this show,
this doo is this show. And that's why I feel like,

(01:21:16):
you know, they figured it's like, well, if we had
an AI show, oh, this will be great. But the
thing is, it's like if you look at Fox, let's
say a perfect example, it's been Fox. Majority of their
programming is animated. That's why you know animated Sunday. Yeah,
it's all that, and whynd you to have the football? Yeah,

(01:21:36):
they'll have certain shows here and there, but really it's
like there's some big show. Their big week is Sunday
and it is the honestly, compared to any other network,
that is the most affordable show out there combined, I
believe is less than one hundred million. I mean it,
and it again, and most of those shows have been

(01:21:59):
on for You got Simpsons going on for almost thirty
five years or more. You got you know, a family
Guy going over twenty yeah, yeah, bos Berger's almost fifteen whatever,
it's it's in most of these shows again, they're you know,
they have the humor, which is I understand. But the
thing is, it's like, to me, I like a story,

(01:22:20):
if you're gonna lengthen the story, especially with these characters,
I just feel like it's kind of dragging on and
I and I felt like it's like it's tie time
we start bringing back some real people coming in and
giving a real experiencing a real character once once in
a while.

Speaker 3 (01:22:40):
That's just me.

Speaker 1 (01:22:41):
But if you want to stay on the cheap, go
right ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
Yeah, I think you've hit it on the head and
we can leave it here. Is that it does come
down to what the consumers will eventually, what they'll what
their palette is going to be like, what it will
be acceptable for their palette. And if it gets to
a point where the do accept this AI generated content,
which I think consumers will will rebuke.

Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
I don't think. I don't.

Speaker 3 (01:23:07):
It might get good enough to get there, but I
just think they will rebuke it because from what I've seen,
usually AI kind of produces the same thing over and
over again and use the case like it doesn't really
it doesn't deviate. There's no creativity in it. And I
think the customers will rebuke that. But if they don't,

(01:23:29):
I think we can be in a world of trouble
because then they will be like, well, we're fine with that,
as you mentioned, and they'll just go with it, right,
they won't care. All right, all right, We're not gonna
take a break. We're gonna move on because we're behind time.
We're not gonna end at eleven o'clock here, but AI

(01:23:49):
but we excuse me. What we will move into is
Trump's court losses, right, So we'll start here first with
the first Amendment. Other Trump administration pushed earlier this year
to arrest and port international students for their pro Palestinian
activism that it was illegal. A federal judge rule tuesday,
calling the crackdown a quote truly scandalous and unconstitutional suppression

(01:24:13):
of free speech. In a sweeping rebuke, US District Judge
William Young and Boston said that the Department of Homeland
Security and the State Department targeted non citizens for quote
quote for speaking out end quote, with the goal of
tamping down pro Palestinian student protests and terrorizing similarly situated students. Quote.

(01:24:36):
We are not and we must not become a nation
that imprisons deports people because we are afraid of what
they have to tell us, Young wrote, Young, who's appointed
by the federal appointed to the federal bench by President
Ronald Reagan, described the case as quote perhaps the most
important ever to fall within the jurisdiction of this District

(01:24:57):
Court court end quote. In tuesday decision, Young trump the
Trump administration's conduct in striking terms, quoting Reagan's God, I
can't believe I'm agreeing with Reagan, judge and Reagan Reagan's
declaration that freedom must be quote be fought for and
defended constantly by each generation. Young also said that President

(01:25:17):
Donald Trump was unlikely to change course, even in the
face of blistering criticism from federal judge. Trump quote simply
ignores it all when he takes it into his head
to act end quote, Young wrote. Still, the president is
not quote entirely lawless, he added. The judge said he
would decide upon an appropriate remedy for Trump administration's conduct

(01:25:39):
after a future hearing. Liz Huston, spokes spokeswoman for the
White House, sending an email that Tuesday's order was an
outrageous ruling that hampers the safety and security of our nation.
She said the administration would immediately appeal the decision. The
White House also provided a lengthy critique of young judicial

(01:26:00):
track record. Because you know that it's a sneaky Reagan
re appointee that's out here doing a lot of sneaky
Reagan things. I thought you guys liked that. Starting in
early March, immigration authorities lauched to campaign to detain and
the port non citizen students in the US universities who
had been active in opposing Israel's war in Gaza. Those

(01:26:20):
arrested were not accused of any crime and turn weeks
confined and immigration and custom enforcement detention facilities, in some
case hundreds of miles away from where they lived before
being released on bail. The case in Boston brought by
the American Association of University Professors aa UP or like
how I like the colloquially call it a double a

(01:26:45):
UP in the Middle East Studies Association accused the Drum
administration of having an unconstitutional policy of deporting people based
on their political views that chilled the freedom of speech
of their members. Yeah. The case focused on targeting of
five non citizens students and scholars Makmu Khalil, Unesco Chung,

(01:27:11):
Romesia Os, Turk Betri and all your names Badah Kun
Surrey in Motion.

Speaker 1 (01:27:18):
Madawi.

Speaker 3 (01:27:19):
All were arrested, except for Chung, who obtained a restraining
order before Ice could find her. Yeah, that's how you
do it. Moving along right from there. You still can't
do that, dummy. A federal judge on Tuesday disqualified President
President Donald Trump's pick for US attorney in Nevada, ruling
that she had had been unlawfully appointed. The second court

(01:27:39):
ruling in this many months to cast doubts on the
Justice Department's novel strategy of retaining the president's most controversial
appointees in top prosecutor uh prosecutorial roles. Wow, that was
a difficult one from me there. The US District Judge
David G. Campbell concluded that, Uh, I think that's a

(01:28:01):
CHATAI probably butchering that too. A GOP activist and Republican
National Committee woman who was appointed as interim Remember we
talked about this a lot, like this is what happens.
They appoint interim of folks, in this case, interim US
attorney in March had served beyond the one hundred and
twenty day expiration date for that role, and the the
Trump administration efforts to keep her past the deadline did

(01:28:22):
not withstand legal scrutiny. This happens in a lot of
Trump's things, right. He appoints interim people and then just
tries to leave them there, which is against the law,
because you see here there's only one hundred and twenty
days that they should be there. Judge Campbell barred her
and prosecutors under her supervision from overseeing cases against for
defendants who brought challenges to her authority. He did not

(01:28:43):
lay out in his thirty two page order who now
should lead the Las Vegas based Federal Prosecutors Office, or
explain how the decision should be interpreted in terms of
any of the dozens of other cases that overseas. Campbell
suggested that Nevada's federal judges could decide to point their
own interm the US attorney only served one hundred and
twenty days, or that the Trump administration could name a

(01:29:05):
new acting head of the office through the process that
applies with federal law, so there is still opening for
him to put another interim person in there by law,
interim US attorney appointments can only last, as we mentioned,
one hundred and twenty days if there's no Senate confirmed nominee.
At that point, Federal judges are in power to appoint
an acting replacement in their district. In most cases, judges

(01:29:27):
opt to extend the tenure of the acting appointee already
serving in the job. In Hobba's case, New Jersey's federal
judge voted not to reappoint her, choosing a career prosecutor
from her office instead, who had been serving is Hobby's
chief deputy Attorney General, Pam Blondie. Sorry I responded by
attacking the judges and firing the successors they appointed. Bondi

(01:29:51):
then astalled Habba as a newly vacant chief deputy role
because there was no one serving at that point as
US Attorney. Habba, as the office is new number two,
inherited the command of the office on an acting basis,
which again they can only serve in one hundred and
twenty days, and that was breaking the law. Facing the
possibility of similar rejection from Nevada's federal judges, tried to

(01:30:14):
resign her spot as the top federal prosecutor a day
before the interim terminal was set to expire in July,
before the judges could gather the vote on whether to
reappoint her, She too, was then installed in her office
his number two position, to reassume control as the states
acting US Attorney. So again, there's just a lot of
foolishness of foot that's going on in Nevada in a

(01:30:36):
variety of places when it comes to the federal judiciary
around these intro people.

Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
All Right, the way I see it is, I don't
think most of these people are qualified nothing, and they
they're they're not dealing with the bs, you know, they're
It's like like either this is why if you viewed
it as like I really wish you know, the people
have the choice to vote in whatever judge they bring

(01:31:03):
in here. I mean we.

Speaker 3 (01:31:06):
The executive branch. I mean I get it.

Speaker 1 (01:31:08):
That's yeah, I mean yeah, it's like, you know, you
can appoint anybody you want. But really it's like, look,
if they're not you're pointing and people who are not qualified,
it means you're not qualified and knowing who who really
needs to be in this position? Because he doesn't care.
He figures like Okay, put this person in. That's how
that's how he views it. So it's and it becomes annoying.

(01:31:31):
And I can I can tell based on what you're
how you're reading it. This is like some of these
you know people like got another one.

Speaker 3 (01:31:40):
We're gonna have to get out of here. It's like
the same story over and over again. All right, orgasm
whatever that This is crazy. This headline is called ted
has a news orgasm. It's crazy, multiple news orgasms every day.
This is fucking media cycle that we have going on.

(01:32:00):
The Supreme Court on Wednesday rule that Federal Reserve Governor
Lisa Cook can remain in her job for now and
announce they will take up the high stakes case over
President Donald trump attempt to remove her from the Central Bank.
The Court will hear arguments in the case in January,
and its temporary ruling will last at least until then.
Lower courts allowed Cook to keep her position at the
Federal Reserve. The Trump administration asked the High Court to

(01:32:23):
overturn those decisions, allowing Trump to remove Cook immediately in
order hopefully to have another appointed person on there that
they can vote for lowering interest rates, whether it's right
or wrong. The High Court's decision to hear the case
sets up a showdown over the independence of the Central Bank,

(01:32:43):
which sets interest rates and tasked with taming inflation. The
case could have major ramifications for businesses and consumers. Right.
I think this is huge, right, And I do find
that the Supreme Court is a rubber stamp at this
point before President Donald Trump. But I think this one
they need to be very careful because I think we
talk a lot about banana republics, but I do think

(01:33:04):
once the Federal Reserve is under the thumb of the
president and it becomes political, they're no longer making decisions
based on economic data and they'll be making decisions based
on politics.

Speaker 1 (01:33:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
The provisional ruling allowed Cook to keep her job signals
hesitation from at least some of the justices regarding the
President's aggressive campaign. The ouse Cook and gained tighter control
over the Fed. Her removal required affirmative votes from at
least five to nine justices. That's very interesting they had
to get there. I'm assuming beer Can, Brett and you
come Barrett was the ones who joined Roberts. I'm assuming

(01:33:43):
the liberal justices to get this over the line Columbia
law professor Lev Mendon called for the Court's move quite consequential,
even though the justices offer no detail or reason to
explain the two sentence order that are delaying the ruling
on the administration, who request the justices handed Cook and win.
Quote it's not a definitive victory, he said, but quote

(01:34:05):
it just buys Lisa Cook a significant amount of additional
time in office, contrary to the President's wishes to displace her.
Men enjoined other academics and friends of the Courts, which
are usually amicus briefs supporting Cook, arguing that allowing the
President to immediately dismiss FED governor could undermine the Central
Banks independence. The ruling contrasted with others this year by

(01:34:29):
the Subreene Court and a string of victories for the
administrat The conservative super majority has allowed Trump to fire
and these temporarily board members a handful of agencies Congress
set up to have some independence from the president. That's
including the FDC of Federal Trade Commission and the National
Labor Relations Board. But the Court also signaled that those

(01:34:50):
rulings that is signaled in one of those rulings that
it considers the Fed fundamentally different from other agencies, and
that the President might have less led to remove its governors.
The high profile group of former Treasury secretaries and Federal
Reserve board chairs and governors and other high level economic
officials warned in a Friend of the Court brief removing

(01:35:12):
Cook could jeopardize the credibility and efficacy of the US
monetary policy. The White House offered a low key response
to the setbacks from the Court, saying, quote, we have
respect for the Supreme Court. Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said
they are going to hear the actual case and make
a determination on the legal argument in January, and we

(01:35:32):
look forward to that because we maintained that she was
fired within the president's legal authority to do show to
do so. She added, the decision to defer consideration of
cookcases so January means that she will be able to
participate in the at least two remaining FED meetings of
the year, one later this month and the other in December,
were officials will consider whether consider whether to continue cutting

(01:35:57):
interest rates to fend A first schedule policy meeting of
twenty twenty six is in late January, so we'll see
how that goes. I expect maybe only six minutes over. Uh,
only six minutes over if you are you know the
bus in a minute? Yeah? Oh, we have this last

(01:36:21):
second section here, it's we have we have it's two
options here. We can either do Tess picks or Yahoo's
visit and the weird Gaza deal. What do we want
to do? Am I? Are we prepared to do Tess picks?
I've I've added this to my meeting on Friday at work.

(01:36:45):
I do picks now for that?

Speaker 1 (01:36:48):
What are your picks?

Speaker 3 (01:36:49):
Should we do? Is the music anywhere?

Speaker 12 (01:36:51):
Or no?

Speaker 3 (01:36:52):
Let's is the music sitting around there some out there?
They'll probably be wrong. I think I can still pick
like it's twenty twenty. It's twenty three twenty San Francisco.

Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
Yeah, but the the rams are driving.

Speaker 3 (01:37:13):
Oh never mind. Okay, so yeah, you know what, we
won't pick that game.

Speaker 1 (01:37:18):
Okay, Well, we got some dance pop. How's the dance pop?

Speaker 3 (01:37:20):
All right? Put that under let's under there, we'll go,
you know, okay, alright, alright, friends, we will do tests
touchdown picks for the first time this year. All right,
all right, so we already told you right we're not

(01:37:42):
betting on the game tonight. So you guys, sorry we
missed that one. It's okay. But starting off on Sunday,
I think in my home country, have they made it back?
They're in London, ton, I know they were in Dublin
last week.

Speaker 1 (01:37:53):
Is No, they're in Dublin. So they're back in London.
They're back in London.

Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
Back in London. So you're some nine to thirty football.
We do have the Minnesota Vikings going against the Cleveland
brown to two and two Minnesota Vikings versus one in
three Cleveland Browns. I am going to go with. I'm
gonna go to Cleveland upset here. I'm gonna pick Cleveland
in London over Minnesota. Moving on to the slate of

(01:38:19):
one o'clock games, we have Houston the one in three
Houston Texans versus Brian's one in three Baltimore Ravens. I
will also pick here Houston to go ahead and take
that game with the Lamar Jackson Liss Baltimore Ravens here
all right. Moving along at one o'clock, we have Miami

(01:38:39):
Dolphins versus the Carolina A bunch of one and threes
right here, two one and three's going at it. I
will choose the Dolphins even without Tyreek Hill, to move
to two and three against the Carolina Panthers at one o'clock. Next,
we have the Las Vegas Rads versus the Indianapolis Call
Tour at three and one versus the one and three Raiders.

(01:39:00):
Gino Smith looks really bad, and oddly enough, Dame Jones
looks really good. I'm gonna pick Daniel Jones in the
Innnapolis Colts to go four and one and that terrible
division and they take a playoff.

Speaker 1 (01:39:12):
Berfect. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:39:14):
Moving along, we have the New York Football Giants versus
the New Orleans Saints, who are oh and four. I picked, uh,
the New organ I bet the New Orleans Saints here
to actually go ahead and get it win, get their
first one. Yeah, I'm gonna pick. I do think. I
think Jackson Dark came in last year week and knowing

(01:39:35):
they didn't have anything for the draw, But yeah, I
think this I do. I'm picking New Orleans for this one. Next,
we have the one, two and one Dallas Cowboys that's
a probably play odd great old time versus the oh
and four Jets. I do have Dallas winning this against

(01:39:56):
New York Jets because the Jets are always gonna jet
uh still stay in the one o'clock games. Here we
have the Denver Broncos versus the four and oh and
reigning NFL Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles. I will pick
the Eagles to win that and go five and oh,
even though it doesn't help me in the division that

(01:40:17):
I love. Moving right along, all right, the witching hours
happened and we've made it to the four or five game.
We have Tennessee versus Arizona to four Tennessee Titans with
cam Ward behind center against Kyler Murray.

Speaker 1 (01:40:31):
And the Arizona Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (01:40:32):
I pick Arizona Cardinals to go and take that and
the Tennessee Titans to go to oh and five due
to bad coaching and not so much the bad players
they have not you can ward the comeback kids. Here
Baker Mayfield with Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus three and one
Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus three and one Seattle Seahawks, I

(01:40:53):
would choose this. I assume this is gonna go down
to the last drive, and I assume that Baker Mayfield
will win in the last driver seas multiple times this year.
I will be taking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and that.

Speaker 1 (01:41:06):
Moving on, we have.

Speaker 3 (01:41:07):
The Detroit Lions versus the Bengals. This is Lions versus Tigers,
Oh Bears. Oh my, you know, I that's a tough
one here, but that's not a really tough one here.
I picked the Detroit Lions because Cincinnati look really bad
without Joe Burrow. And I forgot what's that quarterbacks name? Browning?
He's what can brown do for you? Nothing? Nothing for you?

Speaker 1 (01:41:31):
All right?

Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
The game that I really care about, the Washington Comedies.
We're seeing red and we're seeing red, and we're going
into that beautiful stadium in that city that doesn't really
care about football. Los Angeles the Chargers. I have my
Washington Commanders beating Harbor and his Los Angeles Chargers and

(01:41:54):
going to three and two before they come home. On
Monday night, it's the Bears. So I am picking the
two and two Washington Commies to beat the three and
one Chargers. Are right, Football night in America? Who do
we have? We have Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills
versus the New England Patriots. The four and oh Buffalo Bills.

(01:42:15):
I assume that they will go to five and zero
and they will beat New England at Football Night in
America and rounding us out on Monday Night. It's the
game everybody's been waiting for. Patrick Mahome, Patrick Mahomes versus
who's down there, Trevor Lawrence is down there in Jacksonville,
the three one Jacksonville Jaguars against the two and two

(01:42:36):
Kansas City Chiefs. I think Kansas City, you are getting
some receivers back. I will pick Patrick Mahomes to figure
this out, and they will also move to three and
two and Jacksonville will move to three and two with
that loss. And that is Testa's touchdown picks for there.
It is a touchdown takes. I don't know that's what
it's called. I don't even know my own fucking segment

(01:42:56):
because I don't know. Look at what a show, right,
Thanks taking that off. It's been a slow last couple

We will have our week five commentary here. I'm trying
to plan that out, but no underscore filter and a
score Sports and a score two point five where you

(01:44:22):
can find some updates on all the sports, like what
Test said, not his picks, but but pretty much what's
been going on in the sports world, because there's a
lot of stuff that a lot of not a lot
of people are talking about.

Speaker 3 (01:44:33):
So a lot of stuff in the w right now
right a lot of people w AN b A, w A.

Speaker 1 (01:44:38):
B A and and the women's soccer leagues, they're they're
on fire with a lot of a lot of things
going on behind the scenes that not a lot of
people know about. So you should check out a lot
of the publications out there.

Speaker 3 (01:44:51):
