Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, this is Stefania. Welcome to the classic children's story podcast,
Stories for Bedtime, play Time, anytime to keep your little
ones entertained and happy. We bring an international collection of stories,
Stories that teach, stories that entertain, and more. We've got
our Christmas story for this year. It's an original, very
(00:25):
special story. Not all Christmas presents come wrapped up in
a pretty package. Some of them are gifts of the heart.
Some of them are gifts that make us glow and
(00:46):
feel good from the inside. But we can't carry them
with us or put them in a box or in
our knapsacks. We keep them in our hearts. This is
such a story. It's called Sybil's Magical Christmas Adventure. Sybil,
(01:17):
an eight year old girl with a love for painting
and fairies, found herself staying with her grandmother, Margaret, for
the weekend as the Christmas season approached. Sybil was over
joyed to help her grandmother decorate the house and decorate
the tree. She adored playing with those colors and the
textures of tensil and Christmas bobbles. Together, they sipped spice
(01:42):
apple tea and munched on delicious chocolate biscuits. While they
adorned the tree in fun and creative ways. As they
were finishing up, Grandmother Margaret brought down a mysterious box. Curious,
Sybil asked what was inside her grandmother explained that it
(02:06):
contained special Christmas ornaments, unlike any Sybil had ever seen before. Intrigued,
Sybil couldn't wait to explore the contents of the box.
Grandmother Margaret dimmed the lights and turned on the artificial
fireplace and created a really nice and cozy atmosphere. She
(02:30):
then headed to the kitchen to refill and replenish their
supply of yummy good eats in the meantime, As Sybil
picked up the box, she noticed a strange glow emanating
from it. It wasn't coming from the fireplace or the ceiling,
(02:51):
and she couldn't quite place its source. With a mixture
of curiosity in caution, she opened the box to find
eight glowing round decorations inside. Sybil picked up one of
the bubbles, captivated by its unique shade of pink. As
(03:13):
she ran her fingers across the bumpy surface, she noticed
her finger sinking into the ornament, followed by her entire hand. Suddenly,
a soothing pink cloud surrounded her, and before she knew it,
she was inside the bubble, finding herself in a magical,
(03:35):
pink world. Sybil met a friendly creature named Bellavosa, the
embodiment of love. Where am I? Who are you? Said Sybil,
Welcome to the world of love. Dear Sybil, I am Balavosa,
(03:57):
and I am here to show you the power of life,
love and compassion. The magical being replied, love, what do
you mean? Love is the force that connects all of us,
Clavosa said, You give love, you create happiness and warmth
(04:18):
in the hearts of others, and it fills your own heart.
Too Soon, Sybil found herself back in her Grannie's house,
still holding the box of bubbles. She found herself not afraid,
but curious to learn more. As Sybil ventured into each
(04:40):
of the seven remaining bubbles, she encountered wonderful beings full
of holiday love and eager to pass her messages of
hope and friendship along. Eager to learn, Sybil had a
question for each For new friends, Lumino, the embodiment of wisdom,
(05:02):
Let me know what is wisdom? Wisdom comes from learning
and experiencing life. Sibyl le me no gently replied, it
helps you make good choices and understand the world better.
How do I become wise? Always be curious, ask questions,
(05:26):
and learn from your experiences. Remember it's okay to make
mistakes as long as you learn from them. She next
met Confedera, the embodiment of self confidence. Confedera, Sybil shyly asked,
(05:51):
why do I sometimes feel unsure of myself? Is normal
to feel that way sometimes, Sybil, But remember you have
strength and talents that make you unique. She placed her
hands gently on Sybil's shoulders. Believe in yourself and your abilities,
(06:17):
and you'll find the confidence to face any challenge. I
promise you. Thank you, comfidore, I traum it best. Then
Harmonia the embodiment of happiness. Sybil was a bit confused
(06:40):
by this one. Harmonia, how can I be happy all
the time? Harmonia chuckled. Happiness often comes from simple things
in life, Sybil. Treasure the moment you spend with loved ones,
beful for what you have, and always always find reasons
(07:06):
to smile. Next, Sybil met helper, the embodiment of helping others. Now,
Sybil was already a very helpful girl to her family
and friends, but She wanted to know how she could
get better at giving help. Helper, Why is it important
(07:32):
to help others? When you help others, Sybil Helper patiently explained,
you create a kinder and more compassionate world. It brings
people together and makes everyone's life righter. Is that simple? Oh?
(07:54):
I want to help more people. And at last, Sybil
love to paint and do various crafts. Met Criture, the
embodiment of creativity guitur. Sybil's feeling a bit bold now,
so she chose to ask what was truly in her
(08:18):
heart Criture, how can I be more creative? Sybil eagerly asked.
Criture sat down and beckoned for Sybil to sit inside her.
Creativity is all about using your imagination and trying new things, Sybil,
(08:42):
don't be afraid to explore, express yourself and think outside
the box. Your unique ideas are what makes you special
and you You've got a lot of them. Let them out.
It's okay. They're good enough to share right now. In
(09:06):
each encounter, Sybil learned invaluable lessons that would stay with
her long after her journey through the Christmas bubbles. She
emerged with a deeper understanding of the values and the
qualities that make life truly magical and enriching. Each bubble
(09:27):
transported her to a unique world where she learned valuable
lessons about wisdom, friendship, confidence, happiness, helping others, and creativity.
Then a swirling, colorful rainbow of ten soul and fairy
(09:53):
lights brought Sybil at last back to the sitting room.
They will blink to her eyes. The cozy sitting room
of Grannie Margaret's house came back into focus. The enchanted
bubbles now hung on the Christmas tree, their soft globe
blending with the other decorations. Sybil smiled and felt a
(10:19):
sense of warmth and joy, knowing the magic she had
experienced was real and part now of their holiday celebration.
Grandmother Margaret entered the room carrying a tray with steaming
cups of spiced apple tea and a plate of freshly
(10:42):
baked biscuits cookies. She smiled sibile, her eyes sparkling with
annoying twinkle. Grandmother Margaret said, welcome back, dear. How was
your adventure, oh Grannie? It was magical, Sibil bubbled. I
met the most incorredible, amazing friends, and I learned so
(11:08):
much about love and wisdom and happiness. Margaret nodded her
head and said, I knew those bubbles would show you
something special. You see, they're not just ordinary bubbles or
neary decorations. They hold the spirit of Christmas within them.
(11:34):
Sybil hugged her granny tightly. I'm so glad you shared
them with me. This will be a Christmas I'll never forget.
Grandmother Margaret chuckled, that's the power of the magic bubbles, dear.
Now let's enjoy our tea and biscuits. I'm sure you
have lots of stories to share. When Sybil returned home,
(11:59):
she couldn't wait to tell her parents about her extraordinary journey. However,
as she began to describe the magic bubbles and the
enchanting worlds she had visited, she noticed her parents exchanging
concerned glances. Realizing that the magic might be difficult for
(12:21):
them to understand, Sybil decided to keep the secret between
herself and grandmother Margaret. After all, some magic is best
kept between those who believe in it, and in the end,
Sybil's Christmas was filled with a newfound joy and wisdom
(12:43):
thanks to the magic bubbles and the special bond she
shared with the Grannie, and as the holiday season unfolded,
she couldn't help but notice the twinkle in Grandmother Margaret's eyes,
a silent reminder of their shared secret and the magic
that lived in their hearts. And from that day forward,
(13:04):
Sybil approached life with a sense of wonder and determination,
inspired by her extraordinary journey through the Christmas Bobbles. The
lessons she learned became her guiding light, and she continued
to share their magic with everyone around her. And that's
(13:29):
