Hector Sampieri, and I' mglad you' re joining us in this
learning lab. Shared on coaching thisseason, where we take the course of
our digital space, is especially excitingbecause we are going to explore a fundamental
(00:29):
theme for personal and professional development. We' ll talk about executive coaching.
We address all of you coaches intraining, experienced coaches and, of course,
all of the coaching clients who seekto boost their growth through this powerful
conversational technique. But before we gointo the details of executive coaching, I
(00:54):
want to share with you the approachwe will take this season. We will
focus on the contributions of the maincoaching schools and how their methodologies have shaped
the executive dimension of personal accompaniment.Let' s start today with a brief
(01:22):
introduction on what executive coaching is andwhy it is so relevant in today'
s professional environment. Inexecutive coachi isa collaborative relationship between a coach and an
executive who seeks to improve their performance, develop new skills and achieve specific goals.
It is certainly a key tool forleaders to lead their careers and teams
(01:44):
leading to the next level in theirperformance and potential. Executive coaching within the
coaching world has experienced significant progress inrecent years as an essential element in which
professional and personal growth of leaders andexecutives is consolidated as a practice widespread at
the beginning of the third decade ofthe 11th century. Let me give you
(02:22):
some data and here I take backthe COACHINGNE Global Study and c F of
two thousand twenty- three. Abouthalf of the coaching professionals said their clients
are mostly managers, thirty- onepercent or twenty- five percent executives.
The combined total represents fifty- sixpercent, an increase compared to two thousand
(02:46):
nineteen, where executive clients or managersreached fifty- two percent of coaching customers
in the world. On average, coaching professionals. They said that five accounts
and seven percent of their customers aresponsored and forty- three percent are what
are called primary customers, that is, people who pay directly for the service.
(03:10):
When we talk about sponsored customers,we talk mainly about companies or organizations
that pay the service in favor oftheir executives or their leaders. Compared to
two thousand nineteen, sponsored participation increasedby fifty- two percent, while primary
participation decreased to forty- eight percent. Now, one last piece of information.
(03:37):
Customers between the ages of thirty-five and forty- four are the
most likely to receive coaching services. There is thirty- seven percent of coaching
customers in the world, followed bycustomers in the forty- five to fifty
- four age group, which isequivalent to thirty- two percent of coaching
customers in the world, and onlyone in five is under thirty- five
(03:59):
years old and they represent twenty-one percent of coaching clients in the world,
so that, if we look atit in a broad way, most
people who receive coaching services are economicallyproductive. Talking about this data reveals the
(04:31):
great market that executive coaching means withinthe coaching world. Today, most people
who receive coaching services do so froman executive coaching perspective. That is the
importance of this precise and specific techniquein favour of companies and organisations. If
(04:55):
we approach the topic that interests us, we can realize that there is a
diversity of theories and practices that haveenriched this particular field of application within coaching
in the last forty years. Duringthis season we will try to build a
brief frame of reference to explore ina panoramic way the key dimensions of the
(05:17):
inexecutive coach, its theoretical foundations, the prominent methodologies and the main exponents that
have contributed to its development. Atthe end of this eight- episode tour
this season, we will seek toshare our own reflection on executive coaching and
the benefits and dimensions of this crucialconcept for this coaching Lab Mexico project.
(05:42):
We can begin this consideration by brieflydefining today that executive coaching focuses on the
development of leadership skills and is theimprovement of the personal performance and organization of
collaborators within organizations that participate in aprocess of personal accompaniment, advised by a
(06:02):
professional coach prepared and trained in theuse of this conversation tool that will undoubtedly
favor a process of change based onpreviously determined goals at the personal level and
also at the organizational level, sothat, throughout this season, we will
explore how different approaches and coaching techniquescan be applied to maximize the potential of
(06:28):
executives. We will then talk aboutthese seven coaching schools and their contribution to
the technique of executive coaching, inorder that you listen to them you can
learn to recognize the nuances between oneproposal and another, taking the best of
each one for an efficient practice inthe world of personal accompaniment. For coaches
