Random discovery could’ve solved a decades old cold case homicide

Well, it looks like they got inside. They got some
information in regards to a cold case a break. Two
fishermen in Minnesota made an unexpected discovery beneath the Mississippi
River when sonar technology led to what authorities say it
could be a break in a decade's old cold case.
Brady Locke, one of the fishermen, spotted a car in

the river using a sonar device last weekend. Three days later,
divers located the vehicle and found human remains inside. It
was one hundred percent luck, they told the new station
WCCO Sokia. The sheriffs of the county said he feared

found in the car, and the then number of the vehicle,
they believe it was to mister Ben. Mister Ben is

a large sum of money when he was last seen.

The search for Ben continued months after his disappearance and
more than five decades after he was last seen. Archives
of Saint Cloud Daily Times reviewed shed light on the
man who disappeared without a trace almost sixty years ago,
at the last being seen dining earlier that day at
King Supper Club north of Sartel, Minnesota. He was fifty
nine at the time of his disappearance, was a businessman

and owner of the Saint Cloud appliance repair service, whose
wife had died the year before. His brother worked with
law enforcement officials following roy'sppearances. Investigators Chase Leeds have never
resolved the case. The Sheriff's Department has been tasked with
investigating Ben's missing person's case since since his disappearance, but

they have many leads but nothing ever panned out. Roy,
who has declared legally dead in nineteen seventy five, after
eight years after he went missing, The Sheriff's office is
leading the investigation for the case, and the remains found
in the buick have been sent to a medical examiners. However,
the sheriff said caution that some of the typical techniques
that our partners in the Medical Examiner's office would used

length of the time the body has been underwater. However,
there's strong indications could be roy Ben's vehicle and those
are likely his remains.
