I mean, at some point I expected to relax. But
all right, and my like, the shoes I wore are
like breaking down, so like my feet started hurting like
real bad, which then caused my back to hurt. M
because I'm old. Yeah, And I was like, oh, that's cool.

I recently have had that myself. I've worn the same
shoes for work for like over ten years. The only
reason why I never got any new shoes because I
never wanted to buy new shoes for unless I went
working somewhere else. I finally broke down and bought some
new ones, and it's like, oh my god, this helps
with foot pain.

What the hell?

See what happens when you buy new shoes that have

Yep. Yeah, so I have to do the same things
at the breakdown and getting new shoes too.

They were a little weird too. They're from a company
called morel.

Morell makes pretty decent like boots and stuff and they mean,
you know, casual shoes as well. They're owned by Wolverine apparently,
where I found out when when I bought them. But
I always replaced the laces on my shoes with elastic
laces so I never have to time of shoes and
these ones were just slip on anyway. They were like

slip on boots, but you know, not high top boots,
just like shoes. I was like, this would be weird,
and they were really weird to wear around for the
first couple of days. But how that my feet have
gotten used to them, It's like, okay, I can do that.

Yeah, yeah, he says, but yeah, no, it was. It was.
It was a lot of fun. A lot of stuff
happened for the folks who don't know. Is I just
my page and I just went to Las Vegas during WrestleMania.
We didn't go to the actual Wrestlemingia event because that's

way too much money to spend and not get good
seats because that stadium is just so big.

What stadium was held.

In Allegiance in the Radiers Stadium, Okay, and it holds
max capacity for a football game I think they say
is like seventy something thousand people. Damn. Yeah. The setup
that Mania used actually had less than that because they
took up a good portion of part of the seating

area with their stage, which was just mammoth. But they
had like sixty four thousand I think per day per day. Yeah,
so grand total was like one hundred I think they
said it was like one hundred and twenty six or

something thousand people bought tickets.

Vegas must have been busy.

Vegas was. It wasn't as bad as I expected. The
strip was obnoxious, but that's Vegas in general, you know.
But yeah, it's like it was crazy because like they
had stuff at the convention center, which Vegas Convention Center

is just so big. It's so big. Uh, I think
it's got to be like the biggest convention center in
the country. It has to be. There's just no way.
But uh, in their expanding part of it too, which
is crazy. Uh. So like they had the shop, the superstore,

and the ww World, which is their uh paid area
you go to and you can see memorabilia from different WrestleMania.
They had a Hall of Fame set up with outfits
from all the inductees for this year. They did a
Hall of Hall H, a Hall of Triple H stuff

like it was basically a The other thing we didn't
go into it because every time we did is like,
there's like a wait, but there was like no one
line because they like you have to wait for people
to go through and like that, we'll come back and
every time, like oh, thirty minutes, I'm like, oh good god.
I think one point you did actually miss it. Yeah,
it was like at one point I think we did
miss a chance to go in pretty easily because we

saw people walking in, but we were doing something else anyways.
So you have that. The main entrance has replica logos
from the past handful of WrestleMania's pretty much the last
I think the last five I think they were, or
at least four. I can't remember which ones were. I

know they had like the one from the Buccaneers to
the pirate themed one. They had La one. There's another
one that was right up front and I can't wrote
it was. But then you had like different experiences, Like
they had like a TOPS thing because they're a big
partner with ww right now with their trading cards as

well as they're owned by Phonetics apparently, which I did
not know. But Phonetics does like the the merchant stuff
for WWE, so they had a big presence there. But
they had like an experience where you basically walk through
you can see like all these like one of one
H merch or not merch memorabilia as well as cards

that correspond with them. So you go through and you
can see like Caine's mask and then a card featuring Kane,
so it's kind of cool. Then you go into a
like this experience where you're like standing on the stage
of a are in the ring and you rarely get
a superstar and they come out and it's kind of
like this weird like sort of like VR ish thing.

You know, we're in helmets, like you're on this on
the stage and it has like a wrap around screen
and lighting effects and stuff and like the crowd sounds
around you whatever, and you just basically act like you're
in the ring with that superstar, so we got we
got jay Usso the new heavy undisputed Heavyweight WW champion.
But he did this whole yeat thing, so you're in

there and you like you yeat with him and it
was pretty cool. And then you get and there was
like there's autograph area. There's like photographs, a lot of
them are paid, some of them are freeze at the
waiting line. Then they did the VIP stuff, which like
the day we were there, which was on Monday, the
following Monday of Mania. Uh it was actually John Cena

but also in that area, they were filming the Pat
McAfee show, so he was there and he does a
during major p l E s like WrestleMania. His show
a lot of times on the Friday and the Monday
surrounding those events are wrestling theme. They still talk about

other sports too, but they have like they have guests
from WrestleMania or the pl E on the show. Uh
So when we were there, Paul Hayman was there, John
Cena was there, There's someone else that was up there too,
and that was pretty cool. But you can kind of
see it and they actually you if you watch the program,

you actually see Paige and I walk by and wave
a couple of times because you're the camera faces the
into the end of the w W world, so you
can see like the crowd and stuff like behind the desk,
uh and everything. There's that and like the VIV thing
was like an autograph or I mean a photo op
with John Cena and he had there must have been

three four hundred people in that line and he went
through all of it. I was like, dang, that's wild.
But yeah, so there's that I got. That's when I
got Xavier Woods to sign my UNO cards and my
uh my up Up, Down Down tag ticket they have,

as well as I met Tyler Breeze, which is from
Up Up, Down Down. Almost got a chance to get
a phe of Big Ee, but they pulled him away
because he had to get off to the shoe. It
was like literal at the end of the the the
WB experience thing, and he had to be right. He
basically rushed him off because he has to go get
on and get ready to be on TV because he
was you know, he hosts uh after programming or before

programming and after program and stuff of like the shows
and Monday Night Raw was being filmed there, so yeah,
because in so in this weekend or this past weekend,
starting on essentially Thursdays when everything started. That's when the
store in the in the w W world started, and

they had events going through all the time. So after
part like the nighttime stuff going on with like parties
and stuff where super stars were there, didn't go to
those because not going to the night club. But they had,
like I said, the Convention Center had that stuff in it.

Allegiance Stadium actually obviously had WrestleMania going on in it.
The T Mobile Arena was featured for Friday SmackDown, NXT
Standard Deliver Saturday morning, uh, and then had Monday Night

Raw there and in that same time, I believe it
was on Tuesday when we were getting ready to leave,
they were getting ready to host the Golden Knights.

Okay, yeah, that's quite the transition to go from huge
wrestling event to hockey.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Well, so that's the thing. And then starting this this
past week was like I think it was actually I
think it's tonight. It might be tonight tonight Sunday. Yeah,
So they had UFC in town the following weekend, said
tough enough yesterday and I have a pay per view tonight.

I think it's UFC three fifteen. I think is tonight.
I can't remember. Yeah, so they were actually so we
originally stayed and this is all over the place, but
originally we stayed at the Rio just because it was
off the strip but close enough people to get there

pretty easily either by car or a quick like uber
taxi ride, but also not close enough to be completely
bogged down with people walking in and around, because it's
like not on the strip. Yeah, it's definitely it's andy.
I guess they just refurbished the rooms, like not too
long ago, so much so that they actually have these

new fridges in them. And uh, one side, very tiny
compartment is a usable side you can use. The other
side is supposed to be filled with like, hey, you
can pay for these drinks in the room type thing.
That side of it wasn't working. I had nothing in
it had a little thing in it had a little thing,
and it's saying so we're covering that basically, like hey,

this is like something that's we're doing in the future.
And I was like, all right, whatever the fuck that's
supposed to mean. We had the rooms were were pretty nice.
We had like a I wouldn't call it a suite,
but it was a pretty nice setup and had a
couch in front of the TV. Yeah, it was like
a pretty big sectional couch and then like the the

bed and the thing, and then uh, pretty a pretty
cool view of off the strip. We could see a
sliver of the sphere from our room entertaining. Yeah, not
enough to see really what was going on?

Did they do anything for WrestleMania No?

So that was the thing. Is like we expected them
to do like stuff at the sphere, but like they
didn't have anything going on there. It was weird and
it was like during the time, I know, they had
the Grateful Dead thing there, which is I think they
called dead Forever, which is ominously sounding, but whatever, you know,

dead forever, I mean the lead guys have been dead
for years.

Yeah, but they continue.

It's true. So we thought a bunch of hippies, like,
which is weird to say in twenty twenty five, but
they're definitely hippies. Uh. Like, imagine if it was you,
like who didn't shower for a few days and all
you did is wear a tie, die and flip flops.
There's just a bunch of you walking around. Yeah, dude,

it was. It was wild. Not calling you hippie, but
you have a very hippie vibe if you were dressed
on a chair.

It was funny too because we were at the the
Rio and uh, we're in the little canteena area they
have which is like their food court, fancy name for it,
which had some really good food.

Uh. But they these three dudes walk in. One of
them was obliterated, like he was so gone dude, like
a like, you know, there's a thousand yard stair. This
dude had like a ten thousand yard stale. Dude, he
was vacant, okay, but he was like walking around with

these two dude with his other friends.

Yeah, And they went to this the burger place there,
it was called Ada Boy Burger. And they walk up
and he's like standing there and one dude orders. We're
watching us from our table, we're waiting for our food.
One dude orders. He's standing there. They everyone, the lady
behind the counter, and his two people that were with him,

I don't want to call friends. Whatever. Handlers stare at him,
realize he's not answering, like he's not gonna be saying anything.
Then the third guy orders. Then it's like a comedy,
a comic routine, a comedy routine. At this point turns
and looks back at him, and he says something and
I couldn't hear because they were far enough away. And

then she was like looks and his friend looks at
looks her and goes and says something else and she
just like punches whatever in and they go and they
sit down and they realize that he hasn't moved yet,
so right as they're going over to him, he just
turns and starts walking, but like not in the direction
they were sitting. And I was like, dude, this dude's

fucking burnt out. Bro. Yeah, dude. And he's got the
Grateful Dead like Dead Forever tour shirt on, and it's
like a tied I shirt with like the uh the
sphere stuff on the back of it. I'm pretty sure
it's probably like there's other stops there that this tour
was making, but like this is like I think the
last of it, or maybe the started, but I'm not
too sure. But he has that on and he's like

got cargo shorts on and like industrial fucking sandals, you know,
with this like the clip on straps whatever. Dude. Uh.
And then I realized he has a Fannie pack on
mm hmm. But let's say it's like underneath his T shirt, right,
and he walks by and it's just the strongest smell
of weed, and I was like, Jesus Christ, this guy's

at that point we're driving, we saw the ad on

we end up going to the world's largest dispensary.

we when we were in Vegas hadn't two or three

years ago we saw this ad for and we've been
legal in Vegas for like a while now, I think
like right after California, so like it's been a while.
And we had gone to a couple different dispensaries there
and they're all they're pretty much like dispensaries here. But
page one time was looking something up or we were

actually were outside of a hotel, I think we were
waiting for an uber or something, and we saw an
ad for said plant thirteen, world's largest dispensary. Ok And
we're like, what the fuck? How do you how can
you even say that? Like how big could this fucking
place be?

Okay, first off, it's fucking massive. Okay, So not only
does it have the dispensary, which is just mammoth when
it comes to like, I swear god jo it's not
even a fucking it's not gaslighting or anything. Right, the
sales floor and like the dispensary out of the actual

dispensary of this place was close to the floor space
that surprise best Buy has. That's big, bro, It's fucking massive, dude.
They carry over seven hundred brands. They had a hundred registers,
holy shit. Yeah dude, they were not fully up and

running because it was like a fucking Tuesday.

But but still, but still, the fact that you can
have a hundred one hundred registers means that you you know,
or think that you're going to be doing a.

Yeah, dude. Like, and it was. It was pretty busy.
There was a lot of people there, so when you
first walk in, you got you gotta check in minu.
When we pulled up, I do not think this building
was as big as it was. I was like, well,
it's a lot of dispensaries. The front of it was
pretty It looked like a fucking like a front of
a night club or something almost like a front of

a casino. They had one of those big fountains with
the the ball that like this wasn't rotating, but as
the big ball, the water runs out on the fountain,

So that right out front, they had like valet parking,
which is fucking wild, yeah, dude. And it was also
where the taxis and ride share would pick you up
a little putting parking up front and then you have
more parking in the back. So I was like, all right,
you know, pull up, and this building was just going
forever and I was like Jesus Christ, and the parking

like way back there. But I found them what up front?
So I grabbed that. We walked in and they have
a driver's lounge, which is hilarious and I had to
look it up on what actually was, and I asked
the dude what exactly it is, and it's a thing
that almost all the dispensaries apparently are adopting there. And
basically what it is is like a little rest pit

area for ride chair people and taxi drivers. So if
if someone says, hey, I want to go to dispensary,
what do you recommend that you can bring him to
this place and then you get like a kickback. So
at Plant thirteen what I was I don't know if
this is true or not. Don't hold it's not gospel.
When they have an air conditioning lounge I can go

into that gives them free drinks which is like water
and sodas and stuff, snacks. Sometimes they've I guess apparently
catered food there for them, and then they get a
cupe on for a free pre roll okay, but they
can't redeem it when they're on the clock. Yeah, so

that they can come back whenever they want and get
a fucking free weed. Again, this is what I was told.
I don't know. I never I never saw. I did
see the area, but I never really saw what was
going on there. But they didn't have a straight up
armed guard there.

So when you walk in, you get checked in and
there's this thing that I've seen it in some of
the smaller hotels, like I think a couple down on
Fremont Street have them. But there's this inlay on the
floor of like micro display LEDs uh set up and
they have like different things that are projected down on
them and when you step on it in a racks

and this was like coyfish. Yeah, so like you walk
in and you're like, probably looked like we were sucking
high shit because like trying to scare the fish. So
then you walk in. They have an on site tattoo parlor.
They can get tattoos starting as low as ten dollars
that yeah, well they're also like fucking like the size yeah,

like size and half a penny whatever. Right, So they
have that. They have a a robotic assembly line that
is that is packaging edibles and I think infused beverages. Yeah,

and you can watch the robots do their thing, and
I think they're I think it was for like like
part of it. I looked like it might have been
set up for like automated ordering, so if you order something,
they package packaged it in there anyway, so you.

Would have something like that where you could like I
want so many gummies I want.

And it's just like.

But it just happened right where we were standing watching.

And they have uh, they have a uh I think

a consumption lounge. So I thought it was a thing
where you could like buy weed and go there and

I would think that that'd still be illegal.

Well, because you can smoke it pretty much anywhere you want,
Like they have places that say hey, like no marijuana
smoking here. You can smoke cigarettes NonStop. Yeah, it's like

Oh yeah yeah yeah, it's fucking wild, dude. I don't
know if you're supposed to or not, but everyone does.
Like people are walking on the strip just smoking weed,
which is fucking wild.

Because I figured that it would still be like, no,
you can't do it in public, you have to do
it in your house.

Yeah, dude. It's like almost every hotel has signs there's
no no smoking or vaping in the rooms whatever. Right,
And like specifically say like no marijuana.

Specifically, Well, it's not dape and it's not cigarettes, therefore
it must be legal.

Yeah, so like they like specify because people trying to
find loopholes and ship. But yeah, you walk outside, you

like when you like classic Vegas, you walk somewhere and
all you smell is like stale year because like people

all you basically go in there, you sign up, and

So you go in there and you basically do like
this like tasting I guess you could say of like
different different like edibles, vapes, like actual flower like all
of it.

because we were looking around before we went in a
dispensary because once you're kind of in there, you're you're
in there. You can leave and walk in it out

but there was like this little like miniature VW bus Okay,
and I say miniature it looked like you had like
two or three feet chopped off of it, maybe because
it wasn't definitely was not a full size one anyways,

a photo op thing, like you we look like hippies
or whatever. Right, But then we're walking back towards the
dispensary from the Consumption Lounge, and I was like, what
the fuck is that because there's like this little thing
like a button and it's a green button, has a
joint on it, and I was like, what the fucks.
I walk over. It's a literal hot box machine. You

get in, you close the door, you press the button,
and it just pumps in fucking weed smoke and you
hot box in this thing. Yeah, dude. I was like,
that's fucking wild, dude. Yeah. So I was like, oh shit,
all right, well that's that's that's okay whatever, man. Uh

you know. So then we walked into the fucking Disneyland
of Weed where they have all these so the perimeter
is just the registers and then they just display tables.
They have different brands and like they're what they carry,
so like everything from uh, the actual flower from it

had to be in three hundred different brands just of

and it has your initials and then your number, and

it literally has to be the world's biggest, like world's

of the hotels, So we basically made like a horseshoe
back or a loop around the strip. That way went
to all those ones and we were walking around. But

they had a wwe ropes around it and with it
with one of those those belts. Like I took a
picture over in front of the lion, and you can
take a picture in front of it and all that
stuff that was on So Monday when we checked in,

going back down there, it had been switched out to
a UFC and they had an octagon set up around
the Lion. I was like, this is literally Disneyland shit,

We never made it down to Fremont Street, which apparently
had they were supposed to have a giant replica belt
you can take a picture in front of. Then people
are saying it wasn't actually that big, and I was like, okay, whatever.
So we never made it down to Fremont Street to
look at it. But apparently they were doing like on
the screen that goes over the top of the Fremont
Street was WrestleMania themes stuff, so they like they would

show like clips from WrestleMania's and stuff and then advertisements

kind of cool.

I could stream right from my iPad right to the
TV because I brought an h and I cable and
stuff and do that. But then I had the streaming.
I was like, oh, just plug my iPad in and

a sushi place. They had a burrito place that was
really pretty good called Sonoran Burrito, which I need to

it was. I had a bomb ass fucking brito from there,
just packed full of beans, rice, chicken, guacamole, salsa, like
all sorts. It was so good. The Ronen Place was
really good too, So we had those places in there.

We were gonna go the Wicked Spoon and you try
to get to do a buffet, but like, we didn't
reserve a spot. And then it was. The line was
an hour long. We're like fuck this. Uh but what
