Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's happening?
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Nothing? What's happened with you?
Speaker 1 (00:04):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Nothing nothing, nothing, nothing.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Nothing, not a not a gosh darn thing.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
Fair enough, I suppose, kind of probably kind of nice
since this past week you've been doing nothing but something.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Oh yeah, I mean you know some things, some things.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Do things here and there?
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yeah? Yeah yeah? How was that? Uh less relaxing than
I wanted it to be?
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Do you expect that to be relaxing?
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I mean, at some point I expected to relax. But
all right, and my like, the shoes I wore are
like breaking down, so like my feet started hurting like
real bad, which then caused my back to hurt. M
because I'm old. Yeah, And I was like, oh, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
I recently have had that myself. I've worn the same
shoes for work for like over ten years. The only
reason why I never got any new shoes because I
never wanted to buy new shoes for unless I went
working somewhere else. I finally broke down and bought some
new ones, and it's like, oh my god, this helps
with foot pain.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
What the hell?
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yep?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
It's surprising to.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
See what happens when you buy new shoes that have
actual art support.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yep. Yeah, so I have to do the same things
at the breakdown and getting new shoes too.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
They were a little weird too. They're from a company
called morel.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Morell makes pretty decent like boots and stuff and they mean,
you know, casual shoes as well. They're owned by Wolverine apparently,
where I found out when when I bought them. But
I always replaced the laces on my shoes with elastic
laces so I never have to time of shoes and
these ones were just slip on anyway. They were like
(02:04):
slip on boots, but you know, not high top boots,
just like shoes. I was like, this would be weird,
and they were really weird to wear around for the
first couple of days. But how that my feet have
gotten used to them, It's like, okay, I can do that.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
I can deal with this. It's pretty cool and I get.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, yeah, he says, but yeah, no, it was. It was.
It was a lot of fun. A lot of stuff
happened for the folks who don't know. Is I just
my page and I just went to Las Vegas during WrestleMania.
We didn't go to the actual Wrestlemingia event because that's
(02:46):
way too much money to spend and not get good
seats because that stadium is just so big.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
What stadium was held.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
In Allegiance in the Radiers Stadium, Okay, and it holds
max capacity for a football game I think they say
is like seventy something thousand people. Damn. Yeah. The setup
that Mania used actually had less than that because they
took up a good portion of part of the seating
(03:20):
area with their stage, which was just mammoth. But they
had like sixty four thousand I think per day per day. Yeah,
so grand total was like one hundred I think they
said it was like one hundred and twenty six or
(03:44):
something thousand people bought tickets.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Vegas must have been busy.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Vegas was. It wasn't as bad as I expected. The
strip was obnoxious, but that's Vegas in general, you know.
But yeah, it's like it was crazy because like they
had stuff at the convention center, which Vegas Convention Center
(04:11):
is just so big. It's so big. Uh, I think
it's got to be like the biggest convention center in
the country. It has to be. There's just no way.
But uh, in their expanding part of it too, which
is crazy. Uh. So like they had the shop, the superstore,
(04:33):
and the ww World, which is their uh paid area
you go to and you can see memorabilia from different WrestleMania.
They had a Hall of Fame set up with outfits
from all the inductees for this year. They did a
Hall of Hall H, a Hall of Triple H stuff
(04:58):
like it was basically a The other thing we didn't
go into it because every time we did is like,
there's like a wait, but there was like no one
line because they like you have to wait for people
to go through and like that, we'll come back and
every time, like oh, thirty minutes, I'm like, oh good god.
I think one point you did actually miss it. Yeah,
it was like at one point I think we did
miss a chance to go in pretty easily because we
(05:18):
saw people walking in, but we were doing something else anyways.
So you have that. The main entrance has replica logos
from the past handful of WrestleMania's pretty much the last
I think the last five I think they were, or
at least four. I can't remember which ones were. I
(05:38):
know they had like the one from the Buccaneers to
the pirate themed one. They had La one. There's another
one that was right up front and I can't wrote
it was. But then you had like different experiences, Like
they had like a TOPS thing because they're a big
partner with ww right now with their trading cards as
(06:00):
well as they're owned by Phonetics apparently, which I did
not know. But Phonetics does like the the merchant stuff
for WWE, so they had a big presence there. But
they had like an experience where you basically walk through
you can see like all these like one of one
H merch or not merch memorabilia as well as cards
(06:23):
that correspond with them. So you go through and you
can see like Caine's mask and then a card featuring Kane,
so it's kind of cool. Then you go into a
like this experience where you're like standing on the stage
of a are in the ring and you rarely get
a superstar and they come out and it's kind of
like this weird like sort of like VR ish thing.
(06:50):
You know, we're in helmets, like you're on this on
the stage and it has like a wrap around screen
and lighting effects and stuff and like the crowd sounds
around you whatever, and you just basically act like you're
in the ring with that superstar, so we got we
got jay Usso the new heavy undisputed Heavyweight WW champion.
But he did this whole yeat thing, so you're in
(07:11):
there and you like you yeat with him and it
was pretty cool. And then you get and there was
like there's autograph area. There's like photographs, a lot of
them are paid, some of them are freeze at the
waiting line. Then they did the VIP stuff, which like
the day we were there, which was on Monday, the
following Monday of Mania. Uh it was actually John Cena
(07:37):
but also in that area, they were filming the Pat
McAfee show, so he was there and he does a
during major p l E s like WrestleMania. His show
a lot of times on the Friday and the Monday
surrounding those events are wrestling theme. They still talk about
(07:59):
other sports too, but they have like they have guests
from WrestleMania or the pl E on the show. Uh
So when we were there, Paul Hayman was there, John
Cena was there, There's someone else that was up there too,
and that was pretty cool. But you can kind of
see it and they actually you if you watch the program,
(08:22):
you actually see Paige and I walk by and wave
a couple of times because you're the camera faces the
into the end of the w W world, so you
can see like the crowd and stuff like behind the desk,
uh and everything. There's that and like the VIV thing
was like an autograph or I mean a photo op
with John Cena and he had there must have been
(08:45):
three four hundred people in that line and he went
through all of it. I was like, dang, that's wild.
But yeah, so there's that I got. That's when I
got Xavier Woods to sign my UNO cards and my
uh my up Up, Down Down tag ticket they have,
(09:07):
as well as I met Tyler Breeze, which is from
Up Up, Down Down. Almost got a chance to get
a phe of Big Ee, but they pulled him away
because he had to get off to the shoe. It
was like literal at the end of the the the
WB experience thing, and he had to be right. He
basically rushed him off because he has to go get
on and get ready to be on TV because he
was you know, he hosts uh after programming or before
(09:29):
programming and after program and stuff of like the shows
and Monday Night Raw was being filmed there, so yeah,
because in so in this weekend or this past weekend,
starting on essentially Thursdays when everything started. That's when the
store in the in the w W world started, and
(09:53):
they had events going through all the time. So after
part like the nighttime stuff going on with like parties
and stuff where super stars were there, didn't go to
those because not going to the night club. But they had,
like I said, the Convention Center had that stuff in it.
(10:16):
Allegiance Stadium actually obviously had WrestleMania going on in it.
The T Mobile Arena was featured for Friday SmackDown, NXT
Standard Deliver Saturday morning, uh, and then had Monday Night
(10:38):
Raw there and in that same time, I believe it
was on Tuesday when we were getting ready to leave,
they were getting ready to host the Golden Knights.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Okay, yeah, that's quite the transition to go from huge
wrestling event to hockey.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
Well, so that's the thing. And then starting this this
past week was like I think it was actually I
think it's tonight. It might be tonight tonight Sunday. Yeah,
So they had UFC in town the following weekend, said
tough enough yesterday and I have a pay per view tonight.
(11:20):
I think it's UFC three fifteen. I think is tonight.
I can't remember. Yeah, so they were actually so we
originally stayed and this is all over the place, but
originally we stayed at the Rio just because it was
off the strip but close enough people to get there
(11:40):
pretty easily either by car or a quick like uber
taxi ride, but also not close enough to be completely
bogged down with people walking in and around, because it's
like not on the strip. Yeah, it's definitely it's andy.
I guess they just refurbished the rooms, like not too
long ago, so much so that they actually have these
(12:01):
new fridges in them. And uh, one side, very tiny
compartment is a usable side you can use. The other
side is supposed to be filled with like, hey, you
can pay for these drinks in the room type thing.
That side of it wasn't working. I had nothing in
it had a little thing in it had a little thing,
and it's saying so we're covering that basically, like hey,
(12:29):
this is like something that's we're doing in the future.
And I was like, all right, whatever the fuck that's
supposed to mean. We had the rooms were were pretty nice.
We had like a I wouldn't call it a suite,
but it was a pretty nice setup and had a
couch in front of the TV. Yeah, it was like
a pretty big sectional couch and then like the the
(12:53):
bed and the thing, and then uh, pretty a pretty
cool view of off the strip. We could see a
sliver of the sphere from our room entertaining. Yeah, not
enough to see really what was going on?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Did they do anything for WrestleMania No?
Speaker 1 (13:10):
So that was the thing. Is like we expected them
to do like stuff at the sphere, but like they
didn't have anything going on there. It was weird and
it was like during the time, I know, they had
the Grateful Dead thing there, which is I think they
called dead Forever, which is ominously sounding, but whatever, you know,
(13:35):
dead forever, I mean the lead guys have been dead
for years.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Yeah, but they continue.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
It's true. So we thought a bunch of hippies, like,
which is weird to say in twenty twenty five, but
they're definitely hippies. Uh. Like, imagine if it was you,
like who didn't shower for a few days and all
you did is wear a tie, die and flip flops.
There's just a bunch of you walking around. Yeah, dude,
(14:03):
it was. It was wild. Not calling you hippie, but
you have a very hippie vibe if you were dressed
on a chair.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Yeah, I get, I get what you're saying. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
It was funny too because we were at the the
Rio and uh, we're in the little canteena area they
have which is like their food court, fancy name for it,
which had some really good food.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Mother.
Speaker 1 (14:24):
Uh. But they these three dudes walk in. One of
them was obliterated, like he was so gone dude, like
a like, you know, there's a thousand yard stair. This
dude had like a ten thousand yard stale. Dude, he
was vacant, okay, but he was like walking around with
(14:44):
these two dude with his other friends.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Handlers at that point, dude.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah, And they went to this the burger place there,
it was called Ada Boy Burger. And they walk up
and he's like standing there and one dude orders. We're
watching us from our table, we're waiting for our food.
One dude orders. He's standing there. They everyone, the lady
behind the counter, and his two people that were with him,
(15:09):
I don't want to call friends. Whatever. Handlers stare at him,
realize he's not answering, like he's not gonna be saying anything.
Then the third guy orders. Then it's like a comedy,
a comic routine, a comedy routine. At this point turns
and looks back at him, and he says something and
I couldn't hear because they were far enough away. And
(15:32):
then she was like looks and his friend looks at
looks her and goes and says something else and she
just like punches whatever in and they go and they
sit down and they realize that he hasn't moved yet,
so right as they're going over to him, he just
turns and starts walking, but like not in the direction
they were sitting. And I was like, dude, this dude's
(15:52):
fucking burnt out. Bro. Yeah, dude. And he's got the
Grateful Dead like Dead Forever tour shirt on, and it's
like a tied I shirt with like the uh the
sphere stuff on the back of it. I'm pretty sure
it's probably like there's other stops there that this tour
was making, but like this is like I think the
last of it, or maybe the started, but I'm not
too sure. But he has that on and he's like
(16:13):
got cargo shorts on and like industrial fucking sandals, you know,
with this like the clip on straps whatever. Dude. Uh.
And then I realized he has a Fannie pack on
mm hmm. But let's say it's like underneath his T shirt, right,
and he walks by and it's just the strongest smell
of weed, and I was like, Jesus Christ, this guy's
(16:36):
fucking gone, dude.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
This dude's looking down.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Yeah, dude, He's like, Oh, those are those kites? Are cool? Bro,
those are satellites. Yeah, dude. It was so funny, and
we kept like like, I didn't realize that the the
the grateful dead rat, the fear until uh. At one
point we were driving actually I think we're gonna Actually
at that point we're driving, we saw the ad on
(17:04):
the outside of it, uh, saying that dead forever. I
was like, oh, ship, that's why these fucking hippies are here.
And then we whre when we're down the stripy saw
just tons of them.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
I was like, Okay, So funny story about that is
we end up going to the world's largest dispensary.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
While we were there, the world's largest dispense that's.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
What they that's what they call it, which is wild
because I don't think there's other countries that really have dispensaries.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
I don't think so either, but I don't know yourself.
The World series like yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah, it's like you don't really cover the world. You
cover two countries and it's barely that. Yeah, but yeah,
so like because it's the world of the of baseball
whatever it is. Uh so again this is jumping around,
not really cohesive, but whatever, but it doesn't matter. So
we when we were in Vegas hadn't two or three
(18:00):
years ago we saw this ad for and we've been
legal in Vegas for like a while now, I think
like right after California, so like it's been a while.
And we had gone to a couple different dispensaries there
and they're all they're pretty much like dispensaries here. But
page one time was looking something up or we were
(18:21):
actually were outside of a hotel, I think we were
waiting for an uber or something, and we saw an
ad for said plant thirteen, world's largest dispensary. Ok And
we're like, what the fuck? How do you how can
you even say that? Like how big could this fucking
place be?
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Right?
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Okay, first off, it's fucking massive. Okay, So not only
does it have the dispensary, which is just mammoth when
it comes to like, I swear god jo it's not
even a fucking it's not gaslighting or anything. Right, the
sales floor and like the dispensary out of the actual
(19:00):
dispensary of this place was close to the floor space
that surprise best Buy has. That's big, bro, It's fucking massive, dude.
They carry over seven hundred brands. They had a hundred registers,
holy shit. Yeah dude, they were not fully up and
(19:21):
running because it was like a fucking Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (19:23):
But but still, but still, the fact that you can
have a hundred one hundred registers means that you you know,
or think that you're going to be doing a.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Lot of work.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Yeah, dude. Like, and it was. It was pretty busy.
There was a lot of people there, so when you
first walk in, you got you gotta check in minu.
When we pulled up, I do not think this building
was as big as it was. I was like, well,
it's a lot of dispensaries. The front of it was
pretty It looked like a fucking like a front of
a night club or something almost like a front of
(19:52):
a casino. They had one of those big fountains with
the the ball that like this wasn't rotating, but as
the big ball, the water runs out on the fountain,
you know.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
So that right out front, they had like valet parking,
which is fucking wild, yeah, dude. And it was also
where the taxis and ride share would pick you up
a little putting parking up front and then you have
more parking in the back. So I was like, all right,
you know, pull up, and this building was just going
forever and I was like Jesus Christ, and the parking
(20:22):
like way back there. But I found them what up front?
So I grabbed that. We walked in and they have
a driver's lounge, which is hilarious and I had to
look it up on what actually was, and I asked
the dude what exactly it is, and it's a thing
that almost all the dispensaries apparently are adopting there. And
basically what it is is like a little rest pit
(20:44):
area for ride chair people and taxi drivers. So if
if someone says, hey, I want to go to dispensary,
what do you recommend that you can bring him to
this place and then you get like a kickback. So
at Plant thirteen what I was I don't know if
this is true or not. Don't hold it's not gospel.
When they have an air conditioning lounge I can go
(21:05):
into that gives them free drinks which is like water
and sodas and stuff, snacks. Sometimes they've I guess apparently
catered food there for them, and then they get a
cupe on for a free pre roll okay, but they
can't redeem it when they're on the clock. Yeah, so
(21:28):
that they can come back whenever they want and get
a fucking free weed. Again, this is what I was told.
I don't know. I never I never saw. I did
see the area, but I never really saw what was
going on there. But they didn't have a straight up
armed guard there.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
I mean, it makes sense.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
So when you walk in, you get checked in and
there's this thing that I've seen it in some of
the smaller hotels, like I think a couple down on
Fremont Street have them. But there's this inlay on the
floor of like micro display LEDs uh set up and
they have like different things that are projected down on
them and when you step on it in a racks
(22:09):
and this was like coyfish. Yeah, so like you walk
in and you're like, probably looked like we were sucking
high shit because like trying to scare the fish. So
then you walk in. They have an on site tattoo parlor.
They can get tattoos starting as low as ten dollars
that yeah, well they're also like fucking like the size yeah,
(22:32):
like size and half a penny whatever. Right, So they
have that. They have a a robotic assembly line that
is that is packaging edibles and I think infused beverages. Yeah,
(22:53):
and you can watch the robots do their thing, and
I think they're I think it was for like like
part of it. I looked like it might have been
set up for like automated ordering, so if you order something,
they package packaged it in there anyway, so you.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
Would have something like that where you could like I
want so many gummies I want.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Yeah, blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
And it's just like.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Yeah, so I was like, that's fucking wild, just in
his own right. And when it's not working, the rope,
the robots wave at you, which is pretty cute, and
I think they're just programmed to wave at the window.
But it just happened right where we were standing watching.
They like literally like both turn around and wa yeah, like,
oh no, I'm wave back. I don't want you to
(23:38):
be angry at me when you take over.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
This guy waved at us, leave him alone.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
And they have uh, they have a uh I think
I think it's called the Dazed. Yeah. Basically it's like
a consumption lounge. So I thought it was a thing
where you could like buy weed and go there and
like smoke whatever. Right, none of no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
I would think that that'd still be illegal.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Well, because you can smoke it pretty much anywhere you want,
Like they have places that say hey, like no marijuana
smoking here. You can smoke cigarettes NonStop. Yeah, it's like
because they.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Like smoking public.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Oh yeah yeah yeah, it's fucking wild, dude. I don't
know if you're supposed to or not, but everyone does.
Like people are walking on the strip just smoking weed,
which is fucking wild.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Because I figured that it would still be like, no,
you can't do it in public, you have to do
it in your house.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
Yeah, dude. It's like almost every hotel has signs there's
no no smoking or vaping in the rooms whatever. Right,
And like specifically say like no marijuana.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
Specifically, Well, it's not dape and it's not cigarettes, therefore
it must be legal.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yeah, so like they like specify because people trying to
find loopholes and ship. But yeah, you walk outside, you
smell it everywhere. Uh, it's just it's just the thing.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
It's like the neighborhood probably.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
Okay, Yeah, it's like you know when you walk into it,
like when you like classic Vegas, you walk somewhere and
all you smell is like stale year because like people
have spilt everywhere. Now it's that and in like uh
weed smoke. Yeah, so and people just walking on the
strip just fucking smoking weed or whatever.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
It's fucking wild contact everywhere.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
That restaurants are just pumping that.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Shit out probably, I mean they're just fucking it's ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Did the munchies and you're like, oh my god, I
need to eat here.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
So then they the consumption lounge. I thought was like
just like you buy weed, right and then you go
there and you just fucking get blazed blazed, right.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Yeah, like a cigar shop. You can do that a shop.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
Yeah right, No, no, no, no, it's not this is at
all you basically go in there, you sign up, and
it's like a smallie of weed. So like when you
go like fancy places like hotels, especially resorts, they'll have
like wine smallis and like booz smallier's like and like
(25:56):
even like coffee fucking Smallia's right, That's exactly what this is.
So you go in there and you basically do like
this like tasting I guess you could say of like
different different like edibles, vapes, like actual flower like all
of it.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
You're supposed to spit.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I mean you definitely have to inhale, right, like you
definitely have to like I don't know, so you can go.
No one was doing it, but I don't know the
price of it. I was like, this is fucking wild.
But then I walked by when we walked to it,
because we were looking around before we went in a
dispensary because once you're kind of in there, you're you're
in there. You can leave and walk in it out
because they text you and stuff. And I'll talk about
(26:39):
that in a minute. Uh So we were looking at that,
but there was like this little like miniature VW bus Okay,
and I say miniature it looked like you had like
two or three feet chopped off of it, maybe because
it wasn't definitely was not a full size one anyways,
(27:00):
So I'm looking. I was like, maybe it was like
a photo op thing, like you we look like hippies
or whatever. Right, But then we're walking back towards the
dispensary from the Consumption Lounge, and I was like, what
the fuck is that because there's like this little thing
like a button and it's a green button, has a
joint on it, and I was like, what the fucks.
I walk over. It's a literal hot box machine. You
(27:21):
get in, you close the door, you press the button,
and it just pumps in fucking weed smoke and you
hot box in this thing. Yeah, dude. I was like,
that's fucking wild, dude. Yeah. So I was like, oh shit,
all right, well that's that's that's okay whatever, man. Uh
(27:42):
you know. So then we walked into the fucking Disneyland
of Weed where they have all these so the perimeter
is just the registers and then they just display tables.
They have different brands and like they're what they carry,
so like everything from uh, the actual flower from it
(28:03):
had to be in three hundred different brands just of
that vapes, like all the different paraphernalia, batteries for vapes,
interchangeable ones, refillable ones, like all these different ones. And
they had like, uh, Whiz Khalifa's brand was there, which
apparently is the home of Whiz Kalifah's weed. I don't
know if that actually fucking means I maybe, I don't
(28:26):
know that was there. And then you had like I mean,
it was just like whatever. It was fucking wild. But
when you so, when you first come into the dispensary,
they have you sign in to you already checked in
at the front desk to make sure you're you're old
enough to be in there. Yeah, you go in, you
check in, you put your phone number in, uh if
you want, uh, you don't have to even want to,
(28:47):
but this is the easier way of getting it to you.
Uh you can so it can text you when you're
when you're ready to go, to be called up, to
be helped next whatever, right, because not go there's nothing
on the floor you can grab other than merch.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Uh. Yeah, it only allow a certain number of people
in because that's how it is here at Phoenix, right.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yeah, people, Yeah, just for capacity reasons, and this place
is so fucking big that they weren't even close to capacity.
But yeah, they definitely have a capacity limit because it's big,
but it's not like fucking you know, you're not fitting
a thousand people in there. There had been probably forty
or fifty people. And then when we were in there,
(29:27):
So then you check in, you get to peruse and
look around see what it is there, and then you
can like scan QR codes for their menu. There's a
little iPad stations that did not work very well. They
might have been too high to function properly. Uh So
you kind of wander around and look different brands and
different things, and they have like all these different setups
(29:48):
and stuff. And then they have these vertical monitors every
few oftens that actually have a scrolling list of who's next,
and it has your initials and then your number, and
it basically tells you what or you're in and so
you can kind of watch keep an eye on, like
when you're close to it, and so you can get ready.
(30:08):
But yeah, it was fucking wild and it was like
it literally has to be the world's biggest, like world's
largest dispensary. It was so fucking big Joe. It's like
I can't even Actually, I don't even know if I
took it. I know I took a Pokemon photo and
then I was in there because I was Pokemon and going,
why isn't it? But I don't know if I actually
took any photos other than that.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
How was it? Uh?
Speaker 3 (30:35):
I'm trying to envision like what it looked like in
the obvious the only like weed shop and it wasn't
even a weed shop. It's the only place I've ever
been in there that's weed adjacent to was that uh
that one place by uh Burgis and Bruise.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
Oh, the smoke shop Olia?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:51):
Is it something like that where it seems very like
they have a ship tone of just like weird paraphernalia there,
and then the weird mirrors and stuff that they have
all around the place. The snack section that they had
from you know, small sack checks section but like from
all around the world.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
Was it something like that?
Speaker 1 (31:08):
Yeah? So like this is I can show. I can't
I can post this on fucking the website if I
wanted to, but this is what it looks like if
you can.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
Oh, that's the Pokemon I was like what the hell
is that that would scare people like high people walking
in Like what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (31:25):
So that's that's part of it. That's like I'm about
a third there's a third of this behind me essentially,
so you can kind of see how big this place
is and the thing the big bright wall back there
is actually a video wall that kind of wraps around
one corner and that plays ads and stuff on there
and like atmospheric stuff. Yeah, it's pretty fucking wild in there, dude,
(31:47):
Like it was. It was pretty crazy. Yeah, So there's that.
That was just fucking just mind blowing how big it was.
So then so was that was actually when we were
leaving town on Tuesday. So go back to like the
(32:09):
takeover of Vegas. So at the Fountain Blue, which is
a newer hotel. Uh, they were doing uh they did
the Hall of Fame presentation there. They did the roast
of WrestleMania with Tony Heathcliff or Heathcliff or whatever his
name is, which apparently is pretty funny and so like
(32:32):
raucous that like w W has been like removing videos
from online of it because they didn't air it. I
don't know if they're gonna air it, but like they're
like clips are being yeah, clips are being like flagged
and like deleted because of it. Yeah, so I was like,
this is fucking wild. But so that was there. Then
(32:53):
n XT regular NXT on Tuesday was actually there Tuesday
night was there. There's something else that was happening there
to you, and I can't remember it was, it doesn't matter.
And then in the lobby of the Fountain Blue is
actually a photo op. I don't know if I sent
it to you guys or not.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
It was the wrestling belt.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yeah I did, right, yeah, yeah, so yeah, yeah, so
that was inside the Fountain Blue. I'll I can post
that on the website.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
I want that to be the real size of the
belts too. It's just like, what the fuck, They're bigger
than I thought. No, it's just huge human beings that
are holding them.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Yeah. Oh, this is the view of our This is
the view from our room at the Rio.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Oh damn.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
So that's this one over here is the big tower,
the new tower for Rio. But that's basically where we
were compared to the strip. Yeah, so not.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
That far fair, but like not far enough, not so far.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yeah, so the sliver of the the sphere you can
see from there is that little like so right right there. Yeah,
that's the top of the sphere. Okay, so we could
see part of it. You couldn't really see what was
going on there, but yeah, so basically, like the rio
is like directly behind Caesar's Palace on the other side
(34:15):
of the highway. Okay, which I think is the I
forty or the one twenty five portion. I don't know
which one that is, sir, I don't remember which one
it is. Yeah, so there's that. So then we stayed
there Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and we left their Monday morning,
(34:38):
and then Paige and I stayed at MGM for one
night because we extended our stay of one more day.
And from there we actually had a better view of
the sphere.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah it's blown out, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Yeah it's and this picture it is hard to see,
but that's the video okay. Yeah, yeah, so you can
see that. It was pretty cool. Yeah that's a slightly
better photo.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Oh yeah, I can see it definitely. That's a very grateful,
dead looking Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
So yeah, that was pretty cool from there. Yeah, like that,
so like they had that all stuff of the fountain
blue and then a bunch of the hotels. MGM actually
was one of them, had displays up where they had
one of those replica belts. And what's funny about it
is so we saw it when we were walking around
(35:31):
one day before I think it was on Friday, that
is when I blew my feet out, which is great
because that was the beginning of a fucking trip. So
we walked, we drove down and parked at the Aria,
which has got like an underground parking structure, well above
ground and an underground parking structure because they're attached to
(35:51):
like a fancy mall, so you can park there and
it's either cheap or free depending on what you're doing.
But they have a train that kind of a bunch
of the hotels, So we basically made like a horseshoe
back or a loop around the strip. That way went
to all those ones and we were walking around. But
the MGM and their lobby where they normally have a
(36:12):
big thing set up with the Golden Lion and flowers,
they had a wwe ropes around it and with it
with one of those those belts. Like I took a
picture over in front of the lion, and you can
take a picture in front of it and all that
stuff that was on So Monday when we checked in,
that was there. Tuesday when we checked out and we're
(36:32):
going back down there, it had been switched out to
a UFC and they had an octagon set up around
the Lion. I was like, this is literally Disneyland shit,
Like yesterday, last night it was this, this morning, it's this,
and I was like this damn, but yeah, I say
that like those kind of things set up in different places.
(36:54):
We never made it down to Fremont Street, which apparently
had they were supposed to have a giant replica belt
you can take a picture in front of. Then people
are saying it wasn't actually that big, and I was like, okay, whatever.
So we never made it down to Fremont Street to
look at it. But apparently they were doing like on
the screen that goes over the top of the Fremont
Street was WrestleMania themes stuff, so they like they would
(37:18):
show like clips from WrestleMania's and stuff and then advertisements
of the card and stuff, and I was like, that's
kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
So it was like a full on fucking Vegas takeover
so much so that like Vegas or WW said they
they're looking to come go back to Vegas for ESTMANI
again within the next like handful of years.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
I wouldn't doubt it.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
It is like much with what people said about the
super Bowl being there. It definitely is a place fitted
for that kind of stuff.
Speaker 3 (37:50):
You have all the hotels there that you're not relying
on the city's Glendell to make sure that there's enough
hotels even for just the the the entertains, you know,
to stay there. You have stuff for the people to
stay there, to travel from all over the world. I'm
sure to stay there, and then you just have stuff
to do, you know.
Speaker 2 (38:12):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
You could literally go ride a roller coaster one second,
see if does strip show the next second, and then
go and eat somewhere that has some famous celebrities name
on it. Yeah, so there's a ship ton of stuff
to do there that I could definitely see them going back.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
Yeah, And it was I mean, there was definitely a
great host city for it too, because there is all
that stuff obviously Joe has mentioned, and like just the
fact that it's it's spacious enough to where it's like
it's not super spread out like doing an event here.
The Obviously the bigger stadium is in Glendale, and there's
(38:52):
like nothing around Glendale because right still, but our convention
center is downtown, so like that would be like part
of it. And then obviously there's this the stadium down
there which you could do stuff at. And then obviously
at the same place where the is it State Farm
(39:13):
still whatever the Cardinal Stadium is in that same area.
Is the another arena you could use which used to
be the home of the Coyotes.
Speaker 2 (39:22):
Coyotes is still calling jobbing dot com.
Speaker 1 (39:26):
I think it's like I think it's a desert diamond arena,
to tell you the truth.
Speaker 2 (39:30):
I feel bad for them because they're not sponsoring jack Ship.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
But then you also have like, uh what used to
be known as the Footprint Center now of the Phoenix Arena,
which is where the Suns play. Yeah, uh so you
have like that, but again they're like they're so separated
and like I wouldn't say hard to get to, but
like downtown is pretty fucking.
Speaker 3 (39:56):
It's hard to get to if you're trying to do
stuff across the city and you just have traffic everywhere.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Yeah. Yeah, so like it's definitely not fitting for any
of that. But Vegas is there's so much nearby, and
the fact that like the Tiamo Arena and the Legion
are like half a block away from each other, which
is wild because like they're like the Legion is a
(40:23):
fucking giant mammoth stadium, uh that you can't miss. Uh
unless you're on the trip, you can't see it at all.
But so is the team O Arena. Again, very large
places where the Golden Knights play and probably whatever NBA
team's gonna nevily be there. They have a they have
a ladies basketball team I think there. If I remember,
(40:47):
I saw they have something and they have something called
the the Aviators. I forgot to look up what it was.
I don't know. It might be a baseball team, I
don't know. Anyway, So they have that and then eventually
I guess they're gonna get the The A's are going
there too. Wherever they're fucking putting that thing team, I
(41:13):
thought it was so Yeah, So there's that. I mean,
obviously you have like the there's the raceway there that
you could use if you want an outdoor stuff there. Uh.
Weather was pretty good, but windy as fuck a lot
of the days, but it was never really that hot,
except that on Tuesday we were leaving, it was like
in it was like creeping up to the nineties. Yeah,
(41:37):
so you have like so much stuff you could do there,
and they did. They had stuff fucking everywhere and they're
literally there for like, like I said, event wise starting
on Thursday all the way to Tuesday night with stuff
going on, it's like almost a full week, Like you
had five solid days of stuff happening. We're like Thursday
(41:58):
was basically just the shop stuff, but like all the
other stuff was there too, like the like around the strip.
But then like Friday was SmackDown the Hall of Fame.
Oh and that was the other thing of the film
Blue was the Undertaker One Man or One dead Man
Show was that I was there too. Podcast right, No,
(42:19):
that's his like his like basically goes there and tell
stories and answers questions about his career kind of basically
breaking k fabs as they say, so basically behind the
curtain stuffy, and so he talks about like creating, like
he'll go over stories about creating the character, like going
from uh being a no name person to basically evolving
(42:42):
into the Undertaker, and then obviously the things going on
through and he he'll he'll take talking points about like
some of people's favorite matches and some of his favorite
matches and stuff like that. So he'll tell stories from
the road and I guess pretty fun. We were gonna go,
but then we decided not to why. I have no idea.
(43:03):
Maybe because we just pussy footing around and never went,
uh and did it. But yeah, so there's that was
there as well. Friday or Friday night I think it was.
Maybe that was Saturday. No, Saturday night was something else,
it doesn't matter. Uh. And then Saturday morning from the
tim Ol Arena was an Xtcanda delivery which is there
(43:23):
pl which had a crazy ass six ladies fucking ladder match.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
Oh damn.
Speaker 1 (43:31):
It was for the women's Intercontinental Championship. I think was
it or you know, was it or is that the
US champion I came which one was four? But and
that's just fucking gnarly. So they have that Saturday morning.
Then starting Saturday afternoon was the kickoff of WrestleMania, which
(43:53):
I think started at shortly after that was like was
it like noon or one o'clock, And that's when they
start doing like stilly rampant. Oh and then I'm sorry
Friday I forgot was the kickoff show at Allegiance Stadium
where they bring out like a bunch of the superstars
that talk smacked each other before, like kind of introducing
the card or cards because there's two nights and it's
(44:16):
hosted by Matt Pat McAfee and Michael Cole driple Itch
comes out and all the fun stuff. So that was
there and you can walk. You can go that for
free if you wanted to go down there and stand
in the mass and out in front of the stadium.
They had like a WrestleMania shop which only had WrestleMania
stuff and it didn't really have anything else there did anything?
Uh no, so every time. So this is the thing
(44:36):
that really pissed Page off. Is her favorite wrestler is
Seth freaking Rawlins obviously. Yeah yeah, so he only had
two shirts there.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Yeah, fucking wild, Like it was so weird and she's
course freaking out. She's like, oh, thinking, is he getting released?
Is he going somewhere? Like no, he's not going somewhere.
It's just like he may not have any new merch
but still, but.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
It was it was so weird.
Speaker 1 (45:04):
Yeah, dude. It is fucking wild, dude, especially since he's
like in one of the main events. Okay, like it
was like he was the main event. He was part
of the main event for site for a seat or
for night one mm hmmm, And I was like, he
has even actually and it's funny. Roman didn't even have
that many shirts there, and he was one of the
other one of the other people that was in the
(45:25):
main event on Saturday night with him was it was
it was punk Roman and Seth and he didn't he
had like his OTC shirt there, and he had like
one or two other ones that I saw, and I
was like, this is fucking wild. But yeah, the the
store was massive, but it was actually very lacking in
(45:46):
diversity for how many superstars are.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
Like a pop up thing would did they spirit Halloween
something or.
Speaker 1 (45:53):
The part of the part of the convention center. Yeah,
so they used one big asshole. Part of it was
a very very large section. But then I saw how
much the rest of the section was and I was like, oh,
like never mind, Like the rest of it's very massive,
and that's it wasn't even fully used. But the store
is pretty fucking big, but it had like different sections
(46:15):
and they had different like they had a couple different areas,
Like they had a place where you could, like you
could buy belts, like replica belts that are like upwards
of like I think the cheapest one is like five hundreds.
When I say the replicas, they're like exact replicas of
what like the actual wrestlers get. So maybe with the
(46:36):
actual leather and like, I don't think they have precious gemstones,
but I don't even think the ones that the wrestlers
get to have those because there'd be a lot of
diamonds and that's just you're gonna get robbed for sure.
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Plus you know when you smash somebody over the head
with it, it might hurt a little bit.
Speaker 1 (46:48):
Yeah, just slice the motherfuckers open diamonds and ship yeah
hard Gord champion Son. So yeah, they had like and
they a bunch of different belts from like the different eras,
like the different versions of the wing Eagle belt, all
the current belts. They had the Spinner belts there, they
(47:09):
had the Triple H belt. The one belt I did
not see they had on they didn't have on display
was the Fiend Belt, which was like the Fiend's mask
stretched over the Championship. They didn't actually have that one
for sale. I don't even know if they still sell
that one, just because Brey's not around anymore. But yeah,
so you could buy those, and they had NXT belts.
(47:31):
They had all the WWE belts. They had a Money
in the Bank poker set, so you could buy the
money in the Bank briefcase, but then you could buy
a poker set that was inside the briefcase, which was
pretty cool. I actually almost bought that, and I was like,
I don't know, you're a guy, but like I the
(47:54):
lady let me actually take a look at it, and
the cards seem kind of cheap, but whatever. But it
was cool because it was like it actually has like
uh combination lock on it, popular latches and stuff.
Speaker 2 (48:06):
Is pretty cool.
Speaker 1 (48:08):
Yeah that's pretty rad. I was like, this is a
pretty nice view because I'm like a lie, So yeah,
you do that. Like then they have like a little
memorabilia area which had like sign stuff in it, like
signed pictures. UH had yeat glasses are signed by Jay
usso they had uh football helmets for some strange reason.
(48:31):
Uh whatever.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
Yeah, if we have these extras, you guys just want
to I don't know, slap stickers on it.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Yeah, they were basically Wrestlemingia Vegas them.
Speaker 2 (48:39):
It's basically fanatics.
Speaker 1 (48:41):
Yeah, they just have these.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
Storage do you want to slap a new sticker on
it and just sell it whatever?
Speaker 1 (48:47):
So, so they had those, uh, and they had miniature
ones as well as large ones. They had signed pop vinyls,
signed wrestling figures one of the cool ones which I
probably should have got but it didn't. They actually had uh,
limited to forty of them, and they were actual turnbuckles,
(49:08):
no covers. Like the covers that they had had the
WrestleMania logo on them. And they were signed by random
superstars not random, it was random because it wasn't like
only these superstars. There was a bunch of different ones.
And there's a Cody Rhodes one and I should have
got it, but I didn't.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
How much was it?
Speaker 1 (49:23):
I think there were seventy five that's not bad. Yeah, yeah,
I was like, ah, but they were pretty cool and
they had like.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
A cello was on their on their website too, I know,
not for WrestleMania obviously, but for random stuff.
Speaker 1 (49:38):
Yeah. Yeah, but these were cool because they were limited
to forty, Like there's only forty of them. Actually, I'm
sorry surprised. I think it was only forty one of
them because there were many forty once there might have
been forty.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
Surprised that they would have sold out immediately.
Speaker 1 (49:50):
Yeah, that's it's true.
Speaker 3 (49:51):
It was we eighty bucks for something like that for
a signed piece of memorabilitia for WrestleMania. Nonetheless, Yeah, I'm
surprised that just didn't like fly out the door before
you even got to see them.
Speaker 1 (50:02):
Yeah. So, and then they had some other stuff that
was pretty respectacularly expensive in there too. But they have
like large photos from different moments throughout the years of
different superstars you're current, as well as old ones that
were signed that were like pretty expensive, like two seventy
for some of them, but they were pretty good photos. Actually,
Paige and a free seth Rollins photo, not signed but
(50:25):
free but free?
Speaker 3 (50:27):
Were they just handing them out outside like they do
with stripper cards?
Speaker 1 (50:31):
This thing dude like this? Oh yeah? Actually, like real,
I don't know if you see the sticker or not.
Speaker 3 (50:36):
I see the sticker, so it just means that it's
an authentic Wrestlevania or www FW.
Speaker 1 (50:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (50:44):
So yeah, like I obviously I'm not a huge wrestling person,
so I had to think about that for a second.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
It's like, what error are we in the lovech eraser? Yeah,
so she ended up getting that, But those ones are
like they sell those for like forty bucks. Oh yeah yeah,
So like I was like, all right, fucking wild. I
was like, all right, free is free. So it was cool.
And then, uh, what else was in there? They had
(51:15):
h j Uso Cereal frosted yeat flakes I think it
was called. Yeah, it's so weird. You can actually order
those on the store and now see if you want.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
I'm sure because they do. They still sell the.
Speaker 1 (51:32):
Bodos, I don't think, so, I don't think anymore. I
have I have a box of Boudios. Yeah. But uh yeah,
so you had that, they had, uh what else they had? Oh?
And so they had mystery signed miniature helmets that they
had a list of like potentially who could be on there,
(51:53):
and they could have anywhere from one to up upwards
of four signatures on them, and it was all mystery
and they're authenticated by who I have no idea. And
they were doing this live thing where you could like
have the dude open it for you, and like kind
of like do a reveal of it, and this one
(52:13):
guy got uh two signatures on his yeah oh yeah yeah,
because he ended up getting Biggie to sign it. Yeah.
So he had Kofe and Xavier already on the helmet.
But big E, who does who doesn't wrestle because of
a neck injury he hasn't been cleared for yet, does
stuff there and he was That's where we almost met
(52:35):
him because he did a live They do a live
things with phonetics or fanatics where they do like auctions
and stuff for simnon memorabilia that gets signed live on
their broadcast and then you can the auction it off
right there. And they do card openings too, like unpacking
of older cars as well as newer cards. But he
hosted with Tyler Breeze and so a guy asked if
(52:56):
he would sign it, and he's like, yeah, sure, So
he signed it. So added the third New Day member
to that fucking helmet.
Speaker 3 (53:01):
So that's do because only have two of them feels
just like a slap in the face of just like,
oh my god, seriously give me two of the three.
Speaker 1 (53:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
So I was like, okay, just have him sign it
like it should never be that.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Oh sorry, So yeah, so that was there. That was there,
and then you had like all the shirts, wrestling figures,
funk Co pops, foam from yeat hands. Uh for some reason,
logan Paul Wigs not too sure w Yeah, but like
no one was buying him.
Speaker 2 (53:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (53:41):
I was like, well you shouldn't support him anyways. Yeah,
they had like the like pages kind of like looking
for different stuff, Like there wasn't really any good seth
Rowlin shirts, but uh, she was looking for different stuff.
There was like a l a night vest that looks
(54:02):
like his thing has lat Knight's logo all over it.
That's pretty cool. There's Alexa Bliss Fiend Forever Sure our jacket.
This was what a replica of the jacket she wore
when she returned to or Rumble earlier this year. They
had a new clothing line which came remember the name
of it, but it was like this basic metal band
logo stuff. It was a partnership with Rheo Ripley. But
(54:24):
they also had to see him punk jacket that were
like two d and fifty dollars or something like that. Yeah,
they were pretty cool, but I was like, that's fucking
too sensive for a jacket. They had hockey jerseys they
had so they had to make your own custom jersey station,
customs hat station. You could get like a custom hat
(54:46):
made with different WrestleMania patches. They had a the kids section,
women's section off on stuff that had a Hall of
Fame section that had all the Hall of Fame inductees.
They had shirts for them up there, a bunch of
John c and stuff Onuncie road stuff, a bunch of
sea and punk stuff, a bunch of cool sweaters and
(55:06):
stuff which like I'm never gonna use, but there was
a couple of them. They had a cool Roosevelt shirt
that didn't have my size, so that was fun. Yeah,
what else they have plushies? Well, they have these big
uh WrestleMania logo necklaces done these big fake gold chains,
(55:30):
but it was like the Las Vegas logo of Las
Vegas sign but it's like welcome to WrestleMania on it,
so you get those. It was pretty funny. What else
is in there? It was a bunch of just a
bunch of cool stuff. A very big store, just not
any enough seth rolling stuff for page and it was
(55:50):
pretty random. It was in there. Too, like it was
so funny. So I know you don't fall wrestling, but
there's a big storyline right now with the Rock being
the final Boss, and I'm gonna expect him to be
at WRESTLEMANI and he was not WrestleMania because he made
this big thing about like at Elimination Chambier coming out
and confronting Cody Roads and saying I want your soul.
(56:11):
It's just fucking wild, just so crazy. And that's when
John Tena turned heel kicked Cody rather than the Nuts
and joined the Rocks little faction. So I when expected
during the Cody Roads John Tena match for the Rock
to show up, he never did. Travis Scott came out,
which he's been involved. He's a rapper. If you don't
know who Travis Scott is. He came out, helped Sina
(56:34):
essentially win, blah blah blah. Right, no sign of the
Rock whatsoever. Motherfucker wasn't even in Vegas apparently, because he
did a phone call interview Tuesday morning with Pat McAfee
and he's like, now, I wasn't in Vegas at all,
and then gave some weird explanation about like why he
didn't need to be there because it was like it
(56:55):
was John's story to deal. I was like, we won
to fuck whatever. But in the story or they had
a a rock is in Vegas shirt, but he wasn't
in Vegas. Yeah, so I was like, well, interesting.
Speaker 3 (57:12):
Maybe he was initially intended to be in Vegas but
something else came on.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Maybe I don't know, Yeah, this is fucking weird. I
was like, all right, whatever. So that was pretty much
all it for down there at the convention Center. Like
I said, there's two things. The store was down there
and then the ww world was there. Someone burnt some pizza,
so halfway through the day on Monday, it's like burnt
pizza in there.
Speaker 2 (57:36):
Worse.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Yeah, I'm like kind of like I was like it
was kind of accurate in there, but I was like, man,
I'm guessing this is actually better than it was burnt
popcorn because that shit gets fucking yeah or both. Yeah,
Like that was cool. I think it was always in there. Yeah,
(57:58):
did you guys.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
Go to eat anywhere? That was really good.
Speaker 1 (58:03):
So we ate a couple of times at the Rio
just because it's convenient. Was there and we were watching
Mania from a hotel room because oddly enough, they actually
had the TV they had and they were LG's and
they had chrome casts built into them. Oh cool, so
I could stream right from my iPad right to the
TV because I brought an h and I cable and
stuff and do that. But then I had the streaming.
I was like, oh, just plug my iPad in and
(58:23):
just streaming. It was fucking great. Yeah, it was like
a I I want to say, it was like a
seventy seven inch damn. Yeah, it was pretty nice. I
was like, Okay, it's definitely bigger than this. I could
be in seventy five, but like I think LG only
does seventy sevens. Yeah, I was like it was pretty nice.
I was like, oh, and the Internet wasn't half bad
for what it was, so I was like, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
But uh they uh so we ate down there. They
had a Ramen play it was really good. They had
Tony Luke's which was pretty good. That this the cheese
steak place from the Philly area. I believe they had
(59:10):
a original Chicken Tenders place there. It's called literally called
the Original Chicken Tenders. They had the Atta Boy Burger Place,
a sushi place. They had a burrito place that was
really pretty good called Sonoran Burrito, which I need to
(59:31):
look up and see it's actually from here, right because
it was. I had a bomb ass fucking brito from there,
just packed full of beans, rice, chicken, guacamole, salsa, like
all sorts. It was so good. The Ronen Place was
really good too, So we had those places in there.
Guy uh Fieri has a Mexican cantina that's only open
(59:54):
at night there that was pretty cool. They had a
hash Hash a go go, which would not go to
this time, but we wentast time.
Speaker 3 (01:00:01):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
But we ate the Robin Place, we ate the Tony Luke's,
We ate at the Burrito place. We ate a Smashburger
because there's Smashburger on the other side of the hotel,
which is pretty cool. Uh. We got Wetels Pretzels because
there's Weel's there too. Then we went and uh, Paige
and I went and ate at Mama Fuco, which is
(01:00:25):
David chose restaurant at the Cosmopolitan, which was amazing. Uh.
We were gonna go the Wicked Spoon and you try
to get to do a buffet, but like, we didn't
reserve a spot. And then it was. The line was
an hour long. We're like fuck this. Uh but what
else did we eat? Oh? We ate the hard Rot
(01:00:47):
or the House of Blues Monday night, Yeah, Monday Night.
Now it's inside the what hotel's that name? Money? No?
Is it luxor?
Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
Not luxor what's next to it? Mendleay Bay was the
Manley Bay, which is right like that's where Allegiance is.
It's right behind man Lay Bay. Uh? What else? I
think that's all we really ate, I think other than
snacks and random ship ye, I think that's it. Yeah.
(01:01:27):
We brought a bunch of snacks with us because we
stopped that fries before we headed up and they had
like a bunch of just random chips and candy and
shit like that. Seeds Yeah, those seeds are real good.
The only bed so a LEAs the mic and chee
chiqu real quick before we wrap this up. Those seeds
are called smacking seeds or snack smacking seeds R Yeah,
(01:01:50):
smacking seeds. Flavors are really good, like the o G one,
which is just the basically salted one solid solid solid
fire seed, the crack black pepper one really good, the
cheddarhall opinion one was really good. The promise garlic one
was really good. But those three crack black pepper, uh
(01:02:12):
the cheddarhall openo in the promise on garlic or garlic
palmesan what it is they leave residue on your hands
because it's like the seasoning residue, and it coaching him
pretty good because like you're putting in your mouth and
I guess you could suck them long enough to get
all that off, but like when you spit the seeds out,
(01:02:33):
if you're putting in your hand before you put spin
in something, or even when you're holding them before you
put in your mouth, they start to get like starts
to coat your hand. So that was the only bad thing, yeah,
you know, but other than that, it was still really good. Okay,
they were really good. Uh not a sponsor, but if
they want to, that's fine to me. So yeah, so
(01:02:55):
that was pretty much it, I think, really if for
anybody who's a WW fan. I did take a photo
with Green Shirt Guy, which is.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Crazy photos, but okay, like that being a big.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
Yeah, so green shirt guy the photo I took where
he basically it's him and I and he's like pointing
at me. He has a hat and a goatee and
you can kind of see green shirt. He's he's famous
for being the green shirt guy because ever since I
want to say it was like two thousand, probably three
(01:03:34):
or four, this dude is in prominent at wrestling, at
wrestling events front row uh and on camera side like
so like facing like camera faces him. Sees him every
pl if you watch a pl any pay per view
from the last I mean even out of the country,
this dude is almost exact same spot every time, right
(01:03:57):
against the barricade right there. Wild to see to become
he's gonna become infamous basically because of it, because like
no one knows who he is, no one knows he has.
Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
To make pretty good money if he's traveling overseas.
Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
Yeah, like and getting the exact same spot every time.
It's fucking wild.
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
There's like rumors like yeah, like there's rumors that he's
related to a REF. But the thing with that is
there's only a few refs that have been with the
company that long, so it's like it could probably narrow
it down pretty good. But like it's wild too because
like he interacts. But then like this year and I
don't know if it was any different than other years,
but like this year at Mania on night too, he
(01:04:37):
walked down the ramp with yeah with like with Stu
uh uh, I was gonna call him Stu Wade Barrett
one of the one of the announcers, and then uh
night one for one of the matches he was actually
he was he was able to ring the bell.
Speaker 2 (01:04:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:04:59):
So I was like someone said it was like a VIP
package that he bought or something. I was like, Jesus
fucking Christ, that's wild, dude, right.
Speaker 3 (01:05:06):
That would have cost if it was a VIP package,
just like a B I P I P I P
I P.
Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Yeah. That was like, fucking that's that's like m v
P package. Yeah, so that was that. That was that.
That was pretty cool. But yeah, that was about I
think that's everything.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
Well cool. Sounds like you guys had a lot of
fun there.
Speaker 1 (01:05:24):
It was. It was it was quite a good time.
Uh you know. Yeah, So I guess that's it for
this week's episode. Comes naturally. We have been Joe, I've
been Cody, and as usual, you fuckers just came naturally.
Speaker 2 (01:05:39):
Bye.
