Speaker 1 (00:01):
Sup Sup. That was less than a minute.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
But yeah, I was gonna say I was not prepared.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
Yeah the computer for you being so prepared, Yeah, the
computer was uh updating stuff.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I was like, oh no, no, yeah, mine was being
a little weird because I sent the message ready and
then it was a few like thirty seconds later It's
like that didn't send it.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Eric.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
I was like, okay, like bitch, I had to resend it,
resend it, resend it.

Speaker 5 (00:39):
M yeah, oh that definitely is not updated.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
You're not updated. Boom got him.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
He did get me. Everybody.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
He did indeed get me. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
I have been got you got got, bitch.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
J Christ Joe.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
To quote Breaking Bad.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
To quote Breaking Bad. Speaking of Breaking Bad, do you
see their reuh vitalizing Malcolm the Middle.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Yeah, I saw that a little while ago. Why I
don't know more than that though, So if you know
more more about it, inform me.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
But yeah, all I know is like, yeah, we're just
revite there.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Like I don't even know if it's a remake, if
it's a sea, if it's you know, not a sequel,
but like continuation or something or one of those things
like they did with Boynet's World where it's now you know,
Frankie Munez would be the dad type thing.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
So it's a it's a revival, I guess you could say.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
So it's like boy Meets World.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, so I know they started filming like recently. Okay,
I'm trying to find that article I saw the other day.
This is my news. Isn't updating on my computer from
my phone?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Stupid thing? That would be interesting. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
On the one hand, I say it'd be interesting to
see Frankie Muniz play basically hal you know, yea his
version of it.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
But at the same time, it's like, I'm never gonna
watch it. I'm just gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yet. No, I'm not either. I just I saw in
the middle.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I truly did. It was a fantastic show.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
But I also liked uh boy boy Meets World, And
I have never seen a single episode of Wherever.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I don't even know if it's still going of the
new series.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Oh no, I think they ended it.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Okay, I think.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I say that, but I'm not too sure.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
It's also one of those things that you know obviously
aired on some ABC CBS channel and the only way
I get those now is Hulu, and I don't watch
any of that stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
The reason I brought it up as I saw just
saw an ad for article for that new Wes Anderson
movie with everybody in it, and it's that clip of
it's called the Phoenician.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Oh is it the scheme?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I didn't know that there was a there was an
actual clip for it, yet I read an article.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Man, Okay, that's a lie. I read a headline.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Joe read an article which that was basically what he
means he saw.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
The line was everything I needed to read, which was
basically the Nicio del Toro got stopped in an airport
because the TSA agents or whatever it was wanted to
read found the script for it.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
It was like, all right, that's all I need to know.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
Thank you, thank you for putting it in the in
the title so I didn't actually have to click on.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
The article and read it.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, it was basically the article is basically saying that
there's a newest the two newest clips or ads whatever
you want to call for him is one with Brian
Kranston uh and the other one is Tom Hanks and
they're both about basketball. And I guess they Okay, I
guess they're saying they debuted during NBA or something. I'm

(04:43):
not too sure. I didn't like I said, I didn't
really read it. I just saw a thing and it
made me laugh because it's got Brian Cranston and he's
wearing a headband and he has this like shitty mustache,
and I keep seeing the attic on YouTube. He's like,
he's like, this is a backhanded layup. It's like in
a like, I don't know, it's so weird. It's Wes Anderson,
so who knows?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Right, I did just sparked my memory of them talking
about the Malcolm the Middle.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Fair enough.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Other than that only gives a whole lot. Why is
this not updating to my history? I know I've read
more articles on the news than this. Well, I mean
that says from the newest Ones from five days ago.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
You always seem to have that problem.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
While you look that up, damn it right to go.
The trailer that you sent for the expanse, that's surprising.
I haven't looked up much more into it since you posted,
and I watched it again this morning.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Is there any more information like release date?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I don't think so I'm gonna pull it up right now,
Dane experience.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Oh right, o Cyrus Reborn?

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah, any like plot information either, because Jesus that was just.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Like it was a.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Decent like cinematic at the beginning, which, by the way,
I'm watching the cinematic. I'm watching the cinematic and I'm like, Okay,
this looks really good.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Uh, this is more than likely going to end up
being like an RTS game.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I'm betting, Ah, I could see what you think. That's yeah, yeah, so.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
I'm not going to ever play it. And then it
finally gets into the what they showed at the BOT,
which was the pre alpha footage, and it's like, oh,
this is a cover based shooter.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Is this is this Division in Space? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I got very Division vibes after h I've.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Ever seen the shield pop the dude popped the shield
and the little drone came out and also the drone thing,
and I was.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Like, this is the Division in Space? I kind of
love that idea. Yes please?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
And do we get to actually walk on the roof
and with our grab boots? Because right, that's rad?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Right?

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Do I have the like Obviously there are so many
questions of like can I play with multiple people?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Is this a multiplayer game? What is this?

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Hey? So apparently it must be coming out soon because
you can already pre order it for fifty bucks.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
See even that's like so inexpensive for a game. I
was a developer of Warhammer forty k.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah. Al, there's a two hundred and eighty nine dollars
Collector's edition that comes with a ship, a medallion, patches, stickers,
a spaceship, the spaceship figurine. It's on a little standy,

(08:08):
an art book, and a collector's box. Cool, and then
downloadable content includes everything from the digital packs, which is
the standard pack. It's forty gets you the main game
digital copy and then early adapt adopter item and then
a Discord roll. And then there's the Deluxe Pack for

(08:32):
sixty dollars, which gets you everything included in the standard
digital pack, a Spec Ops Assault rifle, Miller's OPA heavy armor,
and then digital goods is in game credits.

Speaker 7 (08:49):
That was kind of.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Another question that I had, like who are these people?
They wore red tinted suits, so they are the MCRN.
But it's see any patches or insignias that I But
I actually.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Didn't see any.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Unless they they.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Didn't have the hardcore belter accents either, so.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
It was like that a little bit of belter speak.
The other accent wasn't heavy. And then there's a Miller's
pack which includes everything from the last one but also
includes Miller's pistol, Miller's casual outfit, and then digital goods
is art book, digital ost and Hall of Fame. Okay, well,

(09:36):
becoming a founder. Oh it's like a kickstarter in a way.
Oh really, yeah, so I just read about the I
just realized what I was reading on this other one.
The deluxe pack you get, you get your name in
the credits, so it's like a kickstarter in a way.
So there's no I don't think there's a release date

(09:58):
yet for it, but there you can buy into it
basically to help fund it.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Kind Of concerning that, I don't know, that's weird, Like
if it's coming from the same studio that's done that
did Warhammer forty K but they're semi kickstarting this thing,
that's a little weird. IGN has a little bit more
information on it about a little bit about the plot here.

(10:26):
It says Alcat said fans of the TV show will
encounter familiar faces, with some of the actors reprising their
roles but stopping short of naming any. The story sees
players assume the role of a pink water security mercenary
trapped on Eurostation during a deadly lockdown. You lead a crew,
take command of a ship, and navigate the Solar System.

(10:49):
We've been dreaming about building sci fi.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Blah blah blah for the world's ground baking and realism complexity,
perfect for story telling, blah blah blah. There was a
little more worn worry, where was it out here? It

(11:15):
is timeline wise.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Expanse of Cyrus Reborn is set to during the first
two and a half seasons of the show or the
first two books. The events of the game occur alongside
the major events that transpire across the universe and the
Expanse TV show slash books during that time. No release
date yet, but al Katz said the Expanse of Cyrus

(11:37):
Reborn is coming soon to Steam, Epic Game Store, go Og,
Xbox x NS series X and S, and PlayStation five.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Please note the last gen consoles such as Xbox one
and PlayStation four will not be supported.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
I mean it makes sense at this point. They're how
those are howled at this point. I mean like from
when the series X and S released, it's like two.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Three years easily.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
Yeah, so I'm not surprised at this point. That's assured
that team behind the expanse of Cyrus Reborn is completely
separate from alcatz other projects and will not hinder excellence elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
They'll only hinder excellence here.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Right, yeah, So you can become a founder, Joe, and
if you spend at least was it sixty dollars, you
get your name and the credits.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Is this their official website that you see this?

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Yeah? Oh, expance or Cyrus Born dot alcat dot games
is where it's at. It says the universe never tells
us if we did right or wrong. Watch the trailer.
Become a founder then shows its platforms.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Oh good god, that eighty nine dollars.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
Jesus, I told you, Yeah, you didn't believe me or what?

Speaker 3 (13:12):
No, I thought you said two hundred dollars. I don't
know when just glazed over.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
The eighty nine No, no, no, let's see.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
That better be one detailed spaceship figurine.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
I mean it looks that much.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah, but you know how that works.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, I know, but I mean it looks. It looks
pretty pretty decent. I just wonder what the actual looks
pretty approximately eighty inches eight inches, so it's.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Like eighty inches Jesus Christ, you can get in it.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
The crew is more than just back. I'm reading a
little thing about characters, the heart of the of your story.
Each companion brings with them their one personal history, their
own personal history and motives for joint the mission. Though
not all are easy to uncover. There's more than just
specialists some of the Some are haunted by past mistakes Amos.

(14:11):
Others hold on dearly to loyalty Amos. That's weird, survival
or even something there They've never been capable of fully
putting into words. Is this about? Amos? Brad jud ship

(14:32):
becomes a shared home. It's not just a command center,
but a place. Okay. Combat combat in the expanse Osyrus
Reborn is tactical and built around smart decision making under
pressure uh where every move has potential to shift the
balance of the fight. Control your captain in third person

(14:56):
and gain the upper hand by making use of a
variety of weapons to tactics, cover command, et cetera, and
specializabilities The game features multiple roles, each offering a distinct
approach that reflects your personal play style. Two companions will
fight alongside you, support where whatever strategy you choose. When

(15:20):
I think my screen just went tried to go blank,
sporting whatever, I lost my place, strategy from jews, from
skills others assist from a distance, hacking into systems, or
drawing enemies attention right when you need it most. I
hate the way this is formatted. I'm reading off my phone.

(15:42):
So you will issue commands in real time and coordinate
with your squad to stay one step ahead as you
as a battlefield evolves. I don't like the command thing.
I hope it's as good as some as like wild Lands.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Maybe well yeah, I know some people in the comments,
and I think the Agen article briefly mentioned it as well,
that this is kind of like a mass effect type thing.
So you know you had that like attack defend was
an attack defend, regroup, But then you could.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Also be like use this thing, use you know, use
this power.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
On this guy, which I mean in mass effect, it
didn't work bad stuff.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
It's like that, it's not it's not too bad.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
And hopefully you know that was what ten years ago,
hopefully this would be a bit better. But also at
the same time, like it's kind of hoping that it'd
be multiplayer. You know, you have your you know like you,
like you said with the Wild Dance, you have you know,
the CPU, you know, controlled friendlies. But if your friends

(16:49):
hop on with you, they just take over those those
characters and playing for you with you, and then it
to me, it just becomes the division at that point,
and that's that'd be cool. But at the same time,
I said it would only be three person and I
only see three people.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
I mean, there's obviously multiple people on the main cover.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
But in the the gameplay, it was only three characters
that I saw.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
No, I'm hopeful.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
I mean, it's obviously coming from a studio that has
a pedigree, especially with double A games, and that's kind
of what we need at this point is just really
good double A games. None of these you know, quadruple
A garbage games that are coming out, they are just
cookie cutters of every other game that they've done.

Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yeah, there's a there's a lot of fucking nonsense out there.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
And then I'd be interested to see exactly how how
accurate this.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Will be because One of the first things they show
off in the trailer is the chick that you know,
grab boots to the ceiling ostensibly the ceiling, yeah, and
walks through smoke. And it's like, is that something that
you're just showing me that I do this? Or is

(18:05):
that something I can actually do? Because that would be awesome.
That would add a layer of tactics to it, you know,
basically showpath as to how space stuff could be done.
And then they talk about having a space ship. I
don't remember if that was in. What I would know

(18:28):
is what I was reading through the IGN article. Does
that mean that I can go places?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Like?

Speaker 2 (18:35):
I know it's said that.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
The story takes place on euro Station in between books
one or yeah, in between book one and two.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
I think it's that yeah, because you can see the
infected in it obviously.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
So if I get a ship, do I go places?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
I'm guessing you do, because I mean you're talking about
your ship. Is your is not just your home but
your hub?

Speaker 2 (19:00):
How like? How vast is this network? Is it?

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Since we takes place on Euros, is it just like
around Euros or do I get to travel to Mars,
Earth Moon?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
The gate? Well, the game wouldn't appear for after after
book two three.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Somewhere on there.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Yeah, oh, this would be interesting. I'm definitely down for it.
I'm I'm a huge Expanse nerd fan.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
There's no listening for it attached to the book series.

Speaker 2 (19:39):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (19:40):
I was looking at Wikipedia see if there's any info like, uh,
what they have on it, but I don't see anything
relating to the game according to the book series. So
I'm trying to see if it's because it's talking about
like people were reviving there or reviving their roles or on.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
There, like who actually is in it?

Speaker 1 (20:06):
After showing podcasts, there's nothing on here either. Just the
Telltale game is the only game listed on other media.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
I mean, I'm looking at an expanse uh wiki as well.
It's it's literally it looks like it's just copied from
the website. So create, create and customize your own Captain
Earth Marshan or Belter, and you take command of the
Solar System. It's most advanced spaceship as you fight undercover

(20:38):
to uncover the truth and reclaim control of your own fate.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah, most advanced until Laconia shows up. Yeah right, what
do you mean those ships are organic. Just what I said, sir.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
I also wonder why Miller's stuff is so heavily featured
as extra content. Like, I know, his style, at least
from the show was pretty iconic, but like it's very
like he has to be a character that's coming back.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
I mean, he's at this point, he's still live, so.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Exactly a kind of other stuff here and so far,
like who are Like I don't And of course it's
been a long time since I've actually read the books.
I don't remember who pink Water is if it's mentioned
in the books or or the show at all. I'm

(21:44):
sure it was. But according to this pink Water's series
among several corporate security firms operating on Ganymede. In addition
to general policing duties similar to Starck's Security, which I
do remember on series, firms like Pink Water are employeed

(22:06):
to protect the highly valuable agricultural operations conducting on the Moon.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
So they probably weren't mentioned. I just don't remember it.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
So, uh, they first appeared in Caliban's War. Okay, So
which makes sense because this takes place between one and tea, right, yeah, yeah,
so that's that's why they chose pink Water.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Apparently, Oh it's funny.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
According to this Wikipedia Pinkwater sounds like a portmanteau of
Blackwater Security Services, which, yeah, that I was thinking of
as well, the real life military contractors.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Yeah, it's probably where they got the name from, Like
what's the opposite of a black.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
It also reminded me of the Pinkertons, which also this
mentions here the Pinkertons, where are It's it's weird that
they're still around, but I remember you used to hear
about I love watching, like you know, old history channel stuff,
and you hear about the Pinkerton Detective Agency from like
you know, the early ages of New York City and whatnot.
And they're still around as a detective agency. So that's

(23:11):
what I thought of too. I was like, oh, it's
like pink curtains, Blackwater, pink Water.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
They're like, I don't know, some detective mercenary team.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Interesting.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Very My next question is.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Has this been like known for a while and we
just missed it or I just missed it, or is
this literally.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Like from what I can see, everyone's like, where the
fuck did this come from? Because there's been no talk
of it. Okay, that I've seen everyone's like, where the fuck?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
So that explained? Okay, So yeah, I wasn't missing something.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
As far as I know, we aren't. I think they
just there's like they're showing off these new games that
all these things that are happening right now because three,
because E three is not a thing anymore. So all
these companies are just like, uh, this and that.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
I watched some highlights from the PlayStation State of play.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Yeah they call it, Yeah State.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Some interesting stuff on there. I mean, it's PlayStation stuff.

Speaker 3 (24:24):
For the most part, I wouldn't didn't really care, but
they did show Oh shit, what was it? Did you see?
I think it was another thing you sent a trailer of,
because I mean you sent a lot of trailers.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
I think from that I sent a few things.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Yeah, but there was one that was like, oh, okay,
I can actually watch I can actually play that, and
it looks like it'd be fun.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
And I don't remember what it was, the James Bond.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Oh, the James Bond won Yeah, Yeah, that's what it was.
First Light. That look pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
From the makers of Hitman.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
That's what it was pretty cool about it because they
obviously have a pedigree for I don't know Hitmen.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Games for espionage type stuff.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Espionage type of.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
I kind of in some way hope that it is
basically a more cinematic Hitman game. I'm not a huge
fan of the hit Man games. I've played a little
bit of the new one, and it's like it's good.
It's so it'll be interesting just here to see how
like can you basically you know, obviously did show some

(25:38):
disguises in it, so is that you know, the main
gameplay loop of it is it I find a disguise,
I basically play Hitman and work my way through a level,
but more cinematically.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
Maybe I thought it was weird that he had a
facial scar.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
So what's interesting that someone posted? I think it was
on read It I was scrolling through. Ah, they showed
what a sketch of what Ian Fleming said Bond looked like,
and it looked fairly spot on. The only difference I
would say is that the sketch made made Bond look

(26:20):
a little bit older than what we get here.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
Who obviously Ah is just new to the double Like
it sounds like they're trying to just get him into.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
The Double low Ah.

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah, because it looks like you're going through whatever.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
Fleming?

Speaker 1 (26:46):
What else? I posted Bond Mass Effects show Alien Earth.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Yeah, I watched the Alien Earth one. I have concerns
about that, now, do you. Yeah, I'd have to watch
it again to remember every little thing. But there was
just something that just started not feeling right. And I
think part of it was the the transferring of human
consciousness to a synthe to a synth, like maybe it

(27:18):
makes sense, like hopefully it makes sense in the show,
but it seemed weird to me.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
I don't know why. And then.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Now, obviously we've known for a while that we're gonna
have a spaceship crash crash land on Earth and and
that's basically the plot about the picture. We're gonna send
it to you if I can drag and drop it.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
There's gonna be five deadly creatures from around the galaxy.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yeah, And that was kind of the other thing.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
And like, is this because they made they even were
like predators.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
I'm like, are we gonna is that?

Speaker 3 (27:59):
What we're gonna do is that we're gonna introduce like
somehow predator Again, I don't know, so I'll because it's
a TV.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Show, right, it is a television program.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Yeah, so I'll try it. I'll watch it. I will
give it hope that it'll be good. But I don't
know that. That trailer just didn't just didn't connect with me,
and it felt weird. And when does it take place?
I know they I think they mentioned in the we've

(28:34):
mentioned before, like it's after the events of the first
and second movie.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Oh, let me verify.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Two years before the events of the nineteen seventy nine
film Alien, So this is before.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
So it does make a little bit more sense.

Speaker 3 (29:04):
Of like why or how the whaling Utani knows about this.
But at that point again, now we're introducing the fact
that before Alien, we have the ability to transfer human
consciousness to to androids.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Well we had that because they were talking about it
in Prometheus, did they? Yeah, because that's why old man
Whalen was on the ship because he didn't want it.
He wanted to find a way to make life be
extended and without having to go into a synth. But
I don't remember that. Yeah, I don't know how much

(29:44):
they i mean, really talked about it.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
But uh, oh, I don't know. It could be good.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Like I said, I'll watch it, but that trailer just well,
the trailer looked well done. It just didn't like like,
watching the Expanse trailer was like I want this now,
can I have this now? But watching this alien Earth
the Earth trailer was just like, I don't I don't
have a great feeling about this.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Well, I don't know why you're being micro right now, Joe,
but I do appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
I don't know either, Like I can't nail it down.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
I know the synth thing got me a little weird,
but I don't know what the rest of it was.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
It just.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Maybe once I see a different trailer, something a bit
more updated. Because this comes out of August twelfth, so
obviously we'll get more more teasers and whatnots it as
we progress, maybe I'll change my mind.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
I don't know how to spell synthetic. Are you still
looking out trying to see if there's any reference like
in like books or anything like that.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Oh to the transfer.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
M m m m m m m m m m
m m m mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmm mm hmm. I wonder if
this is something they started and they got out.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Lawed, something I could understand.

Speaker 1 (31:51):
Because there's a lot of I mean, obviously there's a
lot of other content that I don't know of from
like books and comics that I've ever read.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
And I've only read a handful of the books that
as far as I can remember, don't mention anything about this.
I mean, I believe there are there are synths in
the books that I've read, but nothing, no one that
has been transferred.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Well, it says here, this is a quick Google search.
I don't know how this goes through. Well, I can
probably click on the link, says The FX series Alien
Earth explores the concept of a synthetic human with a
terminally ill child's consciousness transferred into the synthetic body. This
raises questions about what it means to be human in
the context of advanced technology.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
Which great, But does.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
This alien is? I mean, I guess the like you
said that Prometheus and uh Covenant kind of explored the
idea of what humanity is in the grand scheme of things.

(33:08):
And obviously, as you said, that old man was looking
to extend his life, but they were still basically man's
folly of thinking that they can control something that they can't.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
So I don't know, because even that description there just
makes me feel like, nah, this is They're aiming for
something that that isn't alien, they could still land it.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
I think they're keeping the alien stuff more secret in
this than anything else, which.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Is fine because they showed absolutely nothing. They said that
there were you know you, as you said before, multiple.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Predators, as what I.

Speaker 3 (33:59):
Belie leave they said in the creatures, and they showed
flashes of things. And then you saw one of the eggs,
and I think you do get a you do get
a flash of a face hugger uh face uh face
loving a person's face.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Uh. That's it, so says here the quote is this
ship collected five different life forms from the darkest corners
of the universe.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Okay, and so what is that too? Are are these
things that we've seen before in other franchises?

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Who knows? I don't know, because I know.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
The concern of mine as well. Are we now shoehorning
other franchises into this.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
I don't know for shoehorning franchises more than just other
species of alien creatures from around the planet. That's what
I mean, too, like are because it could be one
of those things.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Are we doing the thing that that basically Dark Horse did,
which I'm fine with, where we we have mantis alien,
this alien, that alien, or are we doing predator versus
alien where we're taking known other content and just being like, oh,

(35:12):
this also exists in this world now, and this also
exists in this world? Or are we making up our
own stuff? Which I'm fine with as well, I'm a
little just weary about the well.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
Because they show some of them in the in the
trailer they show like a squid thingy, well, actually look
more like a squid jellyfish, And then there's like something
that looked a lot like a a xenomorph egg.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Right.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
They also showed one that was like hanging. Yes, doesn't
mean it can't hang. I mean they often have shit
all over the walls. But what I think this actually
is is the fact that I don't think the five
things they got are xenomorph. I think the xenomorph hit
out on the ship and that's why it crashed, because

(35:58):
when you look at the wreckage of the ship, I
think it was a by, it was a it was
a it was a uh stowaway. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:06):
I did they make mention about how it looks like
a zoo that that the animals got out.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Yeah, But I do like the fact though at one
point In the beginning of the trailer, they do show
a scorpion, and.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
I was like, and that's what I mean, Yeah, could
we have that?

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Are we having hybrids? Are we gonna have fucking you know?
Is this thing gonna go and impregnate fucking the zoo
on Earth and have like a fucking giraffe xenomorph and
a fucking rhino.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
I'm okay with rhino. I don't know what a giraffe zenomorph.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Would look like.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
I mean, it looked like a tall horse with a
xenomorph that.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I think, but still that'd be weird.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
And like the entire neck has those spine thingies on it, yeah,
and then has a little bitty whippy tail because like
they don't really like drafts on like long tail, so
it's like a like a little tail, you know what
I mean. And then like battle, it just still does

(37:06):
the whole thing that's neck.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, just whips things, just whips around.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
And has those spiny things. So it's like, oh shit,
that's gonna hurt.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
That would be a terrifying thing to see running at.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
You galloping you mean, like shit, dude, Like the weird
little there are four legs working independent ways. Yeah, dude,
don't don't make no sense. Yeah, that'd be terrifying.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
They go that act out. I'm fine with it.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
We out to wait and see. Joe, don't be a negative, Nancy,
don't be a mic.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
True, very true. But hey, like I said, I'll give
it a shot.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
August twelfth, August twelfth, August twelfth, I think, so something other,
August something other.

Speaker 7 (37:51):
I say, say eight twelve, that is August, right, yes,
that's August August August.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Yeah, So you saw that picture I sent of Ian
Flanning where or not? Even like James Bomber, he does have.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
A little bit of a scar, right, Yeah, I just
saw in the text of ossages.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Mh.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
But obviously he looks more older and distinguished.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Yes, this is obviously when he's a double O. And
this is starting off as you know, trainer, he's learning
to he's working to get his license to kill, as
they said in Casino Royale. Yeah, I need to watch
that today, which one killer killer of killer of killers killers.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Yeah, it's so funny to see Dan tracting for doing
press for it. Yeah all right, I shouldn't say press
because he's probably doing press.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
But YouTube has been running ads for a Killer of Killers.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, it's Track and Burt talking about it, and it's like,
I remember I used to watch you on the totally
rerad show.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
That was totally red.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
It was totally red.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
But what's cool about this?

Speaker 3 (39:05):
I haven't watched it yet either, but I've seen people
talking about it and how.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
They feel that there's someone at the Helm that actually
understands Predator.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
Yeah, because he's a nerd.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
Yeah, like that's that.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
This is something that that we've kind of needed, you know.
It's kind of like a Predator through the Ages type thing.

Speaker 1 (39:30):
Yeah, it's cool because I saw a slight spoiler. I
don't know if it's really a spoiler, but there's a
picture someone posted where I guess they at one point
someone gets handed a like one of those fucking one
of those pistols.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Called oh flintlock.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
Yeah, flintlock, which is obviously we saw in Predator too
and then in Prey, and I was like, okay, so
we're tying it all together, Like that's like, you know
the thing that I'm guessing it's probably not gonna be
like the Viking that gets that gun or the Samurai.
It's probably gonna be the World War One guy, I
think it's World War one that they're fighting in. It
might be two. There were planes one two I remember, right,

(40:17):
I'm pretty.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
Sure that it's two. Thinking thinking of what I can remember.
The plane looked like I'm pretty.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
Sure that's too yeah, because I don't think they had
like not.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
That type of plane.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Yeah. So yeah, So I thought that was pretty cool,
and I like the worst part about it is I
didn't even click on it look at it. It was
just like it was a post that popped up on Twitter,
I think, or somewhere I don't know. And I was like,
damn it. I was like, actually, that's not that bad.
Does it doesn't bother me too much.

Speaker 2 (40:44):
No, how many episodes is it?

Speaker 1 (40:47):
It's just one. It's a movie. It's an anthology is
three parts?

Speaker 2 (40:50):
Okay, so it's just a yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:52):
I don't think yeah, because I think it. I don't
think it breaks it up on there. I think it's
basically just stop with the clicking of things Wikipedia. Yeah,

(41:14):
four minutes, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:17):
Three thirty that's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
If it's If it's pretty basically split up into three
thirty minute segments, that's pretty good. That gives uh, because
this has the feeling a little bit of like Love,
Death and Robots where you have I mean, obviously we're
talking about something that's an anthology.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
They're not really directly connected to each other.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Yeah, and they're all done by three different studios.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
Right, No, it's all done in the same studio.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
It's all done the same thing.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Okay, because we're like the artwork look like it shifts
between them.

Speaker 2 (41:47):
But maybe I'm just misremembering things are.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
Okay, fair enough, but yeah, that at least means that
we get a good, full story and not something that
that cuts off or is just very compacted, because.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
You can do a lot in thirty minutes. That's what
I've learned from murder.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
Bot, although it still feels like it needs to me longer.
I will take full responsibility for that, by the way,
you should, because I put it into the world that
there's too many shows with hour long that are hour long, and.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
It feels like a lot of them.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
Just drag because they're trying to fill an hour.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
Because they're trying to fill an hour, and this comes
along and it's half an hour and you literally end
did you watch the the newest episode?

Speaker 2 (42:40):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (42:40):
Then you literally end credits when when murder bot shoots
himself and you're like, the fuck, Like I know what happens,
but like, I just want more.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Just give me more.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
See it's your fault, Jill. Yeah, so you should pay
heavily for it.

Speaker 2 (42:58):
Well, I think I already pay heavily for a lot
of stuff.

Speaker 7 (43:01):
But uh, the queue added to the queue, exactly added
to the dead list. I fully apologize for that, but
at least in this case, you get a whole three
episodes of a killer killer of killers on one at

(43:22):
the same time, though it being an hour half long
makes me sit there and go, it's an hour and
a half.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
I don't know if I have the time.

Speaker 3 (43:29):
For it right now. I know, right, I'm terrible. That's
why I said thirty minute episodes. You know, it's something
I feel like you can get better into.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
But then but it's a movie.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
You really get what I want. And I sit there
and go, but I want more. See, like I have
the time right now, it's just continue to go.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Yeah, I'm terrible.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
I realize that I am the worst movie slash TV
show watching audience.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Ever right after Mike, Mike's actually the worst.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Mike is probably actually the worst because at least I
start things.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Yeah, Mike doesn't want to commit if it's too too
far into it, and doesn't want to commit if it's
too new.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
And I semi understand the first thing.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
The second one is a bit bs because at least
if you're doing something week to week, I can watch
the episode and I can pace myself. The problem is
that I do agree with the with the first one though.
If like Severance is already two seasons in now yep right, yeah,
and they're hour long episodes.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Not always, but yeah, feels.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Okay for forty four minute episodes whatever, it feels like
a lot to get through, and so it's hard to
get into it, especially for a slower burned show. So, like,
I will admit, I'm still only four episodes into Severance.
I haven't continued to watch it. That's what I'm saying, Like,
I understand that point where it's like an hour long thing.

(44:54):
There are ten eight to ten episodes? Was it eight
episodes of Severance nine nine episodes?

Speaker 1 (45:02):
Yeah, I think so.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
Yeah, for a slower burned show, it's kind of hard
to get into. It's kind of hard to sit there
and go, yeah, one more, one more feels good.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
Well, you're mistaken bout that show.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
But something like Murder Box is literally like action action
action things are happening. I'm laughing, I'm engaged. I'm literally
it's a it's a show that I have not fully
I haven't fully engaged with a show like this in
a very long time. But I mean by that is
putting the iPad down.

Speaker 1 (45:36):
You can do that, because Joe, because it's too short.
It's very easy to do that when it's that short.

Speaker 3 (45:41):
When it's that short, and when that when it's that engaging,
like seriously.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
Then'm wrong. I enjoy it a lot. I just wish
that it was longer.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Yeah, I do too.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
Like slightly. I'm not saying like we need.

Speaker 4 (45:56):
To do our very true because I will say forty minutes.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
I will even say a solid thirty because I think
the episodes are like twenty.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Two minutes long. And it's like, what is this commercials?
You're putting commercials in some in here somewhere. You're aiming
for commercial time for thirty minutes. No, give me thirty solid.

Speaker 1 (46:17):
Minutes exactly, Joe, you fucked it for all of us.

Speaker 2 (46:21):
Yeah, I apologize, and like I said, I can only
apologize so much.

Speaker 1 (46:24):
Yeah, you can keep trying though. Let's see if episodes, well,
they don't put lengths on here. I have to look
at IMDb. I forgot Wikipedia fails on that point. Murder Bot,
murder Bot, murder Bat episodes ten listed episodes, twenty nine

(46:49):
minute episode, twenty four minute episode to twenty two minute episodes,
and a twenty three minute episode so far.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
Yeah, so it's an averaging shit around to twenty two
to twenty four minute episode or.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Shit lanth hear me? You hear me, Joe, I.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
Can hear you now, the Verizon piece of garbage.

Speaker 1 (47:09):
It's all your fault and never forgive you for this.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
I blame myself too, Like I said, absolutely fantastic show.
I'm so happy that Actually all up searching Murderbot, I've
seen nothing but good reviews of the show. It does
have a seven point three out of ten on IMDb.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
Apparently.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
Let's see why.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
I have read nothing but good reviews of this show.
And I don't mean I'm cherry picking.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
I'm just like, oh, hey, somebody's.

Speaker 3 (47:42):
Scrolling through I'm scrolling through Apple News and somebody's talking
about murder Bod. They're like, yeah, I really like it.
I laughed, you know, it's fun, it's quirky.

Speaker 2 (47:53):
So I'm really hoping.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
That hmm at seven out of ten for what Joe short?
A great story cramped in crammed into frustratingly short format.

Speaker 2 (48:08):
Oh yeah, so that's why it's getting the sevens.

Speaker 1 (48:10):
Almost perfect show, way too short. The Reader's Digest version yep.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Rott Tomatoes listed as ninety seven percent.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Now good enough to keep watching into vision.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
And the popcorn meter has gone up because I remember
last time it was sitting somewhere in the seventy percent range.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
Now the average popcorn meter is at eighty percent.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
Six out.

Speaker 2 (48:32):
To say is that it's doing well. People are reviewing
it well.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Obviously people are like, hey, this should be a longer episode.
I'm waiting for Net, for Netflix, for Apple TV to
be like, here, go make a season.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Two and make them longer, and make them longer. Eight
out of ten twenty minute episodes ruins it Good but
too short? Let's see has potential needs to be longer.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
You're making some of these up.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
Nope, I am not sir. What does that one say
right there?

Speaker 2 (49:18):
Good but too short? Seven out of ten?

Speaker 1 (49:20):
Yep. I may be biased, but I've read and loved
the books. I'm actually rereading, listening actually them as I'm watching.
I'm glad they're sticking pretty close to the books, but
I recall more detail. Yep. And I'll say this, they
have actually given us more backstory.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
Or backstory in the first few episodes.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Than they normally have. Yes, this person's probably remembering a
lot of things, but they are saying that the format
is too short. Yeah, twenty minute episodes ruins it.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
I even remember pointing that out to my brother, who
has only read the first read the first book, that
there's a lot in the in the newest episodes where
the last two episodes really that's like, no, they didn't
introduce this this early. Ah, they definitely have, taking a
lot of the lore that they introduced in the later books.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
What happens in hindsight?

Speaker 2 (50:17):
You put it into the seven earlier episodes? Yeah? Right.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Again, all this to say is that I don't see
anything with Apple TV saying hey, season two.

Speaker 1 (50:29):
Yeah, I don't think they've said anything yet. But then again,
Apple is uh frustrating me. That excuse me, because they
often don't give you a I did not spell that
correct at all. Now I'm trying to see a physic

(50:59):
the update on with it, but no one's saying anything yet.
Murder Bots creators hope to keep going with more seasons. Duh,
what show? What's showing it? Doesn't want more seasons? I
know right, No, we're going with this one.

Speaker 3 (51:14):
Yeah, you know what, we gave it our best on top.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
I'm going out on top. You're going to finish the story.

Speaker 1 (51:28):
But I don't see anything else about it here, which
is you know, not, like I said, not fucking completely
unheard of.

Speaker 3 (51:41):
That's a good point, Like I don't necessarily watch a
whole lot of the Apple TV stuff, but I don't
really hear a whole lot about when they announce, uh
things to be picked up for other seasons. I remember
watching ted Lasso and finishing the first season before they

(52:02):
even said, hey, hey, yeah it's popular, we're doing a
second season. And I never have heard anything about any
of the rest of their shows that I have watched
a little bit of. They just appear with new seasons
and it's like cool, Still haven't why head still haven't
continued watching it.

Speaker 2 (52:21):
But yeah, I'm terrible. I've told you I'm terrible. The
worst I am.

Speaker 1 (52:30):
When asked about possible season two, have murder bought one
of the creators showrunners. I should say, well, no creators,
because he created the show they.

Speaker 2 (52:38):
Didn't like so much.

Speaker 3 (52:39):
They like, created the show, wrote the show, produced the
show like it's uh.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
I think brothers.

Speaker 1 (52:45):
Whites, Yeah, the white the Weltz or whites or everything
is uh. Says here. We might end up using you
blah blah blah blah. Hold on, we might end up
using shuffling the deck a little bit. I don't know
if that's a misquote, or he just doesn't speak English
very well, using some stuff from say the third or
fourth book with stuff from the second book. We don't

(53:07):
know yet. His brother Chris echo the sentiment by reinforcing
the idea that losing the main characters of the first
season would be a shame talking about the people from Preservation,
and then we'd have to change the order of the
books to fit the narrative of the show. Then it

(53:29):
says a quote another quote, I think the second book
for people who are familiar with the series doesn't really
have the same team members, and I think it would
be sad if we didn't have some elements of that
not likely to be in the be a book for
book that's.

Speaker 3 (53:49):
An interesting take, and they have a very good point
because book two was and as far as I can remember,
book three as well, were literally following murder Bot as
he tries to explore the memory fragments that he's had
about going.

Speaker 2 (54:09):
Full murder Bot, essentially why he calls himself for a
murder Bot.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
He's introduced to new characters in season two, but even then,
like they would that if they did that, it would
follow the same problem, Like you introduce all these characters
that he helps out that he gets a little bit
close to, and then anyway in book.

Speaker 2 (54:25):
Three, uh, you never hear from those characters.

Speaker 3 (54:28):
Again, it's not until like book four, it could be three,
but four that I can think of where they where
he goes back to Preservation.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
Yeah, because it'd be interesting to see what they do
with that.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
M That'll be definitely something to for them to think about.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you have a lot of in
between stuff that's not really well not say not, but
like that don't have to do with the Preservation people.
It has to do with Grey Chris still, because we
obviously find out that they're a driving force of assholeness
in the known galaxy here mm hmm, I guess it
is book four, right, no way home, trying to think,

(55:25):
I'm trying to look at where where they picked back
up with Preservation Team, fully, because there's the one, the
one where they where he murder about find he murder
about finds out that uh Gray Chris has essentially kidnapped
uh what's her? What's her face? And he goes there

(55:48):
and then you find them and they're like trying to
negotiate her release. Is that book three? See?

Speaker 3 (55:57):
It could be because book two was about him and
he meets art in book two.

Speaker 1 (56:02):
Yeah, I know that much.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
And then I'm pretty sure he ends up on that
space station where he helps the he helps some locals with.

Speaker 2 (56:15):
And yeah, I can't fully remember the plot of.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
That artificial condition is murder Bot hacks me on unshipped
cargo blah blah blah. His name is art Asshole Research
Transport due to its sarcastic personality to make the physical
modifications blah blah blah. And obviously that's the one where.

Speaker 3 (56:37):
The book three is when he ends up on that
planet fighting against the he's with another team ends up
being like two mercenaries on that team that he's trying
to get some sort of information from a dig site
that I think that he was on.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
That was the dig site where he went full murder bought.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Yeah, that's when he basically he poses as a SEC
unit sent by a security consultant.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
And then it's book four where he meets back up
with the because she's been learning that she's been accused
of corporate espionage by Gray. Chris is now missing because
they kidnap her ass. Then Network Effect is the one
where Art comes back and essentially kidnaps him because he's

(57:34):
working with as a as a. Yeah, he's working as
a consultant for Preservation. Yeah. So technically book three, that's
why they mentioned three and four because that's where preservation
comes back into it. We're on book two, it's solely
just murder Bought and Art. And then is that the

(57:59):
one with the the other what's her name? What's the
little the friend robot the lady ends up getting killed Mickey, Yeah, Mickey,
I don't remember her. She's another construct and she's basically
a friend of the lady. And then she ends up

(58:21):
basically figuring out that SEC unit of sec unit. That's
the one where he's the consultant Wren, like he's basically
pretending to be two people.

Speaker 3 (58:30):
Okay, yeah, I don't fully remember that one, but okay,
like I remember it, but yeah, I remember his story
beats about it, Like I remember the end battle scene
was pretty cool with the two mercenary against two mercenaries,
and so was the the battle with the fucking giant
fucking robots and inside the facility.

Speaker 1 (58:50):
Yeah, the diggerbot thingies.

Speaker 3 (58:53):
Yeah, I can definitely see them thinking about this a
bit more, Like he still goes off and meets with Art,
but they could just cut back to preservation and tell
a story about what's going on with them. Maybe they're
trying to find him, trying to see what happened to

(59:15):
him in season two, and then you kind of have
them help him.

Speaker 2 (59:23):
In season three.

Speaker 3 (59:26):
With the library or with the dig site and whatnot,
and then he just fully comes back to preservation after that.
So I can see that's how you keep characters around
for the rest of the series.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Yeah, it'd be interesting. It would be interesting to see
how they they they try to do it, because I
get with having you don't want to you have this cast, right,
and you don't want to like off them off and
then hopefully, and they're not doing other things by the
time you're going to bring him back for season three
and four, so many I guess I wonder how they

(01:00:11):
would do that because I don't want to because you
need art, because art is a big part of four. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
So so that's why I say, like you start at
least maybe even condense it a little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
I know it kind of suck, well, I have twenty
two many episodes, Joe sings that, I.

Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Know, let's just condense more things. All I'm saying is
like you could still like tell.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
Book two in maybe half the season. It might suck
though I don't remember fully that book two, but again
you could still just like cut back to preservation.

Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
They're trying to find uh, murder Bot. They're trying to
figure out what happened to him.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Maybe you could even have the side thing because like
you said, by book book four is what we said
where Mensa was kidnapped by Chris.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
You could have that that book three, Book.

Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Three, you can have that subplot going, uh that some
things are happening and great Chris ends.

Speaker 2 (01:01:23):
Up kidnapping her, which and then you know season two ends, and.

Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
That's when you pick up season three, and it's like
murder bot just like I'm gonna get mensa back.

Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Murder murder.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
That's that's how he talks.

Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Yeah, he just doesn't look at you. Murder, murder, murder,
blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
Watching security cameras, security cameras.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
That's another thing I see a lot of people complaining about.
It's like where where are the centuries? The centuries?

Speaker 1 (01:01:53):
Yeah, they don't have the drones, the drones yet.

Speaker 2 (01:01:55):
Yeah, a big time that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:59):
You know, they did a lot with this, uh, with
this these this first season so far, like visually it
is very well done, so being able to do little drones.
Maybe it was just a little bit too much. They're like, nah,
we'll save we'll save some money. But now after season

(01:02:21):
one is so popular, they'll be like, all right, here's
some more money to do drones.

Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
Yeah mm hmm. I wonder how they would Zoo because
Art has drones. I want if they could introduce them
that way. Yeah, I'd say so since he's gonna be

(01:02:47):
well maybe yeah, because he's going to be more of
a security unit at that point. Mhm AnyWho, I think
that's it for this week's episode, comes Ashley. We have
been Joe, Ivan, Cody, and as usual, you fuckers just
came naturally.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Bye.
