Speaker 1 (00:00):
Eyes called premature coll elation.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, do you there's a lot of pre
in you. That's bad.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
What you're drinking Doctor Pepper with dinosaurs on it?
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Me too, But like she didn't pick up order and
she actually got uh the regular, the non zero zero.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Sugar one full blooded.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
And it's been not gonna lie, it's been nice.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
These these are better, still still good though, I mean them.
Zeros is delicious except for you know what. This is
a discussion I had with Page the other day. Not
that this has any bearing or anything, but uh, the
fountain zero sugars have not figured it out. No, they
(01:04):
taste worse than than diet so does do for some reason.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, you know what I did though, I h that's
a p is that full of sugar?
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Get you? I switched over to zero.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Mug Yeah, zero mugs really good.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, and I was I was very pro anw for
a long time, but I think I made the switch.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Hell yeah, bro, Yeah, bargs isn't bad if you like bargs,
but I know not everybody likes bargs. But there's zero
is pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Where the fuck is the mountain done? Code red?
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Zeros on the East coast, that's gay? Yeah, you can
order them. There's like these people who like will be resellers.
They'll send them in the mail, like we did it once.
Just like you know, we could try them and they
but they were only available in cans, like very hard
to get the bottles apparently so much so, like I
(02:10):
joined a like a Mountain Dew discord just like to
communicate these people when yeah where so, Yeah, they're super
hard to find, like a lot. There's like a few
grocery stores that carry them, uh like and I want
to say they're near North Carolina ish area because that's
(02:37):
where Pepsi's from, see the North Carolina, South Carolina. I
can't remember. One of those ones might be South Carolina.
I can't remember. But yeah, like we tried it. It's
actually really good. It's wild because like I don't know
why that one isn't, Like it's one of the most
popular flavors they have, but yet that zero is just
(02:57):
not hitting stores.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Mountain Easier was pretty good.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, Like I like the Mountain Dew zero. I like
the Baja Blast zero. Like I've tried pretty much all
the zeros of the Mountain Dews I can get a
hold of. It's including some of the newer like uh
like just limited flavors and stuff because they'll bring out
like the summertime one.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Uh another one.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I can't I haven't really looked for it, but it
used to be at all the gas stations was just
mountain dew with.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
With cane sugar.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Oh yeah, the yeah, that was really good too.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
But that's just gone.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I think you can uh well, actually, I don't know
if I've seen it in a while. Sometimes the grocery
store gets the glass bottle one that has it uses
cane sugar. It was funny. Uh, I don't know why,
but the Sun City West Fries has a bunch of
(03:54):
glass bottles sodas. Really they have squirt they have seven
up uh bright coke. Every now and then you'll see PEPSI.
They got a bunch of the like the Mexican sodas too,
like the Apple one that's really good. Yeah, I think
(04:17):
what's the Oh they Jones actually has a zero cola.
That one's pretty good.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
I don't think I've ever had one of those.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
The one that I wish they like would sell in
like the packs of bottles is the Doc Pepper cherry
or Cherry Doc Pepper zero. You can find bottles individual
like we always find them at sometimes at convenience stores,
but like weirdly enough, like Safeway always has them in
(04:51):
one of the fridges up front, but they don't sell
packs and they only sell cans of it like packs
of cans. They don't sell like and they sell big
bottles of it at the at the grocery store.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Have you ever been to a Maverick gas.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
Station up and press bottom?
Speaker 1 (05:10):
QT is starting a key kind of.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Have you tried more of the coffee bars yet? QT?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
Yeah, I don't like them, and they also they changed
their soda their Folt machines to be.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
A multi Some of them do have the the fast
not the fast break, but like the multiple ones, I.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Have a strong distain for those, so does.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So does Payte. Actually, I don't really like them a
lot of times down because the don't they're not They
just sometimes mixed shipping there and they're never cleaned properly. Yeah,
like the freestyle machines. It's one of the reasons I
actually hate AMC theaters is because the freestyle machine.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, if Harkins ever goes to that, I'm gonna be
so fucking pissed.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
It's true. Yeah, that we devastating.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Then I'm gonna start sneaking in my fucking thirstbusters.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
We're you're getting a Maverick here in surprise. Speaking of Maverick,
they're gonna.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
They're gonna fucking give ket a run for the because
Ket is getting more and more circle k as the
as the time goes on. Yeah, I don't know if
it's just because it's like because we have two out
here and bu guy but a relatively close to each other.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
They're so fucking busy all the time now.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
Yeah, and ever since they they put the kitchen in
and then they swapped out the soda machine and they
swapped out the coffee for that. The coffee part thing
is kind of cool. I just don't like it, but
the soda machine sucks. And then having the kitchen there
is kind of lame too because it I don't know,
I just think it makes it busier and gross, Like
(06:43):
you can't just go in there and grab a soda
real quick and leave. Yeah, like there's always like six
deep on the line now who's just standing around.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Like an asshole?
Speaker 2 (06:52):
So yeah, the uh, I don't know if well, last
time I heard they were still trying to get everything
to approved of the Maverick, but it's gonna go on
one hundred and sixty third and Grand, so uh towards
that development that's up there, which would be nice but
also terrible because like that area is pretty fucking congestion.
(07:13):
But once I gets finished and everything can probably make
a little a little.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
Bit over there.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
And that one street down from you where the new
home depot.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Is, oh Cactus, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
Yeah, and the new in and out and that it
looks like it's gonna be because that's all empty and
they're gonna fill it all up.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
So they're getting they're putting a slim Chickens over there,
a Zagsby's, another McDonald's, because we need another one of those.
I think they're putting. What else is going over there? Tie?
What's that Thai noodle place?
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Ty Chili? Another Jimmy John's. What else is going over
There's how munch of other things? Actually you can pull
the list up again, but yeah, there's because right now,
the in and out's now open. The QT is probably
gonna open any day now they have the the bank
(08:13):
is going there's a one asy credit union that's going
over there, So.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
What's up A TV? Behind you.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, it's a TV. How could you tell? I mean
I tried to hide it so well.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
You have to crawl under the table to get to
your chair.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Now, No, no, it's the chair has a pass right here.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
Another table's gone.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Now the table's here. It just covered was not covered
in stuff anymore other than the TV and a couple things.
But uh, it's it's not as bad as it was.
I organized a little bit and then put a TV
on it.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
That's my favorite thing about only doing the podcast every
six months now is like we would see how out
of control your life is getting bigger.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
First off, that's mean to say out loud, even though
it's true. Oh here, here's the list of what it is.
So obviously the discount tire is already there. In and
Out is going in there. They're putting a Lazy Boy,
Desert Financial Slim Chickens QT, the Quick Quack car wash,
(09:23):
the Take five is already there. I'm sorry, not the one.
And then Sherman Williams is going over there. Then another
black Rock coffee.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Wait till yesterday.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, a Vets place called Good Vets. Another joint, the joint,
not the fun one, but the fucking shitty one. We're
getting a Roebecks blow dry bar and nail dip are
going over there.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
And then on the on the other side where the
home depot is, well, actually next to that where the
Fries is going, and the eos next to it, they're
doing a somb Burrows, a one Easy credit Union, McDonald's,
the Fries gas station, a Zagbies, some other stuff that
(10:10):
hasn't been announced yet, ty chili, Jimmy Johns, a therapy place,
a barber shop. Pilates guessing shipping it says probably it's
probably ups or FedEx, another dental place, another nail place.
And then on the other other side of the three
(10:31):
oh three they're putting in a Tim Horton's.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
What oh ship. Joe's gonna be so happy.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
I'm trying to see if there's I don't think I
took a pretty sure of it. Oh. Speaking of which,
have you tried the green Apple Gatorade? No, it tastes
like a dollar rancher brother. Yeah, Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
You know what, that's funny? Man in gated. I haven't
been drinking gatorade.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
In a long time because I just I kind of
switched over to the power aide zeros. But because it's
been so fucking hot recently, I've been grabbing Gator Aids
out of the gas stations and they're making the mix
ups of the O G flavors.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Yeah, they're super good, by the way, dude.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
The lemon limon the orange one, it's the greatest thing
I've ever tasted.
Speaker 1 (11:22):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah. The other one's good, but yeah, the lemon lime
orange one is.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I'm drinking more Gatorade in the last two weeks and
I've had the last two years.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah, it's and I'm very happy about it.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yep, it's pretty spectacular. I'm trying to see if I
can find this other development picture that I found the
other day.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
Buck guys, finally get some ship too, because that the
Verado area is going up strong right now.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Because you remember you told me a while back I
was getting it over easy.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah, and I thought you meant the one that came
in off of astral over there by the theater.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Oh yeah, no, but.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
There's one right next to Costco, like the signs up down.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
Yeah, then I think it's is it across the on
the north side of the highway where they're doing like
the target the Ross the TG it's in the Costco Park. Okay,
so that is the Costco. I wasn't too sure if
it was or not.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
It's small, that's the only thing that's weird. It's gonna
be a pretty small location. But I was like, whatever, whatever,
go there, get some fucking waffle dogs.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Man.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Oh yeah, brother Bang Bang and the wolf Pack.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Hell yeah, oh.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yeah bro bro Oh. Another Freddy's is going over there.
Remember the other stuff though they're good, they're doing too.
There's a bunch of bunch of ship.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Have you ever been that Burrows place? Because those things
are popping up all over the place.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, we went. We used to go to the one
over by, uh Camelback best Buy all the time.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
And then there's now one over by uh is it
t Bird and eighty third on the other side, uh
where you know, like where the Culvers is, there's the
Dutch on the other side of the parking lotters the Starbucks. Yeah,
the Sombreros right next to that.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
Yeah, because one one opened up.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
It was one of the first things that open up
out of the new construction over they're off of Verado. Yeah,
but right there we're supposed to get an Oreganos another.
I think one of the bigger ones is the McDonald's,
and then in and out. It's gonna be one of them.
Oh no, I'm kind of excited about having it out
(13:36):
that close.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
I have too close to me now because that's what
I need.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yeah, more options for burgers.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Speaking of burgers, yeah, buddy Jim's Burgers and Eggs.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
New management. Oh no, is that bad Jim died?
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Oh no, then just give it to that sassy old rod.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
I think. I well, so from what I heard, she's gone,
oh no, yeah, and everyone's like, oh new management, we
don't have to get bullied or look or what did
someone say, like uh Snydermarks or whatever. I was like,
did that happen to people? Because yeah, I guess. I
(14:19):
mean she was just she was just like Curt and
like not really like you know, friendly.
Speaker 1 (14:25):
If he didn't order like an asshole, you'd be fine.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
That's what I'm sayings like I never really.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
She ain't have time for you to fucking cock the
menu that you've been staying at for the last five minutes.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Oh yeah, bring your back, that's what I said.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
Yeah, there's a new sign up that actually says uh.
Under new management.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
I hate how they're saying it like it's a good thing.
They should hide that fact, keep everything exactly the same.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
I think they were trying to drive business because it
might have lost them because of previous people.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Look if you didn't eat at Jim's Burgers and Eggs,
because that what was mean to you, You're a pussy,
You're a fucking you know what.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
I'm gonna say it. Trump's president. I can say it.
You're never mind.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
I won't say you're a nuclear Let's see, Oh we're
getting that Farmer Bros. Burger place.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Yeah, I saw that sign up for that one that's
right there by that Mission barbecue place.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Which wasn't half bad by the way, if you haven't
tried it.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yet, I'm looking forward to doing so.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
But those are like fucking blown up too, man. Like
I saw we saw another one being built somewhere to
where were we going? Where the hell we were? I
was like, oh shit, another mission. I think it was
down by Australia. Actually somewhere is it right across from
(16:05):
it's on the side where it's like aldi they're putting
the ono. Is that where I saw it at? There's
a seven eleven camera with that's where it was or not.
Jets Pizza is opening soon. How the fuck is that
Detroit style pizza? Oh? Since the did you hear about
the wreck? It closed the landlord didn't renew their lease
(16:30):
and they didn't have anywhere to go. Fucking wild dude.
But you know, we're getting Jets Pizza over here, so
(16:51):
I'm excited about that. We got Peta Kitchen over here
to That place is pretty good, pea kitch. It's a
Mediterranean place opened up over by the Mission, barbecue and stuff.
Don't test it getting another Aldy.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
I'll be sucked too. I don't keep getting those. Oh man,
it throws the whole foods on the west side, right,
you fucking you Pussy's Jeff Bezos.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
He's too busy getting married in Italy or whatever.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Pissing off all the.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Oh talk Taco chi Lingo. We're getting one of those
over here too.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Oh nice, that was pretty That was pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (17:41):
We just opened up, you know that that place that
was doing Maria tacos out of the Hotel Tacos bourbon Yeah,
they opened up a brick and mortar place and buck
Eye called Barbonado.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
It's so good. Dudeka. It's so good.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Like they're more expensive than your standard like taco place,
but you can tell like they use way better ingredients.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
I've been there a lot.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
And it's also like the first place in Buckeye you
can get dinner at, like a sit down dinner place.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
That seeming good.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
So I've been in there a lot lately, just fucking
tacos and burritos.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
And tacos and tacos and burritos. I found another one,
not too another map, not too long. I can't find
it now. That listed to some other stuff. But yeah,
a bunch of a bunch of random ship going in
over there.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Mhm.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
I think it's the only Remember.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
You gotta talk about Superman?
Speaker 2 (18:54):
Well, have you seen it yet?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
No?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
All right, what's up? Don't be ready? Tell me something
I didn't know yet.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
I think it's gonna suck.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Bro, You're gonna suck. How's that?
Speaker 1 (19:05):
I don't want it to. I do realize I've been
very negative towards everything.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Yes, I know we refer to as being.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Like, yeah, but it's not my fault. They a lot
of them sucked real bad lately.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
I mean just in general.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
Yeah, I mean when Marvel was rolling.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
I was excited about everything, and then everything started kind
of being.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Shitty because they pushed too much stuff out.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
I'm rewatching James Gunn movies and I don't.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
I don't. It's gonna upset you, Okay, I don't. I
don't want him to make any more movies, no super movies.
I don't want him to make superhero movies anymore.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
And he's gonna, yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Thinks it stick off like if this one ships the
bed real bad. I don't think he's ever gonna make
another superhero movie.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
But they're just I mean, ever since he jumped to
when he made Suicide Squad too.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Whoa whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa the Suicide Squad.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Sir, Yeah, oh you like that one, huh.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I like parts of it?
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Yeah yeah, I like parts of it too, you know,
like the parts that felt like the other one, and
then all the new parts.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Pissed me off, which is funny because everyone talks about
how the other one wasn't good because of what the
other one did. Yeah, and I was like, well, I
mean I like the other one.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
I understand it was a miss, Like they fucked some
shit up, Like I get that, but I thought that
the fucking seeds were there. You know, I just enjoyed
the characters a lot more. I thought they're less goofy.
I think he goofy buys everything. James Gunn has to
make everything jokey, joky and goofy, and he has to
(20:59):
have a cute thing in it, and that part pisces
me off. Yeah, like I've retrovactally, I don't like Baby
Group anymore because I've seen three iterations of it now,
and it pisses me off that he keeps doing it
because he's he found a formula and he's like, boom,
(21:19):
make it, make it cute and dumb. He did it
with fucking King Shark. People don't want to hear this,
but King Shark and Baby Grooves the same thing, same thing.
There's just different sizes, but for the for the role
they play in the movie, for what it's supposed to
do in the movie, it's the same fucking device. And
it upsets me. And then as soon as I saw
(21:41):
that stupid dog, no I'll go there, I'll give a fuck.
I like dogs in real life, I don't. I don't
like Superman dogs. They can go fuck off, but it
is it's.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Like he's he can't all right. It sounds like I'm
being meaner than I am.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
No, you are mean, but.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
No I'm not being I'm being constructive. But his ship sucks.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
No.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
I just I just feel like Suicide Squad, uh, Guardians,
and now Superman he turned into a I just feel
like they're the same characters from different costumes now. And
also what I didn't like about Suicide Squad too is
(22:37):
the main the final battle was dog shit. And then
I see this trailer for Superman and I see him
fighting a Kaiju and I'm like, Okay, why why a Kaiju?
Speaker 1 (22:53):
What are we doing?
Speaker 3 (22:56):
But at least we know Lex is gonna be in
some armor at some point, so that's kind of cool. Guys,
And I like Ali, like he's Superman already. It doesn't
feel like it's another.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Origin story, so it's not they Uh so this one
basically takes place three years into him being Superman, like
in the in the in the eye of of the public,
obviously he's always been Superman. But like, I do like that.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
Part, and I like the part how like superheroes are
a part of that world, Like it seems like everyone like.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Gets it it's just well, it's because they for the
last what did what did James say? The last superheroes
have been a thing in this world for the last
four hundred years things what he said? So it's more
of an established universe because he doesn't want to do
(23:49):
he doesn't want to rerun uh not not exact words,
but basically he doesn't want to rerun a bunch of
origin stories. He wants to introduce established characters without having
to explain who they are unless it's like, unless they
say story based thing, you know what I mean, Like about.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Your boy's lantern, what's his guy.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Gardner Gardner with the with the bowl cut. I think
it's gonna be ridiculous to you too.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
I think.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
But it's a good reason why not every comic book
character is comic book accurate. I think that's I think
it's proof that it's okay that characters aren't comic book.
Speaker 2 (24:33):
I mean, it's it's uh, they could have gone the
other direction, because there is throw a home boy.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Like a real role in these movies.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
He keeps giving them dog ship roles, like these funny
little side characters, like he's a good actor when you
give him a shot, like why not let him be.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Taken seriously And yeah, I don't know, I can't.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
I can maybe maybe he will be in this I
don't know.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
I'm not being fair because I haven't seen it, but
he looks like a fucking bullshit side character that's there
for a comedic effect, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
I mean it's Guy Gardner. He is kind of uh,
kind of that kind of character anyways, but he could have.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Been an older fucking uh, I'm spacing now.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
Land now, just Chandler. What's his name, Kyle? Chandler's is
Hal Jordan though along with your boy Aaron Pearce as
John Stewart in The Lanterns Show.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
I like, but like h fucking early edition in a superhero.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
I don't like that brilliant edition, all right, Joe, calm down.
He the thing is, he gets a newspaper that's from
the future.
Speaker 3 (25:53):
From the day the next day, so he could stop
an airplane from landing on the highway.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
That was an episode.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
I'm sure it was.
Speaker 1 (26:01):
I don't know I remember that episode, but that was
an episode.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Sounds exactly directly out of uh, you know.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Had three channels when that show came outside.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
I saw every episode with channels.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Because the other t channels was probably like news or.
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Some ship news in Spanish early edition.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
He was also the coach.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
And friend of at Lights the Yeah, yes, there.
Speaker 3 (26:28):
It was in Peter Jackson's King Kong. It was that
was a singer a miss the TX.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
Was cool though.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Well speaking of swinging and missus. Uh, not that I've
seen it or hurting really about it. Uh. There's this
like a fake uh post credit scene for the new
Jurassic Park, the Jurassic World rebirth that someone has made
where uh they make it look like Johansson's character turns
(27:01):
into a raptor, like mutates into a raptor, but it
has a ponytail. I gotta send you the photo because
like someone did such a good job of like like
making it look like because it must have be scenes
from the movie, because it looks like someone took it
like stills with their with their phone, because it's like,
you know, it's got that like I took this picture
(27:23):
in the dark of a movie screen. But it starts
off and if you pay attention to it, you can
tell it's not real for two reasons. When I don't
I think the internet would blow up if that was
a scene that happened already. You're like, or you shouldn't
fucking shit me, but the first scene that shows the
(27:43):
mutation is different and more further along than the second picture. Okay,
so you're like, you know it's not You're like, oh,
this is actually out of order. So you fucked your
own joke up. But uh, it had people on I
think I saw it reposted on Twitter. I can't remember,
but like people are like, I can't believe they've done this.
(28:04):
I'm not gonna see this movie now. I was like,
are you you You can't be thinking this is real.
But people are dumb, so they think it's real. But
I thought it was pretty funny because like she transforms
into a raptor and the raptor has a blonde ponytail.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
What's funny is that I didn't see the last.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Oh that's fucking terrible.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
So yeah, but I heard this one was actually pretty good.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
So from the one thing I have heard is this
is essentially kind of like a not a shot for shot,
but like almost like the first movie in a way.
But they do the one thing I'm excited though to
see and see how they do it is there was
a scene in Joe and I talked about this before,
(28:55):
I think on the podcast from the book that was
fucking terrifying. Well besides John Hammond being eaten alive by
those little fucking green dudes spoil alert by the way,
for the book, that's how he dies. Uh, but uh
he gets spit on and he falls and gets fucking devoured. Anyways,
(29:16):
there's a part where Alan uh and the kids I
think with Malcolm, I think he's with him at that
time at that point, are trying to get back out
of they get out of the uh. They're basically in
like the enclosure area, but there's a uh there's a
(29:37):
river that runs through the island and they're like, oh, here,
like we can go over here, we can get this
boat and we'll we can ride the river towards because
it goes to the compound like the welcome center, right.
So they they get this inflatable raft going. But when
they do, uh, they disturb a t rex nest and
(30:02):
so Mama like there's a baby like baby t rex
like chilling and starts to chase them. So they go
in the water real quick with the boat and Mama
comes out of the bushes and it's like, hey, you're
fucking my kids. They're like, hah, fuck you, dinosaur. We're
in the water, and the t Rex jumps in the
water and swims after him. Yeah, And it's in a
(30:24):
scene like that is in the new one, because in
the one of the plot points in the new movie
is there was a hurricane and a family that was
uh like on a fishing boat or something got wrecked
on the island and they can't their boat is wrecked
so they can't get off, and they and Scarlet Johnson's
group finds them, and at one point that happens to
(30:45):
them there they basically are trying to get away and
they get on the river and the fucking dino just
jumps in after him.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Sounds like this one's a mix up of some of
the other sequels.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
Uh, I mean probably. I mean they have a lot
of fucking things they have to do, and I don't
even know, Like, all I know is they're going the
island for some reason to like get Dino DNA uh,
for some reason. I don't know what that reason is.
I didn't look into it. I thought maybe if I
actually watch it at one point, i'll, you know, hopefully
it'll explain everything to me about me having to watch
(31:16):
a YouTube video of explaining the loose plot of the
dinosaur movie.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
I think I watched the new one.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
I don't know, I might go watch the other one
since it's like it's places now, it's free some places. Yeah,
but the way the one before that ended just pissed
me off so bad.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Oh yeah. The the two Jurassic World sequels were completely
hot garbage. Well, okay, the first half of the second
one was alright, but like sad because like the dinosaurs
losing their home. But like the third movie was utter garbage,
and like, isn't.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
It weird that?
Speaker 3 (31:59):
So we'll look at the first two trilogies basically as
its own entities. How Like, I feel like, obviously the
second one didn't follow the exact same thing, but I
feel like it made the.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
Same mistakes the first trilogy made.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
It's like, because the the first Jurassic World, the first
one with Chris Pratt, was so fucking good. It was
such a good like spirit not even the spiritual, but
like an actual sequel to the first one, where I
was like, man, I wish this was I wish it.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
Was Jurassic Park. And the Jurassic World, like.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
It would have been such a cool fucking one too,
And then they make the same and it's like I
always side, like you can't take them off the island either, like,
don't ever take him off the island. It's now fucking
you see a t Rex running down San Diego, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Fucking instantly not fun. It's just not cool anymore.
Speaker 3 (32:56):
And then the second one had that weird ship which
I don't know how shook out in the third one,
but that weird like cloning thing, and then like this
takes a clone or something and they're selling them off
for weapons and stuff. So yeah, gas, but yeah, that's
why I thought maybe this new one was was gonna
be okay, because it looks like it's back on an island.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
It's like, yeah, keep them on an islanders.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Just so from what I from what I heard before,
And again this was early on. This one is taking
a plot point from the actual sequel book, Lost World.
Do you do you know the history of Lost World? Okay,
(33:41):
so all right.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
I read the first book in high school.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
All right, So the first book was fantastic. Second books
fantastic two. By the way, if you if you don't
go by what the movie is. So Michael Crichton never
had a sequel for Drastic Park. Drastic Park was its
own own book. It's just analone book. Everything happened on
it that was it, including the fact that Malcolm technically
(34:08):
should have died, but they kind of pseudomapped around it anyways.
So in the second book you find out that I
Kimera of the name of the islands, Ela Done or
whatever it is. The main island Jurassic Park is a
second is actually a secondary island that was the resort island.
(34:29):
That was the island that was supposed to have the
park and the resort area on it, much like because
that's what Jurassic World was, where they basically expanded it
out to be more of just not just a weird,
crazy dinosaur zoo, but like a resort with like attractions
and rides and the little ball things you go on. Right,
So there's actually another island that's right next to it
(34:50):
in that chain of islands, and that is actually the
breeding ground, that's where the dinosaurs are actually bred and raised,
and then they're moved to Jurassic Park. So in the
second book, the whole premise is they're going there because
they hear that the dinosaurs are breeding and they're like, hey, like,
(35:15):
they're like there, it's overrun, so they go there, right.
So that's apparently what this movie is sort of about
is another island. They're not going to Jurassic World because
a that one was destroyed by a volcano. I don't
know if you guys realize, Oh, yeah, so this one
(35:36):
is a secondary one. That is I don't know if
it was a lab like the first one was, even
though they show a lot of lab stuff going on there,
or it wasn't because I think, again extrapolating from what
I saw on the trailers, this was again an island
where they're kind of like, we're letting the dinosaurs kind
of be free and roam around, but someone built a
(35:58):
facility there and was doing testing on dinosaurs, and you
have a new mutated dinosaur that is like the ultimate
predator again, because you know, that's what we need to
do with these dinosaurs. Yea, yeah, hey, let's eve let's
evolve them into even more ridiculous killing machines or or
hear me out, let's not Kingpinn mister, I got eight
(36:23):
by fucking bloon er boys. Yeah. So again, I don't
know all the deals. I just know that like that's
they're the Scarlar Johansson is in uh Misha fucking Blade,
I Camember what's his name? Yeah. Uh, they are essentially
just mercenaries, and I don't know if they're dino experts
(36:47):
versus just mercenaries.
Speaker 1 (36:49):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
They are tasked to bring this scientist to the island
because he has extract dino DNA for some reason. And
then they I guess they stumbled upon a this family
that wrecked over on there, but also this like lab
or something that they're they're they're doing there. I don't know, Uh,
that's what I can assume. But speaking of that, actually,
(37:13):
uh side Tangent on this, Uh, we were at I
think we I think I saw a target first, but
then I think I saw at Walmart there's like a
three and a half foot long t Rex dinosaur toy
you can get.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
The box is like like literally like probably two feet long,
and then it has a detachable like tail. I guess
that adds on to the dinosaur. I was like, dude,
that's a big dino. Like it's a it's like a
like a good dog sized Dino and I was like,
uh what now? So, yeah, I thought that was pretty cool.
(37:53):
But yeah, so I know that's I kind of want
to watch it. But like also, like those last two
were so bad, dude, Like it's it's what makes me
feel good about this movie. Is Garth Edwards? Is Garth
Edwards is his name?
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (38:15):
I think that's his name, the director guy, the one
they did, he did Rogue one. Yeah, yeah, uh he's
he's directing this one. Gareth.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
That's a good sign.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Edwards Is that his name? Yeah, Gareth Edwards? That was right,
because like he did that that he did Rogue one,
he did the the first reboot of the Goddilla movies,
the one with uh fucking Walter White, and uh uh.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Yeah for what they are.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
I enjoy the Godzilla Kong movies, but that first Godzilla
movie was so good, like legitimate good for sure, not
like fun just fun like the new ones are, you know,
like just actually good.
Speaker 1 (39:07):
And I kind of wish they made another one in
that vein.
Speaker 2 (39:13):
Win Guard.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
They're kind of a car crash, but.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Yeah, they're definitely a pop cornish movie more than anything else.
Do you remember if they said who oh yeah, that's right,
that's who wrote it. Uh the guy who wrote uh
the original, I mean he wrote he wrote Lost World too,
(39:40):
but where I could go there? Uh he wrote Jurassic Park. Uh,
David Cope wrote this new one.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
Okay, how would you rank the the Jurassic Park.
Speaker 2 (39:55):
Uh, Jurassic Park will always be number one because it
was magical. Yeah, I didn't finish the story about Lost World.
I'll get back in the minute. That was my fault.
I got on a tangent of talking about stuff. I
would say, so Jurassic Park is by far than the
best one because of the nostalgia and the fact that
it was kind of like this weird like it was
(40:17):
like it's one of those things where like it had
this like even now if you go back and watch it,
it still holds up really well, but it's like it
just holds this place where like it was like the
perfect storm of like everything was in it, Like acting
was really good in it, the characters, everything was like
super well done. It was very clever, clever girl movie.
(40:43):
And then I would say Jurastic World would be the
next one, and then the rest can go fuck off.
And but if I had to rank them, it would
be fucking tough because they're all just straight dog water. Uh.
(41:04):
It probably Lost World, even though the plot holes in
that movie are just absolutely ridiculous, like a pot holes.
Not like the third one, right, No, that's the second one.
Drastic Part three, Oh, that's not good. Actually, know what,
(41:24):
I might put Drastic Part three ahead of Last World two? Yeah,
I would. Actually they're both.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
Kind of ridiculous, but I think we put three slightly
ahead of two.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (41:35):
Three where it just kind of bums me out so
bad in the second one, like when they're because they're
in San Diego, right, yeah, he gets off the shipping
thing in San Diego and then I actually, I mean
they probably irritated you. But even as a kid, I
knew San Diego pretty well, and I was like that,
(41:56):
that's too close to that, that's not you know what
I mean.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
It kind of it was kind of weird how it
worked out.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Yeah, it's not They didn't represent San Diego nearly as
well as Demolition Man did because they were in San
Diego and part of it at the Convention Center, the
taco bells after the fast food Wars. Uh. This is the
second week in a row that we've brought up a
dimension Man on the show.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
I'm glad I could be a part of that.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
We were talking about rat burgers last week. Nice, Yeah,
because I remember I was trying to tell Joe's I
think I learned the word hamberg geysa from Demolition Man,
and I can't remember if she says she. I'm pretty
sure she says hamber gaysa in that movie, right when
she's talking about Raton.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
I think she just says it in Spanish.
Speaker 3 (42:45):
Yeah, I don't think she actually says hamburger, but I'm
not sure.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
I can't remember. Yeah, anyways, Yeah, so I would say
Jassic Part three, then maybe Lost World? Did Lost World
make me more mad or less mad than the Seconds?
Speaker 1 (43:03):
I promise you less. I know you well enough that
it has to be less.
Speaker 2 (43:07):
Yeah, I do believe the second. The cloning thing really
really fucking pissed me off, because like, why is your
first step a little girl? It's creepy.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Remember they were teasing it. I haven't seen it since theaters.
I've only watched it the one time.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Watched I never went back and watching it.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Don't you remember, Like.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
They were setting up this weird thing between the dead
mom and the girl that I thought they're gonna say
that was a clone of the mom.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
Yeah, which I thought was gonna be even worse than That's.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
What they were leaning towards the whole, like they're really
fucking heavily and buying it.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
Yeah, that's almost as creepy as George Clooney trying to
fuck that little girl robot in uh Tomorrow Land. I
mean you didn't try. I mean yeah, anyways, uh so,
then yeah, I would say Lost World. And then it's
(44:05):
a toss up between those last two Jurassic World movies
because they were both fucking just trash. You could definitely tell.
You can tell that Chris Pratt was like phoning in
the last one though, because he did not want to
be there. Well yeah, I mean he's a little too
(44:26):
busy for his own good.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Is he's gotta he's gotta chill out.
Speaker 3 (44:31):
Maybe do something that's like a big franchise for a minute.
Maybe maybe do a a small realistic comedy again, Yeah,
a little bit, because that that Amazon movie he did
was dog Ship to.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
The Sci Fi One. Yeah, that movie kind of made
me mad. Had so many good people in it, had
a really good premise, and then they just like someone
didn't know how to execute it very well.
Speaker 1 (44:59):
It's too too messy.
Speaker 2 (45:01):
Yeah, also like it was just too much for one
movie too like it then you need to be three
hours long to have all those plot stuff going on
in it. Yeah, So to go back real quick before
I forget again. So the whole reason Lost World the
Book exists is because Michael Crichton hated Lost World the movie.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Oh it, I didn't realize it came out after the
movie did.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
Yes, well it, so it came out. The book came
out almost exact same time the actual movie did. But
he got he got the script. He was able to
read the script for it, and was so mad that
he brought Malcolm back from the dead technically from because
in the first one he's in a he's in the
(45:47):
helicopter crash, right or is it in a boat? I
camera what it is, but basically like he essentially dies,
like he's supposed to drowned, so he basically makes it.
So he watches up on the show or of like
Costa Rica or like nearby or whatever wreckage, and so
he's saved and he wakes up in Costa Rica and
he's explaining, like explained to what happens and he has
(46:09):
like PTSD. It's fucking gnarly, which you'd think you'd have
PSD PTSD after going through what you went through on
that island. Yeah. Uh so yeah, so that like he
was so mad at what they did with it that
like because he really enjoyed the first movie and like
what they did with obviously he knews that they like,
(46:30):
you're never gonna cram be able to cram all the
stuff that you have in that fuck into one movie.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
It's just impossible, violent and either as successful.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Yeah, because there's a part where like the at one
point they're in the visitors center in the book and
the raptors are on the roof, uh and they're like
they're trying to basically hide so the raptors can't see
him move inside, and then they start like breaking in
through the glass seat.
Speaker 1 (47:00):
The glass dome thing.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah, and I'm like, fuck, dude, that's and and that's
when John Hammond's like I'm gonna fucking skid out on
and he runs and he fucking gets like I think
he falls, and then like the little like they they
new in him where he fucking gets spit spit on
and then like like he's like his leg's broken or
some shit like that, or his like ankle or something,
and then he gets swarm by those little fucking green.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
I might have imagined this, but or I read it
might have been like a joke article that I don't know.
But are they doing or did they do something that
shows uh Newman's backstory in the movie about why he
was selling everything and why he did.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
The hacking man?
Speaker 2 (47:43):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Okay, maybe I just read like a pitch online.
Speaker 3 (47:48):
I can't remember, but I remember distinctively recently reading maybe
it was like an.
Speaker 1 (47:54):
Ideal for like a book or something like that.
Speaker 3 (47:57):
But somebody was talking about like getting a prequel to
Jurassic Park that centers around him selling that, like stealing
the technology or stealing the secrets and the passwords and
everything and how he got reached and everything about why
he basically fucked everything up. I was like, that would
have been interesting, Like it would have been as fun
because the dinosaurs aren't as prominent, like they really have
(48:20):
no part for a dinosaur.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
To be in a forefront for anything at that point.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Yeah, but that is the one thing coming out that
first one we were like, why did.
Speaker 1 (48:28):
This guy do that? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (48:31):
What was I mean, obviously he was selling the DNA
to like a rival company, but like it's like where yeah,
like why was he so like he could have well,
I mean obviously he fucked things up because his little
plan didn't go the way he wanted to. I'm pretty
sure he didn't want to. He didn't really calculate the
fact that the storm was going to come in at
(48:51):
the same time as like his hats were going on. Yeah. Yeah,
So Michael Krank was so mad about what they did
is he literally resurrected Malcolm from the dead, wrote a
second book which was like essentially like the like the
plot of Lost World where there was a second island. Uh,
(49:13):
but like there was no Malcolm's like step daughter or
whatever or half daughter or whatever with Gymnastic, that part
wasn't in it. Like yeah, oh yeah, for.
Speaker 3 (49:24):
Guys, she took out a raptor doing the fucking uneven bars.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
Yeah. By the way, a raptor that outweighs her about
like two hundred and fifty.
Speaker 1 (49:32):
Pounds she had she did like three.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
Yep, momentum does a whole lot when you're outweighed.
Speaker 1 (49:42):
The knocked the ship out of that fucking Raptor.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
Yeah. So uh, basically I am sort of excited about
seeing this movie, but also like apprehensive. Yeah, like a
lot of people who are in it and involved with
it make me want to see it. But the last
(50:09):
two movies, oh man.
Speaker 3 (50:10):
It's just crazy how they're pumping out sequels so close
to each other now, and like it's turned into a
superhero movie, the Jurassic Park franchise.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Everything is, man, It's just they just pumped it out
too fast, dude.
Speaker 1 (50:23):
Like it's cool to let it breathe.
Speaker 3 (50:24):
I think that's why Jurassic World works so well, because
it was so long since we had a Jurassic.
Speaker 1 (50:27):
Movie, you know.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
Yeah, and they're like, hey, we we I think the
I think the bad taste has finally like left everybody now.
Speaker 1 (50:35):
But everyone still remembers.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
Okay, and I didn't watch the last one, but the
one before that was so fucking rough.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
Cud well, dude, done right now. That third one not
much better.
Speaker 3 (50:48):
I did see a clip from it the first time
ever of some big ass dinosaurs fight, and I was like,
those parts are always kind of.
Speaker 1 (50:56):
Cool, yeah, because they do look cool. Shit.
Speaker 2 (50:59):
But yeah, the real problem with that movie is the
plot of the movie isn't around dinosaurs, Yeah, it's it's
around mosquitoes.
Speaker 1 (51:13):
That makes me.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
So the basically someone said, hey, we can kill these
dinosaurs because we can infect them with this like thing
that we can hide essentially with the Yeah, it's yeah,
it's real. It's it's just real, bad dude, Like they're
not technical mosquitoes. I don't want to ruin it in
case you do watch it, but like it's not it's
(51:39):
not good in any fashion at all whatsoever. And a
lot of people trying to do the whole Chris Chris
Pratt fucking hand thing to the dinos, and I'm like, yeah,
like that's that's not how this that's not how this works.
Like yeah, he was the trainer and he them from
(52:00):
like little babies, and even then they they're fucking there.
Speaker 1 (52:04):
They're edgy, dude, gonna work or not.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
Yeah, I think there was a guy though he gets
his hand bit off because he does it.
Speaker 1 (52:13):
Oh good.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
Yeah, So I.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
Was thinking I was because every now and then I
rewatched the last like fifteen minutes of Jurassic World in
the big final game where they the o g comes
out happy, gives me goosebumps. Still, it's so cool. But
I was like, because at the very end, when the
dickhead dinosaur gets eaten by that giant shark, that uh,
(52:40):
the blue kind of fucking side eyes owen a little bit,
and it's like, it was like, I wouldn't be so
fucking funny if Blue just ate them right, fucking drug
him away and all the.
Speaker 2 (52:55):
Kids even more traumatized.
Speaker 3 (52:58):
To reinforced the fact that dinosaurs are bad. I don't
care if they helped you beat a bigger dinosaur.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
No, dinosaurs are cool. Even the t Rex kind of
fucked with people. And that's the good guy in all the.
Speaker 2 (53:09):
Movies, which is why I'm excited about the new one,
because he definitely like the Dinosa the t Rex, and
it doesn't look like he's a good guy. He's like, no,
I'm gonna eat these motherfuckers, which makes.
Speaker 3 (53:22):
Sense but also kind of a bummer. Like the t
Rex again, you need a root for one of them.
Speaker 1 (53:28):
The raptors were always dickheads.
Speaker 3 (53:31):
The only time the raptors helped was when they created
something new in Jurassic World, and you trained them since
their babies.
Speaker 1 (53:38):
So I don't know. I think I'm gonna watch it.
I'm not sure. Oh, I gotta get I want to
get your thoughts, so on going back to Superman because
that's that's how this.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
Weekday, right Thursday.
Speaker 3 (53:50):
Yeah, and like when when do you plan on watching it?
And what what's your because I know how much you
love Superman.
Speaker 2 (53:58):
Uh so I want to watch it this coming weekend.
We all has to be. It depends on Page's schedule
because Hallmark has ornaments launching this week. So ornaments launch.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
Holiday Christmas for.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
Both well some Halloween ones but mostly mostly Christmas christ Yeah, dude,
it starts in July, so they have they have three launches.
One is in April and that's like the yearly ones,
like they're not like those ones aren't holiday specific. There's
like the you know, uh fucking baby ones or whatever,
(54:36):
and like the you know, like Valentine's Day and shit,
like well all around there and I've always eaten that.
Well maybe it's earlier the neighbors in March, I remember,
But the main one is is July and that's when
the bulk like eighty percent of the new ornaments come out.
And then in October. Uh they do a drop of
more Christmas ones and some Halloween ones, but there's a
(54:59):
lot of Halloween one that come out right now as well,
and then later on they've like like I know you'll
be happy because there's a bunch of hocus Pocus ones
and you love hocus Pocus. It's like your favorite Halloween movie.
So like those ones will come out. But like, yeah,
so like this coming weekend is like the is Ornament launch,
(55:23):
like the big bulk of them. So we have to
kind of work around what she's gonna be working. Plus
obviously I work the weekend. Well I mean part of
the weekend them off Sundays and days. But yeah, so
I want to see this weekend. I'm excited about it
because I'm a giant superman nerd obviously, and I I
(55:43):
would like to to say I have faith in what
they're doing. I am apprehensive about a lot of things,
but and I and I don't know if this is
just the marketing and like a lot of interviews that
I've been watching is they seem to be they seem
to know what they need to do with this. And
(56:08):
like Joe was talking about it last week a week
before I cameraer what it was. He's like, there's a
lot there's like too many cameos in it. And I
was like, well, from what I've heard James Gunn say
is they're not so much cameos and they're not in
the bulk of the movie. They're in a world where
these characters are established, Like people know who mister Trippa is,
(56:31):
they know who Guy Gardner's Green Lantern is, they know
who Hot Girl are. Superman is essentially the new person
and he's been around for about three years. So the
bulk of the movie is about the three characters, Superman, Lewis,
and Lex. And it's basically Lex, who is up until
Superman becomes prominent, has kind of made himself like indispensable
(56:56):
and he's basically I can't remember if it's a Grant
Morrison run or if it's one of the Jeff john
one Jeff John's ones. I didn't it actually might have
been Grant Morrison one. Anyways, there's this story where Lex
has essentially made himself look like a hero. Yeah and yeah,
(57:22):
and so basically like he's he has metahumans as they
call him in the DC world, that he that worked
for him, that he disguises as good as basically like
like the they're not exposed to the public, they do
things shadow op style, and so that's where like in
this movie ultraman or is what people are saying is
(57:45):
ultraman or Well that what they're telling us is ultraman.
But I have a feeling he's either parasite or Bizarro.
I'm not too sure which way it's gonna go yet.
The reason I don't think it's Bizarro is because bizarrow
like it'd be a weird thing. Parasite makes more sense
because that's who you'd want to be able to could
(58:06):
against Superman, Yeah, because you need to be able to
draw his abilities away from him. Anyways, So I don't
think it's actually ultra Man, but I digress. So there's that.
And he also has what is her name from the authority? Uh?
(58:29):
She makesh it out of nano bits of her body.
His authority's over here somewhere. I could pull up and
tell you what her name is. I can't remember. It's
not not the Alchemist. It's got a name like that. Anyways,
So he uses them to basically like do nefarious things.
But then he basically like makes it look like he's
(58:51):
a good guy out of things, and but Superman comes out,
and everyone was like before Superman is in the limelight,
Lex with like the guy like when you needed stuff done,
like if you needed help, you went to Lex and
he would use these people, these meta humans to like
do good even though they're most likely the ones doing
(59:14):
the bad. So you come to Lex, you know what
I mean. So it's basically about Lex not being in
this not being like in the limelight anymore, and like
in the spotlight, and like Superman taking that by just
being Superman, and so Lex is like, Nah, this motherfucker
gotta go. So there's that. But yeah, So basically it's
(59:36):
like the movie of like those those like Lois Clark,
Clark Kalel, Superman what do you want to call him?
And Lex, and like they're basically like coming to like
their own in the story, like in their in their lives,
you know what I mean. Because it's like Lois is
(59:57):
this like hard nosed reporter who's like who's no, she's
like at the top of everything, like she's the number
one at the Daily Planet, like and and just in
news in general, I guess, but she's there. They're putting
her out more as like a a photo journalist more
than just a regular reporter. So she's out in the
(01:00:18):
Field more and uh she's also very smart apparently not.
I'm not gonna shoot on Margot Kidder, Mark, Margo whatever,
Margo kid what was her name? Margo played Lewis Lane
(01:00:39):
in The Reeves, Batman or Superman's Margo? Okay, sorry anyways, Uh,
she heard like her portrayal of Lois was always like
this bumbling damsel in distress, where like Lois was never
like that. So like that's kind of a nice breath
(01:01:00):
of fresh air. But also like I think there's like
a vulnerability in it because like she falls in love
with the two people, like the two Margo Kidder Okay, See,
I was right. I knew he was in there somewhere,
like because I think her story is the fact like
she is trying to like she falls for Superman because
(01:01:21):
like it's Superman, like who doesn't, right, But also like
she has this like kinship with like Clark, and when
she figures out who he is, like it kind of
like sours everything between them. I guess that's what I'm guessing. Again,
I don't know. But the the thing that like James
(01:01:43):
is trying to get everyone to realize in this is
it's not it's not a it's a Superman story, but
it's a self contained Superman story inside of a bigger
world where this movie, the movie itself, does not need
(01:02:07):
to attach itself to a plot from another conjoining movie.
They just happen to be in this like the way
that we looked at back in the day, like the
Netflix stuff where like they reference Thor, they don't ever
say Thor's name, they talk about a guy with a hammer.
It's in the bigger world, but like those stories don't
(01:02:29):
affect this thing going on over here. Now, will Superman
be featured and stuff, Yes, obviously he will be, But
like his story in this and the other Superman movies
do not their standalone movies. I mean yes, they probably
go to each other, like the next Superman movie will
be obviously a sequel, but like not a continuing story
(01:02:53):
sequel other than the Superman story, like this doesn't end
like a cliffinger, like oh wait for the second one,
Like it's a standalone story. The next one will be
another standalone Superman story, and then the other ones will
be their own thing. And that's why I think the
things like Lanterns is gonna be beneficial because it gets
to tell you a Green Lantern story without having to
(01:03:14):
link it to Guy Gardner like directly, Like he's probably
gonna be involved in it, right because he's on He's
on Earth. Yeah, so like that's kind of cool the
way they're doing it, and like they're not like.
Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Uh, you would know better than me because I I
never really read a lot of Green Lantern stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
How many lanterns are on Earth at any.
Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
One time, So technically one.
Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
Is that now we're like we got three active ones
on Earth.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
Yeah, so the lantern show is gonna be a buddy
cop show, uh in someone like someone I believe it
was a quote from Tom King. I think he said
it's it's uh kind of like lethal weapon but in space.
(01:04:07):
Because at this point, how hol In and John are
not Earth's uh lantern Guy Gardner is they are space cops. Basically,
they they patrol the sector and basically like Hal is
(01:04:29):
essentially training John to be the new Sector's lantern, like
so he they do more than just Earth and our Soul,
our our galaxy. They do outside of that. And we've
seen them on an Earth looking planet, so they probably
hear at one point whatever, right, because he might have
come I don't know. I don't. We don't know this
(01:04:50):
the plot just yet, but from what I from what
they've said about it is it's a buddy cop show
in space. So there'll probably be on other planets, on
ships on whatever, you know, flying through the cosmos and
you know, taking care of batties. But then you got
Supergirl bro with Lobo.
Speaker 1 (01:05:12):
Yeah that's wild.
Speaker 2 (01:05:14):
Brah Brah decided about that one too. Yeah, it's the
it's the girl from a House of Dragons, amongst other things.
But the best part is it's like she's tiny. Like
that's like my favorite part about it is like she's like,
so Supergirl in the comicos has always been kind of like,
you know, it's not like like buff, she's not wonder
(01:05:38):
woman like yoked, right, but she's always like she's obviously
got super strength from being an alien. But like in
this one, like they casted a girl she's like five
five or some shit. Let's see if I can pull
it up real quick, super Girl. Uh oh, twenty twenty
(01:06:01):
six movie.
Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
There go.
Speaker 2 (01:06:03):
Her name is Millie Allcock.
Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
Ummm, let's see this probably doesn't have her heights in here.
She's from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Speaker 1 (01:06:22):
Dang America can't get shipped.
Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
Right now, Superman's American.
Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
First time.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
Yep, it's very true. Millie all Cock, Uh, she's yeah,
she's five to five. And then you got her going
up against Lobo, which I don't know if Lobo is
(01:06:50):
technically the bad bad guy in this one. I mean
he's probably not a good guy, you know, I mean,
like definitely probably not a good guy. Uh. How tall
is Jason Momoa six', Four so you have almost a
whole foot difference Between lobo And, supergirl and she's gonna
(01:07:11):
be handling him mightily because when she lets, go obviously
she can be pretty fucking. Strong, yeah so that's kind of.
Speaker 3 (01:07:20):
Exciting but also it doesn't it's.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
A movie and it does not take place On, earth
so that's kind of. Cool it's gonna be alone alien
shit because IT'S i guess it's loosely based not really
based on but like The Tom King Uh, Supergirl Uh
woman Of tomorrow is that the name of? It like
(01:07:47):
that inspired, it but it's not based on that comic.
Book so everyone's, like, oh they're changing, Things like, no
they don't want to rehash stories that we've already know
they want to make something new for which is the same, what,
LIKE i think it's A i, THINK i think, AGAIN
i hope it's a fresh way of doing it versus
(01:08:10):
What marvel has, done where they take they loosely base
it on things Like Civil wars obviously loosely based On Civil.
War Winter soldier was, Well Winter soldiers heavily based On Winter.
Soldier obviously events kind of change a little differently in.
It and, obviously like the whole Fucking Infinity saga is
(01:08:31):
based on The Infinity, saga and these newer ones like
this new the newer stuff is obviously multiverse, stuff which
obviously they're steering more away from because like they realize
it's too hard to fucking balance all that, shit which
is what happens in the comic books, anyways because people are,
LIKE i don't know what's happening, anymore because like there's
fifty Four Spider, mans but none of them show up anywhere.
(01:08:53):
Else you would, think, like, hey you have a whole
army Of Spider. Man wouldn't they be a benefit to
helping The avengers all the. Time can you imagine it's
like an army suit Of Spider man's helping out The
avengers all the, Time like The avengers be, like, well,
shit like we ain't got much to do because that
that That Spider man is a t. Rex that one's
(01:09:14):
got nine, Arms like what's going on? Here and why
is that one a? Pig and why is that one
talking like old timey guy in black and? White? Um,
yeah what is that the guy from Leaving Las? VEGAS
i could have said Raising arizona in.
Speaker 1 (01:09:35):
Sixty?
Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Seconds WHENEVER i think gone in sixty? Seconds i'm. SORRY
I timothy oliphat steals so many scenes from that? Movie
are you? Okay, yes, dude that's the line right? There, No,
no seriously listen like are you you just drove that?
Wall are you? Okay such a great fucking SCENE i.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
DID i didn't.
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
MEAN i saw that movie so early on that later,
on WHEN i realized Who Timothy oliphant, was like WHEN
i started being, like you, know see him and recognize,
him it didn't even compute that that was him and
got in sixty seconds UNTIL i went back and.
Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
REWATCHED i was, like oh, shit that's.
Speaker 2 (01:10:08):
Right oh that's him. Man oh and not Not rupert,
friend who's apparently also In drastic world, rebirth so full. Circle,
yeah that's HOW i do. Things, seges on the other,
hand sometimes are real bad, still so be happy, there.
Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
Man and then He james also confirmed That clayface they're
doing A playface, movie and so it is in the
world Of. Batman but we, like obviously not The, batman
but A. Batman he's not a obviously we don't know
(01:10:54):
where the state of that's at because from what some have,
apothesized like, uh insider information uh or not if it's,
insideration like fucking people are like cam and, shit but
like from uh casting notices For brave And bold is
(01:11:16):
there's gonna be Two batman Two batman's, WELL i guess. Three,
technically if you consider the else worlds The, batman.
Speaker 1 (01:11:26):
They're turning into comic, books.
Speaker 2 (01:11:28):
They are, WELL i mean because it's a comic, book
but it's it's the.
Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
Bad it's the part that even comic book fans don't
lie about comic.
Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
Books.
Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Yeah, so and the reason why people are like saying
this AND i don't think it's true Because james has
come out and said like he wants to bring everyone
to a younger, level like because like, obviously Like superman's
younger in this. Run he wants a younger Ish, batman you,
(01:11:56):
know and it's kind of be like a it's kind
of being the same problem in the, round the same
vein of like he's like three or four or five
years in but it's not gonna be Like and the
reason people are saying there might be Two batman's because
like in THE, dcu not THE dceu or the extended
what do they call it, now the Eltse worlds, whatever
(01:12:16):
the The batinson, area but there is like A batman
and then A Batman brave in the, bold which will
have A robin. Involved BUT i think it's the same
thing and his people are just. Stupid but, anyways get
back to WHAT i was talking.
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
About it could just be that's the fact that It's
Batman's batman and then there's Rob.
Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
Yeah AND i would, hope uh if they go that,
way they would have an established like Night wing so,
like but the problem is like you'd Need batman to
be a bit, well you don't Need batman to be,
older But batman would be a little bit, older and
then like the Night wing would be like that that middle,
round you, know make that that middle aged one like
(01:13:03):
he's more of like the age Of, superman and Then
batman's a little bit older and wiser and he's been
a little more. Established but we don't know, yet uh,
anyhow But clayface is confirmed by him because they're happy
with the script they have is a RATED r body horror,
movie so we'll. See BUT.
Speaker 1 (01:13:29):
I DON'T i.
Speaker 3 (01:13:30):
Don't like when, movies franchises properties do that Whole we're
gonna do a character from this, world but not give
you the main character from that, world and always feels
weird to, me.
Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
You, KNOW i, MEAN i understand that.
Speaker 1 (01:13:46):
Movie and just like not Have batman as wild.
Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
Well BECAUSE i, mean the nice thing about The Rogues,
gallery they don't have to Be Rogues gallery to have
like you can tell a story.
Speaker 3 (01:13:59):
Without, yeah like the development and everything is, there but
it's like at a certain point when he starts causing
too much chaos at the, end.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
There should be A batman that comes in, me you
know WHAT i.
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
MEAN i mean when there there could, be BUT i,
MEAN i don't know how it.
Speaker 3 (01:14:14):
Goes who would you want to be That?
Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
BATMAN i, mean the my my gut reaction is Like Alan,
richson but he's gonna be that older like he's at
that point he's he's SO i don't say so old
because he's like in his, forties but like he would
be such more of like that Mentor, batman which is
(01:14:41):
WHAT i, mean depending on how you want to do,
it you would kind of want in a, way but
like because he would just be this like but the
like he would be such a massive, person like he's
such a big. Dude AND i don't, AGAIN i don't
know Where james lands on That batman because like A
(01:15:03):
batman brave in the, bold you would want that more
mentory batman with A. Robin, yeah but would That robin
be Like nathan or uh Not Nathan? Drake would that
Be Tim Tim drake or would that be you know
where where we fall in that on that? Robin you?
Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
Know is?
Speaker 2 (01:15:24):
It AND i don't want like a FUCKING i don't
want a Goddamn chris m'donald fucking yeah like somehow you, know,
Yeah i'm. Orphaned how WOULD.
Speaker 1 (01:15:41):
I think that aspect to?
Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
Him that aspect would be great to see like on,
there especially if they BECAUSE i think the the nice
thing about that is there's such a a crazy dynamic
between like those two characters Like assassin Raised batman essentially
(01:16:07):
like he's just as smart As, bruce but like way
more dangerous because he doesn't he doesn't pull. Punches, yeah
like there's no, like, oh there's no Killing like, nah,
Bro i'm, Like i'm gonna kill you because IF i,
Don't you're gonna continue doing these. Things AND i mean
(01:16:27):
to the normal comic book, PEOPLE i think it's a
pretty cool. Aspect but like having developing a story where
like you're not overclouding things with, that like how do
you explain the relationship Between batman and an estranged son
he didn't know he had because you, know he was
kept secret versus like introducing later down the. Road BUT
(01:16:51):
i don't. KNOW i mean there's so many like until
they announced to Like david Corn sweat being Super, man
LIKE i didn't know who he.
Speaker 3 (01:17:03):
Was the only REASON i, well the only Thing i've
ever seen him in Is.
Speaker 2 (01:17:09):
Twisters uh SO i saw him in what's? That Fucking it's?
Not uh The? Crown was he in that? One, no
he's one of those.
Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
Ones if he wasn't one of, THOSE i probably seen.
Him what was he?
Speaker 2 (01:17:28):
In he was in one of those? Ones it's funny,
too because like someone pulled up a like a parallel
between him and uh.
Speaker 1 (01:17:41):
Mm.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
Hmmm, No god damn, It. CODY i learned a, type
you fucking. Idiot. Sorry, Uh he's been a lot of
Things i've seen, around AND i MEAN i just NEVER
i didn't, go, oh, yeah that guy is Getting, superman
(01:18:03):
true as.
Speaker 1 (01:18:04):
Fun wasn't his performance On twisters that made you Think?
Superman he was a little bitch And. Twisters, yeah like
not him the, actor like his.
Speaker 2 (01:18:14):
Character, YEAH i figured you wouldn't mean That Little.
Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
House Of? Cards is that what you?
Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
Him? Now he's only one episode Of there was something
he was in that was hold, on where's? IT i
could have swore it with something like period we Played
romeo and uh something called uh acting for a, cause
(01:18:43):
M i remember where it. Was now he was an
elementary poor. Guy there's something that someone's, like, oh he's
(01:19:04):
in this AND i it Wasn't Twister. TWISTERS i remember it.
Was now it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (01:19:14):
MATTER i did see the one thing that makes me
do kind of and it's a very very small, thing
BUT i did read That James gunn is bringing The
otis character back for this, movie and that made me
happen because as a little, KID i loved that guy
so much growing up on those. Movies but it kind
(01:19:35):
of makes sense why he was never in the other.
Ones it didn't really fit seam.
Speaker 2 (01:19:38):
Wise but, uh did YOU i don't think we've ever
talked about it in our real? Life did? You have
you heard the rumors of who plays His Space? Papa?
AH i don't know if it's confirmed or not Because.
Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
Russell, Kruk, no, sir.
Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
You want to check another? Guess, uh who Plays Joe Rell?
Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Ship it's, no that.
Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
Would be fucking, wild. Dude he went from like Being
Earth daddy to Like Space. Daddy Oh Ship Dad Ship Bradley,
COOPER i can see, that, yeah, dude so like and
apparently he's not really like in. It in, it he's
(01:20:36):
just like a voice in like a hologram because again
they're not really.
Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
First.
Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
One, Yeah Marlon Branda so. Yeah so it's interesting BECAUSE
i was, like, oh that's that's fucking, cool like and
obviously Like Bradley cooper has a very good working relationship
With James.
Speaker 3 (01:20:57):
Gunn. YEAH i always thought there was something weird with
him In marvel. Though do you don't sell he never
did any promotional stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
For any of those.
Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
Movies, well it's the. Thing someone brought up the same,
fact like him And Vin diesel never did the promo.
Speaker 3 (01:21:13):
STUFF i kind of Understand Vin diesel because he's he's
in the booth for fucking two hours and he's got
seven movies worth a.
Speaker 2 (01:21:21):
Dialogue oh, yeah but, like but Also Vin diesel is
like a fucking like, Egomaniac so you think he'd want
to be. IMPRESSED i think.
Speaker 3 (01:21:30):
He did want, to because he lets himself out of
shape in between every fast.
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Movie now have you seen him?
Speaker 3 (01:21:35):
LATELY i mean he's, still to be, fair he's in
better shape than any of us will ever be.
Speaker 2 (01:21:41):
In well well, no well, yes but like he was
just like some somewhere announcing that like.
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
His career on being a fucking action hero you know that.
Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
Can beat up the. Rock i'm just, saying, WELL i don't, know,
Uh Terrence, rosemore that's who was who Plays. OTIS i was,
LIKE i know he's in here, Somewhere Otis Otis. Otis so.
(01:22:15):
Yeah to answer your question from an hour and twenty
two minutes, AGO i DO i do hope this is
good because obviously it's the starting point for so much
stuff they have planned, already but also because that is.
Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
The reason nobody gave a fuck about the last five
FUCKING dc, movies so we should hopefully well you know
there's other.
Speaker 2 (01:22:39):
Reasons oh, yeah it's, dude this has been just.
Speaker 1 (01:22:44):
Like the worst worst case. Scenario, dude it's.
Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
THEY i, mean even the fact like he was working
on project, obviously like the, time the timelines are so
jumble up and like how people perceive the events this
happened in because like it just came out saying, hey
Like James gunn is co like head OF Dc, movies
(01:23:13):
and people are, like, wait he made one movie for,
them why is he in? Charge i'm, LIKE i guarantee
you that these talks started when he was Pitching Suicide,
squad because LIKE i don't know if you know this or,
Not like most people out there don't realize. This he
didn't get fired From disney In marvel and just Make Suicide.
(01:23:34):
Squad he was already Making Suicide squad and it became
a bigger stories Because disney came out and fired, him
and obviously like that turned around and not be great
because he was co working On Suicide squad and getting
ready For guardians three at the same. Time essentially that's
(01:23:58):
why the same, movie and so people were, like oh,
yeah like you, know you, know like he's he finished
With marvel and just went to D. C i'm, LIKE
i don't you guys don't know how this. Works like
this isn't a oh, yeah let's Give James gunn full
control of THE dc. Universe i'm pretty sure it was
a few years and uh in some talkings and them
(01:24:20):
going to him, like, hey this is what would you
want to do if you were this and, that and
then like that's how it came. Out it wasn't just
like one week and they're, like, hey you know, what
The James gunn guy makes some good and good, movies,
right let's just give him everything. Everything, yeah you.
Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
Know but then they were, like, oh by the, way
everything restarts WHEN i take, over and they had a
bunch of movies, left and remember it was coming right
off the fucking like everyone's Excited calvihill's coming. Back, yeah
because they publicly fired him like the year.
Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
Before, yeah they're, like, yeah he's. Done he's not doing
LIKE i don't.
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
Understand, why you know WHAT i, Mean, like it's not my.
Speaker 3 (01:24:58):
Fault he guys keeps during these fucking edits and making
our movies look. Bad and THEN i loved how LIKE
dc pivoted and blamed The rock for, everything.
Speaker 1 (01:25:09):
AND i was, like that's.
Speaker 3 (01:25:10):
Wild you can blame The rock For Black adam not being,
successful even though Because I'M i didn't Love Black adam BECAUSE.
Speaker 1 (01:25:21):
I thought the seeds were.
Speaker 3 (01:25:22):
THERE i was, like, dude a sequel is going to
be dope With Black adam Versus. SUPERMAN i was excited
about that With colville coming. Back but then it's, like
you blamed.
Speaker 1 (01:25:34):
And the actor.
Speaker 3 (01:25:35):
Too this is kind of disappointing From. Shazam what's the actor's, Name.
Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Zach.
Speaker 1 (01:25:44):
Yeah he he.
Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
Blamed The rock For shazam doing bad because he won't
do a.
Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
CAMEO i was, like, what like a cameo is number
the reason the movie's bad or not? Good you?
Speaker 2 (01:25:57):
Know?
Speaker 3 (01:25:58):
Yeah THEY dc like as much as Like marvel' has,
been AND i do think this is something we got
to talk about another sign, Obviously but as much AS i,
do you Think marvel is kind of starting to right the.
Speaker 1 (01:26:11):
Ship a little, bit.
Speaker 2 (01:26:15):
At LEAST i do.
Speaker 1 (01:26:17):
Fairly, consistent you.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
Know so this is my look on what THEY'RE i
think the obviously going back to The Russo brothers is
probably the best thing they could have. Done but also
like they had so many like pots boiling that the
(01:26:41):
burners just couldn't keep, up you know WHAT i, mean
and them like having them slow down is quite is,
good but also like you can't stretch a character's involvement
too long with, these you know WHAT i, mean like
them wrong Having downy come, back which by the, WAY
i think is more of a red herring than anything.
Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
ELSE i.
Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
THINK i don't think it's fully all just.
Speaker 3 (01:27:06):
HIM i actually think the MORE i think About downy coming,
BACK i don't Think downy would Come he's.
Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
Got all the money in the.
Speaker 3 (01:27:14):
World, yeah it's not coming back for the, money he's
getting a ship ton of. It BUT i don't Think
downy comes back in any way unless he thought.
Speaker 1 (01:27:22):
It Was, yeah there's something, there.
Speaker 2 (01:27:25):
Yeah because he he loves this community like, that he
loves that, franchise like the WHOLE mcu so much that
like that's the reason he like he's, like, No i'm
happy with WHERE i was. At AND i think against
one of those things where like people just don't understand
how the movie business. Works is like that weekend that
(01:27:45):
they announced him At sandy Or Comic, con that's coming.
Back that didn't just. Happen, NO i guarantee you him
coming back As doom was gonna be set as more
of a surprise than an outright WELL i mean it
was surprise obviously, nonownce like holy, shit BUT i think
they were saving that for reveal of him Being. Doom
(01:28:08):
then it was to be a. Headline, yeah but with
the Whole Jonathan major's, thing and they had to pivot
and go from like what would have Been King dynasty
to Being doom's day was less of a, oh we
we're pivoting this way is versus, Like, okay we're just
(01:28:30):
gonna shift the narrative. Now but this was always our.
Plan we just have to change things a little. Bit
i'm not saying that it was Always doom all the.
TIME i Think doom was an aspect of, it BECAUSE
i think their version Of doom was going to take
on the fact That kang is a far descendant Of Tony,
(01:28:51):
stark and that's Why doom was a version Of Robert Downey,
junior either Being Tony stark or. Whatever AND i talked
to this ABOUT i talked to, this about this To,
joe AND i think he talked about To ken. Two
there's a. STORY i think it's in The Ultimate, UNIVERSE i,
(01:29:15):
think which is obviously a lot of The marvel cinematic
unvers is based on that updated version of everything where
in a Universe tony Was doom and he went that
way because he it was Never victor Von doom he.
(01:29:37):
Was he was Doctor. Doom it was just a name
that he got that he gave himself because like he
was threatening to kill the world and, stuff but he
like became jealous of Read, richards, okay and in that
he killed his version of Read richards in his his
world and he de made it like he basically he,
(01:30:01):
won like he fucking filled. It and then all of a,
sudden The ultimate version of Read richards before he becomes
the bad. Guy uh spoiler for anybody who doesn't, know,
uh he they accidentally went into his universe and they're, like,
oh look like he's like like everyone's, like oh, shit
(01:30:23):
like The Fantastic, Four LIKE i thought you guys were
dead and they're, like what are you talking? About and
they realize they're not in their world, anymore and Then doom's,
like there's other, reads and he's, like, shit, Like i'm
gonna fucking scour the multiverse And i'm gonna murder every
read possible because i fucking hate this guy to my.
Core and so in that, Iteration stark is Doctor. Doom
(01:30:50):
he was never and if he was ever Iron.
Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
Man and if they existed in the same world at
the same, time it goes to stand That stark would
have been the one to turn you know WHAT i,
Mean like he was applying the weapons for all the fucking,
armies all the, militaries all the bad guys like he.
Was he was instead of being called a warmonger and
(01:31:17):
then changing everything like he, did and he embraced, it you,
know he was actively doing.
Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
That, yeah like he he was The Obadiah. Stain, yeah you,
know like he was he was the front. Thing oh,
Yeah i'm just a rich kid living on my dad's.
Name But i'm, like, YEAH i developed these. Things Oh
i'm against, war but by the, WAY i sell. Weapons.
Uh and then but in the background he's, like, nah,
Dude i'm A i'm literally a fucking power hungry. Warmonger oh.
(01:31:46):
Yeah and so that that was and Then reid exposed. Him,
Go i'm just spitballing, here, right and so he's, like, no,
okay well you exposed. ME i have to take you out.
Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
Now and what If reed was just way smart, too
kind of you, know as being the smartest man.
Speaker 2 (01:32:04):
Alive and That's reed has always been touted as being
the smartest human on. Earth and that obviously would Rub
tony in a bad, way like in a in a
in a in an M C O g M c,
universe they wouldn't Have they would butt, heads but like
in a like competitive, way, like, oh who's gonna be? Smarter,
(01:32:25):
Right and Obviously tony is, clever But reed is like
smart and that of.
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
It With tony's interaction With, bruce, YEAH i, mean because
he was trying to egg him out of, it you,
know get him to lose his, ship like just those
little scenes where he was shocking them and, stuff seeing
if it was, Changed like It's tony is fucking you
know WHAT i, Mean like he's kind of on that
razor edge those FIRST i, mean he created fucking the robot. Run,
(01:32:57):
yeah like he created like all those, Things like everything
Was tony's fault for like the first half of The marvel.
Movies if you think about, it and so it's like
it's not fucking hard to believe, that like one, extit
like imagine if they would take it out pots like
earlier on in the franchise or something like, that anything
(01:33:19):
could have fucking snapped him and turned.
Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
Them, yeah because him being stuck in the cave and
then seeing what his weapons have done to people obviously
turned him to the life of being a. Hero. Right
but if if obistin a BULL i can't, Talk, uh
if he would have just been embraced more of like
(01:33:41):
a father figure versus more of like you know this
like mentor it would have been the other. Way it
definitely would have been the other. Way they could Have
they could have done that whole like two sides of
the same coin type, thing Like tony's like the good
face of everything and Then obadiah is like the. Bad.
Right and then if Ob daya gets like taken out
(01:34:03):
by say like The Fantastic four for, Example, Uh tony
within like, like, no that's that's my father figure just
fucking killed.
Speaker 3 (01:34:10):
Him there's not a bad stretch, too because you're talking
about multiverse, bullshit where what if Fucking Tony's dad was
in the hydra like it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:34:21):
You know WHAT i, mean instead of being on the good, side.
Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
That's that's a very reasonable that's not a, stretch you,
know that's that's very realistic.
Speaker 1 (01:34:29):
POSSIBILITY i don't. KNOW i do think people kind of
ship on the Newer marvel.
Speaker 3 (01:34:35):
Stuff BUT i think it's the RIGHT i think they're
doing a good job of almost like resetting. It and
to be, FAIR i don't watch any of THE tv
shows stuff, anymore SO i have no idea what's going
on over.
Speaker 1 (01:34:46):
There But i'm just.
Speaker 3 (01:34:47):
Talking about The New Captain america And, thunderbolts like just
those two movies.
Speaker 1 (01:34:51):
Alone i'm, LIKE i CAN.
Speaker 3 (01:34:53):
I see the vision if they got the balls to do,
It LIKE i could. SEE i was, like, okay this
is in all.
Speaker 1 (01:35:00):
SAY i.
Speaker 2 (01:35:00):
THINK i think that's why they re they, recut are re,
edited and and kind of changed The New Captain america
movie from being what it was going to be BECAUSE
i don't, know if you've read too much about what
the what the original story was going to, be it
was gonna be a very almost rehash Of Winter soldier
in a, way like the whole like they're, like but
(01:35:25):
it was gonna be The Serpent society being like The hydro.
Replacement obviously in this one there kind of was that
like that aesthetic with like you, Know Gean Carlo esposito's
character and the in in the fucking what's his? Name
the guy From Old brother Weal Thal Tim Blake nelson
(01:35:47):
with like the, leader right is.
Speaker 1 (01:35:52):
Fair?
Speaker 2 (01:35:52):
ENOUGH i mean fair? Enough uh, yes Not George clooney's
friend for the fucking chain, game but uh in that
guy From transformers with The boxers uh dropped tour because
he was also in. It but, UH i, SEE i
can do those jokes with you and you get. It
but IF i do that With, joe he doesn't understand
(01:36:14):
it because he Doesn't he's, like what are you talking,
About JAVEY. R Bardem? No, uh but, uh like the
whole thing was like they're like they pivoted away because
LIKE i guess they were like they saw it, like,
oh like it's too much like what we were doing,
(01:36:36):
Before Like kap was like working for these people and
then ends up them being the bad. Guys so they
pivoted and changed it in more of like the They,
obviously he created The Red hulk as like a terrorist type.
Thing so, LIKE i, know they like they which sucks
because they like there's a bunch of Like Seth rawlin's,
(01:36:57):
character for, example was completely cut from it because they
cut all that serpent society stuff out and made it
just more of like a shadowy organization or well mercenaries
that we're just basically trying to you, know unseat the
seats of. Power uh. Thing but, yeah, NO i get
(01:37:17):
what you're, saying BECAUSE i think that's why they did.
That they did did they, did BUT i can't. Talk
they did do what they did with it because they're, like,
hey let's let's make this its own, thing, right and
we'll sprinkle in things like adamantium so like people know
that that's the thing in the world and make it
(01:37:39):
a you, know obviously like a We we the world
needs the next thing that's just as lucrative and powerful as. Vibranium,
right so we need like we need A c VERSUS.
Dc if you get that, joke And i'm talking about
like not talking about civil war between the, Band i'm
(01:38:00):
talking about alternate current and direct. Current, uh but just
punch his fus his. Face, uh you can't sing, amore old,
man and he's like you look weird and short shorts
you weirdo, Anyways uhlas have you little weirdo with your
(01:38:21):
hat and your short shorts and your ties, Anyways so
LIKE I i think with, that and like the the
world of like THE tv shows other Than, ironheart really
THE tv shows have kind of in a way like
their own in their own little Like. LANE i, mean,
(01:38:43):
obviously Like daredevil showed up in the Last Spider man,
movie but he was. Less he Wasn't. Daredevil he Was Matt,
murdoch you, know but that was more that's more of
an establishing. Camera that's a can't that's, yeah he's a
character that exists in this, world and he's also a,
lawyer so it kind of makes sense to have him
in this. Wan and obviously Having punisher Joined Spider man
(01:39:06):
the next movie is another bridge between those. Things but,
also from what everyone's, saying Is Brand New, day as
it's titled right, now is more of a Grounded Spider man,
movie but it has no tech, anymore, YEAH i mean
other than his web shooters that he has. THAT i
do hope they go in from the shiny suit, though
because it was very distracting when he was doing That
(01:39:28):
Little Christmas, run but like, THAT i think that's the
way to go With Spider. Man and, yes you could
still Use Spider man in the later ones and maybe
give him The black, suit Introduce, miles but you know,
whatever because you need To Eventually Tom holland's gonna out
Age Peter parker unless they continue making them and like
(01:39:50):
evolve the. Character but you know, Whatever but like having
it more of a grounded one and more kind of
like in line with THE tv, shows because the Newer
daredevil is very it pushes the boundaries of of like
grounded and more comic bookie with like the fact like
there's obviously Like bullseye was Very bullseye in this. One
(01:40:13):
did you watch any of The netflix or the new
uh terrible, Stuff like he's he's more he was never
really suited up in, it but he was More bullseye
Than bullseye has ever been in in the movies and
stuff like he's like nonshally throwing knives like dead ass
(01:40:33):
accurate to.
Speaker 1 (01:40:34):
People he didn't kill an old lady on a plane
with that.
Speaker 2 (01:40:37):
Tac no or kill a fly from a fucking his,
Bed but there's, that there's obviously the punisher is just a.
Punisher moonnight was its own little thing with like magic
powers and, stuff but it was again it was like
it's kind of like it's isolated in a, thing but
in a real, world and, yes you could bring him
across that stuff there. Was The werewolf By night was
(01:41:02):
cool because it was, like, again it's own little standalone,
thing and it was cool because they Made they released
a black and white version of, it which was pretty.
Rad Wanda vision was the only one that was really
like kind of spurred. Off, obviously The agatha all along
again is its own, thing but like that one's tied
to SPOILER i guess for anybody who's watching that, Stuff
(01:41:27):
mephesto being like the ultimate bad guy in that, one
and he shows up an iron iron, Heart so like
that's kind of a, thing AND i think that's leading
towards like something, else because LIKE i, guess he was
originally supposed to be, Involved mephisto was supposed to be
(01:41:48):
involved in The thunderbolts, ORIGINALLY i guess from one of
the verse the first iterations of. It but then they're, like,
no let's just go more of like you, Know avenger
style with, it which is obviously was a correct pivot to.
Speaker 3 (01:42:07):
Make the only problem with The thunderbolts Slash New avengers
is like they're kind of nerve down right, now you
know WHAT i? Mean they need another somebody on their
team because if you think if you go, forward because
we read that Like captain is gonna be the leader
(01:42:27):
of The New avengers like, eventually, right because you have
The bucky And captain thing dynamic and they even hint
at it that Like cap is, Up sam is upset
At bucky about forming this new, team but like they'll
work through. THAT i think they both think they're doing
the right. Thing SO i but it's, like you need
you need some firepower on that, team, man because you're
(01:42:50):
not talking about some of the bad guys that they
have coming down the. Pipeline it's like you can't just
have a bunch of, fucking you, know lower level super
soldiers here on the, People like you need somebody with some.
Speaker 2 (01:43:06):
Power, yeah, WELL i Mean cap doesn't really have. Power
well that's What i'm.
Speaker 1 (01:43:11):
Saying he has no power on that. Team, yeah you,
Know bucky is the most superhero e out of all of.
Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
Them they need to rejigger that arm thing, though because
that comes off too.
Speaker 1 (01:43:22):
Easy, yeah they need to like bolt it to this
side or. Something it's just like a strap.
Speaker 2 (01:43:27):
Around because like.
Speaker 1 (01:43:29):
Because that will kind of. Check remember just had the, combination.
Speaker 2 (01:43:35):
You, know and then like this time like, century, WELL
i guess he was technically void at that. Point was
just like.
Speaker 3 (01:43:43):
BA i, mean he's he's got some, power but they're
pretty scared of using.
Speaker 1 (01:43:50):
HIM i.
Speaker 2 (01:43:50):
Guess, well as long as they have him like expel
the void. COMPLETELY i, mean he's gonna be their their
analog To. Superman, yeah you know WHAT i. Mean you
can't let you you can't let him go full blown
fucking hot topic employee on, people because that's, bad like
(01:44:11):
we're you, know you. Can't, yeah you. Can't you can't
let fucking my chemical romance out on these. Motherfuckers you know.
Speaker 3 (01:44:19):
What it's funny because watching that movie when he first
showed up void, style he reminded me of.
Speaker 1 (01:44:28):
Was it one of the was.
Speaker 3 (01:44:29):
It rebirth where the comic book where they Find Flash? Flash,
yeah It flash where they Find, superman but he's been
locked up in that fault all the.
Speaker 1 (01:44:40):
Time that's kind of what it reminded me, of because
he's with the dark hair and.
Speaker 2 (01:44:44):
Everything, YEAH i just love the introduction Of bob and
And uh In thunderbolts Slash New avengers where you want
to call, it because like when you see him in
the in the the, bunker he's just like, hello and they're,
(01:45:04):
like what the fuck is? This and also like all
of a, sudden like he's like bulletproof and they like
he moves real fast or like hold, on wait a,
minute what the fuck's happening? HERE i do like that
plot uh point in that movie, though where they're like
pitted against each other in a way and they're like
they're they realize like almost too. Late they're, like, oh
(01:45:29):
we just got, played like we're not supposed to make
it out of, this like we're Being we're like they're
getting rid of. Us. Shit, Yeah SO i enjoyed that
quite a. Bit BUT i do get you're saying because
like they don't really have anybody uh of of LIKE
(01:45:51):
i Mean bucky, obviously But bucky isn't doesn't it doesn't
even have like the cap level of everything or, WELL i,
Say Steve rogers of, everything because he has a your
version of The super severl the fucking knockoff.
Speaker 3 (01:46:03):
Version so, yeah he's just like FUCKING i don't, know
it's kind of super.
Speaker 2 (01:46:12):
Powdery, yeah he's like to the lowest. Level, yeah he's
he's got the strength of like four and a half. Men,
yeah he's like a.
Speaker 3 (01:46:20):
Gorilla, yeah this is as strong as an eight.
Speaker 2 (01:46:25):
And sometimes almost as smart as. One he. Is he
is a great uh comedic foil in that movie.
Speaker 3 (01:46:31):
Though he is fantastic with the merge at the end
and he's, like, no what DOES z made me laugh so? Hard,
yeah it's good.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
Times, yeah BECAUSE i don't it's gonna be interesting BECAUSE
i have seen some leaked set photos For, doomsday which
is very, interesting AND i don't want, to, LIKE i
don't know if you care IF i spoil, anythings BUT
i can spoil people who are, listening AND i don't
know if they're, real because, again the age of THE
(01:47:04):
ai makes things fucking. Wild but one of the set
PHOTOS i just saw Has doom interacting With. DEADPOOL i
did see that.
Speaker 1 (01:47:16):
PICTURE i don't know if that was, real.
Speaker 2 (01:47:17):
AND i was, like if this is, REAL i am
so confused because, obviously like we have a whole list
of characters that haven't been announced for being In, doomsday
like Including Spider man and that whole, Half like you,
know but it's, like how like who's who's who in this,
(01:47:40):
movie because like you have a lot of, heroes actually
almost all of them were, heroes but then you Have,
downey which is referred to as you, know Doctor, doom
and he's technically a, villain so it's like who? Else
who else is the bad? Guy you know WHAT i?
Speaker 3 (01:48:00):
MEAN i still think they should have AND i know
it's a hard thing to, do BUT i still think
the best move would the ban is they just actually
destroyed our, planet.
Speaker 2 (01:48:15):
Which in in uh the in The column, books that's
exactly what was. Happening, yeah Is doom was using his
new god, powers which one of the ones he it's,
like be amazing if they do it like A thanos
shows up and he just fucking punches into his chest
(01:48:37):
and rips his skeleton out of his, body that would
be pretty. Wild but like that, version like you have
to have a God, doom which would be a little
more hard to explain than just a guy in a
An Iron man suit who's just mad versus god level, power.
Speaker 3 (01:48:56):
Which by the, way That doom mask And Iron man
face pretty.
Speaker 2 (01:49:01):
Similar that's, true.
Speaker 3 (01:49:04):
But, like wasn't it it would have been fucking BECAUSE
i feel like that's how they're bringing in the, fantastic
Because fantastic it's obviously this weird futuristic but past kind
of vibe to. It, yeah you, know so it's, like,
OH i feel Like galactus kills that. Planet LIKE i
feel like that's what's gonna happen because they're coming in
(01:49:27):
on the spaceship at the end of Fucking. Thunderbolts But i'm,
like what if we just fucking get we establish the? Multiverse?
Right we know there's different versions and so that way
you could bring back some of your favorite actors, variations,
right but like just, ended, dude and you can pull
a couple like say you Pull spidey and fucking somebody
(01:49:50):
else get saved because they're like the most important ones or.
Whatever you, know you could do something like that and
then just fucking.
Speaker 2 (01:50:01):
Well and that's the thing with With So doomsday is
setting up what's gonna. Be what you're talking, ABOUT i
think is like basically what they're leading, towards because, LIKE
i don't know do they officially did they change the
name at? ALL i know they changed Obviously King dynasty To,
doomsday but do they haven't changed any other thing, Else,
(01:50:27):
yeah have? They But doomsday twenty twenty six right.
Speaker 3 (01:50:41):
Been Just.
Speaker 2 (01:50:42):
Doomsday, yeah let's See god damn thirty eighth. Film it's
fucking a wild. Dude never would have thought that shit would.
Happen m hm hm.
Speaker 1 (01:51:00):
Hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:51:04):
Okay still listed As Secret, wars which some people have
thought that they're gonna Call they're gonna change it to
Be avengers versus X, Men BUT i think we're gonna
get that more in this movie with the with THE
O G X men coming back and the fact that
they're probably not going to survive this, movie and then
(01:51:28):
like obviously moving forward With Spider man and stuff, like
they could find a whole new world that isn't decimated
by the events that happened in this so he could
be what they're doing is with that is exactly what
you're talking, about is where They're doom comes to this
(01:51:50):
planet in search of a Reed richards, maybe which obviously
brought him here because as we, know at the end
of of the end Of New, avenger Uh read and
teams show up on Our earth in our, universe which
we then would bring in a Read richard's Hunting, doomsday our,
(01:52:13):
doom which then he, goes all, right, cool you're harboring
a Read. Richards how ABOUT i kill everybody, here you
know that sort of. Thing and then Like Secret wars
could be his group that he has symbols of all
the bad people against all the good. People and then
the ensuing obviously they have to find a planet and pull,
(01:52:39):
across and it could be our, planet just with like
pulling people from other planets or other, multiverses like a
new version of THE X men could come. Across that.
Way you could bring in The Miles molaris like they
did in the comic. Books so there's a live Action Mark.
Miles mariles you could start.
Speaker 1 (01:52:55):
With there's a one, Too so there's definitely A mile
somewhere in this.
Speaker 2 (01:53:01):
World, Yeah so like that's What i'm, Saying like there's
a lot that can happen in it That like obviously
you could start fresh with certain things because they like
there's gonna be so much death in these two, movies
like it's kind of mind, Numbing like how many people
are gonna know.
Speaker 3 (01:53:18):
If people of the weird fans that only want to
see the old character or the old actors play the
characters are gonna.
Speaker 1 (01:53:25):
Be so sad when they all get.
Speaker 3 (01:53:26):
Killed, yeah hopefully they go out cool Like tony, did
but some of them are gonna go out like.
Speaker 1 (01:53:33):
Bitches there's just no no way around.
Speaker 3 (01:53:36):
It Like, Yeah and because we've already Had wolverine's cool send,
Off i'm willing to Bet wolverine might not have such
a great time in this next.
Speaker 2 (01:53:52):
Movie and, HONESTLY i think a lot of these they're
not mainstays in the. MOVIE i think they're there's too
many for them to. BE i think they're gonna beacters
in the. Movie so you remember how in an uh
Uh Doctor strange A multiverse Of, madness they're talking about
how like Evil Doctor strange was like essentially murdering. EVERYBODY
(01:54:17):
i think that's what like he Like doom is that,
Role like he's literally jumping from place to, place AND
i think what's gonna happen is like he stumbles upon
different groups of people like THE o G x men
and goes, dead and like he murders them and maybe
takes a bad guy with, him like he brings in
(01:54:37):
fucking saber tooth or some ship, whatever like to be like.
Power and THAT'S i think that's why one of the.
REASONS i think that picture we was talking, about the
set photo of him With deadpool might be real BECAUSE
(01:54:59):
i think he's gonna Eliminate deadpool and and that version
Of wolverine from, Existence like he's gonna like that. Version
but it would also give.
Speaker 1 (01:55:11):
US i think they kind of told us. Too nobody
was listening with the Whole Marvel jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:55:15):
Thing, yeah like they they showed Fucking thor holding them
yeah and being, dead you know WHAT i, Mean like
it was a fucking like they zoomed in on. It
it was there in the movie and then you're gonna
play it off like it didn't mean.
Speaker 2 (01:55:31):
Anything thor is in this. Movie. Yeah so like.
Speaker 3 (01:55:36):
So Maybe Deadpool wouverine are the catalysts to what saves
the rest of them or. Something but they're fucking, gone
And Ryan reynolds. Doesn't he's already stated that he loves
his character but doesn't want to play him. Forever like
there's you, know there's a shelf, life two characters you shouldn't,
Like like.
Speaker 1 (01:55:55):
The Tony stark shelf life was.
Speaker 3 (01:55:57):
Ridiculous there's a thousand movies over the course twelve thirteen
years or something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:56:02):
That he played his.
Speaker 3 (01:56:03):
Character, LIKE i don't think The downey wants to come
back As tony at any.
Speaker 1 (01:56:09):
POINT i don't think it makes any sense for.
Speaker 3 (01:56:10):
HIM i feel the same WAY i think the characters
that still have.
Speaker 1 (01:56:15):
Some juice in. HIM i Think thor.
Speaker 3 (01:56:18):
Will kind of because he's From asgard and The universes and.
Speaker 1 (01:56:22):
EVERYTHING i don't think that's gonna affect. Him, YEAH i
think he can keep showing.
Speaker 3 (01:56:27):
Up but, like tell me how bad ass like an
old Man thor would be in like the Next avenger,
movie the big Gray beard and fucking maybe a little
fucking haggard and.
Speaker 2 (01:56:38):
Started up missing. Hand hell, yeah, dude.
Speaker 1 (01:56:42):
Dope hell, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:56:43):
Bro BUT i think he's The he's the character that
needs a fucking like a proper sendoff out of outside
everybody else because everybody else had their you, Know iron
had Their if we're right about this, Theory, Deadpool, wouverine
they're gonna have their send. Off, Uh Spider man is
still young enough where you know that's just GONNA i
think transition To miles at some.
Speaker 1 (01:57:04):
Point, yeah but uh, yeah that'd be.
Speaker 3 (01:57:07):
Cool just get let him be like the not, leader
BECAUSE i do feel Like cap should be the, leader
AND i think the people also side, note the people
don't Like Sam wilson Being Captain.
Speaker 1 (01:57:19):
America it's hard not to think.
Speaker 3 (01:57:22):
Racist like because everything they've done with that character has
been fucking, awesome and and he has done such a
good job playing that character WHERE i was, like even
this last, MOVIE i was a little. WORRIED i was,
like could you could just give him more tech if
he needed to beef him?
Speaker 1 (01:57:37):
Up you know WHAT i, Mean, like.
Speaker 3 (01:57:39):
Can't tell me it Wasn't tony's fucking thinking about everything
twenty steps. Ahead you can't tell me he didn't have
something For falcon that could you, know soup him up
a little, bit but still keep Him, falcon you. Know so,
YEAH i THINK i Think Old Man thor kind of
fucking not This doom, version but the version after that
(01:58:00):
will kind of transition The Old guard to The New.
Speaker 1 (01:58:03):
Guard so they can keep doing superhero movies.
Speaker 3 (01:58:06):
Because they're never gonna, stop because even though they're making
less money now than they were making four years, ago
they're still making more money than everything. Else so so
as long as there's movie, theaters there's gonna Be marvel
movies going.
Speaker 2 (01:58:18):
On oh for, sure for, sure for. Sure, okay we're
coming up on two Hours Jesus.
Speaker 1 (01:58:26):
Christ should we start?
Speaker 2 (01:58:27):
Recording, oh, yeah because we, could, SO i guess we'll
wrap it up there For mike's, back coming back after six,
months and then you guys are On, Christmas christmas. Time but,
yeah that's, so that'll be it for this week's episode
Of Comes. Naturally we have Been, Mike i've Been, cody
(01:58:48):
and as, usual you fuckers just came. Naturally finger, guns finger,
guns
