Mariana Basílio (1989) nasceu em Bauru, interior de São Paulo. Mestra em Educação (Unesp), geralmente adora escrever, ensaiar, traduzir. É autora dos livros de poesia Nepente (2015), Sombras & Luzes (2016), Tríptico Vital (2018, premiado com o Programa de Ação Cultural da Secretaria de Cultura do Estado de São Paulo – ProAC 2017, finalista da Residência Literária Sesc 2018), Mácula (2020, premiado com o ProAC 2019 e Programa Minha Biblioteca 2021) e Pangeia: A Etimologia do Ser (2020, livro vencedor do Prêmio Biblioteca Digital – Biblioteca Pública do Estado do Paraná; ainda inédito em meio impresso). Em dezembro de 2020 recebeu o “Prêmio Por Histórico de Realização Em Literatura” (ProAC Expresso) pelo romance A Revolução das Rosas (2023).
