CCBB: Chris Mackey - The Positive Psychology of Synchronicity

Chris Mackey (M.A. Clin. Psych.) is a Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society and the principal clinical psychologist at Chris Mackey and Associates, Geelong. He has 40 years’ psychotherapy experience and has presented at numerous national and international scientific conferences over the past 25 years on such topics as the effectiveness of psychological therapy for anxiety, depression and trauma reactions.

Chris has a particular interest in promoting more optimistic and uplifting approaches to mental health. He is author of the book, The Positive Psychology of Synchronicity: Enhance Your Mental Health with the Power of Coincidence. Chris aims to educate the wider community about positive psychology including as a presenter on the TV wellbeing show, Destination Happiness, through his practice’s website at www.chrismackey.com.au, and through the Chris Mackey Psychology YouTube channel.

Chris was recently awarded the 2019 Impact Achievement award at the Australian Allied Health Awards.
