(01:34):
the bun the bone. Garber and ticket Domes did the
wings a little bringing this music.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Empire Empire.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Listen, it is Friday and you're listening to your Soul Chaos.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
N't scol me this turn to when ball bottom the moon, Oh.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Spot to Tollman, the schools.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
There go enough to say both of them.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
It is Control Chaos. I'm Gary Garver. It is a Friday. Yeah,
August first, one more month till football starts. Yeah, you
got the Chargers of the Lions played last night. No,
I did not bet on it preseason. Please come on.

(04:08):
So I have bet on exhibition games. That's a hardcore gambler.
When you bet on exhibition games in football or any sport,
there's a little auzy for you. They laid him the
rest a couple of days ago. Thousands of people showed up,
that's right, thousands and thousands. Yeah, they showed up from

(04:33):
my funeral. Thank you, Ozzie. God rest your soul mark

(05:59):
at the moon. Here on the Control Chaos Radio show,
I'm Gary Garvery. Yes, made it through another month on
planet Earth. Thank god. It was a mellow July as
far as far as weather goes. It wasn't too damn
hot out here, thank god. I remember last year that

(06:19):
it was. It felt like hell for like four or
five months, four months out here, it felt like pure hell,
I mean serious. July wasn't too bad, but August is
a starting off with it being only one hundred and
eleven degrees today, and the rest of August is going
to be hot, hot, hot as hell. So just gotta
get through one more month. Football's around the corner. It's

(06:43):
gonna be fantastic, looking forward to it, looking forward to
heading down to La watching the Chodges play and hanging
out and doing all that stuff. So anyways, you got
any plans this weekend? I have none. I'm not doing
a damn thing. I'm just gonna lay low, fly low,
and avoid the radar. Next week, we're going to La.

(07:04):
Mom and I. Her birthday is on Saturday, August ninth.
She's gonna be eighty eight years old. So I'm gonna
take her down there next Friday, and we're gonna go
see the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Reagan Library and
then hang out in Calabasas and go to dinner, and
then the next day go to the beach. I think
that's a nice little birthday, right, you know, go down

(07:27):
to La check out the Dead Sea Scrolls, and you know,
then go to the beach the following following day and
have a little dinner at the canteen at the Sagebrush
CANTEENA my old haunting grounds, my old hot And it's weird.
When I go to the CANTEENA I always run into
people that I haven't seen in years, but have been

(07:47):
going there for like thirty years, thirty plus years. And
it's like, do you go there every effing day? I mean,
there's certain people that go to the same bar every
like Friday night or Saturday night, or Sunday night or
afternoon or whatever. It's so weird even out here. I
go to the Sammyg's, you know, because they have like
live music, and I like, you know, dancing a couple

(08:10):
of songs or whatever, just hanging out.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
You know.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
When I'm cruising down town, you know, there's a couple
of bars. I go to Las Cusuels and Sammy G's
and a couple of other ones roof Top three sixty.
And every time I go to Sammy G's, it's this
one dude is always there. I mean, he must go
there every Friday and Saturday night. Man, It's crazy. In fact,
last Saturday, I went down there and he was there

(08:34):
he was there for sure. I'm like, damn, I don't know.
I don't want I wouldn't want to go to the
same bar every Friday and Saturday. I just wouldn't want
to be one of those barflies like that. So, but
people like doing it whatever. I don't care. Hey, it's
it's whatever you like doing. I don't give a damn.
I just don't like doing that. Like I like spreading
it out. I don't want people to think, oh, there
he is again every now and then. So this weekend, yeah,

(09:00):
it's probably gonna lay low. It's you know, I mean
I could play golf. I don't know. You know, it's
you know, when you're out here, it's one hundred and
ten degrees, you're not sure if you want to go
play golf. I'm definitely gonna do my rock workout. I
run in this stuff. I actually do run in this stuff.
People can't even believe it. Well, I think I should
do is like do a Facebook live and do my
run while I'm doing Facebook live. Just be live. It's

(09:22):
like about a fifteen to twenty minute run. It's probably
about a mile and a half I think now. I
think it's probably about a mile and a half that
i'd run and yeah, maybe I'll just do a Facebook
live and show prove it to all of you that
I am running in one hundred and ten degree heat
or one hundred and five degree heat. Because I really
am doing this and I am really working out with Rocks,

(09:42):
I'll shoot my rocks too. I was like, hey, there,
this is my Rocks. Due. I was thinking, man, maybe
I should do like a YouTube video and do a
my Rock workout or something like that. I've been thinking
about doing that. I don't know. I don't know. So
on today's show, we have Canan Koubler. He does a show,
a sports show every Saturday morning eight am to nine

(10:04):
am called King Coogler's Sports Radio. It's a kid that
goes to college at Arizona State University. This guy's like
a hardcore up and comer man. I mean, I think
he's gonna be one of these cats that can make
it big in the sports business, sports broadcasting business, because
he's a grinder man, and you got to grind to
make it in this business, in the entertainment business and

(10:27):
whatever capacity, whether you're a musician, an actor, a broadcast
or whatever you decide to do in the business. You
got to grind it out like I did for so
many years before I hit it big producing the Howard
Stern Show. So Cain's gonna call in. We're gonna talk
a little bit about football. We're going to make our
Super Bowl picks. My Raiders are not going to be

(10:48):
in the super Bowl. The Chargers have a chance. There's
a lot of teams out there. The Rams are looking
really good. The Rams have a good chance. He almost
knocked off the Eagles last year. So we're going to
talk a little bit about sports. The Dodgers. I don't
know what the hell's going off. The Dodgers up and
down there only they only got like a three game
lead now in the in the National League West, the

(11:11):
Padres are on their ass and sore the Giants. So
there's something going off the Dodgers. There's something. I don't
know what's going on, but internally, I just feel that
they're making so many mistakes, like errors. There's the Dodgers
are making errors that they never made before, mistakes that
they never made before, lack of concentration. Clayton Kershaw about

(11:31):
a week ago just lit them up because they I
was watching the ball game and they basically dropped a
ball in the outfield that cost Clayton Kershaw a couple
of runs, and then one of the infielders bobbled it
or overthrew the ball or something, and he got pissed.
He was upset about it. So there's something going there's
something not right about the Dodgers this year, even though

(11:51):
everybody was predicting him to win like one hundred and
forty games. It's tough for them right now. And but
you know, it's August. They just turned off. This is
the dog days of summer and baseball where it's just
a grind for the next month for these players, and
then they really kick it into gear in September and
then October of course we have the playoffs. So the Dodgers,

(12:13):
I don't know. The Angels are not gonna make it.
I was hoping beyond hope that the Angels could pull
it off. But they're like four games outside the wild
card race. They still have a chance, and they win
like ten in a row, but it seems like they take,
you know, two steps forward and then one step back.
The Angels, and you know they and I like their team.
They got a great young team, and I think next year,

(12:35):
if they get a couple of pieces, like they get
another power hitter or a couple of pitchers or something
like that, they're gonna be a good team. Keep my
trout and I think the Angels are gonna be a
good team next year. They're one year away, but they
got a lot of good young talent. The Dodgers, I
don't know, there's something. There's something going on with the Dodgers.
I just don't know what it is. I can't put

(12:55):
my finger on it. But they're just not They're not focused,
and it's kind of a it's kind of upsetting if
you're a Dodger fan. I tell you to like what
else going on with then dropping balls? And you know
even you know the Wednesday, they you know, they are
tied up and the guy basically just dropped the ball.
I mean, Andy Pa has had his minting, then has

(13:16):
dropped and then the the Cincinnati Red scored a couple
of runs. The next pitch, the guy hit a double
and that was the end of the game for the Dodgers.
So we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens with
the Dodgers, and hopefully the Angels can run off ten
in a row and get back into the wild card race,
but I highly doubt it. So we have Cad and
Kubler calling in. We're gonna talk sports. Like I said,

(13:39):
he does his show every Saturday, eight am to nine
am Pacific right here on Case. He aa Caden Coubler's
Sports Radio. He's a student at Arizona State Man and
he's really h He's busting ass man. He's he's kicking
ass and taking names. And that's what you need to
do in this business. You've got to be a grinder man.
Nobody's gonna give it to you. Unless you're going to

(14:00):
be an influencer and eat like dog crap or a
tie pod or something, then people will watch you. You
get hits that way. Yout dopes, no thank you, no
thank y'all. Do it the get odd fashion way. We'll
be back after this DC. HI, this is Gary Garber.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
It's Garry Guard.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Control Chaos casey AA ten fifty am one oh six
point five FM in the Inland Empire. I'm Gary Garver.
It is Friday, and right now I have a a
really cool guest on. This guy's an up and commer. Man.
I mean, are you gen Z Caiden? Are you considering
a gen Z? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (19:11):
I think so two thousand and four. I think that
that would put me in gen Z.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Yeh Okay, don't don't give me the gen Z stare
Okay please? Anyway, this guy, this guy's on his road
to being a great sportscaster. Don't be surprised. In a
few years he's calling NFL football games, or college football games,
and maybe even the Super Bowl or something like that.
He has a show every Saturday, eight am to nine

(19:36):
am Pacific. It's called Caden Kubler Sports Radio. It's Caaden Kubler,
Good Morning, Cabler. How I'm good morning, Caden Goobler. What
the hell am I saying? I haven't even had any
Bargeritas yet? How you doing, Kayden? Good morning?

Speaker 9 (19:52):
I know you're you're you're hyped up on your coffee. Gary,
how's it gone that? I appreciate you having me on.
I love I love coming on controlled where we get
a little chaotic with it. But I'm super happy to
be here.

Speaker 11 (20:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:03):
Man, we're so happy to have you on the the
KCAA network. Man, I mean you've been on. How long
you've been doing the show now? It's been like two
or three years?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Right?

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (20:13):
This will be my third year now, this will be
my third year. Very excited. Gonna be the biggest invest
football season yet a lot of big time guests coming
on the show. Caden Tubler's Sports Radio. If you guys
are in the car listening listening to sports at all
is going to be a massive year. I'm very excited
for it.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Yeah, it's gonna be awesome. Man, can't wait for the
football season. It kicked off. It actually kicked off on
Thursday with the Chargers and the Lions doing the Hall
of Fame game, and then you know, we had the
exhibition season and then football kicks off. I mean literally
in like a month, man, September fourth. We got the
Dallas Cowboys versus the Philadelphia Eagles, and then Froddy. Which

(20:50):
I love is that the Chargers are playing the Kansas
City Chiefs in Brazil. I have Chargers I have Charger
season tickets, and they tried to get me to go
down to Brazil, but I'm like, nah, I don't think so.

Speaker 9 (21:07):
That would be fun though, that would be fun.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Oh hell yeah, man. And those chicks out there are hot, man,
of course, you know Gary, No, man, I don't care
about the football. I'd just like to see those hot,
hot Brazilian chicks. I was gonna say another one. It'd
be warm down there.

Speaker 9 (21:25):
But you have yourself in great time Chargers Chiefs. You
can't go wrong with that.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Yeah, exactly. So, Cadan, first of all, you tell us
a little about your about your background and uh, you
know you're going to You're still going to Arizona State, correct, correct?

Speaker 9 (21:41):
Yeah, I'm a rising senior right now at Arizona STATEUM
at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, studying sports journalism.
I originally got connected with Casey AA because of a
very good mutual friend of both of ours, Richard Walker
rest in peace, UH, such a great man who got
me introduced in this industry. I was hired to be
the main talent of his radio show when the Super

(22:04):
Bowl was in Phoenix. Who was the chief and Eagles
tremendous game, But I got hired that first week, interviewed Mahomes, Hurts, Kelsey,
all of those guys. It was an unbelievable experience. But
Richard loved my work asse he ended up hiring me
to run his radio show and transition it to Kden
Coogler Sports Radio. Our connection continued. I worked more Super Bowls,

(22:27):
continued to do my radio show, got plugged in with
the Phoenix Suns. I've interviewed Durant Booker, so many different guys,
and I've just continued to kind of increase that hunger
and dive more head first. I guess into this industry,
and it's been such a blessing. It's been so fun.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Yeah, and Richards was a great guy. I mean, I
love Richard Walker. He always he always had a positive
outlook on life. It was so sad. A little less
than a year ago he passed away unexpectedly. He just
gotten married, you know, and he was just always a
really really just a positive person. And just I miss him.

(23:08):
I know you miss him. And we we had dinner
about a month ago and we were talking about him,
and and he's just he's just it was a very
special soul and he has missed. But he is looking
down upon you and I but definitely looking upon you,
down upon you.

Speaker 9 (23:28):
Yeah, I appreciate that. Yeah, No, you're good. Yeah, no,
I appreciate that. Yeah. He was a great man. He
gave me my shot in this industry. And now I
feel like I'm I'm I feel like I'm You're good.
I'm feel like I'm carrying the torch for him right now.
So I'm very excited for for what's to come. But yeah,
this is this season is definitely an honor of Richard
and I can't wait to make him even more proud.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Yeah, he was a It was a really cool cat.
I've worked with him for about seven eight years. He's
a big part of the casey a a family and
I miss him. I mean, I just, I just it's
just such a drag when good people are taken from
this planet, when there's so much evil out here, and

(24:07):
it's just it's crazy. But Richard is He's always with us,
and he was a huge football fan. You love the NFL,
and he is Listen, man, he is with you. So
you have an angel already at your young age of
twenty one. So it should be blessed. You should be
blessed to feel that. So let's get into let's get

(24:28):
into the NFL. What do you think? What do you
think the upcoming season is going to bring?

Speaker 9 (24:35):
Well, Gary, I know you're a big time Chargers fan,
but I've got to go over to the other team
in LA and I've got to go with the Los
Angeles Rams. I've been so impressed with the offseason that
this team had, losing Cooper Cup but rebounding and getting
Devonte Adams. They were so close to beating the Philadelphia
Eagles last year on that final drive, Jalen Carter's unblocked
up the middle, it forces Stafford off that throw. No

(24:58):
team was as close to beating the eventual champions as
the Los Angeles Rams. Where I think this team, if
they can stay healthy, Matthew Stafford is more than capable
of being a top ten quarterback in the NFL. Poka
Nakua and Devonte Adams are going to be a lethal
one to two punch on the outside, and this defense
has improved tremendously with Jared birth bradon fifth this team
that they can stop the rungary, they are capable of

(25:20):
winning the Super Bowl. I have them winning the NFC
knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles. I'm excited about this Rams team,
and I know that everybody in LA has got to
be pumped up about their Rams.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Wow, that's a pretty bold statement. I like the Rams too.
They were yeah, they almost knocked off the Eagles and
their No Name defense they remind me of the Miami
Dolphins back in the early seventies. Their defense was nicknamed
the No Name defense, and it's sort of like the Rams.
I mean, they built a great defense through the draft

(25:51):
and these guys are They're hungry, man, they are hungry.
If Matthew Stafford. The key is if Matthew Stafford can
stay healthy. His back's been bothering them a little bit
during the you know, the early workouts, so hopefully he can.
And by the way, when Matthew Stafford's on, he's in
the top three quarterbacks. I mean he can sing it

(26:12):
with Mahomes, he can sing it with Joe Burrow. I mean,
this guy's this guy's amazing. I love the way he throws.
So if he can stay healthy and the Rams can
stay healthy. And Sean McVay is a hell of a coach,
I gotta say he is a hell come of the best. Yeah,
he is a Yep, he's good.

Speaker 9 (26:30):
Yeah, one of the best for sure. And I think
on the other side, I think you have the Kansas
City Chiefs that are going to shock a lot of
people in the AFC. That's a team that I've kind
of piggybacked on. I know I've got to do it.
I know, I know I'm breaking your heart right now.
I'm breaking your heart.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
But I'm sick of the cheer.

Speaker 9 (26:46):
The number fifteen. He just he's a menace. He's like
Tom Brady and I just get this eerie feeling with
him and Travis Kelsey almost as Michael Jordan last Dance
asque vibe that this team has they they now are
way better at this wide receiving position. Rashie Rice, who
was injured for most of last year. He's finally back.

(27:07):
He might have that suspension early on in the season,
he'll be back and ready to go, one of the
top receivers in the league. You have Hollywood Brown, who
didn't play at all in the regular season. He'll be
fully acclimated to this offense now. And you have Xavier
Worthy who was a rookie last year, the speedster who
has the fastest forty yard dashing NFL history. He had
the best game of his life in the Super Bowl
as a rookie. He's now coming into year two. This

(27:28):
receiving corps is a lot better. One of the best
defenses in the NFL. And Gary, when you have number
fifteen and Patrick Mahomes that is the big bad Wolf,
it's tough to knock him out. No quarterback in the
AFC has been able to do it except for Joe Burrow.
And I just don't know if that Bengals defense is
good enough. Give me the Kansas City Chiefs to make
it back to the Super Bowl and knock off the
Los Angeles Rams.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Ah the Rams versus the Chiefs, which would be a
great Super Bowl with the Chiefs went in another Super Bowl.
And by the way, they upgraded their offensive line and
that's huge for Mahomesho said, Hey man, I'm sick of
running around. Get me some guys that can block. That's
a huge thing. So listen, the Chiefs are going to
definitely be there. The Rams can be there. I like

(28:11):
the Eagles, uh. In the NFC, I think a surprise
team in the NFC, there's two teams that I really like.
I like the Green Bay Packers and for a long shot,
the Dallas Cowboys. This might be the Dallas Cowboys year.
I'm telling you, man, there's some I don't know. If

(28:33):
they can get Michaeh Parsons a contract, Jerry Jones, just
you got a zillion dollars give Michael Parsons.

Speaker 9 (28:43):
No, he's got in your pocket. He's in your pocket.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
I hate the effing Cowboys. I mean, I hate him.
I mean they used to knock off the Rams. When
I was growing up in LA, it was the Rams
of the Cowboys, and the Cowboys always knocked the Rams off.
So I cannot stand. I cannot stand America's team. But
I just have a sneaky feeling and listen, I'm a
gambler and I just think that's a great pick. They're

(29:07):
like thirty to one to win the NFC and then
they're like fifty to one to win the Super Bowl.
So I'm just saying as a sleeper pick, I'm saying
a sleeper pick. I'm not saying they're gonna do it.
I like the Eagles, I gotta say. I mean, the
Eagles are just amazing. I just I like their grit.
I like how the running game goes. They're hard nosed

(29:29):
or hard ass, and they beat the hell out of
the Kansas City Chiefs.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
Man.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
I mean, nobody's destroyed the Chiefs like the Eagles did.
So I'm gonna go back with the Eagles, and then
I'm gonna take I'm taking the Buffalo Bills. It's time
for the Buffalo Bills to come through. Josh Allen. He
had a great year last year. They're gonna be a
lot better this year. I believe their defense is gonna

(29:56):
be stalwart, and I just have a feeling it's going
to be the Buffalo Bills versus the Philadelphia Eagles. With
the Buffalo Bills, the Buffalo Bills, I'd love to see
it finally winning the Super Bowl, finally win the Super Butt.
But but I've got to go with my Chargers too.
The Chargers are going to be there too. There's so

(30:17):
many great teams in the AFC. You got the Chargers,
you got the Denver Broncos are going to be a
good team, the Bengals, you got the Dolphins, New England
Patriots could do something this year with all the acquisitions
they got and Mike Vrabel being the new coach. So

(30:38):
there's a ton of great teams. What do you think
about Aaron Rodgers playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Do you
think they have any chance of getting there? Is there
any possibility?

Speaker 9 (30:49):
Yeah, I was gonna say, we didn't even talk about
the AFC North. I mean, you still got the Ravens,
You've still got the Steelers, and you got the Bengals
of course with Joe Burrow. But sticking with the Steelers here,
I do think that the miditions that this team made
will make them competitive. I think they're capable of winning
a game. I think Aaron Rodgers what gets forgot about
in this whole equation with kind of a dumpster fighter

(31:09):
that was the New York Jets of the last ten years,
Aaron Rodgers played good football and the back half the
last year. And I know Robert salag got fired. You
have so many things, so much turmoil going on in
this Jets organization. Aaron Rodgers played a lot better in
the second half of the year. He played winning football
in my opinion. You're now bringing that to the Pittsburgh Steelers,
who really haven't had a great quarterback since Big Ben retired.

(31:31):
They have DK Metcalf who they acquired from the Seattle Seahawks.
They bring over Jalen Ramsey and John new Smith. They
also bring in Darius Slay. They re signed TJ. Watt.
This Steelers team has gone all in this offseason to
try and finally break this streak and win a playoff game. Gary,
I don't know if you know this, but Mike Tomlin
is currently the longest active head coach without a playoff

(31:52):
win right now, and the reason why that is is
because all of their coaches get fired. It's time for
the Pittsburgh Steelers to win a playoff game, and I
think this is the year they're going to get it done.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Wow. Yeah, I like them too. I think Aaron Rodgers
is going to have a hell of a season. I
believe it's going to be his last season unless something
crazy happens. But I like the Steelers. I do like
the Steelers. There's, like I said, there's so many great
teams in the AFC. I mean there's you know, like
I said, there's like maybe eight to ten teams that
could actually make it to the super Bowl. And a

(32:24):
lot of it has to do with injuries too, depending
on who gets injured. And you know, if you get
a Mahomes injured, you know, for Kansas City, it's game over,
just like when Brady got hurt a few years back.
And you know, the Patriots didn't men make the playoffs
that year. So it's going to be a very I mean,
I cannot wait. I cannot wait for the NFL. It's
a month away. It's very cool, and you're going to

(32:47):
be talking about all fall and winter.

Speaker 9 (32:52):
Yep, all fall in winter. We got NFL college football,
maybe a little NBA sprinkled in there, but we're going
hard in the paint with football. I think that my
final comment here actually is about the Dallas Cowboys. I
know you said you maybe dabble with the gambling a
little bit, I mean, if you're going to use that money,
go to Brazil for the game with the Chargers, or
just light it on fire. Do not put money on

(33:12):
the Dallas Cowboys. Ladies and gentlemen, if you're listening at home,
please don't do it.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Please don't ever, dude, whatever whatever I'll do.

Speaker 9 (33:21):
It, don't do it.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
All right, Before you go college football? Who do you
like to win the national championship this year? What do
you think?

Speaker 9 (33:28):
Yeah? Great question. I love the Penn Stint Nitney Lyons.
This has been a team that I am all in
on this offseason. I think it starts with the quarterback
position and Drew Aller, a guy that could have gone
to the NFL Draft last year and would have been
a top three pick. It was rumored that Cleveland was
going to take him at number two. But I think
that Drew Aller, you have this one two punch of
k Tron Allen and Nick Singleton at the running back

(33:49):
position coming back. This offense and this team overall has
a ton of returning starters coming back. If there's one
thing we know about James Franklin and this defense that
is always going to be tuned up, I think Penn
State in a weaker Big Ten with some question marks
around Oregon, question marks around Ohio State. I'm either gonna
win the Big Ten. I think they get hot and
they win the College Football National Championship. I love Penn State.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Okay, I'm gonna take Texas with Arch Manning. I think
it's Texas's a turn. They came close last year they
lost in the to Ohio State in the National Championship game.
I think with Arch Manning quarterbacking, they've got a great team.
They're all set up and you know, the Manning, the
Manning clan does not lose that often. So I'm gonna

(34:34):
go with Arch Manning, the Texas Longhorns, my USC Trojans,
and the UCLA Bruins, and then your Arizona State. What
about your Arizona State sun Devils? Where they at? They're
by the way they played in the Big twelve or
what's they're so screwed up? I'm so upset. I gotta
say one thing. It really upset me that they took
away the Pac twelve. I mean, I love those rivalries

(34:56):
and now it's like, you guys are in what the
Big twelve? Is that correct?

Speaker 9 (35:00):
Yeah, they're in the Big twelve, so kind of interesting here.
I'm actually a bigger Nebraska fan because I grew up
in Nebraska, so you know, I cheer for ASU a
little bit, but I'm a die hard Nebraska fan was
originally born there. Let's talk about the Nebraska Cornhuskers with
Matt Rule and Dylan Ryola. I believe that this team
is a sleeper to make the college football playoff. Gary,

(35:22):
Let's go big Red, Let's go Baby.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
I actually worked for a cat that was from Nebraska, Okay,
and he told me that the only thing they live
and breathe is Nebraska football. The corn Huskers is.

Speaker 9 (35:37):
Actually breathe it, live and breathe it.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
That's it.

Speaker 9 (35:39):
Yes, my mom used to My mom used to be
a news anchor in Nebraska, and she said that when
Nebraska would lose, the cases of domestic violence would go up.
People live and breathe Nebraska football.

Speaker 1 (35:50):
Yeah, don't be your spouse, guys, come on, I know.

Speaker 12 (35:55):
Don't do it.

Speaker 9 (35:57):
Don't kick your dog either.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Yeah, don't kick your dog. Don't kick your ear. And
by the way, the wives, don't beat up on your
husband because Nebraska loses.

Speaker 9 (36:07):
Okay, exactly, all right, it's not gonna happen much this year,
so you're in the clear.

Speaker 1 (36:12):
All right, Well cool, I will I've been a Nebraska fan,
you know, with Johnny Rogers and Tom tom Osmoorne and
all those cats. So I remember Turner Gill, you know
all those cats. So it's it's I've been a Nebraska
fan for many years too. And uh, I hear it. Yeah,
it was pretty wild when you just said, yeah, we
live and eat and breathe in Nebraska. That's all Nebraskians
do is live and eat and breathe Nebraska football. So

(36:36):
there you go.

Speaker 9 (36:37):
Nothing else to do that. There's nothing else said football.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
That's it man. All right, Hey listen, Kaiden, thank you
for calling in. Appreciate it and thank you for being
a part of the casey A A Family cad and

thank you for your time, and good luck to your Chargers.

Speaker 1 (37:24):
All right, cool man, thank you having the Charges. I'm
a Raider fan. What are you talking about? Hey, by
the way, before, what about the Raiders? What do you think?
I'm a Raider fan. I'm I'm not a Charger. I'm
a Raider. I'm a Raider.

Speaker 9 (37:35):
All right, Well, I was going to say, we listed
all those teams in the AFC. I mean he Carroll's
back asking Genty, this is going to be a fun
team Gary. Maybe they shock some people, maybe they get
hot late and your Raiders, you might have to be
making some trips up to Vegas, not only just for
the gambling.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
Well, listen, the bottom line is I get to get
The only reason I bought the Charger season tickets was
to see the Raiders. Okay, when I was living in LA.
That's the only reason I bought the ticket so I
could watch the Raiders playing in La. I'm a Raider,
die hard. I plead silver and black. They got Geno Smith.
I loved the best move they ever made or have
made in like twenty plus years. Is hiring Pete Carroll.

(38:11):
I love Pete Carroll. So we'll see how my raiders. Listen,
the only reason I'm not talking about the Raiders being
in the playoffs is because they're probably not gonna make it, Cayden, Now.

Speaker 9 (38:21):
Probably probably not. I hate, I hate to break it
to you, but they'll be better.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
They'll be better. Yeah, they're gonna be there. I mean,
you never know. Like I said, lightning strikes every now
and then, so we'll see what happens. Caiden. Thank you
so much. Look forward to seeing hearing your show tomorrow morning.

we have many options to address this condition. Most importantly,

as we adjust our lifestyle and our food choices, the
benefits to our wellness are rapid. By learning new habits,
we can prevent diabetes, reduce heart disease risk, and enhance
our overall well being. By getting control of the food
choices we make, along with learning ways to avoid foods
that damage our bodies, we can tackle obesity. For more information,

You got that look?

Speaker 9 (42:29):
Are you?

Speaker 1 (42:30):
They don't have that look you do? You got to
look like watch me do something. I would have been
second grade. If you're forcing the gay sucks, who would
you choose? I don't get forced into anything, Thanks aut Jack.
If you're on a desert island and you had a
choice of making love to Pamela Lee or Jannerino, who
would you choose? That's a question.

You have you ever smoked marijuana?

Speaker 9 (43:40):
John?

Speaker 1 (43:41):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, Hey, hey yeah today. What time is
it now? Would you commit a homosexual act for a
million bucks? American? Yeah, American. I'll think about that. Yeah, yeah,
do you have a million bucks?

Speaker 9 (44:00):
This is the Gary Garb Show.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
If you're not listening to Gary, fuck you.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Thank you that James Fat James miss him too. I
got so many friends in heaven. It's crazy. We're just
talking about Richard Walker. Great guy, mentored Caden while he
was still on the planet. And then suddenly last I
believe it was October. He just there's November, you know,

(44:30):
he just you know, passed away, you know, from a
cardiac arrest. It was just so sad. I had so
many friends and he's a good dude, so many good cats.
It's just insane. It's just insane. I don't understand it.
I don't know. I don't understand it. I mean, there's
so many weird things happening on our planet, you know,
with the the Gaza strip, you know, and those poor

(44:51):
children and women starving to death, and you know, and
like people care, But if you really cared, we'd be
doing something about it, you know, Like I said yesterday,
we should like you know, the US government should hire
like military troops or so i I you know, like
military organization, security organizations to get the food over. Maybe

(45:14):
not military, but security organizations to help get the food.
Tell Israel and Gaza, hey man, this is what we're
gonna do. Because America is the most powerful country in
the world. What Donald Trump says goes let's just you know,
look at the terrorifts and all this other crapple that's
going on in our society. If Donald Trump said, hey man,

(45:37):
you know what, cease fire right now. We want to
feed the children and women and men in the Gaza strip,
We're going to hire a security detail. We're hiring thousands
of security detail to escort the food over so Hamas
cannot steal it like Israel saying, or Israel saying there's

(46:00):
no starvation, which is complete crap bowl uh. And we're
gonna do this. And if we have to deal with
any of your crap, we're gonna take action, whether it's
sanctioning Israel or wiping out Hamas militia. Bottom line, we're
gonna start feeding these people. We really want to do it.
We could do it, but they're not gonna do it.

(46:26):
They're not gonna do it. There's got to be some
answer to this solution. It's just so weird, like how
can we do this to the human race? How can
we do this to one another? It just it's just
it's a mind boggler for me because life is so
precious and so short.

Speaker 2 (46:40):
Here.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
You know, Richard had just gotten married, he had his
whole life ahead of him, I mean, you know, and
really nice guy, mentoring Caden and mentoring other people and
working with the NFL, and just bam gone. And it's
happened so many times in my life, you know. Cayden,
it was his first experience with having somebody close to

(47:03):
him pass away. We went out and had dinner about
a month ago in La and we were talking about it.
He's like, man, this is the first time I've ever
had to deal with something like this. And I go, dude,
you know, I hate to tell you, but this is
what life's all about. This is a big part of
your life. It's going to be a big part of
your life. Losing loved ones and friends and family and stuff.
And it's terrible. It's how you recover from it. And

(47:26):
sometimes you don't recover from it. Sometimes you don't. I mean,
I'm still recovering from losing Scottie, tell you the truth.
I mean I think about it every day. I think
about him every day. I know he's with Mom and
I and I know the magic's there with him for sure,
the spiritual power and magic that he has up in
the heavens, you know. I mean another instance, I mean

(47:47):
July seventh, on his birthday. Mom could not walk for
three weeks, and then all of a sudden, on his birthday,
she's walking up and down the stairs out of the blue,
and I'm like, what the hell's going on? I mean,
it was just I said, you know, I'm like, Mom,
what are you doing walking down the stairs, Like, Oh,
I feel good, I'm fine. I'm like, yeah, on Scotty's birthday.

(48:08):
So don't tell me he doesn't have any power or
magic or there's any power of magic in the next realm, please.
So you know, it's just it's just weird how we, uh,
how we take our lives for granted in these days
on the planet for granted, and we just don't care,
Like I mean, if you really cared, if we really cared,

(48:30):
we'd do something about it. I know, you're like, oh
my god, we gotta do something about this. It's so disturbing.
It's more disturbing than caring. You don't want to see it.
It's hard to watch. So anyways, I don't get it.
I don't get all right, listen, I don't want to
dwell on this man on a Friday and know I
carry your bumming us out. It's fraudy. It's it's the weekend, dude.
What are you talking about? Life and death?

Speaker 4 (48:52):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (48:53):
You know what? Knock good up kid? All right, I'm sorry.
I just gotta say. I just gotta spew it out
there every now and then. But anyways, you guys have
a great weekend. It's gonna be hot as hell everywhere.
You know, we're bitching about the heat here in the desert,
and you know in La not really La. ALA's been

(49:14):
really nice, but the Southeast has been getting bombed.

Speaker 9 (49:17):
Man.

Speaker 1 (49:17):
I mean, I was talking to my friend bo Ryle's
we're doing a show tomorrow called bet the Fix. We're
on ten am to eleven am Pacific where we talk
about sports too, like Cayden does. And I was talking
to him and he lives in Orlando. He says, man,
it's been like one hundred and fifteen index, you know,
heat index. That's what they go through, a heat index

(49:38):
because they have you know, humidity out there in the east.
If you've never been in the East or southeast. Man,
the humidity is the killer. You can take a shower,
a cold shower, and then you go outside and you're
dripping wet with sweat because it's so humid out there.
He's like, hey, man, it's just so human. I can't
even go outside, like you know, I got to stay

(49:58):
in said. I'm like, man, well, you know you're speaking
to the choir, Dude, you're speaking to the fing choir.
So anyways, Bo and I will be on tomorrow morning
TENNY in Pacific to talk about sports and the NFL
and a Major League Baseball, the gambling situation, the trade
situation in Major League Baseball, and other sports tidbits. So

(50:22):
you guys, have a great rest of your weekend or
have Actually it's Friday, so you know, I guess we
can count Friday as part of your weekend. Have a
great weekend, you guys, and God willing, I'll be back
on Monday with some more chaos for you, because there's
plenty of chaos that go around right here on the
Control Chaos Radio Show.

Speaker 5 (50:49):
Times the Change and Times, the Strange, Come By, Mama,
I'm coming home. Time come by seems to be you
could have been a better friend to me.

Speaker 10 (51:12):
My mom, I'm coming home.

Speaker 5 (51:17):
You took me and and she drove me outay had
me at the time.

Speaker 4 (51:24):

Speaker 5 (51:28):
When your eyes you made me cry.

Speaker 4 (51:32):
You told me nice, but I can't stand.

Speaker 15 (51:36):

Speaker 10 (51:37):
