Over the span of 25 years, David A. Northern, Sr., has established a distinguished career in federal housing assistance programs including urban planning and policy development. Listen and learn. David was born and raised in Gary, IN. He is currently the Senior-Vice President of the Public Housing Authority Directors Association (DC) which represents roughly 2,000 HA’s throughout the nation. In 2020, he was appointed by the Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker to the State Housing Task Force and elected to the Illinois Housing Council’s Board of Directors. David's credentials are as follows: •Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ball State University. •Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University. •Certificate from the University of Maryland for the Executive Education Program in Housing and Community Development. •Graduate Certificate in Public Management. •Certificate from the Institute for Innovative Leadership Development. •Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Achieving Excellence in Community Development 18-month program. •Certified by National Development Council as Rental Housing Development Finance Professional Over the span of 25 years, David A.
