Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four three two one.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome, maybe one. Welcome to the another edition of the
Corey Wedlock Show. Thank you, thank you, And we have
some stuff to talk about Donald Trump. And well we
(00:44):
get going right afagis messages and welcome maybe one. Welcome
to another edition of the Corey wet Lock podcast Show.
We gotta a lot to talk about, and it's like
(01:04):
Donald Trump. So we'll get going in a minute. We'll
be right back. And now we're back and we can
(01:33):
talk about I don't know what's going on with Donald
Trump and everything. And I heard of something. It was
some shooting over the weekend, and it's a lot of
crazy stuff that's going on. But I've been working on
(02:00):
and getting my podcasts up to date and stuff like that,
and also getting ready for this our five Stories. So
m paying y'all for what's to come and the quality
with our podcast show. And it's just a lot of
(02:25):
stuff going on. But all I know is all I
can do is tell y'all to pray, you know, I mean,
we ask for this person, we didn't ask for this president,
(02:46):
and we really don't get to bother and it's just
too much things that we found and what's going on
about him and why he's the president and all that.
So I would say a lot of things, you know,
(03:14):
but we get what we ask for, and that's what
we got. We got a dictator and his piece of
trash race president, piece of trash circ Secretary of Defense,
and piece of trash speak of the House, and they
(03:36):
just let him do what he wanted to do. And
that's all that's all gonna come back on on on
all that manness. And I don't know that he ever
sent troops to Chicago, and I don't know what's going
on with that either. That that's that's definitely being a
(04:02):
dictator and making the making the United States a s
a dr world country. That's something that the China China
president would do, and North Korea president would do, and
of course the decade Putin would do, you know, but
(04:30):
the president like this And I never seen the people.
I never seen this. This is this is the worst
of the worst. But when they say we had that
last days and we finally hopefully we'll we'll accept that.
(04:50):
And you and the reason I've been away because of
my birthday and sh Ashley birthday and Downalds birth day
and didn't really had no contact, contact or topic to
talk about, but I de cited to just get on
there and talk. But yeah, thank you for all the
(05:19):
states and all the countries for listening from everywhere, up
whatever you're listening to, wherever you're listening at, oh whatever
you're listening with, thank you for coming, Thank you for listening,
keep on listening. I'm also on part part being thank
(05:42):
you for to listen to this, on part being thank
you and in order to listen to this on all
other for Macassinekay. But but we we here, we will.
(06:03):
We definitely at at the days that we we thought
we won't be at. And it's just to me, I
I'm just specials. I don't know what to say about it.
You know, it's just like a Star Trek movie. It's
(06:24):
never gonna be made at Paramount. They keep talking about it.
And that's what Donald Trump is. He he just like
a Star Trek movie. And we we just gotta be careful,
(06:44):
you know. Now I wanna talk about Water Brothers. I
heard that Water Brothers is releasing gave a green light
to to do night Rider in Air Haart. Y'all remember
(07:06):
night Rider in Air Haart. Yeah, they gave a green
light to do Night Rider. I looked this stuff up
on YouTube and all and how I would say, they
they going to back to a lot of stuff now.
(07:26):
I don't know they gonna make the six minute Dollar
Man and the ball on a ball on the woman.
But y'all remember those TV shows the ball and the
ball on a woman in the sixth minute Dollar Man,
Night Hawk, and of course night Rider. Well as I know,
(07:50):
Like I said, I don't know about the six minute
Dollar Man or Ball on the Woman, but the green
light has been liten for through a I don't know
it's gonna be on the next flicks on Amazon, or
it gonna be in the movie Dinner.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Now.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
I don't know about this. Y'all can look it up,
but it is gonna be a night Ride a movie. Now.
I don't know David Hasselhalk gonna stall in it or
do a GAMEO. But that's I tell y'all to look
at y'all night Ride of fans, Yeah Hawk fans. Y'all
(08:28):
can look that up and see what's going on with that.
Keep it updated. If y'all YouTube YouTube youtubists, just put
it on your YouTube page, do a video about it.
And everything. I'm just getting the word out there that
it is gonna be a night ride a movie and
(08:50):
they got the green like to do it, so yeah,
and I might even go see it or watch it,
you know what else out fall Out the season two,
(09:13):
I'm waiting for that. That's supposta be coming on episode
and Dank hopefully very soon, you know, cause.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
And what day.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
It's nothing like that you old days when they did
this school and make movies and it'll be out, you know,
you know, and you know the time and coming soon
and everything and all that good stuff. Now you gotta
wait for a whole whole year for at least one season,
(09:51):
and you only get ten, ten twelve episodes and you
been waiting for over seasons for it. TV shows ain't
like they used to be. I mean, you got way
for a whole season just to get ten episodes. Come on,
now that that's not right. I remember episodes used to
(10:11):
be twenty six, twenty seven. To see twenty six episodes
that season fall winter and then the rest of winter
and spring and half of summer and then you get
the season finale.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
So um.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
I I I don't know where happened during it was
good days y y'all figure it out. But that's that's
where we act to ten episodes, and boy, we came
(11:02):
a long way for a lot of things. Guys, Like
I said, I don't know what's gonna do that much
in the news, and I haven't been watching the news
and give myself a break in the news. So but
(11:25):
I do know so far trying to follow GTA six
is still want schedule to be released in May the
twenty sixth. I'm sure that's what everybody is looking for.
And tell me you all your gamers, that's gonna be
(11:48):
the game, the game of probably half of the cystory.
This m this, this right here, it's gonna be. I mean,
it's it's all already talk on it right now. I
got a lot of stuff on YouTube about it, you know.
But and I I I already ready can't wait to
(12:21):
see what's going on. What's going on with that game?
Speaker 3 (12:30):
Man.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
I've been playing trying that Photo five with the story
and in the online then I played the online version
with the disc online thing. Let's see, I got two
versions of five, then that Photo five. I got the story,
the story in online version, and I got the online version.
(12:54):
But you just do go straight on line and you
get the TTA plus. Now this is the thing and
the whole right, rock Star and Take two just listening.
Do not take away the sharp cards and keep the
(13:16):
flying cars and joy that follow. Okay, do not listening
to these idiots. Some people love the sharp cards and
we love the flying car. I got two flying cars,
and I got the under the Sea Car, I got
the supper Ring, I got the yacht, and I just
(13:44):
hope that and during that follow six we get to
buy more stuff like houses and property, and we get
to buy more businesses and all that. I hope that
we get to play as either police or Top or
whatever we wanna play, but hopefully that will be on
the line. On line six or six. We get to
(14:10):
choose whoever we wanna play, and we get to choose
customize our color players. But I'm sure rock Star and
T two got all that covered. And of course single player.
(14:31):
We need single player. So I just hope this just
be more level and turning up Bunbal five and it's
gonna be better than turn Buckle five. Now, the story
I don't know, but I'm still gonna play the story.
(14:54):
But I still love the story of five. Then that's
one of the The five is one of the best
so far until six come out. Now, the story of
six is pretty good, but I don't think it's gonna
be petter than the five. That's my opinion. It might be,
(15:19):
and a lot of people might like the story, but
I I definitely know it's gonna be petter than five.
Five is old and it's been running for a while,
and I think Rockstar ain't gonna keep let it in
running until everybody is over on six and on line
(15:40):
come out. But it might still be running even when
we get Turning Fu over six on line, both of
'em might be still running. I mean, people put a
lot put a lot in turning up all of five,
the money, the shop cars, they built, their empire, and
they so hopefully they'll find a way to keep it run,
(16:03):
keep it going for good. It would be one of
the longest running online games, right behind Start Trek Online.
And I just hope you keep it running, you know.
And that's just one of the things I wanna talk about.
(16:24):
And so another thing I just wanna talk about. You
got to keep faith the matter where you come from,
what you do, how you do what you gotta keep
faith and sometimes I forget. When I get up, thank
(16:44):
God for what I got and everything. If I forget
a lot, bepuse to thank God when you wake up,
pous it. Thank God in the mid midday and that
at night before you go to bed. But my people
like me and I forget sometime. But God, God understands
(17:05):
because he's loving God, and and whatever you're going to,
just keep, keep your head up, keep your chest out,
and like Tupox said, and every dark tunnel there's a light,
just handle it gay. So that's that's that's my advice
(17:32):
to the people who who was still going to a
lot of pull craft gang, whether the ex husband or
an ex wife or stupid as courts with antimony and
child's support and in order poor craft to come with it.
(17:54):
You know, just it's going to get better. Okay, it's
gonna get better. And I'm talking to men and women,
not only women who have babies just to get child's
supporting all that stuff, just to go on wealthy and
send a man downtown just to get money off over.
(18:20):
I'm talking to the men too. I'm not Suregar gone nothing.
Because for a woman's good for a man. The man
need advice. Just like you do, you know, and he
might be going to more and you you're a woman,
you can go get that stuff. So it's hard for
(18:44):
a man, you know, especially when he was told that
he can't come back to his house he had for
over ten years, and all cause his wife don't want
'em no more, or because the stupid thing he did.
Maybe he wanna become working to become still wanna be
(19:05):
working to become an actor or work in a movie
into industry. He still got that dream, and his wife
get mad at him cause he won't let that dream go.
She wanna work at tortebos, or work at a McDonald's
managing a bunch of children and all that, or work
at some Walmart and target making. You know. He's a
(19:32):
writer and he wanna write and he wanna do things
bigger and all, but he don't have her support. And
then he she brings in other people to be on
her side, his side, her side. So that's that's how
(19:52):
some people are, you know. I mean what I did,
I keep I kept working into I got to my dream,
my goals, and I said each goal. I kept on
working a regular job until I got the computers. I
got the printer and everything that I needed, you know,
(20:15):
and I just kept practicing writing, writing, writing, and I
knew it. I'm gonna break to it one day. A
lot of people encouraged me, like the Fellers that I
used to work at Walmart Wolf encouraged me. When I
was home missed. One guy told me that I want
(20:35):
to be a great writer. I was encouraged, but I
never heard it from Candy man Clark, the woman that
I married. I never heard it from her. Then I
was gonna be a great writer never came out of
her mouth. And that's that's how I know that she's
my downfall. So I'm not saying that your wife or
(21:02):
husband not thinking about it and not supporting you because
he's not saying it, and that you're gonna be but
that white, that husband or that wife want to be
a writer or something more greater to know, support her.
(21:22):
Support him, okay, and all the kids, last kid is
going to college, go, you know, support him. He might
just make it. No matter how old you are. And
there's no age limit on your dream, no age limit. Okay,
(21:42):
dreams don't have no age limit. Yeah, you do get old,
but dreams don't have no age on me like me.
I'm fifty six now and I'm on this computer. I
got my podcast, I'm the Raised Talk my YouTube channel.
I've already start another podcast, science Fiction Stories, and then
(22:04):
I'm gonna start another one after that through crime Stories,
and then I'm doing my YouTube at the same time
my podcast, and then I'm gonna keep on traveling. And
I'm gonna get my license. I had my permitted many times,
and you know, I'm a D six. I'm not giving up.
(22:28):
I'm not giving up until they hand me my license,
you know. And that's that's just the way it is.
And so I know I'm gonna get it. I've been
behind the wheel I drove, so just have faith in
God and I will I achieve all my dreams and
(22:59):
also get a a real phone like an iPhone. Said
it just Android crap. But thank God for some the
stop for some of the stuff I do have right now,
like the old computers, laptops twenty thirteen, twenty twelve Max computer,
(23:21):
just two laptops, probably around twenty two thousand or nine
or two thousand and eight. They still work, but I
guess that's well maybe twenty fifteen twenty thirteen computers laptops.
No one of them fulls backwards. So those computers came
(23:45):
out from around twenty ten. They fold backwards and they
can come out like a.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Cabinet.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Y'all remember when they first came out. So I don't
know what the year they came out. But I finally
got one of those, and I used to take 'em
with me to work, but I keep 'em home now.
But look at all the stuff that I I've been through,
and I replaced all the clothes that I lost. I
(24:15):
got me a new desk, got me a table where
I've pulled up where I can take with me this time.
And I got a new desk where I put my
printer on, you know, But I didn't get one, no eld.
That's it's like I did when I was at Howard
Park that time. I got a foot on one way
(24:37):
I can take with me in case something to do happy.
Only thing I gotta get in happy doing is paying
my rent. And my rent is only three seventy five
renting board, and I ain't paid for September. And so
I promise my fans when when when I get paid again,
(25:00):
I'm coming on on on here, and I'm gonna tell
y'all that I paid my rent, So pray that I
keep my place here, that I love it here, and
I love my job, and I love my room maids
and staff and all. And its prey that I keep
my pray in here and jumps won't won't, won't do
(25:24):
anything cause I'm I'm happy here and I'm safe here now.
When I went at fifteenth Village Road, after I left
Howell Park, I went to fifteenth Village Road in Pittsville.
I lost that because I like Candy and Chesico come
live with me, and I validated my contract with that.
(25:48):
But I didn't want my grandson to be on the
streets because Candy any clock couldn't pay her rent, but
she didn't know how to and she's slow. My aksed
wives that I'm talking about, and and I didn't do
it for her or Jessica, and I did it for
my grandson and keep them from being on the street,
(26:13):
even though he made a lot of noise, and the
people called, and sometimes they they had to let them go,
and they had to stay outside overnight and they come
back in the morning. But all the guys, all the
(26:35):
guy is overworked now and moved on from that and
just hope another car cross the path with her again.
And I missed everything that was a Mayer and Michael's
I d and I really don't want to miss his wedding.
(26:55):
And but he moved to the empisonic Ampisona and this
wouldn't have to missus waiting, you know, cause I ain't
not had the money to go, you know. But I
forgive all the people who lied, throw 'em or told
'em lines about me, like Art and rich Crofts, and
(27:19):
all the people didn't help us, and all that I
will never forget, but I'll forgive. And I don't have
to appreciate the things they they agree with, cause I
don't agree with what they was thinking and what they
did or what they were saying, cause they were all lines,
(27:42):
all lies. And the two fellas who was supposed to
be working with me, it was just chaos. But I
threw it all so and I'm sure yea guys came
into a symbol sipulation, and and I did, except some
(28:04):
people had more habit worse than you do. And this
is my calling to talk to y'all, to tell y'all
will tease this this for me, you know. And I'm
on my way. I'm getting my driver license. I went
to Los Angeles, I went to Gary, Indiana, and I'm
(28:26):
going to Chicago, and I'm doing my mini trip to
New York til twice a month. Now. I'm planning that
these things I never did before, I'm doing now. Know
why because I thank God, grateful and thank God everything.
(28:48):
Just sometimes I just go in the closet and the
cleaning closet and just start thanking him for everything, you know,
and somehow, oh it works, leaving it works. Guys, Jesus
(29:09):
is real, Okay, he is real. He's more real than anything,
your cars, your keys, your little bit of money in
the bank or pocket, a little bit of sex that
you have. He's way better than all those things, Okay,
(29:33):
And it's time to wake up, Just this time to
wake up. This is no church, this no church podcast
or nothing. I'm just talking about what he did for
me and what he can do for you. It's all.
I'm not a preacher. I'm not a revend and not
(29:54):
never that much. I don't even know how to preach
like a preacher at all. But I do know my
testimony and what I've been through, cause I do know
my story and I do know who will help me
and my journey in my story. His name start with
a J. So I do know when I'm talking about
(30:17):
when I'm talking about me, and he can do the
same for you. Start a broadcast, start a YouTube channel,
s do something, do a uber, do a less nineteen hours,
Do do something to start off to stop feeling sorry
(30:39):
for yourself. It's not good. We'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
How excited are you for J six?
Speaker 1 (31:27):
I feel nothing excide really I'm not a gamer really yeah,
so that all you have.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
I've never played a video game in your windy game
leto so let feel all. After one.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
He said, why this is? This is a race?
Speaker 3 (31:51):
One days three Dostoyewski's private punishment, and he went to
completely blame the you know where is so there you go,
I don't read that. Are you excited about that book
coming out? No, we'll look into Annelly mentioned it. It's
the same things. What books? Your books are my thing?
(32:11):
This has been wonderful. Thanks. How excited are you for
GG six? I feel nothing inside really, I'm not a
gamer really yeah, so they're all absolutely I've never played
the video games you're played. G No, no, so I
feel absolutely not. He said yesterday at one point, you
should play g t A five. He said, why this
(32:33):
is because it's so great. I said, well, one day
you should read Dustoevsky's Crime and Punishment and he went
completely blank shut. The you know is so there you
go shut. I don't read that. Are you excited about
that book coming out?
Speaker 2 (32:48):
No?
Speaker 3 (32:50):
And we'll look into a Nelly mentioned it. It's the
same things. What books, Your books are my thing. This
has been wonderful.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
Thanks, welcome back to people. Welcome back. That's the two
(33:35):
fellars from g t A five And they was asked
and they ever played a video game? And that the
guy that played Trappers, and he said, he's not an
on gamer, but that's that's fascinating. He played in he
played in the video game, but he's not a gamer.
But he liked books, so maybe maybe you might read
(33:59):
my book. No, I ain't come across my book, but
that's that's very fascinating. They had. But the black guy
and the guy who played Trappers was the guy the
interviewer was talking about. He asked him the question. But
(34:23):
I just want to know how many of y'all start
playing video games? When GTA five came out. Some of
y'all probably were nether gamers and g G funk g
T A five g T A five came out and
changed your life.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
You know.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
How many the liveter to change all over the world.
Changed mind it? It really did. I mean to this game.
They this game. This is amazing. Right after I get
off of desk, I'm going wanna play it. But it
(35:06):
it's just it's a hook going game, you know. She's
a hook going game. And I'm a single man now too,
so I'm really not tryna find nobody, but I do
want somebody to travel with. I want a female to travel,
but I'm not trying to find nobody.
Speaker 3 (35:23):
You know.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
It's like, do I really want somebody or to do it?
Do I don't want somebody? I mean I might have
to get up my my games and stuff like that.
Well maybe she might be understandable, you know, And and
I also wanna be successful too, so be able to
take care of her and treat it like a wing
(35:47):
and everything. That way, when she wanna go travel by itself,
she will have the money. All she have to do
just go get it, cause be in the bank for her,
you know. I mean, if she wanna go out with
her friends hang out with. I don't cares you have
male or female friends, don't matter to me. You know,
(36:07):
I've been there, I've been married, you know. And best
things sometimes is to let your women be free, and
you know how to bring her back home, and she
will come home to you, you know, saying with your man,
but you you just gotta let 'em free, you know,
(36:29):
just a lot of lot 'em get some space to
each other. I mean, she go out with her friends
or I'm gonna do anything out play video games? Do
she come home? You know, there's nothing out there, not
in this age and in this the day's in age.
And me I like the young women like maybe thirty
(36:52):
five to forty five, you know, uh, forty seven, you
know that way. And the reason for that is I'm
the older guy, and who knows what might happen. And
my book do good, my part, gass do good. It'll
come as the morning my books will become a movie,
(37:12):
a TV show and stuff like that. That money will
be transfer them to her, you know, and she's still young.
It'll be transferred down to her. And anything happened to me,
and and thanks for me, she'll she'll be bothy you know,
and that's the way I see it, you know. That's
(37:35):
and give that young young queen a chance in life,
you know, and she will honor that. She will never
forget that, you know, and she will always think of
me for doing it. And I will live. I will
definitely leave her a nice will and I'm totally successful
(38:00):
house and make sure the bills was paid and made
sure everything taken care of. So if she can live
her life. You know, she might wanna get married again.
And I told her to support that, you know. And
that's that's the way I feel, you know, m But
(38:24):
hopefully some of young guys will felt like that too,
you know. I mean, I know they said it. It's
not that much a good woman or a good man
out there, but just gotta keep looking. You don't want
nobody from your past anything, right. God took those people
(38:48):
out for the reason. He took those people out your
life for a reason. And whatever who they wherever the
hell they was, children, wives and wise boy friends, he
took him. He saw something and in him, and he
took him, took him out your life. Right. He'll rearrange
(39:11):
your life. And the longer you keep breathing, he gonna
keep re erasing it. That's gonna be there's gonna be
people that gonna take advantage of you, you know, and
(39:32):
oh boy, Jesus, it's just it's just crazy stuff, man.
And another thing is next topic. It's a lot of
Michael jacks and stuff that's on on the YouTube and
the man been dead for for a while and they
(39:54):
just talk talk a lot about Michael. It's a lot
of contact of Michael online and there's more contact than
it is about Michael Jackson is the president? That would
that tell you? Like that's thinking? But I mean, what's
(40:22):
more to talk about? Waiting for the Bible movie to
come out? And but what's more to talk about if
they don't move that back again, we'll be waiting for
the Bible movie. Bible movie come out about him supposed
to be now they're saying it supposed to be two
(40:44):
parts Pulta have been been to release, must have been
released in October that right now next month, and they
moved it back. So how many of y'all gonna go
see the Michael Jackson Bible movie? I mean supposed to
have a lot of different stuff, stuff we never saw before.
(41:08):
When we we know over about Michael from day one
to time he left the Earth. And hopefully this movie
have more more in it. And how about last week
(41:35):
game Sunday when all those special teams blocked the field goals.
I mean, that was so funny, those the special teams.
I forgot that the teams that that blocked the field goals.
(41:58):
But we had a lot of special teams last Sunday.
Let me see, I have to find this. You got
(42:31):
some stuff on Lost in Space. But I think about
(42:51):
going and the young and the oldest kissing, and I mean,
I told you you do got a lot of stuff,
and that's what I think it is. See what's or annoying?
Speaker 1 (43:14):
I haven't gonna go ah, people customize and say hundred's
with liberty neutral.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
Maybe where's the golf cart? When you look at the show,
there are times when we're fighting our lips for laughing.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
I'm trying not to laugh.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
It was a perfect time for a show. I've Lost
in Space. She floated through space as Judy Robinson, but
what reason.
Speaker 2 (43:36):
Did the right behind the scenes was anything but weightless.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
For years, Margaret Christen stayed quiet about what unfolded on set,
about the choices, intentions and the moments. No script ever
captured when it was in black and whits really much
more science fiction than it was. I think people, really,
you're interested. I think there was a strong need to
make all while of Hunt. Now she's opening up what
(44:05):
made her nearly walk away before the journey even began.
What did she see that fans never did. One detail
long Buried brings a whole new layer to the story.
And it all started in a place far from Hollywood.
Ready to uncover what's been waiting in the wings. From
(44:26):
orphanage to outer space. Marta Christen's life began in the
shadow of World War II, under circumstances far removed from
the glamour of Hollywood. Born Burghete and Elisa Russenen in Oslo, Norway,
Kristin was the daughter of a Finnish mother and a
German soldier father, who was slain during the war. Because
(44:50):
of her parentage and the racial purity doctrines of the
Nazi regime, she was placed in an underground orphanage to
avoid being taken into Hitler's lubens Born programme, a state
sponsored initiative designed to breed racially pure children. These early years,
marked by war and uncertainty, would later serve as a
(45:11):
testament to her quiet resilience. In nineteen forty nine, at
just four years old, she was adopted by an American
couple from Detroit professor Harold Solderquist, an educator at Wayne University,
and his wife. Her new parents renamed her Marta Kristin,
(45:31):
and she began a new life in the United States.
The transition from war torn Europe to post war America
was dramatic, but it offered stability and opportunity. Kristin later
recalled her adoptive father's academic background and her family's support
as being instrumental in shaping her outlook. Despite being an immigrant,
(45:54):
she quickly adapted and excelled in her new environment, attending
Santa Monica High School at the family relocated to California
during her father's sabbatical. Kristin happened to fall into acting
almost by accident. As a teen, she was discovered in
a restaurant by James Harris, the producer of Lolita. Of course,
(46:16):
since the part was most controversial and she was still
a minor, that offer didn't go anywhere, with her parents
turning it down right away. However, she managed to leave
a significant impression on Harris, who ended up helping her
land an agent. Soon after, Kristen started landing roles in
(46:37):
some of the more prominent television series of the time.
Some early credits included an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents
Ironically opposite her future Lost in Space co star Billy Moomey,
and guest appearances on the Eleventh Hour and the Disney
film Savage Sam Before auditioning for Lost in Space, Mark
(47:00):
Ka Christen had an impressive resume that also told a
more interesting personal story than her screen credits. Born an
orphan in hiding, she was adopted into America and eventually
grew up to be a promising young actress in Hollywood.
It was most extraordinary in many ways. Judy Robinson seemed
(47:20):
to replicate the real life story of the young actress's adaptation, courage,
and going into unknown territory. The early revamps, early period
of displacement and reinvention fell under her feet for a
truly earthy view to be added to her character and
later thinking on fame and identity. Yet, even with momentum building,
(47:43):
one casting room would leave her stunned. A star almost
born long before she became known as Judy Robinson In
Lost in Space, Marta Christen came close to landing a
role in one of the most beloved musics of all time,
The Sound of Music. Released in nineteen sixty five, the
(48:06):
film starred Julie Andrews and featured Angela Cartwright, Kristen's future
Lost in Space castmate as Brigitta von Trapp. Kristin was
called in for a screen test and seemed a promising
fit for the von Trapp family. However, to her surprise,
she was ultimately turned down for the part, not for
(48:28):
a lack of ability, but because producers deemed her too
sexy for the wholesome family film. Kristin was just twenty
years old at the time, and the label was both
confusing and frustrating. In a twenty twenty one Fox News interview,
she candidly shared that she never viewed herself in that way.
(48:50):
I didn't think of myself as sexy. I was a
Norwegian Midwesterner, she said. For a young actress still trying
to establish her identity in Hollywood, being typecast based on
appearance rather than talent was a disorienting experience. It revealed
early on the double standards of the industry, especially for
(49:11):
women where being attractive could paradoxically close as many door.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Well that's the story of Margaret who played Judie Robinson
on Loss of Space and all and kind of interesting story. Well, people,
it's come to that time and and it's it's time
(49:39):
to go and like the dank everyone just remember two
story two story crime that is coming in December, probably
moving back to January, and stories of the science fiction
is coming into I Tolber, I know em I'm working
(50:02):
on that as we speak. The first episode of The
Serious so and it's called Black Seed. Think about Captain
Blackwell and his crew on a journey and the Black Sea,
(50:26):
what they call the Black Sea is called space. They
call it the Black Sea space and called it the
Black Sea. And this is a serious on the podcast.
And you're going to venture with the the the Captain
and the USS in infinity and they going on the journeys.
(50:57):
There's something like Star Trek install was, but kind of different.
And the strip is gonna be read by AI and
it's gonna be forty five to fifty minutes long, and
it's gonna be a good strip, okay, and I hope
everybody enjoy it. Probably won't be in no special accident
(51:23):
in all this storytelling, and so yeah, it will be
coming out probably in the late October, already November. The
first series and the stories of science fiction and just
gonna be other episodes and series and that kind of
(51:46):
going on that podcast. You're gonna get ten episodes, probably
ten or fifteen episodes Black Cea and then gonna be
the season for now. Then we coming back probably around
chaney Ury, and then we wanna give you ten more,
(52:07):
ten or fifteen more and then after that and then
gonna be and then another episode number Serio is gonna
be with that too, and you get the same thing
with that, and of course the regular podcast Gray What
Locked Podcast Show, and then you gonna get True Crimes. Now,
(52:31):
I don't know it's gonna be based on real crime
or it's gonna be a st take the story. I
haven't picked that out yet, but things are going with
the s likes something like law, law and Order. So
look for that, people vow for that, true crime stories
(52:53):
and stories of science fiction, and the regular show Quay
what Lock Podcast Show? Getting it all and then we
bring in some more podcasts to the to like. So
enjoy and have a great day. Have a great week.
(53:13):
If I don't do any more podcasts by the week,
I'll get 'em up sometime before Octo. It's over. And
don't worry. I'm not sick or nothing. This guy over
cold at all, but not sick. And I sound like
I found different from the last podcast. No different, healthy
