it would be fun to tackle someclassic tales of encounters with alien beans.
From a fistfight with a short squatchto creepy alien clowns, We've got some
titillating tales from past to present,So charge of glasses for an all new
Cosmic Cantina. I'm your host,Melissa Tittle, and every week I go

ancient cultures, and anything from theunseen world that needs a little illumination.

(01:29):
Welcome to Cosmic Cantina. I'm yourhost, Melissa Tittle, and tonight I'm
drinking a Mediterranean beer called fs It'sa pilsner. And I was at the
mediterran I walked down to the MedianMediterranean Delhi and I love that. And
they have my beer. My favoritebeer from Greece is Mythos, but they
didn't have Mythos. They had Effies. And it's good. It's great,

(01:53):
overpriced and delicious. Nice, it'snot. It's good. I love you
know, I love America, butI love of cheap European beer. I'm
in all right, yeah, nice. Well I'm back to a classic party
people. I got myself a ghostfishgrapefruit ipa. It's perfect for summer and
I'm in love. I just can'tgive that bitch up up. And can

(02:15):
I say, Josh, it iswonderful to have you back against we had
to go with at you last weeklost time. Yes, sorry, uh,
it's good to be back to tryputt. It's back, baby.
Yes, I was gone temporarily butnever forever excited to be back. Guys.
So much is going on, Holyky, I could rant for like
two hours straight, but I won'tdo that right now. I know we're

(02:37):
gonna be focused and we're gonna getthe people what they want information quick with
some friendly banter. Let's do this. Well, what are you drinking?
Friends? Sorry, I just tryingto skip like three steps here making about
myself. No, that's all right, way begin I'm just having a quiet
little uh pacifico little. The lawnthis afternoon got hot and grassy and wet,

(03:00):
and then cold Mexican beer was callingmy name afterwards. Yes, wow,
that's ladies. Check out the Australian. It's hot, sweaty and full
of grass, grass, grass andgreen toes. Because I was my one
flip flops as well, So that'salways that's dangerous, part of the dangerous
whatever. All right, So there'sa lot of stuff going on in the

(03:24):
UFO world. Uh, you allhave been following it, I'm sure.
And um, it's good to haveJosh back because Matt and I were really
trying to be inappropriate with each other, but that it just felt weird,
like we're like a first date orsomething and there's like no one to break
it up, where like, yeah, I just talked about a penis.
It was weird, you know, and then it got weird. So it's
good to have you back, Josh, because yeah, we don't know when

(03:46):
to look. Yeah, we werelike the comedy that's just funny, super
awkward. I thought it was okay, guys, it sounded great. You
guys did great. Don't worry aboutit, all right, all right,
good, So we're back in ye. So I just want to take every
bad, everybody, everybody back totwenty twenty two. I know we're in
twenty twenty three and ship's hitting thefan. There's tons of stuff going on

(04:09):
every day. There's a reptilion ona plane, there's a new bill in
Congress. Like stuff's happening, people. But let's go back to twenty twenty
two. Let's do it. Let'sgo back when people that believed in UFOs
were considered sort of crazy. Thisis just back in twenty twenty two.
This is an article from Forbes titlethe Americans who Believe in UFOs, Bigfoot,

(04:31):
zombies, ghosts. Telekinesis the lastcity of atlantis and other supernatural,
paranormal, mythological and generally unusual phenomenon. Man, they lumped a whole bunch
of fucking nonsense together there with somelegit things, which is yeah, which
is classic. By wait that that'sthe title of the article. First off,
I don't think i've ever that's justcrazy in itself, but that's the

(04:53):
title of the article in Forbes magazine. And that's a lot of stuff.
And they're like, here's the peoplewho believe in all of this, which
I don't believe that because not everybodybelieves in everything. So the article goes
on to talk about the the ChapmanUniversity study survey and all the people involved,
and they studied over a thousand Americansas a test subject, with all

(05:14):
different backgrounds and races, men andwomen, all that kind of stuff.
Um, So this I just foundit was really interesting. So remember now
we're coming from twenty twenty three, but this is twenty twenty two, and
they're like, why do people believeit's such craziness? Um. Communicating in
an email, doctor Silva noted thathe and doctor Woody had found that over
seventy doctor Woody breaking it in hardevidences at his neck. Okay, I'll

(05:45):
stop back, Josh, yes, okay. Doctor Woody had found that over
seventy percent but believe in some paranormalphenomenon, and this is despite the fact
that such beliefs are stigmatic, ashad other scientists before them, Doctor sylvan

(06:09):
would Be reported that not everyone whobelieves in one unusual phenomenon. So,
for instance, they've reported that somepeople might feel certain that Bigfoot haunts the
forests of Humboldt County in California, but also think the idea of UFO spaceships
is preposterous. I mean, isthey have university money funding this? This
is ridiculous. In general, thetwo sociologists found that on the Chapman University

(06:32):
survey, more women than men hadreported believing in ghosts and wonders like hauntings
that involve spiritual forces. Men morefrequently reported believing in marvels like Bigfoot and
other phenomenon that are unexplained but concrete. White people, who are more likely
than black people to profess a beliefin psychic healing in UFOs, while educated

(06:55):
people with at least a bachelor's degreewere less likely to believe in hauntings,
alien visitation, Bigfoot or atlantis.Uh. First of all, I have
to say, I think all ofthis is completely wrong. Yeah, it's
like kind of offensive too. It'skind of offensive. I mean, it
is true that I feel like there'smore men going out in the woods looking
for Bigfoot than women. I feelthat there's more women women in sitting around

(07:19):
trying to you know, contact withsomething and interdimensionally. But tickle fights,
Yeah, yeah, tickle fights, mud bath you know, yeah, exactly,
exactly, That's what I'm talking about. Um and just kind of like
clumping people and races together in thisidea and then and then just never really

(07:41):
giving us any information. So Icame across this because not that like it's
news anybody listening to this, butthis is like just this is just a
year ago. People, Like ayear ago, we're still having people saying
seventy percent of people that believe insome kind of paranormal phenomenon and they're saying
this is you know, why dothey believe in this? And they're still
crazy. So I think what's alsoreally interesting about this bill is the qualifications

(08:05):
of the person that is appointed torun this organization that is supposed to be
for the people, by the people. Correct, Yes, Josh, Yes,
it can't be anyone a part ofthese legacy programs. Yeah, and
the legacy programs include you know, any any of these people that have been
involved in government programs or like programsthat are that could be in charge of

(08:28):
some of this information that's not gettingout, but clearly just stripped of all
that just reporting to this system, which is important, I think, right,
Yeah, I think that's very importantbecause you can't because what would happen
immediately the flood with the people whoknow what's going on and they just keep
their agenda going. It's super importantthat it's people who are not a part
of that those programs. That onlymakes sense, And that's awesome. That's

(08:52):
Congress posturing. That's a power moveright there. They're trying to take it
back. So they're gonna make anyI legal and then they're going to form
a committee that's not going to beinfluenced by these people. That's the goal,
right, Which was seemed like thewhole problem with Fitzgerald, right,
he was part of the h Alot of people were saying he was part
of the cover up, which iswhy they supposedly didn't find any Uh you

(09:13):
know what did they say? Conclusive? No? What was the will extraordinary
or credible evidence of No? Yeah? Yeah yeah. Why do you go
a program? Why is it evena program? It doesn't make sense,
Like the whole point of it isbecause there's something there to study, It
doesn't That guy's he's the next HiNick. But hopefully he does a Hi
Nick and after his tenure he turnsit around and comes forward about it.
Because right now, clearly you canlook at his face, go back and

(09:33):
watch the thing, Like his facejust looks stressed and like he has to
take a ship the whole time.I don't know what's going on with that
guy's face, but like I'm disappointed, like I really am. Like it
is pretty stressful though, because you'vegot to think about it, Like some
of the stuff that that they havediscovered, maybe they have figured out that
it's it's not necessarily alien, butit could be um, Russian or Chinese.

(09:56):
Right Like, if they have amillion cases to go through, some
of them might be stuff and thenthat becomes classified and he doesn't want to
say the wrong thing because then hecould be in trouble. But however,
then there's the UFO part. Okay, so what what parts of these are
not in that sector that we cantalk about? And this is where I
think allowing someone that's not in anyof those camps to be in charge of
it is really important. That doesn'tmean that they can't be swayed by political

(10:22):
persuasion or money or some other youknow, like remember this is we're still
dealing with politics here. But butI think like putting in line that this
is a separate organization that needs tobe separate from from all this other influence
and stuff like that, I thinkit The problem is there's no protocol.
Everyone's trying to put a protocol intoplace of like what do we do with

(10:46):
alien bodies? Ye? Right? You know, um, you know,
the idea that an institution or aprivate sector could be holding onto them and
not allowing other people to know thatthey exist or give even the government ends
to that is should be against thelaw for sure. Like it says here

(11:07):
institution or private sector entities in physicalpossession of technologies of unknown origin or biological
evidence of non human intelligence. Mygod, just that line is just so
historical, Like it sounds like they'redoing a good job if this slow gyp
disclosure because most people are like, okay, whatever, But that like ten
years ago, if we heard thatin a bill, it would have caused
like worldwide headlines. That's amazing.Well, speaking on that, I know

(11:28):
you were trying to sort of juxtaposethe article from a year ago, Melissa
and what we're seeing today with thisbill talking about like non human intelligences,
which is fucking wild only a yearback. What are your thoughts on that?
Things like that previous study in thearticle before from two thousand and two being
like testing the waters, Like it'sliterally like, you know how many people

(11:52):
believe in this shit? Like beforewe spring this on everyone, let's just
sort of check the temperature here.Oh, I see what you mean,
Like, well, that's been goingon for ten years now. They're they're
like just just the fact that theyput media out there constantly. There's tons
of shows that are talking about aliens, whether it's fearful or it's ancient aliens
or you know what I mean right, like we're inundated. Yeah yeah with

(12:16):
this concept, Um one hundred percentthink this is just part of that that
wheelhouse for sure, just kind oftesting the waters. But I but I
do also think that they are knowingthat there are a lot of people that
believe in Atlantis and all this kindof stuff, and they publish this article
knowing that they would get a bunchof hits of people that were skeptical and

(12:37):
people that were like, why wouldthey publish this? And you know,
I mean just the they put allthe keywords in the in the beginning of
the article, you know, Atlantis, bigfoot UFOs. They're like, we're
gonna get tons of hits on this. Yeah, it's super it's really click
baity fisher right and there. Andyou know, and I don't I disagree
with all the stuff that they cameup with. It just it just it's

(12:58):
like they're publishing this stuff, like, you know, people at our edge
don't believe in Atlantis, and Iwould, I would. I don't actually
believe that there's a lot of educatedpeople that are thinking, like, there's
got to be more to life thanjust this, and they start going on
the whole Atlantis train and then you'reinto past lives and right, I mean,
I don't know, I don't Idon't believe in that at all.
I think that there's a lot ofmore people interested in that kind of stuff

(13:18):
so interesting to you know, kindof test the waters to see where people
are. But also but there's alot of people that just don't want to
deal with it, and they're like, who are these Americans that believe in
all this stuff? That's crazy? All right? So here's another thing that
was really interesting in the bill qualifications. The person appointed Executive Director shall be

(13:41):
a private citizen of integrity. Thisis distinguished professional, is not a president
employer of the federal government, andhas no previous or current involvement with legacy
programs d D authority relating to thecollection, exploitation, or reverse engineering of
technologies of unknown origin, or examinationof biological evidence of living or deceased,

(14:03):
non human or deceased. They wouldn'twrite those words unless they knew what they
were going for. Every word iscarefully crafted in that sentence, righteah,
yeah, because it's either one theyknow right, one, they know that
there are deceased bodies that have beenfound, whether it's roswell or some other

(14:24):
crash, or they think someone knowsor someone has that in their possession and
they want it right, they wantaccess to that, or they're saying it
might happen I don't know. Iwould say, at this point, they
know, they know it's out there, and they're gonna go get it.
And that's why it's worded that way. You know, if they weren't sure

(14:46):
at this point, they wouldn't wordit that way. I don't think so
we would even have a bill likeI think it's I think behind the scenes,
what we haven't heard yet, what'scoming up in the hearing in July
twenty six, people march your calendarsis the next public hearing. This one
could be significant. So I justthink they already know and this is all
confirming everything. They're very careful howthey say it, but this bill is
like what they're saying in there.Every word is crafted on purpose. Like

(15:09):
imagine putting on a bill a nonhuman living organism, Like like, what
does that mean? I mean,I didn't say it perfectly, but like
that is it is. You're found. And nothing in the history of any
government has ever done anything like thatin an official bill. You know.
I know a small town on NewYork made it illegal to kill Bigfoot,
but that's a whole different ball gamethan the US government. The head of

(15:30):
the Democratic Yeah, what about we'llget into the short, squatch, don't
you worry anyways, I don't knowwhere I was going with this rant other
than that that's so significant and Ineed to pause and just rant passionately about
it for twenty five seconds. Done. Well, you're gonna get that chance.
But let's let's kind of recap onthis a little bit. So not
I think what we think about isdeceased or non human entities. We're thinking

(15:52):
of one things that that we're speakingof the big things like Roswell or some
of the big cases. But whatabout some of the small cases like the
family in Vegas with the ring lightthat everybody's still debating it was like fake
and now it's real. And thenthere's please putting cameras up, and there's
there's people inundating their house like it'scraziness. Right, So, but what

(16:12):
about the evidence of people that havethey have physical contact with not only aliens,
bigfoot and other paranormal type stuff.Maybe this is all encompassing of that
dead or alive. Yeah, soI don't know, that's pretty cool.
So yes, with that, Iknow you guys have some crazy stories more

(16:34):
evidence of shit that's going on.Yeah, let's all forget people that ufolog
You didn't start in twenty seventeen withthe New York Times article. It's actually
over one hundred years old. Nowthere's so many amazing stories. So the
first thing I want to say iswhat is generally for the one on one
crowd people knew people. What isgenerally seen when someone makes contact with a
non human intelligence, generally on acraft or some other environment. So the

(16:56):
research suggests a couple of things. One, we know the short graze,
these tall, these short, littlegray beings with big giant eyes. They
can move really fast, paralyze you, and generally take you up to a
ship or another environment. Then youhave the tall grays, which seem like
they're they're overlords. They seem alittle more sentient. They seem like like
they're they're humanoid in the sense they'rereal, not like a robot. The

(17:17):
short grays seemed robotic in a lotof ways, but I don't know,
this is all speculation. And thenat the same time, people also wouldn't
witness reptilian looking beings. They alsowitness Nordics, which are basically Swedish supermodels.
Believe it or not, they seethose a lot. Apparently they can
be the meanest. Who would havethought, actually that makes sense? Right,
really? And then I've never heardof that, right, it all

(17:37):
makes sense. And then there's alsoand these are just like the few of
the things I'm just saying, afew creatures people see. But the other
one that seems to be running theoperation is like this insectoid being that everyone
talks about. They seems to bethe highly intelligent beings called mantis beings that
are overseeing the kind of the operation. But there's other beings seen too,

(17:57):
super un being yeah yeah, yeah, super and sexy but very powerful,
and everything's done through telepathy. Butone of the beings that's seen, um,
that's really fun and interesting and there'sdefinitely a several cases on it.
If you saw the movie Love andSaucers, it's just like short looking sasquatch
being that we like to call shortsquatch, but it's commonly it's commonly referred

(18:21):
to as a Harry Dwarf in theufolog terminology, but it's it depends how
you hear the description. It seemsmore squatch than human to me. But
so besides Love and Saucers, whichis an awesome doc used to see,
it's a guy just bangs a millionaliens. He doesn't bang short squatch.
That didn't happen, But I meanI was hoping, we were all hoping.
This is actually probably the most famouscase of Harry dwarfs. I actually

(18:44):
could briefly heard about it a longtime ago but never researched it. It's
from the fifties, but it's fascinatingand well documented. It's not a super
long story, but it's but it'sreally cool. So here we go.
All right, So the data isNovember twenty ninth, nineteen fifty four.
It's between two am and two thirtyam. We're in Venezuela, and we're
within a suburb of fifteen miles ofCaracas, which is the capital. The

(19:07):
name of the town is pe Tari E Petitri. I don't I'm not
gonna try Pete Petari fuck whatever. It's a place. He's back. So
there's two guys in a van andthey were I'll tell you the names a
second. They were going to getpork butchery products at a wholesale or to
sell at daybreak at a market. Now that's just really specific and weird and

(19:30):
yeah, slightly gross pig, butalso what makes things resonate with me.
More is when the details are preciselike that, And this is definitely something
that was reported, documented, andI'll investigated a lot. So the two
gentlemen were Gustavo Gonzalez, he wasfrom Cuba, he was about twenty five,
and Jose Ponce Ponce and he Idon't have an age for him.

(19:52):
So this is the incident. Theywere driving on Bella Vista Street. It's
like a warehouse sector, industrial sector. When they came down a street and
everything were strangely lit up. Theycame around a corner and there was an
object in the road that is describedboth as a disc in sphere depending on
the article you're reading, and theystopped. I'm gonna go with discs.
It seems like there was other witnessesthat night who saw a disc, so
I'm gonna say it's a disc. The object it was metallic, luminous disc

(20:15):
and there was only two to fourmeters in diameter and a hovered motionless had
two windows. The two men gotout of the van. Gonzalez kind of
went forward. Ponce stayed back becausethat shit's weird, and he lagged behind
Gonzalez with his like you're going bro, No, you're good. I'm just
gonna just let me know what happens, okay, the truck. I don't

(20:37):
blame pods. I mean I hada buddy who, like, we came
around a corner hiking once and therewas like moose right next to us,
and I immediately backed off and helike walked towards them, and I was
like, what are you doing?Man? Like, I don't. I'm
not gonna save you. That shitis scary. So Gonzalez approached the object
about eight meters. He was prettyclose to it, and suddenly he realized
there was like a one meter tallbeing standing there. Now, this I'm

(20:57):
gonna take from a quote from anarticle from UFO Log written by Patrick Gross.
He kind of summarized all these differentarticles and all these different books and
stuff about this case, and thisis what he wrote. Quote. This
being that stood in front of thesphere, he says, sphere. I
think it's a disc though was coveredwith stiff, dark hair. He had

(21:18):
hands finished by four long claws, cutting like weapons. His head was round,
or perhaps under a round helmet, without ears, without nose, without
mouth, and the two eyes werelarge oval shining or reflecting the light.
Of the headlights at the van lightCat's eyes. It's describes his glowing eyes
several places the color changes. Heseemed not to wear any clothing except what

(21:38):
was described as some sort of weirdloincloth and seemed barefoot. Fucking tribal alien.
This guy was both like super advancedand like contigenous at the same time,
right, another just another frat partyguy got loose. But actually,

(22:00):
if you think about the loincloth, that's just what he described it as.
I mean, he knows what itactually was, you know. But so
Gonzalez, for some reason, hehad a flashlight. He just threw it
at it immediately because it was suddenlyto write on him. He threw a
flash out at it and it justbounced off him. And then for some
reason, I don't know what itis because he drives a white van or
what his problem was, but Gonzalezjust like for some reason decided to pick
it up quick like he was sofrightened. He like grabbed it and he

(22:22):
was like ah, and he likebasically tried to take him back to the
van, picked up short squatch likegrabbed it doing Gonzalez. You know,
that's like creepiest shit. You don'tpick up people, you know, you
don't pick up kids like that. You don't pick up things with claws that
you've never seen before. Like, what terrible decision. And it ended up
being a bad decision. So hetried to pick him up and take him
to the van, which you know, just think about that, um And

(22:45):
then Gonzalez said, it weighed roughlyfifty pounds. It was light, but
it was weirdly strong, so likewithin him second, the thing was like
what are you doing? And itbasically punched or scratched him really hard in
the ribs, get a bruise laterand kicked him away, and Gonzalez like
stumbled to the ground and the thingbacked off quick sure, so Gonzalez was

(23:07):
like, holy shit, he feltlike a trance overtake him, Like he
was suddenly losing control over his bodyand it was feling weird. He wanted
to get up, but he couldn't. And then the being, the short
squatch did a fee quotes feline jumpat him quickly, and Gonzalez is like,
instinct, somehow we're able to overridethe trance state, is what I'm
getting here, and he pulled outhis boy scout knife. He called it,

(23:30):
and he stabbed at the short squatch, but the blade just kind of
glanced off him like he was madeof rhino skin as a scrabber metal or
something. It just wasn't stabbable. It was a really thick skin. So
wait, hold on a second. So Paunch or whatever he's he's in there,
he's in the truck just watching this. This all happens fast. I'll
let you know a second what happenedto Ponce whatever he does. Okay,

(23:51):
So he gets a close up.Gonzalez gets a close up view of the
creature and it has webbed hands, which I've never heard before, and for
show, I've heard that sharp claw. Oh okay. And then this is
when he noticed that two more beingsuddenly kind of appeared around the craft and
one this how Gonzalez describes it,but Ponce describes it differently later, and
I'll get to that. He describesit as a lantern of sort, which
I think is a wand reference, which is conformed in a little bit if

(24:15):
you follow you a follow you. There's a lot of this talk of this
wan glass like thing that's seen incase after case after case after case,
and it blinds Gonzalez with it.He doesn't know what the hell happens.
He opens his eyes, they're allgone. The ship's gone. So you
asked about Ponce, Jose Ponce. So during the fight, Jose Ponce was
cheating back just like I would havedone, and been like, what the
fuck is going on up there? Why is my friend grabbing the short hairy

(24:37):
squatch? That's just so weird andterrible. So he saw a second being
actually climb up the hill near whenthis was happening, holding earth or soil
or rocks, just like lumps ofearth basically, so it was like taking
samples. It saw what was happeningwith Gonzalez and his other buddy, short
squatch friend, so it leaped intothe disc like in a doorway, opened

(24:57):
up, and came back with abeing. Ponce said. The third one,
he describes the lantern as a longmetallic shining tube, which is those
exact words I've heard used before lotsof cases. One of them was firing
the sky whose name is escaping meright now, Travis Walton's case. He
talks about that and several other onesI've seen all the time. Even an

(25:18):
experiencer that I'm working with like ittalks about this like wand thing. Anyways,
so they jumped back into this fear, all three of them, and
it shoots straight up. So afterwards, immediately Ponce didn't wait for Gonzales to
finish the fight. He started runningbasically as soon as the other two jumped
out with the wand he ran toa police station and came in, and
then Gonzales end up being there afew moments later. He ran into.

(25:41):
They just left their van, theyditched it. So this is a real
case. I'm not going to listall the names and stuff like that,
but when it was documented, theywere interviewed, and they were it was
extensively documented actually by the authorities andby UFO investigators. But that same night
to the authorities, there was liketwenty or thirty there was all these different
reports they called into station. Allthese different people saw heard exposion, a
lot of explosions, lights in thestreets, UFOs in the sky that night.

(26:03):
And there's a whole list of names. I could go into them not
but one of the more notable oneswas a well known Caracas physician who witnessed
the whole thing literally where it happenedon the street, kind of from a
distance and kind of saw it all, but he didn't come forward a little
later when people made him feel betterabout it. So that's kind of the
end of the story. It's ait's kind of the origin story for Short
Squatch and it happened in Venezuela, and he is my favorite UFO entity that

(26:29):
resides on these ships by far. It's not all close and I one DADDR
wrestles too, which is great.Yeah, I hope to meet Shorts,
But again, do you really blameshort Squatch in the situation like they were
headed? I mean, he waslike, dude, what are you doing.
I'm not going to go back toyour creepy van. The fucking picked
him up right, Like, yeah, of course you'd fight back. By
the way, where I was Gonzalespicking him and put him up in the

(26:51):
van. He was like, it'san alien. I'm gonna take it and
I'm gonna be famous. That's agreat question. There's like four different reports
at all, say just he wasscared, kind of grabbed it. Know
what he was doing. I don'tknow, Like maybe I thought it was
a kid or something. What thehell are you doing? I don't know.
It's just weird. That's the weirdpart of the story. But stuff
like that almost makes it seem real. Maybe just panicked he threw a flashlight
at it was right in front ofhim. Maybe he just grabbed it was

(27:11):
like, what are you doing rightthere? You know, it was really
close to him. So maybe shortSquatch just startled the part Gonzalez and didn't
know what to do with him. Then he got lit up. He got
lit up by a short squatch.Doubt pick it up. Yeah, So
that's the end of my story aboutGonzalez and Jose in the short Squatch.
So yeah, folks, you mightsee a short Squatch in the next twenty
years if they come forward. Howamazing would that be? Cool? Yeah,

(27:33):
just don't pick him up. Doesn'twant to be picked up. He
doesn't want to go back to yourvan, and doesn't want to candy your
ice cream. Just say hi,walk away slowly right right? Kay?
Just relax, damn, just relax. Something to do. He's just compliment
I mean, he doesn't even havea mouth, so like, what are

(27:55):
you gonna do with them? Anyways? Grosso, that's damn show. Yeah,
okay, all right, okay, onto the darkness. Matt, what
have you got the story with holesin it, miss holes. Um,

(28:17):
well, listen, this isn't toodark, it's it's kind of creepy.
I guess it's super weird, Iwould say, I mean. And this
is the story of the Sanddown Clown. Have you heard heard of this before?
No? Pretty fun, good times. So um. This happened in
May of seventy three, so we'regoing back again, okay, back in

(28:40):
the day. Um. And thisis a small resort town called sand Sanddown,
which is located on the east coastof the Isle of Wight, which
is little island, uh part ofthe UK, but it's kind of off
the shore of the of England.Um. Anyway, So this sort of

(29:02):
started with two kids. They weren'tsiblings, they were just friends, but
they were vacationing with their families nearby. And this sort of area is where
there's there's sort of like this woodedarea whether these two kids sort of just
go exploring, gonna go play andstuff. And it's in between the Sanddown

(29:23):
golf course and a sort of alittle airport that was I think it was
about to shut down around this stage, so there wasn't much happening around this
area, but super nice area, like enough for a nice golf course and
stuff, probably a more affluent area, I would imagine. Anyway, So

(29:45):
these two kids rollcking through the woodshaving a having a great old time,
having a fat old time, andall of a sudden they hear this crazy
one note pitched, high pitched sirennoise. Okay, blast through the forest,
and you know, they sort ofdecide to go see what the fuck

(30:07):
that was, which you know mayor may not have been an awesome idea.
Anyway, Beginning they start walking towardsthe sound. Yeah, they start
walking to other sound. They walkthrough the golf course from where they were
staying, and they come to thislittle wooded area and there's a footbridge in

(30:27):
the middle of this wooded area that'ssort of running over the top of this
sort of running stream. It wasn'tlike a gushing river, but it was
like enough water sort of to havea footbridge to go over it. Anyway,
Yeah, they're sort of hanging aroundthe bridge trying to figure out where
the sound came from, when allof a sudden they see a blue gloved,

(30:48):
three fingered hand appear on the sideof the bridge, and this being
pops up getting and the hand belongedto this crazy looking being, and it
sort of it was startled to seethe kids there all of a sudden,

(31:11):
like it was like it didn't realizethat they were standing there. So here's
what it looked like. They havea pretty good description of what this guy
looked like. It says being stoodover seven feet tall, so it's pretty
tall. And its head was describedas being too large for its otherwise thin
frame and shaped like a nearly perfectsphere. And they said there was really

(31:34):
no discernible neck. The head wasjust sitting on top of the shoulders like
that, like a pumpkin head.Yeah, it's very sort of scarecrow sounding,
actually, I thought when I wasreading this. So they say the
skin was very white and had theconsistency of paper. Well, it's hands
and feet possessed. So yeah, both the hands and feet were both three

(31:56):
digits. Reminds me of that Approvemummy, Yeah, the mummy thing.
Right. Yeah, we hear threeand four both a lot more three though.
Yeah. So this thing's hands andfeet three three fingers, three toes,
and it had no shoes on,barefoot, standing in the mud.
Um. The face seemed to havebeen sort of it was like a mask

(32:22):
it was wearing over its head, and it's sort of instead of this is
where the whole clown thing comes from. Yeah, the kids who described this
thing never sort of mentioned it beinga clown, but the description of it
people just sort of named it thesanddown clown. So it says the face

(32:45):
seemed to have been crudely painted ontothe surface of the head. Two blue
triangles seemingly represented its eyes, whilea flat brown rectangle served for a nose,
and the mouth had this thin, these thin yellow oval shaped lips um
which did not move at all whenit spoke or eight. It had sort

(33:06):
of hair eating what was it eating? Yeah, yeah, what was it
eating? We'll get there, we'llget there. Okay, Um, it's
uh, it's so it's the lipsall right. So the hair hang down,
The hair hung down beneath its hatit was wearing, and it was
kind of this like triangle, youknow, cone shaped hat that was wearing,

(33:29):
which also added to the clown sortof feel of this thing. Um,
and it was sort of this reddishbrown, frizzled hair um that was
sort of hanging down beneath the hat. Then it said these two sort of
wooden looking antennae stuck up from thesides of its head, while more wooden
slat like antennae extended from its wristsand ankles, which, yeah, super

(33:54):
weird looking thing. And again itsort of really sounds like a scarecrow.
Me. Oh okay, So theoutfit was wearing really sort of also added
to this whole clown situation going on. Um so I said, the tall
pointed hat and it had a blackknob or bobble on top of the hat.

(34:15):
This high colored suit of red andgreen, to which the hat seemed
to be attached to, So itwas all the way down and attached to
the to the suit, and itwore these dark blue gloves. The feet
were bare. Suits, trousers andsleeves were long and frilly. Whether the
wooden antennae were part of the costumeor part of the being's body is unknown.

(34:38):
Dude, just never trust anything withgloves, but barefoot that's just an
odd creepy Yeah. Yeah, yougot some odd priorities going on, right,
Yeah, that doesn't make any sense. You know, maybe he burned
his hands and you know, hewas sunbathing on vacation and then the feet
were Okay, I don't know, maybe he was super self conscious of his

(34:58):
hands. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So this being seemed to
be startled a little bit by thechildren, like I said, and it
had what appeared to be like thislittle notebook in its hand, and it's
sort of like sort of awkward looking, and it's the way it moves was
sort of really awkward as well. And anyway it drops, it drops the

(35:19):
notebook in the water and then sortof splashes around trying to pick it up
again. Super clumsy, just likereally awkward in its movements. So the
kids were like, okay, timeto back away now, and they start
to sort of like move away fromthis thing, okay, and this thing
just starts heading backwards away from them. And they describe it as this almost

(35:44):
sort of slow motion, high kneelooking like hopping running sort of thing.
And someone described it as like almostbeing like like you're walking on the surface
of the moon, you know, just like these really undulating sort of steps.
Interesting. Yeah, huh, Sothe kids said it was it ran

(36:04):
towards this metallic hut, which wasweird. It was kind of sitting in
amongst the trees and what the kidswere saying, this hut looked like actually
the description of it, if youread it, it actually sounded more like
a metallic tube, like with thisrounded top on it that was kind of
sitting in amongst the trees, likethetallic a metallic penis was in the middle

(36:30):
of the forest. Yeah, sure, that's exactly what they described it as.
Okay, anyway, No, solike again, like he was saying,
Josh, metallic tube, right, but that's what do you explaining?
It was very phallic sounding, justlike, yeah it was. It wasn't
about like holes or something sort ofyeah, anyway, the right a little

(36:57):
bit. Anyway, So the childrenwere a little unnerved, obviously, a
little bit unnerved u and so theystarted to sort of walk away from this
thing and just kind of like,we should probably leave this alone. Anyway.
They were about one hundred and fiftyfeet away from this thing now and
the engine he suddenly re emerges fromthis hatch in the side of the in

(37:19):
the metallic structure. Yes, thistime it's holding a device which resembled a
black knobbed sort of microphone looking thing, and they said it had like a
sort of a white flex chord comingoff it that attached to a small box
that apparently served as some kind ofamplifier. Um, and so as he

(37:42):
came out of the ship, thatwhole wailing siren noise came back, and
some people suggested maybe it was kindof feedback from this like amplifier like that
you know that sounds sure. Yeah, like he was too he was too
close to another microphone. Yeah, something like that. Yeah, but it
was the story turned down the feeton the spot, Hold on one second,

(38:04):
hang on a second, tip yourwaiters, and so he uh,
this sort of whaling sound was superloud, and it freaked the children out
this time because they were right byit. So crazy that the little boy
that was with the girl was soscared he began to like sort of run
away. Faye turn was about toOh. So the little girl they referred

(38:25):
to as fay I forgot to mentionthat it's not her real name, it's
an alias. They kept all thepeople involved nameless, so Faye they called
her. She was about to followher friend when the screeching, whaling sound
faded away and this sort of mechanizedlooking clown began to speak into the microphone.

(38:50):
The kids were a solid distance awayat this point, but when it
spoke. It sounded as though itwas being spoken right next to them,
like right into their ear. Likeit wasn't like it was being projected.
It was like this thing was standingnext to them all of a sudden,
and the thing they hear is hello, are you still there? And the
kids sort of stop and look around, and then they said this thing kind

(39:12):
of like had a friendlish voice,so they kind of hesitantly sort of started
walking back to this thing. Andso at this point they walked back to
this like crazy looking crown clown thingand the clown. This is super odd.
So the clown, the clown asbeing opened up there. There's notebook

(39:37):
that it had. It was stillwet at the time, but it's sort
of scrawled a message in the booklike it was like it didn't it didn't
want to talk. It would rathersort of write this thing, which was
weird. Um. It says theboy was wary, but Faye cautiously approached
the clown creature and inspected the writing. As this chaotic sequence of words was

(39:59):
in no con mentional order. Fayeread each one as the thing pointed to
it. The message read hello, and I am all colors, Sam,
What the fuck? That means, hello, I am all colors, Sam.
Is it a cipher? What isthat? You know? I don't

(40:20):
know. And like she said,it was all out of water. Yeah,
um okay, And then what didhe say next? That's it?
Uh no, so Sam, we'llcall this thing now could apparently speak without
the microphone, but it sounded asif when it tried to speak, it
was a difficult task, and theythe Faye described it as kind of like

(40:45):
if a ventrolocust was speaking without movinghis mouth, Like it was like it
couldn't move its mouth, and thatwas what they were saying about the you
know, these odd sort of geometricshapes on its face representing his nose and
mouth thing. Nothing was moving whenit would talk, so it was almost
like this yeah, creepy sort ofmosku that it was wearing. Huh,

(41:07):
I am all colors, yeah, meaning and I am all colors Sam.
I mean the first thing I thoughtof just when you said that was when
uh, monks and people that havebeen studying kind of like the spiritual field
talk about the rainbow body. Umabout how like spiritual leaders would or Jesus

(41:28):
or you know, this idea thatthe rainbow body can transverse transverse traverse space
and time type of thing. Ohinteresting, Okay, I don't know why
that just came to mind when yousaid, you know, I'm sam,
I'm all colors, you know, like the idea of the rainbow body being
like more of a frequency of travelinstead of um, you know, like
I'm I'm purple, pink, andorange, you know what I mean?

(41:50):
Right? Yeah, yeah, I'mall the colors. Uh, nondiscriminatory.
How old are these kids? Saying? How are they? Again? Oh?
One was the girl was a leveland I think or maybe slightly younger,
and the boy was I think nine, So though young young kids.
The reason why I say that isI want to know what the theory is,
what happened, or what the takeawayfrom all this is. But it's

(42:10):
interesting that everything's drawn like a kidlike it has very basic kindergarten drawing on
its face. Like it feels likeit's trying to relate to them but not
scare them, either attract them andtry to do something terrible or the opposite.
Just just is kind of like,oh, I want to just be
friendly to you, and this iswhat I should look at? What Yeah?
Yeah, it was like yeah, exactly, the gloves on my hands

(42:31):
and then no feet. I meanhe's like a character and like a cart
like a cartoon character. Yeah yeahreally really, Oh, I dropped my
notebook. I'm all colors exactly showingme, Yeah, my tin felic devices.

(42:52):
Yeah. The whole thing is likea giant flying Johnson, um fucking
interdimensional walking around the woods. Whatthe fuck? So like when people don't
explain is that they see all thesecigar shaped UFOs all over the place,
but they're religious phallic penis shaped.Yeah, we all know, we know

(43:17):
what they're talking about. Um,And it just I was just going to
say to the the she said thatwas like, it wasn't in order of
those words. It was he wroteall his random words and it sort of
pointed to each one of these thingsand she read it aloud and that was
the sentence that it spelled out.So that was kind of odd, took

(43:38):
um. So, yeah, Ihad sort of this really muffled, odd
sort of voice to it. Um. So they were feeling that Sam didn't
seem like too much of a threat. And the kids started asking you questions
obviously, um so Faye asks whyhis clothes were all torn so he had
like this tattered, old, sortof dirty torn clothes. Um. Sam

(44:01):
replied that they were the only clotheshe had available, which almost sounds like
he's like a I don't know,he got stranded here or something, just
a band down by the river, pean us down by the river. So
um Faye apparently fixated on this humanoidstrangely sort of immobile features and paper white

(44:25):
skin and all that sort of stuff. She was really like, you know,
what the hell are you? Sheasked if Sam was a human.
His reply was simply no. Andthen and then she sort of backed it
up and said, um, andthis is kind of weird. So this
is the seventies, early seventies,so aliens and UFOs and stuff is a

(44:47):
thing at this point. But whatthese kids were sort of describing this thing
as she kept asking if it wasa ghost, because there must have been
something sort of other worldly about whateverthis thing was or how it looked,
how it moved. Um, Soshe asked Sam straight out, are you
a ghost? The being replied, well, not really, but I am

(45:12):
in an odd sort of way becausehe d maybe because he's interdimensional. Yeah
that's what I was thinking too.Yeah, and maybe that's why he's wearing
like tattered clothes and gloves and likelike pumpkin head thing. You know,
maybe because he doesn't necessarily have likea full body, right, Yeah,

(45:34):
it seems like it's pieced together withthe things he found around the house.
I don't know. Yeah, Sothe kids ask, what are you?
Then Sam vaguely replied, you know, and that was it. You motherfucker
guy. Fucking Sam, this guyanyway, it's like Wrestla says to Han

(46:00):
Solo, I love you. Asthere's being separated, he goes, I
know, he's piece of shit.Ya gotta get back into my penis device.
Bye bye. So the creature thenwent on to explain that although he
had indicated that his Monika was Sam, with the writing in the book,

(46:21):
that he had no real name,he also claimed that there were others like
him on Earth, and further confessedthat he was frightened of people of humans
and scared they might hurt him, stating that if he were ever attacked,
he could not fight back. Idon't know what the fuck means either,
which is sad. It does soundlike he's stranded there. Yeah, it's

(46:44):
interesting. It sounds like he's strandedthere um. So then it gets a
little creepier. So the being theninvites the children to empenter his giant metal
too. Here we go, someone'sabout to get touched in a properly the
windowless hut I have inside. Didthey go in there? Fuck? Nothing
happens to them. Yeah, theygo in. He opens this sort of

(47:07):
flaplike door on the side of flapof the two. If I was six
and nine, I never would havegone into some guy's phallic metal hut ever.
Ever liked he had a magic microphone, and shit, let's just seven
scared at the seventies. We wantto fall him for it. Ever,

(47:28):
Nope, all right, so thekids follow him inside. Right, kids
are inside. Now they describe theinside of this hot metallic hut that they
keep describing, and it has twolevels, right, so the lower level
has and they describe it as this. And you got to remember, like,
all this description is through the eyesof two young kids back in the

(47:49):
seventies who I don't know, youknow, didn't probably have a lot of
experience with the world to kind ofbe able to explaining, you know,
these other worldly things that was.So face says that the inside had this
blue green wall paper kind of textured. Inside of it, it was covered
with patterns of different dials and stars. Odd There was a strange electrical heater

(48:15):
that gave off a bunch of heat, and then some really basic, odd
looking wooden furniture. They said theupper level was not as expansive and had
a metal floor to it, sothe whole thing's made of metal. Sam
told them that he managed to surviveon feeding on berries that he collected in

(48:36):
the late afternoon, and he gothis water from the nearby creek that he
was standing in, but he hadto clean it before he consumed it.
He didn't explain how so he's eatingberries and drinking water. It sounds reminds
me of some missing fall on onestuff actually berries thing. Yeah, anyway,
Sam also sold the kids he hada secret camp that he maintained which

(48:58):
was located on the mainland of England. So he's on this island, the
Isle of White right down right now, but he has a secret camp somewhere
in the mainland. And then itsays once inside the hut, Sam removed
his hat to reveal a pair ofodd, rounded white ears and sparse patches
of brownish hair on the top ofthis perfectly round head, but still had

(49:20):
this face mask thing on. Rightnext, the creature did something truly outlandish.
The children testified that the creature placeda berry in the ear hole of
his head and then sort of lunchforward, causing the berry to disappear and
reappear inside the whole of one ofits triangular eye sockets, and then repeated

(49:42):
that same movement again, and theberry then repeated came into the mouth hole,
and then he sort of like tookit down, which is kind of
really really odd. Okay, Okay, I'm sorry, but at this point,
first of all, I never wouldhave gone into the phallic tin house.
But if I had and that happened, there's no way I would have
stayed. Right, so you're tellingme. They were like, oh,

(50:04):
that's cool, dude, the berrytrick again. And no, well again.
It's like it's almost like this kindof magic trick that it's doing just
to kind of like entertain the kids. Like, hey, you know,
we're having a good time in here. No they're not two, they're six
and nine. No, that's scary. Okay, yeah, it's like super
creepy. But you know, thisthing didn't seem to hurt them in any

(50:24):
way, which is great, butthe whole thing is super right anyway,
So the kids ended up spending Likethey said, this whole thing was reported
in the UK version of Um moveOn. It's called the Bufora, so
bu f o r a same sortof move on sort of deal. I

(50:46):
know them very well. Those aremy people. Oh okay, yeah,
I have no idea there um thesekind of people anyway. So they just
said basically that the kids spend asolid thirty minutes chatting with Sam inside this
thing. No mention of what theyasked him, only that Sam was giving

(51:06):
them really ambiguous answers again like youknow, um, but again like I
want to know what they were asking, what they were talking about. There's
got to be some water that anyway. So you said this was in like
eventually told was it in move funbecause I can look this case up,
Matt, Or was it the equivalentyou're saying or organization? No? Yeah,
so this is the English equivalent ofmove I don't have access to four

(51:29):
bu fra. What year was itagain? Seventy three? All right,
keep going sorry yeah, um.So they eventually told Sam it's been real.
We got to get the fuck home. It's getting a little late,
and so they get out of theship and Sam let's him go. There's
no sort of like creepy like, hey, you know, I got some

(51:52):
candies back here, why don't youcome anyway? I don't know how that
works, but sure, it's justas creepy. So they they basically take
off Sam LUTs and go. Theycrawl outside and they sort of like super
like jumped up and like, holyshit, this is what some wild ship.

(52:13):
We need to tell someone immediately.Yeah, So they're running back across
the golf course and as they're runningback, um, they excitedly well,
so they run across a golfer justlike knocking some balls around over there,
and they excitedly tell him all aboutthis ghost. They describe him as a
ghost that they were hanging out with. So apparently this this golfer just like

(52:34):
laughs at him and just calls himlike your little ships get the fuck out
of here with your stupid stories, and basically just completely shuts them down,
ridicules him of course, right,um, and then so um, this
is an odd thing too. SoFaye also later reported that she had seen
these two workmen work working nearby repairinga fence post, and they were in

(53:00):
visual distance of these guys, andshe says that it was like they couldn't
see them at all. They werejust working over there and they were like
in some sort of I don't know, some kind of bubble, some sort
of bubble they couldn't see. Like, obviously, if you were within visual
difference, sorry distance of this sevenfoot clown talking to two two kids with

(53:22):
a giant metal penis in the middleof nowhere, you'd probably have a look
at it, you know. Hedidn't. But apparently these guys just didn't
even notice that they were there, which is wild. It's a metal penis,
No, no way, sorry,we're in the UK, A little

(53:44):
penis. Oh yeah, that's right, I did. Irish apparently felt really
frustrated with when she told the golfer, and she was like, she felt
like really like embarrassed that she wassuper ridicule by this guy sort of,
and they two agreed to sort ofkeep it to themselves. But a week

(54:06):
or so later, she eventually thentold her dad about it, and it
says although her dad initially found hisdaughter's report difficult to believe, he ultimately
arrived at quite a curious conclusion, and he says, this is what he
says in this Mouffon Buffon article. It says, I get the impression that
Faye was somehow taken into a bubbleof aleen reality created by this strange personage

(54:30):
personage. And he told the journalthat he ended up believing Faye as she
was so intense about what she'd seen, and he'd actually tested her memory of
what she's seen again and again tosee if she was making it up,
Like he'd asked her again like acouple of days later, and she again

(54:52):
said the same thing, same details, like super detailed story and what and
sort of that's sort of the endof it. They didn't really The dad
sort of followed them over to wherethey found this this Sam clown and there
was nothing there. Obviously. Therewas no giant phallic metal tube in the

(55:12):
middle of nowhere. There was noimpressions on the ground where like a huge
metallic structure would have been sitting,so obviously there was lots of people just
saying, oh, she made itup, like not today, sorry,
sorry, I'm sorry that people treatedyou that way, but not twenty twenty
three, that's right. But there'salso like an interesting little end piece to

(55:38):
this. So the dad. Oneof the reasons the dad also didn't completely
dismiss his daughter after that, youknow, she told him the story was
he also had a number of UFOexperiences himself. Here we go so years

(55:59):
earlier, he had several, likeI said, like there was one where
he was talking about like driving witha friend, he was seen by another
guy as well they saw a UFOsort of hovering above this marshland area that
they were driving past. All inthe same area, the Isle of Wight.
I wonder how many if this iskind of a hotspot. Actually I
think actually David eichelves on the Isleof White as well, which is interesting

(56:25):
anyway. So one of the Yeah, so there's a couple of different stories
where these UFOs were kind of seeminglysort of hovering and seemed to just he
I think he said they sort offelt like he was watching him. And
then he has this underwater UAP experiencewhere he was like inexplicably drawn, like

(56:47):
he was like in a trance, drawn to the ocean for some reason,
to this cliff edge overlooking the oceanon the Isle of Wight, and he
said he couldn't help himself. Heknew he had to go there, he
had to go there now. Andwhen he went to the cliff edge,
you saw these two points of lightlooking up at him from underneath the water,

(57:08):
and it was just like this reallyodd feeling and then he sort of
there was no sort of end ofthat, but really odd UFO sort of
occurrence with him. And it's interestingthat now his daughter has this, like
Sam the sound down clown wow,her experience as well. So anyway,

(57:28):
odd story, pretty crazy story, but now that that is evidence these days,
Harry sasquashed short squash search short squash. I love that we go back
into some classic classic cosmic canteenas thisweek. Please whatever you're doing, um,
we live in a different country nowwe are able to talk about these

(57:50):
things and move forward and figure outthe ruler or not. But do not
pick up a short squash if youcan counter them, do not try to
have a knife fight with one ofthem. They're going to get wanted.
Okay, fucking clowns into their giantmetal tubes in the forest. Yes,
yeah, don't do that. Don'tdo that. In this time, that

(58:12):
time find it was more information thananything and and you know, maybe somehow
that has related to the guy theFather's story. Uh, you know,
that's super freaking interesting. I thinkthat we every time we cover one of
these stories, it's always some geneticlink. There's always like a intergeneration an
intergenerational contact with something else, whateverthat is. So that's that's that's super

(58:35):
interesting. So and I think thatI actually think that if we're getting this
far with a bill in Congress andthen that happens that we have a new
kind of group of people getting togetherto to kind of take these accounts in
and figure out what's happening to humanson this planet, we might actually get
further along in these conversations with thesepeople that are having these experiences and really

(58:59):
gathering physical evidence but also really takingit seriously, like what is happening to
the human population on a different level. And I think that, you know,
this is just the beginning of that. So so that that's pretty cool.
I mean, the problem with thesekind of supernatural stories, I'll just
put I'll just lump all of themtogether as that Forbes article did in the
beginning with everything right, including Atlantis, is that their personal reflections of everyone's

(59:28):
reality at that space and time, and so getting a division of the government
or even a group like Moufon orBuffon to gather all that evidence and try
to find something that's unique within thatthat relates to the human experiences. One
is really hard because everyone has theirown reality in a situation. But I
think we're getting there and understanding theuniverse more so. This is pretty cool.

(59:52):
You're here, all right. Everybodybe safe out there. Don't touch
search squash, don't follow clowns intophelic ten buildings, and you will be
okay for now as a rule, just as a rule, and we'll see
you soon. Goodbye.
