Speaker 5 (02:19):
Exactly exactly, I'd like to be loyal to the.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Name as you should hit him long and straight, you know,
drive your show, keep putting for dough. We got coach
Steve Cleveland on the like, Coach, want to get your
reaction to Brian Santiago becoming the leader of BYU athletics
going forward.

Speaker 7 (02:39):
Well, obviously I am a good friend of Brian's and
we go bay way way back, but I was thrilled.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
I mean, if there's anybody that hasn't you know Tom
by the way home. All was just amazing.

Speaker 7 (02:52):
And I think that Tom and Brian have one thing
in common is that relationships with players, young men, young women,
and I think that really is Brian's strength. I mean,
we know he's passionate about a lot of things. He's
got a lot of energy. But I think the most
important thing that I have watched Brian, whether he was
on my staff back in nineteen ninety seven, ninety eight

(03:14):
as an operations guy, that was just amazing. Did it all.
We'll tell a few stories about Brian and I, but
I'm just thrilled that he got the job. I do
believe that it'll be a seamless transition from where they've
been and all the great things they've done.

Speaker 5 (03:33):
But I do know.

Speaker 7 (03:34):
That I'm not sure that anybody on that campus has
a relationship with student athletes more than Brian, and on
and off the floor, port field, whatever it might be,
He's really developed over the years a relationship with these
student athletes and has impacted their success as well as

(03:54):
our coaches' success.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
What do you recall about Brian Santiago in the early days, Right,
I look at his trajectory. I look at when he
became involved in BYU athletics. I believe he came in
to BYU in nineteen ninety seven. Right, your timeline his
timeline kind of coincide together. And he's been a basketball
guy since that day, it seemed, amongst other things. But

(04:21):
you know, give me your your vantage point from your
purch what you've seen in his development since those early
days at BYU.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
You know, first of all, Brian played at Fresno State
University with at the time, I was living there and
I was a community college coach there and I got
to know Brian and his family, and so we've kind
of had a relationship, a personal relationship for.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
Quite a while.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
I can still remember when I got the BYU job,
him showing up in my house and basically, you know,
I got to be on your staff. I want to
go with you, you know, and we had a long
conversation that night. No decisions were made. I didn't really
have a spot at that particular time. We didn't have
an operations spot, didn't exist Basketball of Operations, and uh so,

(05:11):
you know, I was had Nate, Dave Rose, Nate Paul.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Heaths Royer, but there was no no off person.

Speaker 7 (05:18):
So I went to Rondo Felberg and talked to him
a little bit about maybe creating a position. Eventually that
happened and Brian joined me in my office. There was
no office space in the save Marts Save martin In
at the Marriott Center, and so he came in and

(05:39):
became an office buddy with me for four years.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
And I'm telling you that never happened. That's probably never
happened in.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
The history of Division one basketball coaches, players, eights and
so forth. But we became we were good friends before
uh and I spent a lot of time around him.
He was loyal, he was trusted. I mean, he just
I trusted Brian. He was passionate and sometimes I'd probably
getting him in a spot or two. But the bottom line,

(06:06):
he loved the guys. The guys loved him, and it
was a great way for us to start. And I
had a good staff with Dave and Nate and Heath,
so bringing Brian in made sense. And obviously he's had
a long run of this thing in the past twenty
some year twenty plus year or so. That is something

(06:26):
that is dear to my heart. Brian played for at
President State for a guy named Gary Coltson. You guys
might remember him, maybe not. Gary was a dear friend
of mine. He had been in New Mexico, he had
been at Fresno State, but he was someone that had
a close relationship with Brian and really had an influence
on Brighton in terms of Brian had a chance not

(06:48):
only play for him, but to watch him up close
and personal as well. So when we came in ninety
seven ninety eight, Brian was there and from there we
just moved along and we're able to kind of rebuild
the program and do some special things.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
He was a big part of that, Steve when I
was when I was discussing the higher with the with
the fan base, I tell them about his core competencies,
his skill sets. I think he's very intelligent. I think
he's a strategic prom solver, outside the box thinker. I
think he's extremely ambitious, extremely competitive, like over the top

(07:27):
competitive sometimes and I think in sport this works sometimes
in business it doesn't, but I think it's sported it
always works.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Being really over overly competitive.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
But those are some of the qualities that and I
also said like he's his dynamic of a person that
I've seen in front of a crowd when when he's
on right, he's on point.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
So it's one of the reasons why I think he's
had so much success. I think in.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Fundraising and rallying those with means to the cause what
else would you add to that or what would you
kind of confirm from Mayan analysis.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
Well, I think your analysis pretty spot on.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
I think that relationships are really important, you know, and
obviously as an athletic director and all.

Speaker 5 (08:14):
The things going on.

Speaker 7 (08:15):
With NIL and transfer portal and you know, you've got
to be on top of that thing.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
And obviously b YU.

Speaker 7 (08:21):
Has stepped up in big ways over the past several
months with men's and women's sports and the funding that
comes from it, and you know, there's a lot of
speculation where the money comes from, and everybody has an
idea of thought, but the bottom line is there's a
core group of people that support by U that aren't
Ryan Smith that have really stepped up. And obviously Ryan's

(08:42):
been a good friend for BYU and doing a lot
of different things. But I think Brian has relationships with
these folks, and I think that trust that they have
and you know that they had in Tom Homo and
that they haven't Brian Santiago is really critical, absolutely critical
they have that kind of trust in a relationship. We know,

(09:04):
you know, one thing about being he is passionate and
that's kind of a Puerto Rican bloid in him, I guess,
but he is passionate and you can feel it and
sense it, and being at his press conference, I just
thought he just felt good. I sat there and watched
him and realized that twenty seven or twenty eight years
or whatever it is that he's been at BYU, nobody

(09:26):
has a pulse on the of the athletes, the coaches,
the community than Brian does. I mean, he's as prepared
for this particular position as anybody in and around Utah
or throughout the country.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
I mean, he's just prepared for this.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
And so the other thing too about Brian is is
just his integrity.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
And everybody has different thoughts and ideas about everybody.

Speaker 7 (09:49):
But every time Brian told me that he would do something,
he did it. And that's what that is. Making promises
and doing that. Sometimes it didn't always work out for
him or me or anybody else.

Speaker 5 (10:00):
In life, you know, but he was always.

Speaker 7 (10:03):
Passionate, he would do what he said he was going
to try to do, and just had a work ethic.
And those are the character traits you want to have
people that you work side or work alongside with.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
I mean, I don't care if it's in business or
sports or in.

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Any industry in the country. Those are the kind of
people when you who are recruiting that you're looking for,
and those are the character traits that you're looking for
as well.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
Coach Steve Cleveland here on ESPN commenting on the Brian
Santiago hire. One of the things I found interesting Steve was,
you know, he viewed publicly in optics. You know, sometimes
aren't the reality, but it is a public relations deal
that he's only a basketball guy, not a football guy.
There were some concerns there there is a football school.

(10:51):
People say football put by you on the map back
in the eighties. I was like, well, it was also
Danny Ainge and Fred Kaied and Fred you know, great
guide and Fred Roberts. There's some good there's a good
era in BYU athletics. But he went out of his
way to address and he said that BYU football drives

(11:13):
the ship, and this is a football school and he
understands that. And I found it interesting that he went
out of his way to address not only his detractors, hated,
his haters, the doubters, but also to maybe address some
of the concerns that the general population have about a
basketball guy taking over a football school. Could you maybe

(11:37):
comment on that and give me your your perspective on
what you're seeing from Brian.

Speaker 7 (11:42):
You know what, the first thing I'll tell you is
that Brian Santiago and Colonie Sataki are great friends and
they have a great personal relationship.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
You know, well beyond.

Speaker 7 (11:54):
Him becoming the athletic director here, he's had a relationship
with all of these coaches. And I've had conversations with
a lot of people there on campus, and yes, I
think from the naysayers and the folks looking from the
outside in may have felt, well, we.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
Need a football guy.

Speaker 7 (12:10):
You know what, what we need is leadership and people
who are great at developing relationships and having a cohesive group.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
And that was that's what Brian's strengths were. I mean,
the idea and I've heard this and I've mintioned this
to others. It's like, are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (12:27):
Silani and Brian are really really, really good friends. Yes,
they have professional responsibilities, but this hire from a whether
it's personal or public view.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
Is something that I know that Kilani was a big
part of and that relationship. And so you.

Speaker 7 (12:46):
Know, obviously people that are looking in and not really
understanding what's going on. It is first and foremost, Brian
made it clear, this is a football school. Football drives
the whole everything of that athletic department. He understands that,
and Klania understands that. And so for folks looking inside
and wondering if he can lead a ship that where

(13:07):
football drives, and yes, of course he does.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
He knows that he been doing it.

Speaker 7 (13:11):
For, you know, in that athletic department for twenty five
plus years. He's fully aware of how important football is,
how important it is to other sports, and the revenue
that is produced and developed and you know, from nil
monies to just development, whatever it might be. Brian has
always understood that. He made it pretty clear in his

(13:33):
press conference. And then I know Klan and Brian both
very well and they're on the same page.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Love that perspective.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Steve Cleveland here on ESPN the Fan, what makes you
optimistic that Brian can level up, can maintain even what
Tom Homer was able to accomplish as the ad at BYU, Well,
why do you think, why are you optimistic about by
athletics not only in the present but in the future
under the guid and some leadership of Brian Santiago.

Speaker 5 (14:05):
Well, first of all, you know, following the lights of
Tom Homo would be difficult for anyone, yep.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
I mean Tom obviously was a football guy, but he
was way more than a football guy. I've had some
wonderful conversations and developed a relationship with Tom, and he
gets it, He understands and he knows what's important. He
knows what drives this thing. But Tom and Brian have
been around each other for a long time, and I

(14:37):
think people need to understand that when you have that
kind of a relationship. Certainly Brian has grown and developed
from being mentored by Tom for a long time. Tom
came in right at the time that I kind of left.
By you, I had a chance to get to know him,
but I knew him from before and then. I've certainly
had many conversations with him, and there's never been time

(15:00):
that I've talked to Tom in terms of course he
wouldn't do this anyway, but I've never heard him be
involved in conversations where you know, whether it's Brian or
anybody else in that athletics staff.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
I mean, he was such a great leader.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
Brian watched him for years and became a confidence and
a good friend and there's a trust there and so
when people kind of look at this thing and realize, well,
we needed a football guy and so forth.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
You know what, if they had picked the football game
and who over that would have been, everybody would have
got behind him and so horridy.

Speaker 7 (15:34):
But I don't think anybody on that staff, and I
don't know if it's twenty five, twenty six, twenty seven
years of Brian's been working at BUYU and working closely
with Tom, that they would think that there was anything.
But we're going to continue to drive this thing with
football with a tension to detail with you know, women's sports,

(15:56):
men's sports.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
The whole gambage, all mens and women's. I just I
just believe Brandon has been so prepared for this that
even though he's been in the background.

Speaker 7 (16:07):
I think sometimes people watch and feel like, you know,
every decision is made by the ad and every decision
is made by the president of the school.

Speaker 5 (16:13):
That's just not the case. I mean, you need quality people.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
And if anybody has a perspective on BYU other than
maybe Tom Homo, Brian Spantiago hasn't. And I certainly, as
I've watched him and grow and matur Yes, he does
have that Puerto Rican passion and he's.

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Got a grid about him.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
But at the end of the day, when it's all
said and done, nobody on that campus has better relationships
than the student athletes than Brian Santiago.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
No one.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
He's better ad or a better golfer. I heard he's
elite at both.

Speaker 5 (16:47):
He's a good player. He hits for the time and
I haven't played with him lately, and because I'm not
getting any younger either.

Speaker 7 (16:53):
But at the end of the day, in our early years,
when I played golf and Brian was picking it up,
you know, he hit four hundred yard drives, but wasn't
quite sure if things are going. I understand now he's
probably around a six handicap, so my handicap.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Seems to be going.

Speaker 7 (17:09):
I think now I'm at about a ten ten point five,
but I'm trending towards more like eleven or twelve. So
but but be can't play the game, and he's going
to find out that he has less time for those
things than he did in the past.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
No doubt about it.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I do want to discuss with you the BYU basketball roster,
what your expectations are for twenty twenty five, they picked
up a bevy of talent.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
I mean goodness, gracious, this is.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
A talent top to bottom that we've never seen at
BYU and so obviously AJ's a headliner, but Richie Saunders
is I think the face and leader of the program.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Robright the thirties picked up.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
You picked up also Dominique Diamande from you dub you
discuss Kennard Davis Junior, who was also picked up. There's
some great retention as well from the prior squad last year.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
With me Heilo Bucketviitch.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
I like him as a stretch four, Stretch five guy.
There's some really good players. What's the expectation going into
twenty twenty five for you?

Speaker 5 (18:14):
Oh, I think it's not going to be anything less
than a sweet sixteen, and I think they have the
ability to go beyond that.

Speaker 7 (18:21):
The really cool thing is I spent a couple hours
this morning at the about an hour and a half
at UIUS practice. They are allowed practice days in the summer,
and so I had a chance to spend a little
bit of time with Coach Young and some of the
other assistants and some of the former players, and I
had a chance to meet aj today don't I've had
I don't have a relationship with him, but I watched

(18:42):
him play for about ninety minutes and you know, you
look at what's coming back in Baker, Saunders, Boskovich, Kita, Kylezlowski.
He was really shooting it well and he really hasn't
had an opportunity. But you know, he need for him
to really make it impact on this team.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
He needs to be a forty percent three point shooting guy.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
But you know, you mentioned some of the names, and
I think that one of the things I like is
I don't know a lot about.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
These guys like Davis from Southern Oldmois.

Speaker 7 (19:14):
I like the fact you're bringing in somebody that's a
junior that's played a lot of games, and.

Speaker 5 (19:20):
It's not a freshman. It's it's a junior who's played
and demonstrated that he can play.

Speaker 7 (19:26):
You mentioned Diamonde, he was, he's a freshman, he's young,
he's coming from Washington.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
I don't know a lot.

Speaker 7 (19:33):
I think Tyler Marius, I'm not sure how he pronounces
his name, but he's the guy that scored. And you say, well,
I don't how can anybody have an impact from Idaho.
I'll tell you what, you go through a red shirt year.
You know, you play for two or three years and
you grow and you get stronger, and all of a sudden,
he's completely different guy than when he was eighteen, and

(19:55):
they get him ready.

Speaker 5 (19:56):
And I talked to.

Speaker 7 (19:57):
Coach you on today about that, you know, and he said,
you know, the thing that we have that we have
some it's gonna be you know, it's gonna be tough
for anybody to kind of break into this thing, especially
if they're young and don't have quite the experience. But
but certainly, you know, getting Robert right from Baylor was
a huge thing, and you know they're gonna there'll be

(20:18):
a backup point guard. And and I'm I think a
j watching him play today. I think he likes the
ball in his hands. That might be something they have
to work through a little bit. But Robert Wright has
done it at the highest level. And he's hurt right
now and he'll be back in a month or so.
But certainly the talent is there. From what I watched today,

(20:40):
the energy, the execution, I mean, it's it's it's.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Early summer, you know, uh, late spring, and what I.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
Saw today gets me excited about a Sweet sixteen and
from there, you know what, if they're healthy, they continue
to improve. This is a team that it wouldn't be
a surprise that they got to a final later a
final four. I'm not saying that's going to happen because
it's tough. I mean, you know, that's that's the thing is,
you never know what could happen.

Speaker 5 (21:07):
An injury or two.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
Here things happen, and you know where everybody's hoping for,
you know, maybe a final leader of a Final four
and get to that place after going in the first
year at getting of the sweet sixteen. But I think
we have to be patients still and just kind of
see how this evolves and see what the health of
the players are, who develops and maybe somebody who's going
to be replaced in that lot with some of the

(21:29):
new players.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
But this this staff. I had the privilege of talking
to coach.

Speaker 7 (21:34):
Young today for a few minutes, and there is no
question in my mind, this is exactly throw away all
the amazing things that this team did. He just has
a perspective, and he's young, you know, he's in his
early forties. He's been around the NBA game. It was
just fun talking to him today. And obviously my perspective

(21:56):
is very different from being a high school coach and
a junior college coach and begin Division one coach, and
but there's a lot of similarities. We've got friends and
have connections that that we have together that I didn't
even know. But that's what the that's what the game does.
You meet new people and you're influenced by people. And uh,

(22:17):
I mean, the practice was amazing.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
It falls.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
I mean, it's May and he had the guys going
and some of them are brand new on campus and
a few are still waiting to go to summer school
and stuff.

Speaker 5 (22:29):
But I love what's happening, and it's.

Speaker 7 (22:33):
You know, they've got some guys that can play multiple players, uh.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
And AJ's the guy can do that.

Speaker 7 (22:39):
He can go inside, he can take guys off the dribble,
he can shoot the three, and that that you know,
that's a really good thing. But it will take an
entire coaching staff and some of that senior leadership that
they have in the program to make sure everybody's on
on the same page. We know Aj is not only
going to be here a year, okay, and he wants

(23:01):
to be in the NBA and he has all the
right goals, and he has the work ethic. I saw
nothing today that didn't tell me that this kid is
he's choking it all in. He's like a sponge and
he's listening, and he's making corrections and he's doing the things,
and all.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
The while the whole world.

Speaker 7 (23:17):
Is telling him how good he is, and you know,
all the things that's surrounds around great players like this.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
But he seemed to me very crownded. You know.

Speaker 7 (23:24):
He came over, you know when I got there, and
immediately can't really introduced himself to me. And I was
just kind of sitting there leaning on a wall, and
so I told me a little bit about who he
is and what his character is.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Love that perspective, coach.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Appreciate you hopping on to discuss b side the basketball team,
the future of the athletic department and screenshot. I'm telling
you promo golf a parrel. You got a screenshot what
you like online and I'll see what type of care
package we can put for put together for you.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
All right, Hey, that's great, man, No matter what.

Speaker 7 (23:59):

Check it out at Babcock Hoops and Babcock babcockhoops dot com.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Matt, how thatck are you, buddy?

Speaker 4 (26:22):
I'm doing I'm doing great.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
You know.

Speaker 8 (26:23):
I was in Chicago with the NBA Draft combine all
last week and back home and just catch it up
on some stuff.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
But thanks, thanks for having me again.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
Yeah, kind of breakdown for us over the over the
last week and a half, maybe two weeks, what your
day to day operational work has has looked like.

Speaker 8 (26:41):
Yeah, you know, so throughout the year, I mean I
spent a lot of time watching film, traveling around, watching
a lot of games, doing a lot of research, pretty
similar as an NBA scout. And you know this time
of year, we we started turn the page and it's
you know the bulk of these evaluations on these prospects.
I'd say like ninety percent of it is done. Now
this last ten percent we're just trying to round it out. However,

(27:03):
this last ten percent is it's critical. You know, it's
the medical information, it's background, intel and then also intel,
just the league of figuring out who likes who and
kind of you know, as we kind of go through it, figuring.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Out what these guys draft ranges are.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Yeah, it's uh, it's always intriguing to me, right to
see you know, I think for the most part, you know,
scouts have these guys pagged from a pretty early age, right, Like,
like I remember talking with a major league draft scout
and he's like, Ben, we know who's like ninety nine
percent of the time, we know who the guys are

(27:39):
gonna be, who the dudes are going to be by
probably like the age of like fifteen sixteen. We just
know they're the outliers, right the the the individuals that
progress rapidly. Maybe later on, but more often than not,
they kind of know what's cooking. Is that tried and
true as well with NBA prospects.

Speaker 8 (27:58):
You know, certain extent, I mean, we you know, we
all I'll start evaluating these guys when they're you know,
fifteen sixteen years old, I see it more is just
kind of set on a baseline and sort of you know,
starting the process, you know, but in basketball specifically, you know,
I do think, you know, your physical tools is a
big part of of you know, sort of like a
prerequisite to be an NBA prospect, and the difference in

(28:20):
these guys' bodies and a lot of times when they're
fifteen sixteen to now being eighteen, nineteen twenty or older
sometimes can be pretty dramatic.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
And then obviously, you know, we look at.

Speaker 8 (28:28):
Everything as far as just you know, sort of the
day to day, year to year trajectory changes, so you know,
we you know, there's not usually a whole lot of
hidden gems anymore, but there is a you know, differentiation
with you know, where the guys kind of rank among
their peers on a yearly basis.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Let's discuss the trajectory of Yegor Demon Moscow product goes
to Real Madrid, develops there, he's promulgated as as a
lottery pick as he comes to the States and integrates
with Kevin Young. B YU program had his ups and
downs at b YU, but the ups occurred maybe when

(29:08):
it mattered most in the n C Double A Tournament
and prior right right before the n C Double A Tournament.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Give me your.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
Perspective about where his draft stock began and where it's
at currently.

Speaker 4 (29:20):
Yeah, I mean I think I think he hit the
nail on the head.

Speaker 8 (29:22):
I mean, you know, the season was, you know, a
lot of ups and down and uh, you know, I
was keeping a firm pulse and I was actually at
their their season opener, uh in Provo, and uh, you
know that that first stretch, I mean, he he was terrific,
and you know, the draft community really really just kind
of went went crazy about him, myself included, and I
think at a certain point, I mean everybody was expecting

(29:44):
him to be a lock to be a top five pick. Obviously,
the injury happened, came back, they got into Big twelve
play and he struggling, and uh, you know, really, you know,
I think a lot of us, again myself included, really
kind of pumped the brakes. Uh, and then he you know,
I think he kind of became a victim of his
own early hype. And I think what's happening now is

(30:04):
he finished the season strong, and I think the pre
draft process so far is going very well. I mean
measured well. I've heard his interviews are going well. I
was at his pro day. He shot the heck out
of the ball, and so it's just, you know a
lot of things kind of coming together, I think, giving
him momentum.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
At the at the right time.

Speaker 8 (30:23):
And you know, it does feel just having you know,
conversations with with other NBA people and just sort of connecting.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
The dots on my own.

Speaker 8 (30:31):
Uh, that does feel like he has momentum to to
really kind of have a market going into the draft
to be a likely lottery pick.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
So that's that's kind of where I'm at now.

Speaker 8 (30:38):
I mean, I think we're all kind of doing, you know,
a lot of work to kind of you know, really
pinpoint everything.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
But he does seem like on an upward trend right now.

Speaker 9 (30:48):
Matt, with what you brought up earlier, just about how
you see these guys differently between the combine and in
season and those things. When YU fans see a video
of jegor demon at his hitting something like sixteen or
seventeen threes in a row in that Star Drail or
improved shooting at the Combine, I guess how much stock

(31:09):
do you really put into that given what you saw
him do during the season on a basketball court versus
actual teams, versus how a guy is able to shoot
on air at the combine, you know.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
I mean, personally, I'm not a huge fan of one
on zero workouts or these pro days. I mean, you know,
it really is geared to make the guys look good,
you know, And but you know, at the same time,
you know, we've all evaluated this point.

Speaker 4 (31:33):
Yeah, you were quite a bit, and we've all seen.

Speaker 8 (31:35):
The flashes of him to be able to shoot in
I think in this up and down year, you know,
I mean, I think it probably took a major toll
on him from a mental standpoint, which you know, shooting
is so so much of a mental.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
Game, and I just I don't know, it gave me more.

Speaker 8 (31:49):
Confidence seeing him hit shots like that, because I mean
it wasn't like he shot the ball, okay, I mean
he shot the lights out and so.

Speaker 4 (31:55):
That that to me, even though I'm not, you know, one.

Speaker 8 (31:58):
That puts a whole lot of stock in these works outs,
I did think that was noteworthy. And you know the
other stuff too. I mean, I mean he looked good physically.
I think he's already taken steps to add weight which
I thought was a big part of his issues when
when he came back and earlier, if I remember, for
early issues in January, were really struggled with physicality of
being BYU's primary ball handler. And so, you know, again

(32:21):
myself and I think a lot of people in the
NBA are kind of taking the same same steps, have
kind of put it all together, you know, and and
sort of projecting what he'll be a few years from now,
not not necessarily what he is today.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
And so I think, you know, the idea is.

Speaker 8 (32:34):
Okay, there are some issues, there are some question marks,
but can he address these things?

Speaker 4 (32:38):
And my confidence level is pretty high on all fronts.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Where do you place him at right now? Where's the need?
Where does he fit in this draft? Is he going
to be kind of one of those best available guys
that that organization is going to take, or do you
see maybe more of a fit a need maybe as
a backup point guard, combo guard that he'll end up
you know, aligning with in this draft process.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
You know, I think it's interesting.

Speaker 8 (33:05):
I mean, we've got, you know, a little over a
month until the draft, and I think jegor is is
Uh is naturally becoming somewhat polarizing because it does seem,
at least from a public perception, that his range is wide.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
But you know, one thing, you know, I kind of
see with him.

Speaker 8 (33:21):
You know, if i'm if I'm his Asian or from
Yeager's camp, I'm you know, optimistic for a few reasons.
All the momentum, you know that that I mentioned before,
but also he's very versatile, and even though a lot
of these NBA people general managers will lean on, uh,
you know, hey, best player available, I think it's kind
of a deflection to to to a question, to be
honest with you, because I see it more as best

(33:42):
player available for what they have in place and what
they're trying to do. And I do think there needs
to be a pathway for success for these prospects, and
with jeg Or, you really can pencil them into so
many different spots because he's you know, he's a six'
nine uh perimeter. PLAYER i, MEAN i don't think he
needs to be penciled in as a point. Guard in,
FACT i actually like him more as a versable point,

(34:03):
forward sort of like a three to two. One and
with that, SAID i think it kind of creates a
lot of different pathways for success BECAUSE i, mean he
provides a lot of lineup flexibility and can really play
with a lot of different types of, players which which
makes him.

Speaker 4 (34:16):
Unique and especially if you're.

Speaker 8 (34:18):
And that's where the outside, shooting you, know if he's
able to give people more confidence long, term you know
with his, SHOOTING i just think it just kind of
you creates a lot of a lot of pathways for
him to possibly succeed at the next.

Speaker 10 (34:33):
Level Matt Ron weaver, here obviously you Know yegor has
had a great combine and had just started to. Turn
you said that he can fit in. Anywhere it is
The Houston. ROCKETS i continue to look at that, team
who have the tenth overall selection in this year's, draft
with the free agents that they have coming up, with
maybe making an off season buzz for a, move maybe

(34:55):
like A Giannister Kevin durantyegor as a pass for Guy
Van leet is going to be a free agent ass alt.
Season is that a place where they could take that,
guy take a guy Like jegor who could fit into
that style of system being coached by a guy Like
could they steal a guy Like yegor in the draft
as a top ten.

Speaker 4 (35:11):
Pick, YEAH i MEAN i think that's an interesting.

Speaker 8 (35:14):
Fit and the one THING i like about that as
well is a Men thompson and you, know he's unique
in his, uh in his own. Right you, KNOW i
think he's a chance of being, uh you, know one
of the premier perimeter, defenders which would be an interesting
fit with Jeger we've got two guys that there are
great ball handlers and versatile but. DIFFERENT i mean a

(35:34):
man's an elite athlete defender And yegor is a special.
Playmaker and, again and it all comes goes back to
how much confidence do you have in him as a
shooter long? Term AND i think that's really gonna be
what swings teams one way or, another you, know just
how comfortable they are. There and you, know LIKE i,
Said i'm a glass half, full uh in regards To
yeager shooting long. Term SO i do like that fit

(35:57):
of him being a lottery. Pick AND i think there's
a number of teams in. There they're, young developing teams
that have sort of you, know a nice core base
of young guys that they're foreseeing for you, know developing
the next few. YEARS i do think mid late Lottery
jegorg fit a lot of those.

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Picks Matt Babcock babcock hoops here ON espn The fan
Discussing Yegor demon THE nba draft and where he, may,
uh you, know how how high can he? Go how
how far down we? Go you you mentioned that that that,
spectrum uh kind of a polarizing figure Is Yegor? Demon how?
High what's his? Ceiling what's his floor in THIS nba?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Draft do you? Think you?

Speaker 4 (36:39):
KNOW i, think, uh you, know late late mid late.

Speaker 8 (36:42):
LOTTERY i think it is is If i'm his, camp
that that's What i'm. TARGETING i think it's an attainable
range for him to. Get, OBVIOUSLY i think one really
unique one is he Got utah in. FIVE i mean
that would be you, know a very extreme high and
things the momentum would need to kind of continue and you,
know kind of creating levers for teams to feel the
pressure they need to take him higher than what they're

(37:04):
probably thinking right. Now BUT i, think you, KNOW i
Think brooklyn at, EIGHT i think that's an interesting. PICK
i think, realistically you, know eight to fourteen is sort
of a safe it's.

Speaker 4 (37:16):
Sort of high expectation range for him THAT i do
think is.

Speaker 3 (37:19):
Attainable one of the things That danny has done over the,
years it, seems is if he feels comfortable in getting
a talent that he that he likes by trading back
and getting a, pick he does.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
IT i wondered if that it's something that we.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Discussed we weren't all that certain that he would be
taken at, five but he draft, stock maybe he's, rising
maybe he feels a little bit of, pressure maybe sees
a fit long term in bringing In, yegor but also trading.
Back is there is there any play that you could
see happening in that.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
REGARD i, know you're.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
Not a pretty you, know a draft kind of specialist
in that regarded more of a, scout et.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Cetera but what do you see on that?

Speaker 8 (37:58):
Front you, KNOW i, MEAN i think those types of
things are you, know next to impossible to project at
this point that there will be a lot of conversations going.
On AND i do see there being a lot of,
trades that there's a few teams with multiple, picks and you,
KNOW i would highly doubt that they keep all the,
picks which naturally leads to. Trades but, yeah that kind

(38:21):
of goes back to WHAT i was, saying a lot
of this process right now is a lot of, people you,
know WITH nba, personnel guys like, Myself we're spend a
lot of, time you, know sharing information as far as
you know who likes who and where are the fits
because there there is a lot of chatter behind the
scenes as far as potential trades and. Whatnot and SO

(38:41):
i easily could See yegor and upon a team that
we're not even talking about right now because there will
be shakeups in the.

Speaker 3 (38:48):
Draft Matt, babcock ladies and gentlemen breaking it all down
here ON espn the, Fan matt looking at By u's
roster right, now are there other prospects we're gonna be
talking about maybe a year from, now apart FROM aj
To bonce and we know that he's a one and done.
Guy you could be the first pick overall next. Year

(39:09):
you can comment ON aj where you think he goes
after a year of? College and then who else do
you see on B yu men's basketball roster that that
the NBA's eye.

Speaker 4 (39:18):
In, yeah, OBVIOUSLY.

Speaker 8 (39:20):
AJ i mean he'll be one of the the you,
know the top guys for all of us to track
and monitor next, year AND i do think he'll, be you,
know at the very least in that top tier group
of players, drafted if not the number one, pick and
so they should be a really exciting year just just with.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Him alone FOR.

Speaker 8 (39:35):
Byu but you, know as you guys all, KNOW i
think the emergence Of Richie saunders this year was was
really really.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Incredible you. KNOW i went into the, season you, know.

Speaker 8 (39:46):
Liking him as a, prospect saw him more as a,
tough slashing wing and he just shot the ball so.
Well and the way the games played right, now especially
in THE, nba outside shooting comes out of premium and
so he's really kind of kind of change the narrative for.
Himself AND i think going into next season he's gonna
be pencilvan as a guy that we all need, to you,

(40:06):
know follow.

Speaker 4 (40:07):
Closely.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
YEAH i Like richie a, lot The Todd king as
we like to call him around these. PARTS i can't
wait to see what he can. Do what About Rob
right the? Third is there any buzz Around Rob Right
maybe a little, undersize but really really good college point.
Guard is he viewed as a possible pick you know
in the next year's, draft you.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
Think, yeah, no.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
DEFINITELY i, mean he's definitely gonna be a.

Speaker 8 (40:31):
One like when we go to these, games every scout
is gonna be writing him, up and he's gonna have
a great.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
Opportunity of vernet for. Himself you. Know i'm not one
to do these way too early mock. DRAFTS i don't
really know how he fits in the big scheme of things. Yet,
also we're waiting to see.

Speaker 8 (40:47):
Which kids are gonna be pulling out of this, draft
which could you, know obviously affect next year's draft.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
A lot as.

Speaker 8 (40:52):
Well but, YEAH i do think he's, relevant you, know
and a lot of it will just be see see
how he, progresses especially in this new system With, ky
which is going to run a lot OF nba type,
stuff WHICH i do think will be, good good For.

Speaker 3 (41:06):
Rob are you getting a feeling On Darien. Williams is
he gonna stay stay in the draft or is?

Speaker 5 (41:12):
He is he?

Speaker 2 (41:13):
BOUNCING i don't know if he's declared one way or
or another.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
Yet, YEAH i don't think he's.

Speaker 8 (41:18):
DECIDED i, mean he's been dealing with some schools or
his agents ARE i heard he's asked for a boatload of.
Money we'll see if any of these schools come up with,
it or if he lowers his price this. Week but
the early, entry which we're all, deadline Is.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
May twenty, Eight So i've got.

Speaker 8 (41:34):
That i've got that date circled right now because that
will be very telling of what the second round is
going to look like this.

Speaker 9 (41:40):
Year, matt it feels like Aj debontsa when you look
at the way. Too earlies is just undisputed number. One
he's been number one overall in high school for a long.
Time are there things for you when you analyze him
that you specifically would like to see things that he
maybe could?

Speaker 2 (41:57):
Improve or does this guy just have no weaknesses this?

Speaker 4 (42:00):
Season, YEAH i mean check so many.

Speaker 8 (42:02):
BOXSS i see him more of a, guy you, know
even though he doesn't have any glaring.

Speaker 4 (42:07):
WEAKNESSES i like to see him just get better all
the way.

Speaker 8 (42:09):
AROUND i, mean we're you, know We're this is the
tricky part of evaluating a guy when he's, fifteen, sixteen
seventeen years.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
Old you know that that they're there always is room for.

Speaker 8 (42:19):
GROWTH i, mean including this year With Cooper flag who's
who's just eighteen and this is this is an elite.
Prospect BUT i mean you were really trying to, project you,
know what this guy is going to be probably in
four or five years from, now you, Know and so
it's a it's a tricky. Deal AND i do Think
aj falls into that category Of, hey his physical tools

(42:39):
as well around a skill, set that's what makes him
an elite.

Speaker 4 (42:42):
Prospect but he's far from from.

Speaker 8 (42:44):
Being a finished, product and so it was more of
just he's just got to get better at basketball all
the way.

Speaker 3 (42:48):
Around, matt appreciate you hopping on as. Always what's the
best way to support you what you, do how you
do it for all of our.

Com we're getting into camp. SEASON i have fond memories

(46:13):
OF byu camps EF y and basketball and football.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
Camps those are the ones THAT i. Attended. Uh they were.

Speaker 3 (46:23):
Tremendous and we're getting into camp season right. NOW i
think The fathers And sons camp is starting us, off
If i'm not. Mistaken but summer camps for football you
can experience firsthand HOW byu football builds individual greatness while
you learn winning football skills in a comfortable college environment

(46:45):
unlike any other in the.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
World join us.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
This Summer june second through, fourth twenty twenty. Five june
ninth through the, eleven twenty twenty, five there's a seven
on seven Camp june, seventh twenty twenty, five and then
especially teams camp On june. Eleventh you can register AT
byu sportscamps dot com or call EIGHT o one four
two two five seven two. Four that's EIGHT a one

(47:10):
four two two five seven two four e F.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
Y that was a great. ONE i came in to
The do you guys remember joy in The? Journey?

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Here in That joy in the? Journey that was the
uh that was the theme of my EF. Y all, right,
OKAY i think this was let's say probably ninety, nine two,
thousand maybe two thousand once somewhere around.

Speaker 9 (47:32):
There that's incredible that you can remember, that because it's
been less yer SINCE i went to e F y
three times AND i don't remember any of. Them so
either you were better more holy THAN i, was or
you got a better memory THAN i, do one of the,
two if not.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
BOTH i will say.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
This about EF. Y i was actually surprised at how
aggressive The daughter's design. WERE i was expecting to come
up here to TF y and just have a spiritual,
experience WHICH i, did BUT i was like they were pretty,
aggressive you.

Speaker 11 (47:59):
Know define aggressive.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
Aggressive like it was, like, LIKE i, Mean i'm From.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
Arizona, right there's some aggressive ladies down there in high
school and things like. That but like WHEN i came
WHEN i came up, HERE i was, Like, okay not
gonna have to deal with aggressive, women aggressive daughter. Design
but they were aggressive, Anyway that's neither here nor. THERE
i did have a beautiful experience AT fy and the
joy in the. Journey it was fantastic AND i was spiritually.

Speaker 4 (48:26):
Fed it was.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
Awesome Uh but football and basketball camp growing. Up MY
i went to one basketball. CAMP i WISH i would
have gone to it in high. SCHOOL i would have been.
Fantastic BUT i went to it like in like seventh.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
Grade it was.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Tremendous it was awesome getting coached up at that time
by the CURRENT uau basketball, players LIKE i DIDN'T i
didn't know who they were at the. Time i'll be,
HONEST i had no. Idea but it was just An
it was an amazing. Experience it was. AWESOME i loved
every bit of. It AND i actually stayed with a
family friend here locally because his son was also, attending
SO i got to do that, too and that was a,

(48:58):
great like summer camp.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Experience these are.

Speaker 3 (49:01):
Core memories for Youth so the football camp was probably
the most impactful core memory THAT i, have getting coached
up by Coach Brian Mitchell reno mahe got to See
Luke staley and we won the seven on seven, championship

(49:21):
and you, KNOW i was able to take home a
few individual awards as, Well DEFENSIVE mvp of The camp
and then THE mvp of the of the.

Speaker 2 (49:30):
Cornerbacks it was. Awesome it was.

Speaker 3 (49:32):
Tremendous SO i invite everybody if you have not participated
in one of these sports, camps the Father Son, camp
The Individual.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
Sports or EF, y you need To you need to
get your kids out here.

Speaker 3 (49:44):
Because they are. Transcendent they are. Monumental it was as
spiritual and spiritually fruitful as well as temporarily. FRUITFUL i
know you attended EF Y bred always bringing the. Hammer
it was great for you as.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
Well, Right.

Speaker 6 (49:57):
YEAH i went to EF y a few times in
AND i don't even remember SO i. WENT i think
that we WERE i think all the ONES i went
to WHERE svu BECAUSE i lived IN dc and Then.
Pennsylvanian so both times we just went down to sv
and sv was cool because it was like.

Speaker 9 (50:12):
It was like almost B. Yu it was like almost
a church, school like basically a church, school but it's.
Not my fondest memory of e F y had nothing
to do with the monumental spirit THAT i felt. There
SO i don't know if you guys know, this BUT
svu has a basketball, team and.

Speaker 11 (50:31):
Look it.

Speaker 9 (50:31):
IS i don't know what division they're, in but it's
certainly Not division one, anyway it's not super. Official there
was the only basketball court there at e F y
was was the f was THE svu basketball, Court and
so we're playing there and a bunch of the players
showed up and we were, like, oh, sorry like y'all
can have the court or, whatever because obviously they're the

(50:51):
team and we're.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
Not and they, said, no we'll play for. It and,
Look i'm they're they're.

Speaker 9 (50:56):
A college basketball, team not going to pretend like they
could Beat alabama or. Anything but my fondest memory OF
vfy was thinking that we were gonna get killed by
this college basketball. Team AND i think there were there's
like five of us sixteen year olds nice And i'm
happy and proud to say that my fondest memory A
vfy was beating a college basketball team eleven to. Three

(51:17):
AND i may get that number tattooed on me someday
because THAT i Will this was like eight years.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
AGO i will never probably.

Speaker 9 (51:24):
Ten years, ago never forget the score that we be
on a college basketball. Team they didn't have the, size
otherwise they probably would have bodied. Us BUT i MEAN
i was, Like i'm with the HEIGHT i am now
that's WHEN i stopped. Growing so uh, yeah we cooked
the college basketball. Team and nobody has to ask what
division it, was but we cooked the college basketball team that.

Speaker 2 (51:43):
Day that's What i'm talking. About so it's kind of
a sports.

Speaker 9 (51:46):
Camp it was a EF y and a sports camp
at the same, time just not a be a sports.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
CAMP i can dig.

Speaker 4 (51:51):
IT i love, It.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
RONNIE i got some fond. MEMORIES i do got some fond.

Speaker 10 (51:55):
Memories obviously the EF. Y i'm looking at the pitchers
all right. Now been on The facebook back when you were.
Kids when you THINK i remember calling ourselves the, AVENGER i.

Speaker 8 (52:03):
WAS i.

Speaker 11 (52:06):
WAS i was only black kid. There let's give it the.
Buck you were, yoked, Bro like it was way back
in the.

Speaker 10 (52:13):
DAY i had the little you, KNOW i wore a
headband all the time to keep the sweat out of
my head.

Speaker 11 (52:17):
Because when you're a. Brother sometimes a, son you, know
gets on.

Speaker 2 (52:20):
You so we were The.

Speaker 10 (52:22):
AVENGERS i wasn't. Curious it was not my idea to
be The, avengers BUT i embraced the role. Nonetheless, uh
looking at this, bend you know baseball camps back when
they had the old baseball on the mound throwing, pitches you,
know way. Before and here's the best. PART i knew
THE bau basketball team back in the day before they.

(52:42):
Knew AND i didn't remember this until my wife actually
brought this. Up we were going through the. Pictures she's,
like you, know you took a picture Of Charles bull, Right, like,
NO i. Didn't he was, like you took a picture Of.
Tyler she's, like you don't remember? That Like, max like With,
mike with With Max all and those. Crew i'm not
like my, call like how you got a chants to
meet the team like because of connection AND i can't

(53:02):
remember what the connection has. Been But, ben this is
Little RON i kid you. Not this is Like I'M
i watched him play pick up when they were playing
in The richards. Building this picture is on My, Facebook
Like i'm not even. SERIOUS i need to see If
Travis hanson's on this. Team this is what this is two,
thousand it's twenty. Twelve oh, wow this Is july twenty.

(53:23):
Twelve There's Charles abujo And tyler right in the. Middle
and that's, Me, like how comfortable you are by the way?

Speaker 11 (53:30):
Out everything. Come i've always Been you're not. Afraid i've
always been a manic at. All, look this is everybody
like the summer, guys the guys back in the.

Speaker 4 (53:40):
Day so this was this is.

Speaker 10 (53:42):
Crazy you. Know mike call was the one that took this.
Picture so, YEAH i remember doing. It ben the Old
marriott with the brown back in the word was like
a gold it used to look like when they were.

Speaker 11 (53:55):
Renovating so it, was, uh it was.

Speaker 10 (53:57):
That and THEN i forget about this, pictures but you,
know took pictures with the, lady with the lady. Friends
of course you know it was. Ladies, man can't forget
about that. Too gonna have to actually go to lead
somebody to clear this. Out but, no, uh the camps
WERE i think the camp set the foundation not only
for WHAT i learned and WHAT i, believed but it
set the tone THAT i think all kids need to

(54:18):
go to a camps BECAUSE i love my, parents, right
they did the best to sacrifice to put me in
positions WHERE i am. Today you don't want to show
who you are around your parents when you're, like that's
just how it, is. Right you want to be with your.
Friends you want to be your own. Person AND i
felt LIKE i could be my own, person not only you, know,
temporally but also. SPIRITUALLY i felt LIKE i was able

(54:39):
to say my own, testimony BECAUSE i, mean, yeah you
go to church with your, parents BUT i felt like
he gave me an opportunity to spread The gospel on
my own way and create my own.

Speaker 11 (54:48):
Testimony.

Speaker 10 (54:48):
RIGHT i, REMEMBER i think the highlight of all the
e f wyles is one, year because you, know you
do the stupid crush of the, week the cow, thing
and then like right on the pizza box of one
thing and SOMEONE i think my second to last ear
why someone a row ron as a spiritual giant and
he'll take that onto his. Mission AND i just thought
that was, like, yeah, whatever, okay but LIKE i still

(55:11):
have that actually in my, house like that old pizza cardboard, box,
right because that was a reminder that someone else noticed
that light and in THIS i do you have the
other group of.

Speaker 11 (55:21):
People so all the girls do, it all the guys
do it.

Speaker 10 (55:23):
It let me know that a group of sixteen seventeen
year old girls THOUGHT i was very spiritual during that,
week and that always stuck with. Me right of people
are always, watching people always see, interactions right and that,
foundation and he gave me an opportunity to interact with
other people and what they thought of.

Speaker 11 (55:39):
Me so those camps can.

Speaker 10 (55:40):
Be, very very. Powerful SO i hope this send my
kids one, day but, yeah you need to get your
kids out, there and sometimes that's where you get offers.
TOO a lot To bay football players have gotten offers
at those. Camps so if you want to get, offered,
man you gotta come to be where you camp as.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
Well there's plenty of CAMPS Bwaeyu, sportscamps dot, com, baseball, basketball, Cheer,
Cosmocamps cougar red cross Country cubs, camps, diving fathers, camps, anything,
football girl dad, camp, golf gymnastiks with, ross, rugby, soccer,
softball strength and, conditioning, swimming, tennis track and field of.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
VOLLEYBALL i THINK i Think.

Speaker 3 (56:14):
Brian Oversaw brian something other than now that the director
of athletics as deputy A.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
D i think he oversaw pretty much all the.

Speaker 11 (56:21):
Camps i'm pretty sure as. Well so BECAUSE i didn't See,
TOM i would see.

Speaker 2 (56:25):
Him i'm wondering who's gonna take that.

Speaker 11 (56:27):
OVER i, mean he's talked about and we're to me
he's going. In we're.

Speaker 10 (56:32):
Promotion DEPUTY d will not be, ANNOUNCED i don't, THINK
i think from what he, said and if he's gonna
stay true to, that it's Between Chad lewis And Liz
darker or does he goes split the, rolls Does chad get?
Football Does liz oversee the? Camps this will be a
PHENOMENAL i think it overseen. That she already has done
phenomenal things WITH byu and being an advocate in The Big.

Speaker 11 (56:51):
Twelve, right we saw her she was traveling With March
madnis doing. Stuff so do you Let Liz darger oversee?

Speaker 5 (56:56):
That?

Speaker 11 (56:56):
RIGHT i think it's between those two who's going to
be over the.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Camps it'll be.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
INTERESTING i MEAN i could See brian going even outside of,
that bringing in his, guys his, people and maybe upsetting
the apple cart a little. BIT i think he could
probably bring in someone that we're not talking about right.

Speaker 2 (57:15):
NOW i don't. Know if we're gonna go status. Quo
maybe we, will maybe we.

Speaker 11 (57:18):
WON'T i would say student's word if he if he's
gonna go by, That, yeah.

Speaker 3 (57:22):

Right that's WHY i bring it.
