(00:59):

probably doing a little rehab, little little things here and there,
so it's hard to install. We're gonna we're gonna talk

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I don't know if you know this. Yeah, yeah, crazy,
it's crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:34):

Speaker 3 (01:34):
The thirty one flavors logo was introduced back in nineteen
fifty three to market the idea to come up to
customers as a new flavor every day of the month.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
What's up, man?

Speaker 5 (02:08):
I have a.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Grammar question for you, Ben. Is it pletora or pletora?

Speaker 6 (02:15):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Plethora? Plethora?

Speaker 6 (02:19):
Sorry because I think I've always pronounced pletora, but I
guess that's the Brazilian in me, and so.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Okay, all right, well today, okay, it's plethora, all right.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Yeah, at least in English you can say pleatora though.
I'm down with that. I know what you mean.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
I know what you mean.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
So it's all about understanding each other. It doesn't matter
how you say it.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I understood.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
Hey.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
We all speak the language of the Lord, and the
Lord speaks all languages, so.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
There you go. That works, okay, believe you.

Speaker 8 (02:50):
Know, because he created all all of his brothers and sisters,
all of his children, all creatures.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Of our god kings. Here there up your voice and
with her sing and speak the language.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
All right.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
So at number one, let's talk about my nephew, your son,
bucket Getter.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I mean, goodness, gracious, dude, this guy's good. He's very nice.

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Uh yeah, he uh he works really hard, you know.
He uh, he loves the game. He obviously he saw me.
Uh you know, we were in Italy too, he was
almost eight, and uh he saw my games live and.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
He would go to the gym with me, work out,
get shots up.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
And you know, obviously he started playing from a very
young age, doing little practices when we were in Italy.
He loves the game, and uh, I try to make
him a baseball player because you know, some of these
baseball contracts are outrageous. And uh, the last at all
but half of us summer when he was like, I
never want to play basketball.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
A gain in my life.

Speaker 6 (03:48):
Actually took him to a ac Milan practice academy.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
One of the years that we were in Italy, and
that was that was.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Also short lived when he said, Dad, he passes me
the ball, I'm never having fun.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
And uh, you know, and I.

Speaker 9 (04:05):
Believe it or not, we're actually looking to getting him
in karate and you know, UFC fighting and everything, because
he was a little bit.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
A little bit of violent I was younger, but basketball.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Remained his love and and he works really really hard,
right you know, every morning we're in a gym, he
works in his ball handling and uh.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
And the crazy thing is, as you see from you know,
I posted a video recently.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
He is much more of a passer. He has court vision.
He he literally sees all around and uh, you know,
yes he scores and he's got a nice a nice
three point shot.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
But you know, the uh, the Brazilian bomber is not
going to be lived with him.

Speaker 9 (04:45):
He's not gonna continue that tradition because I was a
gunner and he is more of a lover and passer.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
And you know, but it's fun and it's fun.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
That he gets in and and that he enjoys the game,
and you know, he's developed, he's developing a lot. I
I think I shared with you on private, but a
lot of people know because he's in your European citizen
like me. We've had a couple of different programs and
teams from from Italy, from Spain reached out to my

(05:14):
wife and I and invite him to go and be
a part of their academy, to move there starting.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
With this summer.

Speaker 6 (05:20):
You know, he turns thirteen, going into middle school. But
it's just not something that my wife is keen off
right now. I would have shipped him a couple of
couple of years ago, but uh, you know, that's how
I that's how.

Speaker 9 (05:32):
I got to the US, you know, like I had
a dream and and I wanted it to come to
the very best place to develop.

Speaker 6 (05:39):
Obviously, you know, the fundamentals that you're learning Europe are
are second to none. And uh, you know, my wife
kind of challenged me a little bit and said, well,
let's have you teach him, you know, the fundamentals like
your mom taught him to the fundamentals. Now that my
mom is retired and she's spending a lot of time
here with us in Utah, she spends a lot of
time with him in the gym, and so you know,

(05:59):
it's worth can now so far and uh, but yeah,
it's it's fun.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
You know.

Speaker 9 (06:04):
And you will see when your little ones get a
little bit bigger and more into sports.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Uh, it's fun. And uh I try not to pressure him, right,
you know. And and and it is true.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
If he were to become, you know, the premiere by
the arena dancer for the New York Opera, I would
be on the front row cheering him, supporting him.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
If you wanted to play any other sports, I would
be there. You know. He chose basketball, and so my
wife and I would do everything that we can to
provide him all of the opportunities.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
You know, love that Brazilian bomber JT talking some ball
with us here on ESPN the fan, JT.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
We're we were down a little bit on guys.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Okay, there's you know, nothing serious, I don't think, but
just some Nick James bruises, et cetera. How difficult and
how important is it to get your install right schematically
in the off season, in the off season with so
many new faces, so many new personalities, so many new
skill sets.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
So I gotta tell you this is so different from
you know, even five years ago, from ten years ago,
let alone when you and I were in college together.

Speaker 4 (07:09):
Ben, if you remember, there were so many times that
you would.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Come over to the RB after after football workouts in
the summer and you would just come and watch us
play pick up and it was it was organized pick
up and and things are so much different now where
these guys have actual full on practice about four or
five times a week. And these are not just all

(07:35):
we're gonna do some drills and we're going I mean,
to your point, And you can clearly see this on
social media. They are playing full on, five on five,
high intensity like it's the middle of January, and so
I think just out of that you are going to
get some you know, some people are going to be
dinged up, some bang some bangs up and and and

(07:55):
you're gonna get paying and you're gonna get some soreness
and people are going to be called. Right the way
that everything is structured nowadays, if it's perfectly with the
whole Provo mentality and Kyu and and the way Kevin
Young and his staff are running things right, you have
live practices, you get about, you know, five hours a

(08:15):
week or so with the team, and it's incredible the
level of intensity. It's just as if they're practicing and
you know, the middle end of September when official practice starts,
and so you try to be cautious, you know, and
then you look at maybe sometimes Richie sits out or
aj or Rob Wright, and you know, it has been
interesting to see some of the guys that have constantly

(08:37):
being on the practice and the consistency they have, like
the Carnard Davis, the Dominique Diomantes. To see these guys
getting more and more comfortable, and then Kadeen also getting comfortable.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
He's three point shooting.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Uh These are all positive things that you look at
and you go, you know, you are building good habits
in July that will become a system habits in October
that will be coming grained into your repetition in January
February when things really start to count.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
And so but it's been interesting, and I think the social.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Media resence in terms of content, it is going through
the roof right now, right and to be able to
see the uncuts and and and the and the back
of a little bit on the behind the scenes of things.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
What an amazing time to.

Speaker 6 (09:28):
Be a BYU fan and be able to consume as
much content as possible. Ben I always joke around with
with Jerem Jordan and say, I said, jj I remember
when Buyu TV was a janitor's closet and you had
to do homework and put together a TV show, you know,
back to back and so uh, the way things have
evolved are great and but you know, but back to

(09:49):
your question, I think it's normal. I have a little
bit of a Hey, these guys are going to sit
out for a few days, which probably going to bring
up something that you're going to talk about the presence
of so many ear League players are doing practice right now.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Look, there's a lot of unique players going on right now,
unique players being implemented. A couple of guys that have
really stood out to me on the defensive end. Tyler
Moross and his athleticism. Looks like he's starting to to
get into the swing of things, getting his health right.
And there's a reason why they brought him in obviously,
And so he's elevating his stock a little bit here

(10:26):
and and I wouldn't be surprised if he sees an
uptick and pt from the projected not many people were
high on Tyler rust like, oh yeah, nice little pick
up whatever.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I think he may be more integral than we once thought.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
I'll be the first to raise my hand.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
You know, I wasn't very high on him, mainly because
I said, okay, great, we got a shooter, and you know,
how is he going to be able to contribute beyond that?
But to see the intensity that he has brought has
been an incredible sight. To see the way that Kevin
Young trust him and and and and his effort on defense.

Speaker 10 (11:03):
And know that's what I tell my my you know,
the boys, the seventh grade team that I coach, I said, look,
you can control the controllables, right, It is impossible that
you're going to come in and knock down every shot.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
You want to stay on the court and you want
to play for more minutes.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
For me, you need to just work super hard on
defense because the offense is going to come. But if
you are invaluable on defense, coaches won't keep you off
the floor.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
And you know, and Tyres has been, you know, the
poster child for this. His effort, uh, you know, his
willingness to just do whatever he takes. Nothing is too big,
you know, and nothing is too small. He would do
any job that's thrown at him.

Speaker 6 (11:46):
It's interesting to see Zach Sally is working out with
him because that was very much is Zach Salius.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
For the last two years of his career. He did
any dirty job.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
He took charges, he made date shots, and he was
never a prominent player. He never played a prominent role.
Zach was always the I'm gonna be the guy.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
That's going to just play my role. I'm gonna be
a role player and I'm gonna do whatever it takes
to win.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Didn't start many games, but was crucial and you know,
a shameful a shameful season that came to an end.

Speaker 9 (12:19):
Because of COVID because that team was primed for a
run and so but I very much see Tyras in
that role right, maybe not necessarily as a sniper as.

Speaker 4 (12:29):
As Trevin Nell was and shut off for Travin Nell.

Speaker 9 (12:34):
For stirring up a little bit of drama this week,
But you know, I think that to be able to,
you know, be also almost of defensive minded, you know,
does he you know, and Ron Weaver, you and I were.

Speaker 4 (12:47):
Talking about this a little bit.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
Does he evolved become I'm out with Meg, someone that
has the potential to do what Meg was doing?

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Is he gonna be able to handle that defensively?

Speaker 6 (12:58):
A lot of interesting questions get answered and not even
get answered, but they even get raised. When your stars
have to step out because of injury, because of soreness,
it give us a lot of talk about in the summertime,
in the off season.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
Yeah, j T, I'm interested to know about what you
brought up because I'm very high on Tyler. Had an opportunity,
you know, to run into him as I was leaving
campus taking care of some other BAU basketball business, and
it's a good dude wants to be here. Bought In
knows he's not going to get you know, fifteen shots
a game, and it's okay with that, and wants to

(13:35):
lock him. But him and Canard both, you know, I
love to see, you know, the battles, what's going to
go on. But Tyler Canard and Dominique. I'm interested to
see how those guys get a factor because when I
look at that game against Houston, JT in the game
that's probably gonna be played by ten guys. The defensive mentality,
those guys are going to play such a crucial role.

(13:57):
And I want you to speak to the level Kevin
ou just doesn't have shooting. He's got guys that can defend.
Because last year it wasn't that they played bad in
an Alabama game. Jimmer even mentioned that when you put
up with eighty eight points, that's enough to win a
college basketball game. It was the fact that they couldn't
get a stop and buy a bucket. So talk about
that because they got when I looked at this like
a month ago, six six six seven, six', nine they're

(14:18):
matching up in how they look At houston of the
team that they need to beat to win the big
Twelve championship in the same regard of you guys got
these long six foot six to six foot nine guys
that can rotate three to. Four we didn't have that last.
Year now we have, that.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
You.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
Know AND i think that's an interesting point that you bring,
up because what makes you win In.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
March makes you win In march is star. Power it's
a guard, play.

Speaker 6 (14:45):
Right maybe you have a transcendent big man like you,
know the kid From GONZAGA i forgot his name, now
the white guy that played with a head.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
Band that just dominated on the. Post have Some Drew
timmy thank.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
You or you have the really really really tall guy
that reminds me Of Walker castler that For kentucky he
was a dominant insight force for two. Years but, Again kentucky,
had you, know a couple of, guards including the guard that.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Went To New orleans whatever his name, is that shot
the leather off the.

Speaker 6 (15:20):
Ball and so To jimmer's, Point alabama beat D yu
Because alabama shot the absolutely nastic out of the.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Basketball.

Speaker 6 (15:30):
Right let's be realistic, here they were making a rain
in the middle of The Sahara.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Desert and so to your, POINT i think you, know
defense is going to be the key.

Speaker 9 (15:40):
HERE i think D yu's defense is going to be
locked in a jek spride on playing, Defense Robert wright.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Is you know the typical, uh you, know the typical.

Speaker 6 (15:51):
Point guard that is a nightmare to play against because
of his you, know physicality and. Quickness and then you
look At, richie who was arguably our best offence in
their last, year, RIGHT i mean along with With meg
and so.

Speaker 11 (16:03):
When you put all of that together and you Have
keva there to just spike volleyballs left and right with
blocks and Even Xavion, stanton, who by the, way THEN
i love to see.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
THE A j and Xavy on.

Speaker 6 (16:17):
Connection it feels like those guys are already speaking the same.
Language and SO i think it's a, phenomenal phenomenal thing
that you said in terms of playing.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Defense but you also need to be able to put
the ball in the.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Bucket and, so which is one of the reasons why
he finally Put trevinell back, in you, know in the starting,
lineup to be able to create some space for everybody to.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Operate and so a guy Like, tyris you, know you
do have to give your.

Speaker 6 (16:42):
Flowers and credit what creditors Do Michael davey has done
a phenomenal job on the strength and conditioning, aspect something
that that B yu had spending a lot of, effort
a lot of, energy and you know it's investing a
lot in. This you, know you definitely, remembered, uh the nutrition,

(17:03):
gal you, know she came Over daniel La. FADA i
mean the emphasis That Kevin young and his stafford are
having in this is going.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
To be like a junior n B.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
A you're gonna get out of, Here you're gonna go
To you're gonna go to the n B.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
A it's going to be a smooth, transition you.

Speaker 6 (17:22):
Know you, know talking To, jegor that's something he was,
like you, know there's not much of a difference between
the way things were done at B yu and the
way the way things done you, know In, Brooklyn and
that's a testament to you are duplicating everything That Kevin
young saw at THE nba level At Bu. Yu fortunately
for For Bu yu, fans that is also translating into

(17:46):
success on the, Court Right, BEN i agree with, you
this team is poised for a success. Run i'll personally,
SAY i don't think that it's a sweet tis teen
or BUST i do think that if you, Know dani
makes the round of thirty two this season is a.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
FAILURE i shared this last time with you.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
GUYS i think that if they don't finish in the
top four of the, conference it's a.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Failure and you, know but, again they they.

Speaker 6 (18:14):
Are setting themselves up to have these expectations because of
how wealthies are going to number one recruit in the,
country number three recruiting class this.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Year things are very much looking up for Bear.

Speaker 7 (18:26):
Yu if you, Will, hey appreciate you backing me up
on the Bear yu right, there no all good, Things
AND i think if you achieve what your achieved last,
year you get to the sweet sixteen and you, lose
and you finish top you finish top, Three if you
meet what you did last, year it's, Like, okay you
didn't necessarily, improve but you stayed the. Same anything less than, that,
yeah that's that's not. Successful but going back to your,

(18:46):
point really a little off, topic you Said Trevin neil
maybe a little controversial of what people didn't, like and
he was, again he's a graduate, student he's no longer AT,
byu he's coaching playing three on. Three he talked about
a certain player know entitlement didn't really work hard and
he gave opportunities and we know who that guy, is,
right there's no sugarcoat. It it was scannon catchings compared

(19:07):
To Trey stewart and what. Magna what happened from a
guy that's been in the locker room and been on
the team and nowadays with THE, nio how do you avoid?
That or and you talked about your son preaching to
your son to here's an example of what you do
do don't do this and don't let this affect. You
Because kennon's ATTITUDE i feel like really at times got

(19:29):
it wasn't even necessarily a shot. Selection the bad attitude
got him really benched and not his own.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Play oh SO i will say this.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
Right you, know there's the famous quote From remember The
titans that attitude reflects, Leadership AND i don't know IF
i always agree with, that, right BECAUSE i, mean you,
know you guys on the, media you, know on borderline,
Media but because of how CLOSE i am to the
team and working With BUYU tv and also working with the,

(20:00):
players it's difficult for you to say the attitude reflects
leadership when you Know, trey, uh you, know, Uh trey bought,
in And trav bought, in and And Dallon hall bought.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
In, now, Yeah dallan ended up, transferring.

Speaker 6 (20:14):
But dallen never moped and cried and made any public, spectacles,
Right and so it's difficult for you to say attitude reflects.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Leadership you, know the way that you look at At
cannon is tremendous, potential tremendous.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Potential you, know he was between a rock and a hard.
Place and, uh you, know there are a lot of
times that you don't understand. Basketball Now i'm not saying
that that's the, case but you, know there is a
there is a way to approach, things and it's not.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Easy.

Speaker 6 (20:47):
Now you, KNOW i was probably a two to three
star kid in high. SCHOOL i was at McDonald's All.
AMERICAN i led the state Of nevada and points and.
REBOUNDS i was pretty. GOOD i had offers from THE, A.
C c and from all over the. Place and WHEN
i got to b Y u to eat that that
that big old slice of humble.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
Pie it is not.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Easy now think about multiplying that and exponentially to cannon.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
Situation you, know.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
And and and and his aunt is a hall of,
famer one of the greatest women's played ever played the.

Speaker 7 (21:19):
Game and SO i.

Speaker 6 (21:22):
Understand the, expectations and, HEY i want to play and
be here right. Away AND i think it's also fair
to say none of us Expected richie to be as
good as he.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Was AND i think that's a fair thing to.

Speaker 6 (21:32):
SAY i, DON'T i, don't you, know it's nobody Expected
richie to, be you, know the talk of the, town
the way he, was and, so But kennon never adjusted to,
that right and, uh and and you see, it you
body language is difficult to.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Hide, men it is difficult to.

Speaker 6 (21:49):
Hide and, uh you, KNOW i honestly thought that The
baylor game was a turnaround point for, him because, boy oh,
boy was that boy hooping so much so THAT i, said,
hey if he has another two or three games like,
this he is gone. Suddenly that never, materialized, Right and,
so but it's IT'S i Understand kennon's. SIDE i don't

(22:11):
agree with the way he carried, himself but, NEVERTHELESS i
understand it's not easy to to humble, yourself, Right AND
i think there's a religious aspect.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
To, this you, know, again you, know to Be i'm
Gonna i'm gonna mention.

Speaker 6 (22:26):

Today edwarthroppros Of utah In American FORK i chatted with
Coach chad. K he coaches as a as an accessory
To Justin ena in the linebacking room and the edge
rushers as. Well CHAD k is a great. Coach he's

(28:01):
been around the, block knows how to train up the
best pass rushers in the nation in my, opinion and
he's been working diligently to maximize the talents and abilities
Of Jack. Kelly he's a senior analyst AT, Byu CHAD
k and he's been doing great. Things remember he's been AT,

(28:24):
UCLA Usc, boys You, State Oregon, State, Wisconsin, Utah Utah,
state we were state and it's a robust. Resume he's
been in college football since two thousand and. Five so
he's trying to maximize the abilities Of Jack kelly Aka Sack.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
KELLY i caught up With CHAD k. RECENTLY i, Said,
hey what's the? Number how many sacks Is Jack kelly
coming down with this?

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Season?

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Now jack told us that big twelve media.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Day then what he?

Speaker 7 (28:58):
Say eleven double, digits ten and a, half eleven something
in the double double digits for, sure not it was
eleven six.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Two redchard senior at a Currenc.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
UTAH i expect to See Jack kelly line up in
a two point stance on the field side a lot
a lot in twenty twenty, five gonna be getting after
quarterbacks and forcing them to the weak. Side so when
you come off the strong side, edge you, know you, know.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Not always.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
Right it couldn't depending on where the balls in the
hat on the, Hash BUT i mean he's gonna be
come a right at the face of those of those.
Quarterbacks you couldn't see bull rushes bringing the tackle along with. Him,
okay bull rushing a tackle right into the. Quarterback he's got,
speed he's got, bend he's got. Versatility let's get to

(29:51):
Know Jack kelly a little bit. Better we chatted with
him earlier today at. Practice ke some people call Me.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Jelly ooh combo Of Jack.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
KELLY i THINK i got.

Speaker 7 (30:04):
That yeah it was.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
Good, okay all, Right.

Speaker 12 (30:07):
Jelly so let's talk about what's leading into this. Season
just how are you, feeling because this is a, lot
but you got to be back in the swing of.

Speaker 7 (30:14):
It, yeah, yeah feeling really.

Speaker 8 (30:15):
Good our coaches have done a great job keeping us
healthy and still pushing the pace and making sure we're
getting the right work. In SO i think the coaches
have done a phenomenal job in that. Aspect AND i
think just having the training room doing all that extra field.
WORK i think everything as far as strength coaches too
in the summer helped US gep prepared for this.

Speaker 12 (30:31):
Moment you've been around this program for a couple of years.
Now when you look at a Bear bachmeer as a
true freshman under, center just what do you see as
kind of a veteran on this team and what he
brings to the.

Speaker 8 (30:41):
Table i'm super impressed with him being able to learn
the playbook that fast and execute at the level he
has has been awesome to. See he's super, decisive he
makes good, reads doesn't throw, turnovers doesn't fumble the.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Boss he's had a really great.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Fan number forty.

Speaker 12 (30:56):
Seven can you fill that?

Speaker 7 (30:57):
Out, YEAH i MEAN i, LIKE i like to see.

Speaker 5 (31:00):
It it's a it's a unique.

Speaker 8 (31:01):
NUMBER i, mean some of us lbs have different numbers
that usually aren't linebacker. Numbers so it's kind of cool
to see a quarterback doing.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
That thanks anybody?

Speaker 8 (31:09):
Else?

Speaker 7 (31:10):
Jack is this is this team to the pointing we're?
THERE i, mean this ball camp kind.

Speaker 8 (31:13):
Of winds down when you guys are ready to start
looking at looking at the schedule game Prep Portland.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
STATE i guess is his team ready for? That?

Speaker 8 (31:22):
Yeah for, sure it's been SOME i think like three weeks,
now so we're ready to stop going offense versus defense
and start preparing for a new. Opponent but it's been
a great camp AND i think everyone's just really ready
for the season to kick.

Speaker 7 (31:33):
Off sarah kind of mentioning with the linebacker trio this
first full season started. OUT i think he's done a great.

Speaker 8 (31:40):
JOB i think going to our camping trip and doing
all that has really helped the team grow closer together
as a. Whole But, seal he's a great. Player he's super,
physical super, fast and he knows his. Playbook so he's
done a great. Job uh out here at fall.

Speaker 12 (31:54):
Camp what is one thing that J hill has harped
on this season or this this fall. Camp you're just,
like all, right we got, It.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
JAY i.

Speaker 8 (32:01):
KNOW i would say straining effort can make up for
the lack of or for like. Mistakes so if we're
all just running to the ball and someone makes a,
mistake that effort's going to make up for. That SO
i think just training to the ball is something that
he's really harped.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
On if you've been With ja, while how confident are
you in this? Defense do you feel like you know.

Speaker 8 (32:19):
It, yeah especially, NOW i think it's like year, four
year five in this. Defense obviously there's new things, here
So i've had to learn, those but, OVERALL i feel
super comfortable and it's it's been great for me to
be able to teach the young guys because that helps
me learn more. Too and, yeah it's been.

Speaker 12 (32:34):
Awesome as you're talking about the young guys who you
fel like has developed a lot over this.

Speaker 8 (32:37):
Camp, oh there's a lot to, name but specifically out
of the linebacker, Room Miles hall has done a great.

Speaker 9 (32:42):
Job.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
ACE i mean they're not really young, guys but they've
done great. Job, Pearson, Knocki, Tyler, Payne, berkeley all of,
them the whole linebacker room has really bought into this
culture in the program and understood the.

Speaker 12 (32:55):
Playbook and what would you say about THIS bayu culture
going into this.

Speaker 7 (32:58):
Season it's.

Speaker 8 (32:59):
Phenomenal What, Klawney Coach, hill and Coach roderick have set
here has been. Awesome it's really a family oriented team
and everyone's really playing for something bigger than. Themselves SO
i think it's a really selfless team that has a
has a high.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
Ceiling there you, go That's Jack. KELLY a couple of
gems From Jack. Kelly he broke Down Bear. BACHMEYER i
love how positive and look they're gonna be. Positive this
IS qb one AND i do believe he's earned the.
Job but it is nice to hear from your team,

(33:33):
leadership your defensive, studs your, stars elaborate on what Makes bear.
Unique it's not just his, number which is, unique and
it's not just his, build which is also. Unique we
Called Brandon gurney Gurthy gern because he's got some thick
bones and robust. Musculature so Does Beart, bachmeyer but at

(33:59):
more of an elite.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Level. Right So Bear bachmeyer is a good decision.

Speaker 3 (34:05):
Maker Bear bachmeyer processes these processes things. Quickly bachmeyer can
get through his progressions, quickly and he makes some great.
Throws Aaron roderick, said he's just completing a lot of.
Passes he's moving the, sticks keeping us in a good
position to create. Momentum As i've mentioned time and time,

(34:27):
again And Aaron roderick has been very adamant about, this
THE Byu cougar football team is going to be able
to establish a. RUN i caught up with a few
offensive linemen earlier today down at practice AND i, said,
hey how would you evaluate we? All he got to
see maybe twenty twenty five minutes of practice and it was.
Good there's some great. Plays Cody, hagen he's going to

(34:48):
be a, star telling you noahs, answer Buzbatter we've been
extremely high. On in, FACT i think our first interview with,
him or first interview request Was Cody Hagen and who
DID i get?

Speaker 4 (34:59):
THAT i can't? Run? Y?

Speaker 2 (35:01):
YEAH tpp And tony he's gonna be a dog.

Speaker 7 (35:05):
Dog yeah right, now you, KNOW i mean he's he's
At nickel.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
And Then cody's been. Bawling so, YEAH i, mean, Look,
Bears bear's gonna be. Good they're gonna be able to
run the, football And bear's gonna be a part of
running that. Football so we use a unique, player no
doubt about. It so shout out To Jack kelly and
that little player. Profile Appreciate Jack kelly giving us some
good sound.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
BITES i.

Speaker 7 (35:29):
Think also shout up To Andrew urban keeping the interview
going With fox thirteen great. QUESTIONS i, mean AND i
just want to point out this because we're gonna hear
from this later in a few. Moments been maybe an
hour or. Less BUT, Askfusi Miles hall mentioned other, guys
AND i know That Jack kelly AND i g are
gonna get all the Attention. Rflee so but we do
need to talk About ace And miles and maybe a

(35:51):
new Seat talma pay and e From Alcata Because jack
AND i g end of the, season, right you still
got you, know four months with, Them we're not gonna be.
Here so those guys want to see those guys when
they get their opportunity to be able to make some.
Plays why are we so high on The See Alias
era comes into his first game and gets a, pick,
Right so you have to be high on those guys
in that. Way SO i really thought that was that

(36:13):
stood out to, me just an interview of what A
jack said and you, know giving, love you know to
the guys on the defensive side of the. Ball but, YEAH,
ASKAFUZI i think that's the Name kugarnation is going to
start to learn sooner rather than.

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Later fun fact of the, Day Jack kelly has APPARENTLY
i mean since two. Thousand this is since two thousands,
over you, know twenty years. Down, yeah B yu record
holder for single season quarterback. Hurries, yeah it's more Quarterback
hurriason than kp.

Speaker 7 (36:42):
N he's just he's so. Fast Man like when you see.
Him there was a play BAND i think last week
was watching and the quarterback made a good. DECISION i
can't remember which quarterback it, was moves left and then
next thing you, Know jack was right there on the
right side and just tagged him on the. Pants i'm,
like where did he come? From he's just. Dynamic can't forget.
Him and then you, know oh to high like this
to go back to that he had talked About, bear

(37:02):
this is what it. WAS i was trying to. Remember
Aaron RODERCK i said it earlier in the first. Half
you missed it download on the. Podcast he had, said
he's throwing to the least amount of. Interceptions so when
you get a quarterback that takes care of the, football
look AND i, mean like you, said you want those
guys to buoy him up talk about him because.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
So he said that.

Speaker 7 (37:20):
TODAY i, Mean i'm pretty sure he. Is i'm pretty
sure he's turned the ball. OVER i might have to
go check, it But i'm pretty sure he said turn
the ball over the Least.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
So and listen to.

Speaker 7 (37:32):
THAT i, MEAN i mean to be, Honest, BEN i
thought he was about to say it's completion percentage because
he was he like stopped.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Himself.

Speaker 7 (37:38):
Anyway the point Is bear is gonna be very impressive
in that. Regard but the main point is he loved
That jack is bullying up his. Guy his gout because
they've gone against him is going to be. Tough AND
i mean even, Today, ben there are moments where We
bear on the first draft connected To Cody haagan for
a nice forty year, bomb great. Pass Cody aigan's gonna
be a. Guy but then what do we see the

(37:58):
next time? Around bar didn't like what he, saw didn't
want to put the ball in harms. Way he was, like, okay,
no so he head onto the football and the. Game
you're gonna have to take the check down or run
out of bounds to get rid of. It but in
where your guys aren't hitting, you you still love to See,
nope don't do. That okay that like you love the
decision making in that regard because in Actual big twelve,
game you throw the ball on a harms, way another
team is going to pick it, off especially a team

(38:21):
LIKE i always state who you'll. Play who had the
number one pass defense in the nation last.

Speaker 3 (38:24):

Com we're gonna get into my Interview Ace. Kafuzi it's
a guy that's been balling. OUT i think he read
shirted last. YEAR i THINK i mentioned that in the.
Interview but the linebacker, Group Isaiah, Glasker Jack kelly. Phenomenal
but who's behind? That Ephram maciat has made a Move
Ben you AND i discussed that as. Well but now
this is an opportunity to learn who's gonna be behind these?
Guys jack And isaiah not gonna be. Here so who

(40:45):
is the? Future who's rising? Up who has an opportunity
to make some? Plays it's a game of. Attrition well,
One Ace, kafuzi the last name that's right is a.
Standout when you make, plays coaches will put you on the,
field no. Doubt so let's tune. In let's hear FROM
byu Linebacker. Askafuzi my interview from. Earlier, Today Vancougar sports

(41:20):
here with a skafusie as how its practiced.

Speaker 13 (41:23):
Great it's a little hot out, here but it's the
last day of fall, camp so we're just happy to
be out.

Speaker 7 (41:27):
Here last day of fall. Camp are you installing the
game plan going forward For Portland? State?

Speaker 13 (41:31):
Now that starts On, Thursday so we'll have a lyft
tomorrow kind of get our bodies right and then full
Pats thursday install, everything get.

Speaker 7 (41:38):
Prepared have you already seen a tape On Portland? State
what do you know about the team so?

Speaker 13 (41:41):
Far, yeah we've watched a lot over the off, seasons
but our coaches have kind of wanted us to just
be in the. MOMENT i get too overwhelmed or tired
of watching the same thing over, again so we're gonna
watch it all together.

Speaker 5 (41:53):
And be on the same.

Speaker 7 (41:53):
Page your name has come. Up you know during this
fall camp you've been balling. Out we've seen you running
with the ones the. Twos how would you value away
your fall camp this?

Speaker 13 (42:01):
YEAR i think a lot of like we were talking about,
earlier got a lot of opportunities and they come very,
rarely so you got to make the most out of.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
Them AND i THINK i.

Speaker 13 (42:09):
Did we had some scrimmages WHERE i was able to
produce a lot more Than i've done before and learned
a lot from the guys in front of.

Speaker 5 (42:15):
Me SO i THINK i did pretty.

Speaker 7 (42:17):
WELL i know you guys don't hit the, Quarterback but
have you been able to get any tackles for loss you,
know any sacks that you've been made note of over any?

Speaker 13 (42:24):
Interceptions, yeah, THIS i had one in the stadium in
our practice before our, scrimmage but in almost previous SCRIMMAGE
i had a few tackles for losses and some rushes,
that like you, said we can't get too, close but
close enough to where it's you, know you would have
been there if the ball before the ball was.

Speaker 7 (42:39):
Throw what is something that you know this year that
you would have known last?

Speaker 5 (42:42):
Year SOMETHING i WISH i would have. KNOWN i think
just the defense as a.

Speaker 13 (42:47):
Whole Coach hill talks about being motivated when you have,
competence when you know what you're, doing you're able to
flow and make. Plays AND i think that's the biggest
thing for me this year Is i've played all positions
so within the linebacker, room and So i'm able to
just be, instinctive just make plays WHEN i see SOMETHING
i can attack rather than being proass just by.

Speaker 7 (43:08):
Analysis what position do you like playing the most in
the linebacker, Room i've.

Speaker 13 (43:11):
Been playing rover a lot more now and it's kind
of to the. Boundary but there's a lot of opportunity
to make plays in all of. Them so WHEREVER i
am able to be out there and play and make
places WHERE i want to.

Speaker 7 (43:21):
Be that last name obviously means something At. Byu what
is you? Know the legacy of The kufusi. Family what
does that mean to?

Speaker 5 (43:27):
You it means a.

Speaker 13 (43:28):
Lot it takes a, lot and it comes with a.
Lot but there's actually three of us on the. Team
There's micah And orian and then my Cousin. Viill he's
A culfussie as, well but his mom is A, culfusi
and so we don't take it, lightly but we're grateful
for the pressure that it comes with because it's made
us who we are.

Speaker 7 (43:46):
Today have any other Former kufusi's giving you any? Advice
have you been here At?

Speaker 4 (43:50):
Byu?

Speaker 13 (43:50):
Oh, yeah they all live around here AND i look
up to all of them and we reach out where
our family functions together AND i like it because a
lot of it's just how are you doing off the,
field BECAUSE i think that correlates to how we perform
on the field as.

Speaker 7 (44:02):
Well definitely a name a bau AND i think you're
living up to the. Pressure what skill set do you
bring to the linebacker?

Speaker 13 (44:08):
ROOM i think a lot of height is what they're,
liking and then speed and experience from now. On it
took some time to get in the books and learn the,
defense but now THAT i do have, That i'm working
on everything else to make sure THAT i and the
BEST i can.

Speaker 5 (44:24):
Be so there's no choice but to have me on the.
Field what does that do for?

Speaker 7 (44:27):
You confidence? Wise knowing the playbook now knowing you can
go out there and make.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Place LIKE i said, earlier it's just.

Speaker 13 (44:32):
INSTINCTIVE i think in that, scrimmage that's the first TIME
i just WHENEVER i saw.

Speaker 5 (44:36):
Ball let's go get ball and see.

Speaker 7 (44:39):
Ball get.

Speaker 13 (44:39):
Me, yeah just be violent and kind of, nasty and
that's what the coaches, wanted and SO i think WHEN
i know What i'm, Doing i'm able to do that
a lot.

Speaker 7 (44:47):
Better is do you like playing IN J hills? Defense
because it allows you to be so, aggressive so? Violent
to make, Plays oh, yeah for.

Speaker 13 (44:52):
Sure AND i just trust all of them because you
can tell they've spent years in this defense and they
know the little nuances and when things supposed to be
a certain, way and when we're hit supposed to hit
certain gaps and, others and so just being able to
have someone that you can ask questions to and know
the how the answer allows you to just go out
there and trust that everyone will do their job.

Speaker 7 (45:12):
Too preseason polls don't really. Matter but when you See Jack,
Kelly Isaiah, glasker guys who are POTENTIAL nfl guys left
off in that preseason poll at the linebacker, position and
knowing the depth you guys, have what is? That how
does that feel you?

Speaker 13 (45:26):
GUYS i, mean you'd have to be dumb not to
see what they've done and what they can. Do and
that means a lot to our group. Too we look
up to, them we respect, them we're grateful for all
that they do because they make a lot of, sacrifices
and so it just feels the fire and we all
know having them in our, room we all know the
standard and so we try our best to live up

(45:46):
to it and then raise it as.

Speaker 7 (45:48):
Well talk about your relationship With justin and how has
he been as a coach for.

Speaker 5 (45:52):
You, Oh i've been blessed to have.

Speaker 13 (45:54):
Him he brings out the violence and the intensity that
a linebacker room needs to, have as well as the
fact that he knows exactly what he's. Doing he pushes
us to become the best that we need to be
in order for this defense to. Succeed because he doesn't
take the linebacker group. Lightly we're supposed to kind of
govern everything everyone, does and So i'm grateful for.

Speaker 7 (46:15):
Him why come TO? Byu play FOR?

Speaker 4 (46:17):
Byu?

Speaker 7 (46:18):
Obviously you know what the linebacker room has. Meant you
look at guys in THE. Nfl you look At kyle
van noy f At, warner guys that played. Here why
commit TO byu and? Play LIKE i said, earlier my
family means everything to.

Speaker 13 (46:29):
Me all of my cousins that i'll live around here
and are successful with their families as, well have given
me kind of a model THAT i want to have as.
Well and a big part of their success was coming TO,
byu and SO i kind of want to follow that
and raise the standard as well for the future.

Speaker 7 (46:44):
Generations outside OF byu is, more you, know they talk about,
faith they say, faith, family. Football, amen those are the
three you know words that you have to go. By
what is faith meant to you in your? Life and
how has that played a role here at B yu spend.
EVERYTHING i served a mission in The California San Jose.
Mission it's changed my life for the.

Speaker 13 (47:03):
BETTER i think about it a, lot those experiences and
my faith keeps them, grounded gives me reason, Purpose it
allows me to look forward and have hope and the
opportunity to change and become a better. Man and then
football is just another opportunity to do something THAT i
love and have fun with a lot of the brothers
that that will, lost those relationships will last.

Speaker 7 (47:23):
Forever in your, opinion why do you think that's been so?
Contagious now we're in a different state of college, football
the landscape within Il why do you think that is sticking?

Speaker 4 (47:31):
True?

Speaker 7 (47:31):
Now this more faith you know model on top of everything.

Speaker 13 (47:35):
Else money can't buy happiness and experiences that will change your,
life as well as the fact that you're gonna make
money in your life. Sometime but if you're not becoming
someone that you want to, be you'll be left with
a lot of monetary things and a lot of opportunity
to look back and wish that you were someone. Else

(47:55):
and SO i think when you Put god first to
teach scriptures teach that everything falls into. Place and a
lot of people are starting to recognize.

Speaker 7 (48:02):
That now you've mentioned a little, bit but football means so.
Much but who does a? Skufus you want to? Become uh,
MAN i want to become just like my, pops he
serves and my mom as. Well it was just her,
birthday so shout out to my.

Speaker 13 (48:16):
Mom just someone who is, selfless strives to develop cresh
like attributes and then is just, optimistic very joyful because
life short and so why not just be good and do?

Speaker 7 (48:29):
Good sounds like you your parents have been a big
influence in your.

Speaker 5 (48:32):
Life, absolutely they're everything to.

Speaker 7 (48:34):
Me oh what did you learn from last season that
you want to build on going into this? Season SO i.

Speaker 13 (48:39):
Actually recher did last season and so the biggest thing
for me WAS i was itching to get on the
field and that has driven my off season and it's
allowed me to go up against our offense last year
every single.

Speaker 5 (48:50):
Day so you learn how to use my.

Speaker 13 (48:51):
Hands although we were scouting different, defenses just recognizing when
it's a run versus a past when we have a lot.

Speaker 5 (48:58):
Of fakes because our offense is good at scheming things.

Speaker 7 (49:01):
Up speaking of the, Offense Bear Bachmeyer Aaron, roddick just the,
name is going to be the starting, quarterback first, time
a true freshman AT. Bo he's been. Named just what
have you seen From? Baron what has it been like
for you going up against? Him, oh he's.

Speaker 5 (49:11):
Tough he's.

Speaker 13 (49:12):
Tough he's, young but that brings a lot of, energy
enthusiasm and, yeah just a lot of Good And i've
actually off the. Field we went to that camp In.
Hebrew got'll know him a lot. More it's just a chill,
guy and so it's someone THAT i trust as well to.

Speaker 5 (49:27):
Go out there and lead our.

Speaker 7 (49:28):
Offense what is something that just stuck out to you
first impressions of getting and, hohm what was? That what
was the first thing that stuck out to? You just
first impressions of Getting, No, bear you.

Speaker 13 (49:36):
Didn't even talk a lot at. First he kind of
just read the. Room and then when you really get
to know, him he's got he's, feisty and he has
a little bit of a, humor but he's super, chill laid,
back and the boys gravitated to him as, Well so
it was a really good.

Speaker 7 (49:51):
Relationship it's the biggest thing in the quarterback, competition letting
the room picks right and gravitating towards outside of bear
who is stuck out to you this fall camp, offensively
which you like to, highlight.

Speaker 13 (50:00):
Ooh that's a good one. OFFENSIVELY i was just talking
To Carson. Ryan he's one of our tight.

Speaker 5 (50:07):
Ends love that. DUDE i actually paid him in high
school back.

Speaker 4 (50:11):
Up i'm From.

Speaker 13 (50:11):
Hawaii so we flo out here and Played Tim few
And Starry. Carson we smacked. Him But carson was a
dog AND i knew he'd be playing at the second
level as. Well and so when it came home from
my mission AND i heard he was transferring, HERE i was, like, oh,
yeah that's a good asset that we're adding to our
offense as well AS i, mean all of our quarterbacks

(50:32):
are great and our receiving corps is top, Notch, Jojo,
Chase Coody. Parker SO i don't, know as you're asking,
me AND i am so optimistic about our. BOYS i love,
him AND i HOPE i want to see them all,
eat and SO i just think they're the, best and
so that's just coming from a player on the.

Speaker 7 (50:51):
TEAM i was going to ask you about who the highlight,
offensely but you mentioned a bunch of, Guys so we'll
move on personal goals that you like to accomplish this.

Speaker 13 (50:58):
SEASON i just want to get in there and, tribute get, turnovers,
tackles be assignment, sound do WHATEVER i, can whether it's
special teams or anywhere any phase on the, field to
get in there help us win, games BECAUSE i think
our team has a potential.

Speaker 5 (51:12):
To win a lot of.

Speaker 7 (51:13):
Games let's go off the. Field what are he's studying in?
School football doesn't mean a lot, obviously play at the next.
Level but when football is, done what would you like to.

Speaker 2 (51:19):
Do i'm not too sure.

Speaker 13 (51:21):
YET i actually just got into the business school experience design,
major so we'll see where that takes. Me i'm kind
of just ready to learn and embrace being in the
business school and see wherever that takes.

Speaker 5 (51:33):
Me and So i'm just one foot at the, time
one semester at the. Time it is kind of my
model right.

Speaker 7 (51:37):
Now, hey if you're in the business, school that's top.
Notch enna WALL a bunch of other players have been,
there Graduated Taysom MILL i think graduating the finance so
that pipeline to B a football players in the business
school is going strong for. SURE i know you said
mentioned in being with the. Family outside of, family what
activities do you like to?

Speaker 4 (51:51):
Do?

Speaker 5 (51:52):
EAT i love to eat and listen to, music and
so anytime opportunity.

Speaker 13 (51:56):
Off the, field me and the boys just let's go
To korean barbecue or or. Anywhere we're trying to find
some new. Spots so it's kind of hard In. Provo you,
know they have every fast food chain and then there's
nothing Like oh that's only In.

Speaker 5 (52:08):
Provo and so, eat listen to, music go on drives
and then just.

Speaker 13 (52:13):
CHILL i have a lot of family around the pro,
area so we always hang out with each.

Speaker 7 (52:17):
Other you've probably already been To Red, tacos but IF
i had to mention a place where Red tacos, is
that's one of my. Favorites you can't go wrong when
you have a. TACOS i. Agree we'll finish up on
these last. Two you said music you like? Music hot
take song to listen to right? Now and then what's
just slept? On church him that people should buy more
and stocking.

Speaker 5 (52:34):
Too Slept on. SONG i don't know if a lot
of people will.

Speaker 13 (52:42):
Know That's, okay it's called it's the name Of thoughts
Of you One foundation looking up on song.

Speaker 5 (52:47):
Cloud, okay it's a Yeah.

Speaker 7 (52:49):
Polynesian you guys got the slaps, Man, HEY i enjoyed.

Speaker 13 (52:53):
Listening to them WHEN i drive here in the, morning you,
know just just to be, chill don't be too, anxious
just get ready for the. Day and so that's my
song THAT i THAT i think is slept. On but
what was the second?

Speaker 7 (53:05):
Question the second one was what's an underrated church him
that people should buy more stocking To and it could
be one of the newer ones.

Speaker 4 (53:12):
Too i'm a.

Speaker 5 (53:13):
Child's prayer kind of.

Speaker 13 (53:14):
Guy we were at The hebrew camp AND i played
a little bit of the yuk and SO i just
started showming that song and we had the two, parts
the guys and the girls, part and then we all
sing it together and it was actually really. Good so
shout out to all the boys at the campfire And
OKEANU riderd And muni was there ten Or. Wall there
was like twenty of us and you could feel the
spirit up there And Hebrew, valley that's for.

Speaker 5 (53:35):
Sure so that's my SONG i think is scept on church.

Speaker 7 (53:38):
Song how long you've been playing THE uk that's a
good skill to. HAVE i mean In hawaii.

Speaker 13 (53:42):
Everyone's good at playing an instrument or singing so AND
i wasn't for a long, time so it hasn't been very.
Long i'm not very, good BUT i know how to
play a few, songs so we can.

Speaker 7 (53:53):
Expect you, know we won't see, it but during THE
byu devotional you'll play THE yuk and you'll. Sing probably
at some.

Speaker 13 (53:57):
Point it would take it would take so much watch
to get me to do, that but if everything, aligns
very very very small chance that that would.

Speaker 7 (54:07):
Happen but maybe any last messages For Kuger.

Speaker 13 (54:10):
Nation AS i, Know i'm excited for the season and
just thanks for all the, support come out because it

Speaker 2 (54:30):

Speaker 7 (54:35):

yuke very humble. Kid he knows he can sing and
he can play the. Yuke, yeah he's A i'm glad
THAT i got to know who he was a little
bit off the, field the last Name ben is obviously no, joke,
right he knows what the. Pressures that's why he cammed
it to buy. You and THEN i asked him about you,
know the faith Portion kafusi families are you, know, uh

(54:57):
we know who they. Are he talked about his influence
of his parents, self, right christ like attributes is kind
of who he is as a. Person then on the,
field he read shirted last year he learned how he
said to use his hands recognize the run from the
past because aerrotics, system you, know mimics somewhat of AN
nfl style scheme to a degree in. Offense, well so
he's really improved a. Lot you, know he's been able

(55:18):
to get in the, backfield falling out at the. Scrimmers
this is a guy that is going to see reps this.

Speaker 4 (55:24):
Year.

Speaker 7 (55:24):
Ben don't know what those reps will look, like but
glad that we got the opportunity to get to know
him and who he, is why he committed to by.
You i'm excited to see him go play playing rover
right said that he's been playing the rower. Position sounds
like he's learned a bunch of positions, there but that's his,
favorite the one he's. Doing he likes that he can be, aggressive,
violent just make. Place he wants to make plays and
highlight himself and when you're playing that rover, position it

(55:46):
will allow you to do more of. Such So i'm
excited to see. Him know, What Jack kelly And Isaiah
glasker will be the, ones But ace will be right
behind them running with the, twos and hopefully we can
see him are on special teams and other positions this
year as.

Speaker 2 (55:59):
Well, yeah keeping out for number. Eighteen he's six, four
two thirty.

Speaker 3 (56:02):

shirt sophomore at A, Chuckoo Hawaii Cahuku High. School we
