Get to know the Coopers student athletes. Get a player
profile second here on one oh three nine at ninety

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Thevan Welcome back to Couber Sports. Right here on one
O three nine and ninety eight three ESPN. The Fan, Ronald,
the three man Weaver here, Red Hammer by my side,
getting into the second hour of the show. Right now,
little player profile, gonna get into some Jack Kelly sound
post game of Stanford. Jack had a phenomenal game, Brett.
(00:29):
I'll just start there with you. What you like about
Jack Kelly's performances. Seemed like he was on the field
everywhere on Saturday.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Jack Kelly looked like a defensive end playing linebacker. Like
it just looks like anywhere you put him in the
front seven, whether it's middle, whether it's off the edge,
whatever you asked him to do, he could not be stopped.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
He was a man on a mission.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
Frankly, I think.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
He wished they would have let him pass rush the
passer even more, he was incredible at dialing up everything
he was asked to do in this scary j Hill defense.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Yeah. Uh, He's very scary. And if you didn't catch
the game. Five total tackles for solo one assisted two
point five tackles for lost one second of force. Fumble Man.
That strip sackle was crazy, Jack Kelly, lookout for him.
Bad Boys. Bad Boys Number seventeen and number sixteen Isaiah
Glasker both were crazy. This player profile segment gonna be
(01:27):
brought to you by Big O Tires an American Fork.

the VIP products, VFP servers, VP discounts when you do.
Without further, let's get into the Jack Kelly sound. Let's
we arn't with number one? Why don't we Hey, Jack brother,
why don't you tell us what was the keys to
the successful run? Defense against Stanford on Saturday.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
I think obviously game plan is a huge part of that.
Coacho does a great job getting us ready throughout the week,
and then just really being there for each other. We
play for something bigger than ourselves, which is each other,
and I think that really helps us all come together
and rally.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Jack Kelly right there talking about how they were able
to successfully stop the run. Jack is not the overly explosive,
bubbly guy to talk, but I feel like this is
one of the better interviews. He said a lot about
that you really have to be strategic in how you
ask people questions if you want a specific answer. So
I felt like he said a lot right there in
this interview. But we're gonna keep going. Number two. Did
(02:50):
you feel like that safety took Stanford out of the game,
even though the scoreboard necessarily didn't reflect it, Jack, I
don't think we.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Were necessarily looking at that.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
We're kind of thinking about this drive, the next drive,
the upcoming drive, so it's kind of taking to play
by play drive by drive.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
So I mean, there was a great drive.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
That we had in that over those couple of series,
but overall, we're just focusing on this drive.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Just focusing on that drive, play by play, one step
at a time. Look, the scoreboard didn't reflect the nature
of the game, but the defense looked like they pitched
the shutout, even though that they got three points. That's
how it looked on paper, even though in crunch time
it took the ball away when it matter most. But yeah,
that happened. Let's get to number three really quickly. Jack,
how would you evaluate your play against Stanford on Saturday.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
I say it was pretty good. Obviously I have a
lot to improve on.
Speaker 5 (03:40):
There's certain things where I needed to stay in my gap,
where I went in the wrong gap, just little things.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
So I think it was a good night. But I
can obviously get a lot better.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
He can't get a lot better. I'll tell you this
because I asked that question. He smiled when I asked
that question, because he had a fantastic game. Just to
remind people if you missed the game, here the stats.
He had five time little tackles for solo, one assist
at two point five tackles for loss, a strip sack
just so people know which goes with the force fumble
as well. Jack was phenomenal. He looks so fast coming
(04:10):
off that edge, Brad.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
I'm telling you he for a guy who's that big,
he shouldn't be able to move that fast.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Yeah, he can move he can, he can, he can.
He can move fast, for sure. He's built different on
an edge. Like I keep saying, I'm saying, all show
bad boys, bad boys, what you're gonna do, what you're
gonna do when they come for you. Number seventeen is
a problem on the edge, and don't forget about number sixteen.
Ig is also going to be a problem as well.
And he'd account for him. Speaking of Ig, how nice
(04:40):
is it to have pretty boys?
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Is?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
He calls himself with you in that linebacker room, Jack.
Speaker 5 (04:47):
It's awesome because I can learn from him, he can
learn from me, So it's like a great duo.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
And obviously we got other guys.
Speaker 5 (04:51):
He always Sarah, Miles Hall, A Skfusi, Max Alfred, So
we got a lot of guys in this linebacker room stacked.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
I tried to get him to talk about himself and
I g a little bit more right there, and he
took a he opted out. He said everybody wasn't a
good answer. I tried, you could only try so much.
He gave a little tip but then he said, Miles
A saw those guys didn't see as too much on
on Saturday. I don't know what's going on with that obviously,
Chad Bryan Strawler didn't play. Hopefully you can get him back.
(05:19):
You're gonna need him for the rest of the season
as well. All those guys in those linebacker room. Salia
Sarah's nice nice with a capital nice. I was able
to spell it right this time. So I don't have
the best higher level education, but I have some. Let's
get the number five before we close it out, Jack,
what do you see in the film this week that
helped you have such a successful game against Stanford?
Speaker 6 (05:41):
When New Stanford was gonna run the ball.
Speaker 5 (05:42):
They're physical guys, So that was the main thing that
coach was preparing us for, is just be able to
stop the run because we knew they were physical upfront,
had some good backs, good old line, so that's the
main thing.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, this Stanford team definitely can run the football, and
Uyu committed themselves to stop in the run and did
a really good job. Nice job of doing that. Yes,
they scored three points on him, but even though it
wasn't a shutout, the defense looked like it was in
mid season shape for sure. Radydumon, he gets his started
off with the pick, then comes Jack Kelly, then comes
volatile at the end. The defensive line is living up
(06:16):
to expectations to what we thought. Had a lot of
questions in the beginning of what it could be. Know
that they really haven't played any opponents, but a lot
of confidence and stuff that you can take forward. I
definitely think Keanu Tonavasa getting double team to help j
T Jack along the edge when you bring Isaiah Glasker.
J Hill called a phenomenal game. The blitzes were nice,
I really think And I'm gonna give credit to Ryan
(06:36):
Elgers because I didn't say this is a segment is
sponsored by Big Otier's an America four. Ryan said that
Jack Kelly and Isaiah Glasker were the best linebackers in
the Big twelve, and they are like and I mean
to say that like that's a that's a that's a
hot take, but might not be wrong with the way
those both look. If you don't have those guys, do
you get that's your sack? Do you are you able
(06:57):
to even get the safety All of that is because
of how dominant Jack Kelly and Isaiah Glaskar. When you
lose them at the end of the season, it's gonna
be a big loss for I like the potential that
he has, and you're moving him back. I like Siali Sarah,
I like Shada, Brian Strata, but Jack Kelly, in Isaiah
Glaska the real deal Brett.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
At one point in the game, I just felt bad
for Stanford because if you're the Stanford offensive coordinator, here's
the deal. You can either game plan for Jack Kelly,
you can game plan for Isaiah Glasker, or you could
game plan for Kean Utanavasa. But you cannot game plan
for all three. One of them is coming free. You
just have to decide pick out on the menu, which
(07:36):
one do you want, because one of them is coming through.
And that was the entire night while Stanford wasn't down.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
What you're gonna do. What you're gonna do when they
come for you? Bad boys, Bad boys. Okay, that's enough
for that, guys. That's our segment though. That's another player
profile segment. With Jack Kelly getting into the postgames sound
he said he wanted ten and a half sacks. Well, Jack,
you're on your way as well. Keep up the good work.
But that second one was brought to you by Big
O Tires and American Fork. If you're looking for a

Advance Windows dot com. My guy Cammeller of the Pro
Football Network PFSN right day.
Speaker 4 (10:41):
He does great work.
Speaker 7 (10:43):
He was formerly a part of the Pro Football Focused team.
Used to hop on our show all the time to
discuss grades. Now he's doing it on his platform. Make
sure your funnel at Cammeller. Check out his grades from
the weekend highest graded defensive units who played a P
four offense.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Now we all know Stanford is not a.
Speaker 7 (11:05):
Good football team, not a good offensive team at least.
Go Branson is Boo Boo and they just couldn't establish
the run because the Alis defense was so gosh dang good.
So it made them very one dimensional, to say the least.
But BYU showed up and did what he was supposed
to do, just like they did Week one. They dominated
(11:27):
on that in the Trench Warfare game, they dominated on
the defensive front. The only team that graded out higher
than BYU who faced a P four team was actually Oregon,
who demolished Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State col folks
man that was ugly. Oregon came in with a ninety
(11:50):
one point two grade BYU not too far but not
too far behind. At eighty eight point two. This defense
looked elite. This defense balled out.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Now.
Speaker 7 (12:04):
Bear Bachmeyer had a decent performance. I thought, maybe one
poor throw, but overall an efficient evening from your true freshman.
I've said it once, I'll say it again. Do not
expect bear Bachmeyer earlier in this season to win.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
You football games.
Speaker 7 (12:22):
Do not expect him to look like a NFL quarterback
as a true freshman. You need everybody else around him
to buoy him up and to make him look great.
And he needs to be managing the offense, handed the
ball off, making good decisions, not turning the ball over,
and running. I think in short yardedge situations and red
(12:46):
zone opportunities.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Those are my takes on bear Bachmeyer.
Speaker 7 (12:50):
He was not one of the highest graded Big Twelve quarterbacks,
but he didn't have a bad grade either. I think
he's probably in the middle of the back. He did
not show up on CA M. Meller's top eight quarterbacks
of the Big twelve, but you know who did. And
this speaks to what I've stated time and time again
(13:11):
leading up to the twenty twenty five season. With a
true freshman at the helm, this offensive line needs to
be great, and they were. At left tackle, Isaiah Jada
ended up with an eighty seven point one grade that's
fifth in the national rankings From this week, Sonny ma
(13:32):
Cassini did okay as well, seventy five point six that's
sixty seventh. Not as good as we need it to be.
But Kyle super Choke, the SEU transfer, came in and
spelled Sonny and ended up at an eighty two point
six that's sixteenth in the nation.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
Nice work.
Speaker 7 (13:49):
Kyle Bruce Mitchell had an eighty four overall grade. He
comes in at fifteenth in the country. Right guard Austin
Leousa eighty two point one, nineteen teenth overall in the country.
And then Andrew Gentry, the Michigan Transfer, all six foot
eight of them, three hundred and twenty pounds of them,
(14:11):
was the first ranked right tackle in the nation at
eighty seven point one. Impressive work Andrew Gentry, very impressive,
most impressive.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Loved that LJ.
Speaker 7 (14:28):
Martin had himself a day two. Did he get enough
toats is the question? Per Ronald the three man Weaver.
Ronnie says no. Ronnie says LJ needed more Toats, needed
more touches, especially in the first half. I think the
(14:51):
second half was a little bit nicer, a little bit
more on par. Thus far this season, LJ has twenty
si carries in two games, two hundred and forty one yards.
He's averaging nine point three yards per carry. He doesn't
have a touchdown yet, but technically he does.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (15:11):
I mean I was a little bit ticked off that
we did not have the skycam over.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
The goal line when it was that in the stadium.
That was crazy.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Was there?
Speaker 2 (15:22):
That's the tough part. It's like, if it wasn't there,
that's one thing made. But it was there.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
I mean, I feel like the reps were not to
be YU friendly. Let's be honest.
Speaker 7 (15:33):
I'm not a not always a conspiracy theorist, but sometimes
I am. And I'm like, man, it's just every single time,
b what you got a little momentum? Offensively, it seemed
like the reps the Zebras were out there to town like.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
Not so fast, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Not so fast?
Speaker 7 (15:50):
We got to let these stamp for guys stay in
this game, keep it entertained. We can't have this late
night kick become a blowout. Speaking of stats, and I'd
agree with Ronnie. More totes the marrier. More touches the
marrier for LJ. How about the apople? How we feeling
(16:11):
right now about the ap and coaches?
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Pull? Ronnie?
Speaker 7 (16:15):
What did you make of the most recent ranked ranking
drops and where BYU sits in the eight people?
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Well, I mean because Arizona State lost. They fell out
obviously to Mississippi State, and they still should have been
ranked above BYU based on that because they played an
SEC opponent. Usf enters the conversation, they should, right, you
beat top twenty five boys, you beat top twenty Florida,
that has to be noted.
Speaker 5 (16:41):
Ben.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
If they go and beat in Miami this's next week.
All say it by USF and that ball club, But no,
they got it right. And like I said, don't rank them.
Keep letting Utah win move up in the rankings, let
BYU be unranked, and then let BYU play Utah October
eighteenth and then beat them and jump into the top fifteen,
top top ten.
Speaker 7 (17:01):
In the AP pole BYU dropped one spot, receiving ninety
two votes.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
They're at twenty seven. Yep, ASU right in.
Speaker 7 (17:10):
Front of the Missouri jumped in the top twenty five
at twenty five, Auburn at twenty four, Michigan at twenty three,
Indiana twenty two, Texas Tech twenty one. In Utah jumping
up five spots after a dominant victory over who cal
Poly the powerhouse cal Poly. Even though UCLA okay on
(17:32):
paper maybe in branding looks good and Utah got a
nice win in week one over UCLA, UCLA ended up
losing back to back games and.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
They lost to UNLV.
Speaker 7 (17:47):
Now, I'm not trying to knock on UNLV by any means,
and UNLV is undefeated, but five spots seems a little
bit crazy, too kind, seems a little bit the.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
Now too nice, The national media is not going to
do by any favors the coaches.
Speaker 7 (18:08):
Paul still keeps BYU though at number twenty five, Arizona
State twenty four, USF twenty three, in Michigan twenty two,
Utah at twenty one, Texas Tech at twenty.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
There is a.
Speaker 7 (18:20):
Conspiracy theory out there that wants to, you know, maybe
bring down Brett Yormark in the Big twelve brand this year,
and Oklahoma State did not do.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
That.
Speaker 7 (18:37):
The Big twelve brand any favors, any favors got to
win the big ones. You gotta compete at least though.
That's let's talk about stats. It was a good day
for some of the Big twelve, a bad day for
others in the Big twelve. Will continue to recap it.
But that's let's talk about stats. Brought to you by

In American Fork Today, Big twelve News, Mississippi State stunned
Arizona State twenty four to twenty. I can't believe Arizona State,
a ranked team that Brett yor Mark to me has
(21:53):
lauded as maybe the future crown Jewel of Now he
didn't say those exact words, but he is kind of
alluded to it. He wants a team to step up,
he wants a team to take the baton, he wants
a team to set themselves. Apart from the depth of
the parody and you know, the competition within the Big Twelve,
(22:13):
I do think there's a little bit of a pr
national subterfusion going on right now that the Big Twelve is.
It's just not a competitive lead. It's not a good league,
and they lose a lot versus P four teams, and
the data points are intriguing.
Speaker 4 (22:30):
We'll get into it.
Speaker 7 (22:31):
But losing the Mississippi State and the form and fashion
which they did was a travesty for the Big twelve.
Not the biggest travesty of the weekend, but that one hurt.
That one hurt. You gotta shore up the back end.
Can't give up big plays late in the game like that.
You bring the house. You better be sound in your
(22:52):
coverage on the back end. You better have proper leverage,
you better have good eye control. Defensive backssues did not.
Twenty four to twenty Mississippi State came away with the victory.
You're running out of time and opportunities for non conference
objective data points for your CFP bids. Remember, the SEC
(23:14):
is reeling right now. You have Nick Saban literally going
on to the going on to ESPN and Fox and
College Game Day and saying things like, oh, the Big ten.
You know they just have a competitive advantage over the
SEC now due to X Y and Z nil nil. Right,
It's always an excuse the SEC is pushing to create
(23:40):
this College Football Council that will give them power again.
The depth and parody conversation collectively around the college football
world right now is I think a benefit to everybody.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Except the SEC.
Speaker 7 (23:56):
The SEC has had a screen of stranglehold for too
long and they're reeling right now and all that public
propaganda they want to be able to lean into it.
So in Mississippi State's being in the Arizona State, it's
not a good thing.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
Not a good thing. I hated it.
Speaker 7 (24:10):
Utah got a convincing victory over cal Poly That media
likes Utah sixty three to nine. They're in the top
twenty five in both polls, and they moved up five
spots to number twenty. By you got to win over
Stanford in ACCFO, but no one is giving that team
that game any credence whatsoever. BYU actually dropped a spot
(24:32):
in the eight people to twenty seventh. They stayed the
same in the coaches poll, though twenty seven to three
was the victory over Stanford. Oregon just completely pummeled Oklahoma
State sixty nine to three. Wow have the mighty fallen?
Just two years ago Oklahoma State was a double digit
(24:54):
win team.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Last year they.
Speaker 7 (24:57):
Didn't get Bowl eligible, but that was a competitive team
that almost beat BYU on its whole field. What is
going on with Oklahoma State coach Gundy? He's about to
lose his job if he doesn't get competitive here real quick.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Yeah know. We talked to Zach Lancaster, you know, a
triple play radio and Robert Allen was the silent report
of Oklahoma State, and they both have said that if
Gundy replicates last year, he's out, which is crazy Ben
because before that he had what seventeen eighteen straight bowl seasons,
you know, winning. You just don't see that at Oklahoma State.
(25:35):
And it's crazy to think that one of the greatest
coaches in the Big twelve in college football might be
ousted after two bad seasons.
Speaker 7 (25:42):
Thank goodness, Iowa State got to win over a Big
TENFO Iowa.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Iowa was one to one.
Speaker 7 (25:47):
Now Baylor did their job beating a ranked SMU team.
The media is not talking enough about that win. Sawyer
bawled out.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Had to carry the team on his back.
Speaker 7 (25:58):
Goodness, great it's forty eight to forty five. I always
stayed by the way beat Iowa was sixteen to thirteen.
But Baylor getting that dub was fantastic in double overtime,
by the way, forty eight to forty five.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
And that's your point of Bear Bachmar could not win
you that game. Now, that's that's what you mean by that.
And just to point it out to the fans of
VYUS in a shootout, and.
Speaker 7 (26:20):
This isn't This isn't me like trying to like ring
down Bear by the way, I'm just saying, like, I
think there's a lot of people that don't have a
whole lot of race for average to above average solid
quarterback play.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Yeah, and within our fan base.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Yeah, I agree with that, and us Sawyer Robinson's the
next level quarterback. He He's a guy that's different, different
skill set. He's six, he's built different Bears built too.
But no, that's what you mean. I just want to
point it out because anybody that watched that game, Ben
Sawyer Robinson literally put a team on his back because
the Baylor defense couldn't stop you know, a common cold
that day. But no, he carried the team to victory.
And that's just highlighting your point of Ba's in the
(26:54):
same situation that might be tough to win that ballgame.
Speaker 7 (26:56):
Texas Tech got a nice victory over Kent State at
convincing what sixty two to four team Texas Tech I
think looks to be the real deal. They are talented,
I think they're well coached, and they are starting off
the season with little to no adversity. They got the
Arkansas Pine Bluff week one, Kent State, the week two
they got Oregon State, and then finally Week four versus
(27:18):
Utah State. Oregon State could be a tough matchup for him,
but no, it won't be. No, it won't be.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
Oregon State's gotta get it right.
Speaker 7 (27:26):
But Utah will be a tough matchup for Texas Tech obviously,
and the cannibalism if the college football world.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Begins for the Big Twelve.
Speaker 7 (27:32):
At that point, Miszoo beat up on Kansas forty two
to thirty one.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
It was competitive. I guess it came down.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
They got a late touchdown because of a turnover, So
I mean it was what it was, thirty one to
thirty five. Yeah, it was right there being for the
right there like two minutes, So the scoreboard doesn't tell
the entire story story. Kansas had a chance to win
the game, they just didn't. But been Kansas Jayalen Daniels
healthy he's still running for his life two behind that
offensive line. Good football team, it's a good bway. He
doesn't see them either.
Speaker 4 (28:00):
This year.
Speaker 7 (28:00):
Yeah, Cincinnati got a victory over Bowling Ring. That's a
G six opponent, thirty four to twenty. Colorado b Delaware
thirty one to seven. West Virginia lost to Ohio.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
Crazy. You can't lose Ohio.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
Ben, ten to seventeen, rich Rod, get it right, guys.
Kansas State then lost to Army twenty one twenty four.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
I don't want to mess with our friend John Kurtz.
You know we have good relations there, but we might
have to have to.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
Get them on the line. What's going on?
Speaker 2 (28:33):
What in the world is going on with Case? I
think you were as shocked as I. And can we
be honest, Ben, they should have lost last week? Yeah
they didn't. And I'm I'm worried about Chris climbing in
Kansas State because this is they're turning into Oklahoma State.
I'm gonna be honest, I it's starting to look that
bad of what happened last season. So I hope Kansas
State can fix it been because if they go three
(28:56):
and nine or you know, four and eight, that'd be
really shocking.
Speaker 7 (29:00):
Houston got the win over Rice thirty five to nine.
UCF beat North Carolina at and T sixty eight to seven.
Then Arizona beat up on Weaver State forty eight to three.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
Just some numbers here.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
The Big twelves three and one versus the ACC with
three non conference games reminning against powerful opponents. Those three
non conference games need to be dubs. Guys, got to
get dubs there. Big Twelve conference is tied for the
FBS lead in total defensive and special teams touchdowns with eleven.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
It's nice.
Speaker 7 (29:29):
The Big Twelve is a combined sixty six and zero
against FCS programs since the start of twenty nineteen.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
And then a couple other things here.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
Arizona and bo are the only FBS programs not to
surrender a touchdown on defense this season and are joined
by Houston to give the Big Twelve three teams in
the top five nationally and scoring defense byus first with
one point five points per game, Arizona's tied for four
to four point five points per game, and then Houston
type for fourth at four point five points per game.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
Colorado and Houston will fate.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
Houston will face off in their conference open on Friday,
marking the first ever head to head meeting at Big
as Big Twelve members on for a second consecutive season.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
This is interesting. It's not good. I hate this.
Speaker 7 (30:12):
The Arizona Wildcats and Kansas State matchup will not count
in conference standings due to the game scheduled prior to
Arizona joining the Big Twelve. Wow, Okay, I hate this.
I hate this, bro, I don't like it. It's not
good for the conference. It is what it is. Though,
when you take on Pac twelve remaining programs, half of
(30:34):
the top ten winning is active coach in the FBS,
by the way, or from the Big Twelve, Willie Fritz,
Rich Rodriguez, make Gundy, Lance Leipold, and Kyle Winningham.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
But we need more of them winning in my opinion.
Speaker 7 (30:46):
Some conference Big Twelve Conference honorees Offensive Player of the
Week was Jaden Nixon running back UCF and Sawyer Robinson
quarterback Baylor.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
Agree. I disagree with those two greats.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Not disagreeing none for me.
Speaker 7 (30:59):
Defensive Player of the Week Skyler gill Howard defensive line
Texas Tech, and to Matowell mcdonaghugh mcdonaghugh of Iowa State
defensive lineman, agree or disagree on that one.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
I got issues Mcdonahe should not have been And I
understand the first guy he returned to fifty five your
interception been defensive tackle. I think that's the first time
it's been done since two thousand and three or something.
So that's I can understand that it's hard for a
detackle to take a fifty five yard a int to
the house. What is unacceptable is the Iowa State beat
Iowa by three points. He had back to back sacks
(31:30):
in the fourth quarter. Like did you not see what
Jack Kelly did? Or is Zach glask like one of
those guys should for sure have been like Jack Kelly
had two and a half tackles for lost, a sack,
a force fumble, five total tackles for solo And how
how how how does the guy like, how does that
not compete? A guy just shows up in the fourth court.
(31:50):
The guy played, well, this is the first, second, and third.
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Jack needed to sack, strip and rubble recovery, recovery, take
it to the house.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
To the house. I guess to do all of it
at all, Jack, Oh my goodness, it was so that
Yeah that a but again, national media keep giving you
a bullets and more material.
Speaker 7 (32:06):
I will say that Isaiah needs to go for the
strip once he gets home.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Yeah, I would agree with you.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Get that strip.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
That's what you learn from each other.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
Get that scrip anyway.
Speaker 7 (32:16):
