Benefits of Transpersonal Theory

The purpose of this podcast episode is to explore the benefits of  Transpersonal theory for use in dreamwork. A group experience the therapist engaged in with regards to applying transpersonal theory to dream interpretation and the process is discussed in depth. The transpersonal theory would appeal to individuals who are interested in tapping into their highest potential. Transpersonal approaches are often spiritual or mystical in nature. People who are interested in overcoming problems by the expansion of higher consciousness, or inactivating altered states would ideally benefit. People of diverse cultures would also benefit  as the theory is influenced by the belief system of indigenous and Asian cultures  and also draws upon Western culture in terms of traditional interventions
