1978 in Lyon County, lowa: A young woman is found bound and beaten in a ditch - no name, no answers. For 27 years she's Jane Doe. Then fingerprints reveal the truth: Wilma June Nissen, 23, a runaway from a childhood of abuse, a mother who gave up everything for her kids, a dancer with a peach tattoo and a dream that never came true. She disappeared after a private party gig.
