Speaker 1 (00:00):
We welcome you to the virtual Phoenix Raceway. Welcome to
our coverage of the Australian NASCAR E Series BMG Championship
bym Westley Outland. Aaron Dormant alongside Bigglestein Hopton, apologies for
the delay. We had some issues on the server. We
call it a weather delay, a little bit of weather
(00:21):
affecting the start of the race. But nonetheless, Aaron Dorman,
we are ready to go racing here in a matter
of moments, said Phoenix Raceway, to determine the champion for
season two.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
That's right, So once everyone loads in, we'll get this
session on the way as quickly as we can. Again,
we apologize that the lay there's I believe a ten
minute practice session. But when everyone's loaded in we'll bring
the race a little bit forward by doing the best
we can in some troubling circumstances.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
But soon we'll be saying kaus on that track.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
Yeah, we certainly will.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And obviously these drivers will get ready for the championship race.
And as we mentioned on the reset here tonight, here
is a look at it. Four drivers fighting for the championship.
Now remember they don't have to win the race, they
just got to be ahead of the competition that they're battling.
Blaming Densley in the twenty seven. Brenton Hobson, by the way,
(01:26):
is in the eighty eight. I don't know why they
for weeks have not been able to fix that graphic.
Eighty eight is Tom is not Tom Frere, the forty
one is Tom Frere, and the forty.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Is Brad Newman.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
But nonetheless, uh, drivers in the twenty seven of Blaming Densley,
the eighty eight of Brenton Hobson, the forty one of
Tom Frere, and the forty of Brad Newman are ready
to race out here. They got a chance to battle
for the championship. It should be a good one coming
up here. In just a moment.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
When the race gets underway. If you look on that
lad aboard, on that sounding God, they'll be lit up.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
In what.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
So that'll be easy to pick where they hopefully they
have the first four cars and just battling it out.
But Josh Michelmore or Aaron bug Athan winner can come
from behind and spoil that party.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Yeah, by the way, adn't sound for the course. Right now.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
We're seeing these guys working their way around the racetrack.
And again they're not gonna get a whole ten minute
practice session, bottom line, they're just gonna get the opportunity
to just make sure we get all what twenty nine
thirty drivers into the server and when we do, then
we'll be ready to go race. And we've been told
from the Australian NASCAR E Series officials for the BMGX
(02:49):
series Aaron that they have the lineup. They know the lineup.
We've already given you the lineup. We will do it again,
but these guys will again race in that order. So again,
what another phenomenal job by Brad Newman. Brad Newman and
Jared philsal on the front row. This practice session is
(03:10):
just to make sure we get all thirty drivers close
to in the server before we get ready to turn
them loose for the race.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Here tonight, we.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Can say from those sainting shots people was getting in
last minutes, practiced in maybe little doll in the setup,
and here we can say schedule. You can see where
we started at the Chicago Street Race way back on
the eighth of July. A couple of months later, few
wins for a few people, few hot aches for a
(03:41):
few others, but we are now racing for that championship trophy,
the ultimate bragging rots in the Australian Nasca scene.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, we're ready to see what goes on, how it happens,
what will go down. And obviously there it is the
last race here tonight and five laps is the distance
for this event. There will be two stages. There will
be a caution at lap thirty five for the end
of the stage and then they will race from there
to the finish of the race to lap one oh
(04:13):
five and at night's in the champion will be decided again.
As we mentioned, there are close to thirty drivers trying
to log into the server here. I think they've about
accomplished that fee and get ready for practice to happen,
to come to an end and get ready to go
racing here. As we mentioned, there's the drivers that are
(04:34):
racing for the championship, you see them again. But then
there's other guys that really want to end on a
high note, all right, like guys that are either building
for next season when it starts up again, if you
will aerin, or just looking for that opportunity to say, okay,
well maybe I didn't make the Championship Final four. But
(04:55):
you know, I still got a really good race card.
Guys like Josh Michelmore, Aaron borr Ethan Winner, just some
of the names that I could think of that fell
short of making it in, but they can still be
competitive to try to win the last race to send
off the season.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Here, Aaron, then you got a couple of wild kinds
of like Jared philsll Or Grieff and God, a couple
of speedy guys in there that could come to spoil
this for everyone else.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Yeah, obviously we've seen Jared phil Sell in the success
he's had recently, right winning on the series. Not a
full time competitor, but he's just enjoying team with being
a teammate with the driver of Brad Newman. And again,
as we mentioned, they're on the front road. He's already got,
by the way wins this year, two wins for the
driver of Jared phil Cell. By the way, that's more
(05:51):
than his teammate Brad Newman. Brad Newman is in the
Championship four, but he doesn't have a regular season win,
much less of playoff win. Charit he's done it erin
by literally fighting and clawing for every track position stage
point he can get to move to this opportunity to
(06:12):
race for the championship tonight.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
He's generally consistently up the front, so that pays dividends
this time of the season. You see in the championship
standings where those four were, he was on equal points
with Josh Michaelmore. I know, fifteen above the cut line.
My bad, he's not that far in front of everyone else.
(06:39):
But other guys get that win. Blaming Denzley clearly got
a win in the Round of eight to join this
final race of the round of four, just a single
race just to decide this championship.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
A battle.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Indeed, we wait to see it. The Round of eight
has now become the final four, and you see the
drivers around the racetrack still getting acquainted with the speedway.
Let's tell you a little bit about Phoenix Raceway. Obviously
the site for the championship race here tonight, no doubt.
Obviously over a mile in length. This track has obviously
(07:20):
went through some major reinnovations in the last couple of seasons,
if you will. Phoenix Raceway located actually in Avondale, Arizona,
just outside of Phoenix, but nonetheless it is a fun racetrack.
The obviously, as I mentioned, it's it's it's been changed
(07:44):
over the years. Some people like it, some people don't. Obviously,
there's the front stretch that's one thousand, one hundred and
seventy nine feet long, backstretch one thousand, one hundred or
one thousand, five hundred and fifty one feet long that
used to be the run straight away, but they flip
flopped them. And here at this race track there is
(08:05):
of course the dog leg one mile one, turns one
in two eleven degrees, turns three and four. Entering out
of turn on that long back stretch going to three
and four, it enters very quickly back to start finish,
and that is nine degrees in banking.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
And obviously, Aaron, you.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Gotta drive aggressively, right because I never would have thunked
it till they've done it the way that the facelift
of Phoenix is now, you gotta drive your competitors differently
than the way you used to race on the old
layout of Phoenix Raceway. And you're gonna see that dog
leg coming to play. You're gonna see four five six wide.
(08:49):
Bonzye moves to cut people off to get some advantage
on the bottom below the apron. It should be an
interesting race here tonight when it gets started.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
My friend, a lot of racetracks we talk about track limits.
There's no going below the yellow line. That doesn't exist
at Phoenix. Your track limits. It's the wall on one
side and the wall on the other. You can use
any part of that racetrack you like, try and shortcut.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
There are some bumps that can unsettle.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
The car, heat the ties up a little bit, which
there were a lot of tire failures on in the
championship race on Sunday night.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
In that Cup series.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
You won't have those kind of failures here, but they
can change the dynamic of the cars, how they race,
how they rejoined the track.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Again, would you see on the screen.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Cody Deep there a little bit loose, see way under
the yellow line there, who's trying to take a shorter
way around the track. He's actually coming into pit lane
very hot for the car in front, and you seem
like up the fray. Another thing you see is the
sun in their eyes. Oh yeah, see Griffin Gardener now
just entering turns through them. This is the main strike
(10:04):
that's not overly straight, little kinds of the dog leg
under the yellow line there and these it turns one
and two above the yellow line has that few degrees
of banking below the yellow line is black.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
So there are advance question discipline and.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
That peripheral vision's gonna be definitely blinders for the guys
that obviously are diving into the backstretch, off the backstretch.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Going into turn three and there you see it.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Just a little sample of these guys is there's one
of the championship boar, Blaine Dinsley, working around the race track,
just trying to get acquainted as this practice session. I
didn't think it was gonna go the whole fifteen minutes,
but I guess it is.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Probably destructed simply.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
This a question out there from Trevor vickerlell too.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
On the YouTube chat. We see a question from the
regular viewer, Trevin mckamore.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Well, it's very simple. It's very simple, Trevor micklemore even than.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Guys question if the top four crash out, who wins
the championship. Well, I mean it's based on the it's
based on the standings of the race, so the position
track position at the end of the night. So whoever
is the driver that is highest on the scoring pylon.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Even if they're out of the race, they would be
the champion. Aaron, It's very simple.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
These guys could come into the last four places, but
whoever comes the first of those four places will be.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
Crowned our champion.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Hopefully that's not the case, and we get them racing
for the lead and good competitive racing from everyone. There's
one of our champions. Four to keep an eye at
number forty of Brad Newman.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
By the way, we were told that the lineup was
set on the qualifying from the original server before the
if you will, weather delay having to reset things again.
Here practice is about to come to an end and
the field should be getting set.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
There he saw, obviously Brad Newman, and then.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
There was Blaine Dinsley Dikes literally ramming into somebody there.
But all right, looks like this, yes, yes, sir, and
the grid is being set. Do we got to go
through the whole line up again? I mean, we've pretty
much done it one time. We'll show it to you
(12:37):
very quickly. But obviously Newman, Phil Sel on the front row.
Some other guys that I think will keep an eye
on are obviously your point guys including Tom Frere, Brent
Hopson on road number four, Blank Dinsley in road number six,
the top twelve or the top twelve starters, he's eleventh.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
So everybody in the championship four.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Qualifying in the top twelve first six rows, and then
you got the rest of the lineup here. Pick yourselves
out of winter. Like we said, there's close to thirty entries.
And and Aaron, if you're not one of the four
guys racing for the championship, let me say this. Let
those guys run their race. Don't try to be a
(13:20):
hindrance to them, but don't put yourself selled short. If
you've got a chance to win the race, and you know,
have bragging rights of winning the finale of the season,
I say it's all fair games.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
The field will begin to roll off Pitt Road here.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
My friend, Well, then you've also got to hope you
haven't upset someone throughout the year. If you all want
of those four playoffs drivers, you're right that you're been
all race under control. That cars cannot go below the
(13:56):
yellow line for the stop minis line jump with the
rules of real life Nascar, where they've got to wait
till they cross that yellow old to stop finish line
before they can really fan out.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
We take advantage of that Doug league.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Are we really going one hundred and fifty laps? I
thought it was one hundred and five.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Stage two will be one hundred and five laps, one
hundred and fifteen laps now.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, they changed it all right.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Well, nonetheless, it's time to decide a championship. Bmg X
Series R underway here at Phoenix Valley of the Sun
Tunnel of the line they were cream flagging.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Here comes the bond's eyes. They're throwing a caution.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I don't think that's an actual portion. Must still under
green flag. Another technical difficulty. Saw how much they fan
out through there. They're just looking for that line, ripping
god and making the move on Jared phil style. We've
got new up in the lead to complete lap of
wine a dog below that yellow line, taking advantage of
(15:06):
that dog legs just a slightly short a way.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Around the track.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Everybody ignore the safety card like that. We are under
green flight conditions. I don't know why it's showing that
we're three wide as they work their way down into
the corner.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Right now, Brad Newman not only looking.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
For championship, looking for his first win of the season
if he can do it right now. Two laps in
he leads him right now in a big lead over Gardner,
Phil Cell, Douglas and company heading it to turn one
and two.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Then further back at the back end of the top ten,
we have Freer, Densley and Hobson all racing together. This
is the view from the hood of lane. Densley, KYLEI stay,
Tom Preyer on the outside there, Brenton Hobson in that
green machine in behind them. So they are three of
the four cars you've got to look out for. So
(16:04):
they're gonna be looking at making their ways through this field.
See Densley making the move on Frea there just manages.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
To clear him.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Hobson's looking at joining Densley a little bit further up,
makes it on the inside of Frere. Push is Frere
up to that outside line? He might not like it
out there, might have to use a bit more wheel.
So now Threa has dropped from first to last half
(16:35):
to that pack and getting attacked by Sam Chapman at
the same time. So Tom Freer's car is just not
firing off white as much as he would have liked.
Speaker 4 (16:50):
Brad Newman. Right now, the man the leads the way.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
By the way, you see the scoring ticker drivers in
the white pie line. They're Nats and bold White are
the championship four and right now they're in the top ten.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
But Newman leads them five spots back from seventh to
on nine.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
It's Densley pops in three or down the back straight
away working lap number five, six of thirty five for
stage number one, and everybody right.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Now continuing to see Brad Newman running away with this thing.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
He's opened up to a second and more over gardener
Phil Sell, his teammate.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
Trying to get in the Secondy kick get him on
the outside out of three.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
Griffin.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
God knows one of the uh drive us that I
said might come here to swall the body. Not a
whole lot of movement throughout the pack, do you see, God,
it's just becoming a bit of the bottleneck. As we
see the gains and losses. We see Densley up three places.
(17:54):
He's the biggest mover in that top ten. Ricky hides
up five spots from the back. Brady Buldwin's up full spots.
Rankings up six Bots. So there's a few cars moving
their way up the grid. Had a few cars moving
their way down the grid. I saw Riley, Curtis Damn
fall spots. If we say Brenchon Hobson trying to make
(18:14):
your way around the outside of blame Densley.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
That caution things starting off. I can't move that.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Cause it's Brad Newman, continuing to be the guy that
is out in front seeing of that top position. Newman, Gardner,
phil Cel Douglas, Martin top five. Hey, it's the last
racing here. We've had all technical issues already. Let's have
another one and we'll still show green everybody. It's showing
a it's showing caution on the on the pylon in yellow,
(18:46):
but we're actually under green flag and watching all these
guys working their.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
Way around the racetrack.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
Brad Newman continuing to be the guy to say out
in front, look at Dave Douglas. Douglas, sit down, Davy said, Hopson,
here we go. Some of the guys at the back, starty,
you're trying to climb.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
You'll see a few of those guys in the back
end of the top ten want to really push their
way forward to actually have a chance of getting towards Newman,
who now has pulled out to a two second lead,
which all sages as if with Denny Hamlin on Sunday
night didn't work out for him, can Newman make it
work out this time around?
Speaker 3 (19:24):
The Gardener's just.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
That two second behind Mark and a huge freight train.
We see Brenton Hobson having a look on the inside
of Jamie Davis. There Clayton Davies, I should say, my
bad wrong series.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Four, little touch around the contack, another hit. He's going
to go after that outside ball. He's hit the wall.
We're still green at this point. You manage to.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
Racess any cautions, you know.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Clayton Davies into the wall. No yellow flag triggered. We
still stand on the green.
Speaker 5 (20:12):
Something's nut set over right right, But I don't think
that did trigger rage choice. But what I just can't tell.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
It is brand New'm still continuing to hold on to
the top spot here at the Valley of the Sun.
There on the inside team Connie as there's Chapman in
the one O one great head of the one twelve.
All this goes on for position in the top twelve
on the racetrack. As they worked their way again of
turn number one, heading off the dog leg back into
(20:46):
the corner into one and two down the back's trade away.
Such a unique track here once they reconfigured.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
It one hundred there is a track you just in
bought hard racing big bold moves deep dives, lunges into
the two corners. Whether you stick on the high line
and keep on that banking, keep that momentum up or
use that shorter dog leg upset.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
The car.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Meet up those tides a little bit extra. So we're
back having a look out the back of Griffin Gardner's car.
We've got Jared Bhilsal in behind him, and in behind
that Martin Douglas and then our three other playoff drivers
(21:38):
who haven't been able to make a huge amount of ground.
Just yet, little wiggle of the wheel, you can see
the sun coming through the windscreen there.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
We might finish this rain race in the dark.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
Now look at this awesome drive. Now this is, by
the way, the ninety three. That's Griffin Gardner in front
of Jared phil Sell. You're looking on board from the
front with the ninety four. He's got two wins he
won last week and right now he sets his signs
on trying to get around Gardner. Griffin Gardner the ninety
(22:24):
three for the number two spot. So we work our
way now in the lap number seventeen of thirty five
in stage number one give me a burrow. Thanks again
to Nick Berlin of the Burley Murder group we mentioned
that awesome vehicle you can get today is right now.
Griffin Gardner is working his way under attack. Behind him
(22:46):
Jared phil Cell by the way, that's teammate to Brad Newman.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
Brad Newman Gondo Aaron Dorman.
Speaker 1 (22:53):
It's three seconds ahead of this battle for second on
the racetrack.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
There's a glimpse of nothing but the tail late to
the forty shut.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
He's just bolted away from the pack.
Speaker 2 (23:09):
There you can see Jared phil Sell just now has
a bit more steam. He's going to make a move
on Drift and Gardener ever so slightly. He's right on
his bumper. They're both going to dive to the dog leg.
I'm going to see phil Sale probably dive it in
a little bit deep to get side by side. He's
(23:32):
managed to do that. That highline's going to get slightly
better run off the corner, but a little side draft
coming out.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Just allows Gardener to just clear in front a little
bit guard.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
They're taking that high line, trying to keep that momentum up.
They're both going to cut the corner there, Bill Sell
a lot more than Gardner did. Again, dive it in deep,
trying just ever so slightly game of inches around the track.
At the moment that outside line gets that running momentum again,
(24:10):
he's cleaned him out front.
Speaker 3 (24:15):
Another deep dive into three and four.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
There that's Phil South winner last week in Pocoo, got
his second win of the season, and right now he
is just trying to set his sights on Griffin Gardner,
by the way, while they continue the battle. It's two
and a half seconds now the inner cushion and we
are in the yellow area.
Speaker 4 (24:37):
Caution's out, guys, Caution is out.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
I didn't know what for Buck, maybe co something said
Cody jump in the pit.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Lamb caution out on the racetrack. We're trying to find
out what happened to put us under yellow.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
I'm just having a look at different replays. Seemed to
find anything. Does a bit of age Badie bit further
in the track.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Yeah, I think president, maybe this will trigger the first
caution of the race.
Speaker 1 (25:17):
By the way, I know at one time it showed
that we had a yellow, but this is actually the
first yellow flag of the event.
Speaker 4 (25:25):
There's a look at it, by the way.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Twenty two of thirty five laps, working lap twenty three,
Brad Newman in the lead, and here comes Tom Frere
on Pitt Lane. Other drivers find him coming down to
the pit lane as well. We've got drivers like Handy Barber,
Josh Ficklemore, Michael Campbell, Brad Right, Tim o'blooddell now airing
(25:48):
all on Pitt Road here.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
They're gonna have a lot pressure ties, but they're gonna
burn us set early unless it's fuel only.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Well, I have to see if the kind gets lifted.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
No tires there for Tom Frere, fuel and maybe an
adjustment on the car. He didn't seem too happy in it.
Lost a few spots early in that race to his
playoff competitors. This might just open up the strategy for
him a little bit later on last out of those four.
(26:22):
So maybe just taking a gamble really cuts it into
Brad Newman's lead there. He's going to have to do
it all over again and just try and run away
from this field. See Tom Frere now down in twenty
(26:43):
third place.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Is car shout on the restrack. They'll have to reset
things here again and still a long way to go,
by the way in this race, it is not done
yet and obviously in early caution we'll get things for
(27:08):
he said here in a moment and trying to go
back at.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
It again ten times. It's cruisible love.
Speaker 1 (27:14):
Thanks for all of y'all for joining us. Obviously not
done and thanks again to Berlin Murder Group. New stock
of all makes and models are arriving daily competitive finance
package just train ends or most welcome, and thank you
again to Nick Berling and Berlin Murder Group for sponsoring
(27:36):
the BMG Xfinity series for the Australian Nascari Series program.
Hopefully they'll be back in the new season for season
three in twenty twenty six. Newman Gardner on the front row.
This one has got less than ten laps remaining to
the stage the finale here at Phoenix. The field comes
(27:59):
to the line. We're caught back up now bring back
out here in the Valley of the Sun.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
See Newman got the good jump there, followed by his
teammate who's still working on the inside. Clear Griffin Gardener
this time around, look like you had the stronger car.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
In the end of that run.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
We can still see those cars are fanned out, a
big hit of the wall. There a few cars diving
to the inside, potentially missed, wrecked. That never seems to happen.
That one O one is very sideways, very high on
the track. He's gonna gather it up as they run
it down this dog leg start to run in single file.
(28:40):
They've got about six seven more laps to run before
the oh Husky.
Speaker 7 (28:48):
One of the championship drivers crashing Blank Densley.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
Around he's able to give away and I and Tom Free,
everybody got a piece of it.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
That's Scott Ranking. I can't use the overcade. Wow, everything's
smuckd up.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Cast it out for the second time. Unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
We see the forty nine of Scott Ranking there.
Speaker 2 (29:23):
I think he's going to be caught up in it.
A little bit later, we're coming around turns one. You
see in the background.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
There caution from Wow, and you're going to see the
wreck kickoff in front.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Trying to locate when it was.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
We're having a few technical difficulties lining up our race broadcast.
Speaker 3 (29:53):
With deserver.
Speaker 5 (29:56):
Come on so slow.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Here we say, just in front. The accident's starting to happen.
Blaine Densley gets straightened out a little bit, but on
the way through, Scott Ranking just cops a whack on
the side there and then I believe Brenton Hobson collected
the forty nine there, so he's going to have a
(30:23):
bit of damage on the front that's going to make
it very hard.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
For his race.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Unless it was further back. Hobson seems to be up
the front. Maybe it's just another car.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
That looks similar.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
It on needs to be restarted.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
Well, we'll get ready to try to go back for green.
Twenty nine of one hundred and fifty laps. There are
about less than five or six laps remaining in stage
number what, so we're not done yet.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
In the YouTube chat, Ryan Barber has says my onboard, Lol,
we might have a bit of difficulty finding the right
spot for that.
Speaker 8 (31:18):
It's not even trigger anything from race control.
Speaker 5 (31:21):
Midford up Ryan Barber did he say, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
We're just having a few technical difficulties. Like I said,
the broadcast isn't quite matching the server. But the lights
are out on the pace car. We're going to line
up two lobs sports these sports cars on the front row.
It's a long way around the track. One SAT pace
(31:49):
car dives in. You're only halfway around the lap, so
it takes quite some time for them to come around.
Jared's gonna have to be careful that he doesn't let
jumping from the leader and get himself a black flag
into the back of the grid.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
Brad's gonna have the chance of jumping in that he.
Speaker 2 (32:12):
Goes early in the racetarts there just please the people,
but we've got Griffin Gana on the inside of Jared
phil self.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Where caution on the.
Speaker 4 (32:21):
Month, please not back in our way. We go to
green and the quickly go back in the yellow flag.
But there's so costly.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
Yeahs, back to racing, everybody, Please ignore the scoring ticker.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
If there's a caution, we'll let you know.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
But you see it quickly goes back to green and
then it triggers a caution and there's no yellow flag.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Only two cautions so far on the track. Us out
of the teammates of brand newman.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
Jared phil Sell Pocono winner last week and looking now
Gardner three wide, there's one of the Championship four. Hobson,
the man, the meat, the sandwich of teeth and Douglas
and they're doring a door going to three Erran.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
In the four, you saw Hobson just backing out of
that a little bit, just playing the smart game. Back
down in fifth he's getting just hounded back there in
the crowd. You got double Day on his outside, great
head and bug. We see Freyer and densely lay out
(33:26):
back at the moment you have a technical difes with
the double dee blinking in and out at the moment.
So at the moment two horse rays. If Hobson can
chase down a.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Few moments, it's blinking too much.
Speaker 2 (33:45):
That's the distance from Hobson up to Newman hasn't quite
skipped away this time around. We're going to be on
the last lap.
Speaker 3 (33:56):
For the green and White checker.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Big crack, big crash.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Oh my goodness, Barber Chapman involved, Tom Frere one of
the Championship four.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Looks like Blain Kinsley might have got a piece of
it again.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
Also cast it out. Big trouble here. Oh my goodness, let.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Me think flying engine frown.
Speaker 5 (34:25):
Who is that?
Speaker 4 (34:28):
That's Barber.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
A massive crash, taking out multiple cars and some racing
for the championship.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
Here's a replay, by the way, that's Sam Chapman in
the one I won card.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Look at this, Oh my goodness, Chapman, there's Bomon. Somebody
got tag there Aaron and what it did. It just
started a chain reaction and you're in the middle of
the sun. Watch this right here.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
My beton not a laffel.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
So yeah, we might have got ahead of it.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
I can't select it because it's fucking so fucked up.
It's like way, I think.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
We're just having to trouble finding the exact spot right there.
I believe we're getting close. Yeah, you say, Ryan's out.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Lo there right here three whiles.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Yeah, and there it is the one O one come
across the nose of the seven, the red cor poles
in the twenty nine.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Absolutely Paul.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
And then Blade Densely. I believe Aaron that Blaine.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Densely stopped to avoid getting collected.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
But Tom Freer did get hit. Yeah, he got hit.
Look at this. Look at Blaine Densley car in the
middle on the right. Look at this. He might have
hit the hood of Barber.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
He was lucky to get through that you see him
locking up the brakes of smoke coming out of the ties.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
Oh he did hit the car. He did he hit
one of the cars.
Speaker 5 (36:26):
Oh man, Oh but not that bad really.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Yeah, you'll have a little bit of damage. We're gonna
jump back to the lost as we see the cars
lined up two by two. That's gonna have huge implications
on this championship race.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
So was that the stage break erin when that caution happened?
And they say that's the stage.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
That was the stage?
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Okay, okay, Lap thirty seven the stage. We kind of
missed that in our technical difficulties. But lap thirty seven
Stage two.
Speaker 9 (37:03):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
We're in stage two, the final stage of the season.
It's now Brad Newman Jared Phield seal their teammates. Brad
Newman looking for his first career win. Back to the
o'reileygh Auto Parts restart. So we're back to green final stage,
championship on the line for the Australian pmg X series.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
We see Cody Dees having a move on Brad Newman.
There all is off real high, real early. I have
a look at the gap. He's already pulled just within
that first lamp. The first time Brad's been challenged his
time around. We see him three or four wad fit.
Someone's loosening to the fence. They've gathered it up again.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
By the way, blamed Insley Tom Frear, both in the
top twenty. There's two drivers that are in the top five,
Brad Newman and Britton Hobson ready to bottle it as
Tony Deef is now the new leader in the zero
sixty nine on four.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
And then we see Brenon Hobson just having a look
on the outside of Jared philsdelf he can clear, Oh.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
Wow, what about them? What about we got coming up?
Tonight will be the championship.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
Don't forget the trucks their finale this Thursday night here
at Phoenix. And then don't forget Vegas for the finale.
No Homestead, I'm sorry Homestead for the finale for the
Sunday Night series this Sunday.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Cleve said, camera other nothing's working on.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Just having a look at the different came reviews and
of the views. Brenton Hobson just smacked the wall. Then
that's not going to help his run down the back
straight there he's using that slightly wider line to hopefully
carry a bit more speed down this front straight. Try
to catch Jared phil Sell so then he can try
(39:17):
it and make that move on. Brad Hume pil Sale
is going to play the team mate game and make
that loves E sports car as wide as possible. See
how much they've bunched up in the front. See Aaron
Boggs have moved himself up into six positions. Might lose
it now on the outside. Gardener has lost a few
(39:39):
spots in that restart. His car hasn't fired off that well,
but might come better on the long run.
Speaker 5 (39:45):
And Brady even say for the read.
Speaker 4 (39:47):
And got a battle for the lead.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Here comes Brad Newman down on the inside, setting their
sights on Cody Ditch Katy. They call him that the
chevrolee zero sixy nine throws the block. We's got smoke
up ahead, got a corner smoking on the pit lane.
We stay green down to the inside, trying to go
for the bond side and the dog legs. He can't
(40:11):
get him yet here. And if they're working two of
the backstretch.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
You say how much he pulled in the distance coming
into the corner. He's gotta try and keep that advantage
all the way through the corner. Very easy to overcook
the corner and lose a heap of time on exit.
As you can say just there might have overcooked the
corner a little bit. Cody Dates just a lot better
exit still say Hobson on the outside, still having a
(40:39):
little whether it can get past Jared phil style or not.
Speaker 3 (40:44):
It's very tired up the front.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
What a job, What a job, Championship of the Line,
the Sun, the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix Raight's Way,
and it is blinding these guys periphial vision down the
back straight away entering that nine degree of baking into
the third turn. And now Newman, he's got Phil Seal,
he's got friends, he's.
Speaker 4 (41:07):
Got his teammate, other guys. Here we go.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
The man that battles in another shot at the championship
is Hobson. He's on the inside, but only with great
head up top. Could it be Aaron Newman and Hobson
for the championship. They gotta be patient, by the way,
as we're still closing in on one.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Hundred laps to go.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
And I'm just saying on that goal ticket right now,
Blaine Densley, he's back up to eleven, so he's not
out of these races. Up to ten's now so you
can see the three names in that top ten, he's
not out of it. You'll be chasing down double day
of Dave Douglas and if they's a couple more cautions
(41:55):
he plays this time, you're on. He could be well
into this game. A little bit later in the truth
the race, he come preyer and the ticket one lap down,
so he's going to have to fight his way for.
Speaker 3 (42:08):
That lucky dog.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
See Newman just having a look on the inside of
Cody Death Now a little bit of an overlap, not
fly deepen up there yet. That's where I was saying
before you can dive too deep into the corner, lose
the energy out of the car for that exit. You
want to flow it in smooth. You want to do this,
(42:36):
Get up a little bit closer, Get up a little
bit closer to keep that advantage that you don't have
to let out the throttle. That was a great exit
by Newman. Didn't lose a whole lot of time to
Cody Deeth.
Speaker 4 (42:48):
Then here they come off forward.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
See everybody right down dos to tell it's a conga
line that could be your.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
Belt works to the dog leg back into one and two.
It's now detch.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
He's had some company by Newman, Phil Sell the teammate
to the forty, but ninety four is up there to
make it a three card dance for the lead, and
well that goes on Britain. Thompson is ready to pounce
on him like a coiled cobra in a three for
one special, heading the one hundred lamps to go here
at Phoenix this time by for the win for the championship.
(43:23):
And look at these guys right there up in the
top four.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
Battly, you say, Hobson just starting to look for a
slightly different line to fill out and just trying not
to copy him.
Speaker 4 (43:41):
Giving him plenty of room, plenty of room.
Speaker 3 (43:44):
As you said, there's still long lay ago in this race.
Mistakes can happen.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
See Newman, He's up to the rear quarter of Cody
D That allows him underneath might compromise his exit. He's
just going to side up him behind. The one thing
Hobson wants to see is a bit of door banging
a little bit further ahead.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
As long as he can miss it.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
It's a game of chance, it's a game of luck
in this game sometime, but you can make your own luck.
You see Hobson just sit there patiently. He's not trying
to be too aggressive. You see Phil Seal trying to
also buy into this game. Might put his teammate under
a little bit of pressure and just slow those guys
(44:38):
up and put him into the groups of Hobson behind him.
Speaker 3 (44:43):
See Phil sel taking.
Speaker 2 (44:44):
A much wider line than anyone else through turns for
him for there.
Speaker 1 (44:50):
And notice we're getting later into the afternoon as well.
That's something that we'll have to keep an eye on
because that will be crucial because the temperature's gonna drop,
the sun's gonna set, the lights might come on.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
As we said dorming, this race might finish at night.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
It's late in the afternoon right now, and they still
got one hundred laps to settle this thing.
Speaker 4 (45:19):
They still got over an hour of racing left.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
And that's gonna change the complexities of the race car.
They're gonna be chasing the setup through it. They might
want to tighten it up once the tract cools down,
or even loosen enough, if that's their preferred styllar driving.
Speaker 4 (45:38):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
They blamed Densley made it up to ninth place, got
last double d. Now he's chasing down the AA million
car of Fitzroy Beaumont.
Speaker 4 (45:53):
The championship race coming down to this.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
Not done yet, it is cap How about the man
right there, Katie Cody k diach Man, h Cody deach
is doing a phenomenal job hanging with them, hanging with
the leaders, hanging with Newman and Phil Sel and just
staying in line, doing exactly what he needs to do
(46:18):
and what we talked about when we came on the air,
where you know, you know, you got a race for
a championship, but you got guys that are gonna want
to try to win the race. And he's trying to
make some noise here in Phoenix to close the season
for the vmg X series here here and.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Oh what's a snuffy big slide today by Phil South.
Cody Dayson just joined the series for this round so far.
Whether he sticks around next year will be I wanted
to say. But he's in control of these rays, not
running away with it like we saw Brad Newman do
a little bit earlier. We say Steve Bill Salesky Hobson's
(46:58):
got a little bit loose there, so that's where I
was saying earlier. In that cool of weather, these cars,
they might want to just tighten it up. You can
see how much you might steering wheel and I think
Jared phil Sail is about the same, maybe a little
bit and worse. So Hobson just going out a bit wide,
ranking on more steering, hoping to get a good run
(47:23):
down this back straight, the former front straight of this circuit.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
They've flipped it around.
Speaker 2 (47:31):
Great Head might be having a look on the inside
shortly if Hobson's going to be holding him up there
is no favors. Soon we're going to have lap traffic
playing into this. This could change the perplexity of his race.
See him just up ahead, a few stragglers at the back,
(47:56):
looking over the bonnet of Newman's car to Cody.
Speaker 3 (47:59):
D and those lap piles.
Speaker 4 (48:02):
In run.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
He's taking a very small shortcut, Brad taking about the
Midden range but not diving right to that inside wall.
Rad's conscious nothing but getting off the exit as nicely.
Doesn't lose any grim but doesn't gain Oh we.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
Got a caution castion US out, yellow US out.
Speaker 1 (48:27):
Heading to the halfway marking about fifteen laps trouble.
Speaker 5 (48:33):
I don't know who's it for. It's possible got.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Some bad damage on that car right there, one of
the team Connie rides Sam Chapman. I don't know if
that was from before or maybe recent, but the caution
will fly here he said, the one oh one car
he is, uh, I think he might have got been
the guy.
Speaker 4 (48:54):
That got it. Let's watch it. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
it's Chapman.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Here. Watch the Reeplake team, Connie racing them for one
o one the Toyota.
Speaker 4 (49:03):
Now let's watch and see what happened to him.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
Remember he got caught up with a big one earlier
on the back straight away and Weather three wide behind him. Aaron,
here we go, boy Tom Frere in another car. We're
banking fenders too. Here he comes right here.
Speaker 4 (49:38):
Hit what we got?
Speaker 3 (49:44):
What?
Speaker 4 (49:44):
I think we got? Way way way.
Speaker 2 (49:46):
Ahead, Cyrus from my understanding Lap sixty sixty one.
Speaker 5 (49:54):
I didn't know enough for one. I didn't know enough.
So getting account SA we do have jobs in it.
Speaker 4 (50:02):
Oh well, we know it was Chapman. Whatever happened, it
was involved with the Winner one.
Speaker 1 (50:05):
You saw the bad damage on the back of that car,
and we got guys out of the pit lane here.
Lap seventy five is halfway of the race, sixty two
of one hundred and fifty laps. There's still about fifteen
circuits before we go to the cross flags of this thing.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
So the cause of that caution was Lucklan Pray just
coming up a little bit into the back corner of
Sam Chapman, okay, as they crossed the stop finish line.
Unfortunately we can't find the footage of it, but that
(50:53):
was the cause of the caution. Sam Chapman with a
very sorry looking Rice guy at the moment.
Speaker 4 (51:05):
Of the caution out here for what will be the
fourth time of the race.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
As we are heading towards the halfway mark, Cody Ditch
and Brad Newman ready to settle it here.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
And it's not over yet by no stretch of the imagination.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Do not sell yourself short if you're one of these
guys on the track, because there's still a long way
to go. What I do find strange, though, is you
aren't seeing densely get back into the battle. Don't count
(51:47):
out the twenty seven. It could be a three horse
battle race for the championship.
Speaker 4 (51:54):
He's in seventh.
Speaker 1 (51:55):
As we come back to Green ten to halfway. This
come by and there's five the lapse remaining of a season,
and you can.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
See Newman's lost the place to Phil sal there so
he can.
Speaker 2 (52:13):
Be under fire from Brenton Hobson in behind, who's now
ranging just to his outside. Hasn't quite stuck around the outside.
Blame Denzie's only a few stops behind. He's just chipping away.
He's up into eighth after that wreck a little bit
earlier on that big one. See Cody d just having
(52:33):
a look around the outside or inside of Jared Philsal
two wild card races. The guys are not going for
the championship, but the two cars in behind him are
that's the first love Ce sports car. Third, I should
say on the track the number forty and the number
eighty eight of Brenton Hobson.
Speaker 3 (52:54):
Are you two playoff drivers in the top four.
Speaker 2 (52:57):
You can see the sun just starting to creep on
the Grand then there these drivers will be very happy
when the sun sets.
Speaker 3 (53:05):
And that's no longer in there os.
Speaker 1 (53:10):
And right now Phil self is up in front, driver
Lee Chaine. Cody deets back to second. Now he's back
to third. Bran Newman Power's back and he's battle on
the inside, trying to hook up with his teammate, deaches
to meat in the sandwich and here comes Hopson ready
to pounce on them. Great Head also in the top
(53:32):
five team Connie won twelve on the bottom and something
happened to Dinsley at one time. Blame Dinsley. Aaron got
all the way up to six seventh. Now he free
falls back to tenth and eleventh on the race track.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
He might just be caught in the pack just a
little bit, Eugiebaji some jobs took pis ups the just
in battling with double D back there at the moment.
But it's hard to take our eyes off this lead pack.
See a little hit in the rear by Deethings and
(54:14):
Newman unsettled him a little bit. He seems to gather
back home.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
What humps and sum want to give another bomb at another.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
Bart nobs and gives him a bump into the corner
and then just hanging on that outside.
Speaker 3 (54:28):
Rear qord a panel. Remember you're gonna have a little
bit of a better run.
Speaker 4 (54:33):
Remember you don't have to win the race.
Speaker 1 (54:36):
You're just gonna be ahead of the guys that you're
racing for the championship.
Speaker 4 (54:40):
And Newman it hops it go three way with Barbara
on the bottom.
Speaker 2 (54:46):
See Andy Barber just bought his way into that battle,
just wasn't taking any prisoners. We'll also see the seven
of day snatting just sneak in there from nowhere.
Speaker 4 (54:58):
Unbelievable, closing in on halfway.
Speaker 1 (55:03):
Also three more circuits around Phoenix and there's another half
a racing remaining. Everybody, how about how about diego diego
Dan State and want to run for him? Right now
in the top five, Aaron going into.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Four made an absolute mega runs through turns ramfull that
made the move on Cody date. There is a few
people to decide to show up to the body a
little bit late about the battle eight than never Yuman
and Hobson is down to six and seventh now by
(55:45):
the way, drawing a battle for the lead.
Speaker 5 (55:47):
Bob has got fresh tires.
Speaker 1 (55:48):
That's why understanding Andy Barber with fresh tires, and it
is showing here Aaron coming to the front, by the way,
Densley outside the top ten, battle for the lead here
come still Sell dive to the bottom, throws the block
on Darverer baring of the inside. Remember he's not a
championship driver, but he wants to win the race.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
So the tie difference between everyone Phil Cell thirty eight,
lamps Andy Barber eleven. So that's why you starting to
see these guys. Snadden's on those fresh boots as well.
Dave Douglas also on the fresh boots. So you see
them battling these guys who have a.
Speaker 3 (56:34):
Lot less group.
Speaker 2 (56:35):
You see Phil Cell will right out wide there, Logson
and Newman just right up there together. Well, it's close
in the background Bedeeth there. Snadden's made his way a
little lead. He's just powering through with those fresh ties.
Halfway the best, the best of the old ties.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
Jared phil Cell.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
Seventy five town, I'm seventy five to go, and now
dang Diego Staton the lead Barber back a second.
Speaker 4 (57:07):
Here comes double d. Dave Douglas wants to join the battle.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
He's had a phenomenal end of the season. He's up
to third, gets around Phil sal Beach, Newman and Hobson
are now right there with each other in sixth and
seventh for the championship.
Speaker 4 (57:24):
But there's still another half of this race left.
Speaker 3 (57:32):
See Densley back up ten. He's drupped a little.
Speaker 4 (57:34):
Bit and caution's out. I heard the radio.
Speaker 3 (57:40):
Q Cody states, I believe.
Speaker 5 (57:45):
Oh my goodness, Cody Deep, please shut for a second. Yeah,
I got back in left.
Speaker 4 (57:53):
Wow, caution out. Let's watch it again. There it is.
He blink for a minute.
Speaker 5 (58:02):
Yeah, that's all it was.
Speaker 4 (58:05):
No, No, guys, there he goes. Yeah, there he goes spinning.
Speaker 5 (58:07):
Yeah, came back and craps.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Oh that don't want to bring out the caution made
an alum highway gremlin on.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
He's steering with a.
Speaker 2 (58:17):
Little something like that. Just disconnected. See Snatting coming into
the pit Lion.
Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yes, Snatt and Phil Sell, Dooman, they're all coming down
the cavalry behind them. Some cars did not. For the
most part, the front runners are in Douglas didn't pit,
neither did Andy Barber or Aaron Borg. But these other guys,
oh yeah, they're pitting. And there's still over seventy laps
(58:47):
to go in this race for the championship. We've been
treated to a dandy. I know we had a technical issue.
I know we had a weather delay in the virtual world,
but okay, mathematically, let to be honest here, Aaron Dorman,
Brad Newman, Britton Hobson maybe blamed Densley. They got a shot.
(59:08):
Tom Freer is pretty much shot. I mean he's in
the top twenty. Gotta have some things go his way
right to get back in this thing. Or do you
still like he's still or do you think he's still
got a shot? Is there still enough time?
Speaker 2 (59:21):
Do you feel, Aaron, if he is back on the
lead lap, he's one hundred percent a chance.
Speaker 3 (59:31):
At making him way back up.
Speaker 4 (59:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
So name Snaden only had.
Speaker 2 (59:37):
Seventeen laps on those ties or sixteen or so, so
that's very early to swap them out. He tied to
keep on the same tie strategy as those lead groups
of Newman, Phil Sale and everyone like that. So he
in fifth place now got the newest tithes of everyone.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
So the caution came out for again Cody Deetcho, by
the way, who dominated most.
Speaker 4 (01:00:04):
I mean he led a lot of the first half
of the race.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Tom Frere is being showed a lap down, but I
think he was the free pass.
Speaker 4 (01:00:17):
So he should, as you said, get back on the
lead lap here, Aaron.
Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
And if he does, then, like you said, player four
has entered the game with the other championship three. Again,
let's see what Tom Frere does here. He showed in
twenty first Cities back on the lead lap.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
That's all he needed to do. We sold call Lison
comes down from a lap down.
Speaker 5 (01:00:48):
Today's Tom free.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
And actually the longest lunch.
Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
Yeah, Tom Frere. I don't know if he's back with
the league lap or on. I think he's still showing
alp down though, guys back to green. He might have
got one of his laps back. God, Aaron, but he's
still a lap down. We're back to racing. He's the left,
the first car one lap down.
Speaker 4 (01:01:14):
In twenty first.
Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
Say, Hee'll be praying for another board where the breast see,
gods will not you can say how bunched up that
pack is. If there's gonna be one, it could be soon.
While everyone's ap GRESSI we see the move on the
outside of human.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Feel he managed to save.
Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
It could have been disastrous. Yeah, that could have been
big trouble. That could have been big trouble, Aaron.
Speaker 1 (01:01:45):
But remember it wasn't Brad Newman. It was his teammate,
Aaron phil Sell. Charon Phil Cell. And there's cuts dollar
tax they're crashing and this time it is Phil Sell
and some.
Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
Other cars.
Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
I feel so good.
Speaker 4 (01:02:03):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
Aaron Borg collected field Sale got collected.
Speaker 4 (01:02:07):
It's the soul did diego? Dane Staden? Wow?
Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
Brad Newman looks like to survive that line. You've moved
up in a second.
Speaker 1 (01:02:21):
This is the only way our audience watching we'll be
able to see what happened here. Watch this again.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
Barber is that barber?
Speaker 10 (01:02:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
Barber in the field sale? Feel so But look at
this well. Borg is already up in the up ahead sideways.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
Wow, I'm very lucky to make it through there. Neely
got caught up on the nose of Aaron Borg.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Wow. Unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (01:02:53):
Who was the other extent?
Speaker 1 (01:02:54):
Another look at it? Watch it one more time. I
think it's the forty three and the zero.
Speaker 4 (01:02:57):
Seven, and Brad Newman was on the bottom of this.
Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
Watch it up ahead, No, there it is Dane Diego
bumper to Borg and Borg goes around and then nowhere
to go for state, and he's going to check up
and hit him.
Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
Another look at it in real time?
Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Here it is, Yeah, zero seven just goes in a
bit hotter than the forty three. Forty three turns wow, wow,
and how close to Brenton Hobson right there.
Speaker 5 (01:03:28):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
It was only a few weeks ago of watching Aaron
borg racing the super DUTs around Bathurst with Brad Newman
well hanging out there in the crowd. Me Brad another
race of Trent Lavelle watching BORGI go around. He had
a lot of mechanical dramas that week and looks like
(01:03:50):
he's got a few more in this series.
Speaker 5 (01:03:52):
Tonight, I'm looking at show that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
Don't forget the try one, don't forget the trucks. Ladies
and gentlemen will battle for the championship. Myself and Dylan
McDonald will be with you on Thursday night and that
will be right here in Phoenix the Truck's finale, and
don't forget on Sunday night, that will be at Homestead,
(01:04:24):
Miami to decide the Sunday Night Australian NASCAR Championships for
the BMGX series has been treated to a dandy closing
in on sixty five wives to go. We'll come back
to Green. Let's set up your top ten. Dave Douglas
(01:04:47):
now the new leader, with Brad Newman on the outside,
Griffin Gardner, Andy Barber, Nick Ryan, Chared, Phil Sell Lewis
great Head, Jason Martin, Hobson and season one champ Josh Michelemore.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
We're back to green in the restarts.
Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
On sixty five laps to go for the race for
the championship here at Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
We see him all fan out, take that dog leg.
We're gonna want to see Brenton Hobson just make those
moves early. He's got to try and just close up
that gap into Newman who's now lost the spot.
Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
We see Griffin.
Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
Gardner taking it to the leader of Dave Douglas there,
who's been forced up high might not be as comfortable.
Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
Having a few difficulties.
Speaker 5 (01:05:43):
That's been the trigger League, So I.
Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
Think Gardner's just cleared him now and efficiently stack up
at the end.
Speaker 3 (01:05:54):
You see the two loved these sports guys.
Speaker 5 (01:05:57):
That's densely now right in the mix making.
Speaker 3 (01:06:01):
The move on Hobson. So he was never out of
this race.
Speaker 4 (01:06:04):
He wasn't.
Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Hobson's gotta be a dammy Johnnie's bumper there. Densley might
have just fixed up a little from that earlier. The
massive wreck that we saw about a third of the
way through the race. He has now has renching Hobson
for the first time this race, I believe. See the
(01:06:25):
human just kept pushed out a line there.
Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
Put himself with this opportunity to try and lock it up.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
Don't count out now, Denzily, He's gone around Hobson. Look
at this the twenty seven on the inside of the
eighty eight for seventh and eighth. By the way, Tom Freer,
he's still a light down.
Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
But if a caution was to come out, put him
back on the lead lap.
Speaker 2 (01:06:58):
You say, how difficult to be to pass here? Once
everyone strings out? See blamed Densley and Brenton Hobson for
the last few laps, just side by side, they'll be
going slide to.
Speaker 3 (01:07:10):
Everyone just allowing him going to get past.
Speaker 2 (01:07:17):
Humanship pulled himself up into second place, got past Double
D of Nitro Racing.
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
He's easy initials there on the hood. Chase him down.
A griffin, a gardener who was an early thorn in
newmo side.
Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
So jump in that YouTube chat. Tell us who you
think is gonna take out this championship? All the race
we had the racist stuffs the nation earlier in the night.
Let's do it all again.
Speaker 5 (01:07:54):
How about Kobe? He said he's back.
Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
Up look out Douglas sideways. He said, trouble Douglas.
Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Dave Douglas off the reservation for Justin bulm at Vonzeis
saves the ten for team night Drow and stays.
Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
In the gas. We stay green.
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
That was the costume that Tom Freer needed that he
didn't get.
Speaker 4 (01:08:15):
And now Hopson gets.
Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
Around Newman or is that actually Phil Sal correction? Yeah,
Phil Cel, Hopson and Dinsley going at it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
So Phil Sale's gonna be playing that teammate game. He
wants the always be in front of these guys, just
to flow him up a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
With that being dude, Aaron I called a race this
afternoon or in America last night, Monday night in America
because everybody had saw it's it's five thirty morning time
in North Carolina, USA. So last night I called a
race that was a championship for the Northwest and the
(01:08:57):
guy won the championship by virtue of a guy that
was a teammate that was multiple laps down Aaron, but
he helped him push his guy to a title around
this competition. We might see that again right now. We
see teammates you need to have, and we talk about
(01:09:18):
Phil Cell in Newman Phil Cell trying to hold off
Hobson and Densley behind him. Why because Newman, his teammate,
got a shot at the title and he's going after Gardner.
Speaker 4 (01:09:31):
And guess what the lights are coming on here in Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
See densely still looking on the bottom of Hobson. This
hasn't quite made the move. Bill Sales made a position
on Lewis great head there, so he's not thinking about
holding u those other twods. He wanted to be a
fire up in front, maybe to protect Brad Newman from
Cody Dats or anything that happen behind you.
Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
Play a little bit of.
Speaker 1 (01:10:01):
Defense, defense defense, heading to light heading to light.
Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
One, Densley still just knock what thing I would to
make that move stick?
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
Not likely yet. You're gonna run a bit more of
the dog leg. Hobson's gonna have a speed advance each
for running less of it, both about the yellow line,
both not flat down the yellow line drenching.
Speaker 3 (01:10:34):
You're gonna try and.
Speaker 2 (01:10:35):
Just carry a bit of momentum. You see that gap
stretch just a little bit, and.
Speaker 4 (01:10:39):
You notice the sun also. You notice the sun.
Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
Aaron has really got out of the view of the
driver's vision on the back straight away. That's a good thing.
That means they got clear sight. Now is a dive
on the back stretch heading in the turn three.
Speaker 2 (01:10:58):
But you make it very difficult to pick rag marker,
especially if you're under the boot of another car or
the Americans say the trunk. As Hobson hits the fence,
you can see a little bit of damage on that
right hands out of the car. Wasn't from that hit
of the fence, but he did have a hard lick
a few laps ago, so all kind of tamed down
(01:11:23):
a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:11:24):
Now they're trying to run through this fuel load.
Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
There will be lightly a one more set of pitch stops,
huge sideway movement for oh wow, Hobson. That's allowed Densley
to just get on the inside.
Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
Remember, Bade Newman doesn't have to win this race. All
they gotta do is finish ahead at Densley and Hobson.
Speaker 4 (01:11:48):
And he's doing that now with fifty laps to go.
Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
When they come to the line this time by Aaron
one hundred completed at the strikes him here at Phoenix
and now look at this Phil sal and Newman trying
to get around Gardner and now we've got that machine
of beach on the high side.
Speaker 2 (01:12:09):
I believe Brad Newman's not very happy of Ben Hey
and Cody daves Mott have some history.
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Hey, remember Cody beat spun out. He's don right back
battling for the lead again. He said second, and he's
got Newman and Phil sal behind them dead in their tracks.
Speaker 5 (01:12:31):
Si.
Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Newman's on the bottom. There comes Phil Soell to the inside.
Speaker 1 (01:12:35):
He clears the forty and look about Densely and Hobson
continue the battle. And Tom Frere today's Tom Frere. He's
just praying for a caution to get that lap back,
to get back in the dance.
Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
With under fifty to go at Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (01:12:54):
He'd be praying for a caution because you can say
how long needs to have been trying to passage, how
difficult is the past. There's not even half a car
wage between these two for the last ten laps or so.
And where we said Phil Sale might have been playing defense,
he's not playing defense. He's on the offense. He's moved
(01:13:16):
up in the third.
Speaker 3 (01:13:18):
He's going to.
Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
Chase down deep the gardener. That's allowed Brad Newman just
to come back into the clutches of Lewis bright Head,
who's kind of been ignored in the battle. He's kind
of just followed. These two are side by side. Advantage to.
Speaker 3 (01:13:42):
Densley.
Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
Now just got a nose in front. Sorry, sold my
words there, but Hobson is not letting him buy. Densley's
just finally got him clear. Took probably every part of
ten lamp. Densley covers down into turn throm full now
(01:14:03):
just two or three colin gap, but just run away
with it if he's got the better cow.
Speaker 1 (01:14:10):
By the way, I know that the broadcast stream says
Pocono Raceway, it should be Phoenix Raceway.
Speaker 4 (01:14:15):
We apologize for that. Oh but one hundred and five
of one hundred and.
Speaker 1 (01:14:21):
Fifty laps forty five remaining as we settle it out here.
Speaker 4 (01:14:26):
Tonight at Phoenix.
Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
Pokano was last week and Jared phil Cel won two
wins this year for the man that signed even a
full time competitor teammate to Brad Newman. And now look
at great Head by the way, trying to run.
Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Down Newman for this spot.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
And by the way, if great Head gets around Newman,
Aaron Newman, densely Hopson, they're all gonna be within a
Cat's whisker at one another to fight for the title.
Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
One hundred percent, these guys will be racing stupidly hard
just to be in front of one another. There's a
lap car in the middle too.
Speaker 3 (01:15:10):
That Mint just playing to recannock if you will recant.
Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
I didn't quite recognize the car there for a second,
but then you got Michael Moore and Jason Martin behind.
They're starting, They're just catching on the battles.
Speaker 3 (01:15:29):
The Gardener down to one second lamp.
Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
Look at this.
Speaker 1 (01:15:36):
This is, by the way, the team Connie Entry. That
is great Head trying to run down Newbody. What is
chocolate Factory on the back of the trick house Farmhouse
number forty Entry and great Head is linking his chops
ready to get a little sweet tooth on the forty Toyota.
Speaker 4 (01:15:59):
Goes on. Gardner is in the lead.
Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
Gardner has about a two one second lead over Phil Cell.
So we've got to continue to watch all these battles
going on, Aaron if they work again all four.
Speaker 2 (01:16:13):
See Newman just catching up to Cody Deeth there real
close in the back.
Speaker 5 (01:16:22):
Push does he if he goes around that could be
thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:16:24):
To River Whisper.
Speaker 1 (01:16:27):
Is that an expression Aaron put a horn on a jellyfish.
Speaker 4 (01:16:30):
What does that mean?
Speaker 1 (01:16:30):
Put a horn on the jellyfish? Is that an Australian uh,
Australian slang or something.
Speaker 3 (01:16:39):
Not one I've ever heard.
Speaker 2 (01:16:40):
You see the team Tonti. He's gonna have a bit
of momentum. He's gonna bar it up the inside.
Speaker 1 (01:16:45):
Here it comes great Hand right, yes, sir, and nobody's
gonna try to come back.
Speaker 4 (01:16:52):
It's gonna go to the crossover.
Speaker 5 (01:16:57):
Bro's coming in the background. Look he's coming in the background,
and look.
Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
At Blaine dans Lane Dnsley here comes to twenty seven.
Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
This is why Newman's trying to get back in front
of great Head. Every position, every car in between. He's
gonna help him try and win the championship.
Speaker 4 (01:17:18):
Blaine Denslink two wins this year for the man in
the twenty seven. Blaine Stinsley went back in July.
Speaker 7 (01:17:25):
He woned do contact Newman at Deasley for the title
and they have out ready each other.
Speaker 4 (01:17:31):
Rid of the inside wall. Jesus huge block.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Wow, human man who has also managed to get in
front of great Head in that mortyg Dodge really deep
into one and two.
Speaker 3 (01:17:44):
There just manages to save.
Speaker 5 (01:17:47):
It, and Miki's put pressure. At the moment of Hobson.
Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
River Whisper says, yeah, brother, a jellyfish is a soft
braw So if you could get a jellyfish, honey, you're
doing it.
Speaker 4 (01:18:00):
You're doing a good job, my friend. Okay, I'm confused.
Speaker 5 (01:18:04):
Brent Hobs got to keep making all be honey, him.
Speaker 1 (01:18:07):
Down to the inside, Michelmore's car down on the bottom,
trying the battle, get in the Hopson and all the
while Newman has cleared it Densely again. Great Head splits
him and look at the forty back with his teammates.
Speaker 3 (01:18:25):
A little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:18:27):
Coddy Datson just managed to clear Phil cell. Human's coming
up on his inside. Human doesn't want to battle with
the team mate Roight now because that's just plow in
the gap.
Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Right head.
Speaker 1 (01:18:41):
And for a moment it looked like Phil sal got
bux in of the high side. Here comes great Hand.
He was really sideways dirt tracking it for a moment.
Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
That puts two cows now in between Blaine Densely and
Brad Newman.
Speaker 3 (01:19:02):
A little touches the great Head and Phil Selg.
Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
You're getting a little bit sideways through turns one and two,
great Head's gonna dive it up the inside of Suram four.
Can they get through here clean? Are they gonna misjudge
the doug lick? A little wiggle up for gright Head,
it's gonna lay out. Blame Denseley to just get to
his inside for your bumper. Make the move on him now,
(01:19:28):
slow it up in the run.
Speaker 1 (01:19:30):
Look at that and put Tensley now back to the
number five spot.
Speaker 4 (01:19:34):
As Aaron mentioned, great Head back to sixth.
Speaker 1 (01:19:37):
A little wiggle and a jiggle, let a giggle at
a bobble and anything can happen. Heading to the home
stretch of this one now with thirty four laps to
go to in the season of season two, Yes, Rebel Racing,
it is five point fifty in the morning. It is
five fifty am where I am in North Carolina. Also
(01:20:01):
Gardner in the lead, Cody Deats back to second, Newman third,
phil Cell, Dinsley your top five moving a. That's by
the way, Dinsley and phil Cell going at it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:14):
He's gonna cost Biel doesn't come, you know, Aaron.
Speaker 4 (01:20:18):
I think WHOA.
Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
I think I think Dinsley's getting fed up because Phil
Cell's holding him up. I think Dinsley wants him to
get out of his way.
Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
Bensley get him outlay shortly it looked like he was
gonna give him a little touch.
Speaker 4 (01:20:36):
I think used the best of his unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (01:20:44):
Bill Cell is holding up Densley just to give him
a break, or that he's used the best of his
ties left to see.
Speaker 3 (01:20:54):
Collac he's.
Speaker 7 (01:21:00):
Is he going to five eyes off another car his
sideways he's crashing into Douglas and he's still on the gas.
Speaker 4 (01:21:09):
Densely damaged though, and the Cosset's out.
Speaker 7 (01:21:13):
Playing densely might have just got tore up from the
floor up and his championship hopes are dashed.
Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
Oh no, I don't know if he's gonna really light
that one, that which is a high one to cool
without the same like a good great play of it.
They might be some woods exchanged.
Speaker 4 (01:21:44):
We set up a replay unbelievable bling densely on pit road.
Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
Here comes everybody for the most part, onto the pit lane,
and somebody was mentioned in a chelly fish in the
chat box. Now we got crap walking by Dinsley on
the pit lane. In twenty seven he's Caddywapice and Tom
Freer will get back on the lead lap. He did
not get caught up in the caution. He's the car
(01:22:13):
lap down, he gets the free pass, he will be
back on the lead lap with the leaders.
Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (01:22:23):
I can't really get a replay on it because it's
way too far back. We'll be sitting there looking at
the laps.
Speaker 1 (01:22:28):
I mean it happened at lap number It happened at
lap number one one, nineteen one, nineteen one, eighteen. I'm nineteen,
Dinsley is in fourteenth the twenty seven. We're trying to
get a replay for you audience.
Speaker 4 (01:22:48):
Stand by.
Speaker 1 (01:22:50):
Oh my goodness, here it is. Watch this again. What
do you think Aaron Dorman set it up for us,
buddy him.
Speaker 4 (01:22:56):
And Phil Seil. I thought, you know, I said enough
was enough, and I thought that tippers were boiled.
Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
And there it was, say a little hit on the
rear bumper from Phil self, Phil sol giving him room
there and you see Phil Celth just come down squeezed
him there. There'll be one more lap in front still
save Phil cell I.
Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
Mean they're playing cat and mouse with one another. Bottom line,
Look at this right here, bam, that did it?
Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
Oh Densley went in deep then and then just gets
himself turned across.
Speaker 7 (01:23:35):
But he saved this, but he saved it, and then
he got hit by Barber and then he got hit
by Douglas and other cars.
Speaker 2 (01:23:43):
Oh man, he cleaned up a few cars, I believe
one with Cody Deats as well. So he might be
carrying a bit of damage because he seeing him outside
of the top ten now in twentieth, still in the
pit lane up.
Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
To Hobson now isn't.
Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
So it is gonna be able.
Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
Race two car races to the championship. Hobson, who's managed
to snakes through a lot of these little largie bargie.
Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
Back on the way.
Speaker 2 (01:24:18):
See Gardner get a reasonably defferent jump. Great Head's gonna
go with him. Make Newman fall back to third. He
might come into the clutches of Hobson if he's not
too careful. He's got Phil Cell behind human so that
one loves Esports car in between him.
Speaker 1 (01:24:40):
By the way, he's just getting the spot, by the way,
by the way, sorry, Aaron, I'm trying to call him.
Tom Freer is back on the lead lap. The Purple
forty one could get back in this race. Keep an
eye on him as we're under thirty to go here
at PHOENI.
Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
Got a lot of ground to make up. He's seemed fifteenth,
but only something bad happens to happen. You see Jason
Martin making a move on the outside of phil Cell. There,
human might find himself three wide if he's not careful.
Speaker 3 (01:25:20):
There's a oh whoa traumas oh phil.
Speaker 1 (01:25:25):
Cell very much spading cross it out twenty five ago.
Speaker 7 (01:25:31):
And they're trying to continues here in the valley on
the side as it starting to get dark in Phoenix.
Speaker 2 (01:25:39):
Here it is best so we see the seventeen. Just
take the dog leg and just drift up into the
back corner of phil Cell. Nothing feel so did wrong there?
Speaker 3 (01:25:51):
Seventeen?
Speaker 4 (01:25:52):
Just wow, wow, wow wow.
Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
Man, I think I think patients out the window here now, Aaron,
I mean you're starting to see where it's either you've
been holding me up or.
Speaker 4 (01:26:09):
My car is better than yours. By the way, big
thanks to the Berlin Murder Group, my new stock of
all mixing models are arriving daily. Don't forget to hit
that like and subscribe to keep up with everything going on.
Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
To the Australian NASCAR East Series Truck Championship Sunday Cup,
It's Sunday Championship as well, and don't forget thanks again,
Nick Berlin Berlin Muter Group, give me a burrow. Competitive
finances is and more? All right, Aaron, Tom Freezing Pitt Road.
Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
Tom Freya, he's headed down Pitt Road maybe to get
us Fred because he got the lucky dog. Yeah, last
time he might not have had the time to get it,
says he. He's gonna play a huge advantage.
Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
Left.
Speaker 5 (01:26:57):
He's out Dan.
Speaker 1 (01:27:03):
Wow, So Blaine is out. Two time winner this year
is out. Densley's run to a championship is over. So
now there were three mathematically that can try to race
(01:27:23):
here for the title. Understanding a lot of damage on
the back of Hobson's car, Let's take a look at
the rear end of the eighty eight and fifth there's
the damage.
Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
How will that affect him? What do you think, Karon?
How badly is that? Right?
Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Now?
Speaker 4 (01:27:40):
For the eighty eight.
Speaker 2 (01:27:42):
He's gonna have a lot of redownfalls taking off that car,
so he would be quite lose. But on this restot
he's gonna line up right behind Brad Human is he
gonna be a bit more aggressive than he has been?
Does he want to do claim looks like Newman's got
a pretty clean race car all around, doesn't look like
(01:28:04):
a scratch on it yet.
Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
Yeah, lucky Dog should have went to Dave Douglas in
the ten. He's back on the lead lap in seventeenth
and there he is right now the Toyota's super number
ten for night Row with you know, Aaron.
Speaker 4 (01:28:21):
I know you ain't caught a lot of races with
me in a while. Me and Nigel have been talking
about him though.
Speaker 1 (01:28:26):
Dave Douglas, I really think he could be a guy
that could contend for not only wins but championships next year.
He has really turned it around here down the stretch
of the season of the ten and he's not done yet.
Speaker 2 (01:28:41):
He just needs to get that good luck at the
style of seasons and he would have been well into
the playoffs with the run he's had lightly see the
car's very unorganized at the back, trawing and just make up,
you say, Tom Fridge just catching the end of the
field dead might have got a little bit of damage
attacking off.
Speaker 1 (01:29:00):
Here we come twenty two to go in the O'Reilly
Auto Parts restart zone and we're back to it again.
Ready to settle it here in Phoenix Griffin Gardner. By
the way, remember the nuisance he was for a lot
of the front runners.
Speaker 4 (01:29:15):
When he was up in front.
Speaker 1 (01:29:17):
Kiss what he's back again. And keep an eye on
Hopson and Newman.
Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
They're battling.
Speaker 2 (01:29:26):
Hopsince's gone when Newman's not, he's gonna dive in deep.
Speaker 4 (01:29:30):
On a three wide.
Speaker 3 (01:29:38):
And we see so also just diving up the and
so on.
Speaker 1 (01:29:44):
And by the way, Aaron, remember phil selling Hopson got
into got into it t other earlier.
Speaker 4 (01:29:49):
They had contact with each other. Oh, and look at.
Speaker 3 (01:29:58):
Who's getting held up on the Naughny.
Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
Free and all the while Lewis great Head is the
new leader. We're twenty to go here at Phoenix.
Speaker 5 (01:30:08):
Human's setting it the inside.
Speaker 3 (01:30:10):
That for the first time this race, Newman has had
a championship. Leave just challenge.
Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
He's up the inside of Griffin Ghana. We've got less
than twenty laps to go. Now it's gonna get Newman
into Ghana.
Speaker 3 (01:30:27):
Get out of my way. I've got a championship to
win now.
Speaker 1 (01:30:30):
And remember Cordner really was made a lot of people
check up in the beginning of the race, and now
they're tagged him in on different levels to get the
ninety three behind them as fast as they can. Oh
and by the way, Hopson Hopsen's in front of movement
for the championships.
Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
But it's not done yet. We're three wide.
Speaker 3 (01:30:52):
Oh Bill Suzmande's way back after that spin. He was
up there.
Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
He's falling back behind their bit of damage flow a
hit with its great head.
Speaker 3 (01:31:03):
Unbelieve there was someone in not great head.
Speaker 4 (01:31:08):
On board with Newman, You're on board with Brad Newman.
Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
The lights are on, nightfall is settling in in the
valley of the Sun here.
Speaker 4 (01:31:19):
At Phoenix and the championships on the line. There's your
two bottling Frere by the way up to tenth. He's
watching it in the.
Speaker 2 (01:31:28):
Rears, speak saying, von human through that corner. He's slowly
chipping away that damage on Hobson's cat.
Speaker 3 (01:31:44):
Will not be helping him.
Speaker 4 (01:31:46):
Here comes Newman on the inside.
Speaker 5 (01:31:50):
It up Hill.
Speaker 4 (01:31:52):
Hops it up high Newman.
Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
They make contact and somehow they stand in the gas
at fourth and fifth.
Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
Brad's gonna want to do this cleanly. He doesn't want
a dirty mark on this championship. He wants to clear
him out of the way, but not to send him
out of the way into a different post code.
Speaker 3 (01:32:13):
Huge crossover the corner.
Speaker 4 (01:32:15):
Then slide job cuts Hopson in the wall. He slaps
the out of side wall. He saves the eighty eight.
Speaker 3 (01:32:25):
Oh my goodness, se how much he's lost. That might
be the move that got Brad Newman the championship.
Speaker 2 (01:32:33):
He's got a huge amount of space in front of him,
multiple cars.
Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
We're within fifteen laps to go.
Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
Now, can Hobson get this back? How much damage is
on the eighty eight? Here he goes, He's got Cordner
to the inside, He's got Phil Cell to the inside.
Now they pull up in front of him and by
the way, Brad Newman back up to fourth. A couple
of cars in front of him, and now we're a
(01:33:04):
single file.
Speaker 3 (01:33:08):
Say big hit on the wall in the background, contact.
Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
Carner, Phil sail up the track and I'm I'm just
gonna get.
Speaker 4 (01:33:16):
Around them too for Wad two for Wad and he
takes it back.
Speaker 5 (01:33:22):
Yep, he did that.
Speaker 2 (01:33:25):
And then Phil Sal's gonna dive up the inside again.
He's just gonna lose that spot or lates a little bit,
what half the edge of the momentum around that episode.
It's old as cows a barn up the best as
they tell us. They're old seven eight lafts, old namp
but probably very secondhand.
Speaker 3 (01:33:43):
The way they're driving, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:33:48):
It all comes down to this, the championship, the race
right now, newman up in front, he's a fourth. By
the way, the leader is great Head. You can't take
anything away from the man that's leading. Lewis great Head
(01:34:09):
and Jason Martin on the inside trying the battle for
the win, the battle, the war and Phoenix was we
come to tend to go next time by out of four.
Speaker 2 (01:34:26):
Bunch of If we focused on the championship, there is
a race still be weund Head. You see Barbara and
five third place, nearly a second behind the leader. God
just managed to get back to pass Hobson. Judging by
that lead to town. I'm gonna see Jason Mottin just
(01:34:46):
have a look a little bit lower. He's Kyle's just
sticking to that Lolon. He's gonna drift up, sloughed the
car around the corner.
Speaker 1 (01:34:56):
Great Head, hit the wall, Supervelmentlion a team Connie won
twelve into the wall and here comes Marten running a
pounce on them with single digits.
Speaker 4 (01:35:06):
Now on the board at ninety go.
Speaker 3 (01:35:10):
With taking off those leaps super quick.
Speaker 4 (01:35:12):
Now took the little of the delay. It was a
delay to get going.
Speaker 1 (01:35:18):
Oh here we go, Micamore around Dumittman's.
Speaker 5 (01:35:23):
Back up a little bit. Hopson sent sit down the
ride there.
Speaker 1 (01:35:26):
Look Phil Cell and Phil Cell and Courtners separate. Hobson
to Newman and they're making contact. They're not friends. Hate
to go with Phoenix. There's wars all over the track.
Speaker 5 (01:35:41):
He comes Hompson, he's caught him quickly.
Speaker 4 (01:35:46):
Oh contact on.
Speaker 1 (01:35:48):
It's miself Gardner, Phil Cell, damn must crash.
Speaker 4 (01:35:52):
They hit the wall, Hopson, stay out of the way.
Speaker 2 (01:36:00):
Phil so much and caring a bit of damage that
that kind of looks like it's crabbing a little bit.
Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
You think you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:36:05):
Full in the fulling the clutch of the Fitzroy Beaumont
and look at that gonna allow Hobson.
Speaker 1 (01:36:12):
Oh there's Chapman. That's Chapman going out in there. No,
that's Bomont Bolon and Phil sal It's like a triple
thread bash Bor they're taking up.
Speaker 7 (01:36:22):
On the night infore and Phil's south says I've had
enough he's out of here.
Speaker 1 (01:36:28):
Phil Seal's done, He's getting out of the party. Michael Moore, Barber,
now Donald, this is for third fourth and Newman watching
on with the fit position and the toddle up for grabs.
Speaker 4 (01:36:43):
To get in.
Speaker 2 (01:36:44):
That human doesn't want to wow silly. He doesn't want
to get caught in any accidents. He wants to clear
everyone if he gets turned Hobson, She's gonna comes through.
Speaker 1 (01:36:56):
Hobson doing all he can can he get back in
the fight to.
Speaker 4 (01:37:01):
The line, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:37:03):
Five laps to go, the Tickers should be in countdown
node five remaining.
Speaker 4 (01:37:10):
Brad Newman trying to win the war.
Speaker 1 (01:37:15):
Well, great Heads right now leading the battle. But Jason Martin,
it's right there again. We gotta stay with both fights.
Speaker 4 (01:37:26):
To the leaders up front. Four to go and there's
great Head and there is Martin.
Speaker 5 (01:37:34):
I'm beginning get he gets possible me Come on, if.
Speaker 1 (01:37:37):
Newman could just save face where he's at right now,
champion for the forty right here, erin but Toalk's running out.
Speaker 3 (01:37:48):
I do see Garre Bill sails in behind him.
Speaker 2 (01:37:51):
So maybe playing that rig on of raleighs and I
after the damage were sawing not too long ago. Just
coming in the background right there, that other green car,
Phil South. We got three laps to Goman just wants
to kay.
Speaker 1 (01:38:08):
T Tom Freer, a valued effort all he could. He
is back outside the top ten. All these drivers watching
all of this unfold. They come to the line two
laps to go, this time by great Head and Martin,
(01:38:31):
and there's Newman Newman right now, two spots ahead of Hopson.
Speaker 4 (01:38:40):
Great Head getting ready to lead. His twentieth lap completed,
but he's also looking for the white flag this.
Speaker 1 (01:38:50):
Time by one more lap to go for the season,
for the championship, the battle, the War at Phoenix for
the season two finale, and great Head and Martin they contendo.
They continue to tango down the backs, trade away. Great
Head has got saving face on the twenty one.
Speaker 4 (01:39:14):
He's gonna win the race. But meanwhile, coming off of.
Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
Turn number four, Brad Newman stays in position. He'll finish
fourth enough to.
Speaker 7 (01:39:25):
Be the champion of the BMGX series in season two.
Speaker 4 (01:39:33):
Lewis great Head wins the battle, Brad.
Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
Newman wins the war, and by God almighty, what a
virtual war it was to win the title.
Speaker 4 (01:39:43):
In season two of the BMGX series Aaron Dorman. Unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (01:39:50):
What a finish to that race.
Speaker 2 (01:39:51):
There was contact, there was everything said by side battles
from laps on end becoming up trumps. We got Brad Newman,
we say his team mate drifting around the outside.
Speaker 5 (01:40:08):
Will outs.
Speaker 4 (01:40:10):
The celebration is on Brad Newman.
Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
By the way, do you remember the story of Brad
Newman in this playoff run? There literally was one race
where he had to fight and claw for every stage.
Speaker 4 (01:40:24):
Point position he could to win.
Speaker 1 (01:40:30):
When the season ends for Brad Newman, he is not
credited with any He is not credited with any race wins,
Aaron Dorman. But consistency at its finest put Brad Newman
(01:40:50):
in Victory Lane, and by God almighty, he's gonna park.
Speaker 4 (01:40:53):
It in victory Lane at Phoenix Show. He's the champion.
Brad Newman.
Speaker 3 (01:41:04):
I'm allowing break after that one.
Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (01:41:10):
Get the results up now, first place, the Lewis great
head stealing the win in out of the clutches of
those playoff drivers. Then he followed by Jason Martin, Josh
Mickelmore asked champion Brad Newman. In fourth place, Andy Barber
(01:41:30):
Griffin Gardner, Brenton Hobson, Fitzroy Beaumont, and then Aaron Borg
Laughlan Prike rounding out your top ten.
Speaker 1 (01:41:40):
Michael Campbell, Tim o'blundelle finished in twelfth position, Sam Chapman thirteenth,
Dave Douglas, Riley Spicker lap down in the last driver
to get the free pass to move to fourteenth position,
Riley Curtis Tom Freer will have to settle for the
number three position for the championship and the and the
(01:42:00):
Senergy number forty one Jared phil Sell and Nick Ryan.
At the end of the night, a lap down on
the top twenty will find the driver also of Let's
see here the driver of Brian Blundell and Cody Deith,
who led some of the race. KD finishes in twentieth
(01:42:20):
Blaine Densley. There he is thirty one laps down what
might have been the twenty one into the wall. Badly
damaged crab walking takes him out for the championship. Clayton
Davies twenty second, Diego Dane Diego Snadon, followed by Ryan Barber,
Joshua HoTT and Ricky Hyde, Brady Baldwin, brad Wright and
(01:42:43):
Scott rankin the way it ends. Of the twenty nine
drivers that race tonight here at Phoenix an hour in
twenty eight minutes, we were totally treated to a phenomenal race.
And again when it's all said and done, Newman is
the champion. Brad Newman joins Josh Micklmore as the season
(01:43:08):
two bmg X Series champion.
Speaker 4 (01:43:12):
Season three.
Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
I know a lot of people are just wishing that
it would start back up again, but there is a
little bit of a weight and we are taking a break.
When we come back, we've got the champion, We've got
the winners. Congratulations again to the driver the number one
twelve Lewis great head team, Connie Vermillion winning and again
(01:43:38):
Brad Newman and the number forty finishing fourth. It wasn't easy.
He's a champion. We'll talk to him and get his
thoughts after the break. All right, what a race, what
a battle.
Speaker 5 (01:44:00):
We can't drag it in the drops. I don't even
know where. That's right. That rooms all the way down
the fucking bottom, isn't it. That's right?
Speaker 11 (01:44:05):
The green rooms, Yeah, it's fun. They got the drinking
room is like down the bottom. You guys can drag
them as you need keet it done?
Speaker 5 (01:44:18):
When was the green.
Speaker 8 (01:44:19):
Flag on the white flag? Green flag? That's a little
fucking chicken flag, your life flag. I guess we just
go white flag.
Speaker 3 (01:44:34):
Much, all right?
Speaker 4 (01:44:35):
Got you all got a copy?
Speaker 5 (01:44:38):
Yes, sir, yep, all right, we're coming back live, so.
Speaker 1 (01:44:44):
We're gonna go. We're gonna do three two one and
then we'll get the champion. Okay, stand by?
Speaker 4 (01:44:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:44:55):
Five four three two one.
Speaker 4 (01:44:59):
Well, Ozsie made to maties.
Speaker 1 (01:45:01):
We were treated to a phenomenal finale for season number
two of the Berlin Motor Group BNNGS eight series. And
what a race it was to end it tonight at Phoenix. Boy,
what a fun one. Give me a brol today. Thanks
again Nick Berlin and the Berley Motor Group for sponsoring
this series. Night trow as well, and we will grab
(01:45:22):
the top three podium, followed by the champion, Brad Newman.
Collect your thoughts, we'll chat with you in a minute,
but let's go to third place. This is the man
from Josh Mickelmore. He was the inaugural champion of season
one for the BNNGX series. Josh, you know what it's
like to be a champion. Your take of this season?
(01:45:44):
The race coming up obviously with a podium to end
the year. Gotta be a high note to try to
go for your second title when season three launches next season.
Speaker 4 (01:45:53):
Good job with third tonight.
Speaker 10 (01:45:56):
Yeah, thank you. It's been an up and down ye,
but mostly has loads. But that's racing at the same time.
So now it's been been good fun. I've still got
a big week ahead of us with the A and
C this week, but we'll turn our heads to that
now and seere we go there.
Speaker 2 (01:46:16):
During that race, like it was a lot of hard.
You barred you anyone getting your way a little bit
too much.
Speaker 10 (01:46:23):
Or I was trying to get out of it. I
didn't want to get involved with the top four stuff
too much. But yeah, so I was trying to get
involved with it too much. But sometimes it's a bit hard.
Speaker 3 (01:46:36):
But yeah, that was good fun.
Speaker 10 (01:46:38):
I try, like I said, I try to keep out
of it, so try and give the top four a
good chart at having a race together.
Speaker 4 (01:46:46):
Josh, what's the come for season number three?
Speaker 3 (01:46:48):
Man?
Speaker 1 (01:46:48):
What you're going to be working on differently to prepare
for to try to defend your title from your first one?
Speaker 10 (01:46:55):
Oh, I just got to keep progressing, just doing everything
a little bit better, that's all. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:47:03):
I just do my thing. Man.
Speaker 4 (01:47:05):
Well, man, before we let you go, please mention your sponsors.
Speaker 10 (01:47:10):
It's gonna make the Nightroy Boys, especially Russ Massy everyone,
all the boys at have been working pretty hard this year.
So haads off to them, Jason as well, and all
the guys. No, I enjoined all that everyone putting on
the show. You guys are podcasts and taking out your time.
I appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (01:47:30):
Well, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (01:47:32):
That is the man right there that we'll finish in
the number three position, and of course when it's all
set and done, the season will end for him. He's
he's had success before. That's Josh Michelmore, the inaugural first
champion of the BNGX series. Let's grab now, Jason Martin. Jason,
(01:47:54):
we've chatted a couple of times, and obviously when it's
all set and done, you were making your presence. Felt
if this might have been maybe another ten laps, you
think you would have caught the one twelve Your take
though a finishing second, and I know it's got to
be definitely confidence moving in to season three next year.
Speaker 9 (01:48:16):
For the twenty one, Yeah, I definitely needed that good result.
I've had probably my worst year ever, so good to
finally get a good result. But no, I don't think
I had anything for Lewis. I burnt my stuff up
a bit too early and got the tires a bit
too hot and through that here and you're going to
struggle for about ten laps until you can cool them down.
(01:48:37):
So I don't think I could have got him unless
it stayed green for about forty fifty laps.
Speaker 2 (01:48:46):
During that last run. You kind of come out of nowhere.
Did you tune up your car or anything through the
pit stops? Like, how did you get that speed right at.
Speaker 3 (01:48:56):
The end of that run?
Speaker 9 (01:48:58):
Well, Like Josh, I was trying to stay out of
the way of the guys fighting for the championship for
most of the race. So that's why I'd lose a
bunch of spots early on the restarts, because I'm just
trying to give them space let them go at it. Yeah,
that last restart, I had the outside and I was
able to make a move stick and then I was
able to go for the win.
Speaker 1 (01:49:19):
Well, Jason Man, before we let you go, sir, please
please thank your sponsors and man good luck and join
the off season. We'll see you for season three coming sing.
Speaker 9 (01:49:29):
You just got to thank Nitro Racing for all the
work they put into the setups. It was a great
one tonight and finally got a good podium, So happy
with that. Hey you guys for the broadcast, and well
Don Lewis on the win, Well do mate.
Speaker 4 (01:49:45):
There you go, ladies and gentlemen, there's the thoughts of
Jason Martin. Keeping eye on him.
Speaker 1 (01:49:50):
I think he's going to be somebody to certainly watched
for season three when we fire back up again next
season in twenty twenty six. And now let's grab the winner.
The winner of the battle for Team for million in
Team Connie, it is Lewis. Great head, Lewis. This is
gotta be an exciting moment for you man. Obviously a fun,
(01:50:10):
fun time, a great race man. Your take of your
take of all of the craziness that's going on out
there for the championship and you're just trying to do
what you got to do to win. Good job getting
up there and getting the checker flag before the end
of the season, sir, congrats.
Speaker 6 (01:50:27):
Thank you very much. Yeah, it was good too, good
to end on a high. Unfortunately, I had to miss
a few races earlier on in the season, which meant
playoffs wasn't wasn't an option for me. But yeah, pace
sort of increased throughout the race. I would say I
made a few adjustments to the car at the end
of the stage which definitely tuned it up quite nicely.
But yeah, it was it was good fun out there.
Speaker 2 (01:50:51):
So making your way around, how did you navigate the
playoff four kind of thing? Did you keep out of
their way or you didn't mind racing them a little
bit high?
Speaker 3 (01:51:00):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
Now, I got a race to win, no, I so
it was a normal race for me. I didn't stay
out of the way, didn't get too too involved in it.
Speaker 1 (01:51:13):
But yeah, craziness indeed, Lewis Uh what what what is
that like? When you are trying to run your own
race and then you're seeing the crazy shenanigans, the battles
that they're going on all around you Obviously got to
hold your line right and just focus on focus on me.
Speaker 6 (01:51:30):
I guess right, Yeah, Yeah, I don't mind a bit
of a bit of buve touch in and all of that,
and just hard, hard racing, even though I'm not in
the in the playoff for I'm not going to do
anything completely egregious and just murder someone for no reason.
But yeah, it was just about just about being smart
and navigating it and knowing who's around you.
Speaker 1 (01:51:49):
Well, buddy, before we let you go, lewis, uh, what's
your take of what's to come for next year? And
in obviously, like you said, I know this is going
to be high hopes to go in the next season
and obviously a good way to end the season with
one win the end the year for sure.
Speaker 6 (01:52:05):
Yeah, So yeah, hopefully it's like said, pace has been improving,
had a little bit of a gap there in the middle,
had some personal things and holidays and et cetera, but
pace has been building back up again. So I'm I'm
looking forward to looking forward to next year. And then
obviously A and.
Speaker 4 (01:52:17):
C as well sponsors my friend go ahead.
Speaker 6 (01:52:20):
So obviously all the guys at Vermilion and Vortex Simsports,
how we work quite closely with them, tiam Counties and Performance.
They always provide absolute amazing setups, their designs, tocatshop dot com,
dot a u, Ben Forkler Media, Superovo Motorsports. Lewis great
head online coaching and obviously thanks to you guys for
the broadcast.
Speaker 4 (01:52:36):
For Lewis great Head.
Speaker 1 (01:52:37):
It is his forty fifth career start in the Australian
NASCAR East Series tonight to count the X series this evening.
Speaker 4 (01:52:44):
It is his third career win, third win, first of
the year in this season.
Speaker 1 (01:52:49):
To end it, he's got twenty one top fives and
now thirty two top tens from Western Australia, the one
to twelve of Lewis's great Head.
Speaker 4 (01:52:59):
Well, here here we go. This is going to be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
The man did not win any races this season, but
he was consistent to the letter to do all he
could to make it to the Championship four and he
did it to survive with a fourth place finish with
twelve top tens, nine top fives. Brad Newman is the
(01:53:23):
champion for season two of the bmg X Series. Brad,
huh have you had a chance to take a deep breath,
goose fra bah soak it all in.
Speaker 4 (01:53:36):
What's your mindset right now? Newman?
Speaker 12 (01:53:40):
Thanks mate, Yeah, good to just get it out of
the way and have it done.
Speaker 3 (01:53:43):
Good result. There's a lot of contact through that. Rice.
Speaker 2 (01:53:50):
Did you have any close koals and anything like that
that you're worried about could change the handling youkah no.
Speaker 12 (01:53:58):
I kept out of any dimensionally rolling around at like
eighty five pace for most of it, so it's pretty
hard to get into anything too sketchy.
Speaker 1 (01:54:06):
I tell you what, Brad, the race scene that you
had with Hobson or Densley or even you and your
teammate Phil Sell, I mean it was competitive, right. What
was the what was the the the pep talk to
your teammate right there amongst you to get ready for
this race to Night of Phoenix. Was it take no prisoners,
(01:54:28):
do what you had to do to win the title?
Speaker 4 (01:54:30):
What was what was the game plan.
Speaker 12 (01:54:33):
For him to go and win the race? For me
to just finish where I needed to finish to win
the championship. So nothing too complicated.
Speaker 1 (01:54:40):
Now, did that change at anytime where he said, hey,
I'm going to help you. I don't think I can win,
but i'm gonna help you. I can try to do
what I can to hold hold people off or maybe
make it be more hard.
Speaker 4 (01:54:51):
For them to get to you. And the battle between
you and Hobson, what's your take of that there at
the end of the race.
Speaker 12 (01:55:00):
I don't know if you had damage or whatever. I
just felt like I was quicker at that part of
the race. He could have had it assured something though
I'm not too sure. There you go.
Speaker 4 (01:55:09):
Well, listen, season two champion for the BMGX series. What
does that mean to you? Brad? Yep?
Speaker 12 (01:55:19):
Just good to get it done. Got a couple more
this week to focus on, so worry about those before
I think about this one too much.
Speaker 4 (01:55:25):
All right, definitely not a man of many words.
Speaker 1 (01:55:27):
Before I let you go, Brad, please please thank your
sponsor sir, and congratulations on this one. Good luck on
trying to grab the other ones. I think you're in
the running for the trucks on Thursday, and then of
course I think you got a chance at the one
on Sunday as well. Man, you can try to go
for the trifector.
Speaker 4 (01:55:44):
I think you've jinxed me there, mate.
Speaker 12 (01:55:45):
But yeah, I'd just like to thank you guys are
always putting these events on the guys that loves esports.
Jared for coming out and racing, Dean Thrower for banding
my hear for these races, and yeah, just to everyone
that makes this.
Speaker 1 (01:56:00):
I hope and old jenkshit it's been fun watching your
excitement and your racing. It's been intense this year, ladies
and gentlemen. You're season two of the Burley Motor Group
X Series for the Australian NASCAR E Series. It is
the driver of the number forty Toyota, So Brad Newman.
He'll finish again as the champion with again twelve top tens,
(01:56:23):
eight nine top fives, no wins, but it was enough
to win the championship. His over all statistics moving in
to the end of the season for Brad Newman career
start number one fifteen tonight of course, twenty three career
wins now, seventy one top fives and eighty nine top tens.
(01:56:44):
But most importantly for the man out of the New
South Wales Bathhurst, there, mister Dorman, Brad Newman will be
forever known as a champion of the Australian NASCAR BMGX series.
Speaker 6 (01:56:58):
Sir.
Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
So yeah, we just want to congratulate from everyone who
runs the series. From Nigel Jason, I just want to
say congratulations to Brad. We want to thank you Wesley
for jumping in when I vacated a seat to study
a little bit hotter.
Speaker 1 (01:57:18):
Well it was fun man, I definitely I definitely had
fun and I enjoyed it. I jumped on board here
what back in July, right when the season started. I
want to say first off, I want to say thank
you to mister bigglestein Hopton. He is somebody that I
could promise that I call a friend across the country.
(01:57:40):
We have called many races together on the American level,
and then of course he brought me in with the
Australian NASCAR program. I want to say thank you to
obviously you, Nigel Sedell, Aaron Dorman, obviously mister Jason Holdsworth,
everybody that is involved in what we do with the
(01:58:02):
Australian e NASCAR program. Hopefully there's a lot of great,
bigger things to come and hopefully I'll be in the
chair's lead again for season number three. I want to
say thank you to the fans.
Speaker 4 (01:58:14):
That you know.
Speaker 1 (01:58:16):
I know it's nighttime in Australia, Aaron Dorman, but it's
six point thirty in America in North Carolina, USA, I
had to get up at four am this morning before
the race started because of daylight savings time, so it
went from six am to five am to four am.
But I would not change anything. Aaron and it has
(01:58:39):
been a fun blast note out about it. You see
Brad Newman, look at this one more time. This guy says,
let me find Victory Lane. As long as I've ever
been announcing I racing, I've never found a guy that
had the fortitude and the want to find the way
(01:59:00):
to get through the parking lot, to get through the
pit area, to get through the return road and find
his place in victory Lane.
Speaker 4 (01:59:08):
But he did it.
Speaker 1 (01:59:10):
There It is Brad Newman, the BMGX Series champion of
season number two. Oh by the way, can I say
thank you also to Nick Berlin and the Berley Motor Group.
Much love to him. I've grown to have great conversations
with him on social media. Thanks for what he does
with the BMGX series selling cars and trucks new We
(01:59:32):
are used and we appreciate him being a part of
what he does with the Irace and Australian brand as well.
For everybody at the Australian NASCAR East Series, don't forget
the Truck's Battle Thursday night. Dylan McDonald and myself will
be on the broadcast call for that one at Phoenix
right here, And don't forget Homestead on Sunday, night for
(01:59:55):
the finale of the Sunday Australian NASCAR Championship Series.
Speaker 4 (01:59:58):

rest of your holiday season. Great Head bringing it down
the backstretch trying to hold off Jason Martin. Martin, I
think there's gonna be some big things for him next year.
But when it's said and done, great Head Vermilion Team
(02:00:39):
Connie comes off a turn four, takes the final checkered
flag for his only win of the season, and Brad
Newman with no wins consistent though to win the championship.
Speaker 4 (02:00:55):
Take care. We'll see you next season for season three.
