Speaker 1 (00:00):
Five, four, three two one.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
For many people, the number thirteen is bad luck, like
snake eyes at Vegas, playing craps for rolling the dice,
or Friday the thirteenth. I'll never feel that way because
my son was born on Friday the thirteenth. The number
thirteen is rained tonight as the finale for the Australian

(00:27):
NASCAR Championship, a wild card and the playoffs hang in
the balance. We're glad you're joining us for coverage of
Motorsport Australia ET Sports Night tro Racing and this is
the Australian NASCAR Championship regular season finale and as you
see on the big fat screen, it is round thirteen.

(00:49):
I am your American Australian announcer Wesley Outland. Joined alongside
in Indianapolis's Speedway Indiana is Dylan McDonald and also producer
bigglestein Hopton punching the buttons. Dylan, I think I said
all I could about an introduction about the number thirteen.

(01:10):
The true question is is at the end of round thirteen,
who is going to the postseason and who can win
DAYTONA good evening, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Good ending to you, mister Wess and you know you
hit it pretty much nail on the head right there.
I mean Daytona. Who doesn't want to end it at
Daytona with a band? You want to get that final
race win here tonight you all got to go to
execute every single thing, So definitely wanted to see how
this race plans out. Hopefully we don't get the big
one and everything stays clean and green, and I'm really

(01:43):
excited to see what green flag pit stops look like
here tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
We have plenty to talk about, my friends. So without
a further ado, let's get ready to introduce the starting lineup.
It is Zach Kerr on the poll for Nexus Sports
at Matt Danson on row number one, Josh Mikelmore and
Ethan Winner row two, Lewis great Head, Fitzroy Bamont on
row three, both for Vermilion A East Sports Academy. Brad

(02:08):
Newman and Wayne Birth may hit up your row four.
Jane Bowen and Britton West your top ten. Jason Holdsworth,
who's the all time starter of Australian NASCAR Championship E
Sports competition. He starts eleventh. Memy Richie will fire off
killing in the number twelve spot in thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
We have Sam Chapman alongside him, Aaron Gilbert in the
number fourteen position, Henry King in fifteenth, Tyler Williams in sixteenth,
Dave Douglas in seventeenth. Eighteenth is going to be Bretton
Thompson and running out your nineteen carfield not electing to
take a time here tonight is going to be Tom
Freer Chris.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Track is two point five miles four point zero two
three kilometers a lot like Indianapolis as a rectangle, it's
the trioval. If we're coming to Green the playoffs are
decided at the end of eighty laps two hundred miles.
We're under way here at the virtual world centered racing.
Hassy makes it, ladies. You have the virtualoice and the

(03:14):
ford of zach Kerr will lead the virtual thundering herd
on the opening door down the super stretch off a
turn two. Dylan, Yeah, looking.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
At him already, zach Kerr controlling that inside lane the
way that he needs to, but doesn't want to get
pushed out too too far to where everybody else give
former train and come all the way back up to.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Him down in a turn number three. That's a purple
twelve the P one car n P one cart in
the pun Nickelmore right behind her, Her and nickel Moore
right head leaks the outside lane off with Numan. Here
they tom thundering down of the line as virtual party.

(03:53):
The flag man looks on one let down seventy ninety
go top three, single file behind. They're coubbing to span
the door the door heading back up that thirty one
degree for Ma getting turn one and two.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Yeah, back there, just a little bit further than number seven,
getting stuck in the soucker hole, but still keeping up
with the draft as best as he possibly can. But
now you got Brad Newman moving up to the high
side to get a little bit of a clean air.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
And they'll work their way into that third turn. That's
Matt Dancing. You're on board with him now as he's
right behind the back of Newman's car. The farmhouse Toyota
number one. Here they come. It's now great hand set
Connie Shepherd lay to his inside. He'll try to close
in on the single file double yellow line bottom of
the racetrack formation is their cat fishing of Kerr and Nickelbourne.

(04:44):
That's one in two. Newman now trying to get something
worked on the outside middle lane. He'll get help with dancing.
We're gonna go, don't see, going steide by side two,
stepping up to make into two.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
They were again, Yeah, you see it there Brad Newman
trying to get a little bit of a side draft,
but doesn't want to get too too close and then
have that predictive neck code end up happening there. But
still keeping it very strong of that outside, trying to
pull the leaders back to.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Them another lap right now, as they work their way
again off the corner out of turn number four, when
they come off the trioval. By the way, the front
straight away measures at eighteen degrees in the trioval. That
is that trioval that is five hundred acres in the

(05:34):
turf infield grass in a one hundred and eighty acre
infield direction. All this going on is right now we
work back into the corner. It is Kerr. He holds
onto the spot. Beautiful purple car leaks the way as
they work two.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
You see if they're dancing, dipping out just a little
bit to get a little bit of nice clean air
on that car. As of right now, Milmore all over
the back number is Zach Kerr as well. So who's
gonna take the dive to get the clean air first
and who doesn't want to blow the engine as if
it's up at the front, it's going to create a
lot of calamity all the way through in the field.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Single file per Prr Mickelmore right there, and I'll tell
you what coming into tonight's race. It is Zach Kerr
with the points lead. Five wins this year, eight top fives,
ten top tens. You know he's going to the postseason,
mister Dylan, but he wants to have one more moment

(06:41):
under the lights, said Taintna and put another win, more wins,
more playoff points on the road to the championship that
starts in two weeks.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
And I think as of right now with Zach Kerr,
he's trying to establish that dominance like, Hey, I'm here
to get this job done and I won't stop till
I get it done. As he went up top blocked
the run from Brad Newman very quickly and he drops
right back down loan in front of Josh Mickelmore. So
we're already starting to see a little bit of a
defensive move from that race leader, trying to control both lanes.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Remember after tonight August seventeenth, in fourteen days we come
back and it will be the Lady in Black Virtual
Darlington for a one and twenty five laps slug fest.
By the way, I want to also remind you again
this race is going to be two hundred miles eighty laps.

(07:43):
There's no stages like we've seen the on the Tuesday series,
so they're basically going straight two hundred miles eighty laps,
five laps in. It's Kerr of the leader, nickel Moore,
woman great head hants the top five. You're on board
with the thirty and fifth. As he works back to
turn one, there.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You can see it there dancing kind of saw on
the wheel just a little bit, trying to keep it
as straight as he possibly can, tucked up right behind.
Brad Newman gets a good run off the corner, gives
him a nice little shot and now they're gonna be
side by side of going down the backstretch. Oh, a
little bit of a beaten and banging there, but nothing
too serious. New race leader going into the corner is
going to be the number one of Brad Newman.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Here they come in front of that massive Virtual and
Reality grand stand that sits a quarter of a million
people just on the hunch straight away, one hundred and
twenty five thousand. That was why all of that Daytona
Rising project work was done in the early two thousands
at the Big Stadium stands on the back straight away

(08:54):
were History, Sat Kerr, it is MIKEL. Moore. They're one
and two, top three single file if you think of Brighthead.
Add also bowing to the mix that the behind them
couple of tel Bring cars, Toyota's leaning the way with
Newman and Holdsworth side by side. From there it's chaos
in three.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yeah. After that little bit of a bump between the
two race leaters, the twelve and the number one, the
one and thirty drop way back, I'm surprised that Lewis
great Head decided to stick down on that inside lane,
didn't want to try to control the outside. But it's
still early in the race. Nobody wants to make those
daring moves as right now dancing trying or dancing and

(09:37):
Brd Newman trying to get back up there to try
to challenge for the race lead.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Once again, Thank you so much to everybody that's watching
b K Clarnes. Hello, h holy come only Newman went
after the noose and the twelve car really almost gott
sent in another atmosphere somehow, Major Tom holds on. Tom

(10:04):
Kerr holds on to the leads, that Carr epologies, it's
Tom Kerr and the but Tom Frer in the back.
We got a lot of pretty purple cars in the mix.
But man, I want to say, it's worth going to
a production truck and looking at it. But if you
saw it in real time, hold your breast feeling. That
could have been a disaster for the points leader.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Oh absolutely, especially being all the way up at the
front of the pack, moves are gonna be a little
bit more daring than what you wanted to be this
early in the race. You don't want to have any
type of damage that could be.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
He said, you couldnt get in this area. You cannot
come and make a move here access to night. It's
like trying to open your hotel room door thinking you've
got a green light and it flashes red on you
and you gotta go right back down the fifteenk flor
to the elevator to get a new green card. Right
now in his tur throwing the blocks on Mikelbore, great headed, Yes,

(11:04):
Newman on the outside is it is getting really good
hitting the twenty five miles in the Daytona. They're back
in turn one.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Yeah, very daring move. You've seen it there on the
onboard shot with Josh Micklmore. Zach KR's got a little
bit of a right rear damage. I'm not sure if
that's gonna take away any advantage to the number twelve machine.
Still looks pretty strong and pretty fast up there. But
here comes Brad at Newman back to the outside. He's
got a really big.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Rush an he's gonna get the outside it again.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
This time they're gonna put him right in the middle
like a hot knife through Bunner. Newman now upon the
top shelf. He's up against the safer barrier in the marbles.
Somehow the one tar comps to P one dancing from
fifth to second as well, and say Bush cool, good
chime around her hitting the lead. Is Newman going to

(11:59):
turn one in car one.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
Very good move by Brad Newman. He said, you know what,
I had enough of that. He's gonna take him three
wide put zach Kerr in the sucker hole. Luckily Lewis
decided to check up just a little bit. Let Zach
Kerr back in so he didn't lose a lot of spots.
But now the two that were pushing each other have
now split. Dancing went high, Brad Newman stayed low.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
And somehow, somehow Newman on the inside holding off Ficklemore.
Mickel Moore is the bmg X series champion of last year.
He's at that thirty one and now dancing up high
his Kerr house. Now gotta go back and play defense.
By the way, we mentioned a lot of ones in

(12:47):
the sentence a moment ago. That was also the first
lead change of the race. He was Kerr all the
way and to Newman and tar One got around him
and now he leads the cavalry town the back straight away.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, looking at it now, very good move. I'm surpriser
hasn't been a lot of lead changes here. As Lewis
decides to take it up to the outside of this,
this time going out a turn number three, so could
potentially have another lead change coming back to the check
or the star finish line. Lewis looking to take it
to the top, just not able to get there just yet.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Somebody chimed in and they said it is too early
to be joining this. Just remember there's some stages on
the line either two hundred miles Haiti laughs. We're not
even twenty five thirty miles into this one yet. If
they worked to the inside Newman back to the bottom.
Here comes great head for team Tonnie. He'll power his
strengths to the outside lane. He's got a pushbike, Dan sit,

(13:47):
a little wiggle to jiggle the gingle the bubble. Down
the super stretch they go and somehow they get information.
I heard cry to the door, empty pock locked place,
toyotas or the door to turn through.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
Yeah, if you're not entertained this early, then I I
don't know what else that we could provide to have
more entertainment here. You want to talk about early access fireworks, Newman, Lewis,
Zach Micklemore dancing. They're all giving us all the fireworks
that we could possibly need here at Daytona and we're
not even a quarter of the way into this race.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Danson, Hanson, Danson on the outside, a little, a little
shucking jive down to the bottom. Can they get something going?
It is Newman Newman, Yeah, dancing dancing to the music.
If you will part in the pund But now Newman
now and nicklemore we saw them be teammates earlier now

(14:52):
and Dylan there now one and two. So we watched
dancing fall back to third great head Bill Burts work
to thirty five miles here on lap fifteen when they
come to the line, yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
You you you say the teammates thing, and that's exactly
what they're gonna be. They're gonna be teammates, are gonna
help each other out as much as they possibly can.
But once it comes out of that crunch time two
three laps to go, you're gonna see everybody go whichever
way they need to. And uh, it's everybody in for
themselves at that point. So look for maybe Josh to

(15:26):
put a move on Brad Newman towards the end of
the race, if there's a move to be made. But
as of right now, you gotta find your friends where
you can make them friends.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
You gotta have them friends, you gotta need them. But
sometimes your friend might become your enemy. What's that old
Please say that old line. If your friend's close and
your enemy's closer, and the friend of my friend is
my enemy. So somebody that might help you, like just
take that opportunity away. It's like work their way back,

(15:57):
get a turn number one. It is new in the lead.
Look at dancing up high. They're gonna go side by side.
An outside lane is forming with those four trs up
on that top side. It's new, but lucked in his
Toyota's they warkof two.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
Yeah, you can see there everybody choosing to go down
to the inside lane. You only got four cars on
that outside, but Wes, it's it's really remarkable how well
those four cars on the outside are keeping up with
the cars on the inside. But they're well more formed up.
There's not a lot of gaps like there is down
on that inside. Look how big of the gap between
Lewis and mickelmore than Lewis and Zech. They need to

(16:38):
tighten that bottom lane up if they want to have
any chance of getting away from that top side.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Four point zero two three kilometer trioble here in Dayton
on a totally different than what we ran at the
two and a half mile Indianapolis Speedway in your neck
of the woods two weeks ago. Dylan my Banks, why
try at Indy high Banks here? Thirty one degrees eighteen
degrees on the front straight away, five degrees on the

(17:07):
back straight away on the super stretch at a one
and eighty acre turf infield five hundred acres, including of
course that inside lane. A lot of wide racing, we
can see her. But I will tell you this. One
of the things that I've told been told by many
people though, Dylan, is the fact that you don't have

(17:30):
a lot of room here at Daytona like you do
at Talladega. Man, you could run out of room here
very quickly if you get greedy. Night trow racing almost
set ups stop. It'sfinity Rock, proud partner of Australian NASCAR Championship,
and right now it is Newman leading again off two.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, you you hit it pretty well there with the
tightness of the racing. You know, you can obviously go
three wide here at Daytona four wide not gonna happen.
You might as well just chalk that up as a
lass now. Talladega, Yeah, absolutely, you can do the four
white at Talladega. I don't know what so it doesn't
really look any different from Talladega to Daytona, but four

(18:14):
white just does not work there. Three wide. It can work.
You just gotta really pay attention and see who's all
around you while you make that three white move.

Speaker 2 (18:23):
I should's indeed, by the way, we're live on Facebook
and on YouTube. This is again Australian Nascary Series, a
part of Utter Sport Australia e Sports. Sellen McDonald, I
am Wesley Outland. Yes we're in the United States. It's

(18:45):
currently six forty am Eastern daylight time. I just got
back in from announcing racist all weekend, settling in for
another one today. Gonna get some much seated rest after
we've worked with you all today in Australia, makes and maties,
and I will tell you this, Dylan, obviously I said

(19:06):
eight forty Australian Eastern time, Australian standard time. For them,
they are being treated to a fun fifty miles so far,
fifty miles in your top ten Newman, mikel Moore, great
Head dancing, the Poleman car, the points Leader, Gilbert Holtsworth,

(19:27):
King Bowing and Beaumont And honestly, any of these guys
can be in it to win it. We still got
a long way to go.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Oh absolutely, And I think after those couple shots there
to cur with the blocking and everything. I think he
finally figured out like, hey, you know what if I
wish this raised, let me come down a little bit
and just kind of relax, see what happens. He's currently
riding around in six position down on that inside, keeping
his cool, keeping his distance just in case something does happen.

(19:59):
He has an ex plan but the one that's all
overdoing what he needs to do is Josh Michelmore up
there in p number two, sticking with Brad Newman, not
letting him be feeling like he's out there by himself.
He's really sticking it to the back bumper came wing
to see what these two drivers do in are Is

(20:19):
this the point where you're going to start talking about
pitt strategy? What are you getting ready to do here?
Coming up on the lap number twenty Getting ready to
take Lap number twenty.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
Three podcast seeing if you choose to and fourteen forty
p pick the HD quality. What a look at that
as you're watching it in real time, it feels like
the real deal. Hey. By the way, speaking of the
great Australian announcer Lee Dippy, he is back in the USA.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
NBC Boom then Lead Afternoon, the Isle of going three
hundred and Lee Dippy will be on the call for
NASCAR as NBC covers the home stretch from Bristol in Australia.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Our buddy Lee Diffing. I was tweeting with him the
other day, Dean, Yeah, somebody said let's go tandem dancing.
I think it's time and we're about to go three wide.
As somebody goes up the middle. Oh, breen hand and
Kerr nick it up the middle. Now they go to
the outside, up in the topshell for Grandma bunch the

(21:23):
cookies from Grandpa to bet you, Mike Samwicht. Now Newman
on the bottom ring that sideways for Team Connie as
they final the one in the sixth thirty one in
the twelve you wanted tandem racing villain, They wanted it.
They dotted up the making and one.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Oh. Absolutely, that three wide move prolled out perfectly. Lewis
and Zach carry able to get around the number thirty
machine tucked back into two wide racing. I thought Lewis
had it there at the line, but Brad Newman with
that pointed nose of that Toyota Supra was able to
maintain the lead. But anything can happen. Everything's going to

(22:03):
change lap by lap. But to see what Lewis can
do now, is that cur right behind him and Matt
Danson right behind that curve.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Newman's Toyota super perfectly until green and blue down to
the inside that black and red and silver and gray
number six of great Head hitting a great bush by
the points leader that cur and it will move the
twelve back to the lead for great Heck no it

(22:34):
will not. They start to free fall a little bit.
It's snoop it on the inside. They're trying to get
a third lane started right now fifty miles in, but
I just think it's too early for that. They can't
get anything going for a third lane, And I don't
know why you'd want to do that in the first
one hundred miles of the rights.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Dylan, Yeah, absolutely, this is my time. If I'm in
this race, this is my time to be like ad
Jason Holdsworth or like a Boma. They're buying cautious, they're
being steady, They're just being patients. Patience. Patience. Patience is
gonna definitely pay off big here at Daytona. If you
want to ride, let's ride. I'd wait till lap sixty

(23:15):
of eighty to start pushing that envelope. See what you
can do, see what you can get away with. Right now,
only fifty one miles into this race, there's no reason
to be trying to put it three wide. But you
gotta see what works and what doesn't. At the same time.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
Now with that said, bright Head now up the outside
laying a push by tr Here comes Newman this dance
and this is on the outside. Meanwhile Newman Star the
one still stays locked for that double yellow line on
the inside. Bring fact since it started. Mike Goodness, I

(23:56):
don't want to chicks anything, but I got a feel
into the next ten line. Around forty forty five laps
into this thing, we're gonna start to say bring black
pitstops feeling and somebody might try to go for an
undercut early on the pack.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Yeah, with the undercut. With that, you gotta make sure
that you have some people with you. I know a
lot of people might do the undercut. You want to
at least have, I mean point proven, you gotta have
at least three cars with you, so you're making a
four car tanda to keep it in that position. But
Pitt Road is definitely gonna be another tricky part, right,
you know, you gotta stagger yourself. You don't want to

(24:33):
run in the back of somebody. You don't want to
speed as well. I mean you're gonna go from almost
two hundred mile an hour all the way down to
fifty five or sixty mile an hour and just like
a blink of an eye. So definitely gonna keep an
eye out for that once green flag pitstops start happening.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Now, that's exactly what we're watching right now. I am
Wesley Outwin, Dylan McDonald alongside big Oldstein hops in our
de Sir Biggles is having a fun time Daytona final
race of the regular season, Round thirteen. Your playoffs are
decided in two weeks and we're going to Darlington sign

(25:15):
by side, but Newman on the inside, Great Henon, Mikelbore
now battle for second spot. You've got kerr car and Holdsworth.
By the way, Jason Holdsworth the all time starter of
Australian NASCAR e Sports. Today tonight, Rason Holdsworth makes this
one hundred and fifty fourth career start. He's looking for

(25:38):
his twentieth career win. He's got nineteen along with forty
six top fives and seventy two top tens, and right
now Holdsworth is in the top five as they work
the back straight away Dylan.

Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yeah, we're going to the back straight away very well.
Another thing that I.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Do hold on on the what a save by hit
the grassless Holdsworth. I was only talking about your stats,
and Holdsworth said, trouble. He hits the tan of Douglas.
They sped to the bottom of the ape, thread back
up the banking. They're out of harm's way. I don't

(26:15):
think this will draw a caution. Nobody else is around
the heart break for Holdsworth in ten and Douglas Hart
Holdsworth in eight, Douglas and ten waste a green feeling unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
Yeah, that, Uh, I would just get ready to say
I haven't seen anybody pushing the pusher, And as I
was getting ready to say it, the broadcaster curse came
back and the kind of bit me in the rear
in there.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
But uh, such travesty for Jason Holdsworth and Dave Douglas.
Don't want to see anybody get taken out in that
way with uh, with how all that ended up happening,
But that's going to relinquish the lead back over does
that curve?

Speaker 2 (26:59):
I mean, I was just spragging about his stats. The
next thing, you know, let's starting, by the way with Newman.
Watch the replay. Oh we got trouble. That's good. Guys.
They begin to replay. Oh we almost go crashing again. Guys,
come back.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Sorry, what are you doing? No, I think that's the replay.
I was showing.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
No, dude, the leaders almost crashed. Oh my godness, that
was so close. Watch it again.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
This is the replay and they almost did it again.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Okay, watch it one more time. Look at this Newman
and then watch the eighth there's Holdsworth on the inside
and then up the racetrack into Douglas. Oh boy, Dylan. Wow,
but again no caution, no caution, And here we go again.

(27:53):
There's more contact. We just saw that right before we
went to the cook to the replay. These guys are
fighting for it as we get two one hundred miles
into this thing.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yeah, you would think Zach Kerr learned his lesson from
the beginning of the race. But I mean I was
to push the envelope. Heer really trying to keep Brad
Newman behind him. How much more of this is Brad
we're gonna.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Oh that's how much talk.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
About having shields go down your spine every lap.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
I'm telling her, I'm telling you, we're getting lay.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
So if you're Brad Newman Wes and you're behind Zach Curry,
why oh, there we go.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Here we go again.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
Nobody's giving Zach Curry bush. He's getting left for.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Dead somehow, trying to hold them off, and I think
he's gonna do it. We are closing in, believe it
or not, on the first one hundred miles of this race,
and Newman's car on the outside up and front and
looking good, feeling fancy free after Romo's having some old

(29:12):
chuck moments some moment ago there.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Yeah, hopefully Brad Newman's got brown or yeah, brown pants on,
because that was code brown from out four laps in
a row for the number one machine. So uh, definitely
good to see that he's still out there. A lot
of these are ever still out there, still running and
keeping the cars as clean as they possibly can. And
finally we get a little bit of a break between

(29:37):
the hard ship battles here as Zach Kerr fell all
the way back down to pe number five. But he's
still not out of it. Anybody can win, and.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
It so when it no doubt as we are closing
in on halfway, yes it is. The commentator curse. I
feel so bad. I was only bragging about Holdsworth's stats.
And then we had a another one has now Newman
in great Head. Here they come at full speed. Take
a listen to this such sweet virtual thunder. Oh you

(30:09):
gotta love it. And now great Head will go to
the leading of the sixth car who's coming to Pitt Lane.
There is no idea of knowing which directs that they
are going or when they're gonna show signs of slowing
into one. Remember there.

Speaker 3 (30:33):
And right now the top four on that outside, So
you got Newman, dancing, Bowen and King all up on
that outside. They have to try to make their way
down to that inside. If their pits are coming up
here shortly, and you know, like I said, going into
Pitt Road, they gotta be able to stagger each to

(30:53):
stagger themselves around each other. That way, nobody's gonna be
able to hit each other getting into Pit Lane, getting
any unnecessary damage to their race cars where they don't
need it.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
By the way, if y'all want to see something really
cool racetrack related. I don't know what what one TM
Eastern is in Australia time. I guess it's like two
three o'clock in the morning. I guess, wasn't it on Monday? Uh?
The Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Red still and are
playing this afternoon because at Bristol Motor Speedway, the Speedway

(31:33):
Baseball Classic, it got rained out yesterday, so they're playing today.
And a racetrack, it's having a baseball game.

Speaker 1 (31:43):
We don't watch baseball track.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
I love baseball. Don't don't hurt my feelings. They'll come
on we wa or Dean Right, yeah, there you go.
Don't watch kangaroos racing. Is that what you said? Okay?
Cricket cricket? Oh you like cricket?

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Oh, cricket the number one sport in the world for
viewing audiences.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
Killing Nascar? Was that Indy last week? Man? Were you
going to try to pop in or take it in
or looking at it or whatnot?

Speaker 3 (32:07):
Oh? No, I actually worked. Oh we go, So I
was pleasant. It's a two hour drive for me down
south to Indianapolis.

Speaker 2 (32:17):
I' you're in Fort Wayne, Indiana, right, I said, you
were in India earlier. My apologies. You're in Fort Wayne, Rumbling,
Fort Wayne, Rumbling, Fort Wlayne.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Oh yeah, absolutely can't wait for that to come around here.
That'll definitely be fun.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
Well, could you believe that we're closing in on one
hundred miles? He's dealing McDonald By the way, I'm Wesley Outlett.
It is heading towards seven am Eastern daylight time in
America for us, he's in Indiana. I'm in North Carolina.
That's all. Well, well, I'm I'm actually Pennsylvania, that's all
I'm gonna tell you right now now for down four

(33:00):
you guys, you're heading towards nine pm Australian Standard time. Man,
I will tell you this. Lewis great Head and Brad
Newman have had a slugfest here thirty minutes, one hundred
miles in this rice so far coming up billing your
take of it.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Yeah, absolutely, you want to talk about a slugfest. It
has absolutely been a slugfest between these two. It's been
a slugfest between Brad Newman and Zach Kerr almost kind
of like what it was last week at Yeah Yeah, Indianapolis.
In the week before it or a couple of weeks
ago in the tru or Exfiniti Series at Gateway. Everything

(33:42):
is absolutely beautiful happening here and everybody's kind of keeping
it calm as of right now. And I think they're
trying to figure out Fitts strategies here. I'm not sure
exactly what the fuel window is for these drivers, but
they're gonna be looking to see who's gonna take the undercut.
Like you said earlier, you can't with to see how
many cars go in with that undercut as well.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
This is the Round thirteen regular season finale, meaning at
the end of the nine the Bowers that be will
get together and they will tally up the points to
determine how it will shake out for the run to
the playoffs. And if you're a guy that's on the outside,
look any and if you have a good run here, Dylan,

(34:28):
you can put yourself in contention to go to the postseason.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
Oh. Absolutely, everybody wants to go to the postseason and
then start the playoffs right with a win under their belt.
Lewis great Head would love to start his playoff debut
next in two weeks time with a win. Have that
boost of confidence. I don't know what it is but
when you win just before the playoff or just before
the playoff starts, your confidence is on eleven out of ten.

(34:58):
You're just up there, You're on your high horse. You
feel really good. And I think that's exactly what a
lot of these drivers are going to feel like if
they get the win here tonight and show them like, hey,
we got pit stops.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
Out now we had a feeling that they were gonna happen,
and now you gotta make sure you don't crash entering
bed lane. Believe it or not, these guys went all
the way over one hundred miles one and two and
a half to be exact, they could possibly go the
finish of this race unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
I kind of want to know if Lewis great Head
got a black flag or not. Watching him get into
Pitt Lane, he kind of slid into the grass. I'm
not sure if that's gonna be unsafe pit entry or
if they're just gonna mark it up and say, hey,
no harm, no foul, you got it back in you
underneath the speed limit. Everything's good to go.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
So we can't tell you that. If they do have penalties,
they up on the screen right now. We're not seeing it.
Here comes that second he's like coming down pitt Lane
now the way, by the way.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
He's not gonna do live rice control.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Oh he's not doing Okay, there is live.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Rice control for Nagel. But he doesn't do the graphics.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
I got you. He doesn't do like Jason does. I
got you, I got no. He doesn't dancing Newman Bowen,
bowing West. Everybody's on pitt Lane, top ten on pit Road,
and here comes down Micklemore bmg X series pamphion. By
the way, join us for the Burley Modern Group Australia

(36:37):
Dash for reason. Now remember you gotta stay below the
W line and you gotta wait till you get to
the blend line on the back straight away. If you
jump it, you will sustain a penalty.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
This is the only bad part with Josh Micklemore is
he has no help. And now you got Matt Danson
right on the bad bumper of b Newman. That's gonna
be Brad Newman's best friend. It's it's gonna be your
lover boy, as a lot of people will say, he
is gonna be there through everything and help him get
back up to Micklemore. But here comes the head in

(37:16):
one lap earlier, pitcht.

Speaker 1 (37:18):
Up earlier worked.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Oh my goodness, look at this and I look at
great head backed in the saddle again, and look at
these guys. They're all stacked up with one another. Here
by the way, the loud we got trouble around and
the grass is nickelboy, and so it's on mickleborees, it
is Wicklebore. He's on prey Ryman. Somebody's fun, somebody's spun.

(37:40):
I just don't know what happened.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
So fast pits he didn't.

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Fitzroy Beaumont, the one that went around and still feeling
now costing is wearing the second hundred miles of this race.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yeah, quick and easy to get locked up there down
into the grass. Brad Newman just caught just the littlest
bit of the number sixteen, sent him on a round.
He's able to keep it out of the way of
the other drivers. But now look who's back in front
of the number one. It's Zach Kerr.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
What is it gonna take? Look at them? Now her
back in front the points later again he's got Newman
to the outside, runs for the left to be chuckers
for the ride on Motorsport Austraga East Sports tonight from
Daytona and look at Newman and Kerr side by side, Jansonent,

(38:33):
great Head Park, the Chicago Street Race winner and Bowen
right there we're top four going to the one to
the back straight away.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Yeah. I don't know about you. Looking at it now,
I think Newman's starting to get a little bit irritated
with Zach Kerr blocking the whole race. Or it might
just be having a little bit of fun out there.
You may never know, but I can tell you what.
Brad Newman not one to one to push number twelve machine.
He's like, hey, you know what you get throwing them blocks.
I'm going to feed you to the cucer hole. I'm

(39:05):
gonna get around you one way or another.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
I have how much the race too?

Speaker 2 (39:14):
What is going to happen? Now? As they worked their
way again another lap, We're in the second half of
this race. You're top ten right now, it's Sack Carr,
the Ford in front, Lewis, great Head, Bradda. Now there's contacts,
Sack car, sideways, Newman, loose car, spinning inside the racetrack. Heavy,

(39:40):
You're still not throwing a yellow flag. Find the love
of humanity of all life Australian people throwing a caution.
I've saw twice now you should throw the Banana Republic
flag on Barney to your job. Look at this a man.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Bang, it's still green.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
Tom Frere getting involved in that as well. Hate to
see it for Tom Frere.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
I mean, is Guardian striking? We didn't get the memo.

Speaker 1 (40:19):
It's it's not so you gotta talk to him. He's
probably have feeding the cows.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
Oh correction, it was not Tom Frere. Tom Freir is
still beautiful purple cars. I couldn't. I just happened to
see purple.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Yeah, I agree with you. I saw I just saw it.
I saw just a purple car. I want to say
it was Richie beat beat, Richie beat beat.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
It's still devastating. There obviously a lot of torn up
race cars. Brad Newman's got tore up race car as
if right now. But looking at Wayne Burke all over
the back bumper of the number six of lewis greathead
louis as of right now as we take a look
at the replay is a oh yeah, big.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Block, Come on brother, look at that?

Speaker 1 (41:17):
How did Neman survive that? And then.

Speaker 3 (41:21):
Guys bound dances doing the dosey dough. Yeah, that the
hokey pokey.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
I'm turning yourself around.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
Yeah all about it definitely sucks for a Matt dancing.
He was having such a great run all the way
in and through just half that ended up happening. Ah,
a lot of tour up race cars just in that
little incident there.

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Last two costumes. You would think you would throw the
yellow flag, but they didn't. They're they're having him rice
at it. But we see two hundred miles contient free pillin.
Are are we over exaggerating that that might look possibly
kill a reality thirty to go or hew, are you
lot fifty one hundred and twenty five miles in then

(42:09):
this thing?

Speaker 3 (42:12):
Yeah? I think maybe if the res keep happening but
they're not on the racing surface and they're out of
the way, I could definitely see the race staying completely
green and uh not having that yellow flag come out.
But something's got to give, especially whenever you have a
couple of cars down on the inside. Anything could have happened.

(42:33):
Luckily nobody came up back onto the racetrack, but anything
can happen. Maybe a little bit of a competition yellow
to bring everybody back, get everybody regrouped and get their
kind of modio back in a way to bring these
guys back to back together.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Back to black not Sport Australia. If you like to
know more information on them, go to Motorsport Australia. You
give him a like to got twenty nine thousand people.
Then while you're doing that, we're on the road to
three thousand for the Australian NASCAR E Series. Let me
thanks to Night's row Racing, herdful setups, dirt pment, hooble track,

(43:17):
top cars, you name it. Join the Knights ro Racing Garage.
There's the road course winner at the Chicago Street Race,
Wayne Burn. He's now second. He finals great head for
the leaders. We're top five pros. Torn a door, that's
your top ten going to the backstretch, dealing going to three.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Yeah, right here. Everybody in this front pack other than
Josh Micklemore is on the lead laft so Josh Mickelmore
just they're kind of being there in the middle just
case something does happen in a yellow flight comes out.
He doesn't want to make any contact with a wall
or a car or anything. Just supposed to be able
to be there, get his lap back. If a caution

(43:58):
does end up coming out is lack, be back on
the lead lap and see what that number thirty one
machine can do. Like you said, we got thirty laps
to go. This is where it can make or break
your race. Where do you want to go, how do
you want to do it, and how much strategy are
you going to put into making that run into getting
that next checkered flag.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
There's the weather conditions, by the way, just checking that
out right now, partly cloude conditions eighty one.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Degrees with a chance of meat.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Ambient temperature outside in sim time it is eighty three
degrees heading towards eighty two degrees, twenty eight celsias fortract
him and we were heading to one hundred and twenty
five miles completed and thirty laps to go. This race

(45:00):
totally knock the hell out of me. Aussie makes it made.
So I'm not gonna lie to you. And right now
we're seeing great head have the opportunity so lead this
thing now as they work side by side, working door
to door. Now back to turn three and hey, look
you're inside the top nine, top ten right there. You've

(45:20):
got a chance to win this rights here now.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
That Dylan, absolutely you can win it from tenth position.
You just gotta put yourself in that position. Tom Freer
started from the back of the field. He's all the
way up to eighth position. So if there's anybody that
can do it, it's gonna me personally, I'm gonna say,
somebody in the back of this pack is gonna be

(45:43):
so Tom Frere or even I believe it is, uh oh,
the eighty eight, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
His name is brend Hopson, Brent Hoopson, Brent Thompson.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
So I mean, you know, I always go for the
guys that are in the back the pack. Do you
never want to be the race leader at any type
of super speedway. I always go for the guys in
the back of the pack because one, it's always fun
to pass other people seek then pass all the people
to see what kind of runs they can generate. But
like you said, Wes, anybody in this top ten up
here can get the race win.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
Wesley, Jason just told me the great Head count is
not playable.

Speaker 2 (46:22):
Eligible, and I'm understanding that great Head and Burke for
that matter, I don't believe. I don't think Wane. Burke's
eligible either. He won the race, and he was telling
us that he wasn't a well, actually he's second to
the wind standing with one win. But I know great
Head is not playoff eligible. He does have one win
already this year, trying to go for a second. But

(46:44):
looked at now Burt, great Head and Burke right now
teammates for Team Donnie. A couple of Chevrolet Camaros up
in the front as we head in for the final.
I can't believe I'm saying this that we're heading into
the final twenty five laps and seventy five miles of

(47:08):
this thing.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
Okay, you see it there, the Vermilion Esports cars controlling
the inside and outside lane. Total team control, as one
could say. And then he got Ethan Winter on the outside.
And then he got Zach Kerr on the inside. So
two by two by two by two, four rows deep,

(47:31):
side by side, anything can happen. And then he got
Josh Mickelmore, the one car that has one lap down
plane spoiler, who is a lapped out car going to
go with when the time comes at the end of.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
This race, said Barney, this is what I want you
to do, my friend, I want you to fall onto
the flag stand. I want you to be like I
want you to be like Michael Walter. But the All
Star Race at North Wiltborol and drop a content fly
because we need one good googly moo.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
As Dean said, Hodge, Oh you Americans, you can't have
a rice green fighting all the way?

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Can you gotta have?

Speaker 7 (48:15):
You know?

Speaker 2 (48:15):
I mean I gotta because I'm just I can't believe it.
There's been two cautions. It should have been cautions and
they weren't cautions, but they're like hell, then I wanted
to make this be a two hundred mile cause of
free race. Well they're doing it. Can you believe that
we ran a total of fifty five of eighty laps

(48:36):
and it's forty five minutes since we dropped the green, Dalan, unbelievable.
This might be the fastest two hundred mile race in
history of NASCAR, eat sports.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Oh things in Australia. Quickly you say it.

Speaker 3 (48:49):
Was gonna be some fun, watch thinking man the whole way.
It's it's it's gonna be remarkable. The last time that
a plate track has went completely green was back of
the nineties. No stages, no nothing, and I believe, if
my memory serves me right, I believe Mark Martin that

(49:10):
race back in the older days. I think I can't
really jog it that much. But huh.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
If it goes the way Douglas this out, Douglas this out,
then he's ready to go Aussie happy gilmour on everybody.
He's going to go play golfs and look out, everybody,
remember Douglas yell form great heads burn and yeah, I
mean look at this. Yeah, happy place. Gotta find your

(49:42):
happy place with the half naked lingerie women and holding
beer mugs. There you go, even even tho Ozsie's and
Americans love that, right, all you men out there, just
just just just great hand in the lead man, he
hold on, Hey, it's my happy place, okay, so don't
sue me.

Speaker 4 (50:01):
It's Dylan happy, happy place with a marketphone and D
five hundred.

Speaker 2 (50:08):
That's right, great head on the inside curve man. What
a job for the P one card, the points leader
going into the playoffs having a good run. He had
some scares earlier, Zach Kerr. But right now he is
in the second spot and we're heading into the final
fifty miles in its race. Unbelievable Dylan McDonalds are heading

(50:30):
your way back.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
In one days there, Zacherr had the smallest opportunity to
take it back up by and get that clean air.
I think maybe possibly lose oh.

Speaker 8 (50:49):
For Freer Tom Frere Major Tom ground control. You're spitting
on the back stretch. And finally the first cost of
the night is out in Daytona.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
Destroyed. No Ah, No.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
For everybody that wanted an Australian yellow flag to come out,
you got one. Here's a replay. I literally Dilan said,
beat beat Richie because lap traffic was really off the
face of the outside lane. And then all of a
sudden he tags the right zero three.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
Zero three hits.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
In the right rear, nowhere to go double right rear,
causing effect domino caution and we're under yellow fly with
the box trade away. Unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
Yeah, definitely not what a lot of these drivers wanted
to see.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
But hold tark.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
It kind of allows us to catch our breath a
little bit here with me. Anything happened there in another grip.

Speaker 1 (52:03):
It was the let that I'm trying to tell you.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
Ritchie, the Richie car hit the zero THREEES car of
Aaron Gilbert and then he hit the right rear of
the forty one a time three. Watch it again. It's
the right rear effect. Look at this. Every every action
has a positive and in this case, the negative reaction.
And that's exactly Dylan what happened in another guy in

(52:27):
the back had nowhere to go when he went spinning
to look at that. Gilbert beat Richie.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Take anybody else?

Speaker 2 (52:36):
He got hit twice, man, you know they gotta look
at that, Richie. Richie calls the accident Dylan, And at
the end of the casting, Gilbert was gonna make sure
he was the last car sputting in.

Speaker 3 (52:49):
Oh absolutely, he made sure. He's like, you know what,
you started it. We're going to make sure that you
get to finish it too.

Speaker 2 (52:55):
They're pitting by the way, they're fit.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
Do you know who this really benefits. That's gonna be
Josh Mickelmore that lap back here, and that's gonna help
Brad Newman out as well, because look at the right
right right front of the number one machine. He had
a lot of damage on there. So now everybody can regroup,
get back together, and we're gonna see what just kind

(53:20):
of how this racing is gonna go for the last
I believe we.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
Had fifty miles or left fifty miles or left twenty
laps remaining. We have completed three corners of this right said,
I gotta fill it now. But the fireworks, or as
Adam said in Little Nikki, it's time for the feathers
to fly. Beautiful love, Let the feathers fly, my friend.

Speaker 1 (53:50):
Yes, just amp.

Speaker 9 (53:53):
Yeah, definitely, definitely gonna see what it is going to
transpire here in How aggressive is Zach Kerr going to
be coming back to the green flag? Is he going
to be a little bit patient this time or is
he going to take it straight to the man and
get Dallid back, try to get the race win, or

(54:15):
is he just going to relax here on this final restart?

Speaker 1 (54:21):
Everybody wolexes in Daytana my friend not knowing that Jack.

Speaker 2 (54:25):
Jason Holdsworth says, yeah, that's tough, but he'll be in
the playoffs. There you go, There you go. So a
lot of guys that might be out of the race
or or haven't retired. They have done what they needed
to do though possibly to go to the playoffs. Everything
will be reset retalied. There's Jason Holdsworth, by the way,

(54:47):
he's on the damaged Vehicle policy right now to try
to get time fixed on his car, and we are
coming to the one to go in the kitchen indication.
My apologies. Here is your top ten as we settle
in for a restart with lap number sixty two under
fifty miles remain. Zach Kerr is back in the lead

(55:08):
for Nexus E Sports Team Connie and Vermilion, Lewis great
Head and Wayne Burke for Vermilion or second and third
in the six of the eighty nine. Ethan Winner won
a quiet night for the Vortex sim Sports Chevrolet Toyota.

(55:29):
And remember Dylan he was leading at Indy two weeks
ago when he got crashed out. Ethan Winner right now
sitting in the top five. Tyler Williams as well for
Racecraft Academy. Then in Shane Bowen in his Ford for
Cobalt Racing, the Senergy SAM Racing entry number eighty eight

(55:49):
of Brenton Thompson and his Chevrolet seventh Toyota number seven
eighth of Sam Chapman for Team Vermilion. Then it's Team
Jents Shifters in the top ten round it out in
the top ten of Henry King and the zero three
and Aaron Gilbert and oh damn it, Aaron Gilbert and
the zero three Henry King in the fifty two. That's

(56:11):
your top ten. The guy that did get the lucky
dog on the free pass, as you said, Dylan, is
Josh Michelmore. He's back in, so is Brad Newman. Twelve
stars on the lead lap. As we get ready for
a restart, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
This restart is definitely gonna be one for the ages.
Who's gonna have the better jump? What is lewis great
Head gonna do? He's got his teammate behind him. Are
they gonna count it down for each other? Are they
gonna get a good jump on that inside lane to
keep them honest and get those vermillion cars a one
to two finish? Or is zach Kerr gonna be able

(56:48):
to time this restart absolutely perfect?

Speaker 2 (56:50):
Now that's something we'll have to watch. Bring flag back
out time to break the action the final forty miles,
herring taketona, who's doing to the playoffs, who's gonna be
in tears? Who's waiting for another caution? Because normally cautions
reed cautions as well?

Speaker 3 (57:15):
You see it there the eighty nine didn't get the
bigger jump, than what you thought he was gonna get.
But it worked out to their favor. Their back to nose,
the tail there the outside not getting as much of
a run as a positive can. Butz Ker in that
Ford Mustang power trying to power around on that.

Speaker 2 (57:33):
Outsee a rumble from up top side, you're taking to
listen to it. Now here they come back to full
song and one hundred and eighty five to one hundred

(57:55):
and ninety miles an hour. The draft might push him
up to one ninety five. Listen to that rumble, that
sweet virtual perpetual thunder. Cristndo in the corners off that
thirty one degrees of banking. Here they come. Now, I
calm the back straight away top to the outside lane
is gonna be Kerr the points leader. He's gonna now

(58:17):
fall back to the top five. Great now, the leaders say,
work in turn three.

Speaker 3 (58:24):
Yeah, great head doing exactly what he needs to do.
He's out there being great leading this lane that inside,
trying to do exactly what he needs to do. Once
his teammate right behind him. And one thing I haven't
seen lewis do go up and try to control both lanes.
That is a big key factor in plate track racing

(58:46):
is controlling both lanes. But he believes in that numbers
six machine that he can hold the power down on
that inside it can keep the momentum up and he
doesn't have to worry about that.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
And remember we're closing in on fifteen laps to go.
That's the equivalent of thirty five miles left in this race. Here,
you got anything left in the tank, you better show
it right now here they come with great head on
the inside. They and by the way, everybody pitted for

(59:22):
the most part. The last caution they can go the
distance and remember overtime a possibility as well. As they
go back into the corner, great head, look had Zach
currs Ford, he will not go away in the P
one number twelve on the outside. Here comes Winner Williams

(59:43):
on the inside behind the machine of Burke and is
gdknny maw maw mao. The claws are out as they
working at turn number three. As they hold off the
kangaroos heading their way into turn number three and four,
it is really getting excited. I think we're sett for
an epic finish here is they work three and four? Dylan?

Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Yeah, looking there the P one doc machine of zach
Kerr trying to do what he can do to get
that top lane, organizing, get ready to go. Everybody just
trying to jockey for position. They know the laps are
running down. They want to get as many positions as
they possibly can. But the two on the inside, the
Vermilion Esports drivers holding steady, doing what they need to do.

(01:00:28):
And I believe if I'm Wayne Burke, I am in
Lewis's ears saying, hey, don't worry about your marriages, focus
on the road in front of you. I got your six.
No matter what, I'll be there. I'm not going to
leave you for the rest of this race.

Speaker 10 (01:00:47):
I'll tell you this much as well as you just
mentioned that you literally have got to literally not lose
your call here as well, I'll say that one wrong slip,
you get aggressive, you take yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
You don't want to do that, don't do that.

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
You see it there zach Kerr pulling alongside of the
number six of Lewis's great head, trying to do what
he can ethan winter kind of laying off the bag
bumper just a little bit, but that sets up a
beautiful exit four the number thirty nine to get right
back on the back bump of Zach Kerr and pull
them back alongside.

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
But a little bit of an allouse boy, just a
little aggressive hold on to it.

Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
A little week on good jiggle in the bubble on.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Oh, we ain't reached that point yet. We might go
three wide. The man in the end, the highlighter Cutler says,
look at me, the Tompson of the eighty eighties in
the crazy eight spot right now behind the back of
the chap But look at this six cars inside and outside,
twel the cars total they are ranked there on the

(01:02:08):
lead lap. They could win this race even no more
then eleven has been good. Gotta hold it together. That
was we had to the final twenty five miles a Daytona.

Speaker 7 (01:02:21):
Though.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Something's gonna miss with Zach Kerr. I'm not sure what's
gonna happen to him. He's going to drop back, He's
going to relinquish that top spot on that outside. He's
going to drop back. And as the great Will Smith
once said, it's time to get jiggy with it is.

Speaker 11 (01:02:39):
Everybody saw where that song's about, right, that's Chris's kind
to do.

Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
Chris Crunk know he's how to get jiggy with it
on the oscars.

Speaker 3 (01:03:00):
I'm not exactly sure what happened to zach r and
why he wanted to go back towards the back is
a he had a good position, but like you said
the eighty eight of Hobson, he's up there in p
number six. Now he's going to try to put his
fight in the hat up here towards the front.

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Now you're exactly right heading to the final hen laps
ladies and gentlemen twenty five miles from now. Will determine
at the end of round thirteen and what has been
a very calm race where the playoffs will be in

(01:03:41):
two weeks when we come back and come in at Darlington.
Right now, great Head in the lead. I'm understanding he
is not a points eligible driver, so he's looking for
his second win, but it won't go towards the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (01:04:00):
Oh man, that does gotta be devastating for Lewis Gradhead
having a fantastic race up here but not eligible for
the playoffs. That's got to sting just a little bit.
But you can add the win to your resume and
not a lot of people can say, hey, you know what,
it may not be the in real life thing but
I've won at the virtual Daytona International Speedway, so still

(01:04:23):
gonna be a great race up here now ethan winner
is going to try to challenge for the race lead
on that I side. He's got the number thirty four
locked or thirty eight excuse me, locked on his back bumper.

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
You do get the kiss and called kid minic?

Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
What do you do? What do you do? Right now?
Great head locked to the inside, He's committed right he
ate backing down, he's gotten marking the man who won
in the Chicago Street Race a couple of weeks ago.
He's there to the inside also, and I just I
can't believe it, you know, pilling It puzzles me and

(01:05:02):
Pina will listen to what I'm saying. A couple of
nights ago in America, we did the Cops Nazra Truck
Series race at Talladega, Okay, about a mile and a
half a little bit bigger by about one sixth of
a mile two point six six miles, two and a
half mile. The point that I'm getting is it was
all one on the outside lane. Races sometimes are done

(01:05:25):
in one here at Daytona on the outside lane, but
for some reason there is a damn bullseye. And then
there's a block sign on anybody that tries to get
something going on the outside lane tonight, a no smoking
sign flashing red telling you you can't do it. And
so far you've gotta be locked to the bottom. You've

(01:05:46):
got a catfish Aussie world to win here right now,
great head knows it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
With seven to go, Yeah, you see it there, third
lane starting to form up. The eighty eight end up
high to make that third lane. Micklemore followed, but he
backed out of it, said, nah, I gotta have an
escape route. Micklemore through the middle.

Speaker 2 (01:06:10):
Oh, here we go trouble Michel and we got cars
are born and well we see a caution. We have
not seen a caution yet. Wow, boy, this thing Rex
Director is relentless man unbelievable.

Speaker 3 (01:06:32):
I am now two for two.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
That was Micklemore, Hopson and the other car that got
up in the air and we're still green. I can't
believe this sock feeling.

Speaker 3 (01:06:43):
Wow, yeah, I am now two for two. Are broadcaster curses,
So I am not saying anything anymore. Making their way
up to the front because it's just gonna end very bad.
But look at the number thirty four by ns on
the outside trying to make it work.

Speaker 4 (01:07:03):
Does it's I Racing cautions not manual race control.

Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
So I Racing has not been calling it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
We're understanding that I Racing is the people that will
call yellow flag. And obviously they're on strike tonight. They're
they're they're race directed in America like we are calling
in America. We want to get our butts in the
mad five laps to go home stretch time.

Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
You got a vermillion sports.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Whoa boy.

Speaker 1 (01:07:36):
Human they're getting past? Wow, he's not easy to get possible.

Speaker 2 (01:07:43):
At one time tonight now here's Toyota gets fine passed
by the congregation off too unbelievable. It is all great head.
By the way, keep an eye on Williams in the
thirty four. There he is in it to win it
for now down to what seven that could win this race?

Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
See it there? Who's gonna back up the entry into
the corner or down the backstretch, get the major run,
bounce it to the outside like you said in the
Nazareth truck Series, you've seen it one on the outside.
Is that gonna be the past to make to get
your win? Here tonight we'll find out in four laps time,

(01:08:29):
but Ethan Winner being patient all race long. He's got
a million truck rap or two million car right behind him.
Chatman pushing him, trying to get him back up there
towards the front. You got two on the out, five
on the end. Who's gonna battle as so far their
neck and neck going into turn three.

Speaker 2 (01:08:50):
Under ten miles remaining here they tom working off turn four.
Here they come for the line in his great head
still on the end. Burt now with a push. He's
got now Winner up on the outside. That's the yellow
and black thirty nine a push, Mike Chapman. All this
going on is now yep. Here comes Zach Carr. He's

(01:09:13):
back in it. And how about Ritchie? Beat beat Ritchie
a lamp down he's in the back, but could he
calls chaos and mayhem the final seven and a half
miles coming to the penultimate lap when they come to
the line next time, I.

Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
Dylan, Yeah, if if you're any of these top five,
you kind of want to have that buffer with the
lap car right behind you pushing you. But sometimes it
could work out, other times it won't work out in
your favor. Lewis still having the race lead. He's got
the NBER eighty nine his teammate behind him, and then

(01:09:48):
you have the other teammate of the eighty nine and
six of Chapman up on that outside pushing ethan winner along.
Where does zach Kerr go? Where does Williams go? Where
do all these drivers go? Are we gonna possibly see
a three white situation on the final lap? We got
one more lap to decide it and see what's gonna
end up happening. It's gonna be a total banger here tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
They work the back straight away, a little shuffling John,
and here comes Williams and he pushes. Now the machine
and Chapman there's contact and they're not backing off. Talking
about virtual social distancing. It's out the window between Chapman
and Williams. That's now the purple cars. It's Richie, a

(01:10:33):
leap car in the fight with the leaders. Here they
come to the flag off turn four. Two and a
half miles remain, playoffs decided in one more white flag
of the air. Would you go final time? Wreckers or checkers?
It's great head leaning. Will he be in that top
spight when we come back on the either side though,

(01:10:54):
in memory of the great Ozzy Osbourne. They're in turn two,
they're killing.

Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Does Lewis Greyhead make his car? Does he go up
to the top to block the run? He's gonna stay
down low with his teammate. They're getting a little bit
spicy down to the inside Ethan Winner pulled Ale Strong
in the middle, but lost a little bit of ground
going to turn free and.

Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
Here comes green Hand down to the inside. Wayange Burk
will follow? Will he pull out a line? Will we
go for it? This teammate with Team Connie. Here he
comes on the outside, gotta push with the yellow line
and they're crashing. I think Rankard did it crashing. Wayne

(01:11:39):
Darkness won this lace. I think wayange Bark got him.

Speaker 3 (01:11:43):
Yep, what a finish.

Speaker 2 (01:11:48):
And you're gonna wonder if Grayhead is gonna possibly suffer
a penalty because on the last lap he drove below
the double yellow lineer. I don't know if they enforce
it in Australia and e NASCAR like the real NASCAR
Cup Series does. Look at this, he's already driving below
the double yellow line. He did it on his own accord. Yep, boy,

(01:12:16):
we need to see a couple of more angles of this.
I believe Jason Race Controls somebody helped me out here.
I don't know if you guys follow the regular NASCAR rules,
but if you go below the double yellow line, you
you well, we're all the way on the backstretch. Now, okay,
here we come. Watch this again. See what he's doing, Dylan,

(01:12:40):
look at that, and I don't know why he's done
it because he's not being forced or pushed below the
double yellow light. Raying Burke, he wins the race. He
might have won it by a very slim margin, might
good by a fingernail, but he's won this race. Rayn
Burke wins Daytona. He won a couple of weeks ago
in the street race that Chicago, and now Wang Birk

(01:13:02):
wins here at Taytona to close the regular season of
Australian NASCAR Championship. Unbelievable. Wang Burk is burning it down.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
Yeah. I think honestly, if Lewis Graad had kept it
up on the racetrack, I don't think ethan winner would
have been able to get in between the eighty nine
and the number six and we would have had a
good old style fashion drag race to the Star finish line,
but go below the yellow yellow line. I get why
you do it. You want to be as safe as possible,
but that just opened up a lot of.

Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
But Dylan, nobody was there. I'm not trying to rebuttal
your comment, but why would you do that? I mean,
he possibly might be disqualified or be sent to the
tail end of the field of the lead lap cars
because he might forfeit second for doing that move. Now,
I'm not saying that that's official yet, but if you

(01:14:00):
do that in real life, you're forfeiting your spot. You're
not winning the Daytona five hundred or the Coach zero
four hundred, which by the way, is coming up here
in a couple of weeks at the World Center of Racing.
Wayne Berg he's the winner. Second. I question. I'm gonna
have to checkt with Rice control with Nigel and Jason
on that one. Jay lewis greatthead right now showing for second,

(01:14:24):
eighth and winner third, Sam Chapman, Firth stach Kerr. The
points leader is gonna leave here when a top five
finish and then it is Tyler Williams, Daine Bow and
Josh Micklbour, Rant Hoompson and Aaron Gilbert. The top ten.
You've got the rest of the finishing order.

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
My friend Dylan in eleventh position. We have Henry King.
Twelfth is gonna be Jamie Richie thirteenth, bad Fast, Brad Newman.
Fourteenth is gonna be Fitzroy Beaumont. Fifteenth is gonna be
Tom for Your sixteenth, Brenton West seventeenth, Matt Danson, eighteenth
is gonna be Jason Holdsworth and Ronni Outri eighteen. Car

(01:15:00):
Field here tonight is going to be Dave Douglas now.

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
And Dave's already on the golf course, is what we're told.
He's already preparing the golf so man have fun, no doubt.
For Wayne Burke, this is his twenty ninth start in
need NASCAR Motorsports Australia. It will be his fifth win overall,
fourteenth top five and twenty third top ten. For Wayange Burke,
we have not took a break for a while. We

(01:15:24):
gonna sort things out. I'm in racing. Is it foul
or foe? We'll find out. We gotta get the word
from race Control. We'll conneck with them and find out
how they decide things. What do you think, audience, is
it a deep new or is it second place for

(01:15:45):
the man of great Lewis great hand who, by the way,
had a phenomenal race until all of that happened coming
to the flag. We determine all of this when we
come back from DAYTONA thing we do know, Wayne Burke
wins here at the World Center of Racing.

Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
That was perfect And I stopped up right of the line.

Speaker 2 (01:16:16):
You know, together for a long time. Brother, You know,
I love you, Wesley, I love you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:21):
Giving me a hug, Give me hug.

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
He's a good boy, a good.

Speaker 8 (01:16:30):
So.

Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
Yeah, I missed my chance waying man. Yeah, where is Okay?
I got it.

Speaker 1 (01:16:36):
It takes care of chance when you're away.

Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Other family, other family, believe. Yeah, because I'm on the
road man.

Speaker 4 (01:16:44):
Yeah again, I'm on the road again.

Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
Like next week. I literally leave. I leave next Wednesday
for the races I gotta do next weekend. I literally
leave next Wednesday and I'll be gone for four days.
All right.

Speaker 4 (01:17:00):
Oh, they're in the green room right down the bottom.
You don't have to drag him all the way out.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
Okay. Have we heard anything, Dylan, Have we got any
clarification from Jason or Nigel or anybody on you want to.

Speaker 4 (01:17:15):
Jason doesn't set me anything, so I'd leave it as
it is, just interview them.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
I mean it's pretty official.

Speaker 3 (01:17:21):
But give me to drag him out to the booth.

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
Yeah, all in right there, Yeah, go ahead and do that.

Speaker 4 (01:17:33):
Gentlemen, we're going to bring you all into the booth,
but you should know the deal. Just one at a
time to the interviews are up.

Speaker 2 (01:17:39):
Hey, Louis, did they say you got second? My friend?
I even though you went below the double yellow line,
did they say you got second? I'm just I'm just
wondering if anybody said anything to you. Yeah, I can't
do it to Okay, so it is allowed? Hang on?
Did so? It's a it's allowed in this series that
you can do that. Am I right? I just didn't know, Okay, okay,

(01:18:00):
all right, I'll indocate that retraction when we come back, Dean,
when you're ready.

Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Five full three two one.

Speaker 2 (01:18:10):
A quick correction that Lewis Gratehead will be credited for
second place on my apologies everybody. I am new to
the Aussie e NASCAR rule book and all of the
things that happened with the way they operate. It is
fair game, double yellow line and all I did not
get the memo until after I made it. Appointed check

(01:18:31):
Lewis Gratehead will be credited with the brides made position.
But Wayne Burke team Vermilion one and two four text
with winner and third. We got him on the podium,
Dylan and myself, I'm Wesley and we grabbed now the winner,
Wayne Burke from Melbourne, Australia. Wayne, congratulations, man fifth NASCAR

(01:18:52):
Australian Championship victory overall. But boy, what was the setup
the outside ling? Was it access to night until the
end of this thing here? Wayne? Congratulations?

Speaker 7 (01:19:03):
Yeah for sure, I'll thatt' say really wired. Ethan had
a good run like half of through that last lap
and I didn't think I was gonna be able to
get up there to have a shot at Lewis, but
the line opened up coming off four there and yeah,
he just got enough of a push and just got
the slink shot, which is yeah awesome and bost them
to grab another wind for a pavilion and to get

(01:19:25):
another some playoff points. Yes, just yeah, good night for us.

Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Come on.

Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
Yeah, so Wayne, you you had pretty much a quiet night.
You stayed towards the back, didn't really see too much
of you there towards the beginning of the race, but
there towards the end, you had your teammate of Lou's
great head in front of you. Was it more of
just telling him to keep his eyes on the front
in front of him, not making sure he's mirror driving.

(01:19:55):
You wanted to do all for him, pushed him all
the way around the racetrack, and then did you tell
him my, hey, last lap, everything anything goes, I'm going
to do what I can to either push you to
a race win or was it be I'm going to
try to get my win for myself.

Speaker 7 (01:20:12):
Ah, yes, pretty much. While we were riding after that restart,
we obviously really started behind each other or behind him,
so it was just a matter of just just holding
the lead and just just keeping round behind us so
we could just control the race. And then yeah, I
think we didn't actually say anything, but I think the

(01:20:33):
last lap was just an unspoken thing, like if we
were able to race without sort of you know, harming
the other person, which we were, I think it's just
all fair game on that last lap. I think it
would have been different if we were side by side.
I probably would have just pushed him again, like I
didn't remember one, but yeah, I think it was unspoken

(01:20:54):
and I had a clear run, so I had to
do it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
Man, Wayne, I got a exkit man. Uh was this
probably one of the most calm Daytona races you think
you've ever been a part of, Like, Wow, I'm I'm
I'm blown away, Uh a little bit.

Speaker 7 (01:21:11):
But then in saying that, like they had some wild
moments on the back straight, was some of the blocks
being thrown, But uh, it was calm for me. I
sat in the back early. But yeah, just to and
at the end, like to have my teammates with me
makes it a lot easier. And so that was calm,
And yeah, it was just good to get the get
the run at the end and get the get the

(01:21:33):
chicken fleg.

Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Well, but before we let you go, please thank your sponsors.
We'll see in a couple of weeks at Darlington.

Speaker 3 (01:21:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:21:39):
Thanks, I'm gonna thank the mems with guys the CONTI
setup guys for great docs. Uh super Omo sports from
next Coaching and they've no sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
Signs areer start twenty nine. As I mentioned before the
commercial break for Wing Burke, he won the Chicago Street Race.
He wins here in Daytona for his fifth now win
in the NASCAR or the Australian e NASCAR Championships. It
is now his twenty third top five, eighty seventh, yes, sir,

(01:22:11):
count it eighty seventh overall. I'm sorry, my apologies there,
fourth win, fourteenth top five and twenty third now top ten.
Wayne Burke with a phenomenal job again for this guy.
Let's go now and grab the man that finishes in
the second spot. It is Lewis's great head. First off,

(01:22:31):
Lewis again, I want to apologize for saying you were
d qed when you weren't d qed, but I wanted
to make sure I had the right clarification. But I'll
tell you what, my friend, you were locked on the
bottom and you were not giving up that spot. I
gotta ask you, though, why did you die below the
double yellow line? Did you feel like you could maybe
get some faster momentum going to the inside, because I

(01:22:53):
know nobody pushed you there.

Speaker 7 (01:22:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (01:22:56):
I saw Wayne I sawayne get the run and I
was like, oh, I'll try, I'll try anything I can
to be a few thousands ahead. And I believe my
words were for the last one hundred and fifty meters
before the line was no. But like I said, away,

(01:23:17):
we both race hard, we both have a head screwed on,
so we know we know when we can race, and
we know when to work together.

Speaker 2 (01:23:23):
I think Dylan knows what I'm talking about. I don't
know if you can't have the commercials in Australia, but
the bounding commercials where the guy spills something or the
girls spilled something on the table and it's about the
like ruined pictures or something, and the and they're saying no,
but it fades away in the echo. I got a
feeling pantomidy that that's exactly what you did there, Dylan.

Speaker 12 (01:23:42):
That is, it's like you were in my discord.

Speaker 3 (01:23:47):
Not really much to say other than, you know, congratulations
on the P two here tonight, obviously leading forty three
laps of the race. Just gotta kind of ask, how
how did your beginning of your race go with all
the moving around on top lane, bottom lane, the heavy
blocking throughout the whole entire race, where you just kind

(01:24:09):
of like clenching a little bit, hoping that nothing ended
up happening you got through it, or were you like, hey,
you know what, anything goes at this point.

Speaker 12 (01:24:20):
I mean sort of to be expected in the series
amongst amongst a few people. A few people don't like
some other people, so we know that there's gonna be
some some things like that happening. But no exactly like
I did in round one where I got the win,
hug the bottom, don't move. I tend to get myself
to the front and like to stay there.

Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
So so great head, I see that you're not gonna
be in the playoffs side you know for the next
season to come. Are you're going to try to pull
in that charter to be able to go for it
or what's the reason I'm not doing it.

Speaker 12 (01:24:52):
I'm not sure about the whole playoff thing because I
know you have to miss or you have to do
an x amount of races. But there was a race
the Australian Grand Prix weekend. But I need to speak
to Nigel about that.

Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
I got youa well buddy before we let you go.
Lewis Police thinker sponsors me and I will tell you this.
Uh I think that you knew you needed to be
on the inside. Cat fishing was the way to go
to win Daytona and uh man, I mean if things
would have went about two tenths another direction. Coming to
the checker flag, I think we'd be talking to you
as a winner.

Speaker 12 (01:25:26):
Yeah, I like to think that I way Wayne helped
me out with the first win, So I like to
think that I that I'm that I lifted a little
bit to let him have the win.

Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
But that was.

Speaker 12 (01:25:33):
Definitely not the case. Sponsor sponsors wise, obviously, all the
boys at Vermilion a Sports and also Ethan's team as well.
We work quite closely with them. Bev Desig Assume Never Motorsports,
emion X coaching at the kutshop dot com dot and
of course Team Conji setups so.

Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
Team Connie and Vermilion Chevrolets one and two. As we mentioned,
uh in Winter on Deck coming up here for a third.
But uh, when it's all said and done for the
Australian NASCAR Championship over Lewis great head career start number
twenty six tonight, he does have obviously two wins. Tonight's
victory runner up spot will now give him a fourteenth

(01:26:10):
top five and a credit of a twentieth top ten
for Lewis' greatthead. Though he is not going to the playoffs,
we grab now the driver of Ethan Winner, who was
third in the point standings coming into tonight's race, and
Ethan Winner will settle for third tonight, ready for the postseason. Ethan,

(01:26:31):
your take of this race, I was it a very
calm running Daytona. What was it like for you in
the cockpit of your car settling for a podium third finish.

Speaker 13 (01:26:41):
Yeah, it's probably suddenly common that it typically would. I
think that's you know, a few factors that I'll contribute
to that, like that Lolla cock count. And I think
as a great we had six cars at the front
and that kind of you know, I'm kind of working
together there and I'm taking no big rests there, so
I suddenly made a comrade at the front ten. I think,
you know, as a great, we really did execute really

(01:27:02):
well there. You know, had to have I think five
of us in the top five. You know, at just
speaks to you know, execution down pitt Lane and you know,
some luck there Thom's for a few of us, but
over I complained about third.

Speaker 3 (01:27:22):
Yeah, absolutely, you had a really good run. You stayed
quiet for the most part, getting that number thirty nine
machine up to where you wanted to be. Obviously started
in p number four. You kind of kept it there.
You just wanted to be calm, be patient, be smooth
with everything. We've seen a couple of three white moves
out of you throughout the rest of the race. What

(01:27:43):
more did you need? Did you want to try to
put a three right there on that final lap, trying
to get to where you needed it to be, or
did you just like, hey, you know what, just case
something does happen and he comes down, you just backed
out of it and you were going to settle for third.

Speaker 13 (01:27:57):
Yeah, I think that sequence, you know, was fuddle. On
the back stretch the last lap, Tyler Connor got into
my rear not square, and that kind of broke the
momentum of the outside lane, and you know, obviously allowed
Wayne to get to the outside of Lewis and then
I was gonna shoot it to the middle of both
of them, and I honestly had a better run than
both of them, But I just saw Wayne closing the

(01:28:19):
door on it. I thinkured it probably wasn't worse throwing
away a good result for all of us, So I
just backed out of it and Tyler came in, like
Tyler came in lately, give me a push thet you
get me third.

Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
Well, Ethan, before we do, let you go, sir, please
thank your sponsors and obviously we will see how many
all shakes out for the playoffs. We'll see it Darlington
in two weeks. Man.

Speaker 13 (01:28:42):
Yeah, thanks to Obviously, I may just want to set
Mating Turn and Canningbell, Turtle, Graham Electrical and Data. I
sold it, Massage, Clinic, Case Auto works Pace, Graphics, Start Imagery,
Casey Simon's symptography and obviously Team Connie for supplying us
the goods week in, week out to front.

Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
There you go, well, ladies and gentlemen, that is the
way things shake. Rydaland roll in the virtual world of
Australian NASCAR Championships for the Esports race tonight to close
the regular season for Ethan winner by the way, love
giving stats, tonight was his forty seventh overall race width
Australian NASCAR Championship. He has eight wins, twenty three top

(01:29:26):
fives and now twenty seven top tens. So the playoffs
will be determined. We are heading to Darlington. Remember this
is a bi weekly series and we go to Darlington
in two weeks. Dylan, your final take here tonight of Daytona, sir,
the regular season is done. Everybody that met the minimum

(01:29:48):
requirements had the wins, will be tallied to go to
the round of twelve. Twelve drivers will officially race for
the playoff championships. They have not updah, they have. Can
we update the twelve drivers? Can we do that now? Actually,
you know what, I don't think they have yet. It's
not official. It's not official, so I don't want to
put that out Therefore, before this was the cut line,

(01:30:11):
this was the window, and this is where we're at
right now. But as you said, though, Dylan McDonald, there
is requirements. Minimum of race is needed, not just wins
required qualify. And we know some guys that are right
there in yellow are not going to make the cutoff
of the twelve. We know obviously. I think with bad

(01:30:33):
luck for Dave Douglas he's out Steven Williams in the
thirty four, he might make a push after having a
solid finish. I really don't know what else to tell
of the tape will be. But man, your final take
of Daytona one caution flag, I'm just blown away at that.
It was a very entertaining race. The race was done

(01:30:55):
in one hour and seven minutes, and of course now
we look for Daram to I mean up here in
two weeks sir, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:31:03):
Absolutely, I mean this race track always going to provide
extremely good racing. Obviously, only having that one caution kind
of threw it all. A different strategy should have been
a couple more. But what can you take from it, right,
I mean, is Daytona and the recks are going to happen.
One thing that we didn't see tonight though was the

(01:31:24):
big one, which is always good. You never want to
see the big one. Uh see one Carget Airborne. But
the quality of racing here tonight was just absolutely marvelous.
Everybody doing what they had to do, the blocks, the
the controlling both lanes, doing whatever they had to do.
In two weeks time, though Darlington, who's going to get
that Darlington stripe, Who's going to be able to take

(01:31:46):
it across the star finish side getting the win, starting
off the playoffs on the right note with a race
win and moving an advanced way to the next round.
So I can't to see how that happens in see
what goes on on that side of things. But day
you go from Daytona to Darlington, one of the hardest

(01:32:07):
tracks on the schedule to round out the rest of
the season.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Man Lady in Black, the track that's too tough to
team obviously starts the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs and for
the virtual drivers of Motorsport Australia Australia NASCAR Esports for
their run to the championship, they're gonna have to go
through Darlington and you saw Richmond and you saw Bristol.

(01:32:32):
Just the first three tracks. I mean, think about it
as we show you the finish one more time. By
the way, I want to apologize to our audience, it
was no penalty for going below the double yellow line. Again,
I didn't want to try to make anybody out there
get mad at me. As far as talking about saying
great Head was disqualified or would be disqualified, I don't

(01:32:53):
think I ever said that. I just said we need
to get clarification to see if it's a possibility, but
it's fair game. He still come up short when wang
Burke picked up the wind Hey coming up this week,
we've got more great coverage on the networks of the
Australia DASCAR ET Series. I'll be back with Nolan Nigel
coming up of course on Tuesday. Tuesday Night, Mates and Matings,

(01:33:17):
we got the next round of the Burling Motor Group
X Series. We're gonna be at Iowa Speedway for Round
number five covers. We begin around eight pm Australia standard
time and six am in America. I'll be right up
with you guys. We'll do it again. And I believe
it is Dylan and Nigel. I believe Nigel Sadel on

(01:33:37):
Thursday night for the Truck series and I believe they're
planning to be at Kentucky Speedway and same time, same
network of course on Motorsport Australia Sports. As always, thank
you to Jason Holdsworth as well as Nigel Sadel and
all the amazing people for what they do with the events.

(01:33:59):

(01:34:40):
your week. Congratulations waing Berg, winner of the regular season
finale for the Australian NASCAR Championships at Daytona. We'll see
you in Darlington. We're ready to see who was got
a hoist title in six weeks. Good evening.

Speaker 4 (01:35:03):

and everything too.
