Since my last one died a tragicdeath at the hands of my electric power,
let me get you caught up tospeed. It's Wednesday, September seventeenth,
twenty fourteen, and boy, ohboy, has this summer had been
crazy. Once the High Council left, there was a lot of work to
do to get things back to normal. Everyone's memories on the outside came back
the instant the shroud was gone,which meant there was a lot of confusion.

Families and friends were reunited, ofcourse, but explaining the whole this
town was gone for a bit andnow it's back thing to utility providers and
food distributors and stuff like that wasa bit more complicated. Luckily, Sibyl
and I were able to lightly persuadepeople that there had been a freak hurricane
that had cut us off from themainland for a bit. It took a
few weeks, but everything got backto running smoothly again. The mayors of

the other towns were filled in abouteverything that happened. They were horrified it
with the High Council had done,so they decided to all take a visit
to Human Day to make sure thatthe people knew everything and offer a chance
to see what life connected to thehuman world was like for Anny interested.
So far, dozens of people havetaken them up on the offer. People
in the Cape towns were also giventhe chance to go to Human Day,

and I know a few people intown have. I'm glad they have the
choice. And as for me,well, you're still sitting in coffee shops
talking to yourself. Some thing's neverchange. What will be changing soon,
though, is my living situation.Finally, you guys got the condo.

one for me, one for Roxy, and one for Ben if he
ever comes back. He's just awayfor a couple of weeks doing that early
