from mentoring if we stay connected.But it's got to take a lot of
energy from you, and bringing Hannahto the surface will take even more.

an easy feet and what the HighCouncil did to Hannah isn't doing this any
favors. Roxy. You're looking reallypale. I I don't think I can

friends, we do the High Council. They used your magic with the shout.

They know I can feel what theytook from me, but they didn't
manage to take it all. OhHannah, you only ever see the bright

me from being truly angry at them. I feel myself fading. What were
we talking about the shroud? Howcan we take it down? There must
be a way right for the monstrositythat the High Council created. There are

two parts needed, both difficult,even for your powerful friend. You know
about sybyl of course I check inevery once in a while. But the
spell, the spell. The onlyway to remove such an immense amount of
magic is to channel it into awilling vessel. The magic is corrupted as
well, so it would also needto be purified somehow to stop it from

simply destroying the vessel. Outright,that's it, that's amazing. I can't
wait to tell the others. Thiswill save the town. There is a
cost, however, a cost youof all people should know. Strong magic
comes with a price. And whatis this one? The vessel? The

magic must be channeled in two.It must be either one who can absorb
great amounts of magic or the spellcast themselves. And this amount of magic,
it is near impossible for anyone whichto survive such a thing, even
if they are as powerful as yoursibyl. So you're saying Sybil could save

the town. But if she does, she dies most likely? Yes,
if she, Hannah, I'm losingyou, Kenny, Hannah. No,
there has to be another way,right, a different spell, a vessel

before we do this, can wetalk about like other stuff, other
stuff? Yeah, I don't know. Everything feels like it's been leading up
to whatever's going on right now,and it's all very life and death and
high stakes. I just don't wantto leave things unsead. And there's a
lot that we haven't said about somestuff, like about what happened at the

Hello, Avra, hey is Sybilaround? I'm at Shia's house. So
no good. We need to talk. What's going on? I think I
found a way to take down theShroud. You did, yes, but
we can't do it? What?Why not? Because Sybil would be the

one to do it and it wouldkill her. What do you mean we
were able to connect to Hannah throughMari's plane walking, She said, There's
only one way to take down theShroud, But the spell that could do
it would require Sybil to absorb theShroud's magic. Even if she was able
to cleanse the corrupted magic first,that much energy it would kill her.

(13:58):
But but you said it yourself.Syble's the second most powerful which you've ever
known. If anyone could do itand handle that much magic, it would
be her, right. I'd liketo believe that, except the most powerful
I ever knew was killed channeling asimilar amount of magic. Oh does she
know about the spell? Not yet? Keep it that way. If she

(14:22):
knew, she might, I knowwhat her choice would be. I don't
intend to tell her, although thereis always a chance she finds out anyway.
Sible's clever. The spell, Hannahexplained, is a complicated one,
but not impossible for Sybil to puttogether. On her own with the right
resources, so we have to makesure she doesn't. We need to distract
her while we figure something else out. There is no figuring something else out,

(14:45):
Yes there is. I was actuallygetting ready to go over to town
hall to try to talk to oneof the High Council members. A lot
of those seems less bought into allof this. So maybe if High Counsel
is leaving tomorrow, they said theywere leaving on Friday, they changed the
date as of a couple hours ago. They've caught win of the Swede public
opinion that we're worried about people actingbefore they have a chance to escape.

(15:07):
People like us. We don't haveany more time to figure things out.
This is it. You better notbe suggesting we sacrifice my sister. Absolutely
not. We need to keep heras far away from any spell research as
possible. Easier said than done.She's been doing nothing but reading through Hanna's
old books. She has whenever I'mhome, she has her face buried in
books and notes, which, okay, to be fair, I haven't been

home much, but it's been enough. I know she's been fighting for people

they trust him enough to hold onto it, with how he's been acting

What I've been researching a bunch fora spell to dispel a piece of
magic, and I think I mighthave finally found what I'm looking for.

You have. Yeah, it's asmall scale thing and it would need to
be tweaked a bit to apply tosomething as big as the shroud. And
there's the other issue of the magicbeing corrupted. But I think I could
do it. No, that thatwouldn't work. Yes it will here.
