girl who lived in Kansas, butone day a fierce tornado led her to
a great adventure. Pay a lotof attention because in the end I'

magician from once upon a time inthe vast plains of Kansas who lived a
little girl named Dorothy, with heruncles and her faithful dog Toto. One
day a ferocious tornado broke loose andbefore Dorothy could understand what was happening,

the entire house was torn from theground, taking them to her and Toto
on a dizzying journey across the sky. After a few hours of a hectic
journey, the house finally landed witha roar in a lush green countryside.

With curiosity and a little fear,Dorothy and Toto decided to go exploring.
They soon discovered a path of yellowtiles that saw through the landscape. Intrigued,
they decided to follow him and,in the distance, they saw a

human figure. As they approached,they saw that he was a scarecrow who
was surprisingly able to speak. Hetold them that he was in search of
the magician known to you for hiswisdom and kindness He wanted to ask him

for a real brain, since hisbrain was full of straw. Dorothy thought
that maybe the magician could help herget home, so she decided to accompany
the creeping birds on their journey.As they advanced, they found a tin

man sitting on a stone with avery strange expression on his face. Dorothy
asked him what was wrong with him. But before he could answer, the
scare birds intervened you look sad,but also angry, cheerful, tired relieved.

All that. At the same time, the tin man explained that he
really couldn' t feel anything becausehe didn' t have a heart.
Dorothy, pitiful of him, suggestedthat he join his journey to ask the

magician for a heart so that hecould feel. Tinnut' s man accepted
and together they resumed their journey.They continued along the yellow tiled path until
they came across a lion that wasolyssing the road a little distracted. The

group was frightened to see him,but the lion, who was actually the
most cowardly in the world, ranto hide. When he sinned from his
presence, Dorothy asked him what waswrong with him and the lion replied that
he was always very afraid, butthat he would like to be braver.

The scarecrow suggested that he could alsoaccompany them to ask courage from the magician

he was happy with this new friend. They continued their journey. Excited.

After much walking, they saw inthe distance, a majestic castle had come
to the approach. A guard yelledat them who' s there They can

who, though with his trembling voice, explained that they were looking for
the wizard of oz and that theyhad no bad intentions. The guard believed
their story and allowed them to enterbefore crossing the gates. They all prepared
to see the magician. Dorothy combedher curls and toto the lion as well.

The mane dust was shaken, thescarecrow checked his straw filling and the
tin man poured some oil on hisknees to avoid grinding. As he walked
inside once, they were received byan old man with a tender gaze.

Dorothy told her story and the magicianof you moved by the group of friends
granted each of you his wishes.Dorothy wanted to come home. The tin
man wanted a heart so he couldfeel the lion. He wished to be
very brave and the scare bird longedto be intelligent. Toto, who had

not asked for anything, the magiciangave him a huge bone to gnaw.
The magic was done and everyone feltdifferent and special. Then they had a
party to celebrate that they had fulfilledtheir goal. And while the party was

going on, Dorothy got sleepy andfell asleep hugging Toto. When she woke
up, Dorothy was back in herroom from her home in Kansas. Her
uncles called her for breakfast and fora moment she thought it had all been
(09:09):
just a dream. But looking atthe sole of his shoes, he saw
that they were worn out and paintedyellow as the tiles of the road he
had followed with his friends. Helooked out of the window and saw Toto,
biting the great bone that the magicianhad given him and out of his

hair came a little straw and soDorothy realized that his incredible adventure had been
real and that he would always bearin his heart the memory of his dear
friends and the wonderful journey that tookher back home and Colorín colorado. This

story is over. How did theylike it? I hope so. Now

Besides, every friend was looking forsomething special. The scarebird wanted to be
smart, the tin man wanted tofeel and the lion wanted to be brave,
but during their adventure they discovered thatthose qualities already existed within them.

carry within. We can all bestronger, smarter, braver, friendly,

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
