this exciting adventure. Or pay alot of attention because in the end I
(02:04):
' ll ask you a few questions. They' re ready. We start
(02:30):
the snow queen, attention we're about to start. When we get
to the end of this story,we' ll know more than we know
now. In a far- offcorner of the world lived a goblin called
(02:50):
trasco, known for its ingenuity andstinginess. One day, while playing with
his magic tools, he created amirror different from you all the others.
This mirror had a special power.Everything beautiful became tiny as it reflected on
him and every ugly ro became giganticintrigued by his creation. Trasgo, he
(03:16):
took his mirror to heaven, determinedto show it to the world. But
in his riot he stumbled and themirror fell into the void, breaking into
a thousand pieces that spread all overthe world, and so began our story.
In a charming village lived two childrennamed Carlos and Margarita. His friendship
(03:44):
was as strong as the oldest oakin the forest. They were inseparable friends
who spent their days playing among theflowers, especially among the beautiful roses that
adorned the garden. One day,Charles' grandmother told them the story of
(04:04):
the Snow Queen, a powerful andmysterious woman who lived in an ice castle.
The children were impressed by the storyand thought it would be great to
meet the famous queen. On thenight he passed up into the sky with
(04:26):
his magic mirror, Carlitos looked atthe stars from his window and a tiny
fragment of the magic mirror fell intohis eye, completely changing his heart.
Since then, Carlos was no longerhimself. The roses no longer seemed beautiful
to him. I didn' twant to play with Margarita or listen to
(04:51):
her grandmother. One night, theSnow Queen, who had felt the change
in her heart, invited him toplay and together they walked away in a
sled through the forest. The dayspassed and no one knew what had happened
to Carlos, so Margarita decided togo out and look for him. He
(05:15):
asked the river that told him arumor and sailed in a boat to a
house with a beautiful garden. Thereshe was greeted by a sorceress who fed
her and told her many stories.Margarita had spent a long time even forgetting
Carlos, but seeing the roses,Margarita remembered her friend and continued her way,
(05:42):
leaving behind the kind sorcerer. Asshe left the house, Margarita met
a little tordo. What told himthat a prince had come to the castle
nearby to be friends with the Princess. Margarita thought it was Carlos and begged
him to take her to him.Upon arriving at the castle he discovered that
(06:08):
the prince was not his friend butwhen listening to his fearless story, the
princes decided to help him and gavehim a golden carriage and a horse to
follow his quest along the way.The beautiful carriage caught the attention of bandits
who planned to jump it, butwhen they saw it, the gang leader
(06:30):
pityed her and helped her. Togetherthey went to ask a reindeer about the
whereabouts of Charles and the reindeer toldthem that he had been seen in the
palace of the Queen of Snows inFinland. The bandit asked the reindeer to
(06:51):
take the girl to meet her friendon the way to the Palno they met
a wise old woman, who confirmedthe rumor and gave them words and encouragement
the reindeer, knowing that the oldlady was a skillful Witch asked for a
(07:15):
spell to help Margarita defeat the SnowQueen, but the witch replied that with
the love and courage that was inthe girl' s heart they were more
than enough. Meanwhile, Charles wasa prisoner in the castle of the Snow
(07:36):
Queen, who forced him to formthe word eternity with blocks of ice to
achieve his freedom. But the queenknew that would never happen because of the
little mirror in her eye. Oneday, the Snow Queen decided to visit
(07:59):
the volcanoes. Etna and Vesuvio, leaving the castle unprotected. Margarita arrived at
the castle and when she saw Carlosshe embraced him with such happiness that her
tears melted the cold of her heart. Carlos recognized his great friend and felt
(08:20):
so excited that he also wept withjoy and the piece of mirror came out
of his eye and Carlos was thesame again. He was finally able to
write the word eternity. Helped byMargarita and together they escaped the castle on
(08:41):
the way, met the reindeer andwent on to greet his friends, the
witch, the bandit, the princesand the sorceress of the garden. When
she got home, Carlos' grandmothercouldn' t believe what she saw.
At last they were all together andcolorless. This story is over. How
(09:07):
did they like it? I hopeso. Now let' s go with
the question round. Get ready Whois the leprechaun who creates the magic mirror
in the tale. The leprechaun iscalled a scumbag. What is the effect
(09:41):
of the magic mirror created by atail. The mirror makes the whole beautiful
one dime again minute and everything uglybecomes gigantic. How Carlos changes after a
(10:07):
fragment of the magic mirror falls intohis eye. Carlos no longer found the
beautiful roses. She didn' twant to play with Margarita or listen to
(10:33):
her grandmother where the Snow Queen hadgone. When Margaret arrived at the castle,
the Snow Queen had gone to visitthe Etna and Vesuvio Volcanoes, leaving
(10:56):
the castle unprotected. What happens whenMargarita meets Charles in the castle of the
Queen of Snows. Margarita embraces Carloswith such happiness that her tears melt the
(11:24):
cold of her heart and the pieceof mirror comes out of her eye,
returning her true self Very well theyhave done it wonderfully. The story we
(11:50):
have just heard reminds us of theimportance of friendship. Good friends always support
us in difficult times. Another importantlesson is that courage is necessary to face
our fears and overcome the challenges facingus. Margarita proved to be very brave
(12:18):
during her search and, although shewas often afraid, she always showed determination
to reach her goal. Another messageleft to us by the story of the
Snow Queen is that empathy and compassionare virtues that allow us to be understanding
(12:39):
and supportive of others, especially whenthey need our support, just as many
of the friends Margaret made during heradventure remember them very well. That'
s all for today. I hopeyou' ve had a lot of fun
(13:03):
and remember to come back next Tuesdayto hear another wonderful one. I'
ll be back soon.
