Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello everyone, and welcome back to Conversations Live. I'm your
host Service Web, So glad you guys could join us
once again for a radio audience tuning in at max
WYAD ninety four point one FM and WYEED on line
dot com or God that you all can be with us.
I also to join this online worldwide dra a podcast
that I heard radio on Amazon Music. Were glad you
all could be with us as well. As the weather
gets cooler, many homeowners are looking for ways to stay

(00:22):
comfortable and safe while keeping energy costs down. That's why
we're really excited to welcome back HGTV star at blash
Out to our broadcast today. He's joining us from a
custom home in Virginia. He's best known a course for
shows like Your Pressures and Build It Forward, but now
he's partnering with the Propane Education and Research Council to
share our homeowners can build or remodel their homes to

(00:44):
meet their energy needs. Matt, always great to have you
on things again for the time.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
So I want to talk about this first of all.
I mean, can you tell us about the custom home
that you're visiting from today.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
It's a beautiful custom home and in Charlottesville, Virginia. You
should see there's like deer out the window. It's just
it's stunning in this while I'm here. It's a great
example of how you know, propane can power a whole home.
It can be an energy solution for an entire home.
Because this propane tank here at a thousand gallons, it's

(01:15):
stored on site. Families aren't limited to where utilities stop.
I mean, they have natural gas in this neighborhood, but
it was more cost effective to put a pro paine
tank here rather than having to dig all the way
to the natural gas line. You know, you can build
in locations. You know, you can build almost anywhere. You
can enjoy the comforts of a warm home in the

(01:37):
colder months. And that's one of the things I love
about this home. You know, propane is powering all the
comforts from furnace, tankless water heater, kitchen range, fireplace, outdoor grill.
The energy is there when you need it right, energy independence,
and that makes you know, it means comfort you can
count on, and it's just a real sense of security.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
I love that it's read up your alley. When it
comes to only sharing tits for homeowners. So why is
it important to consider the energy that powers a home?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Well, I mean I've worked on hundreds of homes, I've
as a contractor, and you know, I could say that
from experience that your your energy source impacts everything of
how your home performs. Right, you got comfort, you got safety,
long term costs, you got to think about the environmental impact.
And that's what families want today. They need energy solutions
that are reliable, affordable, clean, and that's why pro Pain

(02:31):
is such a smart choice. It can power all the
major appliances, you know, like I talked about, even clothes drying. Uh.
And it's on site storage. You know, you can build
almost anywhere. And I love that. I have a you know,
I have a pro paane power generator myself. I just
have that peace of mind, that security. When that power
goes out, it's gonna click on my house. I'm gonna

(02:54):
get heats, I'm gonna get you know, refrigeration, I'm gonna
get lights. It's gonna keep my family safe, and it's
there's no price for that peace of mind.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Yeah, such a great point. You know, outside of keeping
our homes, you know, being able to keep them comfortable
and met. The other thing people think about though, is
the environment. How does the way we power homes impact
the environment.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Well, it could make a big difference. Right this home
sits on five acres, it's an environmentally sensitive area. You know.
You got propane produces thirty five percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
It's non toxic, which means that in the rare, rare
event that it may leak, it won't contaminate the soil
or the water. And then also, you know, we think

(03:36):
about the electricity and all the electricity that we're bringing in,
you know, which is which is great, but the US
electric grid there was just a study, you know, from
the National Department of Energy and it reports that power
outages could increase one hundred fold by twenty thirty because
the electric grid is struggling from AI and in all

(03:57):
of these data storage centers and even the all the
electric cars. So you know, we got to think about
the diversification. And it's just not putting all our eggs
into one baskets thinking okay, what could we do to
have you know, that energy source. And that's why pro
pain was a good choice for me, a great choice
for your home, and I just want people to think about,

(04:19):
you know, is this the right choice for me and
my family? And you know, I definitely think that it's
something that you should look into and invest in.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
I love that and really great points there too.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
The other thing, of course that we're having this conversation met,
people may be thinking about cost energy bills or always
top of mind for families, how can homeowners make their
energy systems more efficient?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah, energy bills, right, they just keep on going up.
You're like, oh my gosh, and it fluctuates, right, so
you know, think about pro pain. You buy you know,
the tank of pro Pain. It's at one price. You
don't have to worry about it fluctuating all over the
place and choosing the best appliances that run more efficiently
and last longer.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Pro Pain it's a clean energy, so it's not going
to gum up your systems. The propane appliances do really
well for fergusons can last up to fifty percent longer
than electric heat pumps. Tankless water heaters they only you know,
give you hot water when you need it. It's going
to save you money even closed dryers. Right, So pro

(05:19):
pain it produces a wet heat rather than electric dryers.
They produce like a dry heat, so it's going to
dry your clothes faster and it's not going to be
as hard on the fabric. So you know, you you
add this all up and it's going to come down
to lower energy bills, which I think everybody needs at
this time.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah, it's a really good point and such great tips
for our audience. Matt. As you're known for doing a
course or he's just saying that on television. It's great
to have you here on the radio show to talk
about it again. Everyone that Blashel's been our guess, you know,
as an ATTV star of course real estate and building expert.
Talk with us about some of the benefits of course
making home were resilient and how pro pain can help

(05:58):
you with that. Matt, where can our audience'scope for more information?
