outlooks that we have to consider andan every evolving professional landscape. In these

fifty Best US Jobs lists gets insightinto the most fault after skills and careers
for this upcoming year. The listis part of Indeed's twenty twenty four Worker
Insights Report, which reveals how workersare feeling at the start of twenty twenty
four. And it's hard to believewe're going into feb right now here to
take us into the list. We'reexcited to welcome INDEED career strategist Clint Corns.
He's going to give us not onlycourse a look at the list,

Pleasure to be here. So,Clint, this is interesting. There's so
much that is happening when it comesto the job market. But tell us
about the new twenty twenty four bestJobs list. Absolutely why? As you
mentioned, it's part of Indeed's twentytwenty four work Force Insights Report. One
thing that reports showed us was thatover two thirds of today's workers are open

to new opportunities and feel optimistic intheir job prospects in twenty twenty four.
So INDEED really hopes this list helpsjob seekers discover opportunities and turn their potential
into new futures. Love that andI thank you from everything we've been hearing,
Clint, it seems as so peopleare feeling more optimistic, which is
a great thing for sure. Sowhat are the top five best jobs in

(01:55):
top three industries that the list fiundabsolutely so. For our top five best
jobs. Starting at number one,we have mental health technicians number two,
loan officer, number three, mentalhealth therapists, number four, electrical engineer,
and rounding out the top five,we have construction project manager. Now,
as far as our top industries,we see healthcare at the top.

I had already mentioned mental health technicianand mental health therapists among the top five,
and we also have psychiatrists on ourlist, which is really showing a
growing need for mental health prioritization.Manufacturing and construction is also high in demand.
We see engineering jobs like electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and civil engineer
in the list, and finance jobsare among the top. You know,

we have businesses and individuals really tighteningour budgets in the current market, so
there really is a demand for thosetypes of roles. That's interesting, Clint,
Clint, I know that there's beena lot of you know, course
changes in the job market with thepast few years, especially of course post
to pandemic, But how does thisyear's list compare to previous years lists.

Absolutely, one of the biggest differenceswe're we're seeing right now is in regards
to tech jobs which are really facingthe aftermaths from a year of layoffs and
hiring freezes. So tech roles reallyface a thirty two percent decrease in top
roles amongst this list compared to twentytwenty three, we really only have three
such jobs amongst the top twenty fivethis year. Clint, was there anything

that surprised you about this year's list. I think one of the biggest surprises
but really shouldn't be, is thefocus on mental health really being high.
In twenty twenty four, we hadmentioned those healthcare jobs at the top of
the list, including our number onemental health technician, which previously wasn't even
on the list in twenty twenty three. But according to Mental Health America,

Yeah, you know, according tothis rapport by Mental Health America, there's
an overall increase in Americans who arereceiving mental health care in the last year.
So that really explains the growth inthis industry. Well, tell you,
I can totally understand that, especiallywith everything that everyone's been dealing with.
It's great to know though that thatis something that is in demand because
