also tuning in through our online affiliatesthrough iHeart Radio on Amazon Music.
For that you all could join usas well. Well. You guys are
probably been hearing a lot about AI, but you may not know about some

(00:42):
of the options that are out therethat can be very beneficial for all of
us. What will the world's firstAI supercomputer do when it comes to the
future of innovation and the environment? You may ask well. Joining us life
from Levi Stadium with some exciting newson this announcement and more. We're excited
to welcome Katie Moore to our broadcast. Kat is the vice president of Corporate

(01:02):
Marketing and business development and cadence.I want to talk to Katie only about
of course this AI enabled supercomputer, but also some of the benefits that all
of us can be able to learnfrom as well. Katie, thank you
again for the time. Really appreciateit. Hey, thanks for having me,
Cyrus, how you doing doing reallygood man, Thank you so much
for the time and for sharing thisinformation with us. As I mentioned,
there's so much out there when itcomes to AI. But what is the

(01:25):
introduction of the first AI enabled supercomputerfor design means? Yeah, I'm really
excited to talk about it because it'sgoing to have a huge impact. It's
going to be transformational with respect tothings that people use every day, you
know, whether it's your car, your mobile phone, you know, laptop
computer. It's going to transform howthose products are being designed and developed today.

(01:47):
It's also going to have a hugeimpact on our environment around sustainability.
So really excited to talk more aboutthat. So a lot of our audience
may just be discovering this, katHow is it being put to un so
today? It has many applications. One big area is in the area of
automotive design. As you may know, the automotive manufacturers. They rely on

(02:13):
software and hardware to design and simulatetheir automobiles, their vehicles for safety,
for performance, and speed. Sowe're definitely being used there. There's a
specific area, you know, inracing where it's even more aggressive when it
comes to designing for speed. Formulaone kicks off later this month, and

(02:34):
you know in the area of Formulaone they design their cars. They're all
custom design cars. Every car inFormula one is different, and they use
this kind of technology to build saya digital twin of the car before they
actually manufacture it. This means theycan simulate, they can predict how the
car is going to perform in software, thereby saving a lot of money and

(02:55):
production costs and manufacturing costs. Well, that's of course when you think about
automobiles in these days KT A lotof times people want to think about how
it impacts the environment. So canyou tell us about the immediate and long
term environmental benefits of this AI supercomputer. Yeah, it will definitely have an

(03:15):
impact on being able to quickly andefficiently reduce the amount of carbon footprint that's
being consumed in the world today.By twenty thirty, it's been projected and
yes, I said twenty thirty. The year twenty thirty, it's projected that
over twenty percent of the world's totalelectrical power will be consumed by data centers,

(03:39):
and this technology can be used tohelp people who design data centers reduce
that amount of power, thereby creatinga more sustainable planet for everyone, not
only this generation, but few futuregenerations as well. Love and speaking of
the future, what are some potentialfuture uses that we can look forward to

(04:00):
because of this. Yeah, that'sa great question, So I'm really excited
to talk about that because what I'dlike to say is the future is now.
One of the areas where we talkabout improving is a digital biology or
drug discovery, and this kind oftechnology can be used effectively by pharmaceutical companies
to greatly accelerate the amount of timeit takes to bring a new drug to

(04:26):
market. The process can take morethan ten years to go from start to
finish when it comes to bringing anew drug to market, and this will
significantly increase that by orders of magnitude. And also while saving time, it'll
be more reliable because they'll be ableto run more tests and more efficiently.

(04:47):
So it's just really exciting to beable to talk about that and I can't
wait to see what happens in thatfield. Well, it's a love for
us to look forward to. Kt. This's while we're glad to have you
here with us again. Every oneKT more has been our guest. Katie
is the vice president of the CorporateMarketing and Business Development for Cadence talking with
us about the world's first AIS supercomputerfor design. But it means for us

(05:09):
today and also what to look forwardto. So, Katie, where can
we go to be able to findout more information and to be able to
keep up with any developments. Yeah, we would love for people to go
follow us on LinkedIn Cadence Design Systems, or you can go to our website
at Cadence dot com. All right, Katie, thank you so much for
the great work that you're doing andwhat they're doing. They're at Cadence and
looking forward to speaking with you again. Hey, thanks so much for having
