(03:25):
making things happen around here. Now Trending topics.
Speaker 8 (03:30):
Here we go.
Speaker 7 (03:32):
There is a podcast that I was listening to these folks,
thought that the music industry has gotten a little stale
and felt that it was missing creativity. It's lacking creativity
right now. Here's what they sit on a recent podcast
in regards to that, you.
Speaker 11 (03:51):
Get the music out in the world to be heard independent.
Speaker 7 (03:54):
Artists looking on right now, because we did with independent artists,
How do we get somebody like you all to notice this?
Speaker 8 (03:59):
I knew that.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
The rappers are not exciting, singers are not exciting. There's
no new quothnographers, there's no new companies coming up, like
Who's Who's making something new and fresh.
Speaker 8 (04:13):
I think there's a lot of new and frapping in.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
It's just that we gonna like, you know what I'm saying, like,
there's a lot.
Speaker 7 (04:18):
Of new autists coming out of this that the other
doing it off like crazy small. That's right. They're saying
that the music industry is lacking creativity, lacking moves, and
it's stale right now. So I was really thinking about that,
and do I think that the music industry is stale
(04:39):
right now? I think, in my personal opinion, it's kind
of still in a couple of areas, meaning that I
have not seen that group come out in a while.
I haven't seen a good female group R and B
wise even come out in a while, So I think
in those areas it's missing. Uh, it is lacking a
little stale in those areas. Creativity wise, I'm kind of
(05:00):
on the fence, you know, yes and no so, but
I figured since you guys are in the music industry,
you all would know a little more so and have
a different opinion more so than I will on that.
Chuck Platinum, what do you think about that? Do you
think that the music industry is still in lack creativity
right now?
Speaker 12 (05:21):
I don't think that it's still in lack of creativity.
I think that it's always there is artists that's creating.
I think the fact that the discovery may be lacking,
but there's always artists and people out there that's doing
a thing that's you know, it just really depends where
you're looking at.
Speaker 8 (05:40):
That's how I feel about it.
Speaker 7 (05:41):
Okay, what do you mean discover as far as discovering
new talent.
Speaker 8 (05:44):
Or discovering new talent. Absolutely, I mean, you know, back
in the day, it.
Speaker 12 (05:49):
Was traditional for you know, labels to promote new talent,
and I think now the labels are focused on other things.
So you know, there's not many people being promoted out
there that have that talent that people are looking for.
Speaker 8 (06:05):
But I believe it's available. I believe that there's people.
Speaker 12 (06:08):
Out there that's you know, that definitely had that skill
set that can be promoted.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
I think that it's just lacking.
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Okay, okay, that's what's up. That's what's up. Britta LEVINEXT
to you, miss Sheela. What do you think is the
music industry lacking creativity? Is a stale right now? Yes?
Speaker 13 (06:25):
Or no?
Speaker 9 (06:27):
You know what, It just depends. I feel like fifty
percent yes in certain areas. With the creativity, you gotta
go to the trenches to kind of get the creativity.
You know, a lot of people out here, or a
lot of females, different things that you want to put
on these jeans and a T shirt on stage. If
I want to see jeans and a T shirt on stage,
(06:47):
I'll go watch my auntie a karaoke. You know what
I'm saying, Like, I would like to see like real
performers out there. And number two, back to what you
was talking about. You said something about out groups. You know, nowadays,
everybody selfish and everybody want to be Beyonce. Everybody want
(07:07):
to be Beyonce in these groups, so nobody wants to
not be Beyonce in the group. Everybody want that spot.
Like even though everybody on the same stage and in
a singing group, which people don't know, everybody in the
singing group get paid exactly the same, whether you the
lead singer or not. But that that fame and everything
like get to get your head and everybody can't be
on the same page and people be arguing. So that's
(07:29):
why you can't never really you're not seeing groups because
somebody always doing something, somebody going to jail, somebody, uh,
you know, they they can't wake up, They not on time.
This one think they better than everybody, and they not
the lead.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
You know.
Speaker 9 (07:42):
They they arguing, they're not doing what they're supposed to do.
So that's why you don't see that many groups. But
I do feel like creativity is kind of kind of interesting.
But if you go to the trenches, you'll find it.
You know, it's there all day.
Speaker 7 (07:55):
Okay, all right, what do you think about that keyword?
A radio show on on social media platform, you could
chime in on that. So far right now, we've got
a poll going on in the clubhouse room. If you're
checking us out in the clubhouse a keyword d a
radio show, there's a poll. Is the music industry steal
when it comes to creativity?

Speaker 5 (20:15):

Speaker 7 (20:17):
I love that part and showing us now is our
folks out of New York, right, yes, sir, all right,
absolutely okay, now asks what's up?
Speaker 5 (20:27):
Man?
Speaker 7 (20:28):
Join us now? And we got Chuck Platinum in the building, Man,
Chuck Platinum. How you doing a nice sir?
Speaker 8 (20:33):
Feeling great?
Speaker 7 (20:34):
Great, great, great, glad to be here, very good man.
First of all, thank you for staying up with us. Man,
I know what's laid out there. We appreciate the fact
you stayed up with us to be a part of this.
Speaker 12 (20:44):
Absolutely absolutely. Well, it's my time. I usually work at
night anyway, so this this is my time to.
Speaker 8 (20:49):
Shine, So be all good.
Speaker 7 (20:50):
Okay, it's all good man. So you're normally making tracks
and artists at this time, right?
Speaker 8 (20:55):
Absolutely? Absolutely?
Speaker 7 (20:57):
Okay, Well, you know, well speaking of of a track, uh,
by by way of your I g uh you showed
a part of you in the studio. I guess making
some magic. Can you explain this right here? For sir,
(21:28):
that's you and that's you in the studio and and
but I guess making a track right there, man? So
what was the magic behind that right there?
Speaker 1 (21:36):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (21:36):
That was just something that was real quick.
Speaker 10 (21:39):
I was.
Speaker 8 (21:39):
I was actually on my way to work. Uh, I
believe that was yesterday.
Speaker 12 (21:45):
I might have posted that I was on my way
to work, and you know, I just wanted to be
creative and just get some get some time, get some
wreck time in the gym. So you know I had
discovered that sample. I'm always digging in the crates so
to speak. You know what I mean, which is our
crates is online now. But I was digging in the
crates and uh, you know found that that gym right there.
(22:08):
Just chopped it up and you know, put a little
clip on. And at that time when I put that
clip up there, that beat wasn't even done.
Speaker 8 (22:15):
It was just a loop.
Speaker 12 (22:16):
So you know, I finished it up and you know,
just made it happen. So yeah, shout out to you
for finding that one. That's my most recent creation.
Speaker 7 (22:25):
Okay, now you're gonna take that beat in hand and
get that to somebody, right, I would assume, right.
Speaker 12 (22:30):
Yeah, I probably I'm deciding where that's gonna go right now.
I'm working on a couple of projects, so I'm just deciding,
you know, what, what I'm gonna do. But that was
just some that was just some wreck time. But when
I played it, I definitely got some great responses from it.
So who knows who they out of.
Speaker 8 (22:46):
Land up with?
Speaker 7 (22:48):
Okay, all right, man and speak speaking of which man
had a chance to research you some more on your
ig and uh, you were saying you were speaking about
an artist artist having a track and and having your
tracks for a certain amount of time and not putting
the tracks out, and that if you give them a
certain amount of time and they don't put the track out,
(23:08):
then you're gonna take that track give it to somebody else.
Speaker 8 (23:11):
That's a fact.
Speaker 7 (23:11):
What is the timetable? How long do you give it
artists to put the track out? And why?
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Right?
Speaker 12 (23:20):
So it's really more or less about communication with me.
A lot of times, you know, it's pretty common for
artists not to have songs ready right away, or you know,
you might have artists that may be sitting on songs
or do songs for other.
Speaker 8 (23:37):
Projects, which is cool.
Speaker 12 (23:38):
I have no problem with that, But when you have
no communication about it, then we've maybe created one song
or multiple songs. You know, at least the producer should
have the opportunity to know exactly what you're doing with
the song, so you know I'm giving them. You know,
it really depends if we have a relationship. You know,
(24:00):
it might be a little while, maybe you know, six months.
You know, I might reach out to you, hey, you know,
what are we doing with the song? Or you know,
are you doing anything with these beats? And if there's
really no response then at that time and this is
only if we don't have any contract you excuse me,
contractual obligations or if you didn't you know, because sometimes
you give beats to artists to work on. They may
(24:21):
like to beat, they may not have paid for the
beat already. So you know, if there's no contractual obligations
to the beat, then you know, there's really no time frame.
It's like I'll ask you within that time period. Hey,
you know, if you tell me that you like it
and you're gonna use it, then you know, is this
song gonna be used? Because a lot of times, you know,
(24:42):
in the majors, you won't even know. You might send
something to somebody and they may not use it, and
you know that beat is just out there. So I'm
just me working on with independent artists, I think is
their responsibility to let the producer know if they're going
to use their material or not. So I say, you know,
six months year, like I said on the post, six
month years. You know, it might be a year, it
(25:03):
might be six months. I might reach out to you,
but you know, we're definitely gonna Really it's more about
the incentive of all those old tracks that I got.
Let's let's let's get those back. It's been like two
three four years we did these songs, and what are
we doing with them? But that just came from me
listening to my catalog and you know, listening to some beasts,
like dang I sent this beat out. I wonder, wonder
(25:26):
what this person is doing with this beat. So yeah,
that's where that came out. That's where that came Oh okay.
Speaker 7 (25:32):
That's what's up man, No dam man, we got Chuck
Platinum in the building. Y'all want to have a highlight
and keyword A radio show on on social media platforms.
Let me know what's up at this point. Brit living

Speaker 9 (25:46):
Okay, Chuck, how you doing tonight.
Speaker 8 (25:48):
I'm wonderful. How about you?
Speaker 9 (25:50):
I'm doing great. I'm doing great. What is your favorite
part about working and producing?
Speaker 12 (25:56):
My favorite part about working and producing is really just
putting the right together, just creating the record being you know,
having the artists. You know, you draw one emotion from
the creation of the record, and then you have you know,
the other emotion from the artists bringing their perspective on.
So when you gel all of that together, that usually
makes a great, you know, great combination, especially if you're
(26:19):
fortunate enough to work with the artists in the studio
and produce the record for them. But you know, you
could find that magic even if you're just emailing it
back and forth and creating like that. So that would
be that definitely would be my favorite thing about creating
with the artists.
Speaker 7 (26:35):
Okay, that's what's up. That's what's up.
Speaker 28 (26:37):
Now.
Speaker 7 (26:37):
What's all you created? Was Hustler man? So tell us
about this Hustler record we got here?
Speaker 12 (26:42):
Oh yeah, Hustler, that's the first single off my project
called The Warm Up. I released that project on June twentieth,
and uh, you know, Hustler is basically just about what
I do every day. You know, I get up every
single day. I'm an entrepreneur. I uber at night, you know,
to keep the lights on, you know. So it's basically
(27:03):
just about you know, me getting up every day, every night,
twenty four hours, seven days a week, just hustling. Whatever
it is, whether it's music, whether it's uber, and whether
it's you know, whatever I'm doing.
Speaker 8 (27:14):
You know, it's always about making that dollar.
Speaker 7 (27:17):
Legally, of course, legally, for sure, I want to make
that dollar. Make that clear legally.

How are you doing tonight, man.
Speaker 31 (40:22):
I'm doing okay.
Speaker 7 (40:23):
I had a while week at the O C Fair. Okay,
that's what's uping man? O C Fair.
Speaker 31 (40:28):
Yeah, the school tour did a show down, did a
forty minute show uh huh. And I was upset that
Brittany wasn't there. But that's okay, like me, so I.
Speaker 7 (40:40):
Feel it. I feel it, oh man, man, But we
had a ball down there, brit Living extra Human Chandelier
has some has a chance to uh do something with
Nick Cann and Nick can had it? What a podcast
that when Nick had britt Yeah.
Speaker 9 (40:58):
So, I mean, I guess you can call it a podcast,
but it's it's like a nighttime nighttime talk show, you know,
it's just just on a network called One Second. I
think it's called Waverley. It is a Wondery Media. So
(41:20):
it's on Wondery Media right now and it's on YouTube
at the moment and on Instagram. But you know he's
moving to get it on another network or whatever. But yeah,
it's called Nick Cannon at night. You know it's like.
Speaker 7 (41:36):
Okay, well, well MD, here here's a taste of bread
on that show with Nick Cannon on this nighttime show.
Here's how it went.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Is it hellalthy to tell your spouse every day how
fine they are?
Speaker 5 (41:54):
Yes, that's very.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Healthy human, Sandulra, And you have an amazing boy.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
It's a great I think.
Speaker 11 (42:06):
I'm sure you talk about this and the intimacy styles
of letting your partner know how attracted you are.
Speaker 7 (42:12):
To Yes, right there. So you was on there with Nigga.
Speaker 8 (42:18):
What was that about?
Speaker 7 (42:19):
Britt? You was singing? What was it about?
Speaker 9 (42:22):
So pretty much the shows about relationships and he'll have
you asked questions like about relationships and uh. That the
lady that was talking, she's one of the people offer
married at first title. She's like a coach, you know,
like a relationship coach.
Speaker 15 (42:39):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (42:40):
And she's like she's a doctor and she gives advice
on what she feels like to help you out and
help other people out in relationships.
Speaker 3 (42:47):
You know.
Speaker 9 (42:47):
So that was just my question and she gave her
take on it. But Nick and another comedian named Courtney
b they agreed that they want somebody to tell them
all day that you know, they think they find you know,
but the doctor said she didn't think that that was
a good idea. So it's just you know, you asking
for advice about your relationship. You know, it talks about
(43:09):
all type of things.
Speaker 7 (43:10):
Do you check? Check that out right there? Nick Cannon's
show right there on YouTube. You can find that it's
out there real.
Speaker 9 (43:17):
Easy to find out at night, and you can add
it on Instagram to see the next episode that's coming out.
And you can check me out on their Instagram and
Nick Cannon's Instagram.
Speaker 7 (43:29):
So it's pre recorded, not live, pre recorded, yes, pre
recorded show right there.
Speaker 8 (43:36):
For sure.
Speaker 7 (43:36):
We'll go ahead and roll on with this right here.
It's trending topic number two here again, WoT to buy
Spotlight through sixty Media Again, like all the celebrity stuff
I do, make sure you follow it it spot Light
through sixty Media on all social media platforms. By the way,
that is coming up momentarily after this. If you have
one hundred dollars and you have that to put your
(43:58):
music on all streaming platforms. As far as marketing and promotion,
here's what someone said to do on a recent podcast
that I was checking out.
Speaker 11 (44:08):
You get the music out in the world to be heard.
Distro Kids the cheapest out there. It charges two dollars
and eight cents for unlimited tracks. Next, I'm gonna throw
fifteen dollars at a Canva Pro subscription. It's gonna cover tour,
concert flyers, merch mockups, cover art, all my graphic and
visual needs. And next, I'm gonna put twenty dollars at
a chat GPT plus subscription.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Literally solve every problem that I have as.
Speaker 7 (44:29):
An independent artist.
Speaker 11 (44:30):
Next, I'm gonna spend twenty dollars on a Symphony Pro account.
All right, this is gonna be my music marketing hub
for my artist career. I'm gonna focus on two things immediately.
Number one, building my artist website. It's gonna have links
to streaming platforms, merch store, tour dates, et cetera. And
then number two, I'm focusing on collecting as much fan
data as possible so that I can be in control
(44:50):
of my own career. Now that I have all this
fan data, I'm gonna throw thirty eight dollars at flow Desk.
They're gonna handle all my email marketing. This way, I
have a direct line to my fans, no middleman involved.
Anytime I'm announcing a new song, tour dates, special VIP access,
just want to thank them for their support. I've got
direct communication to them.
Speaker 7 (45:09):
That is a lot right there. But that's what he
did as far as breaking down, using just one hundred
bucks and getting their music, getting your music out there
to as many people as humanly possible by way of
social media. This your kid and all of the platforms
that he named. And I'm gonna have to end up
posting that somewhere on the radio show dot com on
(45:29):
the site so folks could check that out. And that
is a lot to digest right there in that forty
five second snippet that I had there. What do you
think about that? MD?
Speaker 8 (45:40):
I think he fell a snake oil.
Speaker 7 (45:42):
Yeah, yep, yeah, And they don't work that way. The
very first thing you got to have it, so.
Speaker 31 (45:51):
A good product, a great product right before idiot had
crap works all right?
Speaker 7 (45:57):
Well, Britt, what do you think you being an artist,
you think that's something you can do? I know you
it ran through it.
Speaker 8 (46:03):
But any of that that you that you.
Speaker 7 (46:05):
Think might work.
Speaker 8 (46:08):
I don't even know what he said.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
I just know it.
Speaker 7 (46:15):
Was a lot to digest. Yep, it was so pretty
go ahead.
Speaker 9 (46:21):
Is he saying, you know about you promoting only having
one hundred dollars? Is that what he's talking about?
Speaker 7 (46:26):
Yeah, if you had a hundred bucks, he was just
telling you how he can you can stretch that in
so many directions to promote your music.
Speaker 9 (46:34):
I mean, if you had a hundred bucks, yeah, I
mean you could do something with it. You know, you
can't do everything, but you can do something with it.
You know, like you on social media and you can
you could pay for what do you call it branding?
You know, pay to boost your posts. You know, like
you put twenty five here or six dollars here, six
(46:54):
dollars there. You know, like, yeah, but what that what
that generate?
Speaker 7 (47:01):
Any revenue for you?
Speaker 5 (47:03):
You can pay?
Speaker 31 (47:04):
That's what That's the big problem. We get all those
independent labels to pay, but we're never showing them how
they can generate revenue back from all that money.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
They yes, so it can.
Speaker 9 (47:16):
So this is the thing. It depends on what posts
you're boosting. Are you boosting a post telling them how
to get to your website, telling them how to buy
your music, and telling them how to buy your merch
What is the post that you're boosting trying to get
out there saying you know? So, it just depends on
what the boost is. And sometimes it could boost it
to two thousand people, It could boost it to five
(47:40):
hundred people. It could it could boost it to forty
thousand people. It just depends if you're gonna put that
whole hundred on there, or are you gonna do like
the twenty twenty five. You know, it just depends on
how much you're gonna put on the boost within the hundred.
But you could split it up where because you can.
You can only put six dollars on there, and that's
six dollars a go home week, So how many posts
(48:01):
you're gonna do with that six dollars and you're promoting
this is where you buy my merch, this is where
you buy my music, so you know, you can make
that hundred back and more. It just depends on what
your marketing plan is and what your graphics look like? R.
Speaker 7 (48:17):
What do y'all think about that keyword? Did radio show on?
