Speaker 1 (00:41):
So they said the snap benefits were cut off, and
then they would cut back on, and then a partial
bit was cut off, and then a little bit was
cut off, and then they cut it off again. I
am just confused. We need to monitor that, monitor that
whole situation.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Man.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I just hope they come to some type of resolution.
We can up with something. We saw something tonight that
is we're going to bring you the radio show Doug

(01:20):
you y'all definitely go ahead check in with the crew
real quick as we go ahead, get the show started.
Britain living extra human, Chandelier partying with a bang, right there.
How was the party week here for you?

Speaker 7 (01:36):
It was amazing. It was really fun. Me and Kelly
Good had a good time. Three day weekend. It was
really nice. The birthday was extra special. I got a
lot of new Chandelier radio TV segments coming, you know.

Speaker 8 (01:53):
So, yeah, I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
That's what's up. That's what's up. And I got this
any mix that I had, we only try to slide
that in here tonight too as well. Yeah, yeah, I
got it. I got it done best in my abilities.
But it's all good. We're gonna make it happen anyway.

Speaker 9 (02:10):
It and also radio E and Urban influencer. It's gonna
give us the upcoming news on independent artists and record
labels so we can announce.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Oh okay, all right, that's what's up. Man's yeah, that's
that's that's what you've been working on. MD.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
All shall we go go ahead up to the trending topics.
Trending topics this week brought to you by Spotlight three
sixty Media. If you enjoy the celebrity stuff that I do,
go ahead right there, check it out, follow us keyword
Spotlight three sixty Media. Now I had a chance to
catch up this week had a chance to work a
industry party the if some of you may or may

(02:53):
not knowing, the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
happened over the weekend and a lot of some of
the inductees was outcasts, and Salt and Pepper among many
that were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
At a chance. Yeah, yeah, that kind of rock and
roll Hall of Fame.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Man.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Well, I had a chance over the weekend to catch
up with Salt of the legendary group Salt and Pepper,
who was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
and I asked her that one question, and that was
independent artists out there, why should they learn about the
music industry and learn more about the business side of

(03:33):
the music industry. And as you know, Salt and Pepper's
going through their whole deal as far as trying to
get their masters right now, and they going through a
whole legal battle with their record company. So here's what
Salt had to say when I asked her about learning
why independent artists should learn about the music industry, particularly

(03:54):
the business side, is what she had to say, I
should know about the music industry.

Speaker 10 (04:00):
Fight for your rights, and don't stop fighting, read your contracts.

Speaker 8 (04:04):
Do your due diligence.

Speaker 10 (04:06):
Because you love the music and you love what you do,
but the industry is not gonna love you.

Speaker 8 (04:13):
You gotta be strong, not the people.

Speaker 10 (04:15):
The people will love you, but the music business is
gonna try and take advantage of you. So make sure
that you take care of yourself.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
So key takeaway from that brief conversation I had with
Salt was you know the industry is trying to spit
you out and they're gonna be using you, and that
you need to know how to read your contracts and
everything and fight for your music and everything like that.
I want to get your thoughts on that. And what
she has to say is she spot on with that.

(04:45):
MD will start with you, what do you think, MD?

Speaker 9 (04:49):
You know I've been around all those artists, you all
the said Snoop, all of them, and the story is
the same year after the year after year after year.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
You know, the majors they just don't care about you.

Speaker 9 (05:07):
Well, after fifty years of hip hop, we should have
figured that out twenty five thirty years ago, that they
didn't care. We've probably been in a better situation where
we're we've probably been in a better situation we're in
now then back in those days. Because back in those

(05:27):
days we had a lot of hip hop artists making millions,
you know, it was.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
On the charts.

Speaker 9 (05:33):
Now since we couldn't pass nothing down to the newer
hip hop artists, they end up getting bitten in the
butt and it's just not working right. And you can't
learn how to read the contract. That is complicated. That's
why you have to have a good attorney that you

(05:54):
can really trust to disciple what this PaperWorks is saying
about your career.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
So she's saying.

Speaker 9 (06:03):
Right there, your fans can always love you, but the
big boy that run the game, they ain't gonna.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Love you like that.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, brit delivin next to human chandelier, being
the artist that you are, What do you think about
what Salt had to say?

Speaker 7 (06:22):
I agree, Technically the music business is about ten to
fifteen percent, maybe twenty percent talent and the rest of
it is business.

Speaker 8 (06:34):
You know.

Speaker 7 (06:34):
So if you're getting caught up in your art, you know,
and you're not reading the fine print and having a
lawyer read the fine print, you might run into some
trouble eventually in your career.

Speaker 11 (06:45):
Mm hm.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
True, that true, d King Tahoe being what you just
heard from from what us saw that to say, what
do you think about that?

Speaker 8 (06:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (06:54):
Man, honestly just piggybacking off what was already previously said it.

Speaker 8 (07:00):
Then there's business.

Speaker 12 (07:01):
So you have to use the resources available in the
knowledge that people have already attained and put all that
together to be able to do all that you really
want to do, because if you're not aware of what's
going on, people will take advantage and you'll lose your
spot and your shot really quick.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Keyworddal radio show and on social media platforms. Let me know
your thoughts on that. Any any independent artists out there?
What Salt just said, knowing your contracts, knowing the business,
the business side of the business, the record, the companies
will use you and spitch it out. What do you
think about that? Keyworda radio show on all social media platforms.

(07:40):
Just go ahead and get it out of there. What's up?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
It's salt located here and.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
No salt there in New York. They're out here.

Speaker 4 (07:47):

happen the radio show.

Speaker 15 (19:38):
Yeah, get closer to your fee ta case.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
Time for the radio show. Move the crowd way inside
and move the crowd right about now. As we're taking
artists off stage, bring them backstage to get the nose.

Speaker 8 (19:52):
Of my brits up close and personally.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
That's right showing us now is an artist I had
a chance to catch up with at a recent event.
He is in the building right now. Man, we got
King Tahoe in the building. Man So, King Tahoe, how
you doing to nice sir? Officially, Well that's the hottest burst.
Thank you guys. Thing much for out of me for sure,
man so definitely, man So, King Tahoe. Man, I had
a chance, like I just mentioned a few seconds ago,

(20:16):
to catch up with you at a recent event. And uh,
if you not knowing and not remembering how that went,
here's how that interview wins. King Tahoe is in the building,
man So, King Tahoe, Man, so, what's up?

Speaker 8 (20:27):
Not much?

Speaker 12 (20:28):
Man, I'm out here at the AFRO ors man just
grateful to be here. Shout out to Los Angeles shout
out to all my Africans.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
That's what's up.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Man.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Tell a new single, the.

Speaker 8 (20:36):
New singles called Vulnerable. It's out now on all platforms.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
All right, man, make sure you get that new single,
Vulnerable by King Tahoe. We're gonna bring him on the
radio show. We're gonna play the record. We're gonna talk
to him in a few weeks. We'll let you know
what's up.

Speaker 8 (20:47):
Thank you, Yeah, we outside.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah. Grateful definitely giving give him that ig and not
a real quick gain everywhere.

Speaker 8 (20:52):
K I n G t A h o E King Tahoe.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Definitely King tahol. Make sure you get that single all
shoat me platform. He will be on the guests on
the radio show Look Coming a Future.

Speaker 8 (21:01):
My name is Kaing Taha and you listening to the
radio show.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
I appreciate it. No, definitely bringing in into fuition right now.

Speaker 23 (21:07):
Man.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
So key to when I did that interview with you
probably about a month ago. Man, what what was you
thinking at that time?

Speaker 8 (21:14):
I was nervous.

Speaker 12 (21:15):
That was my first time doing any type of event
that had like a red carpet or anything going along.
But I was also grateful just to be able to
get some reps in and be able to get some
attention to shine on what I'm doing. I'm grateful for
every moment of this man, and I could be I

(21:35):
could be at home with nobody caring.

Speaker 8 (21:38):
So for the moment that that you guys are shared
with me. Gratitude, That's how I felt.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
That's what's up, man. So can you tell what kind
of style do you do? What type of type of
music do you do?

Speaker 8 (21:49):
So? I do R and B, I do pop. I'm
basically known as as the yearner from the hood.

Speaker 12 (21:56):
Like you know, I'm from me Stokling, But I grew
up on love songs, so that's what I like to
sing about. There's a lot of stuff that I see
in reality and I can let reality weigh me down.
Are the focus on the positives and the hope. So
I find a lot of hope within love. So that's
what I decided to sing about.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Man, we got King Tahoe in the building done the
MD and Britta living next to human chandelier? Where a
hole to get down? Here on the radio show inside
of Move the Crowd, We're living next to human schandelier.
Go ahead and uh ask King Tahoe a question.

Speaker 7 (22:28):
What was your favorite part about your project and what
was what was her least favorite part about the project?

Speaker 12 (22:39):
So, like working on that last single, it was it
was fun, but it was it was something different because
the song is called vulnerable, like I'm being very transparent
about what I'm dealing with as far as my dating
life and just how I'm moving forward as an accountable individual.

Speaker 8 (22:57):
So being real and being honest with myself.

Speaker 12 (23:01):
It was like looking in the mirror and sometimes like,
of course, a lot of times you're gonna enjoy what
you see, but every once in a while.

Speaker 8 (23:07):
You're like, when did I get there? Like, oh, that's
a that's a blimoit.

Speaker 12 (23:11):
So like looking in the mirror sometimes could be something
that it's tougher than than expected, but be able to
get that out and express myself. And and the song
is kind of closer like to disco than pop or
R and B. So I really liked doing something down
with Bendy awesome.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Mm hmm definitely for sure. Indeed, talk to uh, talk
to King Tahoe.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
All right, So King Tahoe, how do you feel tripping
all the way up here to the note to sow
cal from No Cow to go to a meaningful event
when you when you when you travel, How did that feel?

Speaker 8 (23:54):
Like I said it was?

Speaker 5 (23:55):
It was.

Speaker 12 (23:56):
It was humbling, It was it was like it was
over on me to an extent because everybody looked amazing.
Everybody was there on the court of celebrating that great occasion.
And I was just blessed man, like I always say,
I felt blessed to highly.

Speaker 8 (24:14):
Favored, and I was. I was grateful man.

Speaker 12 (24:17):
Driving driving up, I'm tired of driving. I'm trying to
get to Southwest. I got to get some flyer miles
or something. But that's how I felt.

Speaker 9 (24:25):
I felt tired, Yeah, driving from No Cow because that
was like a what a seven hour.

Speaker 12 (24:31):
Drive right on a good today, you know, if you're
playing it right, it's like five and a half.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Yeah, I was closed.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
Yeah, yeah, it's quite a bit.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
One more question. Do you have your own record label
and are you happy with your marketing team.

Speaker 8 (24:47):
I'm happy with my marketing team. I'll answer that first.

Speaker 12 (24:50):
I do not have my own record label, but the
people that I'm working with right now are are great
and we're making things happen, and you know, when that
time comes, h hopefully I'll use all the resources in
my knowledge to the best of my advantage, you know.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
So do you do you say starting your own label
is hard or would you think it's easy.

Speaker 12 (25:14):
I don't think anything worth it is easy, to be honest,
and I know that the music industry, just being an
artist alone is really difficult. So anybody that takes on
the challenge to start their own label, kudos to them
and much respect because I know just waking up every
day and continuing to be in the music industry is

(25:36):
a challenge.

Speaker 8 (25:37):
So respect to anybody taking those extra steps.

Speaker 4 (25:41):
But we do appreciate you taking this time out to
hang out with us.

Speaker 8 (25:47):
Oh no, I'm grateful for this. Thank you for having me,

of transparency when you look in the mirror and you like,
why this, why that?

Speaker 8 (26:06):
You have nobody to blame but yourself.

Speaker 12 (26:08):
So this is just me putting myself on a putting
myself on an instrumental for in on display for the
world to see.

Speaker 8 (26:16):
So when you ask why this, why that, King Tahoe, let.

Speaker 12 (26:20):

from this break. Yeah, we're gonna go ahead and do that. Okay, yeah, man,
stick and stay, don't go away. More to come strictly independent,
bumping the R and B music at as fine ash
off the radio show don't Move. Here's what's going on
recently on the radio show, putting out singles and and
putting out EPs right there, testing your testing your music

(31:38):
in that aspect, Britt, how many songs do you put
as far as testing is concerned, do you even test
or how does that go with you?

Speaker 8 (31:47):
I don't test.

Speaker 7 (31:48):
I just put things out and you see what people
like and what people don't like. But definitely, I really,
you know, like some people might not like that I'm
saying this, but I don't really put music out for
my fans like that like I do, But I don't.
It's really like what I like and if you don't

(32:10):
like it, you just don't like it. I do this
for myself and for like my mental health, you know.

Speaker 9 (32:17):
Was talking to music professionals and the majority of them
said that artists put too much out. You don't get
the fan base and the consumer opportunity to marinate on
the sound that they're trying to create as an artist,
and what they need to do is probably put out

(32:38):
a song every three to four weeks, but make sure
you do some promotion behind it.

Speaker 8 (32:50):
Right all. I'm here to support ourselves.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
We stopped by the lifetime release of the film, taking
that a truck start. A lot of supporters and celebrities
came out to support this film as a touch is
a very serious subject matter. I spoke to some of
the cast members as well as guests and got their
thoughts on this very important project.

Speaker 21 (33:10):
Or the importance of this film Taken Out a truck Stop.
It's one of the third in the franchise of The
Black Girl Missing. It's really important for us to look
out for one another, to also ring the bell that
when black and brown people go missing, that we need
the same urgency, the same compassion, the same not dismissal,
the validation. And this is why it's important for these messages,

(33:33):
for these movies to be told and for people to
talk about it, so that we are seen and we
are validated and we are looked after.

Speaker 28 (33:40):
It's such an important deal. The Black Girl Missing ill
is is so much unnecessary social justice to bring more
awareness to black and brown missing women, and what other
better way to do it than to put it in
our entertainment so that we're learning while we're being entertained.

Speaker 1 (33:56):
Cats Stuck at a truck Stop on Lifetime October two
this week to pick hit j T l R featuring
Snoop Dogg and Mad Scientists. That's my box with so
much trauma on the it g kind of hard being
jailed Double Nyt paraphrase I heard each week on the

but since British gotta get your thoughts on that, why
we ain't got no hip hop records in the top forty.
So we're gonna talk about that coming up in a

(35:03):
little bit and just as soon as we get this
mix in. So, Britt, I got this indie mix for you.
So we're gonna play this right now, all right, okay, okay,
all right, So I did the best I can. I

Show ripping and all the red carpets.

Speaker 3 (42:43):
Here's an exclusive celebrity.

Speaker 4 (42:44):
Interview Roger Weshs on this project here, thank you very good.
What we were like playing this role in this project here, lamb, it.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Was a lot of fun.

Speaker 10 (42:53):
I was I play a rapper, so that was like
new for me and challenging.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
What a good challenge.

Speaker 22 (43:00):
And it's such a you know, a beautiful love story.

Speaker 17 (43:03):
So to be a part of.

Speaker 4 (43:07):
Being a part of now part of this Lifetime Cranchi.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Well, this is my.

Speaker 29 (43:10):
Second Lifetime movie, So I am just blessed to be
a part of a Lifetime family and hopefully there's more come.
Lifetime is like iconic to me, you know what I mean,
Like Lifetime has been has been a part of our
household growing up.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
So to be here with Lifetime is such a beautiful blessing.

Speaker 16 (43:39):
Let's go, Let's go, Let's go with your girl Bretty
lovin X the Human Chandelier here on the radio show,
and you're listening to Love or Lust? Do you have
a problem with your relationship? Do you want to know
if it's love or lust. Let us all vote and
let us all let you know if you're in love
or if it's lust.

Speaker 1 (43:58):
Chewen saw love and lust right about now, Pretty Living
Extra human Chandelier, The floor is yours.

Speaker 31 (44:08):
It's your girl, Pretty Loving X the human Chandelier, And
today on love or lust? The topic is is it
love or lust if you are no longer with someone
and you guys have children and you live in the
same house, but you won't move out to be with
the person you're with because of the children.

Speaker 8 (44:31):
For example like Remy My and pat Pooss Okay.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
So they won't move out.

Speaker 7 (44:36):
They just living together to Yeah, they live in the
same house people, probably because of the child to make
it a whole family.

Speaker 8 (44:44):
That's what it is.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
That's what it is.

Speaker 1 (44:47):
Ah well, I guess it would be love for the child,
I guess, but for him.

Speaker 8 (44:53):
And Clarissa Shields like, yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:57):
That's spelling the borderline.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
Yeah uh, I think it's still feelings for the X though,
if you're in that house, because you know, if you
if you're not with the if you don't want to
be with the X at all, you you you you
want to be homeless. Then to be living in the
same house with the bail out. You're bailing out of there,
So I think it's still I think it's still Australia
in the fence, a little of both actually love for

(45:19):
the kid, uh maybe a little love still for the X.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
You know, I will go more love on this one.

Speaker 8 (45:27):
Yeah, but it's less towards Clarissa, is what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (45:32):
No, it ain't no less at all.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Well, I don't know their relationship, but I mean, I
guess it'd be if I had to pick a side,
they would be less. But you know, I don't know that.
I don't know their relationship to really speak on that,
to be honest with you, but I can say from what.

Speaker 7 (45:47):
You at, Clarissa want him to move out and move
in with her, but he still lives at Remy's house
with the family.

Speaker 9 (45:57):
But that ain't what you said. So I'm going bouy
with how you said it. And they don't want to
leave because sake of the kids.

Speaker 4 (46:04):
I will still say that's love, you know, because it
was just lust.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
He would have bell Yeah, he'd left.

Speaker 7 (46:13):
Part it is love, But on Clarissa Shield's part, it's lust.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (46:19):
But I'm saying on the question that you've provided us
it's more love than lust.

Speaker 4 (46:26):
I have to go with love.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Okay, what do you think Brita is the love or lust.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
One a the other? And you know what, gotta pick one.

Speaker 8 (46:41):
Yeah, I don't know. I'm in I'm in the middle.
Like it just depends on like like you said, we
don't know that relationship.

Speaker 4 (46:46):
Honestly, that ain't when it works on the like I know.

Speaker 7 (46:52):
But if he was looking at it on Remy's part, then,
like you say, I would say, since he's still over
there even though they claim they don't want to be
with each other, that's love or with it.

Speaker 9 (47:05):
But I'm saying, I'm saying, forget them, let's go buy
what you the question, you get.

Speaker 7 (47:11):
The story came from, and then it came from it's
stemming from Remy, Ma, Patpoos and Clarissa.

Speaker 9 (47:21):
I get that it's coming from You got that question
from that situation. But the question was if they if
the couples together and they doing it for the sake
of the kids, you know, forget about who you're really
talking about.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
Just it's general.

Speaker 4 (47:38):
It's just in general, all right.

Speaker 7 (47:40):
So if we were to take them out, the right
take them out. If we take them out, the equation.
Then yes, I would say that it was it was
love that he's staying in the house.

Speaker 8 (47:51):
It it just depends on the relationship that we're talking about.

Speaker 7 (47:55):
Then yeah, I was love and to the person that
he again it's won't leave or whoever won't leave. Yeah,
they could love that person too though, So I mean, yeah,
like I was, I would say it's love, you know,
like they don't want they claim that they don't want
them to do with the other person, you know, So
I mean I was, I would say it's love.

Speaker 9 (48:16):
Yeah, Okay, generally speaking, it's love their situation.

Speaker 8 (48:22):
But if there was no child, it's lost.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
If there oh yeah, we're no challenge.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Yeah, it's then I will agree it to be lost. Yeah,
it's Kelly good Dren Kelly good him expand on this real.

Speaker 32 (48:37):
Quick, washing Mary, I got you here now, yeah.

Speaker 11 (48:49):
Okay, Okay, let's say I'm in a relationship with Brittany,
but I live with my baby mama. Talking about I
want to be I want to say at the house,
you know, with my with my tarn. Okay, me and
Brittany are supposed to be getting married. Okay, now my
baby Mama's constiing. Okay, I need to break away from

(49:09):
that consciousness. You know this woman, We're not getting into
it just because we want to do something good for
the kid. That that don't mean that that it's healthy
in the house. That the house can be unhealthy because
we are both unhealthy parents around each other. So now
we're bringing a toxic environment around our kids. Now me
saying me using my baby mama as an excuse, I mean,

(49:31):
my kid is an excuse to live with my baby mama.
It's like, when am I going to leave? You know,
I've been I'm in this relationship with Brittany for five
years and I still haven't left talk about the child
even two years. It's like I need to get out
that toxic that sixty seconds. But yo, yo, yo, hey,

(49:52):
I'm going to say. I'm going to say that it is.
It's loved because I'm still in love with you know,
with with my comfortability, I love the child and I
still kind of love my baby mama. If I'm not
willing to break in all time, I'm not willing to
just coch here and I want to stay there. You
know what I'm saying, I'm not giving Britney what you want.

(50:13):
I'm not giving her this, this marriage and this home together.
I'm still living with my baby mama. So that's love
for my baby mama, love for my baby and really
loves for Britney because I really don't love her enough
to leave.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Right exactly. That that's that's kind of what we all
kind of saying there, man, we all kind of actually
kind of said the same thing tonight, right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 9 (50:34):
Even if you don't put that second subject in the picture,
just leave them in together, him and her and he
staying because of the baby. Well, I will go with
the love. I have to go with love because it's
not the baby could be excuse for him to still

(50:54):
be the girl he loved.

Speaker 7 (50:57):
Well, do you feel like, you know, sometimes a child
is young and they don't know what's going on, so
they just see the family unit and they see the
parents in the house.

Speaker 8 (51:06):
Regardless of what the relationship is.

Speaker 7 (51:08):
You know, like, could that be possible where it's really
