a blessing to note that I can bring it to

out to me, and I just want to make note
of that, and that is going to Paulabrion dot com

is moving me and doing all kinds of stuff so
that you could just keep up with everything is going on.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
With me as your host.
Speaker 6 (04:27):
And it gives me great pleasure, without a doubt, to
bring a wonderful, wonderful woman of God. She's my sister,
a motivator, she's a singer, songwriter, she is an author,
an actress, and just who just so much more. You know,
every time I bring a guest, they.
Speaker 5 (04:46):
Just got so much stuff that God is having them
to do.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
And this is the platform, their platform that God has
set before them so that they can let the listeners
know all the wonderful things that are happening in their
li life. The test that they went through to take
them to their rich testimonies, and they're just going to
offer all that wonderfulness.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
To you on tonight.
Speaker 6 (05:09):
So you just sit there and you get ready because
I tell you we're gonna be bringing this wonderful woman
of God that goes by the name of Angela, Monique Angela.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
You're on the line, Sis, I am on the line.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
I am live, and I'm happy to be here.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
How you doing.
Speaker 6 (05:28):
Oh, bless you, bless you, bless you, Thank you for
being here.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
This is such a blessing.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
You know, I saw all the things that you have
been doing. There's nothing you don't do.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
You're a songwriter, your author, your actors, you just do it.
It all says and you know. I have to ask
you the question because the listeners don't know you yet,
but after this interview they will praise God.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
I am going to.
Speaker 6 (05:55):
Ask you the question, how did it all begin for you?
How did this wonderful walk that you're now in happened
for you?
Speaker 5 (06:04):
How did it start?
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Well, the first thing I have to say is God
be the glory. I give them all the glory for
everything that you just name. I will say it started
in the womb it's so funny that your platform is
called a testimony, because when I saw it, I started
laughing and I said, God, you're funny, and it caused
me to really reflect. And when I say it started
in the womb, it's because many people, you know, a
(06:29):
few people don't know. I guess I was born prematurely, right,
and I was born with a hole in my heart.
So that's what caused me to come thoroughly umbilical cord
wrapped around.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
My hands, wrapped around my neck, so.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
I would I just did a post as I was
reflecting and giving God glory because I was like, okay, enemy,
you you really were trying to strangle me, have me
bound to have a hole in my heart. But when
you know, I came through. And the doctors had told
my parents, my mom and dad, when I was born early,
that she's probably not gonna make it. She has a
(07:04):
hole in the heart. We did open heart surgery, made
it through. The next thing that was spoken was she's
gonna be on medication for the rest of our life.
That surgery one of the staples open. I went into
cardiac arrest.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
They had to do another surgery. This is all while
I'm a baby.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
So got through that and I just you know, got
through it by the grace of God. And that started
my testimony.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
My mom named me Angela. That name means messenger.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I have no control over what God's plans are for
my life or what I can tell you.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
At an early age, I gravitated to music.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
And you know, I thank God that my parents, my grandparents,
they were rooted in the church, but more than anything,
that were rooted in God in their relationship, and they
continuously prayed for me and taught me in the way
of the Lord and surrounded me in an atmosphere where
even if I didn't fully understand at a young age.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
I grew up with knowing, Okay, there is a God.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Right. So after you go through so many things, right,
you grow up, you go through trials and tribulations.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
I got to a point where I said, Okay, God, I.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Know you're real, but I really want to know you.
And once that began to happen and God began to
really reveal himself to me, helped me to transform. As
I'm continually transforming all the gifts that He gave me.
I said, I got to do this for you because
I'm here for a reason. I wasn't supposed to be here,
but you saw fit for me.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
To be here.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
And so with my love of music, with my love
of songwriting, singing, and then you know, God would give
me visuals when I would write down the lyrics, right
when I would sing it, I would see pictures, and
those pictures was rooting in how can this message be
shown to people where they can understand it or they
could take something away from it. And so now it's
(09:01):
led me into film writing and to really you know,
just expand what God has given me.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
But that's where it started, in the womb.
Speaker 6 (09:12):
I tell you, well, one thing for sure, this is
classic because you went back.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
You know, some folks they go a little back, but
you went way back.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
Sis and I and I just thank God for for
for you even acknowledging that, because you know, again it's
the test that we go through in life that take us,
you know, on that on that journey you know, uh,
it in to get a new relationship or a stronger
relationship in him.
Speaker 7 (09:38):
And I just ble God, I know that wool gosh,
you went to the womb.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
I said, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, you know.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
But that's that's beautiful, that's beautiful and then like you said,
having strong uh strongly founded parents that really knew what
it was to pray and and really getting into their
prayer closet in regards to you, and look at you
strong as I don't know what you done, went through
a surgery, another surgery, and you you still stand in hello,
(10:10):
you know, and you laugh. You yes, we laugh at
the devil because he'd be thinking he wants and we
know better, we know better through all the time, all
the times you got Well, that's that's why the testimony
was so prominent to me, because I know that I've
been through so much and it's like, you know, for
me to just be going and keep going and keep going,
(10:32):
I know, it ain't nothing but the grace of God
that's keeping me.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
You know, as you as you say, as you said it,
you know, but.
Speaker 6 (10:40):
You do And you said, singer, what what inspires you
with the song?
Speaker 1 (10:46):
What?
Speaker 5 (10:46):
What is the things that the key things?
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Because everybody has a little nichell on when they yeah,
they want to song, to sing or whatever. What is
it that speaks to you to pick a song when
you're singing?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
So I start with just that side of me, the songwriter.
It's life it truly is the experiences that I go through,
the experiences sometimes that I witness with others around me,
and it touches me. One thing I can say when
I hurt, when I see people hurt me.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
I'm just gonna just put it out there.
Speaker 8 (11:22):
I really do.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
And one thing that you can probably relate to this
when you go through things, you really I know for
me it developed my heart for compassion because sometimes you know,
we don't always like to admit it. We can become
judgmental or especially people in the church if I can
just be one hundred percent, but when you actually go
(11:44):
through things, it's like, oh wow, God. And God has
used plenty of seasons where I've gone through things, and
then once I'm either coming out of it or I'm
out of it, I'm connected to somebody that's going through
the same thing.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
So my heart, heart posture becomes compassion.
Speaker 7 (12:02):
I got you said, and got your brother.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
We're gonna get through this. So when I have those experiences, God,
you just like write it in a song.
Speaker 7 (12:08):
People need to hear it.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
A lot of people are going through this, so I'm
you know, some of my song's even voice of Victory,
their proclamations of testimonials of my life of what I've seen,
as well as the gospel. You know, what does the Word.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Say We're regarding that situation, so.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
It kind of however the Holy Spirit leads me it
will be intertwiced in my music right, And I think
that's just something that God has sought it to use
me to do because I don't shy away from really.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Releasing the things that He's given me.
Speaker 6 (12:47):
M Yeah, it's definitely about God given you know, us visions,
you know, on the things that we will will sing
or like in your case, the songwriting goes hand in
hand with that to allow you to reach God's people,
and and that that that is so funny, because I
definitely understand that. Sometimes it's so funny. Says I could
(13:11):
be in the middle of getting ready to sing a song,
got one song in mind, and God will just flip
that thing and change them mid midway, and I don't
I didn't understand it.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
Like I had to go to some folks like what
is going on, you know, and my getting stuff. I
started questioning in my mind because you know, I'm a
seasoned thing.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
You know what I'm saying, I'm alone you know I'm
trying to I'm like, am I forgetting the words?
Speaker 5 (13:32):
But no, it really is genuine with God.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
Would just didn't have you to speak life into folks
that are there. And it don't matter what platform. You know,
some people, you know, they they do it and they're
preaching of course, you know, but with me, it just
goes like and it really started to mess with me,
says because I was like it on but I remember
it and what is it to tell me?
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Because I was, I listen and I'm just gonna be im.
Do not want to be cliche, but it's the Holy
Spirit when we're yielded because we.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Have a plan.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
So you're touching on something I was speaking on. You
know those times where I could be sitting sometimes I'm
in a shower with child, sometimes I'm in the in
the living hand and reality all come and words come,
but let's say use them even your example of what
you are sharing. When I'm worshiping, because I serve as
a worship leader as well. Yes, we'll have songs picked
(14:24):
out right. I may be invited somewhere to lead worship
and in that moment God will say, sing this yo,
what I learned to do God he knows who he
sent there, he knows what message he wants, and.
Speaker 5 (14:40):
I think he does that.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
He's so funny. I think God does that to keep
us in a posture of really relying on him. I
think if we come before, you know, to worship and
to lead worship, or us sharing his presence, if we
come so packaged, Okay, we got this, we're gonna look
to ourselves. We're gonna thinking about all us right when
(15:03):
it look it like that, like uh uh, even if
you know it's not about your nerves, it's not about
oh my d I remember, it's just like, Okay, I'm
gonna obey.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
It's you guy. And that's what keeps us humble.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
That's what keeps and keeps it offensive.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
Yes, but I'm being since I never understood. I never
knew what that thing was and somebody said it was uh.
Speaker 7 (15:25):
I forgot.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
There's a terminology bow bow and bowl and something uh
where God just has his way of just taking what
you're you're singing about and just does it his way.
And I and I was prophesied that and I just
but I just did not get it until it ain't
no getting the handle of it. You see what I'm
saying I was trying to get a handle of something
(15:47):
that you had no control of it, and you need
to take your hand off of it, see what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
So I'm just like wow. But you know I underybody.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
I always say this, right, you know, so you know
I can go deep, So you know you can. You
may have to pull me back sometimes, but you triggered something.
Even with that, I'm learning this and I say this
to a lot of people. You know, when it comes
to ministry in all many ways, whether you're up on
a pull ted teaching, preaching, whether you're singing, whatever it
(16:19):
is right, sometimes I know people will try to emulate,
like I have to do it this way. This is
what's the sec But I encourage people, whether you're singing, teaching,
and preaching, you have to be who God created you
to be.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
However he told you.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Why that is so important because in the Body of Christ,
we are all different, but we're all one. We're all
different parts right, hands, feet, whatever, fingers, right, we all
play a role. And for the people that may not
know Him, the people that God is trying to reach
right at that moment when we're giving a platform, it's
(16:57):
so important that we come as a authentic self because
the person you're trying to emulate that may not be
the person God called that can reach whoever you sent
at that time, right, And that's why, And if you're
following me, I feel like it's so important whether we
know why we do these things.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Is it about us? Or is it about God? And
is it about his people? Is it about winning souls?
Speaker 1 (17:22):
When you really ask that question and you can answer
it when it's not.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
About you, right, it's above.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
You, is beyond you, is greater than you, then you
can relax and embrace.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Who God created you to be and go out.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
There are some people that you show up in a suit,
and that person on that street or that person walking
in the church, for whatever reason, they may just not
receive what you're saying, just simply because you're there in suit.
The person that come in with the genes, right, even
if it's unacceptable for some people. The person that's speaking
(17:59):
of truth, but they come packaged in a certain way
or they deliver it in a certain way. That person,
it's something about I'm drawn to you, I can relate
to you, and it's not about trying to be relatable.
It's just being you. So we have to understand that
part too, because it's it's a it's a component we're spiritual,
(18:20):
but that's also a natural and it goes hand in hand,
right yeah, yeah, yep right.
Speaker 6 (18:27):
And it's so it's so funny because like I said
that that that thing right there you just said is
real because you know.
Speaker 5 (18:34):
We oftentimes make ourselves out to be one way.
Speaker 6 (18:38):
But when God is doing a new thing, it's something
about that world that that strikes different. When you're sitting
up there trying to deliver a song and he just
has his way and you're doing something you ain't even
unwealth about, you not even knowing that this really happens,
and people are you knowing it?
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (18:57):
But you know, and coming from the secular because I'm
originally from this secular you know, singing secular songs and
stuff like that, you know, so I was always conscious
about always knowing the words and being on a point
and making sure this and the notes, and you know,
because I'm a vocal couse.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
So it's like all of that perfection just goes out
the window. Now this is like the new elevation.
Speaker 7 (19:15):
That God has taken me on.
Speaker 6 (19:17):
And it's like every and then I'll sip back and
I listen to it.
Speaker 7 (19:19):
If it's recorded, it's like a total different song.
Speaker 5 (19:22):
And it's beautiful. It's beautiful.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
But you know, you done got up there and said
I'm a singer.
Speaker 5 (19:27):
I love the Lord and then God and.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
You know and and and the you know, because we
still have that man, that that that that cardinal man.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
You know that we you know, our flesh is still
kind of weak.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
And I feel like, you know, I get on this motor.
Oh my gosh, did I fail his people? You know
what I'm saying, Dude, what did I just do?
Speaker 6 (19:49):
This is before I knew that there was such a
thing as this balls and something bowls, bowls something. I
don't remember the actual name, but I know that I
literally looked it up and it was like, it's when
God's and his annoyance will just have you to do
a new thing vocally.
Speaker 5 (20:06):
And I, you know, I was like, wow, so.
Speaker 6 (20:09):
This must be like what happens with pastors, you know,
and people like that. But this is just in soul
per se, and I've never heard this cis this was something.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Because it's all it's all ministry, it's all ministering. Yes,
when you go out again, You're allowing yourself to be
used by God. It's nothing wrong with having a plan
because we want to be prepared. But God when he knows, okay,
you study, you're prepared. Now this is what I'm trying
to do, and your heart.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Is open to it.
Speaker 1 (20:37):
He Listen, people be hitting notes that they.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Didn't even hit before.
Speaker 6 (20:45):
Absolutely absolutely, I've seen people playing music and come up,
pick up a piano and start playing it and never
playing you.
Speaker 7 (20:54):
Know, So it's I mean, I know, it's real. It
just was a news.
Speaker 6 (20:58):
I had never vocally heard that before, you know, and
that kind.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Of got me tricked up that that was something else.
I have to look that up.
Speaker 5 (21:07):
The bones, yeah, I mean bones enough.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (21:10):
I don't want to say it inappropriately, you know, because
the devil will try and use stuff. But it's it's
bones and something it's and if anybody know what it is,
hit my page let me know, you know what the
actual naming of it, because I was told it, you know,
and I looked it up and then you know, again,
as we do, you know, things go, you know, Like
I said, I blame it to my age and all
the time and ask God to deliver me from from
(21:33):
forget this job.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
But yeah, this is it.
Speaker 5 (21:36):
It's a real thing, you know.
Speaker 6 (21:37):
But I just thank God that he uses us. Praise
God he uses us, and I know he uses you mighty.
What to tell the listeners, like the new things or
things that you've done that you'd like to introduce them
and let them know about.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Yes, and thank you again just for this platform.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
So going back to.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Sharing how God has kind of evolved the ministry because
it's all ministry for me. I have moved into film
writing and you know how we do the typical video
to go with the song the music video.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Well, God had other plans.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Like we said, and you know, he put it to
linking me with the right people at the right time
as I wrote down this vision and so you know,
let me just table it back. I have a song
out called you When that's my latest song, you Win,
and you know, touching on where it's not what I
(22:35):
traditionally do as far as the sound what I mean
by that. So God ended up connecting me with the
producer that does pretty much all genres right, and I
just happened to find this instrumental. This is one of
the first songs where I've just used the instrumental.
Speaker 7 (22:53):
I'll usually do it the other way around.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
I'll write the song the melody, and then the musicians
right will come up with the music with it.
Speaker 5 (23:00):
It struck my.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
Heart as I'm listening.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
And at that time when I was listening to this instrumental,
my father was going through cancer treatments.
Speaker 7 (23:09):
Okay, it's my late.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Father, and I just remember just me being, you know,
a woman that really relies on God and ask him
to strengthen my faith. During that time, I remember watching
my father, who I look at as the strongest man
that I know, dealing with something that at that time
he really had no control over. You know, cancer is horrible,
(23:33):
and so I'm watching this and I just went to
the Lord in my pain and my hurt and my frustration.
Speaker 8 (23:40):
Right.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
So during that time, I come across this instrumental and
I began to write lyrics to it, and the opening
lyric was a silent fear is hard to see, right.
I didn't start off with the scripture for this particular song.
It was just being in that place where it feels
a little dark, it feels heavy, right, and it just
felt like the instrumentation was it just moved with it.
(24:05):
It was movement. So I began to write these thoughts out.
Speaker 2 (24:09):
But how God always worked.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
He reminded me that no matter what we go through,
even the things that we feel we cannot control, but
let God take us from faith to faith. Right, I said,
I'm gonna even in the pain, even in the things
we don't understand, when we're thinking we have control over
things we really don't.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
And it goes beyond any sickness just a life period.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
We want to control everything. We want to know it
from beginning to end. God began to minister to me
and said, you know you're gonna take these emotions you're feeling.
You're gonna take what you've been.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
Sharing with me in private.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
You know this is God talking to me, and I
want you to make this message that no matter it's
okay to go through the dark times. It's okay to
say I'm in pain, It's okay to say I'm struggling
in my faith. It's okay to even say we've been
messing up. Right, going back and forth, back and forth
with God and sometimes being a angry with God and
walking away, that's real. But at the end of the day,
(25:04):
when we decide to surrender. We went and that was
the epitome of that song. So, as I'm looking at
my personal situation how that came from the place I
was in watching my father battling his cancer, he gave
me a whole lot of visuals. Okay, you have people
(25:24):
from all walks of life, and they may not be
dealing with some you know, disease or family member that's
you know ill, but they may be dealing with just
processing life, how to how to maneuver in life. They're
making bad choices, they're trying to do it on their
own without God right, And so he transformed those visuals
(25:46):
and gave me characters. And one thing that was important
to me was it's not always the drug dealers that
you want to have in a short film that's you know, overcoming,
But what.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
About our clergy?
Speaker 1 (25:57):
What about our paths? We forget about them. You need
prayer too. Write the pastors and worshipers we go through
things too. We're no different. And so as I began
to write out the script for that going with the
song that I then you know, finally released, and he's like,
all right, now you need to put a visual I
came up with the pastor, and I came up with
(26:18):
a storyline for him. I came up with a storyline
for a woman that went through a miscarriage, you know, lost,
And I don't want to give everything away, but these
are real things that happen to people. And it's like, okay,
it's celebrating life, and then it's look, you know that's heavy,
and I know a lot of women that's experienced that.
And then you know someone with our youth, maybe you
(26:41):
know they've gone off track there into games. So these
are different generations of people, different walks of life coming together.
But the thing about it, God gives things to me
where it's not about me. I tell the story, but
the way it's supposed to really move people should take
away something different, some nugget away from it that's directly
(27:06):
impacting their spirit, directly impacting them in a way where
they could sit there and tell me like, oh wow,
this film speaks to me in this way, and like
five people will say five different things, but at the
end of the day, it's all a part of the
message that God is trying to send. So and I
found that out when I recently did the film premiere,
(27:26):
as different ages were sharing After they watched the short film,
everybody came up with something different. But it was important
for me to also show in that film more than
just you win with God right when he's there, we're
more than conquerors. That message right but right here on earth,
God moves through people. Sometimes it's through the relationships and
(27:49):
also through the connections where we find God and we
watch the short film, you're gonna pull that too, to
inspire that even in your pain, even in your struggles,
when you follow say okay, God, I need you to
come in and lead this even when it's ugly and dark,
you know, you find that there is purpose that can be.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Birthed out of those moments.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
And lastly, it was important for me to not close
the ending of these storylines with a neat, nice boat
you know, where you watch a movie and everything just
comes together at the end and it's a happy ending.
I need it to leave it open. You gain something
from their story, but leave it open where it's like, Okay,
(28:32):
I'm ready for part two. What's the rest of this journey?
Because that's the reality of what life is. It's not
always all.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
Right sealed up.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
Okay, she lost the baby, she got another baby. That's
not always what happens, right, It's a journey through that
that God uses. But we have to know that even
in the journey, all things is still going to work
out for our goods.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
That's just what it is.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
So that's my project. Now, the song you Win and
the short sam you Win that's available on YouTube and
it's available it's on multiple platforms that you can go
directly to my YouTube and stream it from there.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
Wow, God is good, I tell you.
Speaker 6 (29:16):
Yeah, that I'm you know, and that oftentimes, like you said,
we look for that wonderful bold up ending and that's
not always the you know, we losing folk. We do it,
you know, like you said, women are not bearing fruit,
you know, as far as babies and stuff. But you know,
praise God for God, right, praise God the fact that
(29:39):
we can raise up a standard and even though we
may not be able to bear a child, but Gosh,
all the people of the world that we could help,
you know what I'm saying from you know, the tutoring
your neighbors children and just being a part just watching
out for your neighbors children, you know, which is what
I was brought up on, you know, And a lot
of that, you know, I'm praying that that will come
(30:01):
back to be what it should be. Well, we're looking
out for each other and we're being you know, our
sister and our brothers, sharpening them you know, their eye
sharpened the eye right, and and just being that for them,
you know, And that's that's what we need to be built.
Speaker 7 (30:18):
This, this is what this whole ministry.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
Thing is all about.
Speaker 6 (30:22):
It's about giving back, you know, to the community, so
that they could be spiritually fed and they can be
met where.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
They need it.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
You see what I'm saying. It's not about me or
you saying, oh you need this right hello, you just
said that. You know, it's about what saith the Lord
and what God would have for you to change. Like folk,
oh you know this person shouldn't be smoking, and like
you said before about somebody coming into the church and
they not dressed appropriately. Who you know, woe to you
(30:51):
who come against those those wonderful people, because you know
that that's a problem right there, and God ain't happy
with that kind of behavior, you know what I'm saying.
And people don't understand. I know, these rules and protocols
to certain things, but when it comes down to God
and what he has for folks that ain't a protocol,
That ain't a pro that that ain't no protocol.
Speaker 7 (31:13):
Now you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (31:14):
So you got to watch that thing because he is.
When Jesus walked, he walked with the worst of the worst, right,
ye know, he was able to flip them and change them,
to make them who they.
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Needed to be.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Listen, who they needed to be for the people.
Speaker 6 (31:30):
You see what I'm saying, It wasn't and people's like,
oh but they they was.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
He was walking with these criminals and they wasn't change.
Now you know, he he you exact.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Let me tell you something you I.
Speaker 6 (31:41):
Have sung in prisons and tell me people's lives have changed.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
Great.
Speaker 5 (31:46):
You know what I'm saying. I ain't had to be
no prisoner for me to make a difference. Hello, you
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
I ain't have to be.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
But God placed me in there for a rest.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yes he did.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
And that's good.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
You said something too. You know, we are not the
ones that say I love what you just said too.
We have to remember that, you know, I got he
He waters the seeds, He does the rest. Sometimes we're
just sent out to plant the seeds. You know. May
God get the glory in every.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
Seed we plant s.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
It's like whether we're singing, teaching, doing films, we're planning
the cities and let God water, let him do it.
I think when people again, when they get so caught
up in their self talking about protocols and oh this
person you're playing God, Oh yeah, just be love, just being,
and conviction comes when it's you that love is perfect.
(32:40):
Conviction comes. You may not see it, but God knows.
He's watering, just planning to see all the commandments of
the field when we do that one love with ye
missing that. That's the part we set all the time.
But I pray that we get better in it as
more of the Body of Christ become what God has
(33:03):
called us to be. And we and we don't try
to conform, but be what God has called us to be,
walk in love and just plant be seeds and do
so just apologetically.
Speaker 6 (33:13):
And you said, you said, it's not about what it
looked like in one you know, And and this is
what we really we need to get in alignment with
to understand that there's no proper way to do it,
but to do it the way God is doing it
and allow him to do what he needs to do
in that person, for that person.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
And like I said, it's not gonna change overnight. It's
not gonna change.
Speaker 6 (33:39):
Like you said, you water, you put them seeds down,
That don't mean you're gonna actually see the plant.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
You know. We may not be called. Yeah, we may
not be called to see it. God said, do what
I tell you to do, and keep keep a moving,
keep on doing it.
Speaker 5 (33:54):
It's not for us unless God has called you.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
Like, okay, stay by that person's side, check on them. Right,
you have released something. And if God has not given
you any other instructions, trust and faith and no speak
life over that person and you know, keep it moving.
Speaker 5 (34:11):
It reminds me of you know.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
Because you're a singer as well, right, it reminds me,
you know, doing worship right, And I made careful kind
of what I say, so I don't want to know
you're doing worship, you know. But it's kind of like
a running joke right where it's like, okay, when they
when the worship is yelling at the conjugation, come on,
stand on your feet, get up plas for the Lord.
(34:33):
You need to run around, you know, all that kind
of stuff.
Speaker 5 (34:35):
Some people do.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
The thing is that they miss.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
We don't know what's going.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
On in a person heart.
Speaker 1 (34:43):
And I'll say this, there's times where I've had an
opportunity where let's say, after worship, right and I have
an opportunity to fellowship with just people after and maybe
a person that was just sitting own face right, just
sitting stone face. They come up and they just begin
(35:04):
to pour out, releasing and sharing about oh my God,
you know, just the presence of the Lord, and this
is what I'm experiencing.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
Right now and praying.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
But what our real It's us when we package it
and we think that, oh my gosh, you got to
be excited for the Lord running around the place. Sometimes
people are processing, Sometimes people are sitting when we have
truly brought in the presence through the worship right when
we chose. Sometimes people will just be in awe of
(35:34):
the presence of the Lord. We're not there to entertain.
Speaker 6 (35:38):
They're there and.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
They're so caught up in the presence of the Lord
and they're hearing, they're hearing the Spirit of God speaking
to them. So sometimes they're not running around. Sometimes they're
just like, oh my, this is a new thing. I
hear the voice of the Lord. I'm just in this presence,
So it's not for us to even judge reactions. It's
not for us to judge what people are doing or
(35:59):
what they not doing. Again, going back to what I said,
just plant to see. If you're a worshiper, you you worship,
let the spirit do the rest. They yell people, you know,
because then the other piece to that, people then begin
(36:21):
to question that I'm saying that they're new, right, that
this is something new they're they're new in learning about God.
They're new into even a really setting, entering in a church.
Sometimes they first.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
Time even coming to a church for example.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
They're thinking it's something wrong with them. Well, I didn't
I didn't catch the Holy Ghost by shouting, or I
didn't run around. It's something wrong with me. Everybody else is.
And that's the danger we do when we try to
make a package or say this is what it looks
like and that has happened.
Speaker 6 (36:49):
You know many times, many times I gotta say that,
and we're calling it out. You know, sometimes you can
easily run off of folk instead of you know, handling
things in a loving way. And like I said, as
far as yelling and being loud. I'm very boisterous. I'm
very voistous.
Speaker 7 (37:07):
But god, I was told by somebody, I never forget this,
said you too.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
Loud to be You could never I could never allow.
Speaker 7 (37:13):
You to be a minister because you'd run people off.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
And I can be.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
That's not loud, I'm saying. When you know the people
that they're like, you need to get on your feet.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
God, you know that's not right.
Speaker 6 (37:25):
But nobody letting me authentic, No, but no, But honestly,
you you hitting it because even the ushers they ain't
if they ain't a good you know, usher with the
smile on their face. Folk, you know it'll turn people off,
you know. So I think it's positions. I think it's uh,
you know the is it reachable? You know what I'm saying,
isn't reachable because even though you might have a have
(37:46):
a south face usher at the door, usually if you
walk through that door, you'll meet something that will that
will that will ravage to the person. You understand I'm saying,
because like I said, I was told.
Speaker 7 (37:58):
I could never be a minister.
Speaker 6 (38:00):
I could never be administer because I'm just a loud
you know what I'm saying, And.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
I run people off.
Speaker 6 (38:04):
Yeah, the devil is a liar because for a time
such as this.
Speaker 5 (38:07):
They need somebody like me that's going to be in
that face for you know that you need that. That's right.
Speaker 6 (38:14):
I believe that I'm being used. You know what I'm
saying because I'm bowling, I'm in your face and and
you know we've had times of that, you know, sweet time,
candy coat and stuff that goes on sometimes, you know,
but everybody's not the same.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
It's not to say that they're wrong. But how dare
you say that I'm wrong?
Speaker 6 (38:34):
Right?
Speaker 5 (38:34):
I mean, you know, but just but just to be clear, I'm.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Just saying, just to be very clear to my point,
it's not you know about loud, because I definitely advocate
everybody has to be authentic to who God has called
them to be. I'm saying, when you're leading and when
we're expecting people, you're not running around. I need you
to run around when we're trying to do to look
(38:59):
like I just want to be clear because it has
nothing to do with people toning it down or not.
When I say, don't yell at the people I'm talking
about trying to force them to do something that could
not even be right, they're doing it because you said it.
Speaker 5 (39:12):
But what we say really and you know and you
know the route to that.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
It could be the root could possibly be pride because
you want a response from the audience because this is
what you need. So we gotta again stay back to
what God is doing and what He is trying to
do in that moment. We cannot judge or try to
dictate how people move you, you know, and like you said,
it goes deep. It goes to somebody telling you you
(39:38):
too loud?
Speaker 6 (39:39):
Well, who said that? Who's told that's sick?
Speaker 1 (39:43):
No, let's be authentic.
Speaker 6 (39:45):
Yeah, yep, you gotta be yourself according to God. It
has nothing to do with man. Listeners, you've heard it
right here. You know, it's not about the next one. Listen,
It's not about you know what say this person or
that person is what says the Lord, and that's what
we are taking out of this lesson on tonight. This
is what this whole focus is about.
Speaker 1 (40:07):
Now.
Speaker 5 (40:08):
I thank God for you.
Speaker 6 (40:09):
For bringing this to the attention and listeners because some
of them have experienced this and never went back to church.
You know, you've lost souls, you know in the church
realm of where they might have should have been, but
they had the search because it was just such an
uncomfortable setting being where they were, and that that has
(40:31):
to change. God wants us to welcome them in. God
wants them to come into the house, into the church house,
you know, uh, and and do what what He needs
done for them, you know, not that they should.
Speaker 7 (40:45):
Have to go months and months or years just.
Speaker 6 (40:47):
To find what they should have found in your church.
And this is speaking to pastors that just they just
don't understand, you know, the ushers when you when we
walk into your door, we need to see something that's
gonna invite us. I ain't saying you got to be
a smile. Sometimes it's just suggestion, you know what I'm saying.
Ain't nobody's saying you gotta even say nothing. Sometimes it's
(41:09):
just like you said, that's smile on the face or
just a pat on your back or you know whatever, whatever.
Speaker 5 (41:15):
But you should be reachable. You should be reachable. Praise God.
Speaker 7 (41:19):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (41:20):
You've said, You've said it. You know, I listen as
you have truly been blessed, and I have to ask
you this before we go. If you were to to
you know, counsel someone or someone who does not know
the Lord for themselves, how what would that look like?
Speaker 7 (41:38):
What would your word or wisdom be to them?
Speaker 1 (41:41):
As listeners that are that are listening well? For one,
I guess I'm switching over into that counseling and teaching
for a moment. I don't think there's a one size
sit all, and I mean that sincerely. The first key
to counsel anybody as believeless is to listen and to
be present. We don't have all the answers. We're all
(42:02):
on this journey together, and that will probably be something
that I tell that person to let them know there's
no hierarchy.
Speaker 2 (42:08):
I'm not bigger than you.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
I'm not above you, you're not under me.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
But I'm here.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
Standing with you, sister, and we're standing together and we're
learning together. But the things that God has shown me,
you find some benefit in it. God is leading me
to share something with you, and I'll tell you, God
is leading me to share this with you. I'm gonna
share it with you, no judgment for God again, planning
to seed and for God to water it and asking
(42:34):
for Him to give you revelation. But my job as
a counselor or minister is to stand with the unbeliever
of those that you know are seeking God and don't know,
let them know I'm right here with you. You have questions,
we can study together, we can go before the Father together.
Sometimes it's like, well, how do I pray? Well, I'm
(42:54):
gonna always pray before I open my mouth to say
any word, because I don't want to release anything that
God hasn't told me to say, because it can definitely
cause more harm. When God is not telling you to speak,
it's okay to be silent, and it's okay to tell
that person you know what, I'm gonna pray with you.
Let's go before Him right now. And because you're seeking
(43:15):
him and we're praying in Jesus' names, guess what, He
hears your prayer too. Sometimes people just need to know
that because they're coming from places where they've been hurt,
they've been broken. Sometimes they don't feel like God hears them.
Speaker 2 (43:28):
But when you.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
Stand as a sister and as a brother and let
them know that you're with them, then that begins to
take off any hardness.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Of the heart. You know, in the name of Jesus,
any hardness of the heart, it.
Speaker 1 (43:40):
Begins to fall, and you start off in asking God
to have his way in this relationship and this connection,
have his way, invite them to studying the word, asking
God where do you want us to start, and just
stand with them in that. That's the basic that I
can say. But everybody's situation is different. There's times, like
(44:02):
I shared before, I've gone through situations and then God
has connected me to someone and I didn't push.
Speaker 2 (44:09):
I'm just being a friend. I'm just being present, and.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
Then they feel comfortable and I find out they're going
through the very thing I.
Speaker 2 (44:16):
Just finished going through.
Speaker 1 (44:18):
So now I'm like, okay, God, now I can't minister
because they probably looked at me. I didn't know you
you went through that too, Yes, and that opens the door.
So being present and listening, listen to the heart without judgment,
and let God guide you with the words.
Speaker 7 (44:35):
That's it and he will and he will. Yes, sir, Well,
you know what, we could talk for hours.
Speaker 5 (44:42):
I love this. You gotta come back.
Speaker 6 (44:44):
This is definitely an open door policy for you and
welcoming you to come on back, because there definitely wasn't
enough time here. Oh God having you to speak to
some some other stuff that I know you're doing. And
again you're welcome to come on back on, but you know,
in this time we always offer the opportunity for the
(45:05):
guests too. I opened in prayer and I would ask
that you would close your prayer, but before you actually start,
I would like for you to just give the information
again on to how people can reach out to your
email anything that you feel accessible.
Speaker 1 (45:19):
Sure, so you can go to my YouTube it's official
Angela Monique, okay, and you can also connect with me
on Instagram's everything is kind of linked together, and that's
Angela Underscore f Lewis and that's.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
My handle on Instagram.
Speaker 1 (45:37):
Really quickly, I wanted to just quickly give a shout
out to the director of you Win, which was Bronx EMC.
He definitely partnered with me in the vision. So even
if you go to that official Angela Monique and you
want to stream the U win, I got to give
him a shout out because I wrote the vision and
he took it and he put it on a film
and did an incredible job. Okay, but yes, feel free
(45:59):
to come with me.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
And before we even go to your prayer, I just
want to say thank you Tony Lee my brother.
Speaker 5 (46:12):
Yes, thank you prowing us together. That's my brother.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
Oh, he wrote, my friend all Yes, and he's in
the film. He plays a grand pastor.
Speaker 6 (46:23):
The pastor I told. I had him laugh and I said,
you're always a pastor and put in some films somewhere,
you always calling on your life.
Speaker 2 (46:33):
My goodness look him.
Speaker 6 (46:35):
Yes, wonderful man of God, truly my brother. And I
just again thank you angelus just for being a part
of this experience.
Speaker 5 (46:44):
And I'm just going to let you take us to
the throne God.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
Thank you, Thank you, sister Father God.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
We just thank you. Lord.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
We come in agreement for you being glorified. Won this
call one, this podcast, God, one this platform.
Speaker 5 (46:58):
Lord.
Speaker 1 (46:59):
First, I just want to thank you again for blessing
Paula bringond, Lord, filling her with so many gifts, Lord God,
to expand your message, Lord, to expand your vision Lord,
that you've given her and that you've given others. God continued, Lord,
to increase her, Lord God, continue to.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
Lead her and guide her.
Speaker 1 (47:16):
Lord God, and everything that you have for her.
Speaker 5 (47:19):
Eyes have not seen, ears have.
Speaker 1 (47:21):
Not heard, Lord God, what you have want to do,
Lord God, in her life and in the lives of
all the listeners is under the sound of my voice
and those that will come on later. God, we're just
praying for your anointing. We know that you're here, We
know that your presence is here.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
Father.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
But as we said before, Lord, I'm asking that the
seeds are being plenty, and in Jesus' name, every listener,
Lord God, will receive a revelation, will receive an unction
from your spirit Father died, and be directed in the
way that they should go. Father, we give you the glory,
We give you the honor, Father God, for just being God.
(47:57):
You are if you don't do anything else for you
us God, we thank you for being God sitting high
on the throne. Lord, and we give you your due respect.
We bless your name and we worship you.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
I just want to cover anyone, Lord God, that is
going through heartbreak, Father, that is going through trials and
tribulations right now. In your word, Father, you said to
cast your cares upon you, for you care for us. Lord,
give them the strength and the faith to know that
they can leave every heaven burden at your feet, Father,
for your note is light and easy, Lord, and you
(48:29):
will warm and enough to carry it for them. Father,
So we speak healing over this line, we speak deliverance
over this line.
Speaker 6 (48:36):

Speaker 1 (48:37):

Lord God, as you bring them and lead them to victory.
