"It's Not Just Life Insurance—It's Life Strategy"

Episode Overview:
In this powerful and insightful episode of Da Testimony with Paula Brion, host Paula Brion welcomes Anthony King, a dynamic speaker, minister, and self-proclaimed Legacy Architect, to share his transformational testimony and life mission. Anthony breaks down the myths and misunderstandings around life insurance and reframes it as a tool for building generational wealth, not just for covering funeral costs.More than a conversation about policies and premiums, this is a deep, faith-filled dialogue about purposeful financial planning, legacy creation, and responsible stewardship. With clarity, passion, and transparency, Anthony shares the why, how, and what of wealth preservation in communities of faith—making a compelling case for breaking generational curses and building financial futures with intention.

Key Takeaways:

that's gonna inspire the people that are listening to the
many guests that we have brought on this platform and

(03:12):
hopes that we would bring them to a closer walk
with the Lord through bridging the gaps between community and
the church, bringing them under one accord for one reason
and one reason only, and that is to elevate God
and big up the Kingdom of God and do all
the things that we need to do as saints of God.

(03:34):
But today again is gonna be no different. We have
a wonderful guest on today. He is a wonderful, wonderful
legacy architect is what he calls himself. He is insurance strategist.
I can't even say the word strategist, like he's awesome.

(03:54):
Wealth preservation, preservation of the wealth. You know, things you
have to We're gonna embark on things that you need
to do as an insurance and he's an insurance agent,
and he's bringing you what you need to big up
and build up your platform for your family. Your family
heritage is important to this man, and it is it's

(04:18):
such an honor to bring him to you. He is
a man of God. He is a minister, he is
a father, he is a son, he is like the
list just goes on. He's a husband, he is just
I'm telling you, he is all that and so much more.
So I really can't wait till he comes on the line.

(04:39):
Is Anthony King on the line? Well, if he is,
you know, we just gonna wait and we're gonna wait
for him to come home down and get on the line.
But at this point, you know, I just wanna just
reach out to the listeners to just, you know, say
that we've been going through a lot these last couple

(05:02):
of days. These he's just been really rough, people getting sick,
things happening in their life, and you know, we just
like I said, that's why we open in prayer when
we start this show because it's so important. It's very,
very important that we lean on understanding of what it

(05:22):
takes to be in that walk to believe and trust
God and lean on Him for all your needs. And
you know, and and and my show prayerfully is allowing
you to understand that thing where you need to get
a closer relationship with God. And most folks, like we know,
don't they don't know how to do that. But I

(05:45):
am telling you that it is really important that we
are like just tuned in and try to get you know,
even closer and closer to God. For a time such
is this, we need him. We need him him everybody
you know, on today. We need Him every day, not
just today, you know. So I definitely, definitely, you know,

(06:09):
want to raise the standard again. It's our test that
we go through and it's a trying time at this time,
but just note that there is a rich testimony that
is gonna come out of this whole thing. Let me
see if my boy on the line isn't on the
line yet, Anthony, you there, Okay, he ain't there yet.

(06:34):
I'm just gonna you know, ask my tech man, is
there anything in the archives that we could play while
we're waiting for Aunt to come on the line.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Hello.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
Hello, this is doctor June, the host of the Fearfully
and Wonderfully Made Show with Doctor June. I'm the founder
of New Leaf Now, a Bible based holistic practice based
in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a board certified much as
if It's and after nearly a decade in medicine, I
began to feel like I wasn't getting to the root cause, hey, Paula.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
He was just on and he just uh disconnected for
some reason.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Okay, well, you know we've been going through this with
before services and all kind of stuff, this tech stuff.
You know. That's why I leave you in control of
that tech stuff, bro, because I ain't a tech person,
you know, but everybody knows is what you know, what
it will be. We're still gonna have our way with
the show. We're still gonna believe and trust that he

(07:41):
will come on the line. Jerry, let me, Oh he
did that? Okay, thank you? All right? Yes, Anthony, j Yes,
now you doing? How you doing well? You know, we
always start to show up just talking about you and
saying all the wonderful things about you. And you know,

(08:04):
I told him you're a wonderful father, your wonderful son.
You know, you you're just a man of God. You're
a minister in the highest level. You know, when you
go to your church, you you wake it up the folk.
You know what I'm saying. Oh, it's just so many
things listening, so many things I can brag about you.
But I got to ask you a questions, you know,

(08:25):
because you you you're that kind of man. You are
doing so many things. But this is near and dear
to you. You know, how did it begin for you?
How did it start? How did this this this testimony,
this rich testimony that you have and what you're doing
on today? How did it come about?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
For me? Which, first of all, I want to say
thank you for welcoming I'm on your radio show, Fish.
I appreciate it. But for me, really when it started
as is, you know, as a father, uh, you look
at your children and you realize that you you don't
want them to experience the same thing as you experience.
So that means what are you going to do in
your life to make sure your kids have a better experience.

(09:05):
It's not to make them weak, but it's to give
them an advantage. There's a lot of other people that
have advantages because they've been set up for generations to
have that advantage. What about mine? What about chillers? Right?
So I started doing research. I started trying to figure
out what was the best way that us, people of
color can gain wealth, people of God can gain wealth.

(09:25):
And I stumbled upon life insurance. I also experienced death
in my family where a person wasn't covered and what
that does, and you know, start seeing go fundmes and
you know, that experience right there taught me there's something
that has to be done different. Right. Became a father
when I was a young man, and I had to
you know what they say, either make it happen or quit,

(09:49):
And I'm not a quitter. So I made it happen
and I'm still bigging it happen. I'm trying to help
this make it happen for other people as well.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
So and that means everything, you know, it starts with you, right,
That's that's what we all know. You know, once you
take that one step, then of course God will help
you to take all the other steps that you need
with that. But you you say when you describe what
you do, you're not just any insurance man, you know

(10:16):
what I'm saying, Like you you terminologies. You know what
I'm saying because I got to bring it there because
I love the terminology and the way that you express yourself.
You know, you say that you're a anointed legacy architect.
Like that's deep. So like, how did you come up?
Like seriously, I kind of and I know most people

(10:37):
probably understand what it sort of sounds like, but I
need to know where you went with for that title.
That title right there is dope.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
For me, what it was was okay, so you know,
everybody knows what architects do, right, they build all right,
But for me, what it was was, you know, legacy.
When you think about it, it's the goal is to
set up your generations, right, not the kids that you
know that getting your nerves, talk about their kids and
their kids' kids, right, that's the goal to set those
people up. So for me, what I realized is, you know,

(11:11):
most of the time, people of color, we don't really
get to experience that same blessing of someone thinking about
us because of whatever the circumstances. And it's not a
purposeful thing. So for me, what was was figuring out
how could it be affordable for the average person yet effective. Right, So,
as long as you can to the game plan, it's
affordable and effective. Which a lot of times, you know,

(11:34):
people are like, oh, how long do I have to
do this? Well, here's the thing. How long have you
paid a life bill? Don't you pay a life bill
forever since since you was young? Don't you pay cell
phone bills forever? Car notes typically? Right? So put this
on your on your trade that you're gonna always consume
and always use to put yourself in a better position.
The whole setup of this is is to have a

(11:56):
twenty year game.

Speaker 9 (11:56):
Plan that's going to put your family in a position
where you could has money down, open up businesses, uh
from colleges, by properties, a bunch of different things you
can do with this.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
And it's CAx free money as well. Within this policy
that you're using. That's almost like playing your own bank,
as they would say, So, I mean think about that
for a second. Wouldn't you rather play the bank than
the bank playing you? Yeah, well.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
You know it is real, that's real talk. Now they've
been us for a minute.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Yes, no, but that's.

Speaker 5 (12:33):
You know that, But it does make all the sense though,
you know what I'm saying as the way you're saying it.
But you know I'm one that you know I ain't
straight at all, you know what I'm saying. So looking
at people like myself, you know, trying to play catch up,
you know where other people notice things like your for
your age, and you know this already. This is a blessing,

(12:53):
you know what I'm saying. So what when when you're
saying strategy, your other titles insurance strategies. So what kind
of strategies are we talking about? Because everybody got a strategy, right,
But what's the ultimate strategy When it comes down to you, Anthony,
what what do you find that's work?

Speaker 2 (13:16):
The ultimate strategy is getting your household in order on
your that that's number one. Number two. Let me just
tell you that includes your health, your finances, uh, the
time you spend with your family, you know, the things
people don't see. Get that in order first. Then you
get to your finances. And when you get to your finances,
you put yourself in a position where you minimalize what

(13:38):
your debts are, you know, which means you know, if
you ain't watching Netflix every day, they cancel it if
you if you want a bunch of a firm accounts author,
you better stop getting a firm because all this money
is not returning to any type of money whatsoever. Right,
this is the work. When you cut those down, you
have extra money, more than you probably thought lying around.

(13:59):
Where you can get a policy which I'll tell you
it's an index universal life policy. It is a whole
liney policy, but it's a flexible policy as well. The
whole goal is this, you get the policy, your goal
isn't to pay the minimum payment. It's not to pay
you know, if it's one hundred dollars, not to pay
a hundred dollars. The goal will be to pay more,
you know, maybe two hundred, maybe two hundred and fifty.

(14:21):
If you overfund it, that money over time grows. It
takes about eight to ten years with overfunding for the birth.
Even then at that point the policy can start paying
for itself, and or you could use it with the
cash value to buy properties, buy bigger policies, and you know,

(14:41):
so on and so forth. This pretty much is a
strategy where if you have two hundred dollars a month
extra your policy, that costs you roughly one hundred if
you qualify and start from there. I mean, it's consistency
more than anything. It's not a one day you're going
to get rich overnight. It's a I would say, at
least the fifteen to twenty your game plan, and it's
not longer. The whole goal is to teachers to your kids.

(15:04):
So they're continuing to planning, so they are they're doing
the same thing for their kids.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
Right right, Yes, And again that's where that that heritage
thing comes in. That that's that you know, building you know,
legacy for you, for your future, for your children's future.
You know what I'm saying, even if it doesn't work
for you, it will work for them, you know what
I'm saying, because you put you putting the work in
and like I said, let's like like you're saying, you know,
two hundred dollars ain't a lot, you know when you

(15:32):
think about it, you know, three hundred dollars is not
a lot. Once you budgeting and you're doing the thing
right with that goal that in ten years you gonna
see something and you're gonna be able to pull from
that opposed to try and go into a bank and
get a loan right like we usually do. Right, and
then that doesn't work for you. It doesn't work for
you because it's it's it's not like it's coming back

(15:54):
like you said. You know, it's a it's a lot
of learning on it in this thing. You you also
consider yourself a wealth preservation what when when you say
wealth preservation list, what what is? What's that like? Like?
What what is it the thing that you're actually talking
about as far as you know, vesting into this thing

(16:14):
to make it something or is this a different type
of platform?

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Oh, what it is is really you know, knowing the
difference between uh, depreciating asset and an asset that retains
its appreciation. You know, just put yourself in the situation
of buying a car. So for example, a car, you
buy a car, assuming you drive it off the lot,
you know what they say, it drops by, you know,
one thousand dollars immediately, right. You don't want to spend
money and use money on those type of things forever.

(16:41):
If you ever noticed, you ever see you know, people
of wealth, sometimes they don't look like they have wealth.
They look like they went shopping a k Mart or something, right,
or they look like that's listen. But that's a purpose
because while while people are being flashy, their bank accounts
aren't flashy. While they're in a flash right, they don't

(17:02):
have any policies to protect them. You know, you think
about it, we're all one second away from a situation happened.
You know, we'll here one day, gone tomorrow, you know,
so we don't know when the time comes. The best
thing is to be prepared for and to have things
in order, like a will and or a trust, both
those things meant to have. When you look at it,

(17:24):
you look at the community lines. A lot of times
it's our generations, our as our people, people of color,
putting ourselves in a situation where we're go fund using
go fund means online for situations that we should have
already had planned out. We all know we're not going
to be young forever and then perfect health forever. Why
why pretend to even think that's the case. Right, So

(17:46):
I'll give example, I ask four daughters, right, four girls. Yeah,
I'm a girl dad one hundred percent, And you know,
I look at these I look at these young ladies,
and I'm just like, they shouldn't have the choice to
do what they want to do when they become a adult.
They shouldn't have to be forced to run off the
college or forced to go get a job. How do
I do that by preserving the finances that I accumulate

(18:07):
to put them in the situation to be able to
have choices and as pans. That should be our primary focus,
to be able to do that for the generations to come.
You can put this and I'll tell you again, the
perfect thing about the Index Universal's life policies is they're
tax free. So as long as you follow the rules
and regulations and take the loans out appropriate times, it's

(18:29):
tax free. Uh. And that's the best part about this.
You know again, you can go to your run in
the middle loan loan place. They're going to give you
a twenty five percent interest rate, Like it's a credit card.
Now what would you got, Yeah, yourself that money and
someone else in your family to get at some point
or yeah, try someone else ran kids college fund?

Speaker 5 (18:53):
All right, So it's knowledge right now, So knowledge knowledge
of you know, you gotta gotta notice things, you gotta
know it. And I and like I said, you you
are a baby, you know next to what I am.
You know, I'm a dinosaur. But you you really you know,
for you to notice stuff so young and be able

(19:14):
to you know, teach the youth, you know what I'm saying,
starting with your household and and beyond, you know uh
what it is to really care and and and and
take time to build uh their their platform so that
they don't have to worry, you know, and and to
do it young. It's such a blessing, you know what

(19:36):
I'm saying. That's why it was such such a wonderful
uh opportunity to have you to come on and speak
about this because you know, uh we oftentimes in the
church talk about life and death, you know, and people
don't realize they run that thing. Oh it's in the
power of the tongue. Yeah, okay, But there's other life
and death situations as well, you know.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
What I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
Listeners, right, yep, yep, where's the fruit?

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Right?

Speaker 5 (20:06):
You know, And there's a lot of folk that really
is in that kind of rem you know. And then
you want to you know, and again, you know, people
want to pass the bucket and blame the next man. Oh,
this one's keeping me down, that one's keeping me down,
when when in reality you had opportunities. You might not
have had the same opportunities as the next man because

(20:28):
they had a little bit more dull, but you still
had the opportunities once presented to you. Now, I'm gonna
say that because that's important, because that's my situation. A
lot of times people come at you, yo, get this insurance,
Get this insurance, Get this insurance, but they don't teach
you and walk you through like you did with me.
You know, they don't let you know that this is

(20:50):
not me growing up. You say, is life insurance? I'm thinking, Okay,
this is for death. You do not realizing that for
all these years we didn't called life insurance, but we
think it for death. Yeah, that's and that's real talk.
That is real talk, broke, you know what I'm saying.
And I'm like, yo, how is it that we we

(21:12):
were clueless like they had us food winked to the
highest level through the commercials, through whatever that you you're
gonna die, you need this, you know. And and it's
like this could have been helping me to live. I
struggled during my job time, raising a you know kid,
two daughters, myself you know alone, you know what I'm saying,

(21:33):
And It's like, had I known that, it wasn't just
because I'm gonna I'm gonna kick the bucket in another week.
You know what I'm saying, that I needed this. I
needed to be utilizing this for my children's college, for
my children's you know, like it's just so you know,
what you're saying is so so real, And I just

(21:54):
really commend you for knowing this as a youth and
really taking your family under your wings to do what
needs to be done so that they're taken care of.
You know what I'm saying that that speaks volumes to
you as a man of God, and that speaks volumes
to you as just being a father, a husband. You

(22:14):
know what I'm saying. From me, came on a son.
You know what I'm saying. You you speak into communities.
You understand what I'm saying. So I'm just so thankful
that you came on this thing. I noticed people sitting
there and and this is often the time, how we're
gonna get a house, how we gonna get a car,
how we're gonna, how we how we're gonna you know
what I'm saying, And this man listeners, he is teaching

(22:38):
you the ways to do it, the ways to do it.
It's not an impossibility, you know. So I want the
listeners to know that this is tangible and it's reachable
ten years.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Ten years. It's it's not a part of you think.

Speaker 5 (22:55):
Listen, people spending money on food all kind of crazy stuff,
you know, not that food is crazy, but it's like
fast food is and they and they spending like a
dime on that, you know what I'm saying. And they'll
a person who quickly gets to McDonalds for their kids,
but they won't put on an insurance policy together put
in kids like and that's just like I was like, man,

(23:17):
it's got to change the mind. The way we think
has to change.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
It does, it does have to change. And you know,
I got to just say this as well, there's nothing
wrong with regular final insurance, right, you know, I'm in
this universal life policies. Or for people that are trying
to build generational wealth, which let me be clear, everyone should, right,
it's not just you, it's not just about you, So
you should be trying to generational wealth. But for people
that are just looking to get their you know, their

(23:43):
final expenses covered their funeral, maybe some of their mortgage
final expense insurance, which is just straight whole life isn't
a bad option either, to want to put that out there.
Even for young families. Let's just say a young person
can't afford index universal life, which is normal when you
have a family arage. Right, you can get term insurance
as well. Just beware of the term insurance does run

(24:05):
out if you outlive it. Right, But it's the most
affordable out of all of them. Realize that you have
as long as you have a game plan and the
discipline and God in the middle of all that, it's
gonna work out. If you don't have God in the
middle of all this, it's it's just actions. Is just planned.
But again, like I said, I think that that works
is dead. So it's the work part, y'all the work part.

(24:27):
You gotta work for it. You got to be able to
grind God, be able, make the sacrifices, make the sacrifices.
Don't go buy that new game or those new Jordans. Uh.
You don't have to go eat out if you have
food in the house. Right, These are geogractical small things
that over time you're gonna build wealth. It's a mentality,
that's a mentality more than anything. You want to change

(24:47):
the mentality, uh what God says you have not because
you ask now and a lot of us are are
not taking him seriously. You know, we gotta take him
seriously when he said yeah, but also realize that he's said,
you have to do the work to get what you want.
It's not just something going to drop a million dollars
on you tomorrow. What would you over? What did you

(25:08):
sacrifice on my behalf? What did your sacrifice on your
family's behalf? Also, you got to when I say being
lined up with God is so important. That means as
a husband, taking care of your household, as a as
a as a wife, you know, understanding your your husband's
role and your role in the position and submission because
both you guys are supposed to submit. It's not a

(25:29):
one way street, right. Uh So these are all things
that matter because if you're working on a team where
you guys are the opposing teams, you're not gonna get anywhere.
You have to be in the same team with God.
What's your family underneath that? And consistent and disciplined and
be able to make the sacrifices and be okay with
saying no to something for something greater. I know everybody

(25:51):
I know's like, let's go to Hawaii, right, Ms Paula.
You would go to the Hawaiian and did yeah. Okay, yeah.
If y'all trying to get to the Hawaii trips, going
to Dubai and taking pictures, then you're gonna have to
start making some sacrifices today. Stop going on the little, quick,
little vacations every year. Save some money, and you'll be
able to do it even better than a decade or so.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
So okay, well, I'm telling you that's beautiful. That's beautiful.
Why you sound good? I've been saying I want to
go there for a minute. But like I said, if
you ain't putting to work in you ain't getting.

Speaker 7 (26:29):
Yeah, he's going to the Pocos.

Speaker 10 (26:33):
Watching videos in the Hawaii while you, yeah, right, living
by vicariously through somebody else.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
I checked off, you know, put that phone down and
put some action to it again. The goal of using
that I U L. I just want to be clear,
is to use it to buy a property, rent that
property out right, use it to fund your kids college,
use it to put it into the stock market. Uh,
use it to do whatever you want to do. As

(27:06):
long as it's going to bring you some form of
income back. Yes, you can use to pay off that
if you choose right, use a building, build it right, yes, yes.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Yes, Now with that, with that, with that particular thing
now and everything, there's a there's a strategy, not not
a strategy, but a way that you go about this.
You know, back in the day you had to take
uh uh medical exams and all kind of stuff. What
is it now that people need to be focused in
on in order to get that? Because that's just not

(27:39):
anything and anybody can get so what what do they
have to know? What's the protocols to make all things happen?

Speaker 2 (27:48):
I would say, generally just for your own personal life,
be healthy, stay healthy. Quality your life matters. When your
quality your life drops, your enjoyment drops, and effects whether
or not you walking around the press are not right.
But again, your body is a temple, as the word
God says, it's honored, and you know we need to
do more honoring of our temple. Put down that Popeye's

(28:10):
chicken sandwich, you know, put it down on you know,
the pizza. Put the stuff down, because you don't realize
later in life this affects your premiums. So if you
don't get this spot when you're young and healthy, then
you're older and you're taking medication for high blood pressure
or diabetes or any of these things, it's going to
pop up. And when it pops up and puts you
in the potential of either not getting approved at all

(28:31):
or at least for that policy in particularly, or it
being a higher premium with the approval. And the last
thing you want to do is be paying for your
choices you've made for the last twenty years through insurance,
you know, much radially, something that you prepare for. And
it's why it's good to teach kids this because typically
children can get in this universal life policies and they're healthy,

(28:53):
so they're not going to have an outlandish premium because
of that. And that's a beautiful thing. And again, older folks,
you know, put the stuff down. You know, don't go
always they always I'm not going to say don't go
to your doctor because that's terrible advice, but you know,
try the holistic approach first, right, try to figure out

(29:14):
the healing in the land that God's talking about in
the Bible, right because it's there right there. You just
have to know what you're looking for and what you're doing.
Everyone's on Amazon. Go on Amazon and figure out how
to buy apocrypher of recipes that teach you holistic remedies,
because these are all things that prevent medication use. As

(29:35):
soon as the medication pops up on those records that
they check, it's you're either going to be disqualified or
a higher frame you And again they're going to find out.
So there's no use of saying, oh, I don't do
this anymore. They're gonna know. They have all the records. Right.
It's just like with concerns. They check your driving record,
you can't say I didn't get into an accident. We see

(29:56):
it the same thing transparent, but you won't have to
worry about, you know, being transparent if you just stay healthy. Right,
So they happy that's the goal. And I'm gonna tell
you some of them do require medical exams as you
go up higher and hire, but they also do have
ones where you just answer medical questions and definitely so
it's not always a medical exam required, so you know, okay.

Speaker 5 (30:20):
And you can still people could still get this a
one one, the one that you're talking about. Even with
those they can either or they can still get that
kind of kind of insurance.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Yeah. Yeah, And again it depends. If it's like, Okay,
there's some severe health issues, then more than likely no.
But if it's you're healthy, you're genuinely healthy, you may
have one or two things going on, you still can
get a proof. It's all about the company and their rules.
So that works.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
So so let me ask us a question, what would
be the worst case scenario, so that people that are listening,
you know, may be like, Okay, you know I got this.
You know that won't be a possibility of me getting
this kind of insurance set up.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Okay. So this is why I say final expense insurance
is very like, it's very helpful as well because final
expense insurance does build cash value as well, and may
not be at the same pace as index universal life policy,
but it does build it as well, and the criterias
are slightly less. So you know, if you can't get
an index universal life policy, still get a whole life policy,

(31:25):
Still do yourself because either way it goes, you can
still use that cash value is to get the policy
at a good time. I've seen people have those policies
for twenty thirty years and have thousands of dollars and
those policies like cash value they can use. Now, the
one thing I will say is, obviously, if your goal
is to build generational wealth, to huls are the ones

(31:48):
to go with. But regardless, no one should not have
just regular final expensive Germans. You should have should have
just happen, And I believe you should have more than
one insurance policy to be honest, because policy could just
be used for you know, your funeral expenses, any place
part that you have left over. But do you want
that to touch what could be going to your grandkids?

(32:11):
Right No, I wouldn't want that right right there. It's
that mentality you want to have all your ducks in
the row, make sure your chest pieces are lined up
in the right order, in the right place.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
And I mean, I'm assuming that that's what the insurance
agent will help you through, which is yourself, to take
you through the protocols on what will be the best
thing for you at the time, because I know when
I said what you asked, what it was you was
going through all of you know, okay, well what you got,
what you're doing? You know, you were here and there
and then you was like Okay, here boom, then this

(32:47):
this seems like the best thing, the best fit. Is
it a thing? Where? And I'm just trying to ask
questions that to help somebody out there. If I should
they have, like a person say they want two or
three right insurance policy? Should they have something? Should they
have like a term? And then should they have a
whole or you know, or should they have this one

(33:08):
that you're talking about, Like, how do you know which
one is the best? Like for a person who wants
like two or three?

Speaker 2 (33:15):
Okay, So I'll say, as I always do it, well,
what term is something more young people should get? I
say that because it's the least expensive. But then it
depends on the scenario in their situation. You know, if
it's a young person that's a bit more ambitious and
willing to make the sacrifices up front, Index Universal Life
will work for them too. You see, Whole life can't

(33:38):
go wrong at all for any age group because it's
better to have coverage than not. It doesn't matter what
age groups. Index Universal Life, I would say, is what
you call your dedicated few people that are gonna be like, okay,
I'm gonna put three hundred dollars starg this policy even
though the payments want it, because what that's doing is,
you know, protecting your future. Again, just imagining a twenty

(33:59):
year span. In this policy, you have sixty seventy eighty
one hundred thousand dollars. That seemed amazing that you have
access to that you can just say, I'm gonna pick
out forty k and I'm going to start this business.
And now the business is helping you pay that policy
for you. You can take more money out of that
policy and get a bigger policy. You know, that's what

(34:20):
they need, the wealthy. This is how they kind of
do it. What they do is they get a small
index universal life policy, let it grow overfunded over a
course of fifteen to twenty years. And then what they
do is get a second universal life policy that's bigger.
They take that cast you out, put it into this one.
And now that because it's a log, the amount is

(34:41):
going to gain money at a faster ready you see, wow,
and washing that cycle. And then what they do is
they put it in a trust to protect it. It's
what they're protecting your assets, they're protecting their assets by
putting it into a trust. Again. Wow. More people of color.
You need to have some trust going on.

Speaker 5 (35:01):
That's for sure.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
That's sure. Where to your great great grandchild because they
want to be a kiss. Whether you approve or not,
they can do it. And that's what the blessing is
that you can do it.

Speaker 5 (35:15):
Wow. Wow, that's that's dope. Like I said, you you
you just woke me up because I'm telling you, I couldn't.
All I could think about when you say, insurance is
always death, you know, and and you know again that's
what what I was brought up on. You know, you
you gotta have some insurance because when you die, you know,
it's never, it's never to live, it's never. I'm telling you,

(35:37):
I've never heard that, you know, so really to hear this,
and and I know a lot of people haven't heard that,
you know, because back in them days, that's what they did,
you know, that's what they discussed. You know, when a
person died, you should have this or that. But they
never told you to get something where you can take
money or take value out of it to help and
assist you to move forward in life. You know. You know,

(35:59):
everything with us was we got to have a job,
and you know, you gotta work and you know, get
that retirement later on, you know, and all that boot
which we know ain't real. You know what I'm saying,
you can you could be just as broke with a
retirement check listen, you know what I'm saying. So my
my thing is that had I done that, you know,
had most folks done that, they wouldn't even be worried

(36:21):
about the check. The check wouldn't even be an issue.
But really, you know what I'm saying, that would be
you know, you know, you have money in the pocket
when you need to do stuff, and it's just like you,
we got it, like you said, we got We gotta learn.
We gotta teach this to our children, and we have
to learn more about how to protect our assets and

(36:42):
how to protect how to get them and protect them,
you know, and keep them safe, you know, because that's
that's really the deal. I Like I said, this is
so eye opening for me, and I just really appreciate you,
and I really want to welcome you to come back
at any given time to talk about new developments with
the insurance, because I know there's people out there and

(37:02):
just to seriously, the simplified way that you talk is
so rewarding. Because I talk to insurance people and they
talking all over my head and now they didn't lost me.
You know what I'm saying, You gotta give it to
me like peace by piece, you know, And it just
makes so much sense in what you're saying. You know
what I'm saying. So I you know, I want you
to give your information at this time so that people

(37:24):
could reach out to you because you are reachable, you know,
and you, like I said, not only will you give
them this service and or you will offer the Lord
to them as well, so they getting the two for one,
they getting the two for one to deal with this,
you know. So I definitely want you to give your
information to be offered.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Okay, So you could reach me at Anthony King Facebook
dot com or Legacy Architect, Underscore ninety three at Instagram,
or even you can reach out to me via text usage.
I'm opening text message is that I phone under story
for SCAU zero two nine three, and again I'm available
all the time. Give you a little bit of time

(38:04):
to respond. And I said, I have four daughters and
I'm married, but you can definitely reach out to me.
I'll be honored to assist you. I definitely do free
policy reviews just so you know, so even if you
have a life insurance policy, I will look into it
and figure out, you know, if this is a good
policy for you, if they were forthright with all the terms.
So I do offer free services where if you just

(38:26):
want kind of like a game plan and you're not
ready to buy insurance, you could still reach out. I'm
willing to help, So okay.

Speaker 5 (38:32):
And that's such a blessing. That's such a blessing as well,
because some people have insurance they don't even know what
the insurance is. They just been paying for it, paying
for they don't even know what they got right, And
you know, I mean that that's real. You know, people
just say, oh, just have it, you know, but they
really don't don't look at those policies to see what
it even entails. So it'll be really I mean, honestly,

(38:53):
I'm speaking to definitely the older folk. You know, you
definitely need to know all that your policy office know
because a lot of times you don't not I mean,
whatever policy you get, even if it's a car pile,
people don't know what the car even consists of until
they in the accident. Then they start looking at me
you know. So it's it's real. Yeah, it's real talk.
You got to get up on what you got and seeing,

(39:16):
like you said, if it really works for you or not.
You know, because that's the only important that is really important. Listen, listen,
that's real talk, you know. But I definitely wanted to
just have you to to as a man of God.
I just wanted you to, uh, of course, I'm gonna

(39:37):
ask you to pray out in a minute, but I
want if you had to leave something a word with
with the listeners or just a phrase or something with
the listeners, what what would you leave with the listeners
on today?

Speaker 2 (39:54):
Lean not to your own understanding? You know, your heart
will misleave you. If you put God in the right
position in your life, you can never go wrong. You know.
You realize we live in a world where you always
see people people that I guess you know of the
world as they say, right, and they always wealthy, and
then you see people of God unless we kind of

(40:15):
consider them like a chiev TV preacher dealing with poverty.
The last time I sapt if we serve in the
Kingdom of God, we shouldn't be dealing with poverty in
the same format we shouldn't be the ones who are
trying to pay our bills. We should be conquerors more
than conquerors. Right. So in order to get to that point,
you can't mean to your own understanding because your heart
is going to mislead. You allow God to leave you

(40:38):
and every facet, especially with your finances, your relationship with
your children, your health, and that is the pretty much
the major path that is untailable. It's not gonna failure.
He's not gonna failure. So there's anything I can say,
do that and keep a policy. Don't don't don't have
your your grandma how to go fund me because you're

(41:00):
in the street, or grandma, don't have to wear your
daughters and your kids have a go fund me because
you getn't prepared. Do care about somebody besides, just stop
being selfish and push forward.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (41:14):
You heard it here. You heard it here again. Man
of God. Anybody you want to shout out before we
pray out, I.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
Want to shout out my beautiful wife, uh for being
on this battle of endurance with me. If let me
tell you guys, discipline, y'all, that disciplined discipline sacrifices I
always know knowing what to do. Also, my parents, both
my parents have always been extremely financially literate, and they

(41:44):
they've also been super honest with me. You know, they've
always been like, hey, that's that sound's kind of dumb,
you know. And because they've always challenged me to think,
it's forced me to challenge myself, you know, and looking
forward all my own and look at my kids and
do the same thing to them. So yes, yes, that's it.

(42:04):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (42:05):
And you know we're gonna call it, call it, call
your church home out. Come on, come on, tell them
where you where you where you're serving that and serve.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
And reach ministries. Wearing a mask, come join us, uh
defin when we worship on the sabbage, which is Saturday, right,
so come join us. Man at eleven am past it
the Tarsha cherry. Uh, she's she's telling the truth, y'all.
So you're walking through those doors. Brace yourself for the truth,
Brace yourself for the truth, brace yourself to be blessed.

(42:34):
And we ain't talking in you know, short term. You
go walk out of there with a different a different energy,
a different spirit, understanding that God's from freedom. Amen.

Speaker 5 (42:44):
Amen, Amen, And We've had your wonderful mother on this
platform so many times past the cherry, you know, we
all bring her on this on this and she blesses
us with a music and her word you know, given
by God, you know, and we we just really bless
you for being here to bless these listeners, because this

(43:05):
knowledge is power and and only the things you do
for God will last and this and it begins here.
It doesn't no matter how old you are, you know,
because you know, sometimes you just feel defeated, you know,
because you are certain aide and that and that's not
where you should be. You know, it starts when you
get the knowledge, put it in effect. You know what

(43:26):
I'm saying. You know, ten years is not that far away.
You know what I'm saying. You can reach that. You
know it's reachable, you know what I'm saying. So I
just wouldn't and again offer folks to please reach out
to Anthony King and and get your your your your
legacy UH insurance in intact, you know, so that you
can go to the next level for your family and

(43:47):
your family family and your family family. And we just
gonna go on with that. But yes, it just please
take us to the throne of God and take us
on now and go on.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Home and then and then God, in your Son's name,
I just want to say thank you for waking us
up this morning. Lord God. I pray that you begin
to renew the minds and the hearts of the listeners
on their word of God, that they're more focused and
centered around what your will is. Not that our will
be done, but your will be done. That you kill

(44:19):
the worries in our hearts. Where God, as you speak
of the birds, and not having to worry, that we
may be like the birds, that we trust you completely,
that every step that we take is ordered by you,
Lord God. I pray for strength on this battle of endurance.
I pray for the keeping the enemy at day, that

(44:39):
no temptation may come against you, and that if it does,
you push through it. I pray that you build, you
bring generational curses on your word God, that somebody may
follow us plan will follow you more importantly, that you
may give them the correct plan to establish. I hope
all my heart com n clear and he's just named

(45:01):
pray and then.

Speaker 5 (45:04):
Amen, Amen, thank you so much, and the nags.

Speaker 2 (45:08):
You're doing your things.

Speaker 5 (45:10):
That's right. Take some building and then your last name King,
so you know you, but.

Speaker 2 (45:15):
You do this, blessed.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
I gotta pay that.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (45:18):
God knows the names that he could have called us,
and he calls us out to be those that will
lead the Brethrens to where they need to be. And
I just I just thank you so much, God, bless
you for being on this line. Listen as you've truly
been blessed. I hope you got so much from this
call because this man is speaking life, you know, not
life insurance as in death like I was raising hard.

(45:42):
But he's speaking life, you know, so that you can,
you know, live better and you can do better. You know,
you live better, you could do better, and you be
able to do even more more of a legacy building thing,
you know, when you're thinking about taking your generations to
the next generation, to the next generation. And that's what
it's a out, you know. And I just again, thank

(46:02):
you so much. Thank you, God, bless you, Thank you
everybody always. And it's an open door policy. You can
always come back always. God bless you. All right.

Speaker 11 (46:20):
I love you, hm.

Speaker 5 (46:45):
Hm hm.
