Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, everyone, Thank you so much for joining me for
Daily Spark with Doctor Anseler. You guys know who I am.
I'm Doctor Angela Budchester, and you know what I like
to do on my show, Say it with me. I
want to enlighten, inspire and empower you to become your
best self. The inscripture reminds us that the tongue is
a small thing that makes grand speeches, but a tiny

(00:26):
spark can set a great forest on a fire. And
that's what we want to do today. We want to
get your fired up up out our topic today. We
are talking about when God says go, but life says wait.
So go get comfy, get coozy, get your coffee or
get your tea because we are about to get started.

(00:51):
Hello everyone, and thank you so much for joining me
here today on Daily Spark with Doctor and Angela. I
am really excited about today because we're gonna talk about
something that really falls in the line of being honest,
being wise, being spiritually grounded, but at the same time,

(01:13):
you know, having a little bit of humor, but also
asking you to have some deep thought to assess, just
to self assess just a little, because that's what we
need to do in our lives to make sure that
we are the best that we can possibly be. Right,
So let's go on and get started. So today's spark,

(01:35):
like I said, is a place where faith meets real life,
the inspiration meets your mourning. Well today in talking it
all out, this one is for anyone who might be
caught in between of trying to figure out do I

(01:55):
stay or do I go? Right when God says go
but life says wait? Now? Who I know, We're so
glad that we might not be in that stage right now,
but you've been there before, which means you might be
coming up on another step in that direction. Why why

(02:17):
did I say that? That's a great question, because the
way life works is that we're always going to have
ebbs and flows, ups and downs, lefts and rights. We're
going to have moments where it is a smooth road,
but you can best believe there is going to be
a time where we might hit a pothole or we

(02:37):
might even do some off routing.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Right.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
So with that being said, let's be prepared either for
when we experience it or perhaps someone you know might
need some advice. So, if you've ever received a word
from God that felt like it was fire in your spirit,
only to walk out outside and find closed doors or

(03:03):
unanswered calls or no one's returning your text messages or
that strange spiritual like buffering feeling that you have. Then, friend,
this episode is for you. I'd like to call it
spiritual whiplash. Let's talk about it. Sometimes, this spiritual whiplash

(03:28):
is about tension. God will speak and say step out,
but life echoes back. Not yet. And if you're not prepared,
if you're not ready, if you weren't looking for it,
you're not going to be sure who said what, unless,

(03:51):
of course, you are really good with discernment, and not
everyone is, but all can be. So you're ready to
run the race, but you're still waiting on the track.
That space between obedience and outcome one can shake even

(04:14):
the strongest of believers. But here's the truth. Delay does
not mean denial, and God's go is often about preparation
before performance. How buck Up two three says it this way,
though the vision is delayed, wait patiently for it will

(04:36):
surely take place. Now, we don't tend to say that beautiful, wonderful,
powerful word as much in today's language. That is the
word surely surely to me is so incredibly powerful that
it makes me giggle because it's like, surely you saw that,

(04:59):
like the there's no way you didn't see that come in.
Surely you were expecting that, Like there's no way you
didn't know that he would do that for you, that
she would do that for you, that they would show
up for you, Like surely, Oh, I just love it.
It just really and truly makes me like giggle in

(05:20):
my spirit because in that surely there is assurance, there
is certainty, There is almost a confidence that is just
overpowering with this surely, for it will surely take place.

(05:40):
So God's green light doesn't guarantee instant arrival. It invites
fulfillment and movement. So why the weight? Why does it
feel so personal? So many times that is the part
of the conversation where one gets stuck they're not sure

(06:04):
about the waiting, Like what do you do while you're
in the waiting room? What do you do when your
train hasn't arrived? What do you do doing the layovers
of life? And that's what I want to try to
help you through today. Let's talk about that internal battle.

(06:27):
Did you hear God say that anything was wrong? Ask yourself,
did I hear God wrong? And you're probably saying to yourself,
I did not, So ask yourself, why does it look
easy for others but not for me? Go ahead, ask yourself.

(06:52):
It's looking easier for other people, but it's not looking
easier for me. Why? And lastly, what am I supposed
to do you while I wait? Yep? Ask yourself? What
am I doing while I'm waiting? What's the game plan here? Exactly?
Faith fatigue is real, especially when you're obeying and still

(07:20):
dealing with delays. Here's what I've learned. Sometimes God says,
go to your heart, so you'll start preparing your hands.
The outer release may not come until the inner readiness
is complete. James one four says it like this, Let

(07:42):
patience have her perfect work. That you may be perfect
and complete, lacking nothing. So everything in its due time,
everything will come. But if we don't do the prep
work first, if we don't lay the groundwork, if we

(08:02):
don't build a solid foundation, if we don't prepare our
hearts and minds, then all of the other stuff when
it comes, are we really gonna be ready? And if
we're not really ready when it comes, are we then
going to drop the ball. So many times people haven't

(08:23):
done the proper prep work. Their foundation is lagging, the
foundation is slopey, it's droopy in one side, it's not level,
and because of that, thing's roll away. And then they
have the audacity to say, oh, my goodness, that so
didn't work out. I waited all this time, and look

(08:46):
at what happened. Yes, let's look at what happened. Was
the foundation really ready? Now? I'm no construction gal. I
don't know a whole lot about that, But what I
do know is is that concrete must cure, it must harden,

(09:06):
it must do what concrete needs to do before you
do anything else too, said concrete. Now, I do know
that when you're doing certain types of buildings, they even
add the steel to it to make it even stronger
and fortified than what just concrete would do. That's the

(09:29):
prep work. It's not just overnight that these wonderful architectural
designs that we call buildings that are about our cities
come to be. There is planning, There is prep time.
There are conversations amongst the architects to make sure that

(09:52):
things are just so, and in doing that, the planners
do what the planners do. The project managers do what
they need to do, and then the construction crews do
what they need to do, the inspectors do what they
need to do, and before you know it, voila a
beautiful building or home that you can be in, safe

(10:18):
and sound, assured that everything will be okay. Why because
they've done everything accordingly. And that's what makes you so
sure that you can enter exit, that you can stay
and be and that you will be okay. And that's

(10:39):
what we have to come to understand about the go
that God gives us. That the go is in stages
as well. And I love, love, love that reminder of
James one four. Let patients have her perfect work, but

(10:59):
you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. That you
may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Why because you
were patient and you allowed her her perfect work. Well, everyone,

(11:22):
it is time for us to take a very short break.
But don't you worry. When we get back, we are
going to continue this conversation. We'll be back right after this.

Are you in Tune in and ignite your day with
Daily Spark with doctor adelev Inspiration meets faith and we

(15:13):
are back. Thank you so much for joining me for
Daily Sparkla doctor Angela. I'm your host, Doctor Angela, but Chester.
Today we are talking about when God says go, but
life says wait. So what do you do when you're
stuck in the meantime? The layovers of life? So what

(15:34):
can we actually do when God gives the green light
but life tells us nope, You're still on red. Here
are some faith fueled tools that might help. Number one,
move in the micro. You can't launch the business, that's fine.

(15:59):
Start your outline. You can't relocate, that's fine. Declutter. Obedience
isn't always big, but it is consistent. It doesn't matter
what it is that you do when you've been given
the go. What matters is that you go. And I

(16:21):
think that people are starting to really and truly realize that,
and that's the part that's important. It's consistent. You two
must be consistent. You can't allow the distractions of the day,
of the week, the month, or of others to keep

(16:42):
you from your goals. So move, even if it's in
the micro. Number two practice spiritual patience, not passive waiting,
but active chesting. Say that again, practice spiritual patience. This

(17:04):
is not passive waiting, but it is active trusting. Remember
to pray, to plan, and to stay ready. Pray, plan
and stay ready. Number three, refuse to resent the process.

(17:28):
Refuse to resent the process. Bitterness is going to delay
your happiness, your joy. It gets in the way of
your vision. Bitterness will rob you of peace when the
breakthrough comes. And after all of that waiting, who wants

(17:50):
to be bitter when it comes? So make sure that
you refuse to resent the process. Declare God's promise even
when progress is invisible. Yep Number four. Declare God's promise

(18:13):
even when progress is invisible. God's word shapes the atmosphere.
So speak faith over all that you do. Speak faith
over yourself, over your family, over your business, over your endeavors.
Speak faith and speak it often. Speak that which you

(18:36):
believe to be true. Speak that which you are thankful
for in God's almighty power. Don't speak the doubt, don't
speak the naysayer's words. Speak God's promise. Speak God's vision
over all that you're doing. And understand that we can

(19:01):
speak life into all that we do. We have to
not only remind ourselves, but remind our loved ones of
what they are doing as well. So when someone decides
that they want to speak negativity or say something that
isn't quite so pleasant, we have to remind them to

(19:22):
be careful of the words that they're choosing. That they
want to again, speak life, breathe life into their business,
into whatever endeavor that they are doing. So speak faith now,
not just when it's easy. If you stay faithful in

(19:45):
the hallway, the door will open when it's time and
you're already be dressed for destiny. Maybe it's time for
a heart to heart, dear Sparker, not just with me,
but with him, with God. What if you said this

(20:09):
out loud today? Lord, I trust what you said, even
when nothing around me confirms it. Lord, help me stay
faithful in the waiting that I'm doing. Help me walk
even when it feels like I'm standing still. God, I

(20:35):
believe you're not late your strategic And if you said go,
then God, I'm going to keep going, even if my
peace is prayerful. It's okay to talk to God about

(20:56):
your cares, your concerns, your worries. But we also have
to step out in faith because we are reminded that
we walk by faith and not by sight. Ecclesiastes three
eleven says it this way. He has made everything beautiful

(21:17):
in its time. Everything is beautiful in its time. So
if you are in a season of growing, of sprouting,
be patient it will come. If you are in a
season of full bloom, enjoy it, bask in the sun.

(21:39):
If you are in a season of its time to shed,
to let go, like autumn, then allow those petals to fall.
If you are in a season of winter where we
are in hibernation and in self reflection and turning inward

(22:00):
and making sure that we are the best that we
can be. Then do that, because guess what's next spring?
And before you know it, we are in a full
bloom and blossom once again. So don't take God's go

(22:22):
for granted. He will never tell you to step out
if it isn't in fact, your time to do so.
When we choose to follow the directions that God gives us,
we must also choose to give up our own control

(22:43):
over the situation because we're following God's masterscript, not our own.
Far too many times, when we depend on the little
things that we have made note of, they include distractions.
They include the little pit stops along the way, not

(23:04):
because we need them, but because we think we have
to have them, just because there's an off ramp for it.
Sometimes it is good to slow down, to pace yourself
and to take a break. But sometimes that break isn't
for us, it's for the person behind us. So every

(23:27):
time that you get a distraction, every time that you
are given something that makes you feel something other than positive,
shake it off. Let it roll off your back like
water on a duck. Don't absorb it, don't roll it
around in your head, don't allow it to have any

(23:49):
power over anything that you are thinking. But remind yourself
that God said go, and that's what we're doing. We're
gonna go. Today is the day. So let me encourage
you as you talk it out, not just amongst your

(24:10):
friends and family, not just amongst your coworkers or those
in your various circles, but you talk it out with
God that I want you to remember this that just
because it doesn't look like movement doesn't mean that God
isn't moving. You can remember this by a simple example

(24:36):
that people are using all the time. But I don't
think it's taken it seriously until it applies to you.
And that is the example of the Great and mighty GPS.
When you are driving along and you are on the
right route, you're on the road that you need to

(24:58):
be on, you're flying down the freeway doing your thing.
The GPS is not talking to you. She doesn't speak
and say ignore that exit up, don't go that way. No,
not a word, She's quiet, not a peep. It is
only when you need to be reminded that your off

(25:21):
ramp is coming up that your stop is so many
feet away, or yards away, or a couple of blocks away.
It's only in those times do we hear the voice
of direction. So as long as we are on the
right route, and you don't hear anything that means you're

(25:46):
on the right route, continue to go. Some of God's
most powerful work happens in silence, ins that we don't see,
behind doors that we can't open on our own. So

(26:09):
breathe trust and keep your spirit in position because one
day that delay, oh, it will break. The traffic doesn't
stay traffic always, though you might be in it and
sometimes you are at a standstill, there will come moments

(26:32):
where you get just a little more forward progression and
then before you know it, you're back to smooth sailing.
So because one day the delay will break and everything
you've built in faith, know that you will carry on

(26:52):
in strength. So until then, keep showing up, keep talking
it out, and keep walking like it's all ready done.
You're not late, you're right on time because you're in
God's hands and in God's timing. Thank you everyone for

(27:18):
spending time with me here today on Daily's Spark with
Doctor Angela. I hope that I have once again enlightened
and inspired and empowered you as always. May the Lord
continue to shine his face upon you. May you receive
his grace and his mercy in all that you do.
Until next time, everyone remember that you you are blessed

(27:39):
in the Lord. Have a great day everyone. Bye bye,
