and you know what I like to do on my show.
Say it with me. I want to enlighten, inspire, and
empower you to become your best self. No scripture reminds
us that the tongue is a small thing that makes

(00:38):
grand speeches, but a tiny spark can set a great
forest on a fire. And that's what we want to
do today. We want to get you fired up about
our topic. Today. We are talking about what's changing in
you is not a crisis. So go on, you know
what I'm going.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
To tell you to do.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Get comfy, get cozy, get your coffee or get your
tea because we are about to get started. Hello everyone,
and thank you so much for joining me for our
Daily Spark with Doctor Angela. Today we are talking about
what's changing in you is not a crisis. Now. Our

(01:22):
scripture inspiration for today is Isaiah forty three nineteen. See
I am doing a new thing. So welcome to Daily
Spark with doctor Angela, where we enlighten, inspire, and empower
you to walk in purpose and walk with passion, and

(01:43):
that passion will help bring you clarity. Now, today is
a little bit of motivation mixed in with just a
little bit of wellness. It is our day to match
up our heart and our reminds with our spirit. So

(02:03):
today's episode is for the person who feels like something
is shifting. Something is shifting and you can't quite place
your finger on it, but you know that it's shifting
toward something good. And if it's shifting toward something good,

(02:25):
then that's great. Maybe it's a little uncomfortable, but you
still know that it's positive. Maybe it feels unfamiliar, but
it's something that you welcome. Or maybe you're wondering, is
something going on with me? But yet you know it's needed.

(02:52):
So no, my beautiful sparker, there is nothing wrong with
you at all. What's changed in you is not a crisis.
It is time of clarity. It is a time that
you have now shifted from stuck to unstuck, from foggy

(03:13):
too clear, from needing to know to having the answer.
Let's anchor ourselves if we will again Isaiah forty three nineteen. See,
I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up.

(03:34):
Do you not perceive it? I am making a way
in the wilderness and streams in the waste land. Isn't
that a beautiful scripture? Isn't that one that just really
gets you all fired up that reminds you that, ah,
all of that yuck is in the past, because the

(03:56):
Word tells us that something awesome is already in the works.
We are not just talking about external transitions today. We're
talking about the sacred inner shift that happens when God

(04:17):
calls you to a new level. So grab your coffee
mm hm, grab your tea. We are going to take
a deep breath. Now let's lean into what Holy Spirit

(04:41):
is revealing about the process. The stretch that you're feeling
is the stretch of change when when growth feels like loss.

(05:03):
So let's be honest, change can feel like a betrayal.
M it sure can. Change isn't always a pleasant sensation.
Change isn't something that we're always looking forward to either.
If change were easy, more people would do it. But instead,

(05:28):
change is like pulling teeth. Change is one of the
things that people resist the most. Now, in part, change
is resisted because people don't want to give up something
that they've believed in, something that they have held true
for quite some time, especially if they have nothing to

(05:52):
fill that whole with. It's hard for people to recognize
that they perhaps have been wrong all along. That's a
different type of change. Today's change that we're talking about
is the type of change that comes with growth and maturity.

(06:14):
It comes with time served in doing a particular task,
be it personal growth or your career. Everyone gets to
a phase and a stage of life where they want
to do something different, something new. Dare I say something exciting.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Now?

Speaker 2 (06:37):
It doesn't matter how old you are. When it is
time for you to boost to the next level, your
desire is going to meet it exactly where you are now.
This doesn't mean that you have to move to a
new city or that you have to get a new job.
It simply means that there is a something in your

(07:01):
spirit and it is time that you listen. When you've
worked so hard to become who you are. Change sometimes
can be unsettling, and it's unsettling to feel that the
version of you that you work so hard to become

(07:21):
may be unraveling. But rest assured to undo simply means
that you are making room for the change to come
in and take root. So here is your new truth.
Every version of you that's been obedient in the past

(07:43):
has carried you to this new moment, and now God
is calling you to expand again. That internal discomfort, yeah,
that uneasiness that you feel, that is resistance to the old,

(08:04):
that growing frustration that you don't really want to deal
with or have to handle, especially in familiar situations. Yes,
that is spiritual contractions. You are about to birth something new.
You are about to expand into your new sense of self.

(08:30):
You're not crazy, you are not losing it. You are
not dealing with any of those negative expressions. Okay, you're
not broken. You're coming into your newness. It's not always
about starting over, it's about starting deeper again. Each one

(08:55):
of your past selves, each one of your past stages
of yourself, have all had a purpose. There's no way
you could have gone from A to M without d
e or f. You had to go through all that

(09:19):
you have been through in order to be this new self.
The wonderful thing is is that just because you're becoming
something new, you didn't have to sat down, leave behind
the information, the wisdom that you've gathered along the way.
That's wonderful. So many times we're asked on social media

(09:44):
if you could go back to feel in a year, right,
And depending on who's posting it, it might say go
back to the year twenty twenty, or go back to
nineteen ninety five, what would you do differently? But then
the caveat is you don't get to keep the information
that you have gathered along the way. Well, what fun

(10:05):
would that be?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Right?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Because if you know what you know then and not
what you know now, then then you might be just
doing the exact same thing because you don't know what
you were doing wasn't what you should have been doing.
When you are able to wear those lovely hindsight lenses

(10:28):
now and you are able to separate out the ups
from the downs, the goods from the bad, the lessons
that were easily learned and the ones that were learned
hard or tough or slowly. Right, when you're able to
go through and sift through all of that information and

(10:50):
keep all of that, that's a gift. There's no reason
for you to have been bumped and bruised if you
didn't get the lesson. So this is a beautiful thing.
This is a wonderful thing. You are starting to elevate.
So let's talk about a few things that trigger this

(11:14):
this feeling like a crisis type of reaction. Perhaps you
no longer resonate with the environments that you once love. Now,
if you used to like to go a particular place
or hear a certain song, or eat a certain food

(11:34):
and it's no longer doing it for you, that might
be a sign you feel called to speak up, to
move like action, or to lead differently. Yeah, that could
be a sign you crave stillness even when you've always

(12:00):
loved being so busy. Yeah, that could be a sign.
Or perhaps God is asking you to detach from what
is good in order to access what is God. Now,
that would be the highest elevation. So many times we

(12:27):
are holding on with a closed fist to the thing
that is just good for us, and God is asking
us to open our hand to release the good so
that he can replace it not with the better, but
with the best. So we have to understand these phases

(12:51):
and stages of our lives and realize that each one
is important and each one is needed in order to
progress to the next. So in all of this, what
is something that you're thankful that you experienced that maybe

(13:12):
was a little tough going for a while, but having
gone through the storm, having survived all of the ups
and downs and bumps and bruises that life threw your way,
you are now wiser for having experienced it. I bet you,

(13:33):
when you really think about it, it was a lesson
well learned. Alrighty, everyone, it is time for us to
take a very short break. But don't worry. When we
get back, we will continue this conversation. We'll be back
right after this.

Speaker 1 (14:01):

Speaker 4 (14:33):
There's something I need to tell you. This relationship isn't working.
It isn't good for me.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I'm breaking up with you. It's not me, it's you.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
I became dependent on you, and you were always there
for me, even when I was at my worst. But
I didn't realize the damage you were doing. You created
a toxic environment, not just for me, but others too.

(15:20):
You were suffocating me. We're just no longer compatible. Also,
there's one more thing. I met someone else. I'm respected
in public, I'm making friends. I feel like I can

(15:46):
breathe again. That's how I deserve to be treated.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
One going in.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Ascos and it's a healthy relationship.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Love you, I love you, I love you, I love you.
You stop singing, I love you.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Discovery not just as.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
What would it look like if we listened more. Could
the right voice, the right set of words bring us
all just a little closer, get us to open up,
even push us further. It could if we took the
time to listen the most inspiring minds, the most compelling stories.

(16:59):
Download audible and listen for a.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Change, and we are back.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Thank you so much for joining me for Daily Spark
with Doctor Angela. I'm your host, Doctor Angela Butschester. Today
we are talking about when changing what's changing in you
is not a crisis. Let's jump back in. I know

(17:35):
all of this talk about change. I'm sure it sounds
familiar in one way or another. We tend to label
these seasons in our lives as problems, but they're often preparations.
And the more we resist the stretch, the more we

(17:57):
confuse growth with grief. So let's reframe the shift. Let's
look at it as the sacred work of becoming. Isaiah
forty three doesn't just say I am doing a new thing.

(18:18):
It also asks do you not perceive it? The word
perceive is powerful.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
It means to.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
The word perceive is powerful. It means to recognize with
spiritual awareness before it becomes visible in your natural reality.
Here's the truth that I want to anchor in your
heart today. What feels like something falling apart art is

(19:01):
actually something falling into alignment. This is the season where
God removes titles and reveals the truth to you. It's
not important about the who, what, when, where, or how.

(19:22):
What's important is the truth and that it becomes available
to those who so desperately need it. This is the
season where He on Earth's hidden wounds so that you
can finally heal them. No more band aids over open wounds.

(19:44):
That really need tending to. No more pretending to not
hear it or see it, but instead dealing with what
really needs to be talked about. So many times, and
especially with those ills, those hurts, those pains that happened

(20:05):
as a child, many times we were processing with a
child's mind, and now as adults we're able to really
sit down with it and see it for what it is.
So if there's something that you have a question about,
ask if there's something that you need to release, release,

(20:30):
if there's someone that you need to forgive, forgive. This
is a season where God disrupts what you've been building
to give you a divine blueprint instead, to give you
something different that is not built by solely your intellect,

(20:54):
but it is given to you with the mind of Christ.
Therefore you know that it will surely be a success.
So let's pause to take it all in. Let's pause

(21:14):
to not miss the moment. Let's pause to make sure
that we understand the gift that we are being given.
So tonight, as you journal or you need a prompt
for later, may I suggest these questions. What's changing in

(21:40):
you that you've been trying to ignore? Is there something
you've been putting off something that you've been saying, Nah,
that really isn't happening. Yeah, that thing, talk about it
with yourself. Question two, what old version of yourself are

(22:01):
you grieving? So many times we are grieving a part
of ourselves that we should have let go a long
time ago, but in true human fashion, just simply didn't
know what to replace it with. So instead of creating

(22:23):
something new, instead of looking for something new, the old
and outdated was much more familiar, much more commonplace, and
he held on for a little too long' third reflection
question is this where is God nudging you to make

(22:46):
space for a new thing. God has a wonderful way
of reminding us that he is still the leader of
our lives by placing people along our path that will
ask us the hard questions that will nudge us so

(23:10):
that we can pay attention to what really needs to
be done. So I hope that I am being used
in that way today as a gentle nudge to remind
you to reconnect and to move forward. So journal, pray,

(23:31):
and breathe. These aren't just mood swings, their movements, These
aren't just failures, their new formulations. So remember a caterpillar
must go through the metamorphosis before it becomes the beautiful butterfly.

(23:56):
God does his best transformation work in the in between stages.
He'll do it for you too, Dear Sparker, I want
to remind you of this, and really hear me here.

(24:19):
This season is not punishment, it's promotion. Maybe in disguise.
You're not being abandoned, You're being upgraded. What's changing in
you is not something that should cause a crisis. Instead,

(24:40):
look at it as holy ground. This work is sacred work.
It is designed by God, and with every chisel, with
every line drawn, with every curve molded and shaped, must

(25:00):
endure the work that must be done. So don't give up.
Don't give in to wanting to hold on to the
past longer than you should. Sure you can be nostalgic,
but not to the point that it causes you fault.

(25:21):
So let's laugh a little, let's love more, let's pray always,
but let's make sure that we allow for the change
that is happening in our lives to take us to
that great place that God wants to give to us.

(25:41):
So my prayer over you today is this, Lord, I
thank you for the shift that is happening in each
and every one of these listeners. Even when it feels uncomfortable, Lord,
we trust that you are doing a new thing in us,

(26:03):
for us and with us. Remind us to perceive what
you are building even when it hasn't yet manifest. Help
us to release what no longer serves our next level
and embrace the unfolding with grace and love.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
I am.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
So thank you for spending some time with me today,
But I want to thank you for remembering that it
is okay to take a pause, to take a breath,
That it is okay to sit down with God, especially
in the times that He is refining us. So go

(26:57):
ahead and share this with someone that you know that
maybe in the middle of a shift, they need to
hear that it's okay and this too shall pass, that
they are being called to higher ground and they will
be okay. Thank you everyone for spending some time with

(27:23):
me here today on Daily's Spark with Doctor Angela. I
hope that I have once again enlightened, inspired, and empowered you.
As always. May the Lord continue to shine his face
upon you. May you receive his grace and his mercy
in all that you do. Until next time, everyone, remember.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
That you.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Are blessed in the Lord. Have a great day everyone.
Bye bye,
