even know how I came up with that title, seeing
as there are never any differences in our house. Ever,
you're potted down right now so you can't talk and
during this introduction. But even when we have differences, there's
many many things that we certainly reckon style around music,

(01:02):
family movies, trying to help out those who were going
through struggling times and sometimes struggling times ourselves. Like Jane
had a bad fall and her knee is ailing right now.
But she saw the doctor yesterday and it's nothing that
will substantially limit her in the future, but it's got

(01:23):
to take care of her knee. We'll talk a little
bit about that. I finished up one book that I
probably wish I hadn't started, and I'm starting a new
one that I'm very excited about. So literature is another
thing we share as well, past books back and forth
around and talk about them right here. And we don't
even have any travel to talk about for a while,

(01:45):
not all the way till Christmas time, we think, anyway,
burring unforeseen events. So all kinds of different things to
talk about this time around, a music documentary, all kinds
of goodies, hits, Arts and Lifestyle Wednesday by Strategic Partners, Inc.
And Reconcilable Differences with Danny and Jane.

If you'd like to join these and other fine sponsors
and market your business to Kansas City's number one variety podcast,
contact us at Danny at Danny clinkscale dot com. Look
forward to working with you. Welcome back. And my lovely
bride has pants on right now, so we can't really
tell that she has a rather nasty looking little cut

(04:59):
on one knee and some scrapes on the other knee.
And it's all because of our affection and affliction and
addiction to cell phones.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Do tell here, Yes, oh my god. Day after this
fabulous twenty fifth anniversary.

Speaker 8 (05:15):
Business party, I was flying high Friday morning. I'm going
to meet Matt Stuart Fox four to do a segment
for the Parade of Homes. The second one we do,
we walk up to a new home completely constructed, so
that's no excuse.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
I was looking at my phone.

Speaker 8 (05:32):
All I saw was cement for miles and it turned
out to be cement, then step and then into the house.
And I just didn't hit the step. I just clonked
down on my knees. Bang kaboom. Thank god no one
saw me. They did rush out after they saw me
in a terribly ugly, ugly prone position, but it was

(05:53):
sort of stunning. But don't do that.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 8 (05:57):
Don't look at your phone unless you're sitting doing nothing right.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
And you did go to the doctor yesterday and got
good care and you have a bone bruise, and he
said you have to be careful and kind of limits
some things that you do and some options that you
might have. But they'll rest up for a couple of
months and get it well. And it did come right
after your twenty fifth anniversary gathering, which was a wonderful affair,

(06:22):
and everybody seemed to have good fun and a lot
of nice conversation and catching up. And I think it
probably lived up to all expectations, right.

Speaker 8 (06:31):
You know, it's really lovely and it was nice to
see so many people willing to take the time.

Speaker 7 (06:34):
They've all got busy schedules.

Speaker 8 (06:36):
We had a nice I thought, a nice environment for
good conversation and you know, just thanking people really, you know,
they are what make our success. So I really appreciate
everyone who did join.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
In and it was fun. It was a great gathering,
good food, nice surroundings, and everything was really really enjoyable.
I had a good time, and basically Jane and I
I probably didn't even talk to each other the entire event, well,
but we talked to other people and so it was
a lot of good fun. And now if they're knee recuperating,

(07:09):
the dogs have noticed and then they want to I
guess dogs saliva is supposed to be good for a
cut for some reason, and they want to lap up, oh.

Speaker 7 (07:17):
My god, on her knees every time they come over.

Speaker 8 (07:20):
They know that I've got an auchi and they're trying
to solve you know, Sue, that's so cute.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Well, barring other catastrophes, but besides the knee, I don't
know if either one of us will make it to
ninety one years old. But that is the birthday that
my mom just had over the weekend and we had
lovely separate phone conversation. Sent her a nice card. She
had a smallish gathering by the clinkscale actually standards, there
are probably twenty five people there. Made for a nice

(07:48):
little picture that we saw. And my mom's doing pretty well.
She has macular degeneration, but it's sort of stabilized right now,
so she's happy about that. And I talked to her
a couple of days ago, and you just talk to
her just now.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
Yeah, we had a great conversation.

Speaker 8 (08:02):
She reads a lot of interesting spiritual things, and she
brought up this one called give me a word, meditative
process of helping people through just thinking through words that
can be calming. Sounded like a really interesting concept. She's
a voracious reader, so we had a good conversation about that.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
She's a wonderful mom. She lost her husband a couple
of years ago, my dad, and she was basically a
caregiver for him for the last few years of her life.
And she's really been a caregiver to all of our
large brood. There are six brothers and sisters, and I
don't think I've ever heard anybody have a sour word
to say about my mother. She's a strong woman in

(08:49):
her own way, in her own very quiet way, and
she tends to get people to follow her around or
seek her advice. She lives in her own independence what
do you call it independent living now, and she has
a circle of friends there and is the scrabble champion,
and so she's living a good life and she's very,

(09:10):
very honest when you talk to her. She never just says, oh,
everything's great, and she'll say if she has a down
moment or whatever. So it's it's always appreciative and feels
good to talk to my mom. She's I really couldn't
ask for a better mom, And most people say that,
but I guess she's in a five million person tie
for best mom, right, I'm sure for people around well,

(09:33):
I don't know if there's anybody who is. There's certainly
not five million of Bela Flex, that's for sure. And
we got to see him and his new trio. I
don't know what. I haven't heard them pronounce it. It
looks like beat trio or be a trio. It's one
word and it's three guys, and it's certain and even

(09:54):
they will admit that it's a rather strange trio of
Baila Fleck. It was a nineteen time Grammy Award winning
banjo player, and he's describing their own website as a
genre blurring virtuoso, and I would say that is accurate.

(10:14):
You can play everything from bluegrass. He's been known much
more in the jazz area with the fleck Tones. He's
done big duo performances with Chick Corea, and one of
his most famous pieces is the reimagining of Rhapsody in
Blue Who on the banjo if you can remember that,
and that's a solo piece anyway. He played with at
the Kaufman Center with harpist Edmar Casteneda and drummer Antonio Sanchez.

(10:40):
Was a five time Grammy winner himself and wrote the
score for Birdman, and he won a Golden Globe for
that was not eligible for an Academy Award because there's
a lot of classical music in that particular score, and
they all three of them are virtuosos. All three of
them are brilliant. The harpist might be the most amazing
story because if you just close your eyes, you certainly

(11:03):
wouldn't imagine that you're listening to the harp And he
also at some point, and he didn't explain how broke
his right hand and broke ninety.

Speaker 7 (11:12):
Bones during the pandemic.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Right you broke ninety two bones, I believe, he said
or something in his right hand and had to completely
rehab his right hand. And he plays bass notes with
his left hand and yeah, that's right.

Speaker 8 (11:29):
Yeah, and he says he plays better than he did
and it's amazing. I could tell you eventually got tired.
But people are shying away because they can't figure out
that a harp would sound, you know, and jazz harp
don't even don't even flinch.

Speaker 7 (11:44):
Go just go or get listen, listen.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Really unbelievable, and they really The banjo and the harp
end up being some sort of similar instruments to play
off each other. And the drummer is a big labor
Balkmar is a small guy, so he's up there with
this gigantic instrument, wrestling with it and you know, moving

(12:08):
it around, and one was playing it like a guitar.
And the drummer, Antonio Sanjez, is a big, strong man
and looks like he spends plenty of time in the gym.

Speaker 7 (12:18):
But he's so subtle, wonderful drummer, and.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Of course, Bayla, I just love watching him play. He's
very stoic on the on the stage and doesn't really
gesticulate very often, but every now and then he just
sort of looks up and has this little grin on
his face like I'm a badass.

Speaker 8 (12:38):
Exactly exactly it's kind of funny, but in a sweet way.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
It is, and wonderful. We had wonderful seats. The sound
was wonderful. I can't imagine if you know one. Sometimes
when we talk about artists that we like who maybe
are lesser known, like Sam Fender or whatever, a lot
of times I'll ask somebody if they've heard of that person,
and he'll say no. Most everybody, I say, Bayla Fleck,

(13:03):
they know who he is.

Speaker 8 (13:04):
Yeah, it's a name that's been around for so long,
since the eighties. Well, he's fascinating that anyone could think, Oh,
I play the beyond banjo and I'm going.

Speaker 7 (13:12):
To do jazz. I mean that's a.

Speaker 8 (13:15):
Because he's using every scale known to man, and even
some that are unknown to Western man. On that I
know enough, and I'm like wow, And he's mixing him
all up and you're like wow.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
And maybe Sanchez is known to some people because he's
done a lot of playing with Pat metheeni four years
and years, so he is in his early fifties and
Bayla is sixty seven, but he looks much younger than that.
And Antonio kind of looks like he's in his thirties.
I don't know how old he is, but they're great

(13:49):
and it's the If you want to find the new recording,
it's b E A t rio And I was wondering
if it was also beat rio. But anyway, no matter
what it is, it looks like you could work for
a lot of different words. What I know it is
is it's fabulous music. And we had a wonderful time

(14:09):
doing that. And something that Jane indulged in and I
did not was the She's said for many years that
when she was a young girl, she would dance around
in a green shag carpet in her parents' basement and
one of the bands that would be playing down there
was the Alman Brothers. And you watched a recently done
documentary about the Almond Brothers called Song of the South.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
Oh it was so it was so good.

Speaker 8 (14:34):
You know, so much tragedy in that band, but they
left an indelible mark. And it really talks about Dwayne
Alman and earlier on before his success, and he was
so young, I mean, you know, he was successful by
the Timmy was like eighteen seventeen eighteen and just was

(14:54):
killing it. But it took a took a while for
people to see how much he was influencing you know,
other drummer I mean, sorry, other guitarists through that eighties, nineties,
you know time.

Speaker 7 (15:13):
But it also talks to you know, what happens with the.

Speaker 8 (15:16):
Other band members and Greg and their influence.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
Is substantial in such a short amount of time.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah, I think the Almend Brothers basically are underappreciated band,
to be honest, I mean, they are famous, and I
don't think anybody if you said Almand Brothers, they wouldn't
know who they are. But yeah, and of course they
lost such a significant member of their band at an
early time, and they had a pretty tumultuous time as
a band. Dickie Bets, the other guitarist, is kind of

(15:44):
a crazy man himself. But anyway, what I can, because
I know how much you enjoyed it, we can certainly
highly recommend Song of the South. It's recently done. I
think you watched that on Netflix, didn't you.

Speaker 8 (15:57):
Yes, And by the way, I didn't tell you that.
Just to throw this in, I watched most of Local
Hero yesterday, which is really a famous film, and it
was I think it was Mark Knopfler's first yeah movie score,
And I was like, This is so great in the
movie because I'd never watched it and it was good,
really fun.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
You didn't tell me that it was during the Chiefs game.
I know. I was busy cleaning upstairs and watching the
Chiefs game. That's why, you know. I haven't seen Local
Hero in a long time. And actually the theme from
Local Hero was often played. Mark doesn't tour anymore, but
it was often the the walk walkout song at the
end of the encore, the theme from Local Hero, and

(16:40):
it also is played as the theme song for Newcastle
United at their games. So like Liverpool has, you will
Never Walk Alone, and so that's the song for Newcastle United.
He is a jorty boy from Newcastle. Yes, And as
we end our first segment, so we can wish goodbye

(17:04):
and tribute to somebody who lived a long and wonderful life.
Patricia Rutledge. And she is best known, perhaps as the
woman who played Keeping Up Appearances highest Her name is
actually Bucket, but this show is all about keeping up appearances.

(17:27):
So she was always trying to keep up appearances and
frustrating her long suffering husband. It's a very funny show.
But she was a you know, she's a dame. She
was a dame and she just passed away. Last week.
She won a Tony Award, and she's done all kinds
one all.

Speaker 7 (17:43):
She played with Kevin Klein in Pirates of Penzance and
won the Tony in that show, and she really stole
the show from two very famous, good looking guys. She's
so funny.

Speaker 8 (17:53):
By the way, on my mother's deathbed, we watched Siri
serially watched Keeping Up Appearances, and my mother just would
to look over.

Speaker 7 (18:03):
She goes, yes, I know, I'm like that. Yes, I
know we had a clast.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
If you ever watched Keeping Up Appearances you would have
a good idea what edna.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
She wasn't quite see.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
Well, she wasn't quite that bad as far as keeping
up appearances, but she had her moment. Yeah, I would
say miss Bucket Bouquet was more sort of keeping up
appearances to the point where she would always act sonny, Yes,
some shiny that would not be always your mother.

Speaker 7 (18:36):
Yes, true, true anyway, And.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Then in doing some research or looking at her after
she passed, I sent Jane a picture of her. She
was one of these school children into Sir with love.

Speaker 8 (18:48):
Wow, that's just hard to I mean, I remember her,
but you don't.

Speaker 7 (18:52):
She kind of became a caricature in a way.

Speaker 8 (18:54):
She did all these She did a version of what
Hyacinth Bouquet became often before she did that character. I
think they really wrote that for her. She just had
a thing and she was also a sopranos.

Speaker 7 (19:07):
I just laugh at that. Very funny.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Much more to talk about. It's as you can hear.
I'm about to cough, so I better take a little break.

Speaker 9 (19:14):
Yeah.

You we are talking about the usual wide variety of
things that we, do and one of those is our
shared joy for, reading and we read at different. Times
jane does most of her reading before she goes to.
BED i do most of my reading BEFORE i take
a nap in the day when that, happens which isn't
every day, certainly but many, days and SO i read

(22:33):
books IN i don't, know fifteen twenty minute. Snippets SO
i am a.

Speaker 7 (22:38):
Fan i'm a fast.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
Reader i'm a fast, reader so it. Helps but when
we were on the plane coming, BACK i had finished
one book AND i went into the bookstore AND i,
said let's buy something that might be sort of light and.
Frothy AND i saw On agatha christie novel Called evil
under The. SUN i knew from Reading Agatha christie in

(23:00):
the distant past THAT i wasn't the biggest. Fan AND
i also, thought SINCE i hadn't read any of her
books in you, know forty, years THAT i might give
it another. Shot she has only been outsold by The
bible And William. Shakespeare she's the third best selling author
of all. Time, well, ACTUALLY i don't know how many
authors you would say of The, bible but, anyway third

(23:23):
best selling books of all. Time and, WELL i read
part of it on the plane AND i, said, WELL
i got to, finish AND i can say unequivocally THAT
i will never read Another Agatha christie. Novel. AGAIN i
was right the first. Time i'm not the biggest fan
of Who. Done it's where the actual solving of the

(23:45):
crime is the centerpiece of the detective work or. Whatever
i'm more character based and just care about the. Writing
her writing is really more and this was Her cule
Pirole on and it was and in the end and
wasn't satisfying and there was nothing really to recommend about

(24:07):
it except it wasn't very. Long that's What i'll.

Speaker 7 (24:09):
Say so It's Detective, Light Detective.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
LIGHT i get The christie fan and, sorry but not for.
Me have you read anyet.

Speaker 7 (24:19):
The long Ago Detective?

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Light, yes, Yeah Detective. LIGHT i would say that is,
right but millions and millions of book people would definitely
disagree with my. Assessment but maybe Just evil under The
sun isn't one of her best BUT i did not
enjoy that, book AND i am starting a new. BOOK
i actually also bought a book Called The, franchise which

(24:42):
was going to be my next, book which is about
the history of sports, illustrated AND i really Can't it
was one Of Joe posnansky's all time top ten sports
books he just did a list of and sounds fascinating to.
Me but INSTEAD i am starting a book Called Fever,
pitch which is written By Nick. Hornby he wrote about
a boy AND I fideli oh, yeah, yeah, Yeah High,

(25:05):
fidelity and several other. Books, anyway this is about being
An arsenal football, fan a soccer, fan if you, will
and it was turned into An american movie about being
A Red sox fan Called Fever pitch With Jimmy, fallon
and he is an interesting guy and he's a very good.
Writer i've started the book And i'm really enjoying, it

(25:27):
and of Course i'm An arsenal, fan but it's giving
me Some arsenal history BECAUSE i became An arsenal fan
in twenty ten and he became An arsenal fan in
nineteen sixty. Eight so that's about growing, up having a
relationship with his, dad Through arsenal and How arsenal and
being a fan has affected his. Life i'm only a
little bit into, it But i'm very excited to watch,

(25:50):
this to read this new book because the past one
was no. Bueno and speaking of no, bueno you gave
a shot to the highly acclaimed Series house Of guinness
and have decided not to sip or indulge in The
house Of.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
Guinness do tell, well you know what CAN i? SAY
i went in with you, know full.

Speaker 8 (26:16):
Guns loaded to getting, excited and because Of James norton
being in the, CAST i loved him and everything. Else
this was so thick with disparate, rock extensively crazy ass
modern music in this you, know period. PIECE i think

(26:37):
they're trying to bring young people into, this and it
was so thickly layered with.

Speaker 7 (26:42):
Fake backdrops that ARE ai.

Speaker 8 (26:45):
BASED i mean there's just was and then the direction
for the. CHARACTERS i only watched like barely a full full.

Speaker 7 (26:55):
One i'll never go. Back i'm. Sorry not my. THING
i loved the concept of. IT i want to, READ
i want to hear the, story BUT i don't want
all of.

Speaker 8 (27:04):
That it's like was almost like being in a you,
know video, game.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Well that certainly doesn't fit in nineteenth Century ireland And
New York Guinness Brewing company.

Speaker 8 (27:17):
Story MAYBE i didn't go long. Enough somebody tell ME
i didn't go long.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Enough, Yes danny At danny clinkscale dot. Com if you
Think jane should give it another give another shot to
The house Of. GUINNESS i did not watch the, episode
SO i can't, say but we. Can we've been sort
of on the given the thumbs down a few times
on this particular. Episode but one thing you could never
give thumbs down. TO i don't think AND i watched

(27:41):
almost all or a good chunk of it while you
were finishing it. Up And i've Watched The Third man
many many, times Starring Orson. Wells in The British american
film directed By Carol reid and very, esteemed he Became
Sir Carol. Reid so he was a night night, anyway
it's as he was, knighted isn't that what you?

Speaker 7 (28:06):
Say, yes that's. Correct, okay, yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
He's not a knight, right, WELL i guess you are.

Speaker 7 (28:14):
A knight then, no, okay move.

Speaker 4 (28:17):
On but.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
Anyway the story is written By Graham. Green the direction
and the use of cinematography By German center Photographer Robert.
Krasker there's interesting angles and also the cup of the
theme is with a, zither and you if you hear,
it you're just so familiar with.

Speaker 8 (28:39):
It and then what he means by angles is the, shots,
right the actual photographic, shots the camera work in this
Is Well it Won Academy. Award that's what won The
Academy award for.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
THIS i don't.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
Know there isn't one moment that isn't brilliant to me
in that, film And i've seen it a million. TIMES
i go, back like once a year and, go, wow
what a.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
Film Orson wells Is Harry, Lyme Trevor howard is major.
Callaway it's set set in Post World war Two allied Occupied.
Vienna this is nineteen forty nine, film and it centers
On american Writer Holly martins who arrives in the city
to accept a job with his Friend Harry, lime only
to learn that he's. Died but of course he really
hasn't And Orson, wells it's, JUST i, mean he became

(29:25):
sort of a caricature of himself quite, quickly but as
a young man he was one of the most brilliant, actors, directors,
everything radio. Producers his radio shows are. EPIC i actually
listened To The Third Man Radio show quite often and
he's in. It and it's great because he may be

(29:47):
the best radio Actor i've ever, heard because his voice
is out of this world amazing but just.

Speaker 7 (29:53):
A fantastic so many levels of his.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
Voice nineteen ninety, nine The British Film institute voted The
Third man Greatest british film of all time, Possibly so
that's high. Praise you can obviously find a film of
that esteem, anywhere but highly recommend you revisit or Visit
The Third man and see the genius that Is Orson

(30:16):
wells and real tension and creepiness of the whole.

Speaker 8 (30:21):
Deal SO i watched an interesting, Film, cobweb that was
On Turner Classic movies a couple of nights, ago and
that was, okay it's a fifties, film so it's a weird.
Time you, know cinematography is not, fantastic but it was
really quite a ride with a lot of really famous
people in. It you, know take take a look at.
That if you haven't seen, it that Is. Cobweb there you.

(30:45):
GO i don't know WHY i said it that. Way
that is called, cobweb but it's it's you, know a
lot of a lot of famous people in, it and
you're just, like oh my, god it's it's it's kind
of a it's based on a, book and the whole
thing centers around.

Speaker 7 (31:02):
Curtains i'm not going to say.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Anymore there you, go. Cobweb SO i said it the
normal way that time AND i have started to do physical.
Therapy there is no chance THAT i would have done
this on my. Own my wife has had met a
physical therapist a few months. Ago she's always talked about my,
posture which is not, good and there's no arguing about,

(31:26):
that And i've never argued about. It but supposedly this will.
Help i'm enjoying going to physical. Therapy the therapist THINKS
i need more, strength WHICH i guess some man of
my age can certainly always. Use my major incentive from
getting more strength has maybe to hit the golf ball
a little bit. Further that would be. Nice BUT i

(31:48):
already think that my back is in better shape because of.
It And i'm doing these exercises every other, day AND
i am taking the off day from the strength exercise
at the PT's insistence BECAUSE i exercise every, day and
she actually asked me during THE i don't, know debriefing

(32:09):
or whatever to find. Out she, was what's your recovery day?
Like And i'm, like what's a recovery?

Speaker 8 (32:15):
Day she might have been trying to tell you something, There,
Darren well.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
She, was but, anyway SO i am taking a recovery
day from the strength, work but certainly not from having
to do. Exercise and you do that to make yourself
healthy and, whole and we hope that someday healthy and
whole will Be Raoul. Malow we talked about this a
couple of times. Here we actually this week would have

(32:43):
been attending The mavericks tomorrow in, fact but that has been.
Canceled all the shows the rest of the. Year he
has been going through. Chemotherapy was diagnosed with cancer last,
year but had been actually fighting the good fight and
doing probably eighty five of the show is that they had.
Scheduled but finally he has now had a complication with

(33:05):
a rare brain disease that is a side effect of his,
cancer and we're not actually very optimistic about his. Future
but we made a donation in the name instead of
getting our ticket refund we have made a donation to
his medical fund and just hoping for the best for then.

Speaker 8 (33:25):
And the fluid of his brain that goes to the spinal,
cord and it's not really you can't really solve this,
one and they just try to, find you, know look
for alternative therapies if at all. Possible, oh that's, like you,
know he and his band are are a treasure and
a gift to the.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
World and The. MAVERICKS i can't imagine they. Would they'll
just probably all the members of the band will probably
if they cannot if he does make WHAT i would
consider a miracle, recovery but maybe it'll be more likely than.
That they'll probably just going their own. Thing Eddie, perez the,
guitarist played for years With Dwight, yoakum and maybe he'll

(34:05):
return to doing. THAT i don't. Know or maybe a
year from now or so we'll be going to see
The mavericks.

Speaker 7 (34:10):
Again so another.

Speaker 8 (34:12):
Form who knows A Max, abers fabulous sax. Player you,
know they have really done. Well who, knows you, know
they might have some very interesting futures for.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Them let's hope for the. Best For Raoul. Molow we
won't have A mavericks concert and the three day run
At nkelheads will be. Disappointing the weekend will be disappointing
to a lot of, people some of whom went to
all three shows when they would. Come and so all
the best To Raoul malo and we hope we have
good news for him. Soon, well it's always good news

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
