Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Danny Clinkscale Reasonably irreverent podcast, insightful and
witty commentary, probing interviews and detours from the beaten path.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome to Arts and Lifestyle Wednesday, presented by Strategic Partners, Inc.
Zach Reidemeier and his team of financial experts will help
you out, point you in the right direction, give you tips.
He's friendly and his team is expert, and so is he.
You listen to a couple of the messages during the
course of this podcast and find out more how you
can get involved with Strategic Partners, Inc. And make your

(00:37):
financial picture clearer. It's time for another edition of Reconcilable
Differences with Danny and Jane, and we've got a whole
wide variety of things to talk about as usual, from
dogs who need to be leaner, to entertainments to potential
new neighbors, and all kinds of interesting things and entertainments

(00:59):
we have consumed, old, new, and in between. We've certainly
last time talked about Robert Redford. Why don't we do
it again, because Jane's been weeks of consumption of Robert Redford,
which I think she probably would have liked to have
done back in the day, but anyway, and also we're

(01:20):
going to Hilton Head for Christmas. We've told you that,
And we haven't a trip to Europe that's nine months away,
But that doesn't mean that Jane isn't feverishly planning for
that already. I think the planning part is almost as
much fun for her as the actual trip itself. Probably not,
But anyway, I hope you voted yesterday and did your

(01:42):
American duty, whatever things you feel about. Local elections are
more important probably than national ones these days. And I voted,
Jane voted. We both voted early, so I hope you
got to the polls and did things that expressed your opinion,
so you can't complain if you don't vote. That's basically

(02:03):
what I would say. But all kinds of things to
discuss today, and we'll start it up next on Arts
and Lifestyle Wednesday, presented by Strategic Partners, Inc. And Reconcilable
Differences with Danny and Jane.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
More of Danny's Reasonably Irreverend podcast After this.

Speaker 2 (02:18):

blushing bride WHO i don't THINK i Know i've ever

(05:33):
seen blush, really but you know that's what you. Say
blushing bride is the, phrase so why not use? It
and Said Jane siemens had the honor of being featured
last week On Kansas Public. Radio her concert from what
late last? Year, yeah late last, year but a year
prior was replayed On Kansas Public. Radio lots of great

(05:56):
reach outs from, people and it was great to hear.
It AND i THOUGHT i would just listen to the
introduction and then that was going to be. It BUT
i heard it start AND i just kept driving around
in my car and listened to the whole thing because
it was wonderful and you must have felt very proud
to have it happen.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Again, yeah it was really. Great THE npr STATION kPr
ninety one point. FIVE i will put a plug in
for The LAWRENCE npr. Station they're really. Great Tuf smith
does this fabulous tiddling of knobs to make me sound even.
Better this was done with The Rural Joyce recital series
In Johnson County Community college In, october and so it

(06:35):
was a surprise to. ME a friend of mine told
me they heard it was going to be playing again,
airing and SO i Got really it was really great
to hear comments from people had never heard this, performance
so you, know, hey we keep on, right you keep.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
On it sounded, great and lots of people reached out
and said that they listened and enjoyed it very. Much
and a couple people, said tell me When jane's going
to perform another. RECITAL i don't know if you want
to throw all that work in there. Again we'll, see
but maybe some little. Things we've already got one little thing. Planned, yes,
YES i don't do anything except listen To jane rehearts

(07:13):
and then go to the.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Show well you're still a great, support.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Dear, well thank you very, much. Honey, well if you
probably don't hear the baying at the moon in the,
background but when we do this, podcast we are down
on the ground floor of our, place And charlie is
up in the master, bedroom which is a couple flights,
up AND i don't know about a year. Ago whenever

(07:37):
he has to be put, away not put, away but
it has to be a closet or whatever during a
meeting or something that you, know vacuuming or, whatever he
tends to. Bay now and like he's really troubled and
it Takes he usually quiets down after a, while but

(07:57):
it's gotten longer and. Longer he never used to do.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
That, YEAH i don't. Know maybe it's a he's a
very needy. Dog As emily said, yesterday he may need
he needs some. Counseling he's he's, got you, know separation
anxiety constantly with, me AND i think that's the way
it is with this kind of rescue dog who was
literally locked in a crate for a year of his,

(08:20):
life the first year of his. Life so we got
what we. Got but we have a fabulous lap. Dog he's, fine,
playful but be careful what you wish for, well and.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
No such problems really with our other, Dog. Willie but one,
issue WHICH i think is slightly, overdone but that's, okay
is That willy is a nice ball of, fur but
apparently Both jane and her sister have decided there's too
much ball there and underneath the. Fur and he has
always been a few pounds above what he is supposed to,

(08:53):
be even though he's an incredibly active. Dog he spends
much of the day running around in the yard and
now he walks and he's bounds, around he's like he's
athletic and. Everything but for some, reason all the little
table scraps and, whatever we've.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Decided you, KNOW i think he's got a low heart,
rate but then he's got a high resting heart. Rate.
Thing it's, weird and so we're just want to we're
looking at his. Health health is everything?

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Well and he is a healthy, Dog And charlie got
some blood tests yesterday and everything seems to be. Good but,
hey he's a twelve year old, dog and you know
that's the clock's. Ticking, well the clock's ticking on us
all at some point in, time But charlie's a little further.
Along so we're trying to have our little buddy around
as long as. Possible, well AS i, mentioned we have

(09:43):
a trip, pending but everything's done with that. One so
why wouldn't you spend your time planning a trip that's
in Next july and we are going on another cruise
on a bigger boat this time and going To venice And,
Croatia croatia and another where It's, Florence.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Laurence, Coodar, montenegro which is highly.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Recommend so every, day BASICALLY i get some little query
about what do you think of? This what do you
think of? This how about This? Airbnb i'm, like it
looks looks fabulous to. Me if it's up to snuff for,
you it's going to be great for. ME i, mean
the one In, Venice venice looked, fabulous and the one
you were proposing in the Other, Lawrence florence looked bright

(10:30):
and open and. Fantastic, now every time you see photos,
online they always make no matter, what the place looks.
BIGGER i remember when my parents put their our family
home for sale AND i saw the, Photos i'm, like
that's not even our, house what what the? Heck and
they make it look as good as. Possible, yeah But

(10:52):
i'm sure that this is going to look.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Fantastic and so then looking at, reviews looking at, reviews
and so.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
We're looking for. That that's nine months, away but it's
something to look forward. To and we'll be heading out
on the fourth Of, july leaving the country on the
fourth Of. July something, ELSE i didn't even think about.
It something appropriate about that a little. Bit, yeah, no,
no what we'll be flying at around eleven. O'clock there
might still be fireworks.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Going oh my, god we can watch in the.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
AIR i think a. CONCEPT i think they'll probably be
done by, then but who knows, anyway not In. Chicago
but When jane looks at around at things and is
planning at, things one thing she's done for years is
talk about a potential other place for us to. Live
we have been in this house now for over a

(11:38):
quarter of a. Century we love. It she's made it
better and better and better and. Better locations, great everything's,
great but as is her Wont jane likes to. Explore
and the townhouse thing concept you sent me the other
day look pretty. COOL i, MEAN i don't think we're
going to pull the trigger on it, anytime, so but

(11:59):
it looks kind of. Neat flat looks.

Speaker 1 (12:00):
Good we have more stairs Than god getting To heaven,
here so it's like flat looked good to me at the.
Moment but that's just Because i've hurt my, knee.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Right and we no sooner or. Later, Hey i've got
a bad knee. Too it's not doesn't interfere with anything
THAT i, do and especially Now i'm doing physical therapy
and things like, that even THOUGH i don't really need physical.
Therapy but it's great workout and fine tuning and everything.
Else and Supposedly i'm going to get. STRONGER i don't
know if that's possible at this advanced, age but we'll.

(12:34):
See but this is all in conjunction with the fact
that we have some longtime neighbors who lived next to,
us and apparently they've seen greener pastures, themselves and we
saw a sign go. Up AND i don't know if
this is going to be a thing that happens, soon
but new neighbors always an exciting. Potential, Yes i'm. Gleeful

(12:56):
we can't, say we won't go into great, detail but
let's just say that it's likely we will have an
improvement in our. Neighbors and just saying their care of the,
lawn et. Cetera you, know the only thing that's bad
about having neighbors who don't really care that much about their,
lawn and believe, me there's a couple other issues as,
well but it is the fact that no matter, what

(13:18):
their lawn is going to impede on yours a little. Bit,
yes and you, know if they have weeds growing and
it's going to, Go, HEY i don't. KNOW i don't
have weeds on my, side so it's never really become an.
Issue but improvement is one thing that we can always
that's very. POSSIBLE i mentioned, voting and we won't get

(13:39):
political here because why if you think one thing that's
not the same as, us then you're just going to
get mad. Anyway BUT i think voting is very, important
AND i think that one thing that it becomes more
important about is in these off year. Elections not that
many people. Vote so if you don't think that your
vote is really worth a, lot then vote in these,

(14:03):
elections because that's Totally sometimes the turnout is like twelve, percent.

Speaker 1 (14:09):
Nine, Percent and stress how important it is to get
the people elected that you want to get elected in
your smaller local. Governments they make all the difference in
the road and even especially more now can't say, enough go,
yeah well through, it think through.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
It. Yeah, well if you missed the vote, yesterday just next.
Time and there's always another election coming up in the
next big election will be next, year and that is
a off year, election very significant, always and there's always
quite a bit of. Change and if you want, change
you can make sure you, vote and if you don't want,
change you can make sure you. Vote so getting to
the polls is. Important AND i guess you don't need

(14:48):
a speech from us to emphasize. That but sometimes people
just kind of just let it. Go the day comes and.
Goes they make it so easy for. You now you
can vote, before you can vote by. Mail you can
do all kinds of things to make it easy to,
vote so no. Excuses go to the ballot box and
make sure that you. Vote we have all kinds of

(15:08):
entertainments to talk, about and we'll do most of those
after our time. Out but why don't we close this
segment with our second Consecutive Reconcilable differences tribute To Robert?
Redford and they did finally Did Turner classic movies used
to when somebody passed or they used to do more

(15:30):
of a feature artist of the, month even when that
person maybe was still alive or, whatever or had long
passed and it wasn't an anniversary or. Anything, well it
took a couple of, weeks but they had a whole
day Of Robert redford, movies which isn't even. ENOUGH i,
mean for, instance they didn't Show Three days of The,
condoor which is my, favorite a great. Movie of, course

(15:51):
all The President's men is sitting there in the Queue
i'm SURE i will watch it again for the one
hundredth time or. Whatever it's a fabulous. Movie and change
to the point like she was Watching The candidate the
other day at, lunchtime AND i was getting my lunch,
ready and she looked at me and she, said you,
know just two hours of his face being on the

(16:12):
screen would be fine by.

Speaker 1 (16:14):
Me it's really weird BECAUSE i self. Indulged you women
know What i'm talking. About watch the way we were
a little bit. Smallzy now that it's gone on for
after forty years or, WHATEVER i think it was like,
this Like barbara streisen knew what everybody wanted in the
audience and she gave it to them. Constantly it's, like

(16:35):
how how that character would feel about this? Person And i'm, like,
wow that just you, know there's some schlockiness to. It
and the music gets a little overboard, now but it's
still you, know you still get a lump in your
throat and you still can't stop staring at the. Guy
it's like he's just so he's actually so good in this.

(16:55):
Role he makes the movie and he he, shows AS
i said last, night his awe and admiration for her,
character but also is, jealousy and then he can't take,
it and then he goes back and acts just like
the ass that you'd think he'd be as the you,
know sports guy in. College he's just so complex, phenomenal

(17:18):
but nobody probably looks at that as a phenomenal performance
of his go back and take a.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Look, WELL i won't be going back and taking a,
look BECAUSE i tried To my best is to go
and stay, away BECAUSE i am not a fan Of
barbara STREISAND i would IF i never had Seen Barbara
streis in and only listen to her, Sing i'd be
a gigantic. Fan and in this particular, ROLE i just

(17:43):
never could buy the fact That Robert redford would even
go Near bartwar streisand who looks as good as she
could look in this. Movie and you, know in some
WAYS i understand, This.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Roland that's ALL i want to.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
SAY i didn't even tell you this. PART i had a,
girlfriend this is a different, one and she was a
big barbar streisand, fan and she kind of thought she
looked Like Barbarus dreis in which she did, Not AND
i couldn't tell her enough that she didn't look Like
barbara Streis, in because if she did look Like barbarus Dreis,
in we wouldn't be. Together but, anyway the way we

(18:18):
were certainly has a famous song and you can listen
to her belt it, out and there's nothing better Than
barbara Streis in belting something. Out that's that's for. Sure
so we've got lots of other things old and new
to talk about that we've watched or, consumed Or jane
has and has. Some we got some, anniversaries AND i
think we'll close up with a couple re recommendations of

(18:39):
things that are just reliably, entertainable, entertaining or. Entertainable that's
not even a.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Word that's a new. WORD i like that.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Entertainable these are, entertainable entertained.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
At attain potentially attained.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Entertainment, anyway WHETHER i made up a new word or,
not we'll find out next On Reconcilable differences With danny And,
jane part Of arts And Lifestyle, wednesday presented By Strategic, Partners.

Speaker 1 (19:06):

Speaker 2 (21:02):
You welcome back last. Night it was my. Suggestion we've
watched this movie many, times but the Classic hollywood musical
Forty Second street was on and it was made in
nineteen thirty. Three it's probably the standard bearer for all
the musicals that would. FOLLOW i think it's probably one

(21:23):
of the. Best you can look at it in a
certain way if you want and, laugh because it's got
all The Busby berkeley craziness in, it and it's a
pre code. Movie though we've talked about this before The
Hayes code coming along nineteen thirty. Four it put all
kinds of restrictions on what you could say and do
in the movies and try to sanitize them. Completely and before,

(21:46):
that the talking movies from like nineteen thirty to nineteen thirty,
four some of them are unbelievably, racy borderline Dirty May
west's movies are hysterically funny before and she was still
funny after the. Code but there's negligees and you can
see through, them and women are bouncing around with no

(22:08):
under our garments on and and this movie features all of,
that and you can understand why these movies would be
really popular just from the standpoint of people all around
the country who if you saw somebody's ankles then it
was like a cool. Thing and there you see these
showgirls who've got virtually nothing on trying. Out and just

(22:31):
to give you an idea of what a pre code thing,
IS i, Mean Ginger rogers is in this. Movie there's
this all kinds of familiar people from old time movies
and her characters Anytime, Annie so it just gives you an.
Idea and Uh Werner baxter is the megalomaniac director who's
got health problems and this is his last. Chance and

(22:54):
there's all.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Kinds Of dick pals crooning.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Beautifully he's the he's the boys, singing and there's nothing
no person who could ever be described more as fresh
faced Than dick pok.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Quite and then the way he did with his phenomenal
film noir, career that's just a brilliant and he.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Didn't new he just decided after many, YEARS i don't
want to be a boy singer, anymore probably. Can't Ruby
keeler is the star of the show who's made a
star because the star of the show turns her, ankle of.
Course and there's all the cliches that we saw in
these musicals were basically based on the fact that they're
all in this.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
One the great Thing Busby. Berkeley he's creating art, pieces
like standalone art pieces that don't even have to have
you don't have to know anything going on with the.
Film just watch those and that's precursor to some amazing
work that he's influenced so many. People it's, unreal and
it's all done without all this. Technology it's physical, work just,

(23:55):
beautiful beautiful. Dance routines and just general, choreography the beauty
of moving. Bodies oh my, god the thought that went behind.
It it's so worth.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
It it is so worth, it and it's you can
take it as camp if you. WANT i think it's
way better than watching the movie last. NIGHT i just
thought it was a better. Movie it's. Funny it's the
dance and dancers get better as they go, along as
if they're being. Instructed and you Know George, brent who's
not our, favorite BUT i guess this part kind of
works for. Him there's all kinds of great character, actors

(24:28):
none better Than Guy, kibbi who plays the old bald
rich man who finances the shows just so he can
get to this chorus, girls and which is very. Funny
and there's one familiar face after, another including in This
wikipedia Page i'm looking. At there's like ten people who
we actually recognize and know by name who have their

(24:51):
Own wikipedia page who are uncredited in this. Film oh my,
God Louise BEAVERS i. Page she's not even credited in the.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Movie.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Wow so it's it's really an amazing. Film and also
it produced a story we've told many times about going
to an off road road production of forty Second, street
and we had been To broadway many many times at
that particular, time and based on a very good review
in The Kansas City, star we decided to go to

(25:19):
the touring company and the first act, finished AND i
turned To jane AND i, said the dancers weren't lined.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
Up oh my, god when you're doing a line dance
in forty Second, street there has to be an exact
amount of space in between each. DANCER i noticed. IT
i didn't say a. Word it Was danny that noticed,
this And i'm, like they're just. Online they're not getting
notes every night when they're on, there and so when
they're on, tour we were.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Snobs we have not returned to a touring company show since.
Then we basically haven't returned to A broadway show since.
Then so that's Something i'll look forward to the next
time we've been On we've been on hiatus from The broadway.
Well a couple of weeks, Ago jane watched a film
THAT i only saw the end, of But i'd seen
before a couple times for, sure and it Was Young

(26:06):
winston About Winston, churchill AND i thought it was really
an amazing. Film it has many many famous people in
it as, Well robert, Chauge On, Mills Anthony, hopkins a
very Young Jane seymour is in, this Also patrick McGee
on and. On But Simon ward Plays, churchill AND i

(26:27):
think he is remarkable in the fact that he's playing a,
young Dashing Winston churchill and he has all the mannerisms
of the old Man. Churchill that's one thing THAT i
thought was great about.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
It oh my. God, yeah and it was very. Subtle
it's older, movie so it's slower pace some people may.
Not but what was interesting is really understanding the kind
of wow he. Was really it was corporal punishment, involved
especially in The english boys schools then that you could
see what you, know he really was neglected by his,

(26:59):
mother really neglected by both, parents some abuse by the.
FATHER i, mean how here's someone who transcended the circumstances
he was in to create.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
The man he.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
WAS i mean his dad was, obviously you, know very well.
Known he was in the.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Party was A.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Tory, no he was the other. ONE i can't remember.
Now my brain's Dad, LABOR i. Think and it was,
like you, know transcending these difficult moments and then people
didn't believe in. Him they never thought he was going
to go, anywhere and then he suddenly evolves into this amazing.
Person and so it was neat because it was really

(27:37):
focused on his young. Life so if anybody's interested in,
that that would be it's worth.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
Watching it was very much worth.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
Watching Anne bancroft plays his.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Mom she's, fantastic and he goes off and is a
cavalry officer and his experiences in the war really traumatic
and very. Terrified, yeah WHAT i could understand IS i
read two or three biographies Are Winston churchill fairly, recently
AND i can understand from watching this movie why the
man pretty much drank from morning till bedtime and took a.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Lot of travel he, experienced but he also had this.
Ego what was interesting was he just was so daring
in the. WAR i, mean he was just people saw
he rose to the top because he was really. Amazing
he was. Amazing he deserved all his, medals that's for.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
Sure, well another thing that was certainly a lot later
was yesterday in the, MORNING i didn't know what was going.
On all of a, Sudden i'm hearing THE, tv and
usually that means something. Bad when the TV's on in the,
morning like, like, oh, oh is it nine to eleven
again or? Whatever and what it was was the fiftieth
anniversary Of Good Morning america And jane was watching, that

(28:45):
and they had all the living hosts and older people
back From David, hartman WHO i thought had passed to be,
honest But Joan, London Charles gibson and of course the
crew now with The roberts And, Stephanopfls Michael strahan and so.
On and it was a little too much yucking it
up for, me but it was a nice trip down

(29:07):
memory memory, lane and for people who are fans of the,
show it was probably quite.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Cool you, know that's what we watched WHEN i was
in high. School it started in seventy, five and it's, like,
OOPS i didn't say. That cut that, out cut that date.
Out So i've seen every one of these, hosts and
It's Diane sawyer definitely sort of stands. Out she was
there's more depth to. Her But Joan london was like everybody's.
Mom she was there Before charlie brought him. In she

(29:32):
has quite a. History she's this buttoned up, thing but
she looks fantastic and she has a younger. HUSBAND i
think they had kids older and she's looking great and
trying to think of the woman's name in the redhead
she was Standing, nancy do, So, nancy she said, Nothing i'm.
Not she's quite, old so maybe they just wanted her,
there but she probably Isn't.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
She was really an, ACTRESS i think.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
So she was a god that's, right. Comedian she wasn't
there very, long but she was one of the first.
Hosts that's pretty.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Long and then somebody Who i'd never, Of Sandy, hill
was the lady for three, years in Between Nancy dissou
And John, london who would do it for seventeen. Years
Good Morning america also has a very important part in
my life because my dad was the local newsman who
did the things that you would see here In Kansas
city and in between if you know, where it's like

(30:20):
twenty five. Past he also did the news Before Good Morning.
AMERICA i worked at THE tv station for a summer.
Night used to go there every, night and then he
worked in the morning AND i would stay past my
shift and they had a morning show of their own,
afterwards and because it Was, boston all kinds of famous
people came. There AND i actually had a date With glennis,

(30:45):
O'Connor so that was that was. Stername it's snutter, name that's,
right IS i think such her? Name, anyway she was
an Odabilly joe that's whoever that. Was so it's an
important aspect of my. Life, also that show really took
a while to get because The Today show was The.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
King.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah eventually it became the pre eminent morning, SHOW i,
believe and was the greting's. Leader you.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
Know joan kind of said it the best. Yesterday she was,
like you, know we became your family in a. Way
we didn't know, it but people would just like you
hadn't even brushed your teeth yet and you were sitting
down to watch. Us and we didn't realize how much
of effect we would. Have and you, know people when
they stopped to talk to, us they think they know.
Us you, know it's good and it's bad for, them you, know.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
RIGHT i, mean it's the kind of the reaction people
have when they listened to me on the radio for
all those. Years because you're on the radio for four
hours a, day and if you talk about your family and,
everything people you, know we'd Meet jane and they say,
WELL i feel Like.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
I'm GOING i know it's fun, THOUGH i like, it
but it's not that. Often every day would be another, thing.

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Right so, Anyway happy fiftieth anniversary To Good Morning, america which.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Continues George stephanopolis is shorter THAN i. Thought.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Well, also it doesn't help That Robin robbins is over six.

Speaker 1 (32:04):
Feet everybody's.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Should robins sixty? One, yeah he looks like he's two.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Feet does he looks like a?

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Midget he looks like a little. Person he doesn't, say no.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
MIDGET i didn't say.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
That cut that? Out yes she. Did we won't be
cutting that out a little. Person go Watch The terror
Of Tiny. Town, yes, yes. Exactly that's reliable. Entertainment but
we've talked about this, before But i'm just going to
close with it with it heads up to any. Time
it's available all the time on YOUR, tv whatever streaming

(32:40):
service you have or. Channel there must be there's always all.
These anyone has an old TIMEY tv, channel, okay they
all do ME tv whatever it, is and many of
them will feature recurring episodes of bold shows and one
that we my tape all the time and we watched

(33:02):
a lot for a. While but now we just go
back every now and then As Barney. Miller it is,
absolutely reliably hilarious all the time we. Watched we watched
one the other day and we hadn't watched one in a,
while AND i was, like this is. Funny this is
better than this might be the best one we've ever, seen.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
You, know fall down. FUNNY i, mean you just don't
watch sitcoms that are as funny as that.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Was today And Steve, landisburg everybody's, good and you know
we've had. That we had the pleasure of Meeting Hal.
LINDON i did a podcast with him that was really
really fun a couple of years ago when he was
at The New. Theater he's still alive and kicking at
ninety three years, old so very. Cool most of the
people on the show are passed except and he was

(33:47):
the oldest one older than this now he's about ninety,
three ninety, three ninety, four but we met him when
he was in his ninety he was like eighty nine. Then,
okay so, anyway absolutely, reliable and of course you want
to talk about. Reliable we just watched another one with
a female guitarist WHO i didn't search your name, around but, anytime,

(34:10):
anywhere late at, night just go find some billy. Strings
oh my, god blown away every. Time there's so many cool,
videos particularly the ones where he's just by himself or
with one other artist or with his fabulous, band and
you watch two or three of them and you're, LIKE
i can't stop. Watching he's. Amazing there's a couple of

(34:33):
great recommendations for entertainable. Entertainments is that what you?

Speaker 5 (34:40):
