Speaker 3 (01:44):
I think they are spectacular, awesome, some they're they're amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
Late did an unbelievable job.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
You win.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I cannot stress how happy it looked really good from
looking at the back. Yeah, from across, Yeah, that's true.
I uh uh. I want more though. It's like a drug.
And my wife is like, we're not turning this into
some freak side show, you know. I'm like, no, no,
I know, but more. I want more stew some bushes and.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Trees theon Lynn's side this time.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
You know, maybe a big blow up snowman.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
You know, I don't know, not a fan of the inflatables.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
I think I'm going to get some flying reindeer, you know,
circling around the house. Not sure how I'm gonna do it,
maybe like you know, powered by drones flying around. You know,
I'm thinking, you know, I want more, Danny.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
You know, they did such a great job.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I want more.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
It's sad when people do the inflatables and then they
deflate them, but they don't pick them up. They just
they just lay up there. They're laying in the yard
for a while. You walking the dog.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, you know, well, I mean, what's wrong with Santa,
he's just napping.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Or if they just don't have the right seal and
it starts to fade and you drive by and Sanda,
it's just kind of listing to one side.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
And dead pumpkin there. Pumpkin was there a week ago.
Come on, do better anyway. So I don't like that,
you know, inflatables that meant a little too much bush,
the bushes tastefully done. I can okay, I can go
there way down with that. I can go there with you, okay, yeah, yeah,
(03:19):
but you don't want to go back and say go
by and say, oh, these people like Willy Wonka and
the Chocolate Factory. It's their favorite film, you know.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I kind of doll. I like, I kind of do.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
My wife loves the original movie and I liked the remake, So.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Okay, sort of you're getting a divorce.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
You're saying over the little film, Lily Little Yeah, over
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Okay, get a note, Danny, we talk about the weather. Uh.
The weather is supposed to drop in the middle of
the Miszoo game. They are going to start the game
at what like sixty five something like that and calm
and sometime around my what halftime or early in the third. Yeah,
it is supposed to drop down to thirty five degrees
(04:06):
and have wins gusting up to forty miles per hour.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well maybe if Missouri hangs in there for a bit. Maybe.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Oh. I love hearing Matt. I love the tigers and
the points even more now.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
They know I'm saying, if they hang in there that
long enough, the wind would help them.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I think everything just hanging around because that's their only
hope is to hang around. Right, I couldn't possibly win
this game. Keep talking like that. I love hearing that.
It makes me feel better about my pick. Love the
tigers on the points. If you're Asian, you should not
love that because I went one and four last week.
But yeah, that's my view.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
I don't love that. I don't hate it, but I
certainly don't love it.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
How good do you think A and M is, Danny?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I think they're quite good, actually.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Based upon a win over Notre Dame, who has beaten
no One.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
No, just based upon the fact that I think they
have a good coaching staff, stuff in place that I think,
combined with their talent, probably is better than they have
had in the past when they just hired at, you know,
the highest price, the flavor of the month coach. I
(05:12):
think they've got more substance now. I think Collins Klein
is probably a rising star as an offensive coordinator. They
have veteran quarterback, so I do think they have a
lot of things in place. But missus kind of a
wild card in this game, and I think they can
play free. They have a quarterback who doesn't know any better,
so I don't dismiss their chances of winning, but I
(05:33):
could I could see this game getting out the gate.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Weren't you weren't you shocked when he saw six and
a half? Yeah, yes, that's why I love him.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Well, I never do that. I know it's probably wise
to pay attention for those reasons. But I judge the
game based on what I think and.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
Lots of fools there. Yeah, well yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
I think it's about the same as a fools therein
is trying to figure out what Vegas says concocted to
steal your money.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
No, you just have I try to figure out what
Vegas is concocted because I think they know better than me.
They build four thousand room hotels and casinos based upon
knowing more than me.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Right, But they're always but they're not always right, and we're.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Specifically they're always right.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
We're specifically focused on They.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Set a line, they don't pick a winner, right, so
you've got to figure out what they're doing with that line.
I don't they're begging dumb asses like you to run
down there and bet Texas A and M.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Well, then they're failing because I'm not running down there
and betting, but.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Because you're yell no.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
Because they build million dollar casinos on the backs of
he said million dollar casino. Yeah, yeah, that's that's well.
I don't think. I don't think construction. They probably there's
probably a casino still built for under a bill.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Not under a million, not not for a million dollars.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
I've said millions, I said millions.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
I didn't hear the play that back. If you would, Kyle,
let's go, let's go to the tape. Enough of Danny
hiding behind his misstatements. No, but I really do. I
think Miszoo. I don't think there's that much difference between
Texas A and M and Miszoo. I think the A
and M quarterback is good, but I think he puts
the ball in harm's way more than people realize. I'm
(07:24):
hoping for all the Maszoo fans out there that they
take advantage of that and that they can get some
heat on him, because to me, he tries to throw
the ball through a wall every time he throws it,
and the ball is low, so I would be telling
all my defensive lineman get your hands up, all my linebackers,
anybody and drops, get your hands up the ball. He
(07:46):
throws fastballs only, And I was just amazed in the
LSU game, But how many times Lsu was like, literally,
if their hand is an inch to the left, they
knock it down. And he did finally get picked. He
got picked in the end zone in that game as well.
That's what Kepelisu in it for three quarters. But I
think A and M. I agree with everything you said
(08:07):
about A and M. But would you would you say
that Maszoo is well coached.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
I do think they're well coached. I do, but so
much rides on what Miszoo's quarterback play is going to be,
which is a complete wild card. I was impressed what
I saw, but three it's three quarters of a game
by a freshman who's just going out there.
Speaker 2 (08:31):
Now.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
He's had two weeks to think about. Whoa I'm going
out there against the number three team in the country. Now,
maybe he's one of these guys who's really a true alpha.
It's like, just use this as a great opportunity. I
should have gotten this opportunity sooner. I'm really good, and
I'm going to go out and show these people in
front of the whole nation that I can do it.
(08:53):
And that's that's certainly possible too. But I mean, you
don't just have to rely on Marcel Reid. They don't
throw the ball that much. Really. He has thrown six interceptions.
That's pretty high for only two hundred and twenty three attempts.
But when you're talking about just that many attempts. So
at this point in the season, they lean on their
running game. They got four guys who averaged five yards
(09:13):
of carry. That's potentially a problem for Missouri. Missouri's running
game has gone sideways. That's where I think they got
a little bit, a little bit of a back. It
started to get some of them back against Vanderbilt. It's
but part of me I think scored could dictate that.
The one thing I do like about the offense from
Missouri standpoint is A and M will give up some
(09:35):
yards and points and not superfluous. I mean, the teams
that have scored against them have scored throughout the game.
It wasn't where they rolled it twenty one in the
fourth quarter. So they'll they'll give you a dominant They've
won every game pretty much. A middling Power five team.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
When it comes to defense, other than Notre Dame, what's
their best win?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
No, probably personnel wise might be LSU. I mean that no,
But there's the way that college football works these days.
There's a handful of teams that play a really tough schedule,
and then there's a whole bunch of teams there we go,
who if.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
They played who they beaten, right, That's why I just
I don't think there's you know, they haven't played anyone
the caliber of Alabama and Vanderbilt. That's true, and so
they're undefeated, but so was Miszoo before playing those teams.
You know, if you take those teams out, Miszoo comes
in this game undefeated, and Missoo would be up to
that eye. I'll remind people Texas, San Antonio, Utah State
(10:32):
forty one forty at Notre Dame, fine quality win, I will.
I'll run down the Notre Dame schedule for you here
in a minute, and you're right, most of them are.
But that's where I just think that that's where I
think there is value in trying to figure out, Okay,
why is this number, Well, let me look into it.
I look at why that number is. It's because the
(10:53):
rest of their schedule. Sixteen to ten over Auburn fired
their coach, thirty one nine over Mississippi State, They are
one in five in the league, thirty four to seventeen
over Florida fired their coach, forty five, forty two over
Arkansas fired their coach, forty nine, twenty five over LSU
fired their coach.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Well, I don't think in the SEC fired your coach
holds much water any Well.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
It does mean that you're not doing well.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
You're not doing as well as was expected. I mean
that's you know, LSU fired a coach who's won seventy
percent of his games at the school that fired him.
Florida's played pretty decent football this year, actually, I mean
they've they've been competitive in their games. I think they
should have looked in a different direction. They can do
(11:41):
better than Billy Napier. But so that, yeah, you can
only play who And I agree Arkansas game is troubling.
I don't think the Aggies are unbeatable. In fact, I don't.
I don't think they're probably the third best team in
the country. But this is a year where there's not
seven really good teams. You know, if you're and if
you're ninth, you know, oh, that's just because there's seven
(12:04):
outstanding teams. Got to be you know, behind somebody. But
they won all their games in the SEC. And I
think they're probably about as good as Alabama. And I
think that Alabama. That was a comfortable win by Alabama
at Missou, so that that's the game. I kind of
(12:25):
look at. I mean, I'm only leaning toward Missouri. I
don't think this is going to be I mean towards
A and M. I don't think there's any you know,
I'm not thinking that this is going to be over
in the third quarter when the wins come in and
Missouri fans are going to be headed to their cars
because the temperature's dropping. No, I don't think that. I
think with Columbia is a tough place to play. But
they haven't won any of these games under elight withold drink.
Speaker 2 (12:47):
That is the one big reason to not take them.
They don't win these and and I think it's I think.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
They they're just not good enough.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Well, and that's what I haven't Yes, I.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Don't think they're right. I mean, I don't think they're
arguing there, Danny. I don't think they're blowing opportunities, is
what I'm saying. I think they're going into these games,
they're playing competitive football. They're just not quite good at though.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
He's mastered the art of beating the little sisters of
the poor.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, well, I know he's mastered the art of beating everybody,
except they're really good team.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
He's beaten a good Kansas team, a good case state team,
right case state team North Carolina win a conference championship.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Right, I think? I think so two years ago.
Speaker 3 (13:31):
South Carolina a team when they were good.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
But they were five hundred when it was all done.
He has not beaten a team that's finished better than
five hundred's in the league.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
He's zero to twelve against teams that have finished over
five hundred in the league. And he's also I saw
one yesterday, he's one in nineteen against teams that finished
ranked out of the SEC.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Who's the one he beat sounds like it might be
might be South but they lost in South Carolina last year? Right? No,
let me see no no in THEE I think.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
Let me make sure that's I have that right.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I do think it's time. I listen. I'm not saying, well,
get pissed off and run ELI drink. What's off? If
he doesn't win this game? By no means is that
my statement? And I also think he's gonna I think
he's gonna pull the upset and win this game.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
But you're really money lining this game.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
Uh yes, good on you.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
By the way, I.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Listen, it's we're all going to eat if I lose.
I understand, I'm not putting anything on it to where
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
Like, I'm not going to hear the sounds of you know,
you're not going to be like pounding driving leaving the
home and pounding the steering wheel and wondering when Rocco
is gonna knock on the door.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
Yeah, no, no, that that that won't be the case.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
To clarify, since joining the SEC, Missouri is one to
nineteen versus top ten SEC opponents oh one eight under
drink with the one win. My recollection is at Georgia
in thirteen or fourteen, the game where James Franklin got
hurt with Pink Matty. Yeah, but pinkel James Franklin got hurt.
Maddie Mont came in in relief. I think that was thirteen,
all right, now?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
That was that? Was that pre Kirby Smart? Would that
have been Mark Rick? Still?
Speaker 3 (15:15):
I think so? I think so? Sure?
Speaker 2 (15:17):
It sounds about right. I don't can't remember how long Kirby.
He's been there a little longer than you think, but
not that long. It's what two years of not winning
the championship. Two championships probably took.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
Him three to four to get rickt was the coach
ten years ago, wouldn't he Yeah, sounds about right, pretty.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Sure, yeah, listen. I I do, though, think that Missouri
fans are going to start to rumble after this year.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Well if they if they lose this game, then a
season where you had playoff hopes has that dashed before
you play your last three games, you lose another one
and it becomes a middling season. So yeah, and they
had middling seasons at the start, and I think maybe
(16:05):
Missouri fans would start to say, maybe that was those
two years of double digit wins were like Pete Gary
Pinkel when he went to the title game back to
back years and then the rest of his career was fine,
but it was kind of Missouri esque. I guess, you know, good,
good football, but nothing to write home about. And I
think that Missouri fans general expectations for their sports programs
(16:30):
in general. There I think they're really good fans on
the side of having less patience. They want great things,
which is you're a fan, you want the best for
your but maybe they don't realize that maybe for a
school like Missouri, that's just not possible, you know, to
(16:51):
reach the highest heights.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
I think there were two inflection points since they went
to back to back title games in seven and eight
that I thought maybe raise some expectations. First was going
to a different conference and doing it again, which which
proved that it wasn't just a once in a career
assemblage of talent that allows you to be good and
you're not getting that back.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
He did it.
Speaker 4 (17:14):
He built that team that thing twice, and the second
one was back to back ten win seasons by a
different coach. So I think once those two things have
happened to me as a Missouri fan, I'm like I
expected a little bit more than I would have in
two thousand.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
They've been a good football program for a long time now,
I mean a good football program.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Well, they were picked twelve right out of sixteen Big
twelve teams which had them and the others receiving the
SEC teams thank you, which which had them in the
others receiving votes part of the poll, where would you
rank the Missouri program in the SEC? Now now that
we're seeing them.
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Again have a good year, their program in general.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Not this year, but just let me just roll up
the Alabama, Georgia, Texas OU in front of them. For sure.
I just want to look at Florida, l s U.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Yeah, I think all those are ahead.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Auburn, yeah, seven, Ole, miss Push Okay, I would tend
to agree.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Tennessee, Tennessee State, Okay, A and M still ahead of them,
A and M, nine, Mississippi State, Kentucky finally better, South Carolina. Yeah,
they're still better than Arkansas, still better. That's it's ten,
(18:40):
but it's Vanderbilt nine in a push.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Vanderbilt still better. Yeah, so nine in a.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Push, A and M, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, LSU, Florida, Auburn.
And then you said a push on how many?
Speaker 2 (18:55):
How many of those programs are unachievable for Missouri to
get by.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
I don't think in this day and age anything's unachievable
because money can create, you know, Tradition is out the window.
See Texas Tech. I mean I think I think it
still matters some in basketball because there's less players.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Because that fits your narrative better. You're a Kansas fan.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
No, No, I don't think that. No, No, that's not it.
Don't you you know better than that your first time
on the show. No, I mean it's just I just
I just couldn't resist. It's not like I don't care anymore.
But I mean, I you know, I just view things
the way I view them.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I know you do.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
I'll just I know it wouldn't be any fun if
you didn't. But but I think there's I think that
you would try. And I think that they because the
NBA is so important to these two young basketball players
and they still see guys playing in the laundry of
these schools that I think that still matters more than
(20:00):
and it will in football. Okay, And Michael Jordan is
actually still an impactful person, for instance, and somebody said, well,
you know, Michael Jordan went to North Carolina. You know
that's still cool remarkably, you know, so you know it
doesn't matter that he's going to Navy because Roger's stop. Actually,
(20:20):
yeah there.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I think you know, any program can be down, you
hire the wrong coach, you can stumble. But the programs
that I think missoo will have a hard time getting buyer.
Just the only ones are Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas
and that's it. I don't even put Oklahoma in that category. Sorry, guys,
that's it. I don't know that they can crack that
top five.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
No, I think it would be very difficult, although I
think not, like I said, not impossible.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
And and A and M has the resources and the
location to make it six that they can't get to.
But A, A and M has not been better than Missouri lately.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
So that's another That's another issue that any buddy still
has to fight is that football is still like an
unbelievable of unbelievable impactful thing in the high school ranks
in the southeast in Texas. Yeah, I mean it's still
Friday night lights all that. That's still it hasn't been
(21:17):
dispersed by the fact that other sports are popular. A
lot of kids play soccer or whatever. I mean, there's
just football is ingrained in the still in the culture
of those areas of the country. They produce an unbelievable
amount of talent for the percentage for the population that
they have there. So yeah, I think there's uh, it's
(21:38):
a big hill to cline, but less so in this
day and age. You know, look at it. It's not
not like they're going to be a power for a
year after year. But Texas Tech that's a legit squad there,
you know, And maybe they're going to have that year
after year. I don't know. Now, you can spend a
lot of money and pick the wrong guys. I mean,
(21:59):
they obviously did a good have of recruitment, but money
makes it. And also you're working with a lot of information.
You're dragging a guy playing his fifth year out. You've
seen him play at Stanford or you know whatever. You
know you saw him sack quarterbacks that he had eleven
sacks last year. Let's pay him. He's likely going to
do that again. Yeah, he's only twenty two. He's kind
(22:22):
of fall off a cliff.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yeah, that's a good point. Ayes Kansas is gonna get
bull eligible. We'll talk about that. How will the Chiefs
ever try to keep up with that Denver offense? We'll
discuss that with Danny Klinskills, Little Danny Unleashed. Brought to
you by our friends at Easton Roofing. No payment collected
until you're one hundred percent satisfied. Did you know that
they are citing experts as well. Eastern Roofing offers expert

Speaker 3 (23:41):
The Nick and Jakes end of the hour answer, how
many games have there been an NFL history in which
each team scored no more than ten points, had no
more than ten first downs, and had at least ten
penalties all time, regular or postseason. I bet it's more
(24:04):
than you two think, but since you're asking the question,
it's probably not much. Seems like back in the day
there'd be a nine to six and oh all those
things including pens.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Yeah, I'm gonna say two.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
I'll say, four one and it was last night, and
they had eleven penalties each. In fact, I also looked
up teams that gained two hundred and twenty yards or fewer,
got ten first downs or fewer, and were minus one
or worse on turnovers, which Denver was last night, had
lost seventy six straight games and were four and three
(24:40):
seventy one since the beginning of the eighty five season.
That's how bad there is that good that's eleven win percentage.
Four teams in forty years had won with those three
stats until last night. Definitely made a number five game.
Was just an absolute frustration. Oh yeah, atomic bomb for
(25:02):
people who don't like Denver. If you got to lose
a game, they're in good. Oh penalty, Oh badthro Oh
bat a ball in the air that was picked? Oh dude,
you love bad.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Oh well that set them up. Oh no, they just
screwed that up.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
It was like the I think Chiefs fans are making
up for it today by making fun of the Broncos
for winning.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Well, they won, they did, they won, they won.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
They only got seven games left in their two and
a half games ahead of you. Yeah, Vegas thinks they're
going to get one of those bets they needed to lose,
that they needed to lose that game.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
No, I agree, That's why I was calling the Raiders worth.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
I saw bomb. Aaron Shotts put out something he does
a lot of odds, and he posted something last night.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
He said, with Denver winning last night, our simulations now
have the Broncos winning the AFC West fifty eight percent
of the time, Chiefs thirty two, Chargers ten.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
Take that all day long. I don't think those numbers.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Are And someone baked new and someone said, what happens
to that percentage of the Chiefs win next week? And
he says, if Casey beats Denver, case fifty one percent,
Denver thirty seven percent, LA eleven. If Denver wins Denver
eighty two, Case nine early nine. So if they win,
and thereby their numbers, if the Chiefs win next Sunday,
(26:16):
they'll be a slight favorite.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Well, they'll be one back in the lost column and
have the head to head and and a home game. Yeah,
and we'll still believing that they can beat Denver on
the road. That makes it increases the percentage of the
other game. So I'm not going to say that game
is important, but it's important. By the way, don't forget
your chance to make an impact and grab some incredible

Speaker 4 (27:40):
Breaking NFL news. Yes, one day after a game in
which the Broncos punter was not good, pinted a couple
out of bounds, shanked one off his ankle. Guess who
fired their special teams coordinator? Well, any of the same
the Raiders?
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Oh, the Raiders did. Wait, isn't that Broncos, especially teams
cording to the same guys last year, might be who
couldn't figure out how to protect a field goal?
Speaker 4 (28:03):
I think it's I think it's the same guy. Yeah,
the Raiders gas pipe their guy today. Now, they did
miss a forty thirty five or forty yard field goal
and completely broke down on a on a it was
forty eight.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Mean were they were?
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Raiders were to kick a thirty five yard field goal?
Speaker 4 (28:23):
And they watched and they broke down a protection so
badly on a punt that the guy over ran the
ball and blocked it with his helmet, inadvertently setting the
Broncos up at the fourteen. So Tom McMahon gone, and
who knows when oc? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Pete Carroll's not getting run.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
But by the way that game. If the Raiders don't
get called for that pick play and they get to
fourteen nothing, I think probably the Broncos, I guess probably
find a way, but I don't know. Not the way
that looked, I mean, fourteen nothing that they made like
(29:04):
that pick play was a killer yeah for them, because
they had the touchdowns, a beautifully designed play. Didn't even
need that kind of pick on him, just needed the
rub and the guy extended the arms. Anytime you extend
the arms on the pick, you're gonna get called and
it's just like, what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (29:19):
It's really an easy play to run from a receiver standpoint.
I don't understand why they ever extend their arms in anything.
If you just do what you're supposed to do and
get in the way.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Yeah, that's all.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
That's all you have to do. And they also had
another silly feel like you're a soccer defender, yeah, by
a wide receiver earlier thirty a thirty or forty yard
run set him up deep and he was well past
the point of attack, and one of their young white
outs and may have been Thornton, kind of held on
and held on and held on. You gotta let go
he's passed you. He was five yards to the side
(29:51):
of him. You don't get you don't don't get flag
for that that he raised to play that cost him points. Yeah,
I mean it was from a Chiefs fans perspective, it
was a very irritating games like its because the Broncos
would be one thing if they if they made a
couple of mistakes, they had a shot. And then Denver
finally put him out of their misery. You know, early
in the third quarter and the rolled, you don't feel
so bad, but Denver kept leaving the door open. Hey, hey,
(30:13):
you guys want this game? No, okay you sure? You sure? Raiders? Ah,
we're good now you keep I'm trying to cut back.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
I was atrocious, like and I don't know what, Like
if the Raiders were smart, they'd fire Pete Carroll as
soon as the year's over. But if they were smart,
they wouldn't have hired him. Yes, but if when they
were talking to him and he's like, yeah, my plan
is to get Gino Smith. Oh okay near mine. They
were tired.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
You're out, You're out.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Like that was when they did that, I was like,
this is great because they're not going any.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
It was nice that they'd doubled down by going out
and getting Tyler Lockett.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Last week.
Speaker 4 (30:52):
He actually actually had a night a couple of couple
of big catches. But I thought, that's fine, that's not
really it.
Speaker 2 (30:56):
But but I was Gino Smith. Yeah, if you're wide open,
he can throw you the ball. But he is.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Tough though, Oh my gosh, he cannot sense pressure.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Can't sense pressure. Are you talking about get the fact
that he was still going out there or no he's
not tough? Well he was. You think he was faking
it last night.
Speaker 3 (31:23):
I think he's soft as tissue.
Speaker 2 (31:27):
He is always hurt. I mean there is there is
the Yes, he's no Patrick Mahomes. More more, by the way,
you needed to listen to the program today to know
that Gino Smith is not Patrick Mahomes. I just want
to know. I'm glad I split that at him for
you today.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
There was you know, there was a raging argument Smith
versus Mahomes. Oh, glad you solved it. Glad you waighed
in there actually was well back in the day. H yes, yeah,
maybe about this time time of day. Just saying I'm
(32:05):
just saying saying, Danny. By the way, I don't know
what you do when he just absolutely wet his pants
in the big matchup with Kansas State back then in
his senior year, I.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Said, I said, there's no home I go. He will
never ever climb went out there. He's been. To be
honest with you, he's done. He's made more money than
I ever thought he would make. But he is. He
has never been.
Speaker 3 (32:30):
I would say his toughest trade is the fact that
he's actually taken a dumpster fire of a career and
made it respectable, made it ten more than ten years.
By the way.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
Speaking of more breaking news, speaking of local schools, this
comes from Pete Knachos of On three Sports. Kansas State
running back Dylan Edwards will red shirt and missed the
remainder of the twenty five.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Season, and listening to Tim Fitzgerald, it sounded like he
was coming back at all. How about this one from
Pete Damil for twenty two misre star tight end Brent
Norfleet will not play against number three Texas Antem on
Saturday in Columbia. Leads both the Tigers and the SEC
tight ends with five touchdown catches on the season.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
Because when you're making your first start and you're playing
against the top five team. You want to lose one
of your most reliable weapons, your most relied Yeah, you're yeah, certainly.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
I mean he may not be the game breaker, but
he's the guy that he's a chain mover.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
He's tremendous, he's a pro Yes, I mean, there's no
doubt about that.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
The only thing that said problematical is that the landscape
is littered now with these tight end types. You know,
it's like they somebody, somebody just started printing them in
with AI six eight two fifty white guys who can
run and catch and catch. They're everywhere. Iowa produces one
(33:55):
every year seemingly.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
Yeah, it feels like that. Especially when you see Colston
Lovelin finally break out. You're like, well, I guess he
was kind of a butt. No, no, hang on, what
do you have like five for one sixty and two
touches or something? Last week? The pen State kid's been
great all year. Yeah, there are a lot of really
good tight ends.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
There's a couple in the NFL this year that I'm like,
who oh, he's good too. Well, Hell, I'm gonna be
like it's good to be like punter, Remember I used
to say about punter. Yeah, having a great punter, it's fine.
But everybody's got one.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah except the Broncos Raiders. Yeah. I will add the
Browns kid who went in the third round from Bowling Green,
Harold Fanning. Harold Fannin is pretty good in a Rendez
Gatz And my guy from Syracuse was like a fifth
round pick of the Chargers and he's catching like five
balls for fifty yards every game.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
He's good, right, And if somebody's like slightly slow receiver,
they just bulk up and become a tight end.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Well, which is why I say to Mark Bulrick dra
I'm like, I don't know why Dick for Meal didn't
tell you to get under the bar. Put on twenty pounds,
and we're gonna play it tight end.
Speaker 4 (35:11):
By the way, in case anybody wants to do.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
I think nowadays that's what they do as big as
Mark is.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
If anyone out there is going a Gatson playing for
the Dolphins, this is Awande Gadsten too.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
This is the Sun.
Speaker 3 (35:22):
I'm sure someone going, hey, wait a minute, you get
that wrong, because you do occasionally mix up a name. No,
it is a Rondez Gadston.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
Yeah. The second it's his kid. He went to Syracuse.
I'm I'm not wrong. Yeah, you weren't guessing he was
a wide out though he is exactly what we're talking about.
He was a wide out his first year or maybe
first two years, and then they moved him over to
tight end and he went in the fifth round.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
Good player, good ballplayer, Danny there. He is, good, solid ballplayer, That's.
Speaker 2 (35:47):
What he is.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
What's all to the earth?
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Do you do you like the Chiefs to run down
the Broncos?
Speaker 3 (35:55):
No?
Speaker 2 (35:57):
I think they can it, really what I think.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
I think they can. But that game last night hurt bad.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
And when you look at their schedule, like we just
went through it, like neither one of us likes them,
and we went through the schedule and we have them
finishing four and three in their last seven, which gets
them home at twelve and five exactly, which means that
the Chiefs have won and we had the Chiefs beating
winning two of those games. Two of those three losses
were the Chiefs, and so it means the Chiefs could
(36:25):
lose one. It means twelve and five is what it's
going to take to win the division.
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Yeah, the numbers, the math's just bad. Yeah, that's what.
You've put yourself in a position where the math's bad
and they've won all these games, they're in unlikely fashion.
They've just they're in the bank and he's in the barn.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
If they're a wild card and playing on the road,
they will be looking back at that Jag game going
what in the hell? Yep, what's going on there?
Speaker 3 (36:51):
But the Chiefs. If the Chiefs get things in order,
they're perfectly capable of going on the road and taking
that path.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
They are.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
But it's not the plan, nobolutely not the plan. It's
way harder. Just the fact that you add a game
is But and you're playing on the road, and of
course now you unless you obviously are the number one seed,
you play all the games anyway. But so no, it's
just pure math. I think the Chiefs are better than
the Broncos. But that doesn't mean that in Denver, off
(37:21):
rest and with a with good coaching, playing a horrendous
football game that you won't play. But yet, I don't
expect the Broncos to look like that, do you? No?
Speaker 2 (37:34):
But bo Nix is crumbling. He is he is. He
looks shot on the sideline like I think. I think
they they kind of they kind of babied him what
you should do with the young quarterback last year and
kind of like, this is where you're going with the ball.
And then now they're asking him to read the field
and he can't do it. And he looked like he
(37:58):
looked shell shocked over there on the sideline. Me.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Yeah, bad, bad feet in the pocket and throwing the
ball at the ground.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
And yeah, but the Chief's job in the game.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
He will have a career day against the Chiefs. I
mean we kind of know that.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
But the Chief's job is to make him be the factor.
I mean, if they come out and run the football,
make things simple. He can play action. He can play
action and boot. They can game plan around him and
still get to you know, twenty twenty one, twenty three,
which probably is good enough. Getting up early would help too,
(38:29):
make them, yes, throw the ball.
Speaker 2 (38:31):
Well, I think the Chiefs defense has been exposed a
little bit and they need to the offense needs to
play from the front. For the Broncos, I don't know
why they don't use Harvey more like, I don't know
what because he is electric when they get him in
the open field, and I keep waiting for him to
be the Alvin Kamara and JK. Dobbins to be the
Melvin Ingram, Right, that was the one two punch that
(38:53):
was so effective for Sean Payne. That's what he's trying
to create, and I think he's got it. But they
don't play Harvey, and then when they do, they just
line them up in the backfield. It's like, you know,
you know, run him out the wide out like you
did with Like you.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Know, he's Sean Payton's a veteran coach, so maybe you
can try try it out that thing we use for
Andy Reid sometimes that he wanted to show nothing that
could be yeah, which I frankly I don't. I'm not
much of an advocate of that particular strategy. I think
you got games in front of you got to win,
Otherwise the Chiefs wouldn't be five and four potentially and
(39:27):
be in big trouble. But I'm sure I'm sure there's
some Bronco fans saying that we were saving Harvey, we
weren't showing our hand.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
Kau trying to get bowligible talk about it with Danny Next, more.

Eastern Roofing dot com. Danny, do the Jayhawks get Bowl
eligible this weekend?
Speaker 3 (41:22):
There's probably two questions in this and the answer is
no and no. I don't think they become Bowl eligible
this weekend. And I don't think they become Bowl eligible.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
So you think they lose their last three?
Speaker 3 (41:34):
Yes, I do.
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Why do you hate?
Speaker 3 (41:37):
I don't hate analyze.
Speaker 2 (41:39):
Kyle your thoughts on Danny's hatred of your beloved Jayhawks.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
It sounds like analysis to me. I think there's a
lot of Jayhawk fans that are in this that they're
crossing their fingers. I mean, this is the game. Sure,
Iowa States having an off year, and you know they've
lost some games at home. That looks like a fool's
errand and you tak it could be coming into the
game looking to make the playoffs or at least a
(42:08):
Big twelve title game, and they're good, So this is
the shot. Arizona is vulnerable, but I think they're better
than their record. They've lost two. They lost two disastrously
close games that they absolutely should have won. You know,
they're not great. They're good on both sides of the ball,
but not great. A Jalen Daniels electric day couldn't do it.
(42:30):
But I don't like this one. I think it might
get out the gate. Not optimistic.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
When Ku and Missouri win next week, I'm gonna just laugh.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
You will be laughing in my face, and I will
deservedly take the beating. I will take the beating.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
If I'm wrong. We're not gonna mention it. Oh, just
to be clear.

Okay.
