Bonnie Allison a writer, a doula, dance fitness instructor, human mom and chicken mom. Pizza and sunshine give her life, speed limit drivers, hypocrisy and chipped nail polish make her crazy. Allison says, she somehow didn't find her awesome until her 30s. She is here to hold your hand and your heart (or just stand in your corner, if you're weird about germs) and to help you find yours.
Her heart lives somewhere between Tulsa and Kansas City, among the wildflowers and train tracks and roadside tire shops whose signs boast, "Best Place in Town to Take a Leak." She writes to make the world better, one laugh, one tear, one cracked-wide-open heart at a time.
I met Allison through an online Shine Fitness group and her story and experiences that got her to where she is today, resonated with mine so much and I wanted to hear more about her journey to find her voice. I hope you enjoy Bonnie’s story as much I did.
