Yesterday (Wednesday), city and county councillors received an update on Active Travel in Waterford city.

One element of this was a 'design review' which had been carried out of the Farronshoneen Roundabout and specifically, changes to the approach to this with reduced lanes.

An Post is increasing the price of both national and international stamps from Tuesday, 3 February.

It's been confirmed that the price of a national stamp will increase by 20 cent from €1.65 to €1.85 and follows a 25c rise last February.
