After more than 40 years, the Forum in The Glen, Waterford has been sold.

The sale was confirmed today, January 30th by long-time owner Ciaran O'Neill.

The new owner, a Dublin-based businessman, has not been identified but the sale does ensure the continued operation of the venue's long-running bingo nights.

An Post is increasing the price of both national and international stamps from Tuesday, 3 February.

It's been confirmed that the price of a national stamp will increase by 20 cent from €1.65 to €1.85 and follows a 25c rise last February.
