Over 500 people attended a public meeting yesterday (Monday) evening at the Rhu Glenn Hotel in order to discuss N25 road safety measures.
The meeting was organised by Irish Road Victims Association in partnership with the N25 Waterford to Glenmore Road Safety Campaign Committee to call for changes to be made to the hazardous stretch of road that spans 6.2km between Slieverue and Glenmore.
The stretch of road has caused numerous life-altering injuries, and has claimed the life of 12 people in the last 20 years.
Damien and WLR's Kyle Butler attended the meeting, capturing the passionate, emotional voices of those who are advocating for change, as well as perspectives from local TD's.
