Speaker 1 (00:18):
Everybody. Welcome to today's show. Welcome to Disabled Reality. I'm
your host, Anthony Larrido Duke, and we have a very
interesting topic for today's show. But before we get into that,
I just want to say that from all of us
here I Disabled Reality and Quality of your Rights for
all and advocate information Highway. We wish everybody on the
(00:41):
East Coast that are going through this terrible winter storm
right now with a lot of snow and everything, please
stay saved. Everybody, stay safe, stay warm and stuff. So
we just wanted to mention that. So let's get right
into the topic of today's show, in which it is
(01:05):
everybody seems to be getting an uproar on social media,
like they get offended if somebody puts basically nowadays anything
on their own personal timeline. And here's the thing, ladies
and gentlemen, here's the thing. If you post something on
(01:28):
your timeline and you're not attaching to anybody's name to it,
you're not you're not sending it to anybody in private messages.
You're not going against any community standard or whatever. If
you're just putting something on your timeline that you like
(01:53):
and stuff, nobody else has a right to say anything. Really,
if people out there, here's what a lot of people
really have to understand. If you don't like something that
you're reading, or that you're listening to, or that you're watching,
(02:18):
walk away, go somewhere else. If you see something on
social media that you don't like, scroll past it, move along.
But for people to make all these stupid, idiotic comments
(02:38):
and stuff like that, and you know, people could put
really basically whatever they want on their own personal timeline
as long as they're not tagging anybody in it, as
long as they're not sending things and play private messages
(03:02):
to other people and stuff. If they're keeping adjust on
their own personal timeline, and that's it, they have every
right to do. So if you don't like it, don't
look at it, you know, seriously. And if you could
(03:22):
take if you're going to take that much offense, add it,
unfriend them or delete them from from your friends or whatever.
You don't have to look or hear from them ever again.
But to be acting all kinds of stupid and saying
making all these idiotic comments and everything else, what's nonsense
(03:46):
out Time to grow up, okay, and time to start
to use intelligence. And if you and here's the other
thing in life. We're all gonna hear things and see
things that we don't like. It's a part of life. Okay.
(04:11):
The intelligent thing to do is just move right away
from it, keep walking, keep scrolling by, and that's it.
As long as they're not putting things on your timeline
(04:31):
or sending it to you in private messages and stuff
like that, then you don't have any right to say anything,
you know, honestly so, but it's just amazing that people
make all these idiotic comments and stuff like that. It's
(04:55):
just everybody's entitled to their own opinions and everything, and
that's fine mine. That's what part of a part of
what makes America so great. You know. It's like, I'll
give you a perfect example. Okay, I'm not a religious person,
but I don't take away anybody else's religious rights. But
(05:17):
as long as they don't uh flaunt it in front
of my face, and as long as they don't uh
say say anything to directly to me about it, then
we're good. I see a lot of people's religious beliefs
(05:37):
out there. If I don't like it, I scroll right
by it. It's had nothing to do with me. They're
entitled to their religious beliefs. And that's it. End of story.
I mean, I'm just giving you an example. You know,
I'll give you another example. I have friends that are
(05:59):
Trump support is. I am not a Trump supporter, But
you know, whatever I put out my timeline, I do
not tag them in it. I do not send it
to them in private messages and so on and so forth.
And that's it. And I and I get and I
(06:20):
expect the same respect back. They have every right to
their own beliefs and their lives and whatever. And that's fine.
If I don't like what they post, I scroll right
by it. I scroll right by it. It doesn't offend
me when people start making all these comments about whatever. No, no,
(06:49):
move on from there. You know again, scroll right by it.
But anyway, I want to remind all my fans out
there about my website, I Advocate Information Highway. The link
to there is aih n y dot com. Again, that
(07:12):

check out all the pages on there. And if you
go to the store page of my website, you will
see two links on there. One of those links is
to my Internet store on zassel dot com. If you
