Now he did tell Eve not to eat that apple.
She wouldn't listen to him, and people still don't. Speaking

(03:14):
of birthdays, Michael Maddis, you had a birthday this weekend.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Too, Today Today it's today.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Bump bump, thump thumb, Happy birthday.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
By birthday, I think I had it turned off from
when I interview.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Dear Michael Maddi is happy birthday to you.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
It's not working anyway. I'm trying to do the balloons. Yeah, yeah,
it's not there.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
But thank you, Michael Madis. What are you gonna do
for yourself? Already gone?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
No, just kidding. Nothing, but it's too hot to do anything.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Oh my god, I'm.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Doing a dinner later my two longtime friends.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
We're going out to dinner.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
But other than that, like it's I went and got
my Starbucks drink earlier and that was it. Yeah, so
nothing much, nothing too eventful. Ninety five degrees. You can't you're.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Going to celebrate when the sun goes down. That's the
best time to celebrate.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Well, I'm seeing all the birthday messages. Thanks everybody, look
at that. Oh my goodness, happy birthday. It's mother's day too,
and his mother's day.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
And shout out to all the mothers of children, fur babies,
other people's children, drag children, trans children, bad ask kids
from across the street, everybody, so, Happy mother's day to
all the mothers, and of course especially to my mother

(05:10):
who is in the chat room right now saying hello son, Hello,
hey everyone, and happy Mother's Day to all the mother's.
Happy birthday to Michael. You look so young.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Ye lovely filters are doing their job.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah so, and happy mothers, say to all of our
our people in the chat who are mothers, people who
are watching later, just happy mother's day your mama.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
MHM got our show.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Thank you guys so much for tuning in. This was
the Mother's Day edition of.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
What we Say to Hell with y'all? Say what what
we say to hell with y'all?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
That's it. We just wanted to pop on Live to
say all of that, and then now we're gonna go, well,
let's get on with our show, shall we. What did
we think of? Oh? And R Sally is not here
because she is somebody's mama. Where the kid's godmother, godmother auntie. Yeah,

(06:18):
she's doing something family oriented that has to do with
mama's and we're going to include her. So Happy Mother's Day, Rseli.
And wherever you're celebrating, I hope all of your kids
are celebrating with you. Yes, lass of wine at least later.
Oh trust me, you know she got that glass of wine.
She's like, She's like, do y'all think I'm drunk? And

(06:40):
I'm like, I think you know how to drink responsibly. Yeah, yeah,
that's a better way. Happy Mother's Day, Rsseli. Now back
to business. What did we think of this week's episodes
of Days of a Lass.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
It was a pretty solid week. Yeah, you know, nothing
too extraordinary happen, but that I recall anyway, But it
was a solid week entertaining.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Yeah, I feel like the writing is like jumping off
the page, like the things people have been complaining about
in years past. Like I feel like we're getting those things.
I was me and Michael we're talking earlier. We do
think that the page. I'm interested to see in the
next few weeks if the pacing works out, because a
lot of it is heavy dialogue driven and not a

(07:36):
lot of plot stuff going on right now right now,
So hopefully that like works itself out as like we
transition fully into the new writers like their full storylines.
But yeah, but I'm liking it. It is a lot
of like character heavy, dialogue heavy stuff, which is good,
but it makes it makes But doing something like of

(07:57):
doing the outline this week was hard, like separating like
the different storylines because everyone's in everyone's storyline, so mingling.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, so basically what's nos.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, everybody's nose. A lot of hands in the same
cookie jar. I just got a notification from that fire
app that we were using months ago, and I just
had a little like PTSD reaction.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Oh, like it's so hot brushes, O god please.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
It's over eighty degrees in La, So of course things
are catching fire, you know. Anyway. Yeah, but but I
agree with what what Justin said. We were talking before
the show, but a lot of a lot of conversations happening.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
I will say. By Thursday, I thought to myself, we
could have took today off. I mean, listen, I love
I love coming on and talking day is with y'all.
I love coming on and talking, uh with the with
the fans. I love the group chat and everything like that.

(09:07):
But like I was literally sitting there looking at the screen, going, yeah,
if we wanted to take a day off, we could
have and it would have been fine. There's no shade,
Like we could have talked about whatever happened this week
next week because it's gonna carry over. H Yeah, yeah,

(09:28):
Well shall we get into it? Yeah? Why not? Right? Sure? Sure?
Why else would we gather? We're here medisen, gentlemen, it
is now time to start. Wow, that was on point? Actually,

(09:54):
is it R? Sally? Without you? All right, y'all, let's
start off with our very top storyline, which is the
race for the hospital drug Lord. Where did this story
come from? Yeah, it just came from out of nowhere,
like like I want to be like Jeff is that

(10:18):
his name? Yeah? Is it Jeff Russell? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah. Sir, sir, sir,
where have you been? We have not seen you wander
in the halls of Salem University. We have not heard
one ioda out of you. And now all of a sudden,
it's like you've been in the dungeon working on something
and ain't nobody heard about it? Like not even like

(10:40):
a casual conversation of oh, yeah, doctor Russell is down
there working on that drug. Still, Oh okay, so we
could be like, well, who's doctor Russell.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
This character came out of nowhere. He's probably been working
in his lab since get based on his haircut twenty nine.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Wow not wait here?

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, Actually, I like I like I like this, I
like this actor, and I actually like this character. It's
I was like, oh, the faux hawk, the faux Hawk's back,
but he sells it because it's like silver fox fo hawk.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
M h.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
But yeah, and apparently he and e J knew of
each other, knew each other, and apparently both Demara and
Titan had pharmaceutical divisions. And yeah, I'm like, oh, we're learning,
we're learning a lot this week. I do like, I
do like that they're they're they're using competition for the

(11:38):
you know, who's going to save the hospital and get
the drug.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
But I've intrigued by.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
That catch this though. Hm hm. They had a whole
fundraiser to save the hospital and now all of a sudden,
e J and Xander want to buy that. Like, y'all
couldn't have talked about that before the fundraiser came about.
What was the point of the fun.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
Well the yeah, the part of well, no, the fundraiser.
The way I'm rationalizing it, The fundraiser came about before
they knew that bo had sepsis and.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
They knew that drug was drugg in well e.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
Now that now that they have a family close family
member that needs it and could use it, now that's yeah,
that's how I'm trying to rationalize it, because yeah, it's
all come out of nowhere, And yeah, why didn't anyone
offer to buy the hospital two months ago?

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
What the fun well, funny thing we did get a
small scene and they they did it and then dropped
it really quickly. When Xander actually was talking with Sarah
when this hospital stuff first came up, and he like
casually said like, oh, maybe we'll buy Tighten and then
they kind of like dropped it and then it was
never spoken.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Of again by Titan or the hospital.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
I mean sorry, when he said I'll buy the hospital,
like he said it was like, oh maybe we'll buy
the hospital, like meeting Tighten, and he dropped it like
it was a really small conversation when they were having
dinner one time.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Yeah, but yeah, m hm.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
I was more surprised about I was like, wait what
And then when he explained like he basically he basically
wants to buy the hospital because of the drug essentially,
Like I was like, okay, that makes a little bit
more sense. See, you know, you're you're not trying to
be mister You're not trying to hold up this this
mister nice guy routine anymore. You really want the hospital

(13:29):
for the drug and that's gonna make you rich, and
you know, also save the hospital, which is nice, but
you know the hospital is more secondary to the drug.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Mm hmm. But also, like doctor Russell, you in the
hospital at no point in time did you not hear
that EJ was in the colma? Did you not russell
up to come up there and be like, hey, what
are we gonna do? Wake up?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
They did loosely talk about how he stays in his
his lab and doesn't like to be around people or
doesn't have social skills. So I think that's her way
of trying to explain, trying to explain why maybe he's
just come out of why this character has come out
of nowhere.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
He seems to be talking and doing just fine. Mm hmmm. Yeah,
you're gonna see him and have me believing that. He
mm hmm girl, now mm that don't make no sense.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
Yeah, yeah, it was a little I was here for
Kayla shutting it down at every turn, like, oh yeah,
Kayla was like, no, you're not buying our hospital. Thanks
but no, thanks, see you later. I'll watch his place
crumble to the ground before you.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Right, last worst case scenario, last case.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yeah, Cayla didn't want no part of that. She said, baby, no,
not a e J. Damara. Yeah, thank you, but no,
thank you. But yeah, I mean it's interesting to see
where they're gonna take this and what they're gonna do
with this this new character. Yeah, I mean, I'm just

(15:16):
you know, and especially since EJ was saying how he
wanted to turn over a new leaf and stuff like that,
and how he has a new leash on life and
you know all that, Like is he already resorting back
to evil ways? Like what's the what's the T? EJ?
What is the T?

Speaker 5 (15:32):
Yeah, he turned on kaylea real quick when she said no.
He was like, oh, the real EJ came out and.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
He needed to get somewhere and say down.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
I know, every every moment He's like, it's like, maybe
maybe he needs a rascal.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Sophia is on is on bed rest, and she she
got a whole pregnancy. You were shot and in a
coma and still walking around running errands. You don't go
sit down, sir, sat down.

Speaker 3 (16:05):
I think this. Remember we were before he got shot.
He was talking about his plan. I'm wondering if this
was his play. He they're kind of making it seem
like this was his plan, Like he knew about the drug,
he knew he was going to try to buy the
hospital because he made a comedy, like I was derailed
by that pesky shooting. Yeah, so now I'm starting to
believe that my brilliant theory that he had was responsible

(16:30):
for his own shooting. I'm not believing that anymore. I'm
believing that the plan he was talking about before he
got shot was the hospital's hospital. We just weren't aware
of it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like how Kayla just
is totally on board with I mean, we've known this
about her skirting the rules for and for the for

(16:55):
you know, sake of her family, and like how she
came up the idea of getting what's his face out
of like forcing him to go to wherever that conference
was because Saray didn't want to go, and she was like, oh,
we can get this guy out of here.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
Question. Did anyone figure out what Kayla was doing when
she had that conversation with Steve and she was like, Oh,
I'm gonna I have this meeting to go to. He's like,
all right, well, I'm going to go pick something up
from the cafeteria. You want something, yeah, I'll take an
apple and if I'm not back in time, you could

(17:35):
just leave that apple on my desk. And I was like,
like the whole time I was sitting there, like you
only want an apple, Like you don't want nothing to eat.
I'm like, Steve, what you getting? And then when he
when he came back, he was looking through the files
and stuff and saying, oh, Kayla's very thorough. I was like,
oh that was the food distracted me because I was

(18:04):
literally like, that's what You're gonna put it as your water?
Like you're not gonna be hungry after that meeting, Like
you don't want like like some childer from the from
the from the pub. Instead, like girl, you just want
an apple and you want to put the apple on
the dance so it's just gonna sit out like you know,
you ain't got no little refrigerator in your in your office,
like you just want the animal just to sit there.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
Oh there, Oh funny, precious Tony.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
I I really didn't.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
You're like this writing sucks? Why they have any random
conversation about blood that makes no sense?

Speaker 1 (18:47):
I literally was like, what kind of order is this?
Like what she know? She not hungry like that far.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
Actually, I thought she was just gonna do the whole
you know, I'm gonna I'm gonna leave these files here
on my desk and oh I gotta run out of
the room so you know, don't look wing wing kind
of the thing. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
They did that with somebody, was it Andrew? Andrew did
that with somebody when he was They were in his
office at the is s A and oh yeah, someone
needed to look at some files or something and he
was like, well, I'm going to go get a drink
of water. If I happened to leave my laptop unloa
like opening a lot.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
It probably was.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
It probably was black Patch fucking ship up.

Speaker 5 (19:38):
Excuse me?

Speaker 1 (19:39):
Oh m hmmm.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
So who are we rooting for here?

Speaker 3 (19:50):
Who?

Speaker 5 (19:50):
Who? What are the options here, I guess takes it
over and it seems I mean he's doing it. I mean,
I think the side effect is for Bo in terms
of EJ and the drug and everything, but he really
it's really over rich get rich kind of thing. At
least I think it's andered the same thing. But also
it helps BO. So I mean, I don't know. I

(20:13):
glean more towards Xander. I guess I feel I feel
like he would be hands off with the hospital. I
feel like EJ is you know, you spite him once
and he's gonna take it out on you through the
hospital like that.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
I feel like EJ's doing it for nefarious reasons, and
I feel like, who's you know, nefarious?

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Where is who is that?

Speaker 5 (20:38):
You know?

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Is he somebody else that's in the Salem that's been there?
And like, yes, he's just popping up out of nowhere.
What he got to do.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
He's doctor Russell's you know, lab tech lab partner.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
Oh, miss nefarious Okay.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Mister anyway's doing it for for bad reasons. And the
Titan Xander side they would do, you know, for for
altruistic reasons, good reasons. But yeah, I don't I still
don't trust d J. I don't trust this good good change.
I'm a fucking boy scout now, No, I don't believe it.

(21:18):
I think he's trying to do this. He he has
another plan with it that we're not aware of yet.

Speaker 1 (21:28):
Mm hmmm. So I guess I'm more.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
I'm more on the side of the the do the the,
the do gooders.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Yeah, the day players tap players. I don't know why
that tickles me. You an't need a minute.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
I don't know. I don't know why that's so funny,
and I don't it is not It's not like we
hear it all the time, but every time you see
a video promoting the show, it's like, Hi, where the
day Players? And I don't know why it is.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
It's always so loud to it's like, oh wow, okay.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Now I seem more awake today until I saw that
big old young y'all. I work a lot. Okay, she's tired.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
He's worked, and she's had to go to Beyonce twice
this week.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
At least, still recovering, still recovering.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
That's why my Madonna I took the week off of work.
I was like, Oh, I got the PTO, I'm taking it.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
You went five times.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
I did, and I was up late, up lay all
five nights. So my old ass can't handle that anymore.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
I should have I should have left what she got
in the car Honted. That was a that was a
sign when she got When she gets in the car
and she flies over everybody. I think she was telling
everybody like you should go get in your car, Go
get in your car, because I'm done. Eric Mars be like,
we're the Day Players.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
What do you all talk like?

Speaker 3 (23:18):
You're talking about their Instagram videos?

Speaker 5 (23:20):
Yeah, when they do, like the promo videos. Yeah, they're
all together.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
I'm missing the humor, Like I know what you're talking about.

Speaker 5 (23:30):
I just it's never It starts off very calm, and
then they just screamed the day Players. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Yeah. Like it's like it's like, hey, everybody, how's you going.
We're the Day Players.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
I'll have to pay more attention.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
It's like you'll never forget the band's names.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
Well, I'm like, it's strategic marketing.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Yeah, I feel like.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Hundred Cars for Kids never gonna get that jingle out
of your of your head?

Speaker 1 (24:03):
No, one hundred cars? Oh is it?

Speaker 3 (24:10):
One eight seven seven cars? R S Cars for Kids?
One eight seven seven cars for kids players today.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Sorry, we have derailed anyway.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Whose side are we on? H I think I think
it just votes for Xander Tony.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Whose side are you.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
On in this uh nefarious uh storyline?

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I vote for Daddy Daddy Jack Daddy Jack Russell.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
Jeffrey. I do think, I do.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
I would like them to make him like I think
he's good, like obviously, you know, he's been on soap before.
He actually was on The Bold and the Beautiful. Lauren
Coslo played his mother.

Speaker 5 (25:06):
Oh oh cool.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
She played on The Bold and the Beautiful in the eighties. Yeah,
her character had a kid. They brought the kid back
as an adult in like the late nineties, and they
let her days let her do both shows for like that.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
Yeah, and she did both. Yeah, oh we we They're
going to give them a scene together. I know it
at least something I would hope.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Yeah, and it's probably gonna be that little wink wink,
like I haven't seen you in so long.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
That's I'm curious how these new writers feel about.

Speaker 5 (25:42):
Well, yeah, that's right, that was a ron thing. They
may do it just in a different way, not like
make it like a wing thing. They may actually give
them a storyline or like put her in the mix
or something no one know one.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
This show and Kate, it'll it'll be like, oh this
there they'll have an.

Speaker 5 (26:02):
Affair like that's what he does.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
M m.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
That pub life is gonna get boring for her, you know.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Not that pub life, the pub life.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
But no, like, I like him. I think he has
a presence. I think he has good chemistry so far
with he has good chemistry with Mary Beth and with
Dan and.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, so yeah, yeah he's good.

Speaker 5 (26:28):
The haircut he's a little work, but I can get
past that.

Speaker 1 (26:31):
I think the I think the haircut works for him. Yea,
I think it does. That's just me though. Okay, so
are we done with that storyline? Yeah? Pretty much? Yeah,
all right, Well let's go on to some Emmy Award

(26:53):
winning acting EJ versus Johnny. These I'm sorry, these scenes
that that Dan and Carson have together, like they are
so good. They are so good.

Speaker 3 (27:07):
These like when justin you were saying, like the writing
really pops out, like these scenes in particular, like every
scene that they've had since that whole reveal reveal not
reveal reveal have been like just the way they interact
with each other and the way they react to each
other when they say these things, and Carson's little shit

(27:29):
ass attitude towards him this week, like I felt it
was spot on, like spot on, like really just like
digging into him. Of course, Jen, we know someone was
ment the EJ, so you know, we know whose side
you're on. But yeah, they they definitely you know, are

(27:51):
are those are standout scenes for the week?

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah? Do you like Johnny and standing Tintoe's day on
just being like I don't want you in my life, dude,
Like I'm good on you.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Now we have this weird misunderstanding because EJ was talking
about thinks he shot him, and I think Johnny thinks
he just saw him or he remembers seeing him. So yeah,
EJ's coming from the perspective of I know you shot me,
or he thinks Johnny's the one who shot him.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Yeah, EJ is assuming that Johnny is the one that
shot him based on what he saw in the video,
even though the video cut out and we didn't.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
Actually see ye and go off.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
Johnny is coming at it like knowing I don't think
Johnny shot him, Like even though quite what we saw
in the video, Johnny didn't shoot him. They're clearly we
know how this goes, Like it cut off for a
reason because what we think we're seeing is not actually
what happened. Yeah, but yeah, Johnny is coming from a
place where he just thinks EJ saw him.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
Yeah, and that's it some sort of interaction. We still
haven't seen that part yet, like if like when he
turns around and sees him, like if they have a fight,
if someone else comes in and messes it up, or
that that's a part we're still that they're still keeping
a mystery, I guess.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Yeah, mm hmm.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
I did love though, the Chanel and Ape conversation. Yeah,
it was.

Speaker 3 (29:29):
That was like that day's you know, meaningful there's one
every day now pretty much, and that was that day's
like one where you know, it's I told justin it
was like the full house moment of the episode. But
you know, and and in Paulina and Abe's new new digs.
Yeah it did overnight, but yeah, that was and then

(29:54):
she he gave her some backstory on Lexi and we
got some some history points.

Speaker 5 (30:02):
Yeah, I do. I did like the relating it to
Lexi in terms of going off the deep end and
like remind me, also remind you the audience there related
and she, you know, she was at the mirror too.
This is what happened sometimes when you guys are are pushed,
you know one you.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Know, Yeah, I feel like the point of that was
to give her a little bit different perspective on Johnny's
reaction and how he's reacting.

Speaker 5 (30:30):
And maybe that's the reason.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
You know, she later on, you know, in the week,
she you know, decided maybe not forgive him, but maybe
understand a little bit better why he you know, called
off the adoption and then asked him to ask him
to come home.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
Yeah, it was nice, but also made her think could
he have shot him then? Because hearing hearing how what
Lexi went there was like, oh okay, well could he
Could this have pushed him to the brink of actually
actually trying to hurt his father?

Speaker 1 (31:00):
True?

Speaker 3 (31:01):
And she did ask him. We didn't see the answer though.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
Yeah, and Ape look good too. It was nice to
see James or an if he's.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Been off for a minute.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Yeah, that was and he looked good too.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
You know, I did have a thought, of course, you know,
I pick up on the most trivial things, like Paulina
has been mayor for quite some well acting mayor hmm
for a bit. Why would she liveing in a mayorial
like place?

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Remember Abe had the mayor mansion, and then when he
got with Paulina, he moved into her place, and then
they like forgot about the mayor mansion that they had
that used to be Lexie at Abe's house, you know,
for a while.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Yeah, I mean I feel like they could have bought that.

Speaker 5 (31:49):
With that set back, or they probably destroyed it. It's
been a couple of.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Years, but maybe I'm just glad. I mean, that looks
like more of a place that she should. Yet it's
very fancy, you know, that's a place where you're like,
how would you like your finishes? Would you like a
chrome sink or a gold sink? What do you think

(32:14):
about this fixture? See that it's not called a lamp.
It's an opulence. Yeah, opulence you everything, everything, everything is
yours anyway, Yeah, that was my whole side thing, portionnel.

(32:34):
She is just okay, oh wait, we're not are we there? Yes,
she's just going through it.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Yeah, she did not have a great week. She did
not almost killed Sarah m hmm.

Speaker 5 (32:48):
Well, yeah, that does come up later.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
A little later.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Yeah, it's under the hobby stuff.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
Okay, yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
This is why it was so hard to do the outline.
It was like who do I give this storyline to?
Because e of you were in it.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Yeah, I mean it's funny. You know, we're just we're
just Gavin, we're just talking.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
I I am all for Johnny taking a position at
at zand hit stander.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Yeah, just so.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Tighten it tightened a mirror.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
Yeah, not just to stick it to e J, but
to give Johnny something more to do, like the whole
thing about Like I I appreciated Johnny's like wanting to
be a director, but like, let's face it, what I mean,
how much directing can you do in Salem unless unless
Jennifer comes back to do her talk show again or

(33:47):
something like that. You know, well, what did I say?
Someone's calling me rude anyway, No, but i'd before I
think Johnny would be a good addition to the core
the corporate fold that they've created. Now I think he'd
be He'd be a good good addition and it would

(34:08):
make sense.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
And also I remember this came up a couple of
years ago when what's the name I think EJ was
trying to court Johnny to Demira. There was this talk
of like, oh, you could do like some multimedia stuff.
Maybe you maybe we get into television or movies, like
there's a way to do it in marketing as as
a director does it. Yeah, I don't know if I

(34:30):
want to see like corporate Johnny if that makes sense,
Like keep him who he is, just figure out a
way to implement him into Titan.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
He can be like he can be in the marketing department,
like he can direct photo shoots, or he can direct,
you know, be the art director maybe or or something
like that. He can be for why in our fans,
he can be like the Malcolm Winters Jamar Morri's character
on The Young and the Restless. That's what he did
for Jabo, I think. But like he was like the

(34:59):
creative director person, so that could put it Johnny's role.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
I feel like, you know, they could have, they could
have they could have kept Johnny's filmmaking thing. And just
again it's just a line every now and then, Yeah,
you know, he walks in and he's like, oh, what
a day. Oh I just shot a commercial for little
rinkyding little thing in Hortontown Square people are such you

(35:26):
know what I mean, Like they could have they could
have kept that and they can still keep it, especially
with Titan. He's like, I don't want to go to
the corporate side, but let me work in marketing and
help with like videos and like social media content and
you know, and all that kind of stuff.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
I thought they paid a little too much attention to,
like Alexander's trying to get it EJ by hiring John like,
I'm sure it's gonna it did what we saw. It
annoyed EJ and kind of pissed them off. But but
there's no like Vendetta, you know what I mean. They
made They were trying to make it sound like it
was like this is like, you know, another part of
the war or something. It was like, I don't think

(36:04):
Xander cares that much. I just think he I think he.
I think he likes knowing, like he said, having a
Demira on the tight inside will help to strengthen things.
But also if it pisses off EJ, that's like a
little bonus.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
It's not it's like the cherry on top. Yet.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
Yeah, I don't think he's trying to start like some
new war with EJ. I don't think he cares that much.
It was just like, Okay, this is a little you know,
I can I can hire Johnny and piss ej off
like win win here.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
So you want to be starting something. So you want
to be starting some got to be starting something, didn't didn't. Yeah,
well in the words of Forrest Gump, that's all I
have to say about that. Yeah, let's see. Oh one

(36:54):
last thing. Marlene said, Babe, I need to talk to
you about Bell. And I wanted to be like, Marlena
Bell has grown. Yeah, like, you can't be going over
to the man who is doing things to her, talking
about I need to talk to you about your grown
daughter who was grown enough to make her decisions.

Speaker 3 (37:18):
The thing is she went there to do that and
then immediately.

Speaker 1 (37:21):
Left, well because check came in. She was like, baby,
you can't hear this. You can't hear it grown, This
is grown, folks. She immediately exercige left. She said, yeah,
perhaps some other time. M Yeah. I was like, oh,

(37:41):
like like y'all couldn't go into other rooms? Yeah that
are available. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
She was kind of easy on him, like I guess,
considering his considering the stuff with Johnny, considering the stuff.
He's still recuperating.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
There was.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
She just wanted to tell like, stay away. She wants
to scream, stay the hell away from my daughter, but
she knows that that's not gonna happen. So it's like,
I've got to deal with it.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
I had to chuckle because Marlena had a line this
week about Xander and Sarah about how oh yeah, Xander
and Sarah deserve.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
You know, a week and away.

Speaker 3 (38:19):
I'm like, girl, this is the man that shut your way.
I was like, we're just for that's just under the rug, now, okay.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
I had that reaction to when she started talking. I
was like, okay, Marlene is cool with Xander. I guess,
like you know, I mean, it's not won over.

Speaker 3 (38:35):
I mean, you know, people I guess have done worse things.
And you know, serial killer Ben yeah, you know, was
Marlene's bff. So I you know, I guess people have
done worse things and have been recuperated or reforgiven whatever.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
M Yeah.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
Marlena was about to cuss him out, but not in
front of Chad because Chad can't hear that.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
She said, I'm gonna excuse myself. Beautiful gowns, Beautiful gowns.
I'm gonna I'm gonna excuse myself on this. And it
was literally just when they were about to start talking.
Chad walks, Yeah, exactly. Maybe we'll talk about this. Marlinta, Yeah,

(39:28):
Evans Black, Rob Shallow.

Speaker 5 (39:30):
Her stuff with Johnny's been good too. It's nice. It's
not it's it's it's a little bit of the grandmother
stuff we had with well, not the same scope, but
it's nice to see like her take that position again
because we had it. Really we've seen it a little
bit with Johnny over the years, but not I feel
like it's been consistent with this storyline, having them having
them together a lot.

Speaker 1 (39:50):
In her like checking in and stuff understanding because I
let him talk things out. Yeah, although I feel like
Johnny's just a broken record and it's like.

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Yeah, and when he turned around and left and stash
it out and was like, have a good rest of
your day a little bit, I like that. I like that.

Speaker 5 (40:14):
Okay, I did too.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
It's like I'd like, yeah, we love a petty.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Patty plays it very plays it very well. The one thing,
while we're on the subject of Marlene, and I told
Justin this before we started the show, what's disjointed about
this change is that she and Steve were all about
traveling around the world trying to save John playing you know,
avengers or whatever, and then suddenly it is they are home.

(40:40):
It is business as usual. She is back to the
office and like, oh yeah, they'll they'll handle it storyline,
and he's focused on Bo and getting the drug for Bo,
and it's like, Okay, this is interesting. I'm curious why.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
It may be that at the point the new writers
came in, they had to change, like maybe there was
a track and they had something happened and they had
to be like, okay, we need to pause for a
moment while we figure things out. And then you know,
but yes, pretty much like that's what Johnson good hands
with the saying, Lol, that's pretty much what The vibe

(41:23):
is a little odd, but you know, I'm sure it'll
come up again.

Speaker 1 (41:31):
Just be a fan, Just be a fan with open
arms like me. Mhm. AnyWho, Well, that's it with that storyline, right,
mm hmmm. I think so. All right, let's move on
to where in the world is Leo investigating reporter m

(41:55):
h m hm. Leo is on the case, But I
also just need to like not let people know that
he's on the case. Yeah, talk less, talk way less.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
I agree about everything. Really, just just say less.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
Yeah, don't openly accuse the people who allow you to
live there in the house with them, Like maybe maybe
a little stelp about about accusing them of murder and
going after them. Mm hmmm.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
The one that has already expressed very, very a lot
of discontent about the situation.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
And everybody is almost like people who are on that
list he has a thing against in some way. Gabby.
You know it's like you can listen, you can open
up your own investigations and even keep your own whiteboard,
but you have to separate your feelings how you feel
about somebody. Yeah, this is Yeah, don't be sloppy. If

(43:01):
you're gonna be nosy, don't be sloppy. Like no one
should have called him with the purse. No how you
get called with the person on the phone, Like you
knew she was just in another room. She wasn't like
in the shower. When you have a little bit more time.

Speaker 5 (43:14):
Yeah, this is losing a little steam for me though,
Like this is basically like who the who shot EJ? Storyline,
And it's like, Okay, he thinks it's Johnny, so he's
not pressing everything.

Speaker 1 (43:26):
We're not.

Speaker 5 (43:26):
We're seeing a little bit of Jada in a sean,
so like you know, we're not seeing them pursue it
so much. It's like, okay, there are more. Whenever it
comes up, it's like, oh, is it Johnny. Everyone's wondering
if Johnny Bird, if Johnny.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
Shan We all we all know it's not Johnny. Yeah,
we all know. If you know, it's gonna pop up
out of the blue, yep, So it's not Johnny. Not yet.
We're not there yet. They still want to stretch this out.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
I mean, you know, I don't think it's any of
the suspect we've been talking about.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
Yeah, it would.

Speaker 3 (44:03):
Be interesting if they did make it one of the
obvious and when all of a sudden done, if it
ended up being one of the obvious suspects.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Yeah, but well we'll see. Yeah, tune in everyone, Leo
and Hobby, Like, girl, where did your medical training all
of a sudden come from? Like this whole time, the
whole time, the whole time, the whole time, like and
then now you just feel so humble about it.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
Like, well, I you know, I knew as soon as
soon as Hobby came up and started checking her vitals,
I was like, Okay, now we're gonna okay, now we're
gonna gonna get Hobby a little bit of Hobby backstory here.
You know, he's been talking, you know, the conversation started
like he was not happy, not really happy working for Gabby.
Is the vibe they had had that Leo and him
and had the conversation about it. And then you know,

(44:54):
seeing how he reacted to Sarah was taking her vitals.
Does she have an EpiPen? I'm like, he must have been.
It took me back to like JJ and I'm like, okay, oh,
he must have been a Hobby, must have been an
e m T. And then it, you know, came out
that he was an EMT fighter. Fighter fight excuse me,
fire your fight. Tr There's there's another part of that
EpiPen thing, which I'm sure we want to talk about.

Speaker 5 (45:17):
Later, but part of it.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
Now now we're getting his backstory and like I remember, okay,
so did we don't know like his what's his face?
Leo was googling him, but we didn't see what he found.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Right, No, he's just he's just starting to do the
initial search. So yeah, we don't know.

Speaker 3 (45:40):
Just maybe there was an incident that you know, because
now the question is, okay, why did Hobby abandon that?
And he's being all humble about it, So there was
probably an incident.

Speaker 5 (45:53):
Yeah, I was. I instantly went to like gabe ashing
or discrimination or something like that. But maybe it's something
soacious like That's why that's where I immediately went to
because it seemed very it seemed like traumatic whatever. It
was not just like oh I lost interest or you know,
or maybe someone died or something.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
That's what I was thinking, that maybe someone died on
his watch and it just affected him in the way,
or you know, the ant died, is he's there because
the whole how did it all start? Like didn't an
ant pass away his mother? Oh yeah, maybe maybe that's why.

Speaker 5 (46:29):
Maybe maybe like he didn't save her or something.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
Maybe hm hm that makes sense.

Speaker 5 (46:37):
That could be good.

Speaker 1 (46:37):
Yeah, hm hm hmm.

Speaker 3 (46:44):
But it was in Texas, so I wouldn't put Justin's
you know, gay.

Speaker 5 (46:49):
Like of the like firefighter. It's very like heteronormative environment
and very depending on where you're at, could be a
bit talks depending yeah.

Speaker 1 (47:03):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
No, I mean he said, like, did he do did
he do a fire firefire porn?

Speaker 1 (47:11):
No? Missedic circle.

Speaker 5 (47:13):
See, that would be interesting if he got fired because
he was doing yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
Because I mean Leo already asked him if he had done, like,
you know, a beefcake firefighter calendar, and he said.

Speaker 5 (47:23):
No, but maybe he had.

Speaker 3 (47:25):
Maybe he didn't do a calendar, maybe he did a full.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
On yeah in his uniform. Was was in.

Speaker 3 (47:34):
Like Stephanie wanted to.

Speaker 1 (47:37):
Watch or a copy of One Stormy Night Stephane.

Speaker 3 (47:43):
Stephanie said, no, I don't want to watch the notebook.
I want to watch the Nutbook, you know what.

Speaker 1 (47:49):
Moving forward, and then Gabby is still at the top
of the list because now Raife was like, so you
took my service gun and shot EJ. Yeah, that was
oh my girl. All the all the old girls are sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.
And how come no one ran into each other at
this the Mayor mansion trying to shoot one man.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
M We know.

Speaker 3 (48:14):
They didn't run into each other, but she said she
saw Eva leaving or whatever.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Getting on that plane. Ava said, ain't nobody got time
for this. H I'm out. So there's that. Was there
anything else? To this storyline. Mm hmm that we did
not cover nothing.

Speaker 3 (48:39):
Nothing stands out to me right now.

Speaker 1 (48:40):
Yeah, all right, well, ladies and gentlemen, we are just
wheezing through. I think after this, I need to go
turn this AC on because it is so hot and
I feel like as it gets hot, like my body
is just like.

Speaker 5 (48:57):
You're like Bimbi.

Speaker 3 (48:58):
When Bimby gets hot, he does not want to do
anything old.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
Steam and I'm just like pushing through and I'm like,

l J. James Junior is the oldest person I know
who remembered when the first birthday was celebrated.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
The first birthday New Moro.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
In fact, he told me he's the one that came
up with birthday decor. Oh started making uh cake. It
was a sheet cake. It was a sheet stone with
with with frosting. Yep, hm hmmm, yep.

Speaker 3 (50:29):
So he also came up with the sheet cake.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
Mm hmmm. It's just a sheet of cake.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Sheeta cake.

Speaker 5 (50:36):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (50:37):
Costco is paying him a royalty.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
He didn't make it that because he didn't make a
deal with mister wonderful. I ain't gonna turn this acy
on Jesus, Jesus, Oh my god. This is all right,
y'all talk about some growings with Sophia and Tate talk

(51:04):
about yourself. Well, I go do it? Okay?

Speaker 3 (51:12):
So wait where are we at? Okay? So Sophia's bedridden
for the remainder of her pregnancy or modified bed rest.
Doug has moved into Doug moved into the pub room
that Ava had vacated, and it's not working the pub

(51:32):
Holly and what's his face?

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Tate?

Speaker 3 (51:37):
Where it seemed to be having like not a reconciliation,
but like having a conversation, but then he was fixing
something came out, saw Holly and Doug hugging, and is
now back to.

Speaker 5 (51:55):
Actually completely lost it and yeah what else?

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Oh, and the the adoption is still off yep, and
they're oh and they decided that since she's going to
be eighteen when the baby's born, they can do whatever fuck.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
They want, which I mean, I think they brought that
up before, but the consensus was, of course, she doesn't
want to defy her mother. And also I think it
was stated before. I think like she's worried about her
mom not paying for college or the parents not paying
for college. Just I feel like that was they mentioned

(52:30):
that earlier.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
That was it was gonna be there was gonna be
no support from her parents or her mom if she
you know, uh uh uh or got to but yeah,
she like stood on her own and the adoption anyway.

Speaker 5 (52:47):
Yeah, but it's like also, I mean, you have, like
someone mentions before, like, Okay, Paulite is filthy, rich, Brady
has money. All these people who would have like I
thought that was going to come into the mix and
the storyline of like someone's saying originally, actually I can
say this now because it apparently is not gonna happen.

(53:07):
I thought it was gonna be we were gonna get
a Ava takes in Sofia and then they were like
this mother daughter pair kind of thing. That's what I
thought this storyline was going originally when they had her
pregnant and like the scenes with av and stuff, that's
where I thought this was going. But but yeah, they.

Speaker 3 (53:25):
Did make a point to develop a relationship between Ava
and Sophia, and then.

Speaker 5 (53:32):
And then she was Brady, He's father. Like I thought
that's that was gonna all sort of coat mingle together,
but it didn't.

Speaker 1 (53:42):
Yeah, I feel like this weird just being around the
world and a ya ya, we just keep going around
in the same circle with this storyline. She pregnant, then
he still has Phillis with Holly, then Holly does something,
he goes attention tantrum and then goes back to.

Speaker 3 (53:59):
Sofa and it's like, this is getting tired.

Speaker 1 (54:04):
Been around the world and na ya yai, I can't
find my baby. Man, I don't know, and I don't
know why.

Speaker 5 (54:12):
Still liking Doug.

Speaker 1 (54:15):
Yeah, we all love Doug. Yeah it's the same for
him too.

Speaker 5 (54:20):
But I'm hoping that they start expanding his character a
little bit now to like get like the holly stuff
is nice. I think him and actually of great chemistry.

Speaker 1 (54:29):
But they did, they did expand his storyline. They made
him homeless. Well not anymore. Now he's gotta he's.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
Got a room over there, he's got a job, he's
got his own apartment.

Speaker 1 (54:42):
I don't know why everybody ends up working at the
Brady Pub.

Speaker 5 (54:45):
Mm hmm. Because Roman.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
Roman's got a heart, you know, he because he takes Yeah,
he's got a soft spot for the strays.

Speaker 1 (54:58):
Miss m hmm.

Speaker 3 (55:00):
Doug gonna be the hot employee.

Speaker 1 (55:04):
Oh that's what.

Speaker 5 (55:04):
That's why Roman hired him to try in business.

Speaker 3 (55:08):
Yeah, exactly to get some of that some of that
young uh yeah, him in a tight T shirt and
uh like Hamburger Mary style and say.

Speaker 5 (55:16):
A Brady Pub with no shirt, just the Brady or
Brady apron, I mean with no shirt.

Speaker 3 (55:21):
Like Brady Pub after dark pub after dark pub, after dark.

Speaker 1 (55:29):
Get your get your chowder clammed, Oh, get your clam chowdered.
You mean no, you don't want to get it chowdered. M.
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (55:48):
Listen, whatever what get you off.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
Anyway? Is there anything else that's it? Right, not the
gay hooters. All right, Well, let's move on to Philip's
friend tour or his apology tour to everybody. I think
that was really big of him. I do feel bad

(56:13):
for Philip. I really I think that who was he
talking to? Was it Stephanie? When you I feel like
they all at some point in their life wanted Victor's

(56:36):
validation and acceptance, and I don't think anybody ever really
got it. I think everyone was on the cusp of
getting it, but I don't think anyone really got it.
And so I feel for Philip because again, he wasn't
trying to get the half of this company in a

(56:57):
malicious for militia intent. He'd wanted to do something that
would make Victor proud. And I think whether you know
Xander wants to see it in this way. I think
them working together and including Alex and just Victor being
able to look down from the portrait and see them

(57:20):
like making moves like this, including getting Demera, I think
that's more important than how it came about. I think
you can be upset about that, for sure, but again,
like I keep saying, like, look at what came from that.

Speaker 5 (57:36):
Yeah, yeah, I'd also like to see them get to
a point where maybe they look at it like our
dad was fucked up, like maybe we.

Speaker 1 (57:46):
You know what I mean, maybe justin Lee Harrol.

Speaker 3 (57:49):
Victor also, you know you were talking about them not
getting acceptance. Victor didn't make it easy. Yeah, anytime they
made the littlest and sometimes they were big, big f bos,
like he would retaliate against them or like take away
take away any power he's given them, or or shame
them or whatever. Victor did not make it easy. So yeah,

(58:09):
kind of they should be reveling in the fact that
they are able to work so well together as a team.
And and yeah, okay, Xander has a right to be
a little miffed about it all transpired. But even at
the end of the day, I think Xander's Xander will
come to realize as long as Philip keeps behaving we
put that little asterisk on it, As long as Philip

(58:32):
doesn't do anything else to undermine Xander, I think Xander
is going to come around. He seems even minded, even
like even minded, stable minded enough now to realize that eventually. Yeah,
But again, as long as Philip doesn't pull any any
anything else.

Speaker 1 (58:53):
Yeah, I think I think he can get a pass
just for this one thing, though, I really do, I really,
you know, And I.

Speaker 5 (59:03):
Liked we saw softening of Stephanie there where it was like, Okay,
I understand you a little bit more. It was also
nice seeing it come from Bell and we see we've
seen them have that conversation a few weeks ago too,
But it was nice to I mean, she was she
had a first front row seat of how you know,
Victor was with Philip growing up, and if anyone will

(59:24):
understand sort of where he's coming from, it's her and
the mistakes they made even together. So yeah, I like that.
It was there was some forgiveness there.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Definitely Philip's lucky that Vivian backed off.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Yeah, Vivian dropped the bomb and then she said goodbye,
yeah a back, see you later, along with Sammy mm hmm.
But I mean, you know, I think I think these
scenes with him apologizing to Stephanie, with him apologizing to Belle,

(01:00:06):
it really just kind of I just don't I don't
see how anybody can be upset with Philip. I think
this is one of those situations where like, yes, it's
you're you're wrong for what you did and your part
in it. But I think it's very redeemable because again,
whether there wasn't a malicious intent, and I think both

(01:00:30):
Stephanie and Bell saw that.

Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
They're realizing that. Yeah, And I think, you know, like
I said, I think Xander will come to realize that too.
Now will he feel the same way when he finds
out that Sarah knew.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
Yeah, that's that's gonna be the big one.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
I think, Yeah, I'm aging to see how they're gonna
play that out, how they're gonna choose to play that out.

Speaker 1 (01:00:54):
I feel like as long as he has that understanding,
because she's gonna look at him and go And I know,
like us and fans have gone back and forth about this,
but I just truly believe if Sarah had went and
told him right off the bat, he would have made
a stupid decision. Probably he would have, and she would

(01:01:18):
have literally looked at him like, you dumb Neanderthal. Why
do you have half a NAT's brain?

Speaker 3 (01:01:26):
Half a nance rain?

Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Michael Maddis, have you ever been to Wilmington for donuts?

Speaker 5 (01:01:35):
Not on the weekend?

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
No, No, there you are in Wilmington, Delaware. We did
having donuts and the car gets stolen. Now, anyone would
have a NAT's brain would have called it. But you
all know you and your friends go all the way

(01:01:57):
to Baltimore, all the way to Baltimore. So good, isn't
that what you did? Michael Maddis? Did you have big fun?
Michael Maddis sure? Now tell us how is it that
you didn't get in to the wretched and the big fun? Well?

Speaker 3 (01:02:20):
We fun. You have taken us to levels of worry concern,
and now that we know you're okay, rage, Rudy, go
to bed.

Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
We are such a mess. Anyway, find you a friend
that knows all the classic lines and can like follow
up with you. For all I know, you could be
lying to us right now, thought a bad no. My
favorite is can I just have my punishment? And so

(01:02:56):
we are too time to give you your punishment now,
but I'd like to have it before I go to bed. Anyway,
back to days, all right, So I think we're done
with Phillips Apology tour, right, yeah, all right? People are
going to start thinking like they they derailed from the show.

(01:03:17):
So much kind of show is this? It's a fun show.

Speaker 3 (01:03:22):
We're allowed to have a you know, we're.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
Allowed to have big fun on the stream yard. Isn't
that what we're having, Michael Madison justin Lee Harrell, isn't
that what we're having? The big fun.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
I will one when more comment they Xander mentioned Bo.

Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
And you were going to say, when we're comment.

Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
Going to another monologue. Yes, it didn't click to me
that that now Xander and Bow are brothers.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
Yeah, that didn't click to.

Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
Me before, but Xander brought it up. I wonder if
you know, we know that Bo is coming back, if
we're going to get if their brother relationship is going
to be a I hope so, I hope it's not
just a very like Bo and Hope centric reunion or
time or guest spot or whatever it is.

Speaker 5 (01:04:16):
However long we have them.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
Well, all these people who are helping him live, he better.

Speaker 5 (01:04:21):
I don't go on and go on his own go
on his own.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
Tour.

Speaker 5 (01:04:25):
Yes, thank you for seeing and her Rainbow tour.

Speaker 1 (01:04:29):
Yeah, h all right, let's travel on over via ambulances
to Harvey hernandez e m t okay, I'm sorry. Who

(01:04:51):
else had problems with this scene?

Speaker 5 (01:04:53):
Yes, this was when it was a bit clunky. I
was like, oh, the writing is so sharp here on
this one.

Speaker 1 (01:04:59):
No, Okay, First of all, Sarah is a doctor. Xander
is married to Sarah. Yes, you don't know that your
wife is like allergic to things to where she walks

(01:05:22):
around with an EpiPen. You don't know that it.

Speaker 5 (01:05:26):
Wouldn't be the first one to grab it or.

Speaker 3 (01:05:29):
No, no, no, wait, he did know because Harvey Hovey asked,
asked somebody if there was an EpiPen, and someone said, yeah,
it's in her person.

Speaker 5 (01:05:36):
He didn't know, but like, keep like, why aren't you
doing it?

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
The like he seemed like exactly what. So it can't
be his defense can't be that he didn't know. But
then Sarah herself.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
Should have known too.

Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
She should have been preaching for it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):
I understand when you're in that moment, she's probably panicking,
but wouldn't she She had enough strength still to like, Yeah,
it was clunky.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
Because because when when Hobby came over and did what
he did and was like, oh, she's an epilogic shop,
she went, I'm like, girl.

Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
Yeah, they could have tweaked that a little bit or
like set the scene differently a little like maybe Xander
was in the bathroom or maybe he was like you
know what I mean, like it was, and then they
kept talking about how everyone knows she's allergic to pistachios,
even even Chanelle. And then I'm like, well, why does
Xander Why why would he even jump in with the fppa,

(01:06:36):
Like why wouldn't you recognize this as an allergic reaction?
Or she's saying something tastes different that that usually is
the clue of someone having some sort of reaction video.

Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
And also wouldn't the pastry look so different so that
you can easily tell like the difference.

Speaker 5 (01:06:54):
I don't think she was saying it was the milk.
It was pistassio milk, so that's really was but like
you wouldn't have seen that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
I guess that's just weird. Yeah, that's yeah. There was
also something else I was thinking about, and I can't
remember now what it is.

Speaker 5 (01:07:15):
It's funny because it seemed like a huge thing just
to get them to stay in town. Like I guess
that was the point of it, because I was like, what, oh,
keep Xander and Sarah in town as opposed to going away,
But it was like, okay.

Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
It was okay, Yeah, it was to keep Sarah and
Xander in town. But then also to start off the
hobby Yeah, yeah, or Folicity got screamed that, or I'm
saying the Felicity revenge plan which he shoots in Murder
Xander six months from now because Felicity pops a cap and.

Speaker 5 (01:07:52):
Then setting up the Xander murder mystery that's gonna happen
eight months from now.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
It sweeps and I was like, I want to go Za,
you can't you you can't. You can't be talking to Felicity. Yeah,
don't say nothing. Also, can we not when we do
scenes like that, please have background just nowhere in the
shot because it was one of those things where you

(01:08:23):
felt no one rushing mm hmmm. It's like help help
someone called ninety one one, And literally there's someone standing
in the back in the shot like this.

Speaker 5 (01:08:40):
Right, no one's reaching for their phone, no one.

Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
No one's no one's reaching for for a phone. No
one is like, no one's doing this, like like like
you know there, you know you see them doing this,
you know, help help someone called nine one one. Yeah,
like like none of that, Like we just we're just
gonna we're just gonna stand there and and just and

(01:09:02):
talk about what's happening at least, you know what, And
my thing is that if you're gonna have them do that,
then at least have them recording. People don't help, Yeah
that tracks just have a recording. So that way they're
just not standing there because even because then even Kat

(01:09:27):
and Chad, I know, it looks like it looks like
something wrong with Sarah. It's like wrong.

Speaker 5 (01:09:35):
What I crackled at was when Cat was like, let
me go find a doctor. I was like, find a
doctor's going to like one one. She's like town Square
for a doctor, like yelling like do we have a
doctor here now? Okay, let me go to the next
door next door.

Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
I just I just feel like it needs to feel
I feel like a little like a little chaotic. Yeah.
It was a little, but not so much. It was
a little too calm.

Speaker 5 (01:10:11):
It was like, well it was this, but it was
sort of like they telegraphed like they were waiting for
something i e. Hobby in Leo to enter the scene.
It was like, we got four let's let's all look
panic and not do anything, and then he can come in.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
Right, you froze for a second, Okay, Yeah. Yeah. It's
like but all that could have been, like.

Speaker 5 (01:10:36):
Yeah, they could have cra Hobby and Leo into the
scene a little earlier and still yeah and yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
It could have been like like it could have been
you know, obviously you know Xander and Sarah just sitting
there and maybe even her just like you know, taking
a minute and like and then she finally bites and
then she's just like, oh, you know, and then you know,

(01:11:04):
let let them play it out. It was like, Sarah,
what's wrong? Cat and Chad noticed, but when they noticed,
it should be like, is everything okay? I don't know,
and then get up and rush over and then have
someone ex and be like let me call nine one
one and then that signals hovey and oh my god,
what's going on? And then let Hobby come in. It
just needed to feel yea quicker like beat beat be beat.

(01:11:28):
It felt like this. It felt like, you know Sarah,
then Xander, Oh no, Sarah, what's wrong?

Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
Then?

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
Is there something wrong with Sarah? Yes, bitch, there is.
She's over here coughing and hacking up her life. Then
Leo and Hobvey do do do do do doude? Does
someone say Sarah is something wrong with Sarah? What shall
we do? It just yeah, just needed to pick up
the past. So that it so that even us as

(01:12:02):
the audience felt like, oh you know, oh my god,
Like I felt like I kept concentrating on like why
is why is everyone moving so slow?

Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
Constracting on the lack of reactions instead of the actual
event taking place.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
Yes, like geez, Louise, let's go people, there's an emergency,
and not Leo trying to cash in on it talking
about let's be to like we forgot water and then go, oh,
by the way, can we have a yacht?

Speaker 3 (01:12:32):
But you have That's what I'm saying, Like Leo stopped talking.

Speaker 5 (01:12:37):
I did check at Xander when Sarah was a group ready,
and he was like, I want to send a fruit basket,
but it's at homophobic. I did chuckle at that. It
was like, oh I don't want to see homophobic though.

Speaker 1 (01:12:50):
Was that okay, oh my god, fruits for my fruits,
thank you, I tell you who. One going back down though,
was Felicity. I'm doing my best here Listeny was like,
bab look this bakery is busy. Okay, I'm over here
doing my best. I got school, I just won a

(01:13:13):
go meting gymnastics. Baby, I'm over here trying. Don't you
idiots together? Who keep making googly eyes at each other.
I'm running to the bakery for Chanel. She'd have lost
the baby. Well, speaking of, let's go, let's go to that,
shall we? For the love of God, just go out already? Jeez,

(01:13:37):
this is on my nerves so bad.

Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
So I'm not even not even rooting for him anymore.
I'm like the luster has passed for these two.

Speaker 1 (01:13:52):
In the amount of time Chad and Cat have been
courting each other, Chad had a whole relationship with Ef.

Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
Like beginning, middle finish like in that time.

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
And Cat is still bre We passed that part. We
are past the coy part. We are we are at
the part of baby, what are we doing? Yep? Are you?
Are we going out?

Speaker 5 (01:14:23):
And did not need a whole episode about what to
do on this date that we should see.

Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
We should have seen the date by now, honestly, like
by like at least since since Chad took over the
date or whatever, there's been a day change.

Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
They love. But also these are people who sit down,
They've been like planning everything, so they're they're essentially have
been dating without dating, you know, Like, what's the difference,
Like you you're sitting down having breakfast talking right now,
like this could be the day you're you know, you've
been planning this fundraiser that made eighteen dollars, but for

(01:15:01):
six weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
Y'all know. The feelings are there, They've been there forever.
If you're gonna do something, do it. If you not,
then let it go. Yeah, jeez, I'm over it. I was.
I was actually more excited when she was about to
go out with EJ.

Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
That that would have put a nice little wrench into Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
I was like, Oh, let's let's okay, I'm here for this,
let's see how this goes. And then here come Chad.
You're not You're not going out with her. You're not
you know, mm hmm you're not. What's your It's like,
why are you so? Why are you concerned about it?

(01:15:43):
Look at this?

Speaker 5 (01:15:44):
Watch?

Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Get on my nerves?

Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
Mmmm?

Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
And something needs to change with these two y Yeah, please,
no writers, inject something we're rooting for you, make us
pull of Tyra Banks on you.

Speaker 1 (01:16:13):
Yeah. Mh I'm like, what is? I literally was sitting
next week thinking like I can't believe I'm still watching
these two firs with each other.

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
It's like they're having the same conversation. With different words
over and over and over and over and yeah, stupid
it was thirty five.

Speaker 5 (01:16:39):
Please like together, Yeah, go have sex, like work out
this tension.

Speaker 3 (01:16:48):
Yeah, exactly, we're at that point. They need to bypass
the date and go right, go get go, get a
dirty movie from Stephanie and you.

Speaker 5 (01:17:03):
Know who borrow the manuscript?

Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
Borrow the manuscript or yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
Anyway, let's move on to our next tidbit, which is
fifty Shades of Stephanie.

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
Still not understanding where this is going or is it
like a career change for Stephanie or are they like
eating up tight and stuff so they're just throwinger in.

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
Granted, here's the thing she did not seek out being
a writer. Yeah, Alex found it and took it. That
was like a few years ago Stephanie who was like,
I'm gonna write a book and then she just never
did anything with it. Now he's trying to add like
it's it's it's so good, it's better than slice bread,

(01:17:55):
Like he woke up early that morning to like read it.
But you know, there's a part of me that's also
like this days this would have been a great marketing
thing to come out with a non fiction book called
One Stormy Night. M m m m.

Speaker 3 (01:18:16):
Well, do you remember the one of the primetime specials
was yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
Yeah, that's what everybody keeps saying. Yeah, but now to
have a physical book, even if it was just a
picture book something, what.

Speaker 5 (01:18:27):
Kind of pictures the stormy night.

Speaker 3 (01:18:32):
Iven the subject matter.

Speaker 1 (01:18:38):
I guess we'll see how this plays out.

Speaker 3 (01:18:39):
Yeah, yeah, I'm just I'm trying to figure like I'm
I am intrigued by it, but yeah, I'm not sure
where it. I'm not sure where it's going, but I'm intrigued.

Speaker 5 (01:18:49):
By it a little bit. And I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
I always appreciated when they make the female characters kind
of horn doggie. I was trying to remember who was
the one that always wanted to Sierra Sierra. It was Sierra,
with Ben like, well, it's like I kind of appreciate
the females being the horn dogs. And that's kind of
like she was like, no, I don't want to watch

(01:19:13):
the notebook. I want to want some more. I was like, oh,
she wants to load up some porn hub and porn
hub and chill okay.

Speaker 5 (01:19:23):
And I was surprised that she didn't get angry at
him when he said he had read found it and
read it, and I thought she would. I thought it
would Initially she would be pissed about that, like, you know,
don't read my property, How dear? Are you kind of
a thing? But no, she just kind of it, which
was nice.

Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
Yeah, we didn't have another voicemail or phone call.

Speaker 5 (01:19:43):
Yeah exactly because didn't bring it out.

Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:19:47):
Yeah, this wasn't used as a flimsy excuse to get
to break them up. Yeah for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:19:56):
Yeah, I liked them together. But Stephanie and als Fan,
I just don't know what this. I don't know what
the genesis of this storyline is. Is it just give
them a fun couple storyline? Or is this her as
a new writer? Is this in storyline? You know it's
gonna be something. I don't know, but I guess we'll see. Yeah,
I'm curious to see where it goes.

Speaker 1 (01:20:18):
Yeah, me too. I mean he is all for it,
and he said he's they want to play out one
stormy night.

Speaker 3 (01:20:25):
H they were having. Was this not a workday for them?
That's what That's what I eventually start thinking about. I'm like,
what time do you all? What time is it supposed
to be? There are people out living and Sarah's almost
dying and you're all in the bedroom fucking like. It's
like which respect you know what if you can work

(01:20:45):
from home and you know, get away with that and
then then be like, well I gotta hop on the zoom.

Speaker 1 (01:20:52):
Well it was it was late. Mm hmmm, it was late.
So all right, well that was your week of days
and now it's time for our favorite part of our show,

(01:21:13):
which are our segments, and we're gonna start with mine,
which is Tony's official Three Snaps Award. All right, so listen,
My three Snaps Award goes to the new apartment. Because

(01:21:36):
as I was thinking about it, I said, you know what,
it's almost like I was like sitting on the couch
like like looking around at it, like okay, yeah, this
seems more Paulina. Now, yeah, I like it. I like
it a lot. Yeah. Yeah, this is brand new, so

(01:21:58):
to talk, I'm Early and his crew, who are in
charge of the production designs kudos on the brand new apartment.
You get Tony's official but he's an abso war. Yeah.
I felt like like comparing the two now, I'm like,

(01:22:18):
this is more fitting. Like honestly, the the apartment that
she did have now compared to this, I'm like, I
can see Chanelle in the other apartment rather than Paulina. Yeah,
like that should have been Johnny and Chanell's place. Yep,
m all right, y'all. And now we're moving on to.

Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
That and this week's caption. That photo comes courtesy of Chanelle,
Xander and Sarah, either before or after the Pistaschio incident,
and this week's caption goes to Zen under Caps on
Instagram with their caption Sarah meet my bad decision.

Speaker 1 (01:23:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:23:07):
Remember like there's no they got married. Yeah, y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:23:13):
No, Yeah, that's funny.

Speaker 5 (01:23:17):
Before before the like allergic reaction thing, I forgot about
that that was coming up, and I saw this scene,
I was like, oh that's an I thought, oh, this
is like New Writers because they're just having people meet
each other and say hi and see each other. And
then right after that, if you guys notice the camera
panned and it was it was Chad and Cat, but

(01:23:38):
you still saw Chanelle in the background of that scene
like going to sweep bits. And I was like, Okay,
this is this is definitely New Writers, a new executive
producer like you see that. You know, even from the
way they filmed things, and then of course we got
the the allergic reaction thing. But I was like, oh,
it's just a sweet scene of like three people or
you know, these three people who don't have scenes together,

(01:23:59):
just interacting.

Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
Yeah, more cohesive of it.

Speaker 1 (01:24:04):
Yeah. Yeah, and that was tension there. Now let's go
back in time.

Speaker 5 (01:24:20):
Oh all right, everyone, take you back to May seventh,
nineteen ninety two, when DNA tests confirmed that John was
or is in fact, Forrest Alamaine, of course, making him
younger brother to Lawrence and of course Vivian's nephew. Yeah,
if you remember this storyline, this is when after the

(01:24:42):
whole John is not Roman anymore and they were trying
to find an identity for him, and this was sort
of the beginning of it. This is also where John
gets his money from. It's all Alamaine money, because yeah,
he is he is an Alameine. So yeah, and I
also did a little bit of a more deep dive
into the many different identities over the years of mister
John Black Ever sent the step foot on the Canvas

(01:25:04):
up until you know, his sort of Drake August and
sort of last scenes that we got to see. So yeah,
go check that out on the members page. Yeah, that
was May seventh, nineteen ninety two, when DNA confirmed that
John is Forrest Alamaine.

Speaker 1 (01:25:19):
And that was we ain't gotta know. It's a gift
because r was Ellia in here. But what we do
have is a little bit of news and gossip.

Speaker 5 (01:25:40):
Starting off, you have some casting news here our friend
to the show, miss Emily O'Brien on her news hurt
actually not new show, but her show Loved Death and
Robots made its premiere for its fourth season on Netflix.
Emily attended the premiere as you can see here, but
also her partner Ken and then of course good friends

(01:26:00):
Paul Telfer and his wife Carmick Cusack. You could check
out the new season Love Death in Robots on Netflix.
And if you didn't know, Emily is very, very big
and prominent in the motion capture so yeah, that's where
she fix a lot of her where she's got a
lot of her experience is voice over work in motion
capture stuff. So yeah, she's very very big and prominent

(01:26:21):
in that in that area of the business. So yeah,
go check it out. Or if you bar was abandoned,
didn't know that Emily, Emily actually is a character and
Love Death, Love Death and Robots, but go check it
out on Netflix. Then we have Kim Cole's what Nurse
Whitley is teamed up with Eric Alexander, her Living Single

(01:26:44):
co star on a new podcast called Reliving Single, where
they rewatch episodes and discuss the show, their experience, a
lot of behind the scenes stuff that we the viewers
may not have known. Streaming on all platforms, and you
can also watch it on their YouTube channel, so go
check that out if you're a Living Single fan. It's
definitely interesting to hear hear these two ladies get together

(01:27:05):
and sort of dish on their experience and a lot
a lot of behind the scenes stuff that maybe even
they didn't know from about each other. So go check
it out because I think a couple episodes I think
I premiered so far, so yeah, go check it out. Then,
of course we want to give a special Happy Birthday
this week. In addition to James Junior and Michael Matis,

(01:27:26):
Peter Reckle had a birthday this past week, so sending
out big birthday wishes to him. I'm sure we will
see him soon. I don't know if we have an
exact date, but we do know he's coming up, so yeah,
we'll see Peter on the show soon. But happy Birthday.
Then we had some sad news the rest in Peace.
If you're an old school Days fan, you know that

(01:27:47):
this actress, Denise Alexander, she played Susan on Days. She
was Julie's best friend slash enemy who she's actually the
one who brought Doug to Salem to con Julie back
in the day. And also I did a those are
the Days extended on Julie, but I focused heavily on
sort of this period of Julie's life. So if you

(01:28:08):
want to know a little bit more of that history
with the character of Julie, Doug and Susan, go check
that out. I think that one is available for everyone
now on our YouTube page at the moment. But yeah,
and also if you don't didn't watch her on Days.
If you're a Gage fan, you know that Denise Alexander
played Leslie Webber on GGE for decades, so she was
a big, big staple over there especially and after she

(01:28:30):
actually left Days, that's where most of her work was
was on gh playing Leslie. So so yeah, big rest
in peace, and go check out Susan's Instagram Bill Bill
Susan Hayes or at Bill and Susan Hayes. She just
did a lovely tribute to Denise and about working with
her back then and how welcoming and how much they

(01:28:50):
had in common and how they got along. So so yeah,
go check that out. But yeah big rest in peace too,
a soap soap legend, Denise Alexander passed away this week
or you.

Speaker 1 (01:29:00):
Click off the picture. Is this just me? But Denise
looks like Joan Rivers daughter, Yeah, yeah, and then in
this photo Susan looks like Jim Lily she does.

Speaker 5 (01:29:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
Yeah, Like I went. As I was scrolling through Instagram,
I was like, I was like, oh, what's going on
with Melissa Rivers? And I was like why there? And
I was like, oh wait hold on. I was like,
I was like wait a minute, wait, wait, wait, wait
wait I read it. I was like oh, and I
was like, that's so that's crazy, because yeah, yeah, so

(01:29:45):
that's it.

Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:29:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:29:47):
It's such a gorgeous photo and very much encapsulates what
was going on in the seventies with with these three characters.

Speaker 1 (01:29:54):
Soh now, listen, I see why they were after Bill
hand right old cat daddy.

Speaker 5 (01:30:01):
H Next up some reminders. We have still have our
Costa of LA benefit that Marybeth Evans is doing where
she's auctioning off a lunch date to support Cosa LA.
Of course, this is a charity that is very close
to her supports children in foster care. There's still time.
I believe the auction is going to go for a

(01:30:22):
few more days leading into this week, I think Wednesday
or Thursday. But if you'd still like to your chance
to bid, you can go to Atmrybeth dot Evans or
at Kasa dot La. Links are in the bio to
make your bid. Yeah, or if you just want to
donate to a worthy cause, but go check it out,
you can have lunch with Marybeth.

Speaker 1 (01:30:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:30:42):
Then we have our day. Players are continuing their tour
in twenty twenty five, opening pods down San Diego, Glendaloe.
It's been a lot of fun with last week. We
were very surprised that they were going to be for

(01:31:02):
some reason.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
Oh my god, yeah they Michael, you weren't Oh no
you were here. No, No, you weren't here. They were
reading off and they were like Glendale.

Speaker 5 (01:31:13):
Totally threw us off.

Speaker 1 (01:31:15):
And I was like, well, I think that's the the
GH Convention that we can yes, but they were so off,
Yeah Glendale, Wait what.

Speaker 3 (01:31:26):
Was when was were they on the show last week?

Speaker 1 (01:31:28):
Who the day Player? Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
Is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 4 (01:31:33):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:31:33):
No, When we were doing this portion of news and
in the Glendale Park came up, it threw us off
of like, wait, Glendale, did I read that right? Like
it just threw us off for some reason that.

Speaker 1 (01:31:45):
They didn't know. They didn't know that it was the
GH Convention. They were just like randomly Glendale.

Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
Yeah, you're doing good.

Speaker 3 (01:31:53):
Being justin and RL.

Speaker 5 (01:31:55):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I thought you.

Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
Were talking about the day Players video there and they
were confused that they were playing.

Speaker 1 (01:32:03):
Imagine can you imagine that They were like, Hi, everybody, well,
the day Players you can catch us in Albany, New York,
the Parkstown, PA, San Diego, California, Glendale and Toronto.

Speaker 5 (01:32:23):
Oh but yeah, like Tony bench week, this is the
Gage Convention that they're gonna be participating. And of course
we know Wally's part of JAGE and they also doesn't
work with Scott Reeves a lot, who of course is
on GA. So some more info coming on that one.
And then of course They're new show in Canada, Toronto,
September sixth, So I'll take us to information. You go

(01:32:44):
to the day plays band dot com. You know what
I have to say. I don't know this, This just
popped up. I'm just I'm just thoroughly like happy for
them mm hmm, because I feel like it's such a
great idea to join forces musically, because they all are

(01:33:05):
musically inclined and they.

Speaker 1 (01:33:06):
Created this group. They're touring living their their rock star life,
not like the rock star life, but the rock star life,
and like doing what they enjoy doing. I don't know,
like I like every.

Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
Time I saw the tour the country and yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:33:25):
Career and yeah and just playing music and and all that.

Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
I will tell you When Ursela and I showed up
to that show at the Bourbon Room, it was literally standing.
They had the place filled. I like, the show started
eight by seven thirty, they had to hold people at
the door. Wow, because it was so it was just
so full. And the response, the response, I was waiting

(01:33:50):
for panties to be thrown one.

Speaker 5 (01:33:52):
It didn't get to that point.

Speaker 3 (01:33:54):
But but yeah, the way that they've been able to
build this this group and this little this entity of theirs.

Speaker 5 (01:34:03):
It's it's kind of amazing. I don't it is amazing.

Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
I feel like I have so many questions like future wise,
like like is there an album? Like would they ever
do like an album? Would they ever do like original music?

Speaker 3 (01:34:20):
So Carson at speaking of the the Bourbon Street Bourbon Show,
Bourbon Room Show, he wrote and performed an original song
that night that he had written.

Speaker 5 (01:34:36):
About his daughter.

Speaker 3 (01:34:37):
Okay, yeah, so to answer, yes, they I mean at
least Carson is working on original music. So yeah, And
I don't know, I haven't seen any of the show
since then. But and then Wally had a song to
written or.

Speaker 5 (01:34:53):
Had so maybe yeah, I mean the next step, the
next logical step maybe would be maybe putting out a
digital digital EP of something like EP.

Speaker 1 (01:35:03):
Yeah. I wonder, I wonder if they've I don't know,
I mean, I'm they've had to write, like they've had
to kind of think about okay.

Speaker 5 (01:35:13):
Like oh I'm sure, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:35:14):
Like where where do we want to take this?

Speaker 3 (01:35:16):
I mean maybe, but it also could be a case
of like the formula is not broken, you know, let's
keep But I don't know, maybe that would be a
logical next step though, you know, releasing something.

Speaker 1 (01:35:31):
Yeah, because I feel like digital.

Speaker 3 (01:35:33):
Song of and you know, I don't know how they're
like when they create content together. Whose content is it?
You know, maybe those discussions need to happen to.

Speaker 1 (01:35:44):
I'm sure. Yeah, I feel like I feel like there's
there's something suddenly Suddenly. I didn't just picture them on
like America's Got Talent or something, just like being featured
on there being like Hi, Heidi, Simon, Howie, we're the
day Players, and as in the audience being like, yeah, yes,

(01:36:13):
that's very interesting, though. I wonder I wonder what the
what the what the future is for them, y'all let
us know, call us Texas, call me, beat me if
you want to reach me. Okay, sorry, way for a start.

Speaker 5 (01:36:31):
Image and speaking players, the day Players, Yeah you have
you get half of them with this one. This is
a cocktail Q and A with Brandon Barrage and Eric Martsov.
This one taken place Wednesday May again. This is I
this is a fun there's gonna be I already know
a fun one just with these two with their personalities
and yeah, so don't forget this one just popped up.

(01:36:53):
I think they just added the last couple of days.
So so yeah, go go and get your tickets for that.
We also have this Summer concert dance party happening the
weekend of June twentieth and twenty first in Montreal, Canada.
Then we have that Toronto show we mentioned earlier that
the day players are doing to actually teaming up a
Star Image on that one, so you can also get

(01:37:13):
tickets and info through Star Image there. And then we
have our Days of Our Lives in Nashville event taking
place the weekend of October fourth and fifth, This one
in Nashville, of course, Downtown Stadium, and all tickets at
Info you can go to event bright dot COM's last
Star Image Entertainment. Then we have our Samantha and Friends

(01:37:34):
Haunted Mansion event we've been telling you about, this one
taking place the weekend of September thirteenth to fourteen of
this year, and all tickets at info go to Samantha
and Friends dot org. And they also have they've been
teasing a couple of new events. I think they're they
they're sort of finalizing the deals or and arrangements and
all that, but they do have some some new events

(01:37:54):
coming up. I know we've been telling you about these
two for years, the one that just passed and the
Haunted Mans. But they do have a couple of ones
that look interesting coming up, so so yeah, stay tuned
in and well we'll let you know once those once
that information comes out. And then of course we have
our Jazz and Heroes event. This is a charity fundraiser
to benefit Veterans Health Network with our friend Greg Vaughn.

(01:38:15):
But again two events happening on Saturday, September sixth. You
can make one or both if you like, and all
tickets and info you can go to shop this dot
ticket leap dot com.

Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
Yeah, and that has been news and gossip, you know,
I will say I have. I've kind of been to
go to these other events. One like.

Speaker 3 (01:38:53):
Lle I wanted, I was thinking the Nashville thing. Okay,
so they do. There is is a direct Bourbank to
Nashville flight Act flight. I think Nashville is somewhat affordable
in terms of travel, and it's during like a good
time of year, like fall time back there. So I'm

(01:39:15):
like that would might be a good event to go
to because then you can make like a trip of it,
because like I've never been to Nashville before, driven through it.
I feel like we drove through it like on some
vacations or whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:39:29):
Michael matters, would you go maybe?

Speaker 3 (01:39:33):
I mean, well, if my if my financial situation is
as it is now, no, but if it picks up
over the summer, maybe something to consider.

Speaker 5 (01:39:44):
At least, Yeah, I'd consider it. And also the timing
is not great. It's sort of breaking on my birthday,
so this would that would yeah, open to it. It's
also that's gonna be I mean, we already know we're
gearing up for October. That time of year is always
such a crazy week. We also know we have the
Emmys coming up, Daytime Emmys in October, then we have

(01:40:08):
Day of Days immediately following, so yeah, it's a busy time.

Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
All the more reason to go. I have fun before
we get busy.

Speaker 3 (01:40:16):
Listen, look at what a Natt Thompson said. Who's that
remind you.

Speaker 1 (01:40:19):
Of your wrangler jeans? Your skin tight wranguler jeans. Michael
Madis just brought back memories. Yeah, uh, I brought it up.

(01:40:41):
Everybody to.

Speaker 5 (01:40:45):
I don't want to go, But no, I'm saying, now
you don't want to go down it?

Speaker 3 (01:40:51):
Oh she stepped up white wranglers.

Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Oh no, I so I I will say, like I
I have I've had in the back of my mind
the Nashville one, because I'm like, that would be like
I've never been to Nashville. I think it will be
fun just to like like go for a couple of
days before the event, do the event, and then come
back for sure. Yeah, and just kind of be Innshville.

(01:41:17):
Although then there was a moment where I was like, Nashville, like,
how are they?

Speaker 3 (01:41:22):
Like? I think Nashville's cool. I think Nashville's northern enough.
I have a friend that's been living there for a while,
so I can ask her what her thoughts on things.

Speaker 1 (01:41:38):
Yeah, And then and then I was like, my who knows.
My mom would probably come up and be like, I'm
gonna come too. I don't know, maybe something to think about.
That would be our first out of town trip. Yeah.
We will have to get separate rooms though.

Speaker 5 (01:41:53):
Oh for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:41:54):
Yeah, no, Binby and I in our own room. Bimbi
will be coming as well.

Speaker 1 (01:41:58):
Yeah, so Michael Madison, Bembuh justin b Harrow.

Speaker 5 (01:42:06):
You try it?

Speaker 1 (01:42:11):
Is that what you're gonna No, I was just gonna
say you and then and then you reminded me of
see look my mom already. Huh. Okay, well this is
food for thought. Anyway, Now that we've talked about our
whole plan, why don't we take a look at what's
coming up this week on the days of our lives.

(01:42:32):
One man's greed, maybe his brother's due.

Speaker 3 (01:42:35):
We have a lot to discuss.

Speaker 5 (01:42:36):
You want to steal the drug with your help?

Speaker 1 (01:42:39):
What someone wasn't here, whoever it was, they didn't anger,
Maybe his undoing.

Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
When I came back, Johnny was gone so much to be.

Speaker 1 (01:42:50):
You might be the one who shot your far and
one family's history is about to change forever, so much.

Speaker 3 (01:42:59):
Just fucked over that qua of our lives, Susan, Why
you gotta ship the next moment?

Speaker 5 (01:43:06):
Not Kevin coming back?

Speaker 1 (01:43:09):
Right?

Speaker 5 (01:43:09):
That was surprised about Kevin?

Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
That's interesting?

Speaker 5 (01:43:14):
Yeah, okay, okay, new writers, the glory days of the
last blast Crew right?

Speaker 1 (01:43:24):
Interesting? All right, Well, that's gonna be this week of
days everybody, and we will be back next week to
talk all about it. But before we head out, Michael Madis, Yeah,
where can they find you and your Shenanigans? Yeah? Where's
