Speaker 2 (03:23):
Hey, at least it makes sense.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
They usually all do new material. Alertoooo boo boo boo.
All right, So now, usually when we start this show,
I ask you, guys, what do we think about this
week's episodes of Days? But today I have a new question.
Oh okay, which storylines are you, guys gravitating towards? Which

(03:53):
ones are you enjoying right now or which one.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
I I'll go first. I'm enjoy Gwen being back, just
in general, and she's kind of bouncing around right now.
And the Xander, the Xander stuff, Xander Sarah, even though
it's it's getting to be like a little repetitive. I

(04:22):
still am interested in in where it like where where
it goes next, Like I want to see where it
goes next. And now we're you know, they're kind of
having Xander interact with others a little bit more, and
it's like, oh, are they trying to start something anyway?
And then who shot EJ? You know, I want to
know who shot EJ? That's what I'm like, tell us

(04:43):
who shot him?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Yeah? H So half the show just.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Anything one related I'm loving at the moment. I think
she's it's so good to have Emily O'Brien back. And
I'm liking the the cat rape stuff. I say stuff,
I'm liking that stuff that's going on. Yeah, everything else,
I'm like, Okay, it's everything else. I feel like it's stalled,

(05:11):
but I'm liking those two storylines.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
All right, or Sally, what about you?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I will make it three for three with the return
of Gwen, like I can't. I can't just just keep
Emily O'Brien on my screen forever and ever and ever
and ever and ever, and then I am really enjoying
the baby storyline. Really they did. They made a smart

(05:41):
decision with pulling a bunch of different people who you
wouldn't have expected to be in it. They're now in it,
and I'm really enjoying seeing where it'll go.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Yeah, I have to piggyback on the the Cat stuff.
I'm interested in only because I feel like they're now
finally figuring out what to do with Cat. I find
the Sophia story storyline very interesting only because Rachel Boyd

(06:10):
is really driving that, and I will say it's it's
a huh hm hmm interesting Uh. The kidnapping, I don't
know why, but like I feel like I was just like, huh,

(06:33):
how is this gonna pan out? So I'm like, I'm
like interested in, Like I don't know because because you
know how how this is gonna go. But we'll we'll
get into that. I was. I was about to say
something else, but we'll we'll get into all of that
and do a deep dive and listen, you guys, tell

(06:54):
us which storylines you're enjoying. You guys can also tell
us what storylines you're not enjoying so much. Maybe that
would be a question for us soon, but in the meantime,
let's take a deep dive into this week's episodes. Shall we?
It is now time to start. I love that someone

(07:20):
cleared their throat just to make sure it nice and clear.
Michael Madis, I knew it was to come out nice
and clear. That was a That was a Michael Madis,
let me clear my throat moment. All right, y'all, let's
start it off with our top storylines, and we'll start
with it's your civic duty to be on jury duty.

(07:42):
First of all, can we name another time where they
have ever mentioned jury duty?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I love this angle into this. How do you take?
First of all, welcome back the courtroom. There's an actual
courtroom set. It looks beautiful.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Wait, can we just can we just have a pause
in a moment for the courtroom? It looks amazing. Thank
you Martha Madison who posted like some behind the scenes,
like behind the scenes video of it. Shout out to
Tom Early and his team, who I know had to
get that together at days. Y'all did that, which means listen,

(08:29):
if they had to build a set, that means we
were in for some stuff.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
I was telling justin before the show, I was like,
you know, we're going to be seeing that courtroom like
every other episode for the next year.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
It's gonna be for no reason, like all of a sudden,
all of a sudden, like you know, Gwenn's gonna be
like meet you at the courtroom, mane, and then she's
just gonna be sitting there having a random conversation in
the courtroom.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
In the courtroom, you know what, Maybe they can alter
the court Maybe it's the courtroom can be altered to
look like a new church somehow it maybe it.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Does care And nobody's saying that you have to have
like the full jury courtroom experience, you have to fill
it up with a bunch of extras. It's like, there
are a lot of courtroom stuff. There's a lot of
legal stuff that we can do with that space that
doesn't evolve necessarily having a lot of people in it.
But I love this angle that they did with the

(09:31):
jury duty, that that being the way into the trial.
It was hilarious.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
I just you just mentioned like filling it up with
extras and then now like hearing that they're selecting it
selecting a jury. Can you imagine if if days was
like Okay, here's like a little haha, nudge, nudge, wink
wink moment that you know, Michael mattis always loves. Can

(10:01):
you imagine if like they got us and like other
like soap people, they were all just sitting there like.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
The four, the Four of Us, James, Tammy Govea.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Yeah, Michael Fairman, Michael Malowney, Yeah, what's her name from?
From soap? She knows?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Do you think that we as podcasters, just because we
we do kind of weakly examine all angles of something,
do you think that we would make good jurors?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (10:37):
Yeah, I agree we would, not that I would want to.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
You're the You're the only person that that I know
that you could get a call from days to be
like hey, we want you guys all on and you're like, no,
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Well, no I don't want to be on that jury.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Well you ain't got no choice.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
No, But it's like Jerry Judy is boring. The problem
is is that you can't examine all angles. But here's
the problem is that jury duty is either boring or
you end up in some like high profile trial where
they hold you hostage questering.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah. I'm just I'm just always like if that ever
happens to me, I'll be like, oh my god, hey
I know him.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Do you believe you can be impartial.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Nope, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
And it's like, whatever the crime is. What if the
crime is like someone got robbed, be like, well someone
robbed my mom and got away with it, so all
robbers need to burn in hell or or you know,
get Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
It's like are you judging? Yes, I'm gay? Next next question?

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Being judging and gay did not stop Leo from being
put on the jury.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
And neither did that baby. I love I love the
fact that he was going to use the maybe as
a as like a thing to like get out of
jury duty.

Speaker 4 (12:07):
Don't you have four adults who could watch that?

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Baby? He was like, uh, yeah, yeah no, but but
I feel like this is like this is gonna be
like a big thing. And and I think what's interesting
about this storyline is that it can involve so many
but also so alter so many relationships. It can alter

(12:31):
e J and Bell, It can alter Johnny and e J.
It could it could alter Chanelle and Johnny. Maybe, I know.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
So far as Chanelle and Johnny have been you know,
we're one. But I feel like this is eventually gonna
lead to friction.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
And yeah something yeah, So I don't know, it's uh,
it's a. It's a good setup for a whole fully
some a good like umbrella storyline.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
I did also EJM. Bell that could backfire.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yeah, I mean they already had the back Yeah. Every
week Bell's like, I hate you come upstairs and then
she's like, they have an argument and then she storms out, and.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
It did.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
I did cackle when she stormed out of the Demyer
mansion and that one.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Yeah, I usually don't like repeat because this is almost
word for word the same argument they had before he
was shot. The lot this when he slept together before
he was shot. But Martha, mais Dan your uncle just
made this this? They kind of made this one less
intense and more hilarious. So I responded well to it.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
But does it always have to be like in bed post? Yeah? Right?
They just yeah, and not just once but twice, like girl,
like you know what, you know what Belle should start doing.
Bell should start.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Not going over to the house.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
That but also once you're done, just be like, okay,
before we start arguing, let me go.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Yeah, they need to some rules.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
What she needs? Yeah. Oh, speaking of shout out to
Martha Madison, who today is celebrating twenty one years of
getting the phone call that she is the new Bell. Yeah,
so shout out to Martha Madison. I think she posted
that today, So shout out to her.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
And the world to breathe a collective side of relief.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Who you telling, because now let's not let's not.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Tradition, let's stay positive.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Look, I can't help what shows up in my timeline.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
The same.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
And she is hopefully she is happy and living a
fruitful life. And but we will never forget.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
We will never forget, good Lord.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
The fact that they made her wear a wig to
Martha's hair episode, I was like, that's.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Kind of.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Let the girl keep her hair and then explain it.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
When Martha starts, They said, baby, we we setting up
your departure. Now put this wig on. Put this wig on.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
And I saw the scene where someone comes in and
is like, oh my god, great extensions.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
I was like this.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Watching it again all these years later, I'm like, it's
so awkward, Like they could have probably transition that out
a little better.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
They should have never put that in, you know, Philip,
what do you mean? I just imagine being like in

(16:24):
I sorry, we're going on the table. But I can
remember being in my house in South Carolina, and and
seeing her and thinking, girl, like, who where did you
come from?

Speaker 4 (16:38):
Babst casting? And that was a big Let me.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Tell you something, Marnie would never, never, never, no trust
Marnie would have had Martha in there to begin.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
With, right girl. Okay, anyway, so back to Jury Duty,
but yeah, I feel like this is going to be
this is going to be big. Like the they're they're
really setting this up and really like setting the tone
for for for a throwdown.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Someone mentioned sorry, someone mentioned, oh, Tim Rawle, the Amy
Choi and Leo. I keep going back and forth about
this back and about this character of Amy Choi because
she in one hand she plays like stick up her ass,

(17:39):
tight ass really well, and then she'll flip and then
like the scene where she was talking about the baby
and talking to the baby and talking to Leo, and
I'm like, oh, I like her. Well, I feel like she,
this character and this actress has the potential to be
permanent in some way outside of so Fear and the adoption,

(18:01):
and it would just be a matter of figuring out
where where. But the more I watch her, the more
I like her. And I know it's been like she's
been on for months, but she was kind of a one,
one note character for so long, but now and I
think what really and you know it was what started
it was how she was so intently reading one stormy night.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
In the middle of well, I think it's important to
show characters like that, who are you know, who have conventions,
who are you know, very strong in their their faith,
in their and their beliefs, but have the ability to
bend and have the ability to listen when it comes

(18:43):
to the people that they love and issues that they
care about. Because that, I think that's just that's the
that's a three dimensional character. That's a proper three dimensional character.
And Jenny Nielsen is just a sweetheart in real life too,
so you know, we adore her. Uh So it's the

(19:04):
I feel like she's just really playing all of the
dimensions of Amy Choy and what's important to her and
her fears really really well, can.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
We all laugh at ourselves now, because there was a
moment where the majority of us took one line that
Amy Choy said and thought the storyline was going to
go in one direction and it never did. It was
when she first met up with Brady and Tate and

(19:35):
said nice house. We said, well, she's gonna use that
baby maybe.

Speaker 3 (19:43):
Okay, so that was Wait, was that under strike writers
or Ron? It wasn't under the current writers, It was
under a different writing regime, so.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
It had to be under wrong.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yeah, so maybe it was maybe his direction and was
different than what's happened, or.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
Like you said, it could have been the strike writers.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
And then I think you're just way, way way right
into that, or.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Maybe they just dropped it in case they wanted to, you.

Speaker 4 (20:14):
Know, m I mean, I firmly believe that there's another
side to this character. I feel like I'm waiting for
like the other shoe to drop. Not that she's gonna
be like this wild freak or anything, but I'm just waiting,
you know what I mean, Like this, like she's too
buttoned up. I need like something else, and I feel
like maybe hopefully they're gonna give us something. You know,

(20:35):
Shitty's amazing and great, and if you know Shitty, she's
the opposite of Amy Choy, so I'd be interested to
see her play something a little different.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
But we are.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
We did get the husband's name this week, so I'm like, Okay,
are they gonna give us a husband now? Because they
they haven't toyed about it, but they've they vaguely mentioned
the husband before and then they kind of don't mention
him sometimes. So now this time they showed her actually
talking to him him and then he I think he
got a name. I think this week it was was
Sam or Tim or yeah Sam. So I'm like, okay, Sam,

(21:07):
are we going to see Sam soon? Are we going
to delve into like that relationship a little bit more?
But yeah, I'd like to see more another side of her.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Yeah. She already is a three dimensional character. I mean
she she enjoys good light reading now and again.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Oh you're talking about Stormy yea. I thought you like reading,
as in like telling people off reading.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
Look, she can read many different she can she can
read many different things, and then she can give people
a read. I mean like people think like, oh, she's
a religious character. I'm like, well, how do you think
she got all her kids?

Speaker 5 (21:52):
Mhmm, hello, No, I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
That's coming from ROSSELLI.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Yeah, from the seat of the she basically said f
you and your son to EJ. So that was.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Everything short, everything short of.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yes, y'all. Can I make a confession and it's something
that I really need to stop doing. I need to
stop watching Days late at night, because when I think
I'm taking a nap during the commercials, I think I
actually sleep through the rest of the episode. And I
think that's what happened with Thursday's episode, because I woke

(22:27):
up and it was Friday's episode, and I thought to myself,
I'll just keep going with because I was like, surely
I wasn't that far from from the end. And then
as we're talking, I'm like, I think I missed that
whole section of like the jury duty and.

Speaker 4 (22:43):
She's goodn't it She yeah, she basically tells her she
basically puts it in their place.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
The question was do you feel like you can be objective?
And she's like no, I forgot what.

Speaker 4 (22:57):
I forgot what. She's like, you Roia's chance. And then
and then Belle like Belle like see like she gets
giddy and like, oh she doesn't like EJ. So she's like, oh, well,
will you be impartial to Johnny? And then she's like, no,
I hate him too. Like they She's.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Like, well, I mean granted, like the whole adoption and
all that kind of stuff, like it makes sense. So yeah,
she's dismissed.

Speaker 4 (23:23):
Yeah, Leo starts.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Though. Imagine being on a sequestered jury. I would I
would break I would break the rules so quickly just
to get out of that jury. I'd be like, I'd
be like, yeah, Press, I will tell you whatever you
want to know, just to get myself out of this mess.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
I suddenly just pictured a scene of like Michael Maddi
is standing like and getting coffee already being annoyed that
like he's on jury duty, and Leo coming up to
him and like talking in a very Leo tone at
a very Leo pace, and Michael matt is just kind
of looking at him, rolling his eyes and then walking away,

(24:07):
and Leo being like, well that was rude, and then
me over in the corner being like, do it again.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I would look on the bright side, because at least
Leo would keep you from falling asleep, because there was
some jury duty where you're just like like you're there
for like till like, way are we in the morning.
They don't let you go until very late at night,
and then you're like, oh my god, I need an
app you know what.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
I hope I hope we get the Leo faces that
we got during the wedding yeah, during the trial, yeah,
him finding out information being like.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
No, this trial shouldn't be about Leo's reaction.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
It's gonna be well, well, it's not going to be
about the truth because we know that Johnny didn't shoot him,
So I'm gonna take the entertainment I can get.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
And well, but actually this, uh, it happened already because
I don't know if you guys noticed the uh the
background actress, Yeah, yeah, and she was just like, but
she reminds me of of the the extras who are

(25:35):
in the actual like the courtroom shows that we see
and when people are talking, if you look bad, people
are like yeah. It reminded me of that.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
Oh man, Now I wish I was there because I
would have been like, see now.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
I want that kind of experience in the courtroom because
I want some entertainment, some like shock value. I mean,
you know, ever since they canceled Jerry Springer and Maury,
things got boring.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Oh my gosh. I used to love when they would fight.
They would fight on Jerry and then they would run
away from the camera on the.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
Back and they'd fall off, They'd fall off their chair,
they'd run and then the camera would be like.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Mari went it went just like this. They'd be like,
Michael Madnis, you are the father lies.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
I told you, I told you.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
In hindsight, we did not give those camera operators enough
of their dues.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
There should have been a camera on the camera operator
who had to run, because I.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Know what ruined those shows is like people soon and
then you know, people sue for whatever, and then they're like, Okay,
we can't do it anymore, right, I think.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
Huh it was it's so produced, yeah, but it was entertaining.
It was anyway, we digress. So I guess we're you know,
we're going to look forward to this trial. Yeah yeah, yeah,
well I like that we were.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
You know, some part of me believed that EJ actually
remembered what was happening, what had happened. But EJ actually
remembered what happened. It was faking that he didn't. But
this week, I there was that scene.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
With him alone looking through the photos.

Speaker 3 (27:42):
Yeah, and like struggling to remember something like okay, fine,
he doesn't remember, I'm off the the the idea that
he like planned it had something to do with it, knows.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
Yeah, I can tell you what he does, asshole.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
But he doesn't remember.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
He does remember that gunshot though, because it's scary I
remember who.

Speaker 4 (28:03):
That's one aspect. I feel like I wonder if that
was dropped by the new writers or maybe if Ron
had stayed, because I felt like before they were trying,
it seemed like they were setting up like a PTSD
thing for him where that was happening a little more,
and I felt like they kind of dropped that until
we saw like this past week where he sort of
jumps every time he thinks he hears a gunshot kind

(28:24):
of thing.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
So I would too. Yeah, no, I'm still doing now. Yeah,
he could be a balloon popping.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Oh that happened at the Dollars on Friday, Yeah, because
they have the balloons.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
There, and yeah, one of them popped in.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yeah, everybody just hit.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
I was like, oh shit, Tim. First of all, welcome Tim,
who just joined us as a new member, but also
that gunshot. Well, Tony, I'm about to follow leave watching days.
But but all right, let's move on to the next

(29:05):
top storyline, which is mister mom. Y'all know how I
feel about the Xander Sarah storyline because the whole time
I kept looking at Xander being like, Okay, listen, I
get it, but this is this is a moment where

(29:27):
one of you could kind of compromise to make the
relationship better. And if she wanted to leave to go
to Bermuda, then letter she would have to come back
to Salem at some point. But also you know, just
trust like this could have put them on the path
of like getting better. And then it didn't, And I

(29:47):
was like.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
And he went low. Oh I even I when he
called her mentally unstated. I literally was like, it was like, man.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
And she doesn't even know yet that Gwen's back in town.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
But also that okay, so that was a moment also
when I was like, the writers really just y'all just
hate Xander and Sarah don like and and then was
like and then started naming all this stuff, I mean
like pretending to be some airs and and Sarah I

(30:31):
said it before Sarah when I was like, she was drugged.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
You know that she said it once by your girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Yeah, And so it's just like it's like.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
It was a low It was a low blow because
he knows that it was not that that maybe you know,
she's had some mental health issues, but she's not mentally unstable.
And what strowing back in her face was not of
her doing or was not of natural mental illness. It
was induced by something else. And so for her to

(31:07):
you know, for him, excuse me, for him to put
throw that in her face, well, because I was like,
I was like, you know, Sarah side, Nope, Now I'm
on Xander's side. Nope, Now I'm not on Sarah side.
Because you know, but they can't keep like this, this
repetitive nature of them. You know, one of them does something,
the other one shows up and starts bitching at them
about it, and then the other one does something in retality,

(31:28):
shows up, starts bitching about it, and you end up
at square one when you have you've shown you guys
have the the the possibility of having a civil conversation.
You just need to not take digs at each other.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
I think a judge is gonna are they're going to
have to go to maybe not the judge. I think
They're gonna have to go to mediation, and a mediator
is going to have to just kind of set the
ground those for them because they can't come to an
agreement at this point. They just don't trust each other.

Speaker 4 (31:59):
And it's weird because like they've done this before. We
had this storyline literally two years ago when they worked
out custody before they got back together. You know what
I mean, It's like, you've done this before. I understand
the circumstances a little different. You're not well not I mean,
you were happily married. You were divorced before the first
time too, But again you're you're in contention with each

(32:21):
other a lot more than you were back then. But like,
you've already done this. Like I will say, though I
thought the Renee stuff was like, Okay, he knows he's
using that as But when I which I didn't even
think of, when even Sarah caught it and said, I
know where you're gonna say when I took Rachel, and
I was like, oh, yeah, that is another not that
you know, if we're like making the notches of each

(32:43):
of that each of them have on their side, I
was like, that is something he probably will break up
in court that you have a history of taking children.
And it is.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
But and then the context of surrounding her taking Rachel
would need to be presented that she is duped into
thinking partially because of Xander.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
But she was.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
Like the Renee stuff is not her fault at all.
That's like, but the Rachel stuff, she she took Rachel
and kidnapped a child. That that is something that courts
do not like that, you know that that's something against her.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
It's almost something I get Xander too, because then it
would be brought up that he switched the bait, he helped
with Victor, helps switch the babies. So again it's just like, okay,
you both end up on a level playing field. Santastic,
you know what I mean? Like, so they he honestly,
he shouldn't bring it up. He shouldn't bring up the
Renee stuff. Like they can work this out, but it's

(33:46):
it's just frustrating to see it go like in circle
circle circles.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
I just I just think, and I don't know how
everyone else feels. I just don't feel like everything that's
happening is truly justified. Like these characters are not characters
who can actually like have a conversation about Victoria and
be able to share custody and things like that. And

(34:13):
I feel like I feel like I feel like the
dialogue now is very much like maybe what if we
wanted to take it a step far to be like, oh,
but he hit Philip, so why would she leave the
baby along with him? But there's also the main part
of us that would be like, he would never hurt Victoria,

(34:36):
you know what I mean, Like, you know what I mean.
So it's like it's kind of like we're saying stuff
and having them say stuff so that it justified this
hate that they have for each other. But let's not
forget at some point you have to make us like

(34:58):
them together again. Yeah, if they're the end goal now listen.
I saw him with Gwynn and I'm like, mm hmm,
I don't mind of couples. Move on.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
A lot of people saw him with Gabby this week
and they're like, oh, Gabby and Xander, So you know, yeah,
I like.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
The Gabby stuff. You felt like he was like the compassionate,
understanding Xander as opposed to just being angry and angry
at the world kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Was nice.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
I could have done without the Xander stuff this week.
I felt like there wasn't much. Also, they were making
such a big deal about him being gone, and it
was like, I haven't seen you in a month and
she doesn't recognize me. And I was like, Okay, this
is a little overkilled. He was gone for like a week,
Like you know what I mean. She she's the over one.
She recognizes who you are, Like I do understand, Like

(35:51):
I will agree the the sort of trauma or turmoil
like a todder will go through if one parents like
out of it or their parents are getting along. That
makes sense. But I just thought it was a little overkill,
like she doesn't you know, he can't soothe her anymore
because he.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Was gone, Like, oh no, let me tell you that
part actually is no joke. When you want to get
the kid to bed and they feel unfamiliar with you,
because then ten minutes turns into half an hour, turns
into an hour, turns into three hours, that's no joke.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
I love how they also had the kid say, Mama,
did y'all hear that? Yeah? What seemed was I think
it was earlier in the week before before, Yeah, yeah,
And it's like, you know, oh, kids miss you know,
sometimes just want to be with their mom. And I'm like,

(36:47):
this is all the reason why y'all just need the
co parent, Like Xander, you could have let that girl
just go to Bermuda, Yeah, Like she would have been fine.
Her and Victoria get out of Salem, Like who wouldn't
want to get out of sale a girl? Yeah, so
I don't know this. I mean I felt like what
they were trying to convey was that he needs Sarah's

(37:11):
help as well because he can't do it by himself,
which I'm like, okay, great, but that I'm like, I'm
like Azalea bangs at the breakfast club and.

Speaker 4 (37:22):
Yeah, like he did it before by himself when he
was a single dad and everything was fine, Like what now?

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Bottom line, they need each other, but they can't trust
each other. So if somebody's got to step in.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
Mm hmmm mmm. M all right, Well that was that
story line. I feel like we through that one too.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
I mean it was I mean, it wasn't There's not
much more. There wasn't much development, Like, yeah, the same
conversation again.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yes, it was our backpedal or back pedal, backpack, back, back,
back back. I concur with justin that it was nice
to see Xander's empathetic side with with Gabby.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
Yeah, all right, well was the best part of that story. Yeah,
let's move on to the next top storyline, shall we? Oh?
What did you taken? Sailorm edition number five six and
eighty seven. Two things. One, I was like, these are

(38:35):
this generation's kids. Her phone was not off, which is
what his old ass forgot to do. And my first
thought was, so Tate doesn't have Holly's location, like they
haven't shared locations.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
I guess maybe I could buy that, since if they
just got together, I could buy I buy that.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
But even if they just got back together, like, the
only other way I would buy it is if in
a fit of rage, she was just like, I'm just
gonna like undo it. But I feel like they've been
on at least good terms enough to where I don't
think she stopped sharing the location. So that was my

(39:26):
first thing. The second thing was, and I'm gonna ask
this question, and I want all of us to go
around and answer it. I also want people in the
chat to answer it. How much money do you think

(39:46):
was old to them people that would force him to
kidnap arian Holly dollars fifty thousand? Okay, am I alone?

Speaker 2 (40:07):
What? Am I alone?

Speaker 7 (40:08):
Shirk?

Speaker 1 (40:10):
I don't know why, I don't.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
Know, I don't know what's enough money for that, But.

Speaker 4 (40:17):
You three thousand, say three thousand, because it made none
of this, Nothing about the storyline makes sense, yeah, because
Tate also would have had to have that much money.
So you know what I mean, Like they're making it
sound like it was a million, but it can't.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
R sally. If you could take a guess, I would.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Say maybe like five to ten that's what you generally
should have in the bank saved up for a car
payment on a car.

Speaker 1 (40:48):
This whole time, every time he was like you got
that money, you owys, I wanted to be like how
much he owe you? Like do we need to start
of gofund me?

Speaker 2 (41:01):
At this point the GoFundMe would have probably raise more.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
Because the thing about it is, I'm confused because I
thought all debts were like I thought everything was paid for,
and then all of a sudden, this gooon comes out
of nowhere and it's like you still all us money.
It was like, what you mean.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Interest?

Speaker 4 (41:25):
But but then paid gave him a thousand dollars for
the interest he paid that, and that it's still more money.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
Right, and remember hard money from people without contracts, they
can make up whatever rules they want.

Speaker 1 (41:40):
But Holly also gave him money too to get out
of it. Initially, mm hmm. This is the let me.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
That's what I'm saying like it has to it makes
it s because it has to be enough for them
to want to kidnap two young women, right with two
young white women too, Like let's see, well, well yeah, yeah, yes,
don't beat don't disregarding her half exactly, but yeah, but

(42:11):
it's also enough where that Doug is also still sort
of making payments on it, you know what I mean,
then like borrowing here and there.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
Like it got too convoluted to the point where I
at one point this week I was watching and I
was like, do we even know what he owed money for? No, No, it.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
Was it was it was when he first came in town.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
And then no, he did explain it.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
He did explain it. At one point he did. Who
was he talking to? Was talking to Leo, I think,
And he did explain it, something about yes see that
I know he explained it. But I think our general
point is that it just didn't make sense when he
explained it. He didn't make pense. It makes when he

(43:01):
didn't explain it, and we're kind of over it or
over it. The girls are gone, the men are useless,
and the the and the only people who could actually
ride to the rescue. At this point, were Cat and
Felicity becus.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
Felicity found the ring was actually kind of useful.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
Yeah, okay, yeah, Rafe was. I'll give him that. Raife
was useful because he got a lot of information quickly
and he and he he knew enough of the situation
to call in reinforcements right away. But let's be clear,
the heroes of this story are Cat and Felicity. They
have done more. They did more in an hour then

(43:47):
this story and this story, with this story that has
been dragging on for months.

Speaker 3 (43:53):
You know what they didn't mention. So when someone takes
a picture with an iPhone, most likely the geo coordinate
if you if you open it in Photoshop, you can
look at the like the data behind the photo and
there's usually there's usually coordinates where you where the photo
was taken. But I guess that was you know, anyone

(44:14):
can do that, but I guess it had to be
the I s A.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Can we talk about the photo?

Speaker 3 (44:19):
Yes? Because I cackled and this when the photo came up,
and it was like this beauty light, beauty professional, like
look like it could be like a video cover.

Speaker 1 (44:33):
Because like you're scared, but make it fashion. Yeah, yeah, story, you.

Speaker 3 (44:39):
Know what I mean. I was like, that's the photo.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
It also looks like uh like a like one of
those posters for a Lifetime movie. Yes, missing, it's called
Missing the The Tale of.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
The Wrong Boyfriend, looks like you picked the wrong will
play the detective, and at the very end she'll be
sitting with the two of them and vivocal say, looks
like you picked the wrong boyfriends, and then they'll shake
their heads like we sure did.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
End, and then a commercial and then the replay.

Speaker 3 (45:29):
Yeah no, and then the extended version with like, you know, commentary.

Speaker 1 (45:37):
When have they ever done that on Lifetime?

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Lifetime used to do that. They did that for they
would show like the main feature and then like a
special edition after or the night after, they would do
like a director's cut or something. They used to go
hard with their movies.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
They used to be oh yeah, like the early two
thousand movies like three five, those are good.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
That class ring thing was like, it was like, what,
someone's gonna find your class ring in deduce that you've
been taken?

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Like what, No, Felicity just said she found the ring.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
No, I know, but I'm saying Holly's intention was let
me drop the ring. So that people will deduce that
I've been kidnapped from finding my ring in an alleyway.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
Like it reminds me of that episode of Gim and
the Holograms where the Gim and the Holograms got kidnapped
and Synergy was like, jericha, jericha, what's happening? And she
she looks at the earring and then she takes it
off and she flicks it and it lands on the ground,
is like, jericha, jericha, no no, and it went to

(46:48):
the It was like the end of the episode.

Speaker 4 (46:51):
So that's where they got it from.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Yes, that was the that was the inspiration of it. Absolutely.
I will also, okay, I before I say that, I
will say this, I feel like, also this generation should
have been taught, okay, in case of a kidnapping, this

(47:17):
is what you do if you in the bed of the maritunnels.
This is how you get out. Always keep this on
you just in case, Like, because I feel like too
many now there's too many kidnappings, yeah, fake deaths like
like all that for people not to be more aware.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
No, you know what it is They watch the wrong
TV shows. That's the thing. Who this generation like, they
don't watch like mainstream TV in order to learn these things,
or they don't watch documentaries in order to learn.

Speaker 5 (47:49):
These things from what I'm talking about, and.

Speaker 2 (47:52):
Then nobody tells so that nobody tells them because they
don't want to have actual conversations and they don't want
to watch like mainstream things that will actually teach them
these things. Whereas like we come from the generation like
where you were told like do this if you know
you notice this, and like my, like my, like that
was the first thing that I was taught when I
turned thirteen, was like keys and keys in between the knuckles.

Speaker 3 (48:15):
And when I take bim beyaut it, I take my
keys and I hold them in my pocket with one
of them.

Speaker 1 (48:22):
Yeah, okay, that's that's great for real life. I'm talking
about how to live in Salem as as Tim just
said it, Salem's guide to surviving as a resident.

Speaker 3 (48:34):
Like surviving Salem a guide.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
Yes, like I like, I feel like these kids like
Holly and and Tate and everyone should have went through
a crash course either with Brady or Marlena or Wraith
or somebody, all these people who have been kidnapped before,
even Raith just recently to be like okay, because are

(49:00):
gonna teach you all how to be better than us.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
So, for example, if somebody that you've known your whole
life starts suddenly acting strangely, you shouldn't assume that they've
been poisoned. You should assume that they've been replaced with
a doppelganger.

Speaker 1 (49:14):
Yeah, exactly. If if you feel someone, if you fill
in your gut that someone is acting strange, play it cool.
Make sure though, you get some sort of DNA and
take it to Kaila so that way we can test it.
But do it quietly because if you say anything, you're
gonna tip them off, and then they're gonna pay someone
in the university hospital to switch the results.

Speaker 4 (49:36):
Okay, two things about that. One of them I rode
by is the other one I cracked up. Okay, the
discernment of the thug when Alley and Holly and Ari
and Holly were like, my family's rich, my family's richer.
And then the guy was like, oh no, I don't
want your family's millions of dollars. I'm gonna wait for
poor Doug to like bring me a bag of money.

Speaker 1 (49:55):
I was like, what, who already the money? The same
guy who told you he's working at the pub and
working as many hours as he can to pay you back.
I don't know money.

Speaker 4 (50:11):
Yeah that and I didn't.

Speaker 3 (50:13):
Know a real thug would have been like, okay, yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (50:17):
Call your grandmother. Give don't put an extra one. I
cracked up when, like when Doug was standing there talking
to rave and then Tate runs out and it's like,
it's that guy, get him and Okay. That cracked me
up for some reasons because I feel like no one
ever does that on the show. They always like and

(50:38):
let the guy get away and before you know, they
catch up to over or something. But that did crack
me up.

Speaker 1 (50:44):
That that whole scene, That whole scene was a cackle
because first of all, how Doug looked like so yeah
that number one anything you was just like.

Speaker 3 (51:02):
Doug, Doug, Doug the third seemed a little checked out.

Speaker 1 (51:05):
Number two this week, Number two, Ravee comes up, Doug Williams,
I want to talk to you about the kidnapping of
Holly and Ari and then and then the guy had
enough time to go.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
And then and Rafe is just like I know that
That's what made the contrast so funny with running out.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
But but but the thing about it is Ravee could
have like already started chasing him as like as a cop,
does that not look suspicious?

Speaker 3 (51:35):
That should have looked.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
Right, but it was, but he just Rafe was still
just Doug Williams Doom doom, someone's running. And then he's
like then he just walks up the dug like not
even like what was that like he couldn't even get
that out before it takes like that's the guy. And
then finally they're like and it's like and then and
then to end at all, you just have Doug.

Speaker 4 (52:06):
Doug's probably like, listen, I'm doing all this over three
hundred dollars, like I got two women, two women that
the lives are on my head. I got to work
at the fucking pub I live over there.

Speaker 1 (52:18):
That's he.

Speaker 3 (52:26):
Just disassociated everything and was like you know what, I'm
I'm done. Even when he was at the police station,
he was like he was like whatever.

Speaker 1 (52:35):
I like, Doug had a gummy and went to work
and then and then had to deal with the kidnapping,
and he was just like where am I mm hmmm,
where am I? Hilarious though, I was like, well, at
least you know, at least they are steps closer to

(52:56):
finding out where Holly and Ari are.

Speaker 3 (52:58):
Friday episode and died. So it was such a weird
ending for a Friday EPISO. Yeah, when the credits came on,
I was like, oh.

Speaker 1 (53:07):
That was that was it? Wait? How did it end? Again?

Speaker 3 (53:11):
Felicity gave what's his face the ring and looking at
it and then the show ended.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
It was that was that was.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
Like the cliffhanger. I guess the cliffhanger was like, oh,
now he has a clue of where she might be.
Wasn't that stellar of a cliffhanger if that was?

Speaker 1 (53:32):
But then that doesn't make sense because Cat because Rave
called Kat to look at the photo and she was
able to to know where Holly and Ai were.

Speaker 4 (53:41):
Yeah, so does she know where they are or thought
she just got the footage?

Speaker 1 (53:46):
She got She got the photo and she was like
she was.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
Able to find where they were. But remember if she
hasn't met up with Felicity because she had to she
sent Chad to go pick up Felicity.

Speaker 1 (53:59):
Yeah, oh god, can you imagine if like they were
running and they ran into Felicity and they just kidnapped
her too.

Speaker 2 (54:07):
Oh I leave Felicity alone. She's paying attention to things
that all these other people aren't.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Let me tell you, Felicity ain't got time, she got
gymnastics and work.

Speaker 5 (54:23):
She doesn't.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
And yet, and yet she is the one that is
actually picking up on stuff. She is noticing things that
other people ignore.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Ain't nobody got tied up at it.

Speaker 3 (54:35):
I also feel like Felicity would shame a robber, like
a kidnapper into letting her go.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
She'd be like, what are you doing? Shame, shame, shame, shame.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
And he would be like, Okay, I don't want to
hear that, you can go.

Speaker 1 (54:51):
Felicity will probably try to out out smart out with
the kidnapper. She'll say something like.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
Like would make him like would what am I trying
to say? Would shame him?

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Or like we would read him as like yeah, yeah,
as a distraction so someone else could like get things done.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
I just imagine her sitting there and being like, I
forgot to turn off the oven and sweet bits, I
gotta go back right. My mom is gonna my sister
is gonna be really mad at you, so don't make
her mad take me bad.

Speaker 3 (55:27):
She would just walk off. She wouldn't even like like,
she wouldn't even try, like she would she would just
like yank away and walk away and be like, I
gotta go check the oven, go fund yourself.

Speaker 1 (55:36):
I feel I feel like there would be a maybe,
like a and then an eye roll, almost like I
don't have time for this kidnap the Actually, she probably
would have been smart and would have been like hold
on and then grab the cake and like.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
Gotcha, bitch.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
Ran off. Felicity said, not today, Felicity in that, you know,
Felicity needs to be you know, you know, the when
you're training for a new job and they make you
watch all those videos. Felicity will be the Hello, welcome
to Salem's guy to staying Alive. I'm Felicity Green. I

(56:26):
love it all right? Anything else about this storyline?

Speaker 4 (56:34):
Mm hmmm, well, any another part of it that doesn't
make sense to Oh?

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Any other part of this that's so convoluted?

Speaker 1 (56:44):
We wait, what what other part does it make sense? Any?

Speaker 4 (56:49):
Is it really any other part of it that couldn't
make any more less less sense than?

Speaker 3 (56:55):
Is there more nonsensical items to talk about with this?
I think we covered them all.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Yeah, we've covered the basis. It's gonna we'll see what
h what next week looks like with this with the Shenanigans,
because what a mess. And and I know everyone's like,
you know, oh yay, like Doug is leaving. But to
be honest, I feel like this is just another character

(57:22):
that I'll feel like they could have done so much stuff. Yeah. Yeah,
And and it's that because I feel like Peyton Meyer
did a great job as done. I just felt like
the introduction of Doug came at the wrong time. I wish,
I wish that one of the sets of writers were
just settled in their vision for him. Yep, and and

(57:46):
they just went with that.

Speaker 2 (57:48):
Yeah, we're saying this is a pattern though, where they
bring in someone interesting or kind of dynamic that we're
excited for, and they.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
Just for lack of a they sort of let them
sit on the vine, you know, raced on the vine.
It's like you actually have to give them something to do,
You actually have to write for them. Yeah, you just
put them in a scene with these great actors, or
you introduce them in an exciting way, and then you
just kind of like let them flail for months.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Yeah, it's not for us, it's not for lack of
good character, but you have to actually pay attention to them.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Yeah, I feel like the first big step that could
have helped with the revitalization, so I can use big
words too. Of the character would have been Julie forgiving him, yes.

Speaker 4 (58:39):
Or even just putting him in a different storyline once
she threw him out, Yes, like forgetting this hole he
owes the loan shark like, yeah, moved up the stuff
with him and Leo get like move forward with Holly
in a different way.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
Yes, what happened with that? That was just so that
just really just fell down, Like are any of us
really interested in seeing Holly and Tate two point zero?

Speaker 3 (59:03):
I think we were, excuse me, Holly and and and Yeah,
I think we were.

Speaker 2 (59:10):
We were all on board, you guys, like you did
this again with us. You got us on board with
them and then just let nothing happen.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
I was, I was, I was rooting more so for
Doug and Holly than I will. Y'all know how I
feel about like I feel like I feel like once
once he got out of jail, like Holly and Tate
should have been like over.

Speaker 4 (59:30):
With Yeah, I even like, I mean, I even like
Tim and Ari that sort of like attraction. I was like, Okay,
this is how they're gonna like revitalize.

Speaker 1 (59:40):
Him a bit. And then now, yeah, but then they
made her clinging yeah, and I'm like, listen, it must
be that good.

Speaker 2 (59:49):
No, I even would have been I even would have
been okay with that if they would have like leaned
into that triangle. I would have been fine with that.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
But it's just like, well, also, it would have actually,
if you think about it, it would have been super messy
because think about the players that would have been in it.
So let's say we were rooting for Doug and Holly, right,
but for some reason, Holly was like, uh, you know,

(01:00:20):
like just didn't want to go full on with it.
After Doug was like you know, yeah, I like you, right.
So then Ari comes in town and Ari puts that
thing on him. He's like all right, like you know,
she wants to be with me, so I'll do this.
And then that's around the time Holly was like, you
know what, I'll give Doug a try, which then makes
our Holly discover that Ari and Doug had hooked up

(01:00:41):
and she's like, oh, well cancel Christmas on that goes
back to Tate and then it's this like pushing pool
of like Doug and Holly, but then we also see
this pushing pool of Tate and Sofia and then klingy
Ari trying to like maybe noticing that like there are
times where Holly has his attention more and then being

(01:01:03):
clean hot, like it could have been some good stuff there.

Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Guys, give me the mess. I'm craving the mess. I'm
craving the romance. I'm I'm craving the just.

Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
It's ironic because I think we always talk about this
could have been a really great late teen early twenties
scene for them, especially with them bringing in Doug and
Ari to spice things up. And now it seems like
they're because again like you don't have like Ari, Ari
and Tate can never be together. They're related, they don't
have enough you know, errands in and out. So He's

(01:01:37):
kind of there, kind of not there. Doug, they seem
like they're getting rid of so now it seems like
we're stuck with the three girls, which is fine, but.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Like's, yeah, I forgot about Aaron.

Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
Yeah so yeah, yes, yeah, Oh they're all oh it could.

Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
Have yes, yes, guys, give me guys, give me the love. Look,
I'm like halfway through this, Dachery Blossom. I am gonna
be fully transparent now, like I need the love. I
need the mess even if it's just like this messy
teen romance.

Speaker 1 (01:02:10):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
We they used to do those big sweeping promos on
the Summer of Love, and everybody's like at the at
the lake and in the bedroom or making mistakes and
getting messy. It was just a where is that?

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
I'm still suffering with that?

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
That you?

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Yeah? Is it was that the name on the box?

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
No, it's the name of the drain.

Speaker 3 (01:02:36):
She actually handcrafted her own cocktail.

Speaker 1 (01:02:38):
You made that?

Speaker 2 (01:02:39):
Yes, I do. I make my own cocktails because I'm
not going to the bar and paying like fifteen dollars
for a drink that I can make myself at home.

Speaker 3 (01:02:50):
Next time we're out, you are going up to a
bartender and asking them to make a fuck I forgot
it already, Jachery Blossom, Zackery bo. I just want to
see the reaction, Like did you google that?

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
Yeah, for ingredients.

Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
And you have all four of them at the house.

Speaker 2 (01:03:15):
Yes, it's easy rum, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, and lime juice.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
But who has elder flowers at the house.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
No, it's elderflower liqueur, but.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
It you either got two buck chuck Stella, some sort
of beer, and a vodka.

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
The fact that you think I would allow any of
those things in my home proves how little you know
my taste.

Speaker 1 (01:03:42):
I would. For some reason, I feel like there's a like,
I kind of wish we didn't have these backgrounds, because
I would have you pan over to be like, take
take me to your bar.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
I hate to break it to Tony. My bar is
a drawer, of course.

Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
It is, of course it is, you know what, Honestly
I wish I wish my mom lived here, because my
mom was just saying, oh, she's gonna text me a second.
But but I think I've said this on the show
the show before. My mom has a has a drawer
of alcohol. But my mom doesn't drink. So it's literally

(01:04:27):
like there for show and so like maybe like a
couple weeks ago, a month ago, my mom was like,
I really need to just get rid of this. I
would have boxed that up and just gave it to you. Yes,
it wouldn't have included elderflower LaCour though.

Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
It's not that big a thing. I saw yesterday at Target.
I didn't get I gotta get mine from Target, but
then I was like, oh, Target tells it cool.

Speaker 1 (01:04:53):

Speaker 3 (01:05:44):
I heard her voice.

Speaker 1 (01:05:45):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean we sound a lot of
like well not in the register, but I just.

Speaker 3 (01:05:53):

Our lives are virtual event events.

Speaker 6 (01:07:00):

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):

people that would join, but he would stay off camera. Yeah,
probably like Meghan. Yeah, and probably would like you some
voice altering thing. Hm. Oh yes, thank you. Candice uh
Canda said shout out to Edition Days on being number

(01:07:21):
three for top thirty best Soap Opera podcasts to check
out yours as well. Her herds were on the list.

Speaker 4 (01:07:30):
You want many of them?

Speaker 1 (01:07:32):
She said me that. I said, who did this list?
Not even thank you, but who did this?

Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
I did follow it. It's a sight. And then they
had the most random like in terms of podcasts, they
have the most random things.

Speaker 4 (01:07:46):
It's actually good it's a good site if you if
you're into podcasts to like them. So, yeah, it's a
good sight.

Speaker 1 (01:07:53):
Will y'all send it? Send it in our group chat site.
I'll take a look at it. I should start listening
to podcast I should. I should start listening to podcasts
besides our own and and also watch more scripted TV.
M hm, watch a lot of reality. I know.

Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
I got bad news for you. It's slim pickings.

Speaker 1 (01:08:15):
Insert dak re blossom.

Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
What I'm drinking. I literally had a whole conversation last
night with my friend. My friend who also loves soap,
said our content is being taken away, and so this
is why we're drinking, and this is why we're going
We're going back to the beginning. We're going back to
novels because we're like, not even days is giving us
like the super couples we want, and it's just depressing.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Yeah, Megan, what a way to get us to mention you? Hey,
I'm listening out of one. Did you just mentioned me.

Speaker 4 (01:08:49):
Who called my name?

Speaker 2 (01:08:54):
And when we said this whole conversation about my bark.

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
Your name is your name? Elder Flower Locord? Oh my god,
that would be that would be such a great drag name.
Oh and ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage. Elder
Flower Lahore. It would be like an old person though,
be like James, I would be Dacory Blossom.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
You look like blossom.

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
Thanks. We're trying to say you won't drink it.

Speaker 2 (01:09:29):
Like you like you get on stage. I'm just blooming like.

Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Okay, that dactory blossom is kicking in, is ed in
the old swig of it.

Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
Lord, if you got a good twenty minutes, not even
twenty minutes, probably got.

Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
Like, yeah, we get a lecture.

Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
I don't, but I don't. But I don't know what's
gonna trigger her, because she's gonna be like, Okay, So
this is what I'm talking about. You guys don't understand.

Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
I'm looking. I don't think I have any like I
don't have any beefs with any of the upcoming today.
It's all, If anything, the tidbits are where I found
my joy this week.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
All right, well, let's talk about this. First one do
threes company two. I love that. Gwen von Loschner said, Babe,
I'm about to move into the mansion.

Speaker 4 (01:10:40):
This is a perfect fit. This is where Gwen belongs.
Like these are her people, this is her family, this
is where she belongs. I know EJ's annoyed about this,
but honestly, EJ, this is probably the best thing for you.
I like, I miss when like the Demerrors were a
unit like that doesn't happen often in the history of
the show, but I liked it, especially that period. I

(01:11:03):
loved when it was like Stefano and Kate and EJ
was with Nicole, and then the Lexi and Abe were
around a lot with THEO and then Chad. I forget
who he was with, but like I liked them building
up that and Tony was with I think Tony and
were around at that point too, So like, I feel
like they need to build up this family and stop

(01:11:24):
with the like at each other's throats. Let's like make
them united about something. Like they don't have to be,
you know, a remake of the Hortens, but like, let's
let's give them some give them like some staying power
and some force. And I think maybe like having there
might do it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Demra dysfunction is its own thing. We don't want them
to be the Hortons. You need them to be the Hortons.
We just need enough people in the house to create
more shenanigans and chaos, because that's what we love them for.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Yeah. I mean I saw a picture of them, of
the three of them, and I was just like, yeah,
this fish. I feel bad though, because I feel like
Gwen wanted to belong to Jack and you know, JJ,
and you know, be an aunt to Thomas and Charlotte

(01:12:22):
and you know, but they will not open that door.
In the words of Meani Leaks, the door is closed.

Speaker 4 (01:12:33):
And listen, let's just make a switch. Chad is an
honorary Horton now as it is, he's barely a Demira. Like,
we'll we'll switch. We'll take the demirs will take when
the wreends will take Chad in a clean, a clean
switch here.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with going. Yeah, there's nothing wrong
with going to the family that you that you belong
with as opposed to the family you were born into.
You know, that makes perfect sense to me.

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Yeah, all right, well we'll see as they get into But.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
One tiny little thing, oh yes, Thomas, like Chad can
easily belong to both h.

Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
Thomas is a little ship stir.

Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
She was like, I'm Gwen, why won't you give that
woman her necklace back.

Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
Basically, why did you take that lady's husband? Basically she
could have said that too.

Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I mean, yeah, Thomas had no chill m. She was
staying there. For the first time. Gwen was just because
everyone else has kind of been like that too, and
she's like, but this is right, you know, But this
time she was like, well, but.

Speaker 5 (01:13:48):
At first she was like, so, all right, kids say
the darnest things.

Speaker 1 (01:13:57):
Kids say the darnedest thing. Justin Cassie wants to know
what water bottle are you using?

Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Oh, it's the initials are s M. It's like, I
forget the name. It's like smart method or something. Yeah,
I'll find out later, but I forget.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
But it's yeah, not s mw no, because I may
be all right, Let's move on to our next tidbit,
which are some secret identities. Not Kat and Ravee having

(01:14:42):
like alter names for each other in their phone.

Speaker 4 (01:14:45):
James, is it?

Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
I liked it? Actually?

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
Yeah, I want to. I want to give y'all. I
want to. I'm gonna reprogram my phone with alternate names
for y'all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
You don't have that for anybody in your phone, Tony like.

Speaker 1 (01:15:00):
Me, uh no. Usually in parentheses, I will put like
how I know them?

Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all do that yet, but.

Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Like I don't have like like do not answer or
diz bitch or like.

Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
You know that is not incognito oh or like no
like initials or like really like generic names.

Speaker 5 (01:15:28):
Mm hmmm, oh yeah, I have to have.

Speaker 2 (01:15:30):
That in my house. Why Yeah, because I live with
no because I love you know, I live with someone
who's super nosy and like all of them are business.
So I'm like, and that's just some random persons.

Speaker 4 (01:15:45):
Call you ten times. They don't. Yes, it's it's ramone
from down the street.

Speaker 6 (01:15:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
Yeah, it's like you don't know, you don't need to
be able to all in my business.

Speaker 1 (01:15:54):
And the person who is nosy, uh going through Rseli's phone,
please start looking at the time that Jenny calls. If
it's two am with the followed by you up.

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
That hasn't many case quite a while.

Speaker 1 (01:16:14):
There're go that Daktory Blossom, y'all. We are now proud
sponsors of Daktary Blossom, where you two can cozy up
on the couch with a glass followed by a nice
read of One Stormy Night. Okay, that's it for that storyline, right, yes,

(01:16:36):
secret identities. Speaking of One Stormy Night, let's talk about
the cover art of it? Shall we discovered by Kayla?
I love that. Kayla was just very like, oh, yeah,
we read this. Oh it's going to be a hit.
It's so good. Not you realize that, uh, page number
eighty nine and one oh seven were written by your

(01:17:00):
daughter who was trying to experience page sixty nine before
you knocked on the dove.

Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
I'm also, I don't know this is It's it's funny
and it's cute and stuff, but after this is it's
starting to get a little one note though, like, like
how scandalous can this book be? Like, I assuming they're
trying to draw parallel, like this is like a fifty
shades of gray kind of thing, but it's like, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
Maybe she's of gray. Isn't even scandalous anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
But even so, I'm saying, like, how scandalous could it
be that it's going to like ruin her or like
you know, it's she doesn't want it out the reputation
and all this stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
It's like it's it's it's the changing of the mindset
that is that we need to work on here. It's
that you know, she's for all the I'll talk of.
You know, she's a grown woman, she has her own experiences,
blah blah blah. She's still very much like grew up
in you know, well didn't grow up in a two

(01:17:56):
parent household, but her parents had this epic love story.
You know. She's raised in pretty like not a super conservative,
but pretty traditional family all things considered. So that kind
of mentality I think just still sticks with her. Plus,
she's in PR, so she's used to being very like
rigid about her words and her language and things like that.

(01:18:18):
So it's it's more changing Stephanie's mindset when it comes
to how she thinks people should perceive her. M. Yeah,
well that's that's where the embarrassment comes in there. So
she hasn't yet learned to own that hard.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Yeah the way. Side note for those listening, Megan Bizarro
just put up what was it?

Speaker 4 (01:18:56):
It's not like she's being called at a coal Play
concert le loud.

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
The what I I'm gonna tell you what I love.
I love the I love the video of the sporting
events that now have the Coldplay cam. Yeah, and it's
couples who are like that and then they're always like
mm hmmm, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:19:17):
We needed this as a country, we need yeah mess
to unite us. Yes for a minute before the next
ship hits the fan.

Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
Yeah, true, And that was it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:32):
And we're still like, no twenty four hour cycle with
this thing. We're still on it.

Speaker 1 (01:19:38):
But you know, you know what's funny though, have you
ever been to like a concert or looked at like
one of those jumbo tron things and we I know
I've said it. I'm like, oh, I hope they yeah, because.

Speaker 4 (01:19:50):
You have that before.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
Yeah, And I feel like, go ahead, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:19:55):
Just gonna say if they don't kiss, Like sometimes they'll
put it on a couple and they won't kiss, and
I was like, oh, what's up with that? Or yeah,
are you related? Are you creeping or.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
You Sometimes they'll be like that's my brother, Like You'll
them like yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:20:09):
That's why. I usually just assume that.

Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
But this time, for the first time, it was like, well,
either they can't be seen together or they're having an affair,
CEO having an affair. And I'm just like, well with.

Speaker 6 (01:20:25):
The HR lady with the HR like it was the
coworker for me sitting there like this smile from ear
to ear, like you bitch just just got busted.

Speaker 1 (01:20:39):
Wired.

Speaker 3 (01:20:40):
Nobody, nobody on that video had any kind of poker face.

Speaker 4 (01:20:44):
I know the situation.

Speaker 1 (01:20:47):
Apparently he resigned, yeah, which I'm like, he better keep
that job, is wael?

Speaker 3 (01:20:52):
Okay, they were saying the wife removed the last name
from her profiles.

Speaker 1 (01:21:00):
But it's also like, girl, you knew.

Speaker 4 (01:21:03):
Yeah, well, at least now she got proved. Now she
can divorce him in the public eye and get.

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
That's the jury I want to be on.

Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
Yes, yeah, I said, I said up before started the show.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
Well I was going to transition to speaking of prizes,
and then oh goodness, all right. Our last tipbit we
have is called second thoughts, and this is about Sophia
and her situation she is now utilizing this time at

(01:21:43):
with Tate supposedly being gone to the lake, but couldn't
go to the lake because Holly and already got kidnapped.
She said, baby, this is the time we about have
had this baby while he gone, I'm going to Chicago.
But let me tell you this shout out to Sofia,
because remember a few months ago when I said, Sophia,
this is what you need to say to your mama.
Oh yeah, Sophia was. Now you don't need to come

(01:22:05):
to Chicago. I got this, Get off my phone, goodbye.

Speaker 4 (01:22:12):
And then Amy Choy screaming at the husband like he's like,
she's in Chicago. It's a big city.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
Yeah, you want to narrow that down a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
Start with the bean and then moving away, He's like,
I don't know where to look.

Speaker 1 (01:22:30):
It's a big city. Find her right, figure it out.
But I will say, like, please, please, please, Rachel Boyd,
please flag all of this stuff. Yeah, because and and
again going back to Marnie and Bob for finding people

(01:22:54):
who can who have the talent to do this. She
there's something about her delivery that makes it innocent yet heartfelt,
and worried yet happy and relieved. It's all these emotions

(01:23:20):
that you have to wonder where do you tap into that,
especially being so young, because most of the time as
an actor we pull things to like that we can
relate to so that we can and the fact that
she's able to like emote this young mom who had

(01:23:44):
to make a decision to give up her child to
see the child with Leo and Hovey and keep it
together but slightly losing it. Happy that the kid is happy,
sad that the like there was. She's conveying so much

(01:24:05):
that I was like, oh, emerging talent nomination, Yeah right here.

Speaker 4 (01:24:12):
I forgot to mention this last week. But now that
you're saying this tony about making showing the innocence of her,
that scene where she grabbed the light on the glowsticks
and was doing the like fourth of July, she looks
so innocent and like a child. It was like a
weird like thing of relief for her where you're like, oh,
you really felt her in that moment, like, yeah, just

(01:24:34):
eighteen years old, this girl, Like she looks so innocent.
And I have to say we loved Madeleine the original
Sophia and thought she was great and what she brought
to it. And I think when Rachel came in we
were like, oh, I think she looks a little younger
and she comes off more teenager, not in a bad way,
but more of a teenager. And I think that has
come to Fruition now and it works so well. So

(01:24:56):
hands off to not only her but Marnie for bringing
her in. But yeah, she has just been killing it lately.

Speaker 1 (01:25:03):
She's given Laurel. Did you hear what I said, Diana,
I'm a woman now, that's what it's going. But she's
and and the I love the scene with her and
and Melinda, just that continued relatability, that vulnerability, Melinda being

(01:25:23):
there for her like this, this is a this is
a duo that you didn't see coming. Yeah, but you
appreciate so much. Mm hmmm. Yeah, it's also good.

Speaker 4 (01:25:38):
Yeah, she's definitely ignited or reinvigorate the storyline because I
was like, it's getting kind of stale, like what are
we doing here? What what's happening? Yeah, and very I
feel like we've been I feel like this story has
played out in real time, like you know, usually speak
are they're pregnant on the show for maybe like five
months or like four months, and they as forward a

(01:26:00):
little bit. But no, I feel like since she got pregnant,
we've been dealing with we've been lying for nine months
and nine month storyline.

Speaker 1 (01:26:08):
Yeaheah for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:26:09):
Yeah, yeah, and it makes it just made it for
you know, we're talking about how we like Melinda being interjected.
It completely made sense for that character to be her
her sounding voice or the help and.

Speaker 4 (01:26:22):
You really believe.

Speaker 3 (01:26:25):
You see like the softer side of Melinda, you know
what I mean, even though like there's there's schemes going on,
there's lies being told, You're you're rooting for them to work.

Speaker 1 (01:26:32):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like she's just mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (01:26:39):
In that scene when she saw Leo and Hobby with
the baby was so good, Like it was a mix
of wanting to like grab the baby and take it
back versus like he's in a good place, I'm happy
kind of a thing.

Speaker 1 (01:26:51):
So m hmmm.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Yeah, that scene was really well done.

Speaker 1 (01:26:54):
It really was like and you can you could tell
like that she was wrestling with like the emotions of
it all, and she was trying to keep it. She
was trying to make sure like I don't want to
give too much that like I'm the mother and da
da da, but like you know, and yeahs.

Speaker 2 (01:27:15):
Her, and kudos and kudos as well to Melinda because
she said the thing that Sophia needed to hear, which
is that I am here for you. It's not about
for me. It's not about the baby. Not that the
baby doesn't matter, but it's that I my role here
is for to be a sounding board just for you.

(01:27:37):
Not an expectation of what's good for the baby, what's
good for your parents, what's good for the father, what's
good for you? And you know, down the road, Melinda
get make it blamed for how this turned out or
for what, you know, whatever circumstances play out from this
point on. But the thing that I hope that people
remember is this, Well, you know what, Melinda would never

(01:27:58):
have been in the picture if any one of you
had just put her needs first, had just put Sophia
first and just put her in the center and said,
tell me what you want and we will do it.

Speaker 1 (01:28:12):
Tell me what you want. Only justin got that reference. Yes, true.
All right, Well that was it. Well everyone, that was

(01:28:37):
your week of days of our lives. Now it's time
to go into our favorite part of our show, which
are our segments, and we're going to start with mine,
which is Tony's official Three Snaps Award. Y'all already know
Rachel Boy get to my three Snaps Award number one

(01:28:57):
for telling off a mama, because that was a long
time coming. She basically said, Mama, stay out my business. Okay,
I'm in Chicago. No, you don't need to come here,
leave me alone. I got this collick. Okay, she is
showing rain, she's showing emotions, she is taking us through
the journey of a young mother who had to make

(01:29:18):
a very adult decision. So, Sophia Choy, Rachel Boy, for
all that you have gone through and all that you
have shown us, and for taking us through your journey
and finally telling off. Y'all, mama, you get Tony's Official
Three Snaps Award. And now it's time for all right.

Speaker 3 (01:29:48):
This caption that photo comes courtesy of Doug. Doug the
Third looking at the photo of Holly and Ari and
their Glamour kidnap shot in this week's cap goes to
who I think is in the chat right now at
dual fan whose real name was not on their Instagram profile,
so I don't know atual fan on Instagram with their

(01:30:10):
caption just wanted caffeine, got served a whole situation.

Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
And this photo got I saw got quite a bit
of quite a bit of traffic this week on Twitter,
on everywhere I saw that You're the caption that people
were like into, like trying to figure out a good
caption for this one.

Speaker 3 (01:30:34):
Well, on Twitter, you need to look at how many
were from one particular person. Oh yeah, but yeah, I
got some one. I got some This one tickled me though.

Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
Don't mind me. I'm just going over to Twitter.

Speaker 3 (01:30:48):
That was.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Tension. And now let's travel, shall we too?

Speaker 4 (01:31:01):
Oh all right, everyone taking you back to July fifteenth,
nineteen seventy seven, when Andrea Hall, located there on the
left of this picture, but Die Hal's relif twins sister,
debuted as Samantha Evans, So yeah, you could. You're not
seeing double there. That is Samantha on the right in Marlena. No, Samantha,

(01:31:26):
Samantha on the left in Marlena on the right actually
with Don Craig in the middle. And for those of
the days extended, I did a little bit of a
deep dive on Andrea Hall, who is the relicqtient sister
of Didre Hall, who not only played Samantha Evans, Sandy's
namesake in the seventies, but also came back and originated
it the role of Hattie Adams in the late nineties

(01:31:47):
early two thousand.

Speaker 1 (01:31:47):
So yeah, so go check that out.

Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
And that was July fifteenth, nineteen seventy seven, when Andrea
Hall debuted as Samantha Evans.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
And ohs well, and that it was time for.

Speaker 2 (01:32:08):
It's a Gift, And this week's It's a Gift goes
to the delightful miss Gwen van Leshner and her drinking
slash Shenanigan's buddy Kristin Demara having a good old giggle
at EJ. And this if they were teenagers, this would

(01:32:31):
be the twin sisters just torturing the little brother to death.
And it gives me noodles of joy just to see it. Yeah,
I hope that they give they give EJ the good

(01:32:54):
amount of torture that he deserves.

Speaker 1 (01:32:58):
Yes, yes, m hm, all right, and that was It's
a game, and now it's time for news and gossip.

Speaker 4 (01:33:19):
Starting off this week, we had a couple of Emmy celebrations.
First one was Alan Lacker sat down with our day's
nominees to talk about everything Emmy. You can check out
that interview at the Locker Room on the YouTube channel.
Very fun, interesting with everyone there. And then the second,
Tony and Michael attended Annelin McCord's Emmy nomination party in

(01:33:42):
happy belated birthday that Anneline celebrated her birthday this week.
But in addition to both of them, Julie Duff Kennedy
Garcia and fellow nominee Emily O'Brien were in attendance. But
Tony Michael, how was it? What was what can you
share with us?

Speaker 1 (01:33:57):
Since you Anelin is amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
Lovely, lovely people. I was telling justin beforehand, like even
like their they're people like at one point I went
up to redeem Tony. Remember when I was talking to
you about the drink tickets, Yes, somehow I ended up
with like four. But I went up at one point
to get a drink and a guy that was with

(01:34:25):
Angel McCord was like, it'll take forever. We'll just order
your drink. He was like, come here, we'll just order
your drink with ours.

Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
What do you want?

Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
And so I was like, oh yeah, I told me
here's my drinking and he had like five, so he
was like no, never mind, He's like forget it. So
then I was able to and then someone else gave
me there's whatever. But no, my point is everyone was lovely.

Speaker 1 (01:34:46):
It was great.

Speaker 3 (01:34:48):
No, I had like no because then I only used two.
I only got to glass of wine, three, three, last
of wine.

Speaker 2 (01:34:55):
But your final answer, it was.

Speaker 3 (01:34:58):
It was lovely. Meeting Anna Lynn. She was she was
just a beam of light. I started my interaction with
her being like, wow, birthday and Emmy nomination, big fucking week,
and then I was like I probably shouldn't. Then I
was like I probably shouldn't be swearing. But no, she
was lovely, her sisters were lovely. It was a cool
little party.

Speaker 1 (01:35:16):
Yeah, it was a good time. I can. I couldn't
stay long though, because I had to go host my show,
so I was I'm glad I was just able to
pop in and say hi Kiki with Michael Maddis for
a little bit, and then I had to putace out here.
It's fun, I mean, and it's it's great to celebrate that.

Speaker 4 (01:35:36):
Yeah, absolutely, so who yeah she I mean people know
Edelin's been around for a while, so to gain recognition, Yeah,
it's really nice for joint coming on days and being recognized.

Speaker 1 (01:35:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:35:51):
Yes, So we'll see what happens with their nominations in October,
so stay tuned for those next step. We are sending
well withhes and feel better to our own. Leo Howard,
who had a really unpleasant experience recently when he was
accidentally roofed uh well, he was out to dinner with

(01:36:12):
his wife Natasha updated that he is doing okay. But yeah,
it's you know, prevalent on everyone what not just women. Everyone.
When you go out, you know, having fun with your friends,
make sure you keep an eye on your drinks so
that you are all staying safe. Yes, yeah, but don't worry.

(01:36:33):
He's doing well.

Speaker 3 (01:36:34):
Keep an eye on your drinks, on your phones.

Speaker 2 (01:36:36):
Yes, your drinks and your phones always yes, And go
to the buddy.

Speaker 4 (01:36:41):
Mixed up. We last week told you about Greg Ricard
and Rebecca Butding's new podcast Sophie, and that dijer Hall
would make be an upcoming guest. Well loo, we know
literally right after we got out there she was on
the next episode would dropped like a day or two later.
But yeah Tuesday, Yeah, did your all guest start on
this week new podcast? Of course Greg and Rebecca. She

(01:37:03):
talked about taking on the iconic role of Marlena organizing
the first soap fan event and then her most memorable storyline,
So you can check that out on the CBS YouTube channel.
Look under Sophie for her episode.

Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
There can we can? We can? I side note for
a second. Congrats to Soapy, very happy for them. Now,
how do we get audition days?

Speaker 7 (01:37:34):
As the official after show podcast for Days of Peacock, Like, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:37:45):
Would people be interested in that? Picture?

Speaker 6 (01:37:47):
It?

Speaker 1 (01:37:48):
Like, you know, we have a set which I know
where we could do it. I just wonder if we
would have to like redo our time and if we'd
still be live. But those are just minor details. But
after a conversation with a friend of mine, I was like, huh,

(01:38:12):
we have been at this for ten years. It would
be nice to have like to be more affiliated with
Peacock and be like the official the official podcasts for Days. Yeah. Oh,

(01:38:34):
and that has a lot of good questions. I think
that you're our manager.

Speaker 6 (01:38:40):
But I.

Speaker 1 (01:38:43):
But I but I do think that, like, I think
it'll be helpful to do these. I think it'll get
more more eyes and more people like involved.

Speaker 4 (01:38:52):
I think you can also just take out the word
more there and just put money period.

Speaker 1 (01:38:59):
Right Yeah, yeah, like it can we start like how
do we start a campaign? Yeah? Like I feel like
I feel like the fans. Okay, this is a call
out to fans. If you want to see Audition Days
as the official podcast for Days of Our Lives Peacocks

(01:39:23):
Days of our Lives? What should they do? Should they
tweet days well or like tag days, tag peacock, and like,
get everybody in their mama to yes.

Speaker 3 (01:39:36):
As long as I can remain my uncouth self, I.

Speaker 1 (01:39:43):
Would be on board.

Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
Yes, Like we we we are promoters of the show
forever and always. That does not mean that we are
not allowed to critique, to provide. We are we are.
We are fans with open arms, but we are also
you know, very broad strokes, very very dedicated critics.

Speaker 1 (01:40:09):
But but you know what, respectful, respectful.

Speaker 2 (01:40:12):
We are respectful critics.

Speaker 1 (01:40:15):
Yeah. I think I think that's the one thing about
us is that we've always been respectful, which is why
people like us. Yeah. Also, while we're on this, uh
this is poo poo announcement, Day of Days has not
been announced yet. No one knows any information about Day

(01:40:36):
of Days. We don't know nothing. We ain't got nothing. No,
you don't know. But as soon as it's announced, we
will make sure. You guys know. I've been getting so
many messages about uh day of Days that I'm like, like,
I don't know, I don't know, So we just hope.

Speaker 4 (01:40:57):
I mean, all we have to do is they go
on whatever, not information, but whatever pattern we've seen over
the last few years. We know it's usually end of
October beginning of November, so it coincides with that's what
it usually is. I think last year was the year
we got info a little bit earlier than we usually, right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:41:17):
Yeah, last year was in July. The year before that,
it was in September. Yeah, the year before that, it
was like two weeks before the event.

Speaker 2 (01:41:26):
And given the fact that the Emmys are in October
this year, you know, anything could happen. We will update
you as soon as we know, as soon as we
are given the go ahead. That being said, please please
please be very mindful and spead the word of being
very mindful of these supposed third party spoilers on YouTube

(01:41:52):
and such who think they know certain facts that they
do not.

Speaker 3 (01:42:00):
Basically, we're telling you what we tell you every year.
When we know, we'll let you know exactly, and you
can trust that when we know, we'll let you know exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:42:12):
That's it and that's that. On that now back to
news and concept.

You have a great deal of potential. One life starts.
Are you okay?

Speaker 4 (01:48:24):
I had the baby already and.

Speaker 3 (01:48:26):
The clock keeps Ticket, I'm willing to try anything to
find the culprits.

Speaker 2 (01:48:29):
Who are you talking to?

Speaker 3 (01:48:31):
Tell me what you saw and Ticket run into.

Speaker 1 (01:48:33):
Him while you were looking there.

Speaker 4 (01:48:34):
It looks like Dimitri might not be the only Demaro,
who's gone on my own until time. If we can
get this grade off, we can use to call away
to freedom.

Speaker 5 (01:48:42):
Runs out, Mom, wake up.

Speaker 1 (01:48:45):
All new days of our lives only on Peacock Lord.

Speaker 2 (01:48:51):
Can be a good week. Next week.

Speaker 4 (01:48:52):
I forgot about Stephan Demia. I forgot their bogashs are
from Alaminia. I was like, wait, what is she talking about?

Speaker 1 (01:48:59):
And then it clicked.

Speaker 2 (01:49:00):
There's a lot of there's a lot of like interweaving happening.
I'm really gonna enjoy this week. I yes, yes, we did.
We there was only today that happened. Didn't remember, but yes,
happy birthday to uh former days of our lives. Current
Beyond the Gates writer Jamie Gettens, who provides us with
kinds of fun stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:49:20):
I yes, I'm sad that Doug is leaving. I'm sad
that oh yes, birthday, Jamie.

Speaker 2 (01:49:31):
I'm sad Doug is leaving. And no, we don't know
if Stephan is coming back. We don't know anything. To
stop asking us.

Speaker 1 (01:49:38):
We really don't.

Speaker 2 (01:49:39):
We don't.

Speaker 3 (01:49:40):
We do all you want, just don't expect an answer.

Speaker 1 (01:49:43):
And I will say this, we do it on purpose
because we like to just know what's happening in the
week and talk about that. We don't like to know
anything else beyond that. So that way, when we get
asked and we say we don't know where, we're being honest,
we don't. Yeah, you know, wait just wait, everyone, just like,
just wait until April twenty twenty six when you see

(01:50:06):
the brand new tad.

Speaker 3 (01:50:10):
It's marked on my calendar, marked in my calendar, is
marked up my calendar as a basement flood.

Speaker 2 (01:50:18):
All I had to do was send you a real.
