Speaker 3 (19:46):
All right, y'all, it's time for this notorious segment of
Dang d l do we got a dang deal for
y'all today. Look here a Kentucky woman god into it
and knocked her husband's mama out.
Speaker 7 (20:03):
What yep, that's what I said.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
A mother in law got knocked out by the wife
and the husband put everybody out.
Speaker 7 (20:12):
What is we gonna do? Well, let me set this up.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
They was having family dinner on Easter a few weeks back,
and all of a sudden, the mother who came over
with the niece is enjoying the food. You know, she
really don't have any complaints because her son did it.
The son made Easter dinner because the wife had just
(20:35):
given birth to their newborn baby. So the husband's a
new father, the wife's a new mother, the mother in
law's a new grandma.
Speaker 7 (20:46):
And the niece is a new big cousin.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Everything is new, all things has passed away, so it seemed.
So in the midst of dinner, the baby started crying
it was time for his feet and as well.
Speaker 12 (21:02):
Baby was like, y'all way back, eat well out me.
Speaker 24 (21:07):
Yeah, y'all get it.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
So the wife says honey, excuse me, excuse me, y'all.
I'm gonna go feed little Junior or little Juniet and
I'll be back. So the husband says, you know, her
food is probably going to be cold. So, being a
good husband that he was, that prepared the food, he
covered her food up, put it in the microwave for
a little Later on, well, everybody else eating, finished eating
(21:29):
and enjoying conversations, and the nie sack.
Speaker 36 (21:32):
Uncle, Grandma, I'm still hungry.
Speaker 3 (21:37):
And he said, well, baby, we don't have no more dinner,
but we got some other stuff that you could snack
on till you know, maybe y'all leave and you can
get home.
Speaker 7 (21:46):
And get something to eat.
Speaker 27 (21:47):
She okay.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
So then he said, okay, well, let me go out
here to the shed and I'm gonna get some snacks.
Speaker 7 (21:53):
I'm gonna bring it in.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Well, on his way back from the shed here all
this commotion going on in the crib, he like, ain't
what is going on?
Speaker 7 (22:01):
That quick?
Speaker 34 (22:01):
He running the house and it is World War four, five, six.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
Seven, three and twelve. Yeah, it ain't even no particular order,
because that's how much out of order they was. So
the mother in law had taken the wife's plate that
the husband set aside for his wife, the same plate
that he just told his niece. Now, ain't no mobvidles
you gonna get these snacks.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
The mama said, baby, don't worry about that.
Speaker 24 (22:32):
I'm his mama.
Speaker 7 (22:33):
I got you, and then gave the wife's plate to
the niece.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
Now the wife don't come downstairs after giving the baby
a little suckling.
Speaker 7 (22:43):
Now everybody fully exself hurt. She's like, oh, where am
I plate at?
Speaker 12 (22:47):
I thought baby? I thought, hey baby, baby, he out
he outside.
Speaker 7 (22:52):
Getting getting some stuff. Well wait a minute, that's my plate.
Well you was gone. She's still homery ltd.
Speaker 28 (22:59):
The baby, Nah, we ain't gonna do that.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
So the mama then says, with baby, and she pats
the wife on the stomach, same wife that Jesse gave
birth to her grandchild. She patched the wife on the
belly and say, well, you could stand and lose a
few meals.
Speaker 7 (23:15):
Anyway, man, when I tell you, when I tell you
out of order.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
Man, Look here, her husband walked right in when Mama
patted that belly, but he wasn't in close enough to
stop the wife cock back like sugar Ray Leonard Robinson,
Muhammad ad Tyson and po hit Mama so hard that
(23:42):
Mama's Easter dress from the bottom flew up to the
top over her head. Mama's girdle Undi's was exposed, and
she hit the counter and slid down the cabinets.
Speaker 8 (23:56):
You knocked my mama out. You just knocked mama.
Speaker 24 (24:01):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
So now he like y'all all tripping. You tripping because
you greedy eating up everything I told you, wait on
these snacks. You well, I ain't gonna tell you why
you tripping, mama, because you sleep. You ain't gonna hear this,
no way, but you tripping. You have to put your
hands on my mama. I could have handled that. Yeah,
she was out of line.
Speaker 8 (24:17):
She ain't got to be putting.
Speaker 7 (24:18):
Yes, she out of line. But all y'all get out
of my house. And he put everybody out.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
He put the mama, He woke the mama up, slapped
a little bit through some water. Interface your mama. Yeah,
I know, you a little droggy. Grab your niece's hand
because y'all out of here. So now he don't put
the mama out. He done put the niece out, He
put the wife out, everybody left. He put the baby
out when the baby woke up. Nah, he didn't really
do that, but I'm just saying he put everybody out.
(24:47):
Then he tried to call the wife, and he was like, hey, look,
this is such and such. Answer your phone just calling.
I'm ready to talk. Five days go by, wife ain't answered.
All of a sudden the knock at the door. He
come energetically running. He thinking baby done made it home,
(25:07):
and it's a letter from a processor, a server giving
him divorce papers. Now you know, Mama didn't get knocked
out because of the plate being given to the niece.
I don't even think Mama got knocked out because she
patted her belly.
Speaker 7 (25:23):
And said she needed to miss a few meals.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
I think that that was ys of mama getting on
her nerves and her husband like, hey, that's mama, let
me let me.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Take care of it.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
She said, Oh he gone. She took the perfect obtuity.
You didn't have to put your hands on they man's mama.
Use our line putting your hands on they man's mama.
That's just like that man putting hands on your daddy
the wrong. You let him handle that, You let him
show you that he about to stick up and stand
up for you. You don't have to put hands to
nobody's mama. I'm sorry, unless she was throwing some hands
(25:57):
at you. But that woman, she wasn't putting paws on
you like that. Now, she had a good snap game.
But just like Chris Rock found out, that girl smacking
back what she done, went and.
Speaker 24 (26:10):
Got the divorce file.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
I'm just saying, man, you can't put your hands on
their man's mama and don't expect him to respond that
kind of way, y'all. I'm sure y'all have had that
type of conversation before and like, hey, man, just.
Speaker 7 (26:23):
You know, you can say what you want to say
to her, but just don't put your hands on it.
So y'all put it in the comments. Let us know
what you think.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Didn't mama go too far and deserve the one two
punch that two piece?

Speaker 3 (36:32):
My name is Pastor Kurf for Dixon, and I'm Debbie Dixon,
and we're locked in backstage with DL and BAM and the.
Speaker 8 (36:39):
Hottest music, talk and topics this side of Heaven.
Speaker 24 (36:41):
And all of the funnies you can handle on DLS
backstage past conversations.
Speaker 7 (36:48):
All right, y'all know what time it is. Put your
hands together for.
Speaker 34 (36:51):
My own air ride and die.
Speaker 3 (36:54):
My comedy comrade the Ball, the bearded Brown bomba of
comedy himself with his segment, I just be bam give
it up for mister Brown.
Speaker 24 (37:11):
What's up, family, how's everybody doing. I'm sure you're blessed.
I'm sure you're blessed and highly flavored. Listen, as I'm
scrolling through the intranet as I normally do, I ran
across the post that kind of it kind of disturbed me.
So I want to put a warning. Now this is
gonna be a warning. Fellas. Start with the fellas. Fellas.
(37:35):
Let's let's let's watch what we post. You know, I
know we like to flex. I know we like to,
you know, show everything that we got. You know, a
new house, let's post it, new car, let's post it.
Speaker 7 (37:49):
Jewelry.
Speaker 24 (37:50):
I gotta post it. But man, be careful. Here's the story.
A man of six, six kids. You know, you just said,
out at the pool one day, but he flexing his rolex. Watch.
You know, he's showing up, showing it off. He's looking good.
Speaker 7 (38:07):
You know, Hey, I'm showing it.
Speaker 24 (38:09):
I got a little money, I got things going on. Well,
a woman noticed the post reached out to him. Hey,
you know, I think you kind of hand him. I
think you're cute. Let's hang out. He like bad, you know, yeah,
let's hang out.
Speaker 27 (38:24):
Let's chill.
Speaker 24 (38:25):
So the girl, she calls her homegirl and said, hey,
it's a guy on Instagram and it looked like he
got a little money. So let's let's set him up.
Let's robbie, you know, let's robin Let's get him for everything.
Speaker 17 (38:41):
That he got.
Speaker 24 (38:42):
So they hang out, the guy and and the girl
and the and the third wheel, you know, he's just
hanging out. Ain't doing nothing real crazy, just hanging out.
So they go to the guy's house. Got a nice house,
you know, nice house, six kids. Now I don't know
where the kids are in this whole equation. But so
(39:04):
they get to the house and they kicking it, you know,
kind of drinking, kind of having a little fun. And
so the woman and the guy go away, you know,
they doing they having fun, they chilling. The other friend
is in his house, you know, looking for all the money,
(39:24):
looking for the extra jewelry, looking for car keys, looking
for all of this stuff. So they try to come
up on the scheme and the girl keeps him in there,
but then he kind of notices that, you know, something
ain't right, so he walks out. He's checking the house.
(39:46):
The girl is like, hey, you know, where's all the money,
where's this? Where's that? The Guy's like, man, I ain't
got no money.
Speaker 7 (39:52):
You tripping.
Speaker 24 (39:53):
But by this time, people, the friend of the friend,
which is the third wheel, has called two guys to
come over. Two guys to come over. Now here's the scene.
They come in, they bum rush the scene. They're looking
(40:13):
for the guy. They're looking for the money. They're looking for,
the watches, the jewelry, all that kind of stuff. They
don't find none. So the guys kind of rough the
dude up and end up stabbing and killing the man.
(40:34):
Now come to find out that the man's rolex that
he had on wasn't even real. It was a fake.
So they did all of this stuff for a fake rolex, watch,
for some money that they never found, for some more jewelry,
car keys, all that extra stuff that they never found.
(40:55):
But now they got a homicide on them. Now they're
going to jail. All of them are going to jail
for trying to set this man up. So I even
take this to my senior Saints, my senior citizens, my
elderly people.
Speaker 7 (41:12):
This can happen to you.
Speaker 24 (41:14):
This can happen with the kind of cool car that
you drive, the nice house that you stay in. Be
careful who you allow in your space, in your area,
your neighbors, your neighbors children, Watch what you post. Even
the phone calls that you get. My senior Saints, people
are calling and they scamming you. Don't give them your information,
(41:37):
don't let them know where you live, don't give them
your address, because nine times out of ten, it's going
to end up bad. And I don't like to see that.
I don't like to hear about it. None of that
that you know happening to my senior saints. So this
was a warning. This was a warning to everybody, because
(41:58):
it's happening more and more, or is more and more
common now than it has been you know, anywhere, because
more people are posting on social media. So I said
that to say, I love you all. Be wise, be wise,
be wise, Watch the circles that you have, watch the
people in your circles, and watch the company that you keep.
(42:20):
All right, I just be bam. I love y'all, A.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
Wee.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
You don't have to worry. Come you supply you have
a reading away and you'll make a way out of early.

He own the camel for a foul. So the Lord

You lot? Get well?
Speaker 43 (44:33):
Hold it.
Speaker 17 (44:34):

Speaker 12 (44:40):
So whatever you need you can go. You along.
Speaker 7 (44:48):
You're a fly.
Speaker 8 (44:49):
I don't need God, you wus gods.
Speaker 2 (44:57):

(01:00:25):
his head was so big. And when the pastor told

thought goes past the hell to his nose. He could
keep his mouth open. And do you know that little

Speaker 7 (01:01:16):
But sister Geraldine, it don't matter.
Speaker 12 (01:01:19):
If the little boy was on his way to heaven,
you got to put on brakes. What's the Lord has planning?
Who am I to get in the way? If it
was his time, it was his time.
Speaker 58 (01:01:30):
But my sister card Bishop, she said no, let it
not be sold Jesus, and she.
Speaker 12 (01:01:35):

Speaker 28 (01:01:37):
So was the baptism Was it salvaged or you know?
Speaker 24 (01:01:42):
Did that count?
Speaker 7 (01:01:43):
Was his baptism counted as good? Or is he gonna
have to get a restart?
Speaker 17 (01:01:48):
Well?
Speaker 58 (01:01:49):
Seeing how he wore and they got the water out
his lugs, and he came to and the pastor water.
Pastor was a naughty He said, little boy, out you
out the water. And the little boy said, Jesus did.

I mean mouth to mouth. Why I be seeing my
grandma will do that too with deacon.
Speaker 7 (01:02:29):
But you know, hey, hey, hey, hey, Joe Dean. I

the cooling water. Anybody been dip, Yes, I've been deep,

Speaker 8 (01:10:38):
Don't what's your jo?
Speaker 43 (01:10:43):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
This is MS Tiffney and I'm listening to my faid
mister Sathyfair, B d L. Marshall and my brother VAM
Brown on the multi award winning d l's Backstage Past
radio show.
Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
All Right, welcome back, y'all. It is today's d l's dudes,
and don't say hey man this one here, y'all. Gather
around this music box. Y'all turn it up loud because
I know it's some construction going on by where you're driving,
or some of y'all on the freeway and it's loud
and your car ain't insulated. That ain't got listen man,
Today's dudes and don'ts man is after you get through
(01:11:17):
listening to this segment and this show, pick up the
telephone and call a loved one, Tell them you love them,
tell them you're missing, tell them you just wanted to
tell them that they are needed, they are love. If
you got to walk around your house and go into
the next room, do the same. What I'm getting at is, y'all, man,
there are far too many people getting up out of
(01:11:39):
here feeling sad, feeling alone. There's too many people getting
up out of here with family members still holding grudges
with each other, being mad over a little minute, trivial
things that seem so major and insurmountable when.
Speaker 24 (01:11:53):
They are alive.
Speaker 3 (01:11:54):
But then when someone dies, and if you're at odds
with a loved one, a family member, a good friend,
church member, and they passed, you see just how miniscule
that disagreement was.
Speaker 7 (01:12:07):
What did you get in that?
Speaker 43 (01:12:08):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
I was doing some reading, researching for what we could
get for a dudes and don'ts or dang dl and uh. Man,
this kind of made me say dang, but I had
to put it in the dudes and don'ts. And the
reason being is because a wife was cooking and the
husband didn't, you know, say say how good it tastes?
He ate it all, he didn't say how good it tastes?
(01:12:32):
And man, they got into it and he left to
work and he's like, man, she always tripping this, that
and the third. And they went a couple of days
without talking. Come home, you know, trying to act tough,
and well, you don't want to speak to me. I
ain't speak to you. I'm so unbothered. And people can
(01:12:52):
be like that when you feel as though you have tomorrow,
when you feel as though you got later on and
you don't have later, you don't have the next moment
to make things right. Well, he got up as he
normally do and man, hey, I'm out.
Speaker 7 (01:13:12):
There wasn't no response.
Speaker 3 (01:13:13):
He figured, Okay, maybe she's still upset. He worked his
whole workship, came home and his wife was still laying
in the same position she was laying in their bed
when he left.
Speaker 7 (01:13:26):
She had passed in her sleep.
Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
She had passed in her sleep, being upset with her
husband over a meal that was not complimented to what
she felt it should have been. She fell dead next
to her husband that went to sleep upset with his
wife because he felt she was tripping and he was
gonna teach her a lesson that he could not talk
to her as long as she didn't talk to him.
(01:13:51):
What I'm trying to tell you is that the Bible
tells us, don't let the sun go down upon our wrath.
Speaker 7 (01:13:56):
Make things right.
Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
While this day, something as small as you did tell
me you like my cooking, led into two or three
days of not talking to someone.
Speaker 7 (01:14:05):
That you love, someone that is a part of you,
that you're one with, that you vowed with.
Speaker 3 (01:14:11):
And it's not only with spouses, is that with parents
and children, children and parents, siblings, cousins.
Speaker 7 (01:14:18):
Church members. Man.
Speaker 3 (01:14:20):
We got to put aside our trivial disagreements and disputes,
and if somebody matters to you, you don't let a
day go by without letting them know they matter to you.
Speaker 7 (01:14:29):
Man.
Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
I can only imagine the guilt that husband felt when
he returned back home and the house felt and sounded still,
and he went and looked and saw his beloved, real,
his good thing that he found laying in the bed, cold.
Speaker 7 (01:14:45):
Motionless and stiff.
Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
And the only thing he probably could think is if
I had just said how good this meal was, if
I had to just said I'm sorry for not saying
how good this meal was. If only he could have said,
I could have just said, hey, man, I'm sorry. Let's
not go to bed mad y'all people.
Speaker 7 (01:15:03):
Getting up out of here.
Speaker 24 (01:15:04):
Early.
Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
In the last three or four months, I've gone to
about six or seven funerals, and only one was sixty
years old or older.
Speaker 7 (01:15:14):
Everybody else was in their fifties.
Speaker 3 (01:15:16):
We don't have as long as probably our grandparents had,
maybe even some of our parents. Man, I've seen more
parents bury their children than what God had intended that
to be. That's out of the natural art. So hey, fathers,
love on your sons, Mothers, love on your daughters. Parents
love on your children through obedience and otherwise.
Speaker 7 (01:15:37):
Siblings.
Speaker 3 (01:15:38):
Man, get over that rivalry. Love on each other, church
members take it to the altered prayer. Love on each other, husbands, wives.
That span ain't worth it. It ain't that big of
a deal. Come on, man, can you imagine going to.
Speaker 34 (01:15:54):
Bed upset with your spouse waking up still holding on
to it.
Speaker 7 (01:15:58):
Go to work a full eight to twelve hour shift.
Speaker 3 (01:16:01):
Come home and your loved ones no longer here. Don't
give yourself that type of eternal grief and guilt. Man,
make sure we love.
Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
On one another.
Speaker 3 (01:16:12):
That's today's dos and don'ts. I hope you take it
for what is worth it, not just a grain of salt.
All right, let's get back into some more desip music.
Speaker 7 (01:16:18):
This is today's does and don'ts.
Speaker 8 (01:16:23):
Shoot you shoot.
Speaker 12 (01:16:31):
I'm want to take out time and save man song.
Speaker 63 (01:16:38):
Coming up as a child in a Christian home, the
wellman of the rent brother tell me from wrong as
I grew old, Dad, Oh, I tried to do things.
Speaker 30 (01:16:57):
Now, wait, but that's when, that's when, that's when a
well the teaket in my face, n read.
Speaker 12 (01:17:08):
Up the load to take his hands over me. Said
I can't do it. The Lord staying his hand from me, can't.
Speaker 8 (01:17:30):
I can't do it. Oh no, but they'll saying.
Speaker 12 (01:17:35):
For me a straight away call myself ste in me.
Speaker 43 (01:17:43):
And it gets the grain of everything I was told.
Speaker 12 (01:17:47):
To get blind.
Speaker 17 (01:17:48):
You see.
Speaker 43 (01:17:51):
My way back to the church, to the place where
I needed to be.
Speaker 12 (01:17:57):
Crying into the loud. Gee, rescue me.
Speaker 64 (01:18:05):
The loud his hands on me?
Speaker 12 (01:18:14):
Sure can't making enough?
Speaker 8 (01:18:17):
Shall after jack hand go for ye.
Speaker 65 (01:18:26):
Oh no, show can't making noose sah.
Speaker 12 (01:18:30):
Came making love? Then tell me when you mom.
Speaker 17 (01:18:37):
The deal.
Speaker 12 (01:18:38):
But I don't know what you're talking about? Mo what
more sash And I'm beginning to look back, cool but
mad life.
Speaker 34 (01:18:51):
Think about all the key.
Speaker 8 (01:18:55):
She brought me. That that's me no no matter, Oh
the loon fool is he thing for me? I can't
do it?
Speaker 25 (01:19:11):
Oh, now take its hand and she plays can't Max says, man,
(01:19:32):
let me take his hand from me.
Speaker 30 (01:19:36):
Yes, I can't do it, no matter how her that
if he the SAIDs to do the man, I can't
do it. Oh man, I can't make it.
Speaker 12 (01:19:56):

Speaker 8 (01:20:14):

Speaker 24 (01:20:20):

Speaker 8 (01:20:31):

Speaker 12 (01:20:33):
Now they used to hit a pure of wonder say
song or something like us. Listen here, gather a loud
people and leave me. I got a story you should
hear when I want a little body.
Speaker 46 (01:20:49):
I had a dream that I was climbing up the
ladder with my seed live boy, climbing up well well, I.
Speaker 8 (01:20:59):
Say, I'm crying the play.
Speaker 51 (01:21:05):

Speaker 43 (01:21:12):

Speaker 3 (01:26:25):
It's story time with DL. The grill said, Guad, you
know what I need? All right, how y'all doing here?
We go story time with Deer. Once upon a time,
not long ago, where people.
Speaker 34 (01:26:41):
Were suspenders and lived life slow.
Speaker 3 (01:26:45):
I went to a little church in the little church
I'm on name. I ain't gonna name it because if
I name it then they'd probably be you know. I
went to a little low church couse from Saint Matthews
and uh me and some of my friends, I'm gonna
not name them to protect the guilty. We would all
go and we would get our little Sunday School money,
(01:27:07):
and we pay a little half to Sunday School, and
then we keep a little half for us, and we
would gone ahead and we'd go to the Penny Arcade,
or we'd gone down to the Chicken Hut, and we
make sure we enjoyed ourselves. But in order to do this,
we had to sneak out of the church.
Speaker 7 (01:27:24):
Yeah, we had to.
Speaker 34 (01:27:25):
Sneak out of the church. And what we found out.
Don't ask how, but what we found out is that.
Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
The church and a trap door in the pastor's office,
and that trap door you could walk down the steps
and you would be in between the walls.
Speaker 34 (01:27:39):
And then it led to another door. And then you
open up that door.
Speaker 3 (01:27:42):
And you look right, and then you look left, and
you look left, you look right, did you take off
and you run over behind this wall where the pop
machine was, and you would ease out that side door.
And if you eased out the side door, there was
no windows on that side from the sanctuary, so you
could go run up the street or down the street.
Speaker 34 (01:28:00):
Depending on whatever you had a taste for it.
Speaker 3 (01:28:02):
If you wanted to play video games for about thirty
five forty five minutes, you went to the right. If
you wanted to get a little chicken tooth piece, biscuit,
a pepper and the apple fire, you went down to
the left. It was up to your discretion. It was
uptime you preferred to go. But we would get out
the church. Now the hard part would sneaking back in
the church. So what we did was we took some
(01:28:23):
of them. You remember the cups, the paper cups to
be at the water fountain used to have a cone
at the end. So we would take some little cone
paper cups and we would fold it down and fold
it over, and we would stick it in the in
the door knob hole, you know where the little thing
come in, so it couldn't latch off in the hole.
Speaker 34 (01:28:39):
So therefore you could pull.
Speaker 27 (01:28:40):
The door and you get back here.
Speaker 34 (01:28:42):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:28:44):
So we go, we have our little good time, and
then somebody would saying, hey, y'all, it's time we best
to be getting back. Then we sound like slady good time.
We bested to be getting back. They days would be
looking for us in a moment now, So we trilley
on back. Whether we was coming from the right, one
was coming from the level.
Speaker 34 (01:29:01):
We sneaking ease back in.
Speaker 27 (01:29:03):
And I remember once in.
Speaker 34 (01:29:04):
A while it was this deacon we call him deacon
h mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:29:09):
But Deacon h would say, uh huh, caught y'all where
y'all be, Shure ain't been in service? Wonder if your
mama's and daddy is no, you ain't been in service.
Let's go upstairs and see, so he would tattle tell
on us. We would get told up, not because what
(01:29:29):
we did was so wrong, but because somebody bringing you
to your mama, and you got a black mama, embarrassed
your black mama.
Speaker 34 (01:29:36):
So she beats you because the things came out of mind.
Speaker 7 (01:29:38):
Ain't no way you're gonna have nobody thank you.
Speaker 34 (01:29:40):
So you get beat with a speech.
Speaker 7 (01:29:44):
All because deacon.
Speaker 34 (01:29:46):
H down, frackling, francing down round all in the basement.
One sunday he was getting ready to slide out one
more here. This time we was being.
Speaker 36 (01:30:00):
Extra cautious and extra kept.
Speaker 68 (01:30:03):
We eased off in the passers, off us on all fours,
hump in our backs so we didn't make too much noise,
and we leased.
Speaker 34 (01:30:14):
That door up.
Speaker 3 (01:30:15):
And one little kid went down steps. Two little kids
went down the steps.
Speaker 24 (01:30:20):
Three folk, it was all five of us.
Speaker 34 (01:30:22):
We was together. We got down and we in between
the walls and had to be white, so I was
the first. This time it was my time to peak
through the little dough.
Speaker 3 (01:30:34):
You know, you had to touch the door just enough
because them lay half when they had them long metal bars,
and if you push it too hard, they go click
the clicker.
Speaker 34 (01:30:40):
So we didn't want to click a clicker now all
because we didn't won't get caught.
Speaker 3 (01:30:44):
So we just gently touched it just a little bit,
and it swung just enough, and it was darkened between
them walls and the staircase. When the bright light came up,
and as my eyes adjusted to the bright light large
on me that day, he opened up my blinded eyes,
(01:31:04):
I saw men and they looked like trees. What I'm
trying to tell you is God showed me a sign
that we was gonna be able to leave, and we
wasn't gonna ever have to sneaker no more, because when
I looked through the door, I saw deacon h thissting
on a woman that was his wife.
Speaker 12 (01:31:23):
Who is this the real reason you didn't want?
Speaker 17 (01:31:27):
He's coming? Even Oh?
Speaker 12 (01:31:30):
The other folk said shut it, deep, shut it.
Speaker 34 (01:31:33):
I said, oh, I ain't gonna shut it.
Speaker 3 (01:31:35):
You're gonna get them. I said, no, we ain't gonna
worry about that. And they said, come on, man, don't
do that to us. We can't go no, hoarse, I'm
gonna go.
Speaker 34 (01:31:43):
Back on the steps and you won't too.
Speaker 12 (01:31:44):
But I'm coins out to freedom.
Speaker 3 (01:31:49):
And I got all the faith in the power I
needed with gold that's my shoulders red back, my chin
went up, my eyes widened, and I took one step
and he step I took.
Speaker 27 (01:32:03):
I got Closa and Voter, and as I.
Speaker 3 (01:32:06):
Stood up behind them two folks that was making out
in the basement of Carl's house, I said, hey, dp
oh boy, what you're doing down here? I said, never
mind that. I guess I ain't gonna to worry about
you telling my mama nothing else.
Speaker 34 (01:32:26):
Who who you're talking about? I ain't seeing you good,
I ain't seen you.
Speaker 36 (01:32:30):
And out the door.
Speaker 34 (01:32:31):
I went all by myself because I was the only
one they had enough faith to keep walking in favors.
Speaker 12 (01:32:38):
Now, y'all tell me tonight.
Speaker 34 (01:32:42):
Did the gree y'all tell you the truth? Or did
he tell you a lie? Let's go to the comments
before we asked and before we asked.
Speaker 69 (01:32:50):
