the returned recycled bottles from the soda stacking them on
the truck of the owner of the store, the back
bed of this truck, I would stacked that. Then after
I was stacked that, every morning I would come in
and I would have to sweep the floor or the

lobby park where you go in and shop of the store.
I did all this before we even had nag customer
get that set up. Then I would assemble myself at
the end of the counter. I never could go back
behind the counter. I could go as far as the
end of count. And then if the person that came
in that was the registrar or the person the cashier

of the day, if they needed something, Hey, could you
go back in the back and see if we got
any more left? Or could could you go out back?
Or could you go up front? Could go outside and
grab the bag of ice?

Anything that was a go for I was the gofer. Okay.

And when you working like that close proximity and you
being helpful. I don't know if it's a South thing.
I don't know if it's a gender thing, interacting with
each other, but we all know when you work with
someone closely for an extended period of time, you start
to look at that person a look different. You start
like okay, and you start having little little which comes

small talk and look stuff like that. So the owner
of the store's daughter might have been about eighteen or
nineteen in from college.

I'm fourteen fifteen, and.

She's like, oh, I got it. A da da da
da da. So do you and get so she asked
a lot because she had never been out this little
small artist all the time. So she was asked a lot,
big city, the big city, and how did and do
you feel different when you come down here? And I
know you got a whole lot of girlfriends up and
can't see. No, I ain't really gotten that.

Gonna start sweating because if she had to been fourteen
to fifteen, I know what I'm doing, but uh, she's nineteen.

got emotions balled up in and so the boss came in.

maybe he thinking I got some stuff off in my pockets.

I gotta make these deliveries. You know, that little small
town back then, I'm fourteen, fifteen years old, they would
take stuff to the elders of the town.

They can't get out, you know, get to the sea,
go and drop off the little bags of groceries.

So we go out to the back and I'm fourteen fifteen,
I'm probably looking at her almost eye the eyes. She's
still about a tad bit taller than me. She might
have been about at that time five seven is five eight.
I might have been about five six five seven ish.
But you know I'm tall enough to wear I tippy

toe this. I'm about this tongue kiss and uh so
she looked at me, she smiles, She like you ready
or you you scared on?

And that girl laid a kiss on me. It felt
like it last for about seven hours. Did she grabbed
the back of my curves, slider down my neck, place
my other hand around her waists, and push.

me to a place that I didn't hear. The tukah

do the exact same thing. Continue to pray, to pray,
ask God to give you insight on what it is

you interact with. Even with our business practices, let's learn
how that we don't always have to be the one

come together and be business partners. Let's make business practices
normalized in the black community because we need each other.

Let's work together, network together, let's uplift one another. It's

of your business, boss, you employ people that you wouldn't
go out and have dinner with because they good at
