Speaker 2 (28:39):
And welcome back to Double Trouble Radio. I'm your host,
Paul Tara, and I got two more shows after this evening.
I've been doing this for five years now and I've
had a great time and I really appreciate it. So
this up weekend we have a big February's Reunion show.
(29:07):
Februaries was a club on Long Island in Elmont, which
a lot of us cut our teeth in when we
were younger to.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Get to where we are today.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
If we're still doing it, at least some of us are,
and some people made it pretty big, and God bless them.
I'm glad somebody got off Long Island and did something.
But where I'm from on Long Island, there are a
lot of talented musicians, and for some reason we never
(29:40):
got our do like La or Seattle or that Whole
Deal or London, and we're basically known for Twisted Sister
and Billy Joel. Not that Twisted Sister is a bad thing.
Billy Joel, I guess to each their own, let's keep
it like that, and basically too much of that music
(30:05):
is what inspired me to start this. And then playing
original bands and promoting and supporting them was great, and
then the word got out and for the past five
years with Double Trouble, I've been doing that and to
(30:25):
this date, I have played seventeen hundred, three hundred and
sixty six seventeen thousand, three hundred and sixty six bands,
and I'm proud of that accomplishment and I hope I
(30:45):
helped out a lot of people. And I've had some
great sponsors over the years, All Music, Village Pub, Massapequa,
which we did a thing at last weekend, Village Pub
in Lyndon Hurst, Whiskey Rocks, Dare Music. I've had a
lot of sponsors through the years and seriously would like
(31:06):
to thank them all. Right, now, let's get back into
some music. I've got some fu manchew and I've got
some Kilo tunes in a set, so check it out
and come the nine o'clock hour, we'll be rocking with
some original bands, so stick around for that. Here's Evil

Speaker 2 (01:31:45):
If you would like to have your music played, what
you need to do is send me an MP three
with the name of the band, the name of the song,
and where you're from, and you can send that to
Paul Treasa Music twenty four at yahoo dot com and
if it rocks, I shall play it. You got about
(01:32:06):
two weeks to do so we actually less than that.
So anyway, it is now time for a classic Track
of the Week, and this week we have the one
and only Motdoople mont Theoopo, a band that David Bowie
(01:32:29):
helped inspire by writing their first hit song All the
Young Dudes and Mick Ronson and also Mick Rouths who
later went on to form Bad Company, which I'm kind
of thinking about doing a Bad Company thing right now,
(01:32:49):
because tribute bands make money, and sometimes with music you
have to separate your money making music and the love
of music as two separate things. And some people could
comprehend that, some can't, and it's all good to each
(01:33:12):
their own, but we're not walking in each other's shoes,
so it is what it is. Anyway, Mata Hoopl I
have brand new music from Mammoth.
Speaker 7 (01:33:23):
This is the deal.
Speaker 2 (01:33:25):
This video came out and it's just a video with
a two minute opening that goes to the audio. Now,
let's talk about the audio. The past couple of years,
Wolfgang has been let me tell you that last album
was phenomenal. I thought it was fantastic, and he's been
(01:33:45):
crying in the press. Don't compare me to my father.
Don't compare me to my father. And that album sounded
nothing like Van Halen, and it sounded fantastic, So kudos to.
Speaker 8 (01:33:57):
You kid, you did a great job.
Speaker 2 (01:33:59):
But with the all this crying, don't compare me to
my father. The next single you put out is basically
