about the epidemic of high blood sugar or diabetes, and
believe it or not, about one in three people one

in three Americans over the age of eighteen have elevated
glucose or elevated blood sugar, which is very, very dangerous
to have over a long period of time. We're going
to talk about how to manage that and how to
actually reverse this, so stick around for that. But we

All right, We're going to start this hour.

Talking about these pesky, annoying and dangerous microplastics that everybody
is talking about in the news these days. I don't
know if you've heard it or not, but these microplastics.
We've done a lot of shows on this talking about it,
but there's some new information out. Experts, of course, say

(03:33):
there have been a group of foods now that could
protect you and your family from these damaging microplastics and
how they impact the human body. Microplastics are unavoidable. They
are virtually unavoidable, and they lurk in almost everything you
touch and come in contact with, from food, to clothing,

(03:56):
to water, you name it. With every American now thought
to have particles in their bodies. In fact, they've done
autopsies on people and they're finding them in the brain
and the testicles and every other part of the body.
And they gradually build up in cells over time where
they wreak havoc on our hormones, increase our risk of diseases,

(04:17):
cause us to gain weight, and generate inflammation. But now
work by scientists suggest there is a way to counteract
these dangerous tiny particles, and that is by eating any
deeply colored fruit or vegetable. In a review of eighty

(04:39):
nine studies, they said that certain foods such as and
you should write this down. This should be incorporated as
part of your diet on a regular basis. Certain foods
can disarm and dismantle and protect you from these microplastics.
And they include black beans. And I looked at that
and I said, goodness, one of my favorite foods black beans.

Put them on your menu. Also blueberries. These special foods
and others contain something called antocyanins, a powerful antioxidant behind
the dark blue, the red, purple, and black pigments that
you see in certain fruits and vegetables. Antocyanins act as

antioxidants in the body, removing free radicals, these volatile molecules
that can be released by the microplastics and damage the
cells of the body. Reviewing the research, doctor Angelo Falcone,

(05:44):
who is a integrative medicine physician who is not involved
in the research set, and I quote the general rule
is the deeper and more vibrant purple, blue, and red
color foods, the higher the antose cyanin content is. That's
the secret sauce. That's what you want. Berries are the superstars,

(06:07):
particularly blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, raspberries, and bilberries. But other excellent
sources include black rice, which I eat a lot of,
by the way, and it's delicious, purple corn, red cabbage,
purple sweet potatoes, red grapes, pomegranates, asie berries. Anto Cyanins

(06:28):
are water soluble antioxidants responsible for fruits and vegetables deep
hues in those foods such as reds, purples, blues, and blacks.
These antioxidants are capable of neutralizing the free radicals released
by all of this microplastics that we are virtually swimming

(06:50):
in on a daily basis. Nobody is escaping it, limiting
the damage. That's what we want to do to the
body by neutralizing the free radicals that come off of
these microplastics. Free radicals, of course, are released by the
microplastics and can enter our cells and cause damage in
our DNA and other structures which may trigger the rise

of inflammation levels. And we know that inflammation is responsible
for more than excess and chronic inflammation is responsible for
more than one hundred different diseases, including the big CEA
I mean cancer, heart disease, you name it, strokes. Microplastics
enter the body directly by consuming foods that are contained
with them, or through the skin via contact, where they

travel into the bloodstream. Once in they enter the cells
where they can damage the DNA and disrupt hormones, raising
levels of inflammation, and experts say that these microplastics are
a source of oxidative stress, which is sort of like
the body cells rusting excessively or an imbalance of what
are called free radicals in the body linked to cell

(07:56):
damage and chronic illnesses that are mostly preventable should you
not be exposed to microplastics like heart disease, as well
as hormone imbalances and fertility problems in both men and women.
So to reduce microplastic levels in the body, experts are
recommending purchasing fewer foods in plastic packages, not using reheating

foods in plastic containers, limiting the use of single use
plastics like cutlery, and avoiding plastic kitchen tools like cutting boards. Now,
fruits and vegetables are already recommended as a way to
limit the damage the body because of their high antioxidant levels,
but a new review in the Journal of the American

(08:40):
Pharmaceutical Analysis, researchers have now suggested that certain foods can
also help to limit the damage of the body from
these microplastics. We're talking about these elements called anthocyanidins, and
they're present in fruits and vegetables. Always get organic whenever
possible organic to avoid pesticides and other problem, particularly get

those that are red, purple, and blue in color. Scientists
say the deeper the color the fruits and vegetables, the
more the antosanitins they are likely to contain and protect
you like life insurance swallowing life insurance or health insurance.
Showing how these antosanitis could help, sciences cited a study
in the animal model who in this case, were looking

(09:25):
at alterative colitis, a very bad condition of chronic intestinal
disease that causes rectrobleding, anemia, and other several problems like
hyd dehydration. And in the paper, the male animals were
fed a supplement with these antosanitids in it, these very
colorful fruits and vegetables including black rice and black beans,

and then they checked them out. They had their sperm
count and testicular health tracked.

And what did they find. They improved.

They improved rapidly, whereas they would not have had they
not been exposed or not had been given these special nutrients.
So with all this information that we're reading about how
microplastics are everywhere and they are undermining our health and

it's going to be virtually impossible to get away from
them because and they basically originate from petrochemical oil and
it's the free radicals that they generate in the body
that are creating all the problem. The goal here behind
this information and study is to neutralize the free radicals

so they don't damage your cells over a long period
of time, from wrinkles to cancer to heart.

to turn our attention to a topic that everybody needs
to know more about, and the reason for that is
that so many people have it or are in the
midst of having it, and they don't even know about it.

It's called type two diabetes and type two diabetes or
its early stage, which we call pre diabetes. It's on
the rise, big time, on the rise, with more than
one in three of every American adult being negatively impacted

by levels of glucose or blood sugar outside of healthy
optimal ranges. We're talking about one hundred and fourteen million
Americans plus have higher blood sugar than they should have,
and that it's undermining their health and longevity. Excess blood
sugar slowly poisons human kidney, It poisons our nerve cells,

It poisons blood vessels, our eyes, heart cells. Though, this
goes on and on. But here's the good news. It's preventable.
It's reversible. How you ask well by participating in healthy
lifestyles and ingesting natural supplements to fortify the body's effort

Well, doctor Bob. It's very a nice to be with
you again. It's only such a pleasure to work with
you and help to make a difference in this world.
And people should learn to know that each one of
us is responsible for our health and no one else.
And it's improved that ninety eight percent of all disease
is caused by lifestyle choices. The choices that we make

(15:56):
every day influencers are health good or bad. We have
that choice. Doctors are not responsible for our health. In fact,
they don't know anything about health. Doctors don't have a
degree in health or nutrition. They have about three hours
in the entire time they go through med school, they
get about three hours of health and nutrition. They don't

(16:17):
even know how to take care of their own health
or their family's health. And yet we go to them
thinking that they're going to help us. They can't help us.
We have the responsibility to make choices, good choices, not
bad choices. But I always tell people. We have to
learn the difference between the good and the bad choices,
and then we can make really good headway in getting

(16:38):
back to a healthy state. All disease is preventable, All
disease is reversible. We just need time and the right methods,
the right diet, the right lifestyle choices, and we can
make a huge, huge difference. And we really have a
pandemic going on right now. And I'm sure you know
the word. We experience a pandemic. A few years ago,

(17:02):
many many people died, many people still have lingering effects
from having COVID nineteen. But we're still experienced a pandemic today,
not the type we saw in COVID nineteen. But the
pandemic today is high blood sugar level and the entire
metabolic syndrome. Now, the entire metabolic syndrome, as doctor Bob

(17:26):
alluded to, in effect one of very three Americans, and
this is adults. But we also know that children about
up to eighteen percent of the children have high blood sugar,
have typtoo diabetes and also metabolic syndrome. If you have
not heard of metabolic syndrome, at the combination of conditions

(17:50):
that can include the typhoo diabetes that we're talking about today,
high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol or an imbalance of cholesterol,
high triglycerides. This is a cluster of five conditions that
make a condition called metabolic syndrome. We can get that

all under control by changing our lifestyle, by reducing the
amount of carbohydrates and sugar, and by using supplements. A
couple of very wonderful supplements, one called hintonia and the
other one called berberine, which are very very powerful, very effective,
many many studies on both of these herbs. In fact,

Intonia has been studied in Germany for over seventy years
seven zero seventy years, and it comes out of Mexico,

with the sick care system we have today. They manage disease,
they kick the can down the road until it gets
to the crisis management and then you got the hail
Mary going on, which can be very dangerous. We still
need that system, of course, because there are plenty of

people who just will not, cannot, and refuse to participate
in lifestyles that will prevent diseases. So you need the
crisis management doctor, just like you need the auto mechanic
who's there when you don't change your oil to go
ahead and change your engine once it blows up, because
you're not paying attention to the warranty, You're not paying
attention to the maintenance schedule, You're not paying attention to

the car.

are anxious to learn more about health because nobody except

out there trying to help people understand that you can
reverse disease. You can prevent disease. It's just not something
randomly coming down your way. It's not your journey, it's
not your destiny unless you choose it to be. And
you don't have to choose it to be. We can
make changes. I think people that have abused their life

for decades and then they got someone under their wings,
or they took somebody took them under their wing and
show them how to change their lifestyle choices, how to
have a better lifestyle overall, and within three to six months.
Now this we abuse it for decades, but we can
actually turn around and prevent and reverse some of these

(23:51):
diseases within three to six months. That's amazing. The body
is so forgiving that we can beat it up and
bring it back. Now, we have sometimes beat it up
too much where you might have bone on bone and
your joints. You can't reverse that anymore. It's too much damage.
So if you can catch all these things early, that's

why you don't want to wait your elderly to be healthy.
You want to begin a health program when you're young
and you still have the quality of life, You still
have a healthy body, and you just want to maintain
that the rest of your life. You don't have to
wait as you're year old and then say I wish
I would have listened to somebody. I wish I was
going to make them changes. I don't care how old

you are, what condition you're suffering from. You can make
a whole better life for yourself. Now. It may not
be perfect, but you could be so much better to listen.
I went through as my teenagers in a terrible health condition,
a lot of bad choices, a lot of bad foods,
bad diets, beer drinking. I was a mess, and my spirituality,

(24:57):
my emotions, my health were deteriorating drastically. I was way overweight.
I'm five foot five and I had a thirty six
to a thirty eight waistline. That should be for somebody
that's over six feet Right now, you know, after all
the years that I've lived, I've done this for fifty
five years, and now my waistline is between twenty eight

(25:19):
and thirty. I weigh one hundred and fifty pounds. I've
got great strength. I will work out. I eat the
best die that as possibly can, and I feel better today.
I have more energy, I have more passion. I travel
all over the world. And you can do this if
you want to do this. But I never felt better
in my life. I could say that twenty years ago,

(25:40):
or forty years ago, or fifty years ago, but I
made the choice. And once you make the choice, there's
no going back. You don't want to go back to
the quality of life that you may have from a
bad diet. No exercise, no walking, no swimming, no biking.
Whatever you're doing to maintain a good quality of life,
you can do it. Do it out.

So true and such important information. If you want to

almost feel like we have grown up together, Terry. We've
been doing this, I don't know what, at least a

couple two, three decades together. It's almost like you know,
we're we're out here, plug it away, you know, over
and over and over. And I think a lot of
people are finally starting to register this information and taking
action on it. Some people will need to hear it
two or three times. That's fine or maybe the first
time it take action. Now I want to circle back
Terry before time gets away from us, to something you

(26:45):
called hintonia. Hintonia is apparently the cure if you will,
for blood sugar. Can a person stop taking it when
their blood sugar comes down? Because with the drugs that
are used for diabetes, those drugs are forever. You're on
those drugs for the rest of your life, and the
side effects will be chasing you all the way to

the end, impacting you. But is is the supplement histonia
or the nutrient histonia in the supplement called soup controlled D.
Soup controlled D, is this histonia an element that needs
to be taken forever?

Well, you may not have to take it forever, because
I hope along with taking a supplement to lower your
blood shiger level and you'r a one C that you
also adopt a very good healthy diet. You know, we're
faking a pandemic of metabolic syndrome man type two diabetes.
It's not like COVID nineteen where people are dying quickly

and unnecessarily, but we are still being the quality of
life is deteriorating drastically, and we don't have the quality
of life that we should have and over time it
shortens our lifespan, our health span. So we really need
to encourage a healthy diet along with the use of antonia.
And it makes a huge impact because antonio by itself,

from all the scientific studies done in Germany, it lowers
a one C by ten percent. It improves fasting and
blochery levels after a meal by twenty three percent and
twenty four percent respectively. It bunces the total cholesterol and
reduces triglyceride levels. Now this is really really important. It

reduces the medication that if people are on medication and
they take antonia along with the medication, which you can do.
There's no side effects, there's no counter edication, and you
will reduce by thirty nine percent of your medication. But
I would also talk to your doctor. If you're going
to use antonia and medication, please let your doctor know

what you're doing. But some don't even need to take
any medication after they started taking antonia. But this is
something you do with your doctor's advice and a professional
