talk about something we all take for granted until it
starts to wobble. And that's your pet's health. That vibrant energy,
that glossy coat, those playful leaps onto your couch. They
might be fading faster than you realize. And here's the
scary part. You may not notice until your furry friend
(01:47):
is already struggling. New research shows that everyday choices, from
relying solely on processed kibble to skipping key nutrients, it
could silently be sabotaging your pet's vitality one meal at
a time. Today, we're going to talk about the hidden
(02:07):
threats that are lurking in your pet's bowl. Will reveal
how synthetic supplements they might fall short, like giving your
dog a vitamin pill instead of a real liver that's
packed with those nature's perfect nutrients. We'll uncover while that
balanced commercial pet food, it could still leave critical gaps
(02:30):
in their diet. And most shockingly, we'll dive into how
common medications might be depleting essential nutrients without you even knowing.
But here's the good news the decline. It isn't always
have to It doesn't always have to happen. In a
few moments, I'm going to share real life success stories
(02:52):
like Buddy, the Labrador retriever, who went from sluggish to
unstoppable with just one whole food week, and Max, the
German shepherd, whose arthritis improved quite a bit with targeted supplementation.
These aren't miracles, they're science based strategies that anyone can use.

(04:20):
So grab a notebook and maybe a treat for your
furry copilot and let's get started. Because when it comes
to your pets health, good enough isn't always good enough.
We want them to thrive. So let's make it happen together.
And this is where nature meets science and optimal pet
supplementation and what it is today. Let's talk more about
(04:43):
your best friends, your cuddly family member that can't really
tell you if he or she is nutrient deficient. We're
talking about the ultimate pet nutrition strategy where whole foods
and targeted supplements collide to create peak health and vitality
for your pets. I'll cut right to the chase your
(05:04):
pets bowl. It shouldn't be a mix of nature's genius
in scientific precision. It should be a case of studies
that make you think supplementation for your pets. Is it
necessary not just something that you see on the store shelves.
So let's get started with this. We should picture a
(05:27):
shiny coated energetic lab that's named Buddy. His owner Sarah
fed him premium kibble his whole life, yet he struggled
with dry skin and low energy. And when Sarah switched
to adding just one whole food that was beef liver,
Buddy transformed. You might ask why, because liver isn't just
(05:49):
vitamin A in a fancy package. It's a living nutrient
dense powerhouse with cofactors like copper and zinc that synthetic
vitamins they can't rep kate. Here's the science behind it.
Whole foods work with your pet's biology. They're like a symphony.
Every nutrient plays its part, supported by enzymes and phito
(06:13):
nutrients that make absorption effortless, and synthetic supplements. They're solo artists.
A lot of times they're good, but not great. So
the keys for Buddy his liver regime. It gave him
natural iron for energy, It had bioavailable B twelve for
(06:37):
nerve health. It had enzymes his body recognized instantly, and
the best part. Sarah didn't need a chemistry degree to
make it work. What she did is she had a
few teaspoons of grated liver and put it over his meals,
and Buddy went from being sluggish to sprinting after squirrels
(06:59):
like a teenager. Again. Now I got another example here.
Let's talk about Misty, a Persian cat with a sensitive stomach.
Her owner, Mark, tried every probiotic capsule on the market
until he introduced fermeted goat's milk. This whole food probiotic
delivered live cultures, plus digestive enzymes and calcium, all in
(07:24):
a form Misty's gut adored. No more hair balls and
no more picky eating, just a happy cat and a
relieved human. The moral of the story whole foods often
solve problems. We can't over complicate when we're taking pills.
But let's be real, sometimes whole foods need backup. I'll
(07:47):
give you another example of Max was a senior German
shepherd with arthritis. His diet included bone broth, which I
consider nature's joint elixir, but his stiff hips needed extra firepower.
That's when he added a high quality as owner added
a high quality Condroiden sulfate supplement. It's a targeted tool
(08:11):
to reduce inflammation faster than the food alone. And why
condroiden because it's a specific building block for cartilage and
Max's worn joints needed concentrated support. And the results within
weeks he was climbing stairs again, something his owner thought
was impossible at this stage's age. So for listeners some
(08:36):
tips here. Targeted supplements work best when you've already built
that whole food foundation and you know that there's a
diagnosed efficiency or condition, and I always suggest choosing third
party tested products that don't include those fillers. I want
(08:58):
to give another example of of a pet. It's Luna.
It's a rescue cat with severe anxiety. While her diet
included trip to fan Rich Turkey, a natural mood supporter,
her owner added l thionine supplement. It calmed her nervous
(09:18):
system during the thunderstorms or just who's knocking out the door?
The anxiety that the cat was having whole foods laid
that grand work. But the amino acid supplement, a compound
that is found in things even for humans like green tea.
It gave her that extra edge to stay relaxed. So
(09:41):
the takeaway Luna's turkey dinners prevented deficiencies, but her supplement
addressed in acute stress response. That's what I'm talking about
with the power between whole foods and the supplementation when necessary.
So what's the winning formula. It's simple, feed like they're
(10:03):
a wild animal, and supplement like a scientist. You start
with whole foods to cover eighty percent of the needs,
then add targeted supplements for the remaining twenty percent, like
Buddy's liver or Max's joint supplement. Remember, your pets health
isn't It doesn't have to be a dogma. It's about
(10:23):
using every tool nature in modern science offers. Now you
got that, you can go forth experiment wisely and watch
your pet thrive. All right, folks, we're coming up on
a break, but don't wander off just yet. We're gonna
have a very special guest after the break, and if
you've got questions, I want to remind you to call

And remember, if you've got pressing health questions, we're just
a phone call away at eight hundred six zero six
eighty two to two. That's eight hundred six zero six
eight eighty two to two. Let's keep growing, learning and
(11:57):
empowering each other, because your health deserves that spotlight. All right,
We've been talking about a little different perspective on whole
health food supplementation for pets and as a doctor, mainly
for humans, but occasionally patients will ask about their pets,
and I've seen firsthand how nutrition transforms lives, both human
(12:19):
and animal. But here's something to think about. We're over
complicating pet health when while we're overlooking these nature's simplest solutions.
The pets supplement industry is booming with synthetic vitamins and
flashy marketing. But the truth is our animals thrive on
(12:39):
real food just as they would in a wild and
take liver for example, it's nature's original multivitamin. It's packed
with bioavailable iron vitamin A in B twelve. Yet most
pet owners reach for process kibble that's fortified with synthetic
nutrients that lack the enzymes and the cofactors needed for
(13:03):
proper absorption. It's like building a house with half the
bricks missing. Now, don't get me wrong. Targeted supplements have
their place, like the example I gave with Max, that
senior German shepherd with arthritis. He needed that extra joint support,
so his owner paired his bone broth diet with chondroid
(13:26):
and sulfate. But here's the critical distinction. Supplements should enhance
whole foods and not replace them, and the real tragedy here.
Many pets suffer from preventable deficiencies simply because we've been
sold the idea that complete and balanced comes from a bag.
(13:51):
You can change your dog with chronic skin issues that
resolved with sardines. That's a natural omega resource. Cats whose
digestion transformed with fermented milk, those aren't miracle cures, their
nature's blueprint for health. So my prescription start with species
(14:13):
appropriate whole foods. Then maybe that twenty percent we discussed
layer in high quality supplements for their specific needs. Because
at the end of the day, our pets don't need
all the pills. They need us to remember what real
nutrition looks like and join us. Now, our guest and
(14:35):
friend of the show is about to reveal the stunning
results of one of nature's most powerful whole foods, a
whole food supplement, a secret Polynesian healers have trusted for centuries,
and how it can help your pet's health, in your health.
And let me tell you what modern science is now
confirming about this ancient superfruit will blow your mind. Please
(14:58):
join me in welcoming a vision and functional foods in
a true pioneer in tropical nutraceuticals, it's mister Larry Logsden,
founder of Tahiti Trader in one of the world's leading
researchers in bioactive plant compounds, and for decades, Larry has
dedicated his life to unlocking the healing wisdom of traditional
Polynesian medicine, in particular the extraordinary benefits of nony fruit,
(15:24):
a fruit that's so podent it was once called the
aspirin of the ancients, and from supporting immune function to
promoting cellular generation, nony is packed with compounds that sciences
only beginning to fully understand, and today Larry will share
grand breaking research on how this superfruit outperforms synthetic supplements,
(15:48):
delivering real measurable results for everything from inflammation to energy levels.
So whether you're struggling with chronic health issues, or your
pet is, or you're simply looking to optimize your wellness,
this conversation could be the missing link you've been searching for.
So with that, Larry, Welcome to The Doctor Bob Martin Show.
(16:09):
How are you today?
Speaker 3 (16:11):
I'm good, Doctor Brockman, how are you doing.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
I'm doing fantastic well. Thanks for joining us today and
talking about this. I think a lot of listeners this
will resonate with because, as we discussed a lot of times,
owners of pets they'll do anything for their pets. They're
an extension of their family, almost one of their kids.
So Larry, with studies showing that twenty to twenty five
(16:37):
percent of all dogs suffer from osteoarthritis, in up to
eighty percent of senior dogs experiencing joint pain, why do
you think many pet owners still miss early signs of
chronic inflammation in their pets.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Well, that's a good question, doctor Brockman. I think the
big problem is most people think, hey, it's gonna be okay,
had him a little bit, Okay, it's good. He's just
getting a little old folks. Not the way it's supposed
to be. And I can tell you from personal experience
with my older, older dogs that this is not the
(17:13):
way it is. If you know what you're looking for.
If they start slowing down, you got a problem. If
you start noticing that they eke and ook a little bit,
when they get up and down, and you know, you
notice that there's some problems, this is what's going on.
And it's just babe, it's it's pain and inflammation and
coming from the diet. And just as you've led the
(17:34):
story with that these things are so important to get
good food. Most people don't know what good food is.
I think it comes out of a bag of parenna
something or other. And you know, I'm not saying it's
a bad product. I'm saying it's not how the dog
would live in the wild. The dog we live in
on probably meets what do you think.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Doc, Yeah, exactly, And that's and that's what I almost
think of kibble as that cereal that's sitting in your
in your cabinet that you're trying to get your kids
to avoid eating because it's yeah, it is there and
it's giving them some nutrients, but because those are fortified,
but it also has some of the things that are
(18:17):
not so good in there, the things that the dog
also may not be sugar on the label, it's things
like corn that will be processed into sugar and that
causes that chronic inflammation. And that's that's really what what
some of this is is about trying to recognize that
just because we think that what comes in that bag
(18:38):
should be exactly what our dog should eat and that
should be it or a cat, that's that's not true.
You know, maybe we can go to the store and
pick up some organic beef liver or what you led
me to. You know, you were telling tell me about
how you've had people that have contacted you and said
they use nony juice for their pets.
Speaker 3 (18:59):
They do. In fact, that's a very good point. You see,
what happens in this life is that nature will supply
everything you need to heal, whether it's you or your pet. Now,
my dad grew up on a farm, as you know,
we're farming people from Iowa, and the dogs got the
(19:24):
scraps from the table, they got the bones, they got
all the things that were left over, and they were
the healthiest dogs that live out seventeen eighteen years before
of course end of life. Most people today are lucky
to get ten or twelve. And why is that because
there's too many additives to the food to try and
strengthen the food, because the food is already naked. What
(19:47):
no me choose does, folks, is it brings into the
dog's diet all the nutrients they need to get the
body back in balance, so it starts healing itself like
it's supposed to do. And that is the key element here. Now,
when it comes to pain and inflammation, nony has an
amazing ability to manage the cocks two enzyme. That's a
(20:10):
big deal because that's what causes inflammation and that's what
the cause of additional pain comes from. So you know,
most animals who start on nony juice start feeling better.
And that's a big deal because when your dog starts
seeing a difference, guess what, he's gonna be a whole
lot better. Just keep doing what you're doing. Hey, it's
good for you too. You're gonna really enjoy the way
(20:32):
you feel when you drink it as well.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yeah, we're talking with Larry logsd and the owner of
he's a functional food researcher and he's also the owner
of Tahiti Trader, which makes no ney juice, and we're
talking about the benefits of your pets in no ney juice.
And just stick around. We're going to come right back
to this conversation. You're listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
(21:00):
Are you waiting for the writing excuse?
Speaker 4 (21:03):
Are you waiting for same shoes? Money and studies? Fine?
Speaker 5 (21:25):
Money?
Speaker 2 (21:26):
You welcome back. You're listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and we're all about smarter living,
even for your pets and teaching you to become your
own best doctor most of the time. Remember, if you've
got questions about your health or your pets health, nutrition,
(21:46):
or anything in between, you can call our toll free
hotline at eight hundred six or O six eight eight
two to two. That's where two licensed positions, Doctor Bob
and I are standing by to help you unlock your
best self, maybe even your pet's best self. That's a
eight hundred six zero six eight eight two to two. Again,
eight hundred six zero six eight eight two to two.
Let's get back into it with Larry Logsden, the CEO
(22:09):
of Tahiti Trader, the makers of nony juice, and he's
also a functional food researcher. And we've been talking about
your pets and and Larry, large breeds like labs in
German shepherds are disportunately affected by conditions like hip dysplasia.
What specific preventive measures would you recommend for owners that
(22:32):
are these at risk breeds, and how maybe chronic inflammation
sets in, arthritis sets in, and how nony juice may help.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Well. Doctor, the thing is you can make a difference
in that animal's life, and this is something you can
actually measure, get yourself a bottle of our Island style juice,
give them a half an ounce to an ounce a
day for a week, and you're going to notice a
big difference in that animal because the hippleasia is just
(23:01):
the result of arthritis, which is the result of COX
two enzyme, which is the result of poor nutrition. This
will help the body heal. And this is what you
want to try and do, is get the healing going,
and the animal is gonna respond right away. You're gonna
notice it. In fact, when you open the bottle, he's
gonna want to lick right out of your hands that juice.
And this is important, folks, because whether your animal is
(23:24):
suffering from hyptoslesia or maybe it's a neuropathic pain or
possibly cancer pain, which is very common, you'll find that
it all clears up. In fact, I have one of
our Nony users who used the Nony juice on their
German shepherd had a big cancer tumor on their lip
and instead of six weeks, was gone. So guess what,
(23:48):
It's all doable, folks. You just have to decide what
you want. Let the body heal itself. I would say
so with Nony juice, and in fact, I think we
might even have an audio clip we could share.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah, brought that interview to my attention. If we can
play that audio.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Good morning, Pam, how are you doing today?
Speaker 5 (24:06):
I'm good? How are you doing well?
Speaker 3 (24:08):
I heard you've been having some fun with the nony
and even you might be even having the fun with
the dogs or something.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Oh, yes, absolutely absolutely. We We own One of our
dogs is a Belgian mallin law and she got an
injury early on when we had gotten her and seemed
to come out of it fine, but then later she
would have trouble with her shoulder and her neck and
her fine wanting to come out. We came across a
(24:38):
wonderful pet chiropractor and that helped immensely. But in between
till we could get her there or after an adjustment,
we would use the nony at half the human dos.
And it is amazing, It's absolutely amazing.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
What did you see happened there for the dog?
Speaker 5 (24:57):
Oh, just a tremendous change in the way she was moving,
the way she was and you could see that the
pain was being relieved. And so we're just we're thrilled.
We know it's worked for us for years We love
you All's product because first of all, the purity of it.
We love the purity and the strength of it because
it just it's an incredible, incredible product and we have
(25:21):
never had a problem and the dogs love the taste,
so you know, it works out perfect.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Well, Pam, if you're a doug, what's not to love
about it.
Speaker 5 (25:35):
It's just that's exactly right and it and it does.
It means, it means relief for them, you know, when
they've had some sort of injury or or you know,
just and we've had dogs that were older and just
you know, with the natural some of them, the natural
deteriorations that they can have, and it worked tremendously when
they were having a rough day.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
And that's that's awesome news. You know. What we find
is that what the pain is really related to is
the inflammation, absolutely, and that's what that's what it is
a natural manager of the COX two enzyme. And when
the COX two is under control, then you don't have
the inflammation, you don't have the pain.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
Absolutely, yes, and we're yeah, we're fully aware. And that
was one of the things that drew me to it
was the fact that it is a wonderful anti inflammatory. Also,
we've been on to know you for years and years,
but we love you guys. Are are one of the
companies out there. They still put it in glass, but
we could not be more thrilled with your product. And
(26:39):
I was. I was so excited when I found it,
when I saw the strength of it, the purity of it,
and just the effectiveness like I said, on pain it
is and no risk of any form of addiction, which
is wonderful to find a pain reliever that's that good,
but non addictive.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
All right, Larry, thank you for sharing that interview with Pam.
She was talking about one of those points grabbed my attention.
She said, it's one of the few things that has
uses glass still And why is that so important?
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Larry, Well, doctor glass in holding a product is the
only true way to hold a vacuum and keep out
outside air. See plastics, folks, They actually will breathe, You
can actually squeeze them, and they are move and the
only reason they move is because airr is moving and
(27:34):
that is not what you want. Number one. Number two,
plastics have got a way that they continue to shed
their microplastic into the solution. And microplastics are the ones
that upset your hormone systems and a lot of other
problems too, and you don't have any of that with glass.
(27:54):
Glass is perfect and it'll hold it for years and
years and years.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
So you get the good stuff with the no need
juice on the inside without the risk of microplastics. So
that's that's a win for everybody, all right, Larry, you
also brought to my attention about a Doctor Bob Martin
Show special for our listeners. Can you elaborate on that please?
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Yeah, we have a special, folks for you to try
this out. It is our Island Style twin pack. Now,
the Island Style is our fermented juice, and this is
the one that doesn't taste all that great because it's
like a vinegar, but it is the potent stuff even
has got the pulp in there, just like orange juice
(28:37):
does when it's fresh. All that's in there. And we're
going to give you a twin pack, two bottles, and
we're going to give you a shot glass measured, and
our new book Building an Amazing Immune System and all
this is going to be at sixty seven ninety five,
which is a fantastic offer. It's about thirty percent off
buying all those items separately, and you'll find it on

the Doctor Bob Martin Special and you'll love it. You'll
love it, love it, love.
Speaker 2 (29:09):

can measure, and the book that you wrote on how
to build an Amazing Immune System. And that's all for
Doctor Bob Martin Show listeners at six sixty seven ninety five,
which is about thirty percent off. All right, Larry, thank

Now let's dive back into our conversation with Larry Logs
(31:19):
and the CEO of Tahiti Trader and a functional food
researcher And Larry, I know meal to get this question?
Can you tell our listeners what to expect on as
far as dosage for their pets? How should they give
no need juice to their pets?
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Well, that's a very good question, doctor Brockman. What I suggest,
folks is understand the animal is going to be about
half of what a human would get. So here's the thing.
If you have one hundred and fifty pound human, you
have about one ounce of no need juice, and so
for an animal, what half that would do it, especially
(31:57):
it's a large animal. But you can also adjust depending
on how the animal's responding. If it's responding poorly, you
need to add more, finance, some more. It's safe. There's nothing,
no addiction, anything I have to worry about. If you
have a very very small animal, you might have to
use a dropper. Stopper in order to figure out how
much to use. It would be less than half an ounce.
(32:19):
But it's fairly simple, folks. It's it's not rocket science.
The animals like the way it tastes and they'll lick
it right out of your hands, so let them figure
it out for you.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Thank you for that, Larry. And Larry, you also brought
to my attention some research studies on nony and in pets.
Can you or animals? Can you? Can you give the
listeners some insight on that?
Speaker 3 (34:03):
Well, yes, animals, that it had been conducted on various
types of animals, particularly rodents, which are so much easier
to work with because they're small enough. But they found
that nony extracts reduced the pain perception and the inflammation
levels in rodents. Now we're talking about rats here, folks,
but animals almost same. If he works on one, it
(34:25):
works on the other. Fact, it'll work on you.
Speaker 2 (34:29):
And Larry, can you explain how the compounds in nony
work differently than maybe what I said earlier, which was
that this was nony was considered the aspirin for the ancients.
How does that compare two traditional nsets or anti inflammatories,
and how does that work for say, dogs or cats
(34:50):
or whatever pets you may have.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Well, nony's different, folks. It is a natural anti inflammatory,
of course, it's just normal property. See it carries it
a special compound called scopolitan and amanthe call and these
flavonoids that work together to help reduce inflammation and pain
in the joints and in the muscle connective tissue, which
is where the usually the pain's coming from. And it
(35:16):
works naturally. So the body is healing itself through these compounds.
And by the way, it's just a member of one
hundred and sixty five other compounds that's only found in
nony nowhere else, and the body loves it. It uses
these compounds to help manage the COX two enzyme, which
is important because when you reduce the enzyme, you also
(35:37):
reduce the inflammation and the swelling. That's a big deal.
You want to cut that back so the animal or
yourself can feel better. Right now. There's also the antioxidant
protection that nony brings, and these antioxidants work long term.
That's a big deal. You know where it isn't just
take it every time every four hours. This is going
(35:57):
to last days at a time. This is important because
you want long term results. Well. The reason why is
because the animal or yourself is healing and the body
is doing the stuff it's supposed to do, and you
don't need another drug to get it done.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
And you've also given me some information about an example
of a dog that recovered from ACL surgery and also
another one that was using nony in conjunction with cancer treatment.
And when we come back, I want to hit that,
just a little bit on how nony can help. You
mentioned the antioxidants, the anti inflammatories. There's a lot to
(36:36):
nony and I want to hit that when we come
back from break and listeners. Again, we're up on a break,
but the health conversation doesn't stop there. If you've got
health related questions or we need wellness tips or anything
in between, Doctor Bob and I are just a phone
call away at eight hundred six or six eight eight
two to two. Again, that's eight hundred six or six
eight eight two to two. You're listening to the Doctor
Bob Martin Show. And we said.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
Sunday out of you.
Speaker 2 (37:04):
Can change to them, like you, doctor, what's a gift?
Speaker 5 (37:13):
And you got internity to think about what you do
with it?
Speaker 2 (37:19):
What did you.
Speaker 3 (37:20):
Do with it? What did I do with it? What
would I do it?
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Got?
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Welcome back, Doctor Adam Brockman here as we returned to
The Doctor Bob Martin Show, America's number one health talk
radio program, and well folks, we've reached the end of
another healthy hour here on the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
If you're just now joining us, today we dove into
the world of whole food nutrition and targeted supplementation for
(37:52):
our furry family members. I encourage you to re listen
to the show or listen to it for the first
time again. We've been with Larry Logsden, the CEO of
Tahiti Trader, the makers of nony juice, and he's a
functional food expert. He's been talking about some of the
benefits and before break we were talking about a dog
that was going through cancer treatment and using nony juice
(38:15):
at the same time. And also so Larry, I want
you to expand on that.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
Well, Doctor Brockman, what we have, folks, is this about
ninety million dogs here in the US, and of them,
about twenty to twenty five percent of these animals are
suffering from Hosteoparthis are theothritis pain and these dogs are
even worse than they get older, and about eighty percent
of these are going to the veterinarian trying to solve
(38:41):
a pain problem. Nony Juice is the natural solution for
these problems because the body wants to heal itself and
the foods just simply don't have what it needs. It's
an amazing thing. If you have a dog with cancer,
you're going to find that they do better, their inflammation
under control. Many people find that their dogs actually recover
from it all through the health of the Nooney juice.
(39:04):
Whether it's that or neuropathic pain, spinalis orders, it doesn't matter.
You're going to find that there is tremendous benefit from
just giving them the Nony juice. It'll help you too,
by the way. It's an amazing product and I'll welcome
you to give it a try.
Speaker 2 (39:19):
Larry give give our listeners the Doctor Bob Martin Show
special that you were kind enough to offer. Please well, we.
Speaker 3 (39:27):
