(00:52):
eight twenty two. That's eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight twenty two. It's the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Good day to you. You're listening to The Doctor Bob
Martin Show, America's number one health talk radio program, where
we separate fact from fiction and put your health freedom first.
Doctor Adam Brockman here, and let me tell you this
is where the rubber meets the row when it comes
to honest, no nonsense health information. We have a great
(01:24):
show for you today and yes, doctor Bob is with me.
Doctor Bob, can you give our listeners a quick hello.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
Hey, Hello, live and kicking, so glad to be with you.
By the way, doctor Brockman, I was listening to the
first hour of the show that you interviewed doctor Tony O'Donnell,
who has written about fifteen books. He's just an incredible guy.
He's working for Robert F. Kennedy Junior, the Health and
Human Services Secretary now in his mega group, and how
(01:56):
they're trying to make America healthy again because the medical
profession has allowed our healthcare system to go to the
bottom of the barrel. We're getting beat by third world
countries because we're not paying attention to educating people. We're
trying to stifle the whole idea behind freedom of expression
(02:17):
and conversation with teaching people how to get healthy. The
medical profession has a long history of trying to put
everybody that competes against them out of business, and they
do that by basically lying to the public, you know,
saying that doctors of homeopathy or quacks and doctors of
nature apathy nature pathic physicians or quacks, even though they
(02:40):
have to be licensed by the same or similar bodies
as they are licensing through state and governmental agencies, they
try to put other practitioners who dare to compete with
them in the marketplace. The chiropractic physicians, even at one time,
even the doos they tried to put out of business.
And then they eventually, you know, extended their tent and
(03:01):
engulfed the osteopathic profession and they're part of the allopathic
profession today. So now they're okay because they're the ones
who are prescribing all of the pharmaceutical drugs and doing
all the surgery too, which is necessary. We're not knocking them,
We're just saying, hello, Americans ought to have the right
to choose what type of healthcare they want to receive,
(03:25):
especially if it's regulated safe and effective deemed by governmental agencies,
which those healing arts that I just mentioned are. But
when the healing arts of there that think that they
are all that and want to put something out of business,
they'll do everything they can. And they've actually been found
guilty of monopolistic practices and violating the Sherman Anti Trust
(03:47):
Act in the past, so we know that this occurs,
and this radio show is dedicated to keeping it from
happening again. How's that.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah, you're exactly right. There's been a lot of bullying
in healthcare for a long time. I actually like to
see a lot of the allopathic model their backs against
the wall now, and it should be it's about making
America healthy again.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, it's people being empowered where you know, finally, finally
the public understands that yes, medical drugs and pharmaceutical drugs
are necessary and they can be life saving, but they
can also take your life when they're not used judiciously.
And I'm here to tell you they're not used judiciously.
(04:30):
We have all kinds of problems with too many people
taking too many drugs. The average person over the age
of sixty five is on six or more drugs. We
can't find any body of water anywhere I walked up
to recently on a vacation, I walked up to the ocean,
the vast ocean, and there was a large sign saying warning,
(04:51):
and there was a big word spelled right underneath that warning.
Urine samples of the ocean have been found to contain
pharmaceutical drugs, so swim at your own risk. What's happening here,
doctor Brockman, is that so many people are taking drugs,
most of which are unnecessary. We know that because our
(05:13):
health in the America sucks. We have other countries that
are outperforming, as you know, backwater countries, third world countries,
and they don't take drugs, and yet they're longevity. Their
health and wellness is superior than ours with all the
drugs we're giving and all the surgeries are doing, many
of which are unnecessary. Some are very necessary. It can
(05:35):
be life saving. But we're being outperformed. And so now
the public is wising up to all of this. They're
getting smart thanks to people like you and others who
are teaching it, and they're taking charge of their health.
It's certainly a lot more economic to do that, and
it's a lot safer to not take drugs when you
don't need them than to take them and look for
the potential seventy average seventy of adverse side effect risks
(05:59):
of every time they swallow a pharmaceutical drug they perhaps
don't need.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Mm hmm, yeah, you're exactly right. You're exactly right, doctor Bob.
And uh and listeners. There you have it, the man,
the myth, the legend, Doctor Bob. He is in the
building today and so but doctor.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Bob's my hand every once while.

where health truth meets common sense and your health is
(07:25):
the ultimate goal. Let's get started, Doctor Bob. You gave
a good segue, and I want to talk about a
little bit more about the allopathic model. Here. I'm going
to talk about the silent final days of Hulk Hogan.
The wrestling legend is traffic declined from a surgery gone wrong.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
The wrestling nobody's hearing anything about his death being related
to a surgery. You're the first one to bring it up.
I'm amazed.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Well, they've been talking about the cardiac arrest, but I
want to tell the listeners there's a little bit more
to the story and the wrestling world it was left
in shock on July twenty fourth when news broke that
WWE Hall of Famer Hal Cogan had passed away at
the age of seventy one. But behind the headlines lay
(08:13):
a heartbreaking story of the man who, in his final days,
was unable to speak, a cruel twist for a superstar
whose voice had once electrified millions. Hulk His health struggles
began in May of this year, when he underwent what
was described as a little fusion procedure on his neck.
(08:38):
The surgery surgery. The surgery intended to address long standing
cervical issues. A spokesman, they assured fans that Hulk was
making a good recovery, and he even made a public
appearance with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis shortly afterward. But by
(08:58):
early July, things took a little bit of a turn.
Reports emerged that Hulk had suffered an adverse reaction to
the surgery, leaving him unable to speak. His trachia had
reportedly been damaged, rendering the man known for his booming
voice silent. Jimmy Hart, which is a long time Hogan
(09:21):
manager and friend, was among the first to confirm the
severity of this situation. He said, Hogan's not doing well.
He reported that to another one of Hogan's friends, a
controversial friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, and Jimmy said, he
can't speak. His trachia or whatever was damaged and he's
(09:41):
having problems. It does not look good. It does not
look good at all. That was his exact words, and
with hospital care no longer able to provide further treatment,
Hogan was transported to his Florida home, where he was
placed in a hospital bed under round the clock medical supervision.
(10:02):
The move was described as a way to keep him
comfortable while avoiding the risk of prolonged hospitalization, you know,
such as bed sores and muscle atrophy. Bubba the Love Sponge,
who had a complicated relationship with Hogan, to say the least,
he shared these details from a hospital security guard. He
was transported to his house, but he was still in
(10:23):
his hospital bed. It's like he's at the hospital. They've
gone as far as they can go at the hospital.
They're just trying to keep him comfortable. And the security
guard also revealed the extreme measures taken in sure Hogan's
privacy during the transfer. The links they went to to
make sure nobody saw him being transported was like a
the stuff that Michael Jackson type of stuff is what
(10:44):
it was described. Toys and Doctor Bob, we're coming up
on a break and we're gonna get right back into
the story. On HAULK. You're listening to the Doctor Bob
Martin Show. Don't go anywhere A welcome back. You're listening
(11:28):
to the Doctor Bob Martin Show. And remember, if you've
got questions about natural health, nutrition, or anything in between.
Our toll free hotline is always open for you. It's
eight hundred six zero six eight eight two two two.
Licensed physicians, Doctor Bob and myself are standing by to
help you unlock your best self. It's eight hundred six
(11:49):
zero six eight eight two two again, eight hundred six
zero six eight eight two two. Let's get right back
in the story about hul Cogan in his final days,
they were a star contrast to the larger than life
personality that he had cultivated over decades. He rose to
fame in the nineteen eighties as HAULK Hogan, becoming the
face of WWE, and then back then it was WWF
(12:12):
in a pulp, a pop culture icon. His catchphrases if
you could say with me, doctor Bob, what are you
gonna do? Brother? And Hulkomania is running wild became part
of his larger than life legacy, But now his legacy
is also It was marred by controversy, and despite this turmoil,
Hogan remained a beloved figure to many. Those final public appearances,
(12:35):
including that photo op we were talking about with h
with Governor DeSantis, showed a man that was still eager
to engage with fans and projects, but those close to
him noticed that he seemed unwell, and then by early
July he could he couldn't speak, and then those rumors
started to swirl. Hogan was on his deathbed, with family
(12:56):
members reportedly gathering to say their goodbyes. So doctor Bob
Hogan's death was attributed to cardiac arrest, but tragged in
for this guy that seemed invincible. The tributes poured in
from federal wrestlers fans all morning this loss, but his
inability to speak in the last days, that metaphor for
(13:19):
that and the surgery that caused this is that defining moment.
And and that's what I think. It serves as a
sombering reminder of the risk behind spinal procedures, especially for
aging athletes. And I want to I want to get
your opinion on this, and I want to go in
this a little bit further because I've actually treated professional
wrestlers before, you.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Guys have I you know, chronologically is probably physiologically ninety
some at the time. However, it just gets back to
the point of this. I mean, they basically sent him
home to die after they botched his surgery. Does anybody
want to ever go through that. I hope not when
you have, you know, a non life threatening situation to
(14:02):
begin with. He had neck pain. Maybe there was a
lot of pain, and they just decided to do the
old medical hell, Mary, okay, so we probably are drugging him.
That's not working. We have you know who knows what
was offered up to Hulk Hogan. But ultimately somebody said, oh,
come on in, let's do spinal surgery on you. And
(14:23):
they eventually damaged him his trachia, his wind tube to
the point where he couldn't breathe and talk, and they
just sent him home to die like hospice. How did
that happen? Well, maybe it happened during the intubation process
to have spinal surgery, and usually they come in from
the front now and at the back. It could have
damaged it that way during the surgery itself. Just like
(14:45):
Joan Rivers, they killed her too in unnecessary surgery for
some vocal core problem. You may remember that Joan Rivers,
the comedian you have now. And this the tragedy here,
doctor Brockman, is this happens every single day in hospitals
all over America that you never hear about because you know,
(15:06):
Joe Sixpack and Sally nobody on the street. Nobody knows them,
So mainstream media doesn't pick up on it, they don't
report on it. But this is what happens when you
go into serious life threatening surgery, spinal surgery, when you
ought to not do that, especially at the age that he
was and the shape that he was in. I asked
(15:28):
myself the question, what could have been done instead of
spinal surgery to help this man? He would be alive today.
But does that get reported in the mainstream media. No,
not one single word. Have I heard on multiple reports
about the next surgery and what led to his death ultimately,
(15:54):
which eventually ended up in his heart. That's how he died. Eventually.
If you're in pain and they throw enough drugs at
you to keep you quieted down, you will eventually die
from something because all that poison in your blood stream,
whether it be fentanyl or propofal, or ibuprofen or approxia,
(16:15):
it doesn't matter. The chemical soup eventually imbalances the whole
electrical system of your heart. And that's what the cardiac
arrest is all about. It's not about a heart attack
as in a blood clot as in a myocardial infarction,
but the imbalance of the heart electrical system having to
(16:36):
deal with this multiple polypharmacy approach to just shut the
man up and send him home because we screwed him
over with a surgery and botched the surgery and nicked
his trachea and we couldn't fix it, so we just
sent him home like hospice. It's really sad, doctor Brockman.
But this goes on every single day in America because
people have faith in those surgeons that they're gonna go
(16:59):
in and just get it taken care of, rather than
send them over to the acupuncturist, send them to the chiropractor,
send them to the person who can do this, that
and the other thing. That's nonsurgical, that's not this dangerous.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
M hmm, that's safe and effective and regulated. Yeah, and
I have so much more to say on this boat,
but we have on the other topics to discuss today,
doctor Bob, and I want to leave with this. His
cardiac arrest may have been that final blow, just like
you said, but his body was already failing. Modern sports
medicine must prioritize sustainable health over short term fixes like
(17:35):
you mentioned acupuncture, chiropractic, just walking, movement, anything, So you know,
I just want to leave rest, easy Hulkster. Your battles
in the Ring, they were legendary. I think that myself
and probably your kids all grew up with that, and
you may have enjoyed it yourself, absolutely, but that final
(17:55):
fight exposed a system that failed to protect its heroes.
So that's what I want to leave with. Rest, easy Hulkster.
I'm gonna go ahead and get to our health alternative
of the week, Doctor Bob, all right, let's go all right.
(18:23):
This week's health alternative week is Curseitin. It's Nature's secret
weapon against seasonal allergies. Well, folks, if you're tired of
choosing between feeling like a drowsy zombie from allergy medicine
or sniffling red nose mess from the pollen, I've got
some news for you. Mother Nature packed the perfect solution,
and it's right in your grocery list. This week's health
(18:45):
hero it's curse Aitin, the plant compound that's about to
change how you view allergy season even during the summer.
Kirsten is a powerful flavonoid, basically Nature's version of an
antahistamine that doesn't come with all the side effects. It's
found in many of the colorful fruits and vegetables we
already know that are good for us. What makes it
(19:07):
so special and unique is its ability to calm down
over active immune responses that turn harmless pollen into full
blown warfare in your sinuses. Here's the beautiful part about it.
Curseotin works preventively by stabilizing those pesky mass cells that
release histamine. Unlike medications that block histamine after it's already
(19:29):
causing that chaos, Curstin helps stop the reaction before it starts.
So it's like having a bouncer for your immune system
that politely tells pollen not tonight. So the options here.
The food sources reach for red onions, the darker, the better.
Apples don't remove the skin. Eat that as well in capers,
(19:49):
those tiny flavor bombs that are perfect on the top
of your salmon. You can also find it with dark
berries and citrus fruits, leafy greens like kale and spinach,
and for those that need extra support, supplements in the
five hundred two thousand milligram range can be incredibly effective.
You can combine this with bromoline from pineapple to boost
(20:10):
the absorption. And we're coming up on a break. So
the health alternative the week is cursing. It's nature's way
to help restore the balance of histamine in your body.
So before you reach for that pharmacy shelf this season,
try stocking your fridge instead your nose in your energy levels. Well,
thank you. Here's a breathing easy the natural way cursing
(20:32):
your health alternative of the week. All right, we are
coming up on a break and again we're gonna try
to get some questions. If you have a question for us,
dial our toll free number at eight hundred and six
zero six eight eight two to two, where Doctor Bob
and myself are standing by to help you. That's eight

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Fame Mistakes, but he's got a choice to make. Everybody
needs to leave the faith.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
When are you taking yours.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
Money?
Speaker 6 (21:09):
You in fun?
Speaker 2 (21:12):
All right, welcome back Doctor Adam Brockman here and you're
tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show. As we navigate
today's health conversation together. I want to remind you about
our incredible listener resource. It's our email health question for him.
If you've got a health question or topic you'd love
us to explore, just visit doctor bob dot com and

call our toll free number at eight hundred six zero
six eight eight two two. That's eight hundred six zero
six eight eight two two, all right. And on the
health alternative, I want to go ahead and spell that
(21:54):
out to you. It's a it's again, it's curse in.
It's spelled q U e r E t i N
and you can find that at nearly every natural grocery
store and also other finer health foods stores. And so
doctor Bob, I know you have a couple more comments
you want to make on the on the Hulk Hogan story.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah, just one final comment before the health outrage of
the week that you're going to bring, and that is,
you know, on Hulk Hogan's death certificate, it's going to
say he died as a result of cardiac arrest. That
is a lie. That is that is not true. He
died in response to a failed surgery. So what his
(22:41):
death certificate should read should read cause of death medical miscare.
Medical miscare is what led to the premature death of
Hulk Hogan. But that won't happen. We know that the
leading cause of death in America is not heart disease.
It's it's not cancer, it's not anything. What the leading
(23:03):
cause of death in America is is medical miscare. That
means something happened, something went wrong in some medical procedure
that maybe didn't need to go on, as in the
case of Hulk Hogan. He had an elective surgery he
chose based on his doctors telling him, oh, no, you
need the surgery right away. That's going to help you,
(23:25):
and he died as a result of allowing that to occur.
He'd be alive today. So the cause of death on
his death certificate should be medical miscare, not cardiac arrest.
That's all I am saying.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, and doctor Bob, before we get into our health outrage,
I want to let the listeners in on that little secret.
My entire family, plus every health savvy colleague I know
swears by Spry Dental Defense, the dodge, tooth decay, gingivitis
in the dreaded what's that smell bad breath moment? And
here's why. Spry's toothpaste, mouth rints and gum pack a
(23:58):
plant powered punch with xylotol. That's a cavity crushing, plaque
pummeling breath freshening hero No burning mouth rents, no weird aftertaste,
just flavors like peppermint and cinnamon that make your mouth
feel like it won the hygiene lottery. My routine is
brushing with Spry toothpaste, rinsing with Spry mouth rents, and
(24:20):
chewing Spry gum. There you have it now, my dental
hygienist tells everyone she knows about Spry. You can find
it at CBS, Target or Sprouts or head over to
Clear dot Com from the makers of Clear nasal spray.
And hey, if your dentist ask why your teeth looks
so good, just wink and say Spry because I'd rather
chew gum than get a filling. And doctor bob this
(24:44):
health outrage. We're continuing this medical medical mishaps today, and
so if we can. Let's get right into our health
outrage of the week.
Speaker 4 (24:55):
She sprint, leaving.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
Each to over the health outbridge because it's nothing bud.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
This week's health outrage is talking about organ transplant horrors,
the shocking truth behind America's broken transplant system. Ladies and gentlemen,
I need you to brace yourselves for this deserving medical story.
We're talking about a system that's supposed to represent the
very best of humanity, saving lives through organ donation, but
(25:29):
new evidence suggests it may have crossed into unforgivable ethical territory.
This isn't just malpractice, this is fundamental betrayal of trust
that'll make your blood run cold. Let me give you
the facts from the HHS the investigation. In over one
hundred cases, nearly thirty percent raised serious red flags. But
(25:51):
here's the number that should keep you up at night.
At least twenty eight patients may have had their organs
harvested while they still showed some of life neurological activity,
brain function, potential consciousness. Let that sink in for a moment.
Families that are grieving what they thought was the loss
(26:12):
of a loved one may have actually been victims of
what can only be described as a medical butchery. This
information centers on an organ procurement organization serving Kentucky, Southwest Ohio,
and West Virginia. These are groups that are responsible for
coordinating between hospitals and transplant centers, the gatekeepers of life
(26:35):
and death decisions. Multiple cases showed neurological assessments either weren't
done properly or were outright ignored. The sacred five minute
observation rule after death it was routinely skipped, and overdose
victims they were classified as brain dead when they may
(26:55):
have been able to be have a recovery. The families
were allegedly misled about their loved ones conditions during consent discussions.
Pressure tactics were used to secure donations from vulnerable grieving relatives,
with each viable organ worth six figures to hospitals. In
(27:17):
these procurement centers, the temptation to cut corners becomes terrifyingly
clear and real. Here's where it gets even more infuriating.
The exact case was that was reviewed under previous administration
and shockingly, they found no problems. That's right, the same
(27:37):
case as Secretary Kennedy's team identified as horrifying violations were
given a clean bill of health just years ago, which
makes you wonder how many other atrocities have been just
swept under the rug. So you know you're entering Secretary
Kennedy who took one look at these findings and came
up with a plan, his three point plan immediate career
(28:00):
active action for these opos. These procurement centers, system system
wide reforms, including national standards for neurological death determination, and
new in this option here were full decertification of these
procurement centers that failed to comply with this. Now, I
know some of you are thinking, well, I'm not an
(28:21):
organ donor. That doesn't affect me. But it does. Every
time a scandal like this breaks, it makes people second
guests donating, meaning more people die on weightless If we
allow the standard for organ donors today, what vulnerable population
is next. These weren't other people. They were someone's child, parent,
(28:43):
or sibling. So this is this is why I think
doctor Bob, as a doctor, I took an oath to
protect life in all forms. What we've been uncovering today
violates that the oath in the most fundamental way possible.
But here's the here's the good news. With Kennedy's leadership
in public pressure, we can rebuild a system worthy of
(29:04):
that incredible gift of donation. Because at the end of
the day, this isn't about politics of bureaucracy. It's about
answering one simple question, what kind of society do we
want to be? Doctor Bob do you got a couple
thoughts on this?
Speaker 3 (29:15):
I do. It just gets back to the fact that
people are under the myth that medical diagnosis of anything
is one hundred percent accurate. I mean, people are misdiagnosed
being dead every single day. So you have to have
an advocate alongside you, a relative, somebody who loves you
and cares about you, to say, look, let's before we
(29:36):
start harvesting, let's make sure they're dead first, please, Because
mistakes happen every single day in medical care, as it
does in any healing art. You just got to be careful.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
That is exactly right. You're listening to the Doctor Bob
Martin Show.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 7 (30:01):

There's a place where you can send an email over

Bob dot com. And before we throw it back to
doctor Adam Brockman, I just want to say, and again,
you know one final thing about Hulk Hogan, who, as
many of you know, is all over the news. He
(31:56):
recently died. Cause of death medically was being announced as
being cardiac arrest, and yes, he had cardiac arrest, and
that's certainly what killed him. But what led up to
his death was a ill advised spinal surgery where they
(32:17):
operated on his neck area, his cervical spine, when they
should not have in my opinion and the opinion of
other experts, because of his history of health related problems
of degenerative disease, use of antabolic steroids, and his weakened
state going in. But all of that aside, one cannot
(32:41):
help but wonder what could he have done, What should
he have done to try to avert risky neck surgery
which has a certain mortality rate associated with it. We
won't even mention the anesthetics, the anesthesia that he had
to undergo, which kills in a general pool of anesthesia.
(33:01):
If you look at the general pool of people being
put out with anesthesia, about one in twelve hundred people
died just from that alone. You know that there's risks
associated with him. But the real last thing I want
to say about this is that even though medical care
killed Hulk Hogan as a complication of ill advised next surgery.
The people who did this are still going to get paid,
(33:24):
for God's sake, they're still going to get paid. Why
should they get paid. If you took your automobile into
an automacat and said, hey, I hear a noise in
my engine, would you fix it? And you show up
to get your car and they give you bad news, Sir,
I blew up your engine so you can have it
towed off in good luck. No, you would say you
(33:46):
need to fix my engine. I'm not gonna pay for this.
You blew the engine up. It's your problem, not mine. No,
that's not what happens in allopathic conventional medicine. They killed
Hulk Hogan secondary to an adverse response to next surgery,
and they're going to get paid anyway. They're going to
get paid even though they failed. Now figure that one out,
(34:08):
and you understand why we have a problem with the
healthcare system. It's really not a healthcare system. And hopefully
President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Junior and all
the rest of his people that he is combined to
gather are going to fix the broken medical system. We
have in this country, which is an embarrassment. That's all
I have to saying.
Speaker 2 (34:25):
Yeah, and so so much more to say on this topic,
doctor Bob, But I think if you're all right with it,
we're going to try to get to a caller question
real quick. Let's go. Let's go with John from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Speaker 6 (34:37):
All though, my name is John, I'm from Honolu, Hawaii,
and I have three things I was wondering about, sorry
sis or exiba, also bloating, and I was wondering also
about dementia. Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
All right, thank you for your question and tuning in
from beautiful, beautiful Honolulu. I'm happy to address those three concerns,
and we'll try to do it from a natural medicine perspective.
As far as syriasis and ecima, those are both inflammatory
skin conditions often rooted in immune dysregulation and gut health imbalance.
So here's some natural ways to support that, doctor oheres
(35:21):
probiotic this is one of my top recommendations. Restoring a
healthy gut microbiome can reduce that systemic inflammation while also
improving skin conditions like psoriasis and exima. And I also
suggest you do an anti inflammatory diet, avoiding dairy, gluten
and processed sugars. Increase that intake of omega three fatty
(35:42):
acids through salmon, flaxeed, and walnuts. As far as the
bloating goes, digestive bloating is often a sign of that
gut imbalance as well, and food sensitivities or low digestive
enzyme production. So again that probiotic doctor o Heroes probiotic
may help there. And then also consider it food sensitivity
panel or elimination diet again gluten dairy there. And then
(36:04):
as far as dementia support, I mentioned the omega three
fatty acids, that's a good one. And then also maybe
something like coolic age garlic extract that supports circulation and
may reduce vascular contributors and cognitive decline. Lifestyle wise, engage
in regular movement, social connection and healthy sleep patterns in
a Mediterranean style diet, that anti inflammatory diet with healthy
(36:27):
fats and other great nutritional advice there. All right, we're
coming up on a break and we're gonna hit our
final stretch. And as we come to that, listeners again
feel free to call our eight hundred number. That's that's

into our health mystery of the week. Our health mystery
(38:06):
of the week is corn Sweat the Midwest steamy secret. Folks,
if you ever visit the Midwest in July and thought,
why does ninety degrees feel like Satan's front porch, science
finally has your answer. Meet corn sweat, the agricultural phenomenon
that's turning America's bread basket into a biological sauna. And no,
(38:28):
I'm not joking. Those endless fields of corn are literally
sweating buckets. Here's the crazy part. A single acre of
corn releases up to four thousand gallons of water vapor
per day, and that's through its leaves. That means a
typical seven hundred acre field pumps out enough moisture to
fill four Olympic sized swimming pools daily. Suddenly, that Midwestern
(38:52):
humidity makes sense right now, before you blame the farmers
for this atmospheric injustice, remember, corn sweat is just plants
doing plant things. But here's where it gets medically fascinating.
All that extra moisture in the air actually rewrites the
summer health risk. Like heat deception, corn humidity makes temperatures
(39:14):
feel ten to fifteen degrees hotter than they actually are,
tricking your body into overheating faster asthma suffers report more
attacks during peak corn season July and August and all
that damp air traps pollutants in pollen, and you'll sweat
more but feel less thirsty because the air's already moist.
(39:35):
That's a dehydration danger. So what's your survival playbook? Here's
what the Midwesterners do when the tassels on corn turn brown.
They drink and drink, preferably water, but electrolyte powders become
your best friend as well. Outdoor workouts shift to more
evening time in every grandmother within five hundred miles starts
(39:57):
force feeding you watermelon. Nature's hilarious this way. The same
crop that feeds the entire nation also turns it into
a giant steam bath. Stay cool out there, hydrate, and
remember corn sweat. It's not personal, it's botanical, all right.
That brings us to the end of another another great
