Good day to you. Doctor Adam Brockman, here your partner
in wellness, and welcome to the Doctor Bob Martin Show,
where we turn questions into solutions and health goals into victories.
Today we are tackling one of the most frustrating, confusing,
and downright unfair parts of midlife for women. It's why

(01:22):
menopause seems to rewrite all the rules about weight and appetite.
If you ever stared at your genes and you wonder
why these won't fit anymore, or found yourself rating the
fridge at midnight like a hormonal raccoon, this show is
for you. Here's the truth they don't tell you. Menopause

(01:45):
weight gain isn't about willpower. It's about your hormones declaring
mutiny on your body. Estrogen plummets, metabolism slows, and your
body starts storing fat like it's for enough apocalypse. And
just when you need energy the most, fatigue and cravings

(02:08):
team up against you. If the sounds familiar, you're probably right.
And here's the good news. Science is finally catching up
to what women have known for decades. Today, we'll break
down exactly why menopause changes your body from hunger hormones
gone wild to the infamous menopause belly and give you

(02:32):
real practical strategies to take back control. No fad diets,
no guilt trips, just facts and solutions. We will cover
with a very special guest, how to outsmart cravings and hint,
it's not about just saying no. Boosting your sluggish metabolism

(02:54):
it can be done, and turning down the stress snackings,
and finally understand why your body is doing this in
the first place. Plus later in the show, we've got
your calls lined up if you're struggling with stubborn weight gain.
If you're not sure if it's menopause or something else,

(03:17):

this show eight hundred six zero six eight eight two
to two or doctor Bob dot com spelling out the
word doctor docto r Bob dot com. And listeners, remember

(03:41):
progress not perfection. Whether you're twenty five or seventy five,
it's never too late to invest in yourself. So grab
your mushroom coffee or that dark chocolate you're hiding, and
let's get started, because today we're working with your biology
against it. With that, we want to bring up menopause

(04:03):
again and the weight why midlife changes and affects your appetite. Today,
let's dive into a topic that's on the minds of
so many women in midlife. It's menopause and the weight
gain that comes with it. If you ever felt like
your body suddenly turned against you, craving's out of nowhere,

(04:24):
clothes fitting tighter, and energy levels dropping, You're not alone.
This isn't will power like we said. It's about hormones, metabolism,
and some fascinating science. Ladies. Let's talk first about estrogen,
your body's unsung hero when it comes to appetite control.

(04:45):
Before menopause, estrogen works behind the scenes to keep your
hunger hormones in check. It boosts liptin, the hormone that
tells your brain you're full, and keeps grilling, the hunger
hormone from running wild. But as estrogen levels drop during

(05:07):
perimenopause and menopause, this delicate balance gets thrown out of whack.
Lipton takes a nose dive so you don't feel as
satisfied after meals, and grilling cranks up, leaving you with
relentless cravings, especially for carbs and sweets. Again, does that

(05:28):
sound familiar? And it's not just estrogen. Progesteron, another key player,
also declines during menopause. This hormone has that calming effect,
so when it dips, stress levels rise, and so does
emotional eating. You add cortisol to the mix the stress hormone,

(05:51):
and you've got a perfect storm for weight gain, especially
around the belly. And here's enough frustrating reality. Your metabolism
isn't what it used to be. After forty, women lose
about three to five percent of their muscle mass per decade.
Since muscle burns more calories than fat, this slow down

(06:14):
means you're burning fewer calories even if your diet hasn't changed.
It's like your body's engine suddenly switched from a sports
car to a scooter. And let's not forget that thyroid
Menopause can exasperate thyroid issues like hypothyroidism, which further slows metabolism.

(06:39):
Symptoms like fatigue, cold intolerance, and weight gain often overlap
with menopause, making it easy to miss the connection. Then
there's insulin resistance. Declining estrogen makes your cells less responsive
to insulin, leading to blood sugar spikes and crashes and yes,

(07:00):
more cravings. This metabolic roller coaster can make it feel
like your body is working against you. But understanding what's
happening is the first step and taking control, and then
there's a sleep, stress, and a weight connection. If you've
been struggling with sleep during menopause, you're not alone. And

(07:22):
it's not just about night sweats or insomnia. Poor sleep
wreeks havoc on your hunger hormones. When you don't get
enough rest, Liptin levels drop so you don't feel as full,
and grill and levels rise so you'll feel hungrier. Studies
show that sleep deprived women crave high caloric foods up

(07:45):
to forty five percent more than when they're well rested.
And then you add in stress cordosol. Again, that stress
hormone doesn't just make you anxious, it also encourages your
body to store fat, especially around the midsection, creates that
vicious cycle. Stress leads to cravings, cravings lead to weight gain,

(08:07):
and weight gain leads to more stress. Breaking This cycle
is key to managing menopause in the related weight gain
that comes with it. Even women who have been slim
often throughout their whole life notice a new, stubborn layer
of belly fat during menopause. It's not just about aesthetics,

(08:28):
it's biology, as that estrogen levels decline, fat storage shifts
from the hips and thighs to the abdomen. In that
fat around the mid section. The visceral fat isn't just
harder to lose, it's also linked to higher risk of
heart disease and diabetes. And then there's bloating, another common complaint.

(08:48):
Hormonal fluctuations can slow digestion, leading to water retention and discomfort.
It's like your digestive system has decided to take a
nap right when you need it the most. Now, there
is good news. You can take charge of your metabolism
and cravings during menopause. Here are some science based strategies

(09:09):
to help you stay ahead of the game. You can
use hormone harmony considered talking to your doctor about bioidentical
hormone replacement therapy, and for some women it can help
stabilize estrogen levels and reduce cravings. You can try incorporating
phido estrogen rich foods like flax seeds, soy, and lentils

(09:32):
into your diet. These plants they mimic estrogen's effects in
the body and may help to balance hormones naturally. You
can also start to try to boost your meta metabolism
by strength training. It's your best friend here. Aim for
two to three sessions per week to build muscle and
counteract that age related metabolic slow down. You can prioritize

(09:56):
protein at every meal. It helps keep you full longer
and helps preserve muscle mass, and you can try to
outsmart your cravings. You can start meals with fiber rich
foods like vegetables or lagoons to curve over eating. So
what I'm saying here is you don't the next time

(10:18):
you feel like these cravings are creeping in, or you
notice the scale inching up, take a deep breath. You've
got the knowledge and now the power to navigate menopause
with confidence. We're coming up on a break and we're
gonna be with our special guests that's going to talk
more about this. But I don't want you to wander off.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Welcome back.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
You're listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show, Doctor Adam
Brockman here, and let me ask you if you're having
menopause symptoms and you need to stop and truly listen
to what your body's trying to tell you. Those nagging symptoms,
the persistent discomfort, they're not just inconvenience, is they're important
messages from your body that deserve attention. The good news

(11:39):
is you don't have to wait weeks or sitting crowded
waiting rooms to get the answers. Right now, you can
connect with a healthcare professional through our telehealth service from
the comfort of your own home. Just dial eight hundred

(11:59):
short telehealth form that's eight hundred and six ER six
eight eight two to two or doctor Bob dot com.
Because your health can't wait. Now, let's get back into
today's important health conversation. We've been talking about menopause, and
with menopause, it often brings frustrating weight changes that feel
beyond control, the sudden cravings tighter close in plummeting energy.

(12:23):
But this isn't just about willpower, It's about biology. As
estrogen declines, hunger hormones go haywire lipt in the fullness
signal hormone drops, while grilling, the hunger signal hormone surges,
driving carb and sugar cravings, progesteron and cortisol worse than

(12:45):
the cycle promoting stress eating in belly fat storage. Metabolism
also slows due to decrease muscle loss three to five
percent per decade after the age of forty and potential
thyroid issues that reduce that calorie burn your body does.
And then you add in insulin resistance from low estrogen.

(13:07):
It further spikes cravings and poor sleep exacerbates the problem
by disrupting hunger hormones in stress fuels visceral fat storage,
a risky shift linked to heart disease. But as we discussed,
solutions exist by balancing your hormones with doctor guided bioidentical

(13:30):
hormone replacement therapy or phido estrogen rich foods like flax,
seeds and soil, and you can rev your metabolism through
stringth training two to three times a week. In protein
focused meals, you can curb your cravings by starting meals
with fiber. In practicing mindful eating, you can also manage

(13:55):
your stress and improve your sleep by having maybe a
cooler bedroom and using adaptagen herbs like ashwagonda. Or you
can take one simple natural supplement a capsule and combine
several of these solutions with a great GLP one activator.

(14:16):
It's calicurb. That's what our next special guest is here
to discuss. So menopause is a natural transition, not a
life sentence. With targeted strategies, women can reclaim control and thrive.
So listeners, let me introduce you to our guest today,

(14:38):
to a true powerhouse in the world of healthy weight management.
It's Sarah Kennedy, the CEO of Calacarb, and this isn't
just another weight loss story. This is fifteen years and
thirty million of New Zealand government backed science that's coming
to life. Sarah's journey is as fascinating as the product

(14:59):
she now lead, from being a veterinarian to global agribusiness
to pioneering a natural solution for metabolic health with a
career spanning dietary nutrition, animal health, and international farming, including
leadership roles at Fonterra Global. Sarah doesn't just understand science,

(15:21):
she knows how to turn research into real world results.
At the company's health ories, she tripled revenue and engineered
a merger that created Australian Asia's third largest wellness company.
Then she did MIT's prestigious Sloan Fellowship, where she honed

(15:42):
her skills in global innovation. Now she's channeling that expertise
into Calicurb, a breakthrough product born from studying how plant
compounds interact with our hunger hormones. As a trained VET
turned supplement industry disruptor, Sarah embodies the perfect blend of
scientific rigor in entrepreneurial spirit. And here's what we have

(16:07):
been discussing this hour so far. Under her leadership, Caliicurb
is now helping women worldwide navigate menopausal weight challenges by
working with their biology, not against it. So that I
want to welcome to the Doctor Bob Martin Show, Sarah.
How are you doing today?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Sarah, Hi, I'm good.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
Thank you very much, Adam, Yeah, and thanks for your introduction.
I was a bit worried about everything he was saying
before in menopause. But you know, I will say to
all your listeners there is a way through it, and
it's it's there is a way through it and it's

(16:47):
not too hard. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
And before we get back into the menopause discussion, I
want to just tell tell the listeners. Can you explain
how caliicurb works in what makes its active ingredient a
marisate unique.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 5 (17:05):
I think as you said before, Adam, it was developed
over fifteen years by the New Zealand government. In twenty ten,
a group of scientists employed by the government had a
hypothesis that they would find a natural extract that suppressed appetite.
They did that for a couple of facts or a

(17:26):
couple of reasons. In the times of famine in the
Scottish Highlands they chewed very very bitter heath berries.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
To suppress hunger. In the Kalahari desert, the tribesmen chewed
very very bittered.

Speaker 5 (17:43):
Cactus to reduce hunger. So here was this hypothesis that
bitter reduced hunger. So they received a twenty million dollar
grant from the government, the New Zealand government and set
about to explore this and what they found. They did
three hundred human biopsies right down through our gastro intestinal system,

(18:08):
and what they found is we not only have bitter
taste receptors on our tongue, we have them right down
through our gastro intestinal system.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
And the reason for that is evolutionary. That was to
prevent humans from eating very, very bitter foods that could
be poisonous. So we adapted to this over millions of years,
this whole bitter taste receptors.

Speaker 5 (18:36):
So if you eat something bitter or very bitter, you'll
split it out.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
If it goes to your stomach.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
You will either want to eat more to try and
dissipate what you have in your stomach, or you will
vomit it up. But if it goes below your stomach,
it will stimulate the release of appetite suppressing hormone and
the ones that probably know the most are GLP one,

(19:05):
but it also does cc K and PYY.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
So this powerful combination.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
By stimulating this release of appetite suppressing hormones, we have
shown in human clinical studies which are published they reduce
calorie intake by an average of eighteen percent. Now that's
a lot of calories that can be up to twenty
percent of your meal, and it also reduces hunger by

(19:35):
thirty percent and craven by forty percent. So what the
scientists did is they really took our evolutionary adaptation and
they then use this to help us for appetite.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
Suppressing and so again a mari sate. This is what
the active ingredient in CALICIRB, and it's a patented hop
flower extract that activates the gut brain access to reduce
hunger signals. And what Sarah's telling us is it's clinically

(20:10):
shown to decrease caloric intake by I think you showed me.
The study was eighteen percent. Is that is that correct?

Speaker 4 (20:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:19):
So average of an average of eighteen percent per meal.
So or it's an average of eighteen percent. So think
of that as a mcdillan.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Hamburger, okay. And it reduces the cravings for sweet and
even savory foods, and it helps support the healthy blood
sugar balance. And when we come back from break, we're
going to get right back into it with Sarah Kennedy,
the CEO of calacerb you're listening to the Doctor Bob
Martin show. This is doctor Adam Brockman, and we will

(20:52):
see you after the break.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
You waiting for the.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Writing, excusading for same chooses, students.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
Find money.

Speaker 6 (21:23):
Money you welcome back.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
If you were listening to the Doctor Bob Martin show,
I'm doctor Adam Brockman, and we're all about smarter living
and thriving naturally and teaching you to become your own
best doctor most of the time. And remember, if you've
got questions about natural health, nutrition or anything in between,
call our hotline. It's open all the time. It's eight

(21:49):
hundred six zero six eight eight two to two where
two licensed physicians, doctor Bob and myself are standing by
to help you unlock your best self. That's eight hundred
six zero six eight two two again eight hundred and
six or A six eight A two two. Let's get
right back into our conversation with Sarah Kennedy, the CEO
of Caliicurb. We've been talking about Amerisate, the patent hop

(22:11):
flower extract that is the active ingredient in calacurb, and
it decreases caloric intake. It supports healthy blood sugar balance
in unlike caffeine based appetite suppressants calicurb works without jitters, crashes,
or dependency risk. So, Sarah, I want to elaborate a
little bit more. We're talking about the golp one and

(22:32):
of course that's a buzzword. How is caliicurb different from
synthetic golp one medications or other weight loss products out there.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Yeah, that's a great question, doctor Adam.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
How it works as we don't sow a GLP one
injection or what they call an agonist, is a synthetic
hormone that you inject or mainly inject in your body,
and it's a synthetic What Caloricubas or marisate the active ingredient.

(23:04):
We stimulate the release of your own natural GLP one,
so we all produce GLP one and this happens about
forty five minutes after you eat, and it's a normal
feedback mechanism that tells your brain to stop eating. What
Mariseate does is we superstimulate that release. In fact, we

(23:26):
superstimulate it to six hundred percent above base level, which
tells your brain to stop eating earlier. So what we
say is we make you feel full faster and that
then that's why you get this eighteen percent reduction.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
In caloric intact.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
And you have other studies out there on how this
that I think it was what the eighteen percent decrease
in caloric intake and what were the other studies showing
the percentage wise? And it was very fascinating studies.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Yes, so we did one in men and one in woman.
The one and woman was probably the most interesting. And
the fact that women I used less than thirty percent
in clinical trials. It's because we have hormones and scientists
don't want those fluctuations. But I needed to do it
in females to show how we worked in females, that

(24:24):
we worked the same in females as we did in males.
And in fact, what we found out is females are
more females are more receptive to GOLP one, which was
a really interesting fact.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
But what we actually showed.

Speaker 5 (24:39):
In this clinical with females when we gave it was
a twenty four hour water only fast, and we.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
Gave calicub it sixteen.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Hours and twenty hours, and we measured hunger and craving
schools over the last eight hours, and what we showed
was we reduced hunger or reduced increased hunger in females
by one hundred percent. So what that means is they
were no more hungry at twenty four hours than they

(25:10):
were at sixteen hours, which is an incredible result because
this is the hardest part of a fast. We also
showed that we got one hundred and twenty percent reduction
in craving, so this is these were hugely statistical results.
We also gave a rebound eating at twenty four hours

(25:31):
and got fourteen and a half percent calorie reduction. Now
that remember was four hours after the last dose, so
it shows that when you take these small capsules they
last for four to six hours in reducing that hunger
and calorie intake.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
And listeners, we're talking with Sarah Kennedy, the CEO of
cala Curb, and you may be asking, how do I
get a hold of calaicurb. Well, this is what you do.
You go to caliicurb dot com. If you want to
spell it out, it is c A L O c
U RB dot com and you can also enter a code.
Sarah's been nice enough to let Doctor Bob Martin show

(26:13):
listeners have ten percent off with the code Doctor Bob,
that's d R B O B. So you go to
calicurb dot com and enter the code doctor Bob for
an additional savings, and I will say, Sarah, I've been
using cali curb for a couple months now. I use
usually usually two capsules a day, one in the morning
and one in the afternoon, and it and I just

(26:34):
I tell you, I just notice I don't have the
sugar cravings and I also don't eat as much. Is
this what you're finding with most people? Is that the
feedback that you're getting from uh, from people that have
been using it for quite some time, we.

Speaker 5 (26:49):
Get thousands of people feedback. In fact, wellis was in
New Zealand, but I just arrived home from America and
I was getting in the lift from my apartment and
someone jumped in beside me and he said, look at me,
Look at me.

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Do I look different? And I'm like looking, I'm Phil.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
And he said look and I said, well, you're looking
really well.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
He said, I've lost eleven kilograms.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
That callicub really works and I said, of course it does, Phil.
You know we you know, we're thirty million dollars on it.
So it's so lovely when I meet, you know, people
I know personally, but we get you know, thousands or
hundreds of thousands of people coming back to us and yeah,

(27:34):
and telling us about both weight loss and and you
know that reduction and food noise. M.

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Yeah, and for our American lesseners, we're trying to do
the math here. How many kilograms is that? It's nearly
twenty five pounds. That eleven kilograms is nearly twenty five
pounds correct.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
Yeah, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 5 (27:58):
I'll read you one too, because I think this is
relevant for menopause.

Speaker 4 (28:02):
And one that just recently came back.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
This woman said, Kalkup's been a game changer for me
since going into medical menopause ten years ago. I've really
struggled with weight gain. That coupled was taking medication that
caused my appetite to increase saw me steadily gained weight.
I've been taking Callicove for some time, and so far

(28:26):
I've lost twenty two palms.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
I'm also now.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
Back and running something I didn't think would ever happen.
Callicup doesn't fix everything, but it certainly curbed my appetite.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
Fiona M.

Speaker 5 (28:39):
So, you know, we just love feedback like that, and
our customer support is always sending that through to us.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
MM hmmm, yeah, those are great testimonials. And again we're
talking with Sarah Kennedy, the CEO of Calicurb. Sarah, I
want to know what role does GLP one play in
managing appetite, especially during menopausals where we've been talking about.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
So GOLP one is the signal that tells us to
stop peaching. We all have feedback loops in our body,
and when GLP one or your natural golp one is stimulating,
it goes up to your brain and says and then
it tells you to stop peating. Otherwise we would just
keep eating all the time. You've got to have these

(29:24):
feedback mechanism. It also just slows down the motility in
the stomach so you feel.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Full for longer.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
So just reentering calicurb stimulates the natural golp one versus
injecting a synthetic hormone.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
All right, Sarah, So we're coming up on a break
and again, listeners, you can find calicurb at calicurb dot
com at C A L O c U RB dot
com and enter the code doctor Bob for ten percent off.
You're listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
So I'm a Bossom number signsible behind one never.

Speaker 7 (30:22):
Single, I'm stoppa love today.

Speaker 2 (30:36):

All available twenty four to seven at doctor bob dot com. Now,
let's get back in today's conversation with Sarah Kennedy, the

(31:20):
CEO of calacerb All right, Sarah, so I want to
I want to talk more about this menopause. Why do
women in menopause tend to struggle more with weight gain
and appetite changes. We talked about that in the first segment,
but I want to you have some real world experience
with this from feedback from testimonials, But you've also told

(31:41):
me a story even about yourself.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Yeah, well, look at you know what happens is will
women go into perimenopause, which meant before before menopause, and
that usually happens five to seven years before you actually
go into menopause. So in perimenopause, you do get this,
you'll eat, estrogen starts to vary, and when your estrogen varies,

(32:05):
you get this increased I think you talked about it before.
You get things like the night sweet, irregular sleep. All
of these things start to change because estrogen is such
a powerful hormone and what it's saying is, hey, we're
going into another stage in our life.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
And so when this.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
Happens, it also increases hunger and changes the way that your.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Visceral fat in your body.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
It moves more to the abdominal area, which can be
a real risk. So look, there's many things to help,
but one of those is calikub to help coupe that hunger.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
What woman will can eat up? You know they will.

Speaker 5 (32:49):
Women have to eat two hundred calories less a day
just to say the same size. Now, we don't think
that's fair, but that's what happens. So for myself, I've
been using kell Koop for the last seven years.

Speaker 4 (33:05):
I of course I do, I'm the founder.

Speaker 5 (33:07):
But I always laugh because we used to say Gin
was Mummy's little helper.

Speaker 4 (33:13):
I call Keller Kub my little helper. So I always
have it in my handbag, and I know I take
it in.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
The morning, and I know that three o'clock when I'm
just going to know I'm going to be hungry or
start feeling hungry and want something as to pick me up,
I'll take my callicub then.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
Mhmm yeah, and I will say that's when I like
to take it in the mid afternoon, and that pushes
me through and eat a lighter dinner and feel pretty
good the next day. Roy, you know it's not sitting
on your own your stomach so heavy. Again, I want
to keep talking about women and tying this in. I
know we're going to get this question. Can women take
cala cub safely alongside hormone replacement therapy in particular bioidentical

(33:58):
hormone replacement therapy or other supplements.

Speaker 5 (34:02):
The wonderful thing about kelor kerb is it's completely targeted
at the gastrointestinal track or the gard remember how we
talked about. It goes down and it stimulates these little
bitter taste receptors to release your own appetite suppressing hormones.

Speaker 4 (34:20):
So less than one.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Percent of it is absorbed in the bloodstream and within
twenty twenty hours it's degraded in the colon. So it's
incredibly safe. So it doesn't affect the liver, the kidne
ex or anything like that. So absolutely you can take
it alongside, and it's just it is focused on the

(34:42):
gastro in testinal trap.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
And again I want to reiterate this is a non stimulant, right,
it doesn't have any caffeine anything in it. It's all
natural based on a marsate. The hop is that correct, Sarah.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
Hotally, So when reiterating again, this is sort of this
is revolutionary. This is patented in the US by the
New Zealand government.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
You know they spent fifteen years.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
So there's no caffeine in it, no, no what we
would call give you the jitters, nothing in it like that.
There's no fillers, so it doesn't make you feel bloated,
and it doesn't. It's and it hasn't got laxative in it,
so it is totally it comes. It's an extract from
a specific hot flower growing in New Zealand. And that's

(35:31):
important as well because we extract the alpha and beta
acids by super critical extraction, so you aren't left with
any fighter estrogens in a lot of practitioners or people say, oh,
but hops have fighter estrogens in them. We take out
all of biological all of biological material, so you are

(35:54):
only left with this extract.

Speaker 4 (35:57):
Interesting, doctor Adam.

Speaker 5 (35:58):
We then take the extra so this is growing in
New Zealand, extracted.

Speaker 4 (36:03):
In New Zealand, and then this is sent to the USA.

Speaker 5 (36:08):
We manufacture in South Carolina in one of the largest
captual manufacturers in the world.

Speaker 4 (36:15):
It has FDA approval.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
I do want to say the capsule is very small.
Most people should have no problem taking it whatsoever. It
sits on the stomach, very easy. Different than most of
the pharmaceutical GLP ones out there that may upset your stomach.
This is a very good, very good, non habit and
non pharmacollegeural product that everybody should be have no problem taking.

(36:41):
It's called Calicurb. You can find it at calicurb dot com.
That's c A L O C U r B dot com.
You can get ten percent off the order using the
code Doctor Bob. You are listening to the Doctor Bob
Martin Show. Welcome back Doctor Adam Brockman here, and you're

(37:16):
tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show. I want to
give a special thanks to Sarah Kennedy, the CEO of Calicurb,
for joining us today. Sarah, I want to get your
final thoughts. We just got a few minutes left on
what our audience needs to know about Calicurb and how
it can change their weight goals and also change how

(37:37):
they look at menopause and also give a little bit
for men too.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
Okay, great, thanks Dr Adam.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
I think the thing is, you know, I want to
reiterate the catcub is owned by the New Zealand government.
It has fifteen years and thirteen million in research.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
It is clinically proven.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
To reduce your hunger by thirty percent, by forty percent
and your caloric intake by eighteen percent.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
So I also want to say how you take it?

Speaker 5 (38:08):
All right, So how you take it is you take
it to the tiny captures these various four capsules about
an hour to an hour and a half before lunch
and before dinner, and this will last for four to
six hours and you will just eat less and you
will have less hunger, so twenty percent less than your meal.

(38:30):
Always take calor curb on an empty or an emptier stomach.
The reason being is we wanted to get through the
stomach to the upper upper gut or the upper and
testine where it releases and works against these little taste
receptors to send these signals to your brain to stand

(38:50):
tell you to stop eaten.

Speaker 4 (38:52):
People say to me, well.

Speaker 5 (38:53):
How do I remember? Well, the way I remember is,
you know, usually about don't can be an hour, an
hour and a half. Usually, you know, you about mid
morning you're thinking, oh, I want a cup of coffee,
I want a short break.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
That's when have your calor curb with you and just
take it. Then.

Speaker 5 (39:10):
I also find mid afternoon, you know, about three o'clock,
you know, I'm thinking, oh, I want to pick me up.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
That's when I take it.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
The other thing people are telling us if they take
it closer to dinner, so they take it about five pm,
it really stops that after dinner eating or snacking, which
is a big problem as well. You know, you had
your dinner, you sit back and you watch some television
or you're sitting back reading a book, and it's almost

(39:40):
a treat time. You've got through the day and you're thinking, oh,
I'm going to kick back and I'll have something to
snack on, whether it be sweet or savory.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
This can really help you.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
So you know, as I said, go and try it.
It has absolutely changed my life. I know long I
have this love hate relationship with food. As I said,
it's calicub and with Doctor Adam you get ten percent off.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
M Yeah, I'm a big fan of calicurb. I use it.
I'm recommended to my patients. They're having good results with it.
You can find it at calicurb dot com at c
A L O c U r b dot com and
with the code doctor Bob d R B O B
you get ten percent off. It's a special thanks again
to Sarah Kennedy of calicurb for joining us. So there

(40:33):
you have it. Friends, menopause might rewrite the rules, but
now you have the clay the playbook for it. You're
listening to the Doctor Bob Martin Show. Thank you very much.
