The new scientific findings, from a prominent medical college and hospital, says that regularly drinking more than 400 mg of caffeine per day, which is the equivalent of two energy drinks, or four cups of coffee could increase the likelihood that otherwise healthy individuals will develop heart disease. And since there are millions of people unaware that they have undiagnosed heart problems, this revelation confirms a huge risk.

(00:52):
eight twenty two. That's eight hundred six zero six eighty
eight twenty two. It's the Doctor Bob Martin Show, and.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I welcome you to this hour the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Thank you so very much for tuning into the program. Now,
if you're just tuning in, we have a health poll
question we want you to know about. The FDA authorizes
an update to COVID shots for everyone, So, do you

(01:21):
intend to get a COVID nineteen shot after all of
what we have learned about those shots? Yes or no?
Please vote on that on my website at doctor Bob
dot com. D octr bob dot com will have the
results of that once we get our polling data for you,
so stand by for that next week. It will be delivered. Now,

(01:45):
we're going to start this hour with the topic of
too much caffeine and how it could be bad, bad,
bad for your heart function. I know that many of
the coffee manufacturers and owners of big Coffee are out
there pushing a coffee as an antioxidant, and you need it,

(02:09):
and if you take it, you can jump over tall
buildings with a single bound. It'll help your memory, all
on and on and on. But new scientific findings from
a prominent medical college and hospitals say that regularly drinking
more than four hundred milligrams of caffeine per day, which
a lot of Americans do, which is the equivalent of
two energy drinks just two of them, or four cups

(02:32):
of coffee, could increase the likelihood that otherwise healthy individuals
will develop heart disease. Heart disease from drinking or consuming
too much caffeine. Now, I know the coffee manufacturer's gonna
hate this, and they're going to try to stifle it.
They're going to try to suppress it in some manner
or another or put it down. It's just a terrible study. Yeah,

(02:55):
those those herbal people are at it again. I can
hear them.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Now.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You wake up in the morning desperate for your caffeine
fixed to kick start your day. I mean a lot
of Americans do that. I have to tell you from
the outset. I do not, and have not ever consumed coffee.
I just haven't. I'm not going to get into the
reason why. You just have to trust me how I don't.
I don't like the smell. I've taken one sip of
it early in childhood. It just about drove me up

(03:22):
a wall. No. A new study says that overdoing it
on caffeine may have implications to your heart. The new
findings out of Zeidis Medical College and Hospital in day Hot, India,
says that regularly drinking more than four hundred milligrams of

(03:42):
caffeine per day could increase the likelihood of otherwise healthy
individuals developing heart disease. For reference, folks four hundred milligrams,
according to Mayo Clinic, is the equivalent of roughly about
four cups of browed coffee, two energy or probably eight

(04:02):
or ten cans of soda to day, and some people
do throw that back. The study looked at healthy individuals
between the ages of eighteen and forty five, about twenty
percent of whom were considered chronic caffeine users. Now this
doesn't apply to anybody who just says, wow, God, now
he's gonna take my singular cup of caffeine in the

(04:24):
morning away from me. No, no, no, no, I'm not
talking about you or people like that. I'm talking about
the hardcore job of the jolters, the caffeinism folks. Researchers
found that those consuming more than four hundred milligrams of
caffeine daily had elevated heart rates and elevated blood pressure.

(04:46):
This effect was even more pronounced in those consuming over
six hundred milligrams daily, which is the equivalent of about
six or seven cups of rude coffee and about three
energy drinks per day. The study authors say the caffeine's
impact on the autonomic nervous system, which helps control things
like your heart and your blood pressure could put undue

(05:09):
stress on your heart as well as other parts of
your body. Hypertension, which is high blood pressure, increases the
risk of health issues like heart attack, strokes, and heart failure, aneurysms,
and chronic kidney disease, and is often referred to as
a silent killer. Caffeine is a stimulant drug. We need
to drill that into your head. It is a drug.

(05:31):
Caffeine is a drug, and a little bit once in
a while is no big deal. I will admit that
even though I don't drink coffee, but I'll throw back
a green tea that's got some caffeine in it once
in a while. But according to doctor Jamie Allen, Associate
professor of pharmacology and toxicology at Michigan State University, points
out that consuming caffeine will increase heart rate, open up

(05:56):
your lungs, and increase weightfulness. That's why people take it.
The last effect that I just said, wakefulness, is why
so many people reach for coffee in the morning, because
they supposedly sleep six to eight hours a night, yet
they wake up yawning and tired and can't pull themselves
out of bed. Why is that? Why is it that

(06:20):
that sleep has been there, and your natural hormone stimulant
that starts waking you up at three am slowly, your
cortisol level has been trying to wake you up slowly
since starting at three am all the way to six am. Usually,
this indicates somebody has a drenal exhaustion, which means they're

(06:41):
under stress somewhere, either physically, chemically, emotionally spiritually. They're under stress,
and their adrenal glands, which have to manage that stress,
have been beat down to the point where they can't
work as well as they should. Therefore, they need a
drug to get them out of bed in the morning,
or else they just cannot function. They can't even drag
themselves to work without caffeine some people, Caffeine may also

(07:05):
raise blood pressure, of course, albeit temporarily. According to Mayo Clinic,
and contrary to what the new study found, this effect
is more commonly seen in people who don't consume caffeine
regularly and therefore have not developed a tolerance for the
stimulant the drug. While it's unclear why some people experience this,
some researchers believe it may have to do with caffeine

(07:29):
causing the adrenal glands to release more adrenaline, raising blood pressure,
or caffeine blocking a hormone that causes arteries to widen.
Despite this, people with high blood pressure aren't typically told
by their doctors to cut out caffeine entirely. Why is
that likely Because most doctors drug themselves all day long

(07:54):
with caffeine on a daily basis, so why would they
tell their patients to stop it right. People who have
caffeine on a regular basis become more tolerant to its
effects because the human body ramps up the systems to
get rid of it through the liver, and someone who
doesn't drink much caffeine may feel ill after drinking just

(08:15):
one expresso, but someone who drinks caffeinated beverages on a
regular basis may experience minimal effects after even several cups
of coffee. The takeaway should be caffeine is a drug,
a highly addictive drug, a drug that depletes nutrients from
your body artificially and excessively stimulate your nervous system, and

(08:38):
caffeine ingestion can cause many health problems, including the mild
side effects include anxiety, restlessness, fidgity, insomnia, facial flushing, increase, urination, irritability,
and some of the more severe effects include disorientation, hallucination, psychosis, seizures, arrhythmias,
ischemia which means blockage of blood supply, rabbinumyelosis which is

(09:01):
damage of your muscles, and some of the other side effects.
I don't have time to go over, but I'll just
start a headaches, dizziness, dehydration, dependency. I mean, the list
goes on and on and on. Now Here on the
Doctor Bob Martzen's show. I'm not trying to talk anybody
out of their caffeine drinks. You're adults, you make that call.
But what really gets me, folks, is when I drive

(09:22):
by and I see children standing outside in line with
their parents at Starbucks or some other coffee shop, and
I just know that that parent is going to allow
their child to have a major caffeine fix with tons
of sugar in that drink at that Starbucks or that
coffee shop right along with them. They are starting them

(09:43):
early and often, and we wonder why the rate of
ADHD is up. That I spoke about last hour. If
you didn't get Last Hour on the program, you should
go back and listen to it. I did a whole
hour on children being diagnosed with ADHD on the rise. Well, gosh,
if you're giving them caffeine every day and they're going
to school and they're already full of energy, and you

(10:05):
put them on the drug caffeine, and you wonder why
more and more children are getting it, more children, more males,
more girls, and why they're the rates of drugging children
with ADHD with these drugs methamphetamines to kind of paradoxically
put them into the zombie state so they can sit
there all day in school and stare at the board. Well,
there's a lot of reasons for it. There are better options.

(10:28):
You have lots of drug free options aside from caffeine
in the morning, including one hundred percent delicious tasting non
caffeinated herbal drinks and other drinks Roma cafex Pero. I'll
talk about one of them in the Health Alternative of
the Weak feature coming up. Doctor Bob is going to
deliver the payload. So don't go anywhere. We'll be right

(10:51):
back trouble.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
You know you can always be found.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
It's a Bona Matis place show. Yes, I do, and
that's why I wake up every day and look forward
to being with you at the same time each and
every week. So if you like what you hear on
the program, and you may agree or disagree with what
I talk about here on this program, it's fine, it's okay.

(11:37):
We don't want to chase anybody away, but we do
want you to at least hear about it. Whether you
decide to act on it or not, that's your choice.
But we still should learn from each other, right, That's
what it's all about now. In the last segment, of course,
I was talking about caffeine and how too much of it.

(11:59):
Not me saying this. This is a prominent medical college
and hospital talking about the excess of caffeine. Most people
understand this. They get it because when they get too much,
they may get nervous, they may feel symptoms, their body
is talking back to them, thank goodness and telling them
you've gone over your limit, and I'm going to punish

(12:21):
you for it. And then they learn by it and
they pull back and they take just a little bit
of it in. I'm not an advocate of it. I'm
not recommending it, but if you have it, I can
think of worse things a little bit. But some people
go od on it. They take you know, two or
more energy drinks a day, or they drink four or
more cups of coffee a day, or they drink, you know,

(12:43):
a six pack or more of a caffeinated soda pops
a day, and they wonder why their health is circling
the drain. It could be why. So here is an
option for you, those of you who want to extricate
yourself health from caffeine and are looking for something warm,

(13:04):
something that tastes good, something that can make you feel better,
but not drug you first thing in the morning. And
so we provide for you here on the Doctor Bob
Margin Show, the Health Alternative of the Week. Yes, the

(13:31):
Health Alternative of the Week addresses the issue of those
now who would like to unload the caffeine out of
their life because they've learned that it is a drug,
it is an addictive and it can create problems for
you over time. This week's health alternative is something called
golden milk. Have you heard of it? Golden milk? No, No,

(13:52):
it's not cow milk, by the way, it's just that's
the name. Golden milk. Now, you feel giterate and anxious
after having a coffee drink, or you feel guilty because
of the last segment that I just did here, or
maybe you feel nauseated for seemingly no reason, or you
have that burning feeling in your stomach or your chest

(14:13):
that is decidedly not related to heart health. Or you're
having sleeping problems getting too sleep or waking up and
can't get back, or maybe you have headaches when you
don't drink coffee. You have caffeinism if that sounds like you,
But there's an option, there's an alternative for you. The

(14:36):
early nineteen hundreds declared coffee would stunt your growth. Go
back and look at the history, and they're early nineteen hunters,
doctors and health experts saying, oh, you drink coffee, it'll
stunt your growth. By the nineteen seventies and eighties, people
were told coffee can cause heart attacks, while we already
know that coffee can cause heart problems and heart disease

(14:58):
based on the study I just told you about. And
around twenty ten things began to change. People were damning coffee. Today,
sixty two percent of American adults consume at least one
cup of coffee a day, and research shows coffee can
affect your body when it comes to acidity, and a

(15:21):
lot of people say, well, I'm gonna drink my coffee.
I'll just take more tumbs, I'll take more rolaides, I'll
take more of my anti acid drug by reflex drug.
I know I have digestive prowms, but I love my
coffee and I don't care if I'm my sleep is disrupted.
I need to wake up and get to work in
the morning. But then I mentioned also coffee causes nutrient depletion.

(15:45):
It does well. Here's the health alternative of the week.
Say hello to Golden Milk, this week's health alternative of
the week. It's a drink that's infused with the herb turmeric.
It has coconut oil in it and a big mix
of different spices that your tongue is going to love
and sit up and dance, and your body is going
to like because it's going to actually benefit it and

(16:06):
not whip it with a drug called caffeine, helping to
regulate also your blood sugar levels and even improve your
digestion as opposed to damage it with the acidity of
the caffeine. But it's not just crazy good for you.
It's crazy, delicious. We're talking about gold and milk. Write

(16:26):
it down, this week's health alternative of the week. It's
creamy and spicy with a bright yellow color and earthy flavor.
Golden milk is a delightful, invigorating alternative to coffee. This
is how you extricate yourself from coffee, the drug, the
addictive drug. You can do this. Try it, you'll like it.

(16:49):
You can find it. I'm talking about the health alternative
of the Week, gold and milk, at all natural grocery
stores in twelve fluid ounce bottles made with ingredients that
include coconut milk, whole turmeric root, ginger root, forest honey,
black pepper, fruit, and vanilla extract. Or you can find

(17:10):
it in powder form as well. It does not contain grain.
It is USDA certified organic, It's non GMO and made
without agave or cane sugar. Doesn't have any of that
junk in it. Plus drinking. This week's health alternative of
the week, called golden milk an hour before bedtime actually

(17:33):
rescues you. If you are anxious and can't calm down
before going to sleep. It calms you and it even
helps you to sleep. So it'll aid you on both ends.
Help you get up in the morning because you're getting
rid of coffee, and it helps you at the other
end of the day two to chill you out. It's
the perfect way to start a new beverage habit that's

(17:55):
deliciously balanced for the body, for the mind. And you
can find it at all natural grocers stores nationwide. Now,
if you don't happen to be lucky enough to have
a Natural Grocer's in your backyard, then go to their
website natural grocers dot com and look for this week's
health alternative of the week, golden milk. It does not

(18:17):
have any cow milk in it. Keep that in mind.
It's all natural. It's just the name. It's milk of coconut.
It's the turmeric root, the ginger root, the forest honey,
the black pepper fruit, the vanilla extract in the powder,
and all the other spices that are in there. You're
gonna like it and you're gonna thank me for it.
This week's health alternative of the Week is golden milk.

(18:42):
So hope you enjoyed that, uh one, Because we think
it's gonna be helping a whole lot of people. That's
our goal. That's our mission, all right. Now, let's see
if we can finally transition over to some phone calls
of callers that we apologize for not getting to those earlier.

(19:04):
It's just we have so much content here. Let's go
to first to Dan in Carrie, Illinois.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
Hi, my name is Dan. I live in Carrie, Illinois.
I said it wasn't about your radio broadcast. You and
other alternative health people often say to talking about certain
supplement to take for a condition if you test already
in normal range. But the question is, if you're already
in normal range, why would anybody want to take something

(19:34):
if they're already helping in that range. You see what
I'm saying. Usually take a supplement something to help you
when you're not in a normal range, something puzzle the
way few and other health type people say if you
are already in normal range, and you would not want
to take anything.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
All right, Dan, thank you for your call. Notice my
voice blurry in the background. That's not a way to
leave a message. Make sure your radio's turned down when
you call in to leave a message. Dan, already in
normal range means that you're taking a supplement to maintain one.
There's two different explanations for this. You're taking a supplement
to maintain health, so it doesn't get out of range.

(20:14):
That's the difference between optimal and normal. And sometimes it's
just a matter of word crafting. The FDA only allows
certain manufacturers of supplements to say when it's within normal
range only because that's what they allow. So of course
the manufacturers have to adhere to that or get into
trouble by saying, oh, it lowers this or it lowers that.

(20:36):
Those are the reasons for it, Dan, And again I
thank you for your phone call. We'll be right back.
I'm doctor Bob Martin.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Everybody's got fay mistakes, but everybody's got a choice to make.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Everybody needs to lead the faith. When are you taking
you us.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Money?

Speaker 2 (21:13):
You infot sound h II welcome you or welcome you
back to this hour of the Doctor Bob Martin Show.
Thank you so much for tuning into the program today
and telling others to do the very same thing. And
if you're just tuning in, I want to let you

(21:35):
know we have a health poll question we'd love to
have you answer. It's over on my website at doctor
Bob dot com. Spell out the word doctor d O
c t O R bob dot com. The question on
the site is this FDA authorizes updated COVID vaccines or
COVID shots for everyone. Do you intend to get a

(21:59):
COVID nineteen shot? Yes or no? Please vote on that.
We'll have the results next week. By the way. Also,
if you're just tuning in, we have a caller hotline
phone number. Should you want to call in and ask
a question about your own health or somebody else's health,
or make a health related comment. That number toll free
nationwide eight hundred six zero six eight eight two to

(22:22):
two eight hundred six zero six eight two two. That's
one eight hundred six zero six eighty eight twenty two
to have your health question on the air, hopefully and answered,
or to make your health related comment. All right, before
we get to this week's health outrage of the week,
I wanted to mention something that you should know about.

(22:46):
We're hearing more and more information coming out of the
scientific journals about how berries, certain berries, if we consume them,
they will benefit our health in a big way. And
they're now finding out why it is that berries work,
Why berries certain berries are like super superfruits that help

(23:07):
enrich our health and one that I want to tell
you about is one called ernia berries. Have you heard
of them? Ronia berries are considered the king of superfruits
and are rich in important nutrients and antioxidants. Antioxidants, of course,
are those things that are in foods that keep free radicals,

(23:28):
these things that really age our body excessively. It's kind
of like rust, if you will, in the body, and
they neutralize that rusting effect in the body. Antioxidants do.
So we should consume as many antioxidants in our foods
as we can, and if we can't get it or
don't want it in foods, then take it supplementally. Ronia
berries contain something called phenolic compounds, which are naturally in

(23:51):
the plants that help the plants resist disease and premature
death when ronia berries are ingested by humans. They have
been show to provide anti inflammatory properties and may help
prevent or treat a variety of different conditions known to man,
including the big sea and I do mean cancer, diabetes,

(24:11):
cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, liver disease, and other metabolic disorders.
Aronia berries, folks, the ingredients in them. Wow. It is
worthy to note that scientific studies have proven and subsequently
published in peer reviewed scientific journals that two of ronia
berries many health giving compounds, were found to show potential

(24:38):
anti influenza or anti flu activity. Well, now, you can
either eat a bowl of organic ronia berries each day
if you can find them, or you can choose a
more convenient and cost effective way to benefit from ronia

(24:58):
berries by taking an nutritional supplement called Erronia Berry Complex
Ronia Berry Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins. This supplement contains
Ronia Berries Extract AB forty, which delivers a concentrated and
consistent source of this amazing superfruit into your body so

(25:23):

Seed Extract VX one grape Seed Extract, an incredible effective
botanical for strong heart muscle function, arterial protection, healthy blood

(25:46):
pressure levels, and cholesterol balance. So protect your precious health.
Look for Ernia Berry Complex by Terry Naturally Vitamins in
finer health food store everywhere, or go to Terry Naturally
Vitamins dot com to find a Ronia Berrycomplex Terry Naturallyvitamins

(26:09):
dot com, or you can call their toll free number
for more information at eight sixty six five nine eight
five four eight seven A ronia very complex by Terry
Naturally Vitamins. All right, it's time now, ladies and jumping
for the health outrage of the week. She's mark the

(26:29):
don't believe it. Come on each to for the health
outbridge because it's nothing, but it is outrageous. More middle
aged adults have been dying from strokes. Experts cite three
factors that might be to blame. Experts point to an

(26:50):
increased risk factor and misidentification of symptoms as possible reasons
for a a spike in stroke deaths among middle egged
adults In recent years. More adults between the ages of
forty five and sixty four have been dying of from strokes,
according to a new report from the Centers for Disease

(27:11):
Control CDC. Stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain
is blocked or there's a sudden bleeding in the brain.
The blockage is the most common, that's ninety percent versus
a bleed, which islying around ten percent, and unless treated quickly,
it can lead to lasting brain damage. Long term disability
and death. Interestingly, they neglect to mention there are two

(27:36):
different forms of stroke, A schemic that's the one that
is ninety percent of the time, which is the blockage type,
and hemorrhagic which is ten percent, which is the bleed form.
So why are they focusing on the a schemic only
in their reporting to the press. That's the question that
I have. After declining from two thousand and two to

(27:58):
twenty twelve stroke deaths, the stroke death rate for middle
age adults increased by five percent from twenty nineteen through
twenty twenty one. That's what the CDC found. The stroke
death rate then fell by two percent for men through

(28:20):
twenty twenty two and did not change significantly for women,
So through twenty twenty two there was still a five
percent clot a five percent and three percent increase in
strokes in women and men, respectively. Now, it just so
happened that the COVID clot shot campaign began at the

(28:45):
beginning of twenty twenty one. Yet the CDC is avoiding
the possibility that COVID shots had anything to do with
the big uptick in strokes in women and men from
twenty twenty one through twenty twenty two. How outrageous is that.
But again, they have to do this because they were
the ones who gave the green light on everybody getting

(29:07):
a clot shot, a COVID shot. So all of a
sudden you see an uptick in strokes in men and
women because of clots, the ischemic form, the ninety percent form.
Yet they don't mention it in their reporting. Which kind
it is because they know that these COVID shots with
the spike proteins increase the viscosity of the blood. It
increases the human body's potential for having a clot somewhere,

(29:31):
be it in the brain or in the blood vessels
of the heart. It's outrageous how they purposely blame things
aside from their culpability in pushing the COVID spike protein
clot shots. It's amazing and that's why it qualified as
the health outrage of the week. We'll come back with

(29:51):
the product recall, stay with us. It's the Doctor Bob artinshow.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
So I'm a bush of this number Simonencible.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
They have one ever singles a.

Speaker 6 (30:26):
I I welcome you or welcome you back to the
Doctor Bob Martin Show.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Thank you for tuning into the program. Thank you for
telling everybody you know to do the very same thing
by jotting down the call letters of the radio station
you're listening to, whether it's an a MRFM station, the
frequency on the dial, time of the day, and they
just pass that on to as many people as you
want to have know more about this show, so they
too can become enlightened, can come out of the darkening

(30:59):
in a light. That's what we do. We help you
to become your own best doctor most of the time.
Now we're going to get to phone calls here shortly,
but first we have a little bit of business to
take care of. In the product recall of the week.
The product recall of the week, well, nearly one hundred

(31:23):
and forty thousand popsicles recalled nationwide. Here's what you need
to know. Nearly one hundred and forty thousand, one hundred
and forty thousand popsicle products are being pulled from the
market after an allergy alert was issued. Unilever US, the
corporation that owns Popsicle brand, issued the news and a

(31:44):
statement making consumers aware of an issue going on with
the popsicle. Jolly Rancher single served products. According to a
press release on their website, Unilever said the frozen snack
is being recalled because it makes contain undisclosed milk products
and ingredient that is not listed on the label. Because

(32:07):
some people are allergic to milk and if they eat it,
they may have some problem like not breathing well or
having diarrhea or a rash or whatever it may be. Because,
after all, milk is one of the most allergic substances
known to man. The brand warns that persons who have
an allergy to or severe sensitivity to milk run the

(32:27):
risk of a serious, life threatening allergic reaction if they
consume the product, and according to the statement, there have
already been reported allergic reactions in connection with the popsicle
Jolly Rancher products. So if you have them lurking in
your freezer right now, take them back, get your money back.

(32:47):
There are, by the way, natural ways to do popsicles.
You get the you find one of those plastic popsicle
things and you pour fruit juice in it. Why give
your children nothing but sugar and artific coloring agents and
everything else so they get hyperactive and need ritlin and
all that drug when you can actually make your own popsicles,

(33:08):
or better yet, put grapes in the freezer and freeze
the grapes and when they want something sweet, give them
frozen grapes. Black ones, red ones, green ones, whatever you
can get. All right, so there's the product green call.
All right. Let's get back to your phone calls and questions. Now,
here's our caller phone hotline if you want to call
in and ask a question about your health and make

(33:28):
a health comment. One eight hundred six to zero six
eighty eight twenty two eight hundred six zero six eight
eight two two. Next up is Peter calling in from
Bonner's Faery, Idaho.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
Hello, this is Peter from Bonner's Fairry, Idaho. My healthcare
question is I've got these I thought there were stomach problems.
They gave me on neppersol, and they gave me a
anti nausea pill soap for in something like that, and

(34:04):
I'm just nauseous, and I was wondering how what I
can do to get rid of this. Is there something
I need it's better for me, or I don't eat
fast food. I try and eat good food anyway. Yeah,
I don't know if you can give me some advice
on the radio, and your show is great, and that's

(34:25):
why I'm calling you. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
All right, Peter, Thank you for calling in. Thank you
for the compliment. Yes, there is something you can do.
Take charge of this. This is a situation in your
body's trying to help you. Bless your body every time
it gives you this symptom because it's warning you that
you're doing something wrong, something's violating you, and you don't
know about it now. It probably is not necessarily related
to what you eat, but it could be. Keep a diary.

(34:49):
Every time you eat this, you get that, and when
you don't eat that, you don't get this. Doing a
careful assessment of what you're eating and then nailing down
every time you do something you get an effect. But
we find that heartburn and acid indigestion can be caused
by coffee, caffeine products, can be caused by alcohol, can

(35:11):
be caused by eating too quickly. So chew your food
better twenty choose before you swallow, because digestion begins in
the mouth with amylase being secreted by your prodded glands.
When you chew, it squirts that fluid into your mouth
starts the carbohydrates breaking down in your mouth. You've got
to have that, so chew it good, don't wolf it down.

(35:31):
And there also go to the health food store and
try this. I'm not going to tell you it's nuts.
Take your drugs. That's what your pharmacist and doctor responsible for.
What I will tell you. There are options. There's a
supplement called Heartburn Rescue by Terry Naturally Vitamins, and there's
another one called Stomach and Intestinal Relief, same company, Terry

(35:51):
Naturally Vitamins. They're fine. You can find those in finer
health food stores and that taking those may help extricate
you from the drugs. But again I'm not telling you
get off the drug. Heartburn Rescue and Stomach intestinal Relief
are the supplements by accompanyed by the name of Tarry
Naturally Vitamins that if you take those you may get

(36:14):
some relief. Also, we find that doctor ohiraes probiotics. If
you chew three of those when you feel the onset
of let's say some stomach stress or a stomach acid
coming on, or a sour stomach, if you just pop
three of the doctor oh here is probiotics in your

(36:34):
mouth and suck out the fluid and if you can
spit out the capsule if you want, or just you know,
swallow with water, you'll get relief with that as well.
All Right, again, thank you for your phone call, Peter.
Good health to you. Stand by, ladies and gentlemen. We're
coming right back. You're tuned into the Doctor Bob Martin Show.

(37:19):
